Popular Post XaW
Ok, I kinda lost the drive for my save in England, so I'm doing something very different. I'm heading to Andorra! I couldn't find out what kind of kits they have, so I just used the same as Benfica. I mean, they use the same badge, so why not! There was a transfer already in place when I took over, and here is the screenshot.

Dreadful run and no matter what I do, nothing works. I did have a squeak of escaping the bottom 3 but this result is your usual FM! 5-3 and concede the 5th in the 100th minute! Thebaker
7 hours ago, Thebaker said: Profile Decided to start this with a team in Sweden, it was dictated to some degree by having a team with enough players to get though the first season, although many are likely to retire in the near future. The facilities are extremely limited so it might take a while to truly make progress. This didn't last long, sacked after only 14 games as the team went into the relegation zone. The lack of a decent striker proved a killer as the team created chances in the first few games but didn't take them. The form and lack of personalities then took their toll. Need to get a stronger team up

bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic Premier Division (Season 10) Good but difficult season. We ended 5th in the league before the championship group and then really imploded and failed to qualify for Europe. It's discouraging to end the season like this. Our facilities were downgraded for the third time without being able to improve them once. We need money. We are bleeding financially more than ever due to a loan for a new stadium. Transfers: Youth Intake: Next season we need more of the same but this time we need to qualify for Europe for the money that it'll bring us.
Matsusipida
IFK Lidingö Season 15 / 2038 / Swedish 1st Division Elite It's been a while since my last update. Now I finally finished the season 2038. During the preseason we sold our best outfield player Jesus Larsson 35B to AIK for a club record fee 650K€ + 45% clause. After the season I decided to sell the clause for another 200K€ as he wasn't playing nor making any progress. Spoiler So, with a weakened squad i was pretty sceptic about our changes to repeat last seasons succesfull 3rd place. And the season started pretty badly with 3 losses from first 5 matches. Mid season we found some kind of a form and almost challenged for a playoff spot. Finally we finished with a pretty nice 5th place in league. In cup we once again finished last in the group and qualified to next years group stage. Spoiler Club icon jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was in a fine form once again with 10 goals and 12 assists. Josip Kalinic 28F was our top goalscorer with 14 goals. Rasmus Ohlander 35C and Johan Svensson 37A have made nice progress and are player alongside Jesper Bergtoft 30E as CD. Our long standing CD Jonas Bergander 24C (326 league caps for us) has finaly been dropped and I deceided to release him after the season as he was running out of contract. Gabriel Johanssonn 35A is also taking huge steps in development. Spoiler jonathan Sletsjøe 30A, Josip Kalinic 28F, Rasmus Ohlander 35C, Simon Didrik 30C Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Youth intake was ok. Aydin Sahin 38A is a promising looking winger, something I've been waiting for... Jörgen Nilsson 38B is a resolute character and has a decent potential. Francis Oyoh 38C has got some potential but is unambitious so he might make it or not. anyone else making it to first team would be a supprise. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Finances are ok. Spoiler No changes in facilities or youth setup. this is what happens when you play FM with only one nation loaded... Popular Post libbyshuss
Lyra Lierse - Belgium - 2063/64 Pro Jupiler League: Winners Champions League: WINNERS CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!!! We did it! in Belgium! it was a glorious season where everything just came together. Champions League League Stage A poor start with no victory in our first 3 matches but I wasn't too worried as we'd been playing well. Sure enough, the results started to come, with a draw against PSG and a victory against Newcastle really encouraging results. But only 3 victories meant it was into the playoffs Knock-out Round So into the play-off knockout round where we got Rennes, who are a pretty good side. We drew with them in the league stage and got another draw in the first leg. We played really well in the second and got a well deserved victory Round of 16 Atletico Madrid! My plan from here was really simple - draw away, win at home and we're in the final. easy! and so it worked out here - a nice comfortable home win followed by a good 2-2 draw away. We were clearly the better side over two legs Quarter-Final Which is more than can be said for the quarter-final. To get anywhere in the champions league i think you need a bit of luck along the way, and this is where we got lucky. We beat Real in the league stage last season so I knew they weren't invincible but they are still a formidable side. When we lost the first leg 2-1 I was pleased as it gave us a fighting chance in the home leg. We got the win, but at only 1-0 it went to pens..... which we managed to squeak 6-5 Semi-Final Newcastle! Who we'd beaten in the league stage and who i knew we could beat! but i always get nervous this deep into the competition. Even after we blew them away in the first leg i was still expecting to lose 5-0 in the away leg. In truth they were nowhere near us. we'd made it to the final! Final It was the current holders Spurs in the final. In fact, they'd won the last three Champions Leagues. But again, we'd beat them 3 times in the last few seasons so i knew we could take them on our day. Luckily we'd won the league with 5 games to spare so i was able to rest the entire first XI meaning we came into it with a completely fit first choice team. It was now or never! and..... Not even close! we were amazing!!!! The Players So here are my all conquering heroes! 1. Goalkeeper: Loan Marechal 45C age: 34 Apps: 47 goals: 0 AR: 7.08 World class keeper coming to the end of his career. 150 Belgium caps and a wealth of experience behind him, can't really ask for a more solid foundation to buil upon 2. Right Back: Jayden Groffy 54B age: 25 apps: 48 goals: 4 AR: 7.25 A better centre back but also our best right back and that's where he played the majority of his matches. A good solid defender with 25 Belgian caps 3. Left back: Adam Daniels 57D Age: 22 Apps: 45 gls: 0 AR 7.18 One of my best youths of recent years but in truth he had no competition. If he ever got injured i was forced to play a bucket and a mop in his place. Another Belgian international with 18 caps to his name, he was great at bombing up and down the wing. Only 5 assists this season though which was a surprise 4. Centre Back - Brieuc Boon 54A Apps 47 gls 11 AR 7.42 What a player. In his final season as he absolutely refused to sign a new contract for years, such was his desire to play with a stronger squad. And then, just as he announced his intention to leave, he got one! amazing player, if we hadn't won this season I would have really missed him 5. Centre Back - Nikolaus Verbruggen 58C Age: 21 Apps 43 gls: 9 Ar 7.30 It's testament to how good Boon is that Verbruggen flew under the radar for me. Even as a wonderkid he never got close to him. This was the first season I actually started playing him regulalry and he repaid my faith with some great performances 6. Centre Mid - Guus Knol 59A Age:20 Apps: 48 gls: 4 AR: 7.31 I'm convinced he's gonna be a future world superstar. He's so good - a wonderkid at 17 he's been first choice in mids since then and been amazing. Such a reliable presence and improving all the time 7. Centre Mid - Vidian Miath-Annerose 51B Age: 28 Apps: 38 gls: 5 AR: 7.27 Good solid pro with 50+ France caps under his belt. Just does the basic things really well but allows the better players around him to thrive 8. Attacking centre midfield - Svenne Schlabertz 55A Apps: 40 gls: 18 AR 7.30 Previously our enfant terrible! Asa teenager he missed 6 first team games because he was falling out of bars the night before but some maturity and mentoring seems to have solved it because at 25 he's a great professional. Not particularly quick or strong but with great technique and mental awareness he's an ideal AMC for our team 9. Left Wing - Sam Straetman 51A Apps 42 gls 29 AR 7.36 Our superstar! Winner of this years balon d'or, now 28 and at his absolute peak, he was key to everything good we did. I protected him a lot, hence only 42 games, as I couldn't afford to risk him getting injured before any of the Champions League games! so often was he the match winner. 45 goal involvements from 42 games! 10. Right wing - Maxime Guilloteau 59B Apps 45 gls 20 AR 7.44 French right winger who won this year Golden Boy. Looks like he could go on to be really, really good. At 20 he's already pretty, pretty good! 11. Striker - Amir Achenteh 56B Apps 22 gls 13 AR 7.38 If we did have a weak spot it ws up front. Achenteh started second choice but forced his way into the side towards the end of the season. He's a good squad player, no more really, but I really like how quick he is Easily my best team of the save so far. so strong and balanced all the way through. The team I took over was good, but varied. Still, turns out the players are quite bad here with very little actual skill. Got a few excellent players and some nice physical attributes go a long way down here! We just played great and controlled just about every game. The single defeat was undeserved, and I think we could have won every league match this season with a bit of luck. Career amazing ! you did it in Belgium, one of the must bugges nations for years to do it ! great job !
Popular Post naterr
Alex Jones at Merthyr - Season 2. The second season started well and were unbeaten in the first 16 games (league and cup combined). Our form continued through into the new year but February seemed to be the month the players struggled. A winless Feb left us 1 point out of the playoffs. Youth Intake We were promised another Excellent youth intake but the only position they rated an A was for striker. This was needed as it was our weakest position for sure. When they arrived on the bus we did indeed get our striker, plus another keeper and Centre back. Top 3 Below Spoiler After the reinforcements arrived it gave us the needed boost to kick on and make the play offs. Another strong end to the season helped us reach 4th place. We drew on the last day of the season which dropped us from 3rd to 4th. 3rd was the target as it would let us skip one round of the playoffs. Playoffs This year we got one round further and made it to the final, our reward was facing Gateshead who finished in second place, and they were favourites! Team News The Final The game started very slowly, I had to make sure I had highlights on when we got to half time with no highlight at all! The second half picked up but still 0-0 at full time. By the 110th minute I was preparing for penalties, players were tired so I took our left back off for our back up striker! However, we didn't need penalties, two goals late on were enough for promotion. Promotion!!!!! When we got to playoffs for the second year running I was worried we would be stuck here forever but it went well in the end. I was poised ready to take a screenshot of the trophy lift, didn't realise there wasn't one for the playoffs here! never mind! Next year is going to be incredibly tough as a lot of players are refusing to sign new contracts, one of our DM's was ready to negotiate, but wasn't willing to accept less than £6k per week....nope! Season Stats and Awards Welsh Club Updates: Newport finish mid table league two, while Wrexham win that league. Cardiff win the playoffs to get back into the Championship. In Wales Bala Town become the new champions, beating Haverfordwest by 1 point.

Virtual Male
@libbyshuss massive well done for getting the job done in Belgium, made even harder by the finances being awful over there. @naterr Loving seeing some familiar names from the start of my Merthyr save, I've never found the Vanarama National a big step up so fingers crossed you'll be the top end of the table next season too!
Popular Post andershs
Macclesfield FC (England) Season 12 - 2035/36 - Championship Have I got news for you. In the long run, we are laying the foundation for us to remain at this level and be a youth development force to be recognized. In the short run, we managed to survive the first season in the Championship with a point pr. game. We were poor, but the bottom four to six teams were weaker, and we managed to beat them or draw with them and never really went into a catastrophic loosing run. That is a good first season. League (Results 1, Results 2, Cups, League Chart) - We stayed up. That was the goal for the season. We are outclassed by the top half of this division while being better than the bottom teams. We managed to win or draw a game with 3-6 games interval so our form never went completely out of the window. Nothing to talk about in the cups. Team (Details) - We have a strong team for now, and one that can develop further at this level. Astley Rawson - 28C is our best goalkeeper. Charlie Roddan - 28B is our best central midfielder. At the end of the season we managed to agree new contracts with them. All season they have been grumpy and wanting a new contract. But they required 3-4 times higher wage than I could give. Without fully understanding the financial fluctuations, I was able to tie them down at the end of the season. That is important. Marcus Hearne - 32B is developing nicely. He looks like a real talent. His partner Charlie Kiely - 31D is also very strong and is about to get his full international debut at the Euros. Andrzej Gawlik is playing left back. Enock Coo - 29D and Davis Rainford - 32A are our defensive midfielders. The main breakthrough this season is Bastian Heyer. He is our Advanced Playmaker and has developed nicely this season. At some point several Premier League clubs were interested. Connor Muir - 26C is still good. I am contemplating if I should sell him because Luke Dainty looks promising and ready for first team football. The only one I cannot tie to a contract is my other winger Anthony Coyne - 28H. It is no disaster. I feel he can be replaced. My brilliant striker Gavin Kershaw - 28E has probably found his level now. But he is still delivering a decent amount of goals. So I am not complaining. Antoni Petrie - 30A was his reserve and also played on the left wing. Alex Shearer got some game time and trained well all season. So he will get opportunities next year along with Henry Asamoah and Luke Dainty. From my U18-team I can mention Mark O'Connor from last years intake. He looks like a real talent. Tony Graham might also get some opportunities along Colin Downey and Paul McGuinness. All in all, with my newfound ability to renew expensive contracts, I think the team looks strong for the coming years at this level. Facilities - Where to start? The board decided to expand the stadium. This will generate extra income which is nice. After our survival in the Championship, the board also announced that our Youth Level will be raised to 3. And for the money generated by the sale of Cameron Bennett - 33A, we managed to upgrade training and youth facilities. Finances - I decided to sell Cameron Bennett - 33A to Arsenal in the beginning of the season for approx. £7 mio and a 50% sell-on clause. I think that will be good business. He was too good for this level and with Marcus Hearne - 32B and Charlie Kiely - 31D we have sufficient cover. The facility upgrades and the youth setup ate the profits, but with price money etc. at the end of the season our finances momentarily look very nice and I am able to sign the players on new Championship-contracts. I cannot understand the financial flow entirely to be honest though. My salary struggles can also be seen by the Salary pr. Anum list. Youth Intake (Dev. Centre) - Better than last year, I think. Dean Parr, South-Korean Im Sang-Won, Gari Metcalf and James Chadwick looks promising. No Transfers In - But we sold Cameron Bennett - 33A for good money and a sell on clause. Goal for next season: Survive again. Keep developing and improving the squad. Edited May 16 by andershs

libbyshuss
10 hours ago, Perre8 said: @libbyshuss amazing work!! Congratulations How did you survive the early stages with the financial issues? it helped that Lyra Lierse start with pretty good facilities so I was getting a half decent intake from the start. I had to sell 2 or 3 players a season though and constantly pray the 50%+ clauses got triggered for a good while though, which was frustrating. Once you break through that barrier though it gets a lot, lot easier as Belgium intakes are ridiculously good

resurectedja
FM23* Deportivo Armenio Season 3 – 2025 – First Division Our first continental competition started perfectly! Three wins out of three, even beating the group favorites AMG away. Only one team goes through the next round, nothing was safe. And we lost our home game against AMG, followed by a very unlucky draw with Guabira. On the last day I hoped Guabira could bring some of their luck against AMG but they lost without a whimper, while absolutely demolished O’Higgins of Chile in our best and most ruthless game of the season. We finished second in the group, 2 points off AMG. We were a lot worse in the League Cup this year. This is mostly due to the fact that I completely rotated the starting 11 before every single game in the Copa Sudamericana. Still, we managed to finish 8th, with 4 out of the 5 losses coming in games with rotated squad. All that was good enough for another new two-year contract. The bookmakers had a much better opinion of us this season! They predicted us to finish 25th with 700-1 odds of winning the title. League season didn’t start particularly well against this frustration fest of a game against Talleres. But we turned it around in the next round by absolutely wrecking Lanus. Bonacci really carried us in the first part of the season, even won player of the month for July. Good form carried us to our very first league lead towards the end of August! We were there, around first place for most of the season. This is mostly due to Boca having 4 games in hand. They were an unstoppable machine and after our unlucky loss to Platense, we had to kiss our title chances goodbye. We ended up second, eight points behind Boca and one in front of River. Absolutely magnificent season can’t believe how well it went. Off to Libertadores next year, to finally earn so much needed money and maybe even get out of the red! Oh, and I finally won my first award! Never won a single Manager of the Month but got Manager of the Year. One of the keys for our improvement this season I think is my new assistant manager. He has better judgement attributes than the previous person giving the reports. His tactical knowledge far exceeds what we currently have at the club. Since he is on the younger side, I hope he keeps improve and we stick with him throughout the save. I will remember this season as the free for all season when it comes to my youth products. We had so many of them poached. Clubs were poaching them like they were eggs! Gaston Morales and Gabriel Ranzato went to Ferro, Franco Orellana went to Estudiantes (LP), Claudio Godoy went to Gimnasia (LP), Eric Coceres went to Sarmiento I changed my HOYD this year, finally found someone who is better than my DoF in terms of both personality and attributes. His JPA isn’t great, but the other two attributes and personality are absolute class. I was blown away by my youth intake preview. I know you have to take these things with a grain of salt, but it said that I might get not 1 or 2, but 6 extremely talented players in this year’s intake. None of them was a central defender, but the goalkeeper is much needed, and I hope the full backs were taller and stronger than usual, so I could retrain them to central defenders. Sadly, the intake was a different story. We got just two elites out of the promised 6, along with 3 top talents,7 good talents and 4 decent talents. The pick of the litter are Mario Barrios and Martin Rojas, both natural AMCs. In Barrios we finally have a 5 star potential with a terrific personality! Adore high flair players and I hope he turns into a 20/20 flair by the end of his development. Looking forward to him becoming a true creative and scoring force for us in the future. Rojas looks like a tall Chad version of young Messi. I doubt he has the potential. More of a pure playmaker than all round attacking threat like Barrios. Personality isn’t great. Rojas is also by far the tallest player I got so far with 193cm. Apart from 3 decent talents, everyone got a youth contract, with the hopes that a few of them surprise me and turn out half a star or star better than what is currently projected. Marchesin and Estevez, the two promoted players, both got around 30 games, mostly of the bench this season. Marchesin improved a bit, but Estevez really didn’t. Both have seen their potential drop to 4 stars. Hopefully one of them hits it, would be bumped if both of them have reached their PA but my staff doesn’t know it yet. A bit pessimistic about the next years intake, especially the CA part since our facilities were downgraded. Pio Bonacci was once again our leading scorer with 25 goals Gonzalo Rios won player of the month for September, was included in the Team of the Year (with Salomoni) and was our best rated player with 7,34. Absolutely monster season scoring and creating at will. Olmedo was our most creative player with 22 assists and just 0,01 shy of Rios in terms of average rating. Patricio Correa, a player from our first intake, was on loan this season and keeps improving. I am promoting him to the first team. Due to his versatility and me letting Sica leave to cut expenses, he will be our 3rd option in the center of the midfield next season. Hopefully he improves more than Estevez and Marchesin did this year. The plan is to focus on the Libertadores in the first part of the season, during the League Cup part of the calendar. Just by qualifying we get 3 million, which erases most of our current debt. If we manage to go further, we could actually have some money for upgrades. In the league I hope for another top 4 finish and more Libertadores cash.
Thebaker
I started again in Sweden, this time at a team with slightly better facilities although no crowds to speak of. It does have an incredibly strong squad with no old players and a lot of potential, 4 stars is a leading player for this division. Keeping hold of the players may be difficult although it is light on defenders and the 2 youth players that came through last season were really poor which is a concern. We were pretty much top the entire time in the 2nd season. There's not too much to say here - Rangers are completely mid-table in the Championship now and didn't get back promoted in either of the seasons. Hearts actually got relegated in 71/72 so enter next season in League 1. 70/71 Cups: No trophies for us here. 71/72 Cups: Or here. I think this is first time for a while I've not won a cup. The board are still wanting me to reach the Semi Final of both, although I'd appreciate the League Cup not being important! I'm using mostly reserve teams in every cup match at the moment as I'm trying to keep the starters as fit as possible for the Champions League games. 70/71 Europe: 71/72 Europe: Inter enact revenge for us knocking them out last year in a very cruel way: We were a step behind the entire game, although found ourselves 1-0 up through a gift from the Inter defence. We actually looked fairly solid until an awful deflection saw them equalise. We just couldn't hold on in extra time till penalties or find a goal ourselves. That's our third final loss in six years. Gut punch doesn't quite come close to how I feel! Youth Intake: Few interesting ones here, along with some handy personalities in the 2nd intake. Last 5 Years: 2072/73 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Premiership League: Bit of a different screenshot, just to show the utter madness that was the final day. Any of the top 4 could win it, but sadly both Aberdeen and Hibs got a result. This is the first time in 9 years that we've not taken the league title - and I'm not entirely sure how. We either struggled or seemed to win by 3 or 4 goals. Cups: Another year, another year of no cup trophies. Actually means we end up the season with no domestic trophies - incredibly disappointing. Europe: TRANENT HAVE WON THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!! At the 4th time of asking, we've finally got over the line and attained the Champions League trophy! And who else but Steve Court has won it for us. Not just in this game, but to take a quick look at the top goal scorers: Yes, that's 25 Champions League goals in 16 games. To say we relied on him is a bit of an understatement! That's now the record for most goals in a Champions League year by a long shot. Popular Post Winski
BK Skjold Season review Season 2 | 2025-2026 2. Division (Tier 3) Transfers | Afiliates |Finances| Facilities | Manager Profile | Competitions overview | Club overview Another good season for us! After our promotion from last season, my only hope was to avoid relegation. But we managed to qualify for the Promotion playoffs! We finished 5th in the League, and with that finish we qualified for the playoffs. But we were never a real candidate for the two promotion places. I'm just really happy that we are good enough to avoind relegation this easily, and can compete with the bigger teams in this league. I think this is the maximum this current squad can do. On the final day of the season we managed to win 5-1 against champion Esbjerg fB, although is has to be said that a couple of days earlier they won the league. So maybe they were still drinking beers In the Cup we survived three rounds, but found our Waterloo in the Fourth Round, against fallen giant Aalborg. One of my best players was striker Marius Framnes. He was originally a left winger, but I retrained him into a striker, as I play with 3 strikers. He scored 15 goals, and produced 16 assists. But also my other strikers Christian Nissen(22 goals) and David Müller (25 goals) scored lots of goals. Also a shout-out to Academy product Esben Miltoft 25c, who is developing into a good midfielder for us. He is ony of the three Academy Products in our first XI. Youth intake & preview I hired a new HoYD: Christian Grindheim. His first preview was promising, and the intake itself didn't disappoint. Soms nice talents! Spoiler Upgrades The board accepted again some improvements for the Junior Coaching budget, who is new labelled as Excellent. Beside that, there is no money for other improvements. But this current board is injecting money into the club to clear the debts every now and then. So I'm very happy with that. We are also renting another stadium. Our previous stadium was too small for this level, so we are now playing in Østerbro Stadion, with a capacity of 4,4K. But it will take a while until we can sell out our stadium, as the average attendance this season was 528. Progress

Popular Post Riebow
Alright, I'm back in. The issue with the Belgian finances always scared me off, but @libbyshusshas shown it can be done. I even didn't have to reload to get the team I wanted, a mere 20 minutes drive from home: KSV Oudenaarde. The obligatory eyebrows were raised, yadda yadda yadda. As a bonus the job was available as they moved their long time head coach of 16 years to Technical Director. Manager style: Spoiler / League (24/25) We were predicted to finish rock bottom, but we were never in any trouble. Instead we were battling for promotion for most of the season. We finished poorly, however, and ended 5th. Croky Cup Probably the best possible result at this point: a home game against a big team. We had a full house and some nice gate receipts. Spoiler Youth Intake We actually start out with some decent facilities, so I was really excited about the first intake. It didn't disappoint with 14 Elite talents, although some personalities are pretty crappy. Spoiler Finances and upgrades Despite all my players at the beginning of the save were on amateur contracts, we were still projected to lose massive amounts of money. The finances at this level still don't make any sense. The board helped with some injections so the situation is still bearable but I'll need to sell some youngsters soon. We did manage to improve our Youth Recruitment after some harassing the board Next season The squad will look a lot different next season as I will play mostly the young ones from the intake. In this division everyone can beat everyone so I'm not counting out promotion.
