Popular Post WhiteCat33
Woohoo Barbados is in the World Cup! F*** Barbados is in the World Cup... And Yup its of course against the only other competent team on the island Ahh Barbados almost forgot what fun I've been missing with your shenanigans. Beating them in this league game isn't super important as NACL qualification is through the cup. That game has a 50/50 chance of being after the WC. Feels bad rooting for Barbados to not do well... Popular Post OTron
Holyhead Hotspur (Wales) - Season Update 2025/2026 Despite pre-season fears of relegation we manged to avoid the drop comfortably in the swashbuckling style demanded by the board and finished in 8th place. Incredibly we won the Welsh Cup after facing 2nd division sides in both the Semi-Final and Final. This means we have been entered into the Europa Conference League First Qualifying Round for next season where I assume we will get smashed as the Welsh League is rated as the 3rd worst in Europe. Spoiler League Table Youth Candidates The board did approve one improvement to our Youth Recruitment Network but rejected every other request to improve the clubs facilties. This improvement led to a slightly better intake but we are starting to need new defenders badly. Spoiler Squad With our first choice GK and Central Defender opting to retire at the end of this season I have blooded their replacements towards the end of the season but it's a huge drop in quality. We have plenty of decent attacking options now but I am crossing fingers for some great Defenders and GK in the next intake. Spoiler Finances Despite our finances being ok the club is not approving any further improvements to facilties or allowing me to get another coaching badge. Hopefully the Europa Conference League will being in some much needed funds to improve the youth setup but I'm unsure on how much money it will provide. Spoiler Transfers No transfers. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Vítkovice - Season 2025/26 (Season 1) - Fortuna národní liga Squad | Transfers | Finances Wow! Czech out the start of my journey! Ok, ok, I just had to have one pun on the name, let me have my small joys! But the season did really go well for us. It started good, if a bit wobbly, as we won and drew every other game for the first part, but then found some form. Going into the winter break we were in comfortable 5th spot and in the fight for a playoff spot, or with an outside chance of a title. The 4 other teams that were at the top were Fastav Zlín, Vyškov, Zbrojovka Brno, and Sparta Prague B. The latter can't get promoted, of course, so it was essentially the 4 of us who were fighting for the title as well as two playoff spots for a promotion playoff. Going into the final match, just about everyone had a chance. We were 3rd, behind Fastav Zlín and Vyškov who faced each other. To win the league and be directly promoted we had to beat Táborsko, that much was clear. But we also needed either Fastav Zlín and Vyškov to draw, or for Vyškov to win by two goals LESS than we would beat Táborsko with. A win for Fastav Zlín and they would be champions. Table set? Good. Now, we did our job by winning 3-1, but this meant that a win for Vyškov would also be enough for them to take the crown. Luckily for us, Fastav Zlín and Vyškov drew 0-0 and that put us up top. An incredibly tight league with 5 teams within 3 points at the end! But we are going up and champions! MOL Cup: We beat Tachov and Uničov before we lost to Bohemians Praha in extra time in the 3rd round. Yeah, won the last 5 while a few of the other teams struggled. I was hoping to get into the playoffs, but guess they couldn't deal with the pressure! I am expecting us to struggle this season though, so it might not be my last brush with the 2nd tier yet...

Popular Post Thebaker
Table | Squad | Transfers Another season of mediocrity where the team started ok with too many draws and not really getting the points they should before a mid-season dip when they met and were outclassed by the top teams. Finished by being outclassed by those same teams at the end of the season. Finances stay the same and the board still refuses all requests, the lack of a reserve team is really frustrating as is the u19's not being in a league (teams a lot lower down are so i don't know what drives this) I finally lost patience with Omar's poor performances and got rid of him even though he was rated my best player. Jensen also left after becoming backup. Pettersson (101 apps, 9 goals) was let go after initial promising performances, had produced nothing in years. My players have shown signs of improvement but not as much as i might have hoped or expected. Gustafsson has improved hugely from 1 star to 5 and is now my best player even though his personality is average and his performances from 162 apps(134 starts) only 6.61. Keymer also has 162 apps (141 starts) with an average of 6.96 but has barely improved at all, he could be maxed out very early. With Lai declining Tahiri showed good progress at CM. Babatunde is another to play well but showing no improvement in his attributes. The youth preview and intake were slightly disappointing with none of the player really looking that good. Svensson and Haraldsson were the better players. Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 10 (2033/34) League 2. Despite selling our best player Danilo Russo 04a for £2.8m during the summer, we hit the ground running and never looked back, finishing 2nd and sealing back-to-back promotions with a few games to go. Cups A good FA cup run saw us reach the fourth round where we lost to Premier League Sunderland (getting 2 players sent off did not help...) Players Tom Grant 05a (AMR/ST) stepped into the shoes of the departing Danilo Russo, he's not as prolific but still very good, and with the team improving overall he did enough. The main thing is that after going professional and a couple of facility upgrades, players are developing fast so several players went from VNL to League 2 level within the season. Marc Madsen 06c (DL/AML) was key, notching up many assists and some goals playing as attacking wingback and winger, and Ralph Snow 08a (DMC) finally added some solidity to our midfield. Youth intake (preview): We are leaking money like crazy thanks to our exceptional coaching and recruitment but the intake was impressive - only two elite talents but lots of depth and lots of CA. I signed almost everyone, and Ronan Richardson 10a (DMC) will go straight into the first team next season. Facilities/Finances Ok, so I didn't realize we would be spending £250k a month on the youth set up after going pro, it's a bit much... Still, the sale of Danilo Russo allowed us to upgrade training facilities before we ran out of money again, no idea what will happen in the future - I guess the board might start selling our players for peanuts, I'll try my best to avoid that. Popular Post mpm2342
I decided to jump into the youth academy challenge after watching the thread as I took the Gibraltar Lions to the Champions League Trophy. You can check that out here: I will bring some of the same charts and spreadsheets to this save, but will adapt to a youth view and will post on a season by season basis. I am looking forward to learning more about player development on this journey. I have selected Northern Ireland as it seems to be an interesting challenge. I rolled the season forward a few times and the only two teams to come up were Belfast Celtic and Crewe United. Just to make things even more interesting, I have chosen to go with Crewe United: Crewe United play at Crewe Park right in the middle of nowhere Part of the fun of doing saves is to learn about the team, it's history and gain some attachment. The club website has a nice bit of history about the grounds: https://creweunited.com/developing-crewe-park/ As you can see below, Crewe has average academy coaching and very poor everything else. That sort of lines up with the development history, but gives us a bit of help for the youth players. Introducing Finn Donahugh who has a suitable name to coach in Nortern Ireland and that's about it. The squad has plenty of players and a few younger ones with potential, They are all NIR players, except one from Tunisia . I am going to start out with a fairly simple tactic since the team by and large has no concept of technical football, so will be a work in progress for sure. The best lineup is as follows (using a rating system based on theFFM spreadsheet). I will likely switch out some of the older guys for younger players if we can stay clear of relegation. I created a table of the average ratings by position and squad for each division to use as a guide for progress. Based on the Lions save, winning the Champions League is possible once the squad was better than Championship target and close to a Premier league target. The table is based on taking the average of the top x ratings for the position across all teams in the division. in this case x equals 1/2 of the number of teams in the division, so for the Northern Ireland Intermediate division, x = 6, for the Premiere League, x = 10. This is not scientific or anything, but gives a good idea of where the squad stands. As you can see, Crewe United is fairly poor by the standards of the NI Intermediate League. Drilling in a bit and we can see the team is ok in attack and GK, but very weak in defence and midfield. Hopefully, we can get a few in the youth intake. The club at the start:

Popular Post jrobertgordon13
St Lawrence Spurs Update 1* - 2040/41 *I had previous updates, but this is the format from now on so I figured I would restart the numbers from here on out. Squad & Transfers: We had our previous GK, a great prospect by the name of Nathan Farrugia leave to Marsa, so that left a bit of a gap. Clint Abdilla was my previous GK, however now he’s very outdated for the level we need to play at. League We had our worst season since heading back up, so that’s not fun Cup We’ve only gone and won the bloody thing! Youth Intake: Forgot to take a screenshot of the CA but if I recall the best is a 2.5 or 2.0 star CA with a 5 star ability. It’s getting to the point where I can’t rely on myself getting 4 star CA players from the intake anymore. History: We made the Conference League once, but besides that it’s been very mid table with not much variation.

Spoiler Cup Performance: ...however, it resulted in a defensive disaster of a cup final. The second WC Group Stage game was 2 days before the cup final and between the travel and getting demolished 4-0 by Norway my defenders were not ready for a fully fit and 3-week rested BDFSP. FM truly wanted to crush me giving me hope of taking it to extra time with our 33-year-old striker Christian Clark coming off the bench to equalize in the 90'. They turned around and got their 4th in the 93' to win 4-3. This means in 2068 we won't play in the NACL. There is an outside chance that we will get the bonus Caribbean slot (happened once before). Spoiler North American Champions League: Caribbean Zone: No problem here as we held a fully clean sheet against 3 decent and 1 easy opposition. Spoiler Caribbean Playoff: We leveraged our sizeable home advantage to go up 3-0 in the first leg and then coasted in Martinique against New-Club. [Traditionally, MTQ isn't your biggest threat but they got a Tycoon takeover 10+ years ago and have built one of the best teams in the Caribbean] Spoiler NACL 2nd Round The draw was cruel pitting us against the back-to-back reigning champion Monterrey right away in the knockouts. They handled us easily in Mexico winning 3-0 with 5 shots on target showing how lethal their strikers are and how much work defensively we have to do. I opened up and went for it in Barbados and we had a thrilling 3-3 second leg. Same story of any chance they got 1v1 with my center backs it resulted in a goal. Spoiler NACL Final 3-Peat for Monterrey and 17th NACL title during the save. They are the dominant team in North America right now. Spoiler NACL Tournament Tree: Guess we can feel good about scoring the most goals against Monterrey? They only gave up 1 more goal the rest of the tournament. Spoiler Reserve & U18s: Both win titles without trying that hard. Squad: CA Player List: I have a spreadsheet that calculates Current Ability and Role Ability (though this is less accurate). Team has some stars and lots of chaff that I've been clearing out this Spring / Summer to bring up any 17/18 year old with an ounce of potential in him. Spoiler Excel Graphs: The clearing out of the team is very obvious when you see the big drop-offs in the player counts. It will be a few seasons till these are meaningful again. Also the excel file could use some work, so they'll look better in a few seasons. Spoiler Interesting to see there is a meaningful uptick in CA Average of players who made an Appearance for us. I truly think this is due to clearing house with the massive amount of 2* players I had floating around at the club. Current Team Tables: I pull basic stats with my CA export to show some Top 5/10 lists that I find interesting. Spoiler Player Highlights: Transfers: The big deal this summer was renegotiating the deal for my star striker Rhys Jackson. The English U20 Striker is very good for Barbados and he knows it. He spent the entire season angry at me for having a bad team and miraculously got happy just before the transfer window started. Spoiler I pounced (and using the GM to remove release clauses) gave him a ludicrous contract for Barbados. While he was considering signing to his new 5+1 Year, $11.5M deal Everton and Newcastle put out 8.5M & 10.5M bids to pry him away. Thankfully, he didn't moan when I rejected the transfers and he resigned! Spoiler The one negative about him is he can't dribble so is really a pressing forward. Otherwise, when he is happy can't ask for better in the Caribbean. Having him at the club was a key draw to return to this save. Other transfers out are all squad players that don't have the speed to compete in the NACL or are old and not good mentors. More will leave over the summer as we prepare for the NACL qualifiers. Spoiler Head Coach: Club Improvements: We are renting our old stadium 20k cap. stadium while we do a major renovation to our new stadium adding 50% capacity to reach 45k seater status! Bridgeview Barbados has a 110k population, so almost up to half the city fitting into our stadium. Spoiler We are rich for the Caribbean with 43M in the bank, so it was very easy to accommodate this upgrade with a mix of cash on hand and a 12M loan. Spoiler Youth Academy: I'm so rusty I screwed up the screenshots and importing of data for the youth team. It was a bad intake so not a loss. HOYD: Youth Intake Preview: Spoiler Youth Intake: Spoiler Top 3 Players: Spoiler Excel Tables: Barbados National Team: I spoiled it a little above, but the WC did not go well for Barbados. There is a lot of work to do to build up the nation for the biggest stage. Qualification wasn't too pretty, but the 1-0 win at home against Haiti is what sealed the 2nd place finish in their qualifying group. Spoiler Road View Internationals: Main: Spoiler Youth: Caribbean International Performance: WC Group Stage Jamaica got the RNG luck to go top of their group of Draws with DR Congo and Belgium. No other Caribbean teams qualified. from NA Mexico, Costa Rica, & USA advanced Spoiler WC Knockouts: Jamaica won their 2nd round game against Cameroon 3-0 to then get knocked out by Mexico 3-0 in the 3rd Round. Mexico's run was to the semi-final where they lost 2-1 to Argentina. It was then a South America final of Brazil vs Argentina that went all the way to penalties crowning Brazil Champions. Spoiler Summary Certainly, was a first-season back where I made some major mistakes that cost me the Cup (rest those players!). Nothing I can do with the NACL draw pitting me against the hardest team. Tactically I did okay, I just need better CDs to match up against them. Luckily, I have 2 "high" potential 17-year-old CDs who are moving into the first team for next year! On average they are shorter than the players they replaced but are quicker. Obviously, both have a lot of improving required, but they have the potential to hopefully make it. I don't expect them to be ready next year, but in 3 years I should be hitting a good peak with only an old GK (35). Popular Post Neo_Geo
STEADY FIRST SEASON FOR PACENO My excitement for this save has been curbed somewhat by a lack of playing time but the first season has confirmed that this is the type of save that I want to do at this time. I was surprised at how the first season went as it was fairly apparent early on that survival was likely and promotion play-off very much a possibility. The squad had 1 goalkeeper, 1 right back, 3 centre backs (one can play left back), one left back, 2 central midfielders, 3 right sided wingers, 2 left sided wingers and 3 strikers so we had a full complement when fit and available and whilst the fixture list was never that hectic there were a few injury crises over the course of the season. Platense (HON) were just too good for us and were responsible for dishing out 4 of the 6 defeats we had this year (11 goals against and 3 goals for in those games) but it was very reassuring to see that Platense (HON) won the promotion play-off so it means we faced the best team at this level this season and whilst we were beaten comfortably many of the games occurred when we had missing players. In the cup competition we made the first round after making it through the qualifying round and we played the highest reputation club in the country who were also crowned as champions this year and we only lost 2-0. The main concern just now are the finances so I have to hope that the intake will be good enough to get us up into the top division within the next 2 seasons or we get a tycoon takeover! League Results Domestic Cup Results Youth Intake I can't recall the last time I had As for every position we had a player in the intake but that's what the intake preview gave me this year. It was nearly a perfect score of 16 elite talents but only one was classed as a top talent as the intake day overview did not disappoint. Here are those 15 Elite talents: Nicolás Reyes Y1-A Jonathan Ávila Y1-A César Castillo Y1-A Luis Gónzalez Y1-A Francisco Pérez Y1-A Orlando Reyes Y1-A Christopher Guevara Y1-A Kevin Mejia Y1-A Mario Osorio Y1-A Luis Bernárdez Y1-A Pedro Cárcamo Y1-A Santos Moncada Y1-A Marlon Martínez Y1-A Eduardo Atala Y1-A Víctor Flores Y1-A To say I am excited by Nicolas Reyes and Jonathan Avila is a huge understatement as both are head and shoulders above what I currently have in central midfield and in goals respectively. Reyes' personality isn't ideal but his technical skills are excellent (16 first touch and 14 technique) so to get him in the door from the first intake is great. There are a lot of players on the wing so I may need to look to retrain a few for central positions so that I have enough cover but there is enough balance for the 4-2-4 Wide formation that I play just now and will probably continue to play next season. This intake arrive just before the play-offs took place so I thought I was going to get a huge boost for our chances of getting promoted but then I discovered that the registration of players cannot be changed any time you want and youth players do need to be registered so it meant having to see that talent sit out of my match day squad for the two matches against Real Juventud. Some of the players were a little off with the contracts where I had to offer a youth contract as when I switched to full time I couldn't get them to agree. Club News A tough first season as far as dealing with the board was concerned. First of all the coaching badge course was turned down whilst we had around £20k in the bank, then the next time I was able to ask for this we were in the red so financial reasons were given for this not being sanctioned. The board also refused to improve youth recruitment the two times I had asked and I didn't bother asking about junior coaching as its sitting at 14 already. It's hard to see this changing until our financial position improves which I think will require us to get up a division and stay up (finishing in the promotion play-off nets £51.5k minimum and if not in the relegation play off its £43k compared to the £25.5k we were given for finishing second this year). Admin (Transfers) Squad News I've managed to get the players I want to keep on new deals but there is very little wiggle room as far as the wages are concerned and the deals are largely 1+1 so I might have some bother at the end of Season 3. A few of the original cast will be leaving in the summer as they are already not good enough given the intake and the only reason they were around in the first season was for numbers. With the youth intake top prospects included here is the overall view of the squad. All time records sheet is here for completeness, there isn't really an awful lot to show given I was unable to play any of the intake due to registration rules: Here are the profiles for the fans player of the year award winners; Kevin Oliva and Nelson Davis Here is the "How You Lined Up" screen: Bingo Card This bingo card required a bit of creativity as there are only 2 divisions, 1 domestic cup and 2 continental cups so I had a number of blanks to fill in. First season sees 4 marked off the list:
naterr
12 hours ago, mpm2342 said: I decided to jump into the youth academy challenge after watching the thread as I took the Gibraltar Lions to the Champions League Trophy. The club at the start: I loved following your Gibralta save so I look forward to this one too!
FootieLu
So one of my bingo targets has been met but it’s by a new gen youth player who was part of the 2023-2024 intake that happened 2 month before I took over the club Do we count that?

The bingo card was just an idea of having some kind of intermediate measure of success rather than completed the challenge or was sacked, so there are no hard rules around it. If it’s a regen I’d say it’s fine as some have renamed regents from the first season as Y0 and depending on the target met it’s possible you’ll get another player to meet that target in future seasons. Popular Post WhiteCat33
15 hours ago, mpm2342 said: Love all the charts and graphs WhiteCat!!! I am a big numbers guy and track everything. It is fun trying to think of different ways to represent the teams and you are doing a great job. Thanks! Last cycle I really got into exporting data out of FM and slowly built-up my analysis. Shame I flubbed the Youth Export (and was tired) so you didn't see the most relevant part of my YAC spreadsheet in the update. I love tracking my academy's progress, and having data helps me from making snap judgments on HOYDs / Youth Staff that I feel are failing at finding youngsters. All those team-graphs in the Team section of my update were originally designed for the intakes to track the + / - movement of the 3 key player attributes (Professionalism, Ambition & Determination). Check out this FM.Stats if you're interested in a long read. TLDR in Spoiler: Spoiler The most efficient development comes from 15 Prof & 15 Determination, levels above this threshold do improve player development, but at a lower rate than the improvement above 10 & 10. Also Ambition, while it does improve development, is at a lower rate than professionalism. Coupled with how hard it is to hold onto players in the YAC with high Ambition, sacrificing Ambition is actually an optimal strategy for both development and retention. By sacrifice, I mean looking for levels around 10 as below 10 you get negative modifiers on development. This save I was interested in ambition and instead of my usual prioritizing of professionalism at all costs. Thus, Model Professional is the best personality for a HOYD / U18 Head Coach. However, when I got the reputation to find my "forever" HOYD I went towards the Model Citizen. This shows up in the data with noticeably strong Ambition levels for intakes [when I cross compare it with other long-term saves]. I did this knowing that it will be harder to generate professional players, but would give me a more diverse player group to make mentoring groups actually a decision process instead of plug and play professionals of each position group. Also makes the payoff of actually convincing your stars to stay (both my LB & STC are Ambitious) that much more sweet. Utilizing hidden attribute ranges based on the Personality + Media Handling I am able to set range-values for Prof. and Amb. (the average of which I show in the team-sheet). Using yearly conditional sums of these average-values I can then chart over time the changes in the mentality of my intakes to evaluate the efficacy of my HOYD in finding not just high potential but also "smart" kids. As I tend to play long saves in small nations (St. Vincent, Malta & Luxembourg in FM22 & 23) I really care about the top 5 CA players each intake as that is 90% of my long-term players. Here for Barbados you can see my average top-talent peaked quite early and has been maintained an average in the 40-60 range since the 2030s. Of course I rely on those outlier 1% players who blast up above 60. It's with depth of intake that the recent progress of club reputation becomes evident. Its only in the past 10 years that more than half the intake has been 36 CA or better, which opens up more opportunities for developing reasonable squad players. I will be relying on 4 of these guys in the coming season. Determination is straightforward, but the Top 10 personalities is important. Combined with the table below you'll see I switched from Fairly Professional to Model citizen in 2047, so naturally Fairly Professional is the top good attribute. What has risen is Mercenary, Fickle & Light-Hearted, which are all linked to higher Ambition HA. Still even with focus on good attribute staff you can see with the Positive Personality %s how low it really ends up being and how many players are just Balanced/Unambitious. This is why holding onto those few great personality mentors / old men who improve to Professionals is critical to fix these flawed youngsters. (IMO this is a great realistic mechanic in the game, as we shouldn't be able to generate gobs of professional players). Something I've wanted to add but didn't is to track the progress of the facilities and reputation of the club. This would then set ranges in the data to look at how the facilities have improved intakes (or not). On the list to finish before I start a new save. You can see that Barbados has been generous with Goalkeepers. This also doesn't include 2 poached GK, one of whom is the 3rd GK for England currently. What has been interesting is many of my best players (strikers especially) aren't on this list. All 3 strike legends for the club developed from a lower part of the top 5 intake players. Ugly but I like seeing the full piechart of what 40+ intakes has generated for us with player personalities. Thanks for indulging my nerding out on data! I find early retraining works so well, that I don't really care about formation etc. Please copy away! I'm glad to share with a likeminded player. If you want to take a look directly, I put all files up on MediaFire this winter: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/z6k77x3z9wj9z/WhiteCatStats. I'm using an updated version of the "Road-View CA Calculations" file for the YAC. The WhiteCatStats spreadsheet I developed when doing an attributeless moneyball-style save in the MLS is also in there. For the HOYD my priority ranking is: 1) Personality + Media-Handling, 2) Preferred Staff Role, 3) Working with Youngsters, 4) Style of Play 5) Reputation, 6) Judging Ability & Potential, 7) Formation 8) Scouting Knowledge + Adaptability. I'll share my reasoning, which is all IMO and from my experience so please prove me wrong if yours (or others) contradicts me. 1) Duh Personality, but its more the HA levels not the specific personality per-se. People overlook the Media Handling, which can give you very big indicators of how professional a staff member is. In the spreadsheet go to the "Personality+MH" sheet to see all the ranges I pulled from online. If you have updated ranges please let me know as these are old and I don't have the editor. The two I always look for are Evasive and Reserved as they set your minimum Prof. to 15, which is the #1 thing you want from your HOYD. For Determination really 10 or better is all that matters, I will always choose Professionalism over determination. 2) I put a lot of weight in the staff role, specifically if they are 100% a HOYD and not a Head Coach you've pulled in. In early games of small nations usually this gets sacrificed to hit good numbers in the other spots because your pool of staff available is low and they are unskilled. Endgame there shouldn't be a reason to not have a HOYD in the role that fulfills these requirements. 3) I think Working with Youngsters is more important than is given credit for. If I was to change HOYDs in my save this would be the reason why as I don't like how he only has a 15 WwY. Finding a 20 here I think makes a big difference especially for the first HOYD who will have trash in JCA/JPA. I haven't done analysis on this, just my experience playing. 4) The style of play (Fluid-Counter-Attack, Geggenpress etc) is very impactful as it sets the archetype of player the HOYD looks for. IMO you want to avoid the defensive ones even if the HOYD is stellar in every other point. 5) Reputation maters somewhat both of your club and the HOYD, and as I move up as a club and look for a new man to find my youngsters I always look to upgrade this at least half a star. 6) Might seem strange I rate JCA/JPA so low, but honestly as long as its 13+ I'm content if I'm getting everything else I want. Bigger countries you can be more selective, but small nations this is the easiest thing to concede on to get what I consider the more important elements of a good HOYD. Better Personality always trumps better potential. We've all been there when you get what would be a perfect youngster but he's "Slack" and just is a glaring disapointment. 7) Formation effects the number of each position you're likely to get. It's nice if they match, but really isn't a big deal if they don't as you might just have to retrain more. Again, losing some efficiency thus lost potential to prioritize better personality/fit. 8) Scouting knowledge only matters if they know your country perfectly or not, as far as I know the nationality & foreign knowledge of your HOYD doesn't impact intake nationalities. If you bring in someone who knows nothing of your country with low adaptability expect at least 3 years before they start properly finding players in your country. Then you have to wait 3-4 years till you see those players in intakes. With high adaptability within a year the HOYD will fully learn your nation so you cut down that delay. A lot of smaller nations will almost exclusively generate their nationality unless hard-coded to do otherwise. Here is my save: Barbados, as an ex-English colony, will generate a handful of dual-nationals each year. Its possible the USA players are impacted by my nationality in the game, but really I think its just a likelihood from the region. I have a ton of Jamaican and other Caribbean coaches both in the youth team and one of my old HOYDs was Jamaican, not a single one in 40+ years. Hope that helps! Popular Post XaW
XaW - Vítkovice - Season 2026/27 (Season 2) - Fortuna liga Squad | Transfers | Finances We survived, and with a nice gap down to the playoff spots too. Turns out, the best teams in Czechia are rather good, but the bulk is something we can handle already. So while we got the occasional thumping by the likes of Sparta Prague, we also showed we can hang with the rest. Now, looking into how the Czech top league works, it is easier than it can appear, but let me go through it. First it's a double round robin as normal and after 30 matches, you can end up in one of 3 types of deciders. The top 6 go into the Championship group where they play each other once more to settle the top 6 spots. The bottom 6 go into the Relegation group where the bottom team is relegated and the two above it go into the playoff against teams from the tier below. The middle 4 teams go into a playoff semi and then final where the winner of the final face of against the lowest rated team that could get a European spot in the Championship group and the winner gets a spot in Europe the following season. Easy peasy! So we ended in the Relegation group this season, and thus we faced the other teams in there, but we did well enough to finish 1st in that group and stay away from relegation. So another season in the top flight at least! MOL Cup: We beat Vrchovina, Vysočina Jihlava, and Opava before we lost to Sigma Olomouc in the quarter final. Popular Post OTron
Holyhead Hotspur - Season Update 2026/2027 Domestically another season with us predicted to finish last in the league saw us defy expectations and finish runners up and earn me Manager of the Year. But in Wales there is TNS and then everyone else. TNS finished 30 points clear of us and had the title wrapped up in January. It's going to be a long road to beating TNS. In Europe we beat Lithuanian side Zalgiris and Irish side Bohemians to reach the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Europa League. We were then soundly beaten by Czech side Banik Ostrava. The run in the Europa League yielded some much needed funds that saw the club upgrade the training facilties plus both Youth Recruitment and Youth Coaching. Spoiler League Table Youth Intake The improvements to the youth setup led to a better youth intake and some badly needed defenders. Centre Back Rhys James goes straight into the centre of defence as a star player at the club which is fantastic but we are going to need a lot more players like him in the intakes. Spoiler Spoiler Squad The squad some more depth now but is severly lacking in quality in many areas. We need to improve the youth intakes to try to catch TNS and to make any kind of meaningful progress in Europe. Spoiler Finances Even after the money spent on upgrades there's still a good amount of money in the coffers. Spoiler Transfers No transfers. Popular Post Neo_Geo
FINAL DAY AGONY FOR MUNCIPAL PACENO AS ANOTHER YEAR IN LIGA DE ASCENSO BECKONS I knew that the 16 team play-offs to get out of this division was going to be hard but what a rollercoaster it was this year. A much better performance in our own group saw us top Group A with an 8 point gap and make our way into the play-offs for a second season running. For the first time in a long while I finished with less than a goal a game conceded which undoubtedly helped us to the "title". I changed the formation to a 4-2-3-1 and went positive rather than balanced and the tweaks definitely helped us get some better results (the refreshing thing is the teams in my group changed from last season so its not going to be that stale whilst trying to get out of the division). Then the play-offs started and its 2 games a week which did not sit well with our squad because the first choice team is substantially better than the second string and when we came up against Marathon and Juticalpa we did really well in the first leg before getting spanked in the second leg. The joy of the semi-final shoot-out win was followed up by a 4-2 win against Juticalpa who had only lost 1 game during the normal season and 4 minutes into injury time they scored a goal from outside the box to win 5-2 and gain promotion to the Liga Nacional. I can tell these teams are better than we are at the moment and in the cup we lost to a Liga Nacional team once more so chances are we'd be straight back down again. From a player perspective it works well to just build our quality up over a few seasons but financially we are in a bit of a mess. The focus this coming season has to be to bring up the experience of the squad as a whole to cope much better with the harsh ending to the season. Having to get through 4 two-legged knockout rounds to get promoted is going to feel like a mountain but on the flip side only one team goes down and even if you are bottom through the regular season be it through bad luck with injuries or suspensions etc. then you always have a chance to stay up with a further 2 matches. Our average attendance increased, season tickets up and record attendance also broken so it's perhaps not all doom and gloom however I'm not sure I'll be in a position to keep giving contracts to all of the intake each year at this rate. League Results Domestic Cup Results Youth Intake Another excellent intake this year with the preview containing another 5 positions with an A grade and this time the intake produced all elites. I am definitely taking this with a pinch of salt as the elites from last year have started to show their true colours over the course of the season so in no way do I believe we have an actual golden generation. Here are those Elites: David Martinez Y2-A Isaac Castillo Y2-A Henry Rodriguez Y2-A Kevin Velasquez Y2-A David Ramos Y2-A Rolando Tabora Y2-A Nahun Bonilla Y2-A Edgar Garcia Y2-A Oscar Rivera Y2-A Orlando Figueroa Y2-A Victor Mejia Y2-A Allan Garcia Y2-A Miguel Cruz Y2-A Marlon Alvarez Y2-A Jorge Hernandez Y2-A Luis Ramirez Y2-A Without a doubt David Martinez Y2-A looks to be a player with a whopping 20 determination! Lots of wide players once again and this time a few defensive minded central midfielders which helps balance our my midfield. Nationality wise its straightforward, another 16 Honduran players: Club News Nothing to report here as our financial situation is stopping any kind of investment being made either for my own badges or for the youth recruitment. Admin (Transfers) Squad News I've let some of the original cast leave as they just aren't good enough compared to the youth players coming through at their current ability and I have plenty of depth to allow them to leave with my blessing. Here are the player records for the first season involving my intakes: Here is the squad as it currently stands. Bingo Card Just like @XaW with his bingo card I am making the same diagonal progress (with so few divisions and continental cups I had to get a little creative to have 100 targets for this!)

Scraborn
In 2032 Maccelsfield is still a mid team in the VNN. But in this years intake I found this gem. Yeah he cant jump but he can score as he had a brace in his debut against Maidenhead. I think I use him as my new advanced forward. I try to beaf up his strength a bit and give him as much gametime as possible. This one is my first three star talent in an intake.

Yeah, I had to mix it up a bit to fill out the bingo card myself, so I guess that's what happens when the clear goals are down the diagonal line and the more obscure and random ones are out to the sides.

Restart the game and refresh the skin when you restart, that should show it. I had it happen for me once too, and that fixed it for me.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2047/48 - Premier League Wels Win 3rd League Title, Make Champions League Last 16 League: We were great again, absolutely dominating the league stage. But once you get to the championship group stage your points are halved so it;s never a forgone conclusion. And to be honest, we pretty much just held on to win by a point! Champions League: The big one! We were much better, competing really well in the league stage. The last 16 we got Inter who compeltely outclassed us. We've still got a way to go! players Our best two players, both strikers 9n my 4-3-3 formation:- Paul Alhaier 40A - really fast and skillful striker, no idea how he hasn't played more than 4 times for Austria Fatih Heco 38A - Our most consistent goalscorer, 63 bosnia caps to his name, another fast striker with great finishing and composure to boot. One of my favourite players The Third of my front 3 is Mika Dampfling 44A, winner of the NXGN top 50. He's not quite as good as the other two just yet but hopefully will be Youth ooo, a youth preview with two A grades! The intake was ok, at this stage any elite talents are really good! Badzinski looks the best prospect. Nice personality, good starting technicals, ok determination. Physicals are the only issue Career
Popular Post Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2047/48 | Serie A The start was very hard, we had to play against all big teams within first 10 games while both our goalkeepers were unsettled by Inter (no idea why, they had two backups of the same level). It went a bit better than expected – at least we avoided the relegation zone, but finding good form wasn’t easy anyway. Meanwhile Juventus became the first team in 20 years to take the trophy outside city of Milan! Coppa Italia So far we can’t get past third round, but this was surely the closest try. Squad stats C.Sardelli *38a – set our new best average rating for Serie A. L.Annunziata *37a – finally one of our strikers managed to score more than 10 goals. B.Corsi *40a – not as great as he was last season, but he doesn’t leave the club anymore and earned a new contract (a really huge one, more than 60k per week but we need to keep the best players here!) T.Ferrara *38f – was mostly a backup during the season, but I gave him a chance after Rosaia had a poor run, and he didn’t concede at all in last seven games (we played against outsiders, but it’s our all-time best defensive run anyway)! D.Amata *40k – quite impressed by the right-back who wasn’t among the top prospects in his intake but has the highest playing time and one of the best ratings now. G.Sabba *30a – our captain is retiring after playing 550 games for the first team. Transfers – sadly Duka, who looked like a top prospect at arrival, didn’t develop at all. Youth intake (preview) Diop *48a | Ciardini *48b | Ruggeri *48c | Iacono *48d | Otelli *48e Diop can become a good full-back, but certainly needs to improve his pace.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Vítkovice - Season 2027/28 (Season 3) - Fortuna liga Squad | Transfers | Finances A really good season for us, where we avoided the relegation group, got to our first ever cup final, and even getting into Europe through the most backdoor of backdoors. So no reason to complain! Another key thing for us is that we are now finally transitioning from a lot of the original squad, so only the best ones are still important for the first team. I got rid of a lot in the summer, and even more will leave at the end of this season. All backup spots are youth players, as are many first team spots, so we are heading in the right direction. The season itself went very well, as we were safely lower mid-table for the entire season and the main goal was to not be bottom 6 after 30 games to avoid the relegation group. Which we eventually did. So we headed into the playoff stages where we beat out Slovan Liberec and Hradec Králové over two legs to go into the playoff for an European spot. Here we faced local rivals Baník Ostrava in a single leg decider. We smashed them, also helped by a red card for them just after half time, but we were up by 2 goals already. So we are heading into the European Conference next season! We also had a very good run in the cup, but Sparta Prague proved too good for us, even if the final was a close match. So overall a very good season, and I hope the next will be even better. MOL Cup: We beat Blansko, Příbram, Bohemians Praha, Ústi nad Lebem, and Slovan Liberec to reach the final, there we lost to Sparta Prague to finish as runners-up. Best players from the academy: Antonio Marcijuš 27a - Our main striker already, and while he started slow, he came leaps and bounds over the season. Are now making noise about leaving, but I have him on a long term deal, so I intend to keep him. Ondřej Plánička 26d - Is becoming a really good player for us in the attacking part of midfield. Petr Janoušek 27b - Turning into a rock in our defence and I'm very happy with his development. New club records: Most league goals in a season - Antonio Marcijuš 27a - 16 goals Most league apps for the club - Ondřej Moučka - 165 apps Most league goals for the club - Ismaël Dao - 33 goals Didn't get any more requests for improvements accepted this season, unfortunately. Popular Post The7Striker
Club Deportivo José Gálvez 2025 Season Finances Transfers Squad Liga 1 Apertura Clausura Playoffs Overall Table A fantastic season, in which we stayed clear of relegation, and even achieved the historic feat of qualifying for the Copa Libertadores. Liga 1 has a similar format to so many others, with teams playing each other twice, the difference being that the first round is called Apertura and the second round, Clausura. After that, there is an overall table with the aggregation of points and a playoff to decide the title if the winner of both phases is different. The team showed quality from the first game and kept improving, resulting in first place in the Apertura. We came down to earth at Clausura, where Alianza Lima were once again dominant and we finished in a respectable 4th place. We faced Alianza in the playoff, where they were clear favorites, yet we finished 2nd in our first season and qualified for the Libertadores. Didn't get any improvements accepted this season, not even a coaching course. Under 18 - Like Liga1, the season is divided into an Opening Stage and a Closing Stage. In both of them we were completely crushed, finishing in last place. Youth Intake Not one of the best previews ever. An area we need to improve as soon as possible. With the money from the Libertadores, maybe the board will allow some improvement next season. Edited August 2 by The7Striker
Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 11 (2034/35) League 1. Another great season, we started where we left off in the league 2 campaign, and despite some injuries which led to a rocky season finale we managed to hang on to top the table with a modest 85 points. So after years of hanging out in the Vanarama leagues we suddenly have 3 promotions in 3 years. Players Tom Grant 05a (AMR/ST) really carried the team this season, it felt like everyone else was basically there to defend or assist him, hope he can keep it up in the Championship. Youth intake (preview): Another great intake ability-wise, but another year of very poor personalities. Not really sure what to do here, I got a model citizen U18 manager in charge of the intakes and a ton of professional staff, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Facilities/Finances Still spending £250k/month on youth coaching, but we got a nice boost with an FA cup 3rd round tie away to Man City, and £450k in appearance bonuses from last year's sale of Russo to Bolton, which actually gave us a good surplus for a few weeks in January, and the board agreed to spend it to upgrade youth facilities. dkouv
Quick question for everyone: I got a model citizen U18 manager and a fairly professional HOYD, so I put the U18 manager in charge of the intakes, but the personalities keep being poor. Do you think putting the HOYD in charge of the intakes can improve the personalities because somehow he'd have a bigger influence on them than the U18 manager (even though his personality is not as good in general)?
