Popular Post XaW
XaW - Fussballclub Biel/Bienne - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - Raiffeisen Super League Squad | Transfers | Finances Another season pretty much like the last, and that's perfectly fine at this stage. We are still finding our feet at this level, and as long as we stay up, I'm happy. The club is improving as a whole, and the youth intakes seems to become better and better as I get more improvements accepted. So the future looks bright for us. Now we just need to continue what we are doing and then slowly push up the table. It's clear the main issue is that we concede too many goals. Looking at the xG table, we conceded 18(!) more goals than we should have, so I don't think it's tactical, just a lack of quality. The issue is that my goalkeeper should be good enough, and indeed he is one of the best players at the club, but he still concedes on average a goal a game over xG! I have no idea why he does so bad, but I don't have any options to him right now... Let's just hope this season was a fluke for him, and that he will come good soon. Popular Post Riebow
KSV Oudenaarde (31/32) League A more mediocre season that the one before. The top 6 and the championship group were never really in play, neither was relegation. We finished 7th in the league stage and 2nd in the Second Phase. Croky Cup Another quarter finals, but again we were unlucky to have to go against Anderlecht. We were no match for them. Spoiler Youth Intake Not a good intake, very low in CA and bad personalities. I'd expect better considering the improvements to our facilities. I still have the same HOYD, but so far I haven't found anyone better so I'm sticking with him. Spoiler Harrison Martins (LB; Balanced) The pick of the intake. A nice left wingback would be nice, as we're very weak at that position. Spoiler NXGN The legend of Jacques Schrauwen continues as he finishes 2n in the NXGN list at age 17 Jacques Schrauwen The good news is that his minimum release fee has expired; The bad news is that he still wants to leave. With one year on his contract, it's paramount we sell him during this off season. Spoiler Transfers Nothing in; nothing out again; except for some loans Spoiler Facilities We've had some money; so we invested it in the training facilities. Spoiler 5 Years ago... Again a very average intake. Only Michael Akumu and Quentin Rondeau are regular starters. Some of the other players are still hanging around in U21's. Spoiler Next season. We need to sell our best player, Jacques Schrauwen, and that will dramatically worsen our team. I'm hoping to invest the money in some better facilities and hopefully we can get some better intakes.

Popular Post russ the womble
Toledo Season 2 In the second season we were pretty competitive in the league, finishing outside the playoffs on goal difference. Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 36/37 - Premier League Finally! Wels have a good season in the Premier League and Qualify for Europe! Yep, we finally did it! A season away from a relegation battle! Our team is potentially very strong and an extra years experience seemed to make all the difference. We were nowhere near title-challenging form but we consistently hovered around 4/5th spot. We went in the championship with a real chance but struggled a little more when we got there. Still, a 5th placed finish isn't too shabby and it puts us on a European adventure next year! Youth We're very close to having the best youth set up in the country so hopefully we'll see that reflected in the intakes. This years was a good start! The preview wasn't anything to write home about But the intake was hugely impressive. The switch to a professional HoYD really seems to have paid off with some cracking personalities coming through SIX elite talents is pretty, pretty good! Jake Barrett 37A looks the best. I tend to rate my intake on personality above all else, just because it seems to be the best indicator of who will make it or not He might switch to a winger/inside forward. I haven't decided yet! Popular Post XaW
XaW - Fussballclub Biel/Bienne - Season 2027/28 (Season 4) - Raiffeisen Super League Squad | Transfers | Finances Now that's an unexpectedly good season for us! First of all, we got into the top bracket at the split making sure we were way clear of a chance for relegation, but we also ended up on 5th, so we are heading into Europe next season too! Granted, we are still way off the best teams in the league, but at least we are closing in on them now. That said, we are nowhere near a sure thing for the top bracket next season, as we can lose against anyone, but also beat them too. Having so many young players, inconsistency is not surprising, so it's just a matter of not getting to high expectations yet. And with a superstar in the making in midfield, I love this team now. Hopefully, we can continue to grow and bring in better and better players, and also start getting in that sweet sweet European money in order to continue improving the club. Also, Bytyqi 27a came 8th in the NXGN this season! Schweizer Cup: We beat Düdingen, Red Star, Baden, Luzern, and Grasshoppers to reach the final. There we narrowly lost to Basel, in a closely run match. So close to an epic cup win, but alas, not yet. Best players from the academy: Ivo Sebastião 25a - Now our first choice left back, and you know how much this position matters in my tactic. And his attacking contributions are a much needed boost for us. Kubilayhan Baydilek 26c - Is slowly starting to become the rock in our defence. Also a real threat from set pieces due to his prowess in the air. Kreshnik Bytyqi 27a - Last, but not least, our superstar in the making. Playing as the attacking of the central midfielders, he is showing how well he is developing as well as contributing a fair bit. New club records: Most Player of the Match awards - Ivo Sebastião 25a - 6 awards Most league apps - Anthony De Freitas - 225 apps Most league goals - Ydris Regaïa - 57 goals Highest transfer fee received - Stefan Schweizer 27k - £15k to Luzern Oldest goalscorer - Anthony De Freitas - 33 years, 356 days The board didn't accept any improvements this season. I personally do A, B, C and D to denote the rating i.e. elite, top, good, decent, I used to put the actual rank in the name but it gets a bit messy. Some do Y0 for intakes in the season prior to taking over and some, like myself, do the year of the intake. There’s no exact science to it and you don’t even need to do it. I like including the rating as I means I can look back in later years to see those that were thought of as an Elite (A) and how they ended up.

Out of nowhere, we have gained promotion back to the PL after 14 seasons back in SBC. We sat top two pretty much all season and tried out best to blow the chance after being 10 points clear of 3rd with a dreadful run in March But we went unbeaten for the last games of the season and luckily Southampton also drew on the last game of the season giving us automatic promotion on goal difference The season started with a great 10-0 win vs Ipswich, our record win We have broken the record for the record goals in a season which has stood since 2062/62 for overall and 2095/96 for League Quadri Yusuf. doesn't look anything special and really low value but he knows where the back of the net is! So in 2027, the best one will be 27a, the next best 27b, etc. It's interesting since the assistants can get things very wrong, so anyone with a letter far into the alphabet will be an undervalued one, and I find this fun to follow. 52 minutes ago, Neo_Geo said: Me seeing @Riebow and @XaW with NxGn entries in fewer seasons than my Northern Ireland save… To be fair, I'm in Switzerland and you are in Northern Ireland, so I do have a big advantage. Current Youth Prospects Spoiler As I'm now a few seasons in, a few youth have now started to come through and claim their places in the first XI, including some great attacking talent. We are still light at the back though, so need to hope for the new youth to maybe progress there. Need to get some of the youngsters to commit to a few more years But team is looking pretty solid. Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Season 11 I haven't posted for a while as there has been a bit of a motivation hit. The save is great but we are currently unable to field many players in the league final, I know the league isn't part of the challenge but when you finally get to the final and have to field your reserves it is slightly annoying... more on that in a bit! Superleague 3 losses to start the season wasn't ideal, but after the third game (and a bit of angry team talks) turned things around. We then went unbeaten until the next year. Finishing the league in second place and feeling confident going into the playoffs. Semi Final against Jamshedpur was pretty straight forward - but then a final awaits against Kolkata. However....there seems to be annoying time glitch with the save. The final is held at the same time as the Indian National team have youth games....8 of my first eleven were called up and we had to rotate the entire first team to find any players to play the game. We got destroyed, they could have scored 10 probably! Cups Preseason cup we got to the Semis, nothing exciting there Super Cup - We got knocked out of the group stage, we got the same points as the team in first but Jamshedpur were picked randomly to win the league - meh! I assume "Randomly" means they bribed them with a bag of Haribo and some Sunny Delight. Youth Intake Crap...utter crap! None of the players look any good, but most were signed up as we pay then £8 a week. Team of the year Gurung had another great season, his speed is so useful, but luckily he is still with us in the Purple! (colour of the shirt, not a euphemism). I think I need to power through until the team are a bit older so they don't get called up to the U23's, but that could be a while! Slightly frustrating but I guess the challenge is for the champions league and not the league itself.

Try Northern Ireland where if you finish in the top 2 you end up playing league, league cup, local cup, national cup, spfl trophy and europe and then you lose 15-19 players for international games that you either play with grey goalkeepers as the u21s take both your keepers or postpone and if you postpone you get to play 4 games in a week
Popular Post russ the womble
Toledo Season 4 Season Performance Spoiler Another shot at the playoffs and only 1 point off top.. After beating Logrones in the semi final I got absolutely thrashed by Majadahonda in the final Best Eleven Spoiler Youth Pulls Spoiler Not too bad but a lack of defenders again. Finances Spoiler Dreadful state of affairs - The club has now gone part time so I can't offer new contracts to players as they instantly reject them. I think I probably needed promotion to get out of it, but stuffed it at the last hurdle. Edited July 3 by russ the womble

Just wish I could get the players to stay for the biggest match of their careers instead of an U23 qualifying match

Popular Post darren1983
Dulwich Hamlet League Two Season 2030/31 Review League - A "what could have been" season really. We started well for the first time in a while, only losing 1 of our opening 10 games but then we got hammered by injuries. We had 3 separate players with broken ankles, another 2 broken foots, a broken leg, a fractured spine and lots of 3-4 week muscle injuries. No idea what caused as a lot of them were in game injuries, however it killed us. At one point we had only 1 fit CB and our entire midfield 3 missing for 6+ weeks. Was crazy and obviously happened during the winter months where there is a game every 3 days. As said, lost 1 of opening 10 then in Nov to middle of Jan (with the injuries) we lost 11 in 15 then only lost 3 times for the rest of the season. Ended 11th but with a bit more luck could have been much higher. FA Cup - Made it to the 3rd round but game was towards end of our crazy run and we were on empty so a loss was expected. Still yet to have a big 3rd round draw though. League Cup - Still yet to win a game in this EFL Trophy - We did finally win a game in this, on pens at least, but didn't even score this year. Was a rough draw with 2 league one sides away from home and Arsenal though Transfers - Loans out, not sure I see any of them developing enough to break into the team Squad- Like I said, injuries killed us but also lack of goals really. Last seasons league top scorer Greene had an awful season but then he did have 3 separate month long injuries & his backups are not great. The real concern is defence. 3rd worst in the league despite a keeper with the 4th most clean sheets. If I can sort the defence out we should be competing at the top of the league. Youth Intake - The preview promised a CB which we need but we only kind of got. Now I finally fixed my mistake with who brings players in I'm hoping for better next season. Kemar Griffith 31A - the CB we were promised. Man I wish CBs could head the ball Vaughan Nicol 31B - could be a keeper for us. Chris Abdulsalam 31C - need to work on miss mentals but the makings of a decent ST Career Overview Season League Position Junior Coaching Youth Recruitment Notes 2024/25 VNLS 1st Good Average Promotion, Manager of the year 2025/26 VNL 10th Good Above Average First coaching badge 2026/27 VNL 2nd Good Above Average Promotion via playoffs, Manager of the season, second coaching badge 2027/28 L2 10th Adequate Above Average 3rd coaching badge 2028/29 L2 12th Good Above Average Continental C Licence obtained 2029/30 L2 15th Good Good Continental B Licence Obtained. Thebaker
The team had another season of struggle and the team ended in the relegation playoff. 3 down in 8 mins of the 1st leg led to a 4-2 agg loss and relegation. Even so i was surprised to get the sack with the board believing the team had underperformed when they started the season as 250-1 for the league and predicted dead last. I have restarted 1 last time in Sweden with Halmia who have decent facilities for the level although a small and limited squad in some positions.
Popular Post Padders
Season 140 - 2162/63 - PL First season back in the PL It was always going to be tough, this was the first game, 2-0 up Then concede 6 goals in last 21 mins We also broke our record for our biggest defeat And especially loved this result Southampton hadn't won all season in the league then a nice roll over by us The away form was embarrassing However we managed to stay up with 10 wins and 34 points Edited July 3 by Padders

I love when a very average looking player (particularly strikers) come along and just excel. They might never be a world beater but they’re dependable. I have an AMC like that in my safe, his potential is limited but he can score in Northern Ireland just fine. Cheers. Yes had many of them over the years when the wonderkids get pinched by the bigger clubs
