    Good question. Looking at it, my biggest doubt is how the women football world will be integrated. The nation currently as the men football nation means that nations, cities, local regions will change, so that's a nice one. Could set me back in a few projects as well.

    This is the map for the Americas. For Europe that map is still developing, likewise for Asia, Africa and Oceania.

    Players signed from free transfer is something I can see happening. You might call them walk-ons. Free transfers signed from a different teams or with a fee is unexpected.

    It's different. I have a newgen name that comes back regularly and I keep an eye on him as he is usually a great player to poach. I have seen between 2 and 5 cm in height gains for that player.

    That's why you need to clean up teams (lots of work), but also are advised to change eligibility rules and time to gain nationality.

    There is no way to fix this in your save unfortunately.

    You are mostly correct. If you only set the three player limit for the matchsquad for your national competition and cup matches, the game will say, OK, so I can play players? Sure, but I will make sure I still have all the best players I can get. You can still end up with 6-10 foreign players that way. That's why I also set the 3 player limit for the complete squad. This works reasonably well, but also needs you to clean up squads. Otherwise the players just get stuck in their teams.

    The competition is also Soviet, and it will look at the teams that have Nation Soviet. It doesn't matter if the teams are based somewhere else. Then it will see the various foreign players, check against the non-foreign nations you have setup and will see it is OK. Fact that Jokerit is in Finland is no issue here.

    Aha, the KHL You can set Finland, Belarus, Kazakhstan etc as treated as non-foreign. That should do the trick.

    Turns out the pneumonia earlier this year and my 2020 condition were connected. I have regular blood checks for some medical research I am taking part in and I got a mail this week that the pneumonia wasn't pneumonia, but Covid. Incidentally I likely have had Covid again last week, but things have normalised again the last few days. Somehow I wonder that when I finish this Iron Curtain project, Covid will suddenly decide to leave my body.

    Yes. In competitions in general the competition rules will be set up with a home-stadium setup. Setting that to neutral should be doable. One thing I would do in such case is add stadium rules with minimum seating and such, because otherwise you risk having Man City vs Man Utd end up in a stadium for 500.

    That's not an issue. It's just that we have rules against multiple accounts on the forum.

    The one thing I am expecting to see is that the difference between men and women game will become more visible with correct filters and such. One thing I am waiting to see what is going to happen is with nations, as they are currently used as a nation team and a country. This will have to change (if it doesn't it could mean extra nations though ) But, as you can make up from my expectations, I know nothing more than you do.

    I was digging through one of my external HDs and I knew I had some flags somewhere on there. Unfortunately, you can lose things on those HDs There are a few flags I might consider for the Historical Divergence though, so I will post some flags I did for the Americas (unless they are crap ) This was the flag I came up with for the Virgin Islands.
