It was being hard to me survive the relegation from the Vanarama National League North/South, so I thought: what if I start the journey in a lower league? Of course I had to download a database, but I think it is allowed for this challenge. It's the Dan's one, the one with 20 levels on England. I decided to start in the 8th, in the Isthmian League Division One South Central. I simulated a season and I chose from one of the promoted teams: FC Romania. I liked that they have never won a title. The squad is very short, so the challenge is always the same: try to not lose any player in the first title and avoid the relegation, so I can start building a team with the first generation of regens. [+] FC Romania's squad [+] Isthmian League Division One South Central [+] Manager's profile Good luck with many Romanian regens but be careful for the brexit situation.

First, in 15th minute goal for Bayern, but thankfully it was an offside, then our boys stepped up, Ayham Homsi hit the post twice, we were creating more chances. In 68th min Karl-Johan Hallberg who was really tired and ready to be substituted made his last impact in this match and we're up 1-0. Not for long, just after the kickoff Bayern answered back. Just before end of regular time Robert Gustavsson saw his second yellow card but that didn't ruin teams morale. Extra time started with a hit in the face, Bayern takes lead, we have to switch to very offensive style because at this point we got nothing to lose. Then Michael Nyberg strikes the equalizer, Stefanos Anagnostidis made it 3-2, so now park the bus and pray. Unfortunately Bayern scored their third and all was decided in penalty shootout. I owe a bottle of good champagne to FC Porto who agreed to delay transfer date of Adam Larsson because this man saved two penalties and was a crucial part of that victory. Oh, and Hammarby just won Europa League a week earlier so Swedish teams became a strong force lately. Maybe I'll stick with this career as a side job now, but I already have something fun in mind as my next chapter @darren1983 looks like you can add Sweden into completed nations list Edit: Just one more thing, managers career overview to prove 0 transfers in Great job! bg0123
Usti nad Labem - Czech First Division - 5th Season (2028-29 Season) It was an extremely difficult season. We finished 14th and in the relegation group. We weren't able to catch up anyone so we played a two legged match to (hopefully) secure safety in the First Division. We lost the first leg 3-1 but turned it around in the second leg with a 3-0 victory to stay in the division. Transfers: Youth Intake: I've accepted that we were going to struggle and expect more of the same next season. Although there will be more stability in the squad next year so maybe that will help.

Jimbokav1971
Hi Lads and Lasses. I'm doing a Youth Only save in a Town with a population of only approx. 46,800 and I've progressed to 2057. In all that time I haven't had any family relations come through the intake, (although I have had 3 players with the same unusual surname come through the same intake). I think my save was started with the Beta/Early Access, (but not positive), so it might be caused by that, but I'm trying to work out if this is a but and if so is it being seen by others? Have any of you actually seen family relationships for Newgens in your own games in FM24? (Thanks in advance).

resurectedja
FM23 Jadran Luka Ploče - Season 4 – 2025/26 It was a record-breaking season, but for all the wrong reasons. We managed to survive, but by a record low number of points. Rudeš, the team who got relegated this season was absolutely awful, and apart from a short burst of form were never close to jumping us. We finished the season 9th. We were around 7th or 8th during the first part of the season, but we really fell apart in February, going on a 8 game losing streak. We bounced back late to secure 9th. We were in the relegation playoffs against Varaždin. It was a breeze, idk why but they hardly had any players with good sharpness. We drew away and won resoundingly at home. If we were lucky in the first part of the season and the second part was how things really could be, I really think our fifth season could be our last in the league. We were a 1000-1 to win the league and our form showed why. The big 4 of Croatian football demolished us multiple times. We have conceded 8 and 7 goals once and 5 goals multiple times this season. We made some money thanks to the 1,2 million euro per year tv deal. Not enough for upgrades, but its nice to have a financially stable club. We rented another stadium this year. The one in Zmijavci wasn’t up to standard so we moved to Imotski this season. I was offered a job by Gorica and Lokomotiva this season. To ward of suitors my board offered me a new 2 year deal. Due to no real upgrade options at HoYD I added an DoF to my staff. He is much better than everyone else at judging ability and potential. He is also a true Professional personality, similar to everyone else on our staff. Its high professional or bust if you want to join this club. He produced an astounding preview, promising 8 talented players. He not only delivered, but we got 11!!! Elite talents. It would be too much to post all of them, so I will only focus on the two best. Antonini Šiljić is a naturally fit, brave and precise tackling defensive mid. He also has a fairly professional personality. With 2 stars now, I expect him to be 3 stars by the time he is 17. Second starlet of this year’s intake is Vencel Spajić. A very talented deep lying forward with impressive bravery, flair and determination. Only plan for next season is once again, not get sacked. Our best mid Žderić left on free and joined a second division team. Things are looking bleak.

Haddock
After lurking around for a while I've decided to join in on the challenge. Initially started with Wacker Innsbruck as I thought Austria was yet to be completed, only to later realise that @Perre8 had not only completed the challenge with that exact team - but did it in only 10 seasons! I know it's not really a competition but after seeing that everything I would manage to achieve would pale in comparison. So a new start in Croatia and Kustosija it was. Already a few seasons into the save and really enjoying it! Fun to see a few others here doing Croatia as well.

Unfortunately, it's something the game does to "simulate reality". If you check at the start of the game, there is a high turnover of players in all the teams in the First and Second RFEF, partly because the financial issue is quite complicated in those leagues. Matsusipida
IFK Lidingö season 16 / 2039 During preseason we once again lost one of our key players in Gabriel Johanson 35A for 400K€. Spoiler Season started brilliantly with us only dropping from the cup group by goal difference. Spoiler Nice cup campaign was followed by nice early season with 5 wins and 2 draws. Afterwards we lost for and struggled to score goals. Team underperformed XG goals scored by 10.4 goals recording a team record low goals scored 39. luckily our star goalkeeper Simon Didrik 30C was in fine form and we only conceded 29 goals, 9 less compared to XG. we somehow managed to remain in promotion contention untill latter stages, but it just wasn't to be. We finished the league with a decent 4th position. Spoiler Once again Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was the best performer with 11 goals and 5 assists. Our former 1st choice striker Josip Kalinic 28F lost his form and only scored 2 league goals. Andreas Söderström 31A scored 7 goals and was our best Striker/winger. Johan Svensson 37A has made massive improvements and is now our best defender. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Yout intake was dissapointing. highest potential prospects are casual and low self belief. HOYD got sacked. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Facilities are the same. finances are on a decline. Promotion and some price money from there would be nice. Spoiler Manager Spoiler I feel like the save is stagnating in a way. We just keep loosing best prospects/players. next season we are losing our GK as we only kept him this season by promising promotion we couldn't get. bg0123
Usti nad Labem - Czech First Division - 6th Season (2029-30 Season) As expected, another difficult season. A little better than last year as we didn't have to go through a relegation/promotion playoff to stay in the league. My team seems to always come together when it's the end of the year, I wish we could have this consistently in the season then we may be more of a mid table team. Transfers: Youth Intake: Second year in a row that we get a lackluster youth intake. Popular Post Riebow
KSV Oudenaarde Season Review (25/26) League Quite an uneventful season, never in the promotion hunt and never in any danger for relegation. The goal is just to develop the players and hopefully haphazardly go up one season Corky Cup Not a great draw with Seraing, which didn't result in any nice gate receipts, which is the only goal at this point. Youth intake I didn't take a screenshot at the time of intake so you'll have to do with my excel snippet. As expected a lot of potential, but a bit disappointed with the CA considering the quality of the squad Finances Well, it happened. There's no money in this level and honestly even in full amateur we would be losing money despite barely paying anyone Transfers The board already sold two prospects from last season's intake for almost no money. Let's hope the clauses bring in some cash. Next season No expectations for the league, just developing the players and hopefully sell some for some money so we can get our professional status back

Popular Post Perre8
NK Karlovac - season 2 (2025/26) - first division After our good first half of the season, we continued flying the league, the team really started to gel, also a couple of youth players that came trough and delivered instantly! We had a couple of upgrades in our youth recruitment and training facilities, the last one took a big chunk out of our budget! A few of our youth players that are eligible for the first division who are worth mentioning are: and our best player is our right winger with the lovely name Luka Viduka so back to our progression in the league, we didn't get a real win streak but the other top teams like Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb had a really bad season that gave us some hope. We managed to secure a european place in our first season in the top flight! After the season i took my chances and asked for an upgrade for the youth facilities, the board came trough and did it but all of our sponsorship money is gone into that upgrade. So we really need that tv money and hopefully a european qualification! Edited May 29 by Perre8
Daddy
Season 9 - 2032/33 - Czechia - First Division: In jest, I had said I needed to raise my expectations and we would win the league. Turns out we're a bit closer than I realized. In the final ten matches of the season, I believe the team just wore down. The oldest player is 24, so there are still a lot of young legs and brains out there. Two big moves last season. Southampton taking our best player in the midfield wasn't ideal, but we did get a nice 40% clause on there and if he sold for his current value we'd probably get 8-10 M in the bank in addition to the initial $2M. The painful one was Ali Ali leaving to Inter on an expired contract. He was our best player and immediately ranked as #2 wonderkid in the world. A very nice intake here, with a couple of players, jumped right to the first team as rotation pieces. 2033/34 Season Preview: I will underestimate the team again, but that's because of the addition of European football to the schedule. Hopefully being extra diligent about rotation and fitness we'll at least make the top six group again in the league, and I'd like to see us make the top 24 in the Europa League. I wrote this before the start of the season and decided to play until the Europa League was drawn. In that time my keeper was sold to Man City for 10M. My current best keeper is a "Good Second Division" player. That makes everything more difficult and my most dire need for a future intake is a keeper. I only have three left in the system and this is the only player with real potential.

I'm just afraid that with such a large budget, the board will always want to fight for the highest goals, and with academy players this won't always be possible. Popular Post Virtual Male
Previous Season Victor San Marino Season 4 2027/28 Manager Profile - Competitions - Facilities - Finances - Transfer History Competitions Serie C NOW Girone B (Past Positions) - It all came together this season! All season the top 3 were within a few points of each other after we opened a bit of a gap from 4th early on in the season, Going into the last game of the season we'd hit the top of the table for the first time over the season but there was only 1 point between the top 3 teams. Luckily there wasn't any final day drama for me as the team secured a 2-1 win and secured the automatic promotion place intro the Serie B. I don't know if we can stay up but I'm hopeful we will be able to put up a good fight, even if we do end up coming back down we should have put a little more money in the bank and will, hopefully, be able to return at the first time of asking. Italian C Super Cup - A little post season tournament between the 3 Serie C league winners saw the team end their year with a couple of lacklustre performances, only picking up a point from the games. I can't say it ruined my summer after the promotion though. Coppa Italia Lego Pro - A much better showing than we've managed in previous years ending in the clubs first silverware under Astley's leadership. This run really made me believe that the league form at the time was the real thing since we we're dominating teams from all 3 Serie C divisions, the two legs of the final were pretty straight forwards too with a 3-1 win setting up a more defensive 2nd leg that ended 2-1 to Catania with us winning 4-3 on aggregate. Squad The team continued from last season with everything starting to feel really solid and the majority of the youth prospects that have been getting minutes have developed really well over the year to the point that I think we've got a really good chance of staying up next season as long as I can keep on top of the morale. Francesco Gattuso who's been the first choice keeper for pretty much the entire save so far decided that he wanted to leave the club at the end of the season so I made the decision to move 17 year old prospect Mathias Pedretti into the starting team full time to help him progress a little faster. This move cost us some points over the 2nd half of the season for sure but there was nothing to regret about it in the end, I am a little worried that he seems to love a massive blunder though but I don't really have any other options with Gattuso leaving and no-one else worth the time at the club right now, fingers crossed for next year. The stand out player over the season was Nicolo De Prisco (the first academy product to do this), he grew into arguably the best midfielder at the club and was the first name on the team sheet by Christmas, I've locked him into a long-term contract so he'll be sticking around for a long time unless a ridiculous offer comes in for him. Youth Intake (Preview) The preview promised me an 'excellent' intake but the letters didn't really fill me with confidence. When they arrived I can't say I was filled with excitement if I'm honest, there will be a couple of players that can make it into the first team though I'm sure with my favourites being Alessandro Liguori and Simone Cecchetti. Cecchetti will get more game time initially than Liguori purely because we're well equipped in the midfield right now, I'm going to try to do something about their personalities though because unambitious while not being the worst definitely makes it much harder for these guys to hit their full potential. Transfers & Finance - The club lost about 300k over the season and it's starting to become a bit of a concern for me since we've not made any progress with upgrading the facilities but are consistently losing money which really isn't ideal for the future of the club and me being able to keep hold of any good prospects that come through with the club. Hopefully there will be some more money in Serie B than there has been in Serie C but I'll just have to wait an see. Nothing of note on the transfer front again with the biggest sale being for £13k, I might have to look at cashing in on what little youth talent we have next year if the financial situation continues to get worse. Other - The board have decided that now is the time to build a new 5500 seater stadium at the cost of £7.855m. £5.5m of which we've secured a loan for so that'll be another £600k a year I'd have to find just to break even. I get why the board felt like this was the right move since our current stadium didn't meet league requirements but it could really hold me back for this challenge as I feel like this might mean I have to just survive the next decade while we clear the loan before the money will be available for any substantial facility upgrades, hopefully I'm wrong though.

I'm just afraid that with such a large budget, the board will always want to fight for the highest goals, and with academy players this won't always be possible. How come they are that rich? What is the balance?

Finally, I chose the club from my city, Wieczysta Kraków. The stadium is located 10 minutes from my place of residence. In the 23/24 season, Wieczysta played in the 4th Polish league, currently she was promoted to the 3rd league in the FM and real life. I hope that I will stay with the save for a long time. The first goal is to be the best club in the city, which is serious. competition from Wisła Kraków and Cracovia. I will try to update after each season. Of course, I play on a cutom database for the 3rd Polish league. unfortunately, after the first match I have to change my career, I found some bugs in the custom database, half of the players under 21 years of age are not verified by the game as under-21s, and there are no suspensions after a red card. Finally, I thought I found the save, but unfortunately you recommend a country for the challenge

Popular Post libbyshuss
Scotland - 2030/31 - Cinch League 1 The Blue Brazil Survive Their First Season In The First Division! But only just. We were by far the favourites to finish bottom so it was always going to be a struggle. But we managed to keep on picking up results, even if they were draws, and then had a couple of little runs where we'd win three on the bounce. The final 7 games returned zero victories, which was a worry, but we'd luckily just done enough by then to keep ourselves in League 1. Player of the Season Paul Dall 28D - AML/AMR (7.05) quite an easy one, this. Only played 6 games last season but broke through this season to make himself far and away our most important player. 14 goals and 11 assists, can play either wing, fast and determined. My very own Andros Townsend! Youth The intakes seem to have settled down a little bit afte rthe influx of elite talents. This was again an excellent intake but with a more normal number of elites. Including one who looks like he could be amazing and who went straight into the first team I immediately signed Gordon up to a 6 year (3+3) contract! Career To be honest, just surviving in league 1 would suit me fine at the minute. The legacy players are now the weakest in the side and I'm thinking next season to go full youth for the first team. The average age will be ridiculous though!

Winski
Well, their reputation is not very high, I can tell you. I had to holiday two seasons, but it took a while to get them from the 4th to the 3rd division. And it took even more time to get them promoted to the 2nd division. It took me days. So it was a real pity that I quit the save after the first season. This is what I wrote about it: Quote Well, this was not what I expected. I became champion of the Fortuna 1. Liga(Tier 2), but almost every player at the club was unhappy. Most of them because they want to play at a higher level. And they are all leaving the club in the summer, because they are not willing to sign a new deal. Also not after we became champions. Then some others are just too old, and their attributes are declining fast. If I was continuing this save, I had to promote almost every youngster from our first intake to the first squad. But the intake was terrible, with lots of crap players. So unfortunately I quit with this save. I just really like the idea of this club (the owner was throwing money at us for fun!), but a squad full of 15 and 16 year old kids, on the highest level of Poland...that's not gonna work. Maybe I'll try it again, if I can get them promoted again. But I think I'll wait until FM25.
Popular Post Ron_Swanson
Stal Stalowa Wola - Poland - Fortuna I Liga New journey begins. Just bought FM24 recently and this edition gives me the opportunity to finaly try this challenge with my hometown team so I couldn't resist to do it Took a while to get them promoted but here we are. The club has a really good facilities for Polish standards. Built just few years ago, PCPN has a complex of training grounds and a stadium for 3764 spectators It's one of the most succesfull teams in Polish 2nd tier (but only 4 season in top division sadly) - here's the historic table at the end of 22/23 season: Squad for current season looks decent, but we have a few issues. Some of the key players were loaned from another clubs and now once they're gone we lost depth especially on both sides of defence. One transfer was already arranged, a rather average striker, but what hurts the most they sold Bartosz Pioterczak who is considered as a best talent of the club and is a regular in first team in real life. The league we're in has a rule that you must have at least one U21 player on the field and an award system based on number of minutes for U21's throughout the season and we don't have many quality youngsters yet.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Fútbol Club Casa Estrella del Benfica - Season 2031/32 (Season 8) - Lliga Multisegur Assegurances Squad | Transfers | Finances We keep taking steps towards the top, and while we finished 2nd again, we did beat Inter for the first time! Sure, it was on pens, but it was the cup final, so I'll take it as a win! We have also narrowed the gap down to 9 points, so we are inching closer and closer. Interestingly they did lose a league game this season, but not to us. Surprisingly, it was to Lusitanos who finished last and got relegated. Something to do with complacency I'd wager. At any rate we keep slowly improving, and hopefully can actually get in a title fight with Inter soon, but next season is probably too much to ask. Though we did have a fantastic youth intake this season, so I think we can improve next season too. Copa Constitució Protecvall: We beat Carroi B, FC Santa Coloma, and Mavlon to reach the final. There we beat Inter on pens after a crazy game. We were 0-4 down at half time, but bounced back to 4-4 and took them to pens. There they missed the first pen and we scored all ours to clinch it! Supercopa Andorrana: Before the season started we lost to Inter in the Andorran version of the community shield. Europa Conference League: We beat Icelandic side KR and Neftçi Baku of Azerbaijan before we lost to Adana Demirspor of Turkey in the 3rd qualifying round. Best players from the academy: José Antonio 31a - Amazing season on the right wing and a major part of our attack. Quentin Riviere 30a - Our 1st choice striker had a crazy season scoring about a goal a game! Arturo Tejada 25a - The 3rd part of our attacking trident also had a great season. New club records: Most goals in a season - Quentin Riviere 30a - 25 goals Most league goals in a season - Quentin Riviere 30a - 22 goals Most goals in a match - Arturo Tejada 25a - 4 goals Most goals in a league match - Arturo Tejada 25a - 4 goals Most assists in a season - José Antonio 31a - 17 assists Most Player of the Match awards in a season - Quentin Riviere 30a - 6 awards Most league apps - Sergio Coll - 191 apps Most league goals - Abdourahamane Abdou 25b - 83 goals We got some more improvements done this season. I simulate from 12p.m to now and Hutnik Kraków with 25 reputation not get promotion It's random, but a weighted random based on the clubs reputation. So if the club has very low reputation compared to other possible teams, you can reload for days. I reloaded in England to get a team I wanted once, and I had 6 or 7 possible teams and only saw one around 400 reloads since they had low reputation compared to the other teams. I had a look in the database and here are the possible teams in Poland (rough reputation as it can change over a season, but not much) Spoiler Team Reputation Sandecja Nowy Sącz 3850 Chojniczanka Chojnice 3750 Skra Częstochowa 3550 GKS Jastrzębie 3250 Stomil Olsztyn 3250 Pogoń Siedlce 3000 Kotwica Kołobrzeg 2750 Stal Stalowa Wola 2750 Radunia 2750 Wisła Puławy 2500 Olimpia Elbląg 2500 Olimpia Grudziądz 2500 Hutnik Kraków 2500 KKS Kalisz 2400 Polonia Bytom 2400 Garbarnia Kraków seems to be in the 4th tier, so they can't be promoted into the 2nd tier in the base game. Hutnik Kraków looks to be one of the lower reputation teams, so they are among the teams least likely to go up. I would assume the 6 highest in that list would show up often.
