OlivierL
After 2.5 years playing a 4 3 3 i have found a new challenge in editing my 4 3 3 press to a 4 4 2 ( 4 2 2 2) gegenpress. I want to play with two strikers this year so.. i'm ready to start. Let it be 9/11 soon please. Not decided where i'll start. Reading everything here is giving me ideas but also a lot of doubts. England, Iceland, Belgium... not sure yet

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur - Season 2027 - Úrvalsdeild karla Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, seems like the difference between the tiers are not that big. With the exception of Akraness, who ran away with the title, we were quite good and finished just outside the European spots. I think we might have a chance of qualifying for Europe next season if we continue as we finished. Financially we are still in the red, but we are losing less than before. So progress, I guess. We are building a new stadium though! Thanks for the grant government! Deildabikar: We finished 2nd in our group behind FH. We did finish ahead of KR, HK, Vestmannaeyja, and Tindastóll.Bikarkeppni karla: We lost to Akureyrar in the 3rd round. Youth intake: Two really talented players, and a nice group of others. A lot of Unambitious people though... A nice and versatile player I expect to play a lot for us going forward. Quote U19s: They only played friendlies. Daddy
Preview time Top three are areas I can use strengthening so that's good. At preview time we're hanging around. Not setting anything on fire, but I expect to survive the season. Getting some of the young players first team playing time as the legacy vets are not producing.
Popular Post jstu9
The Magic Season 5! Promoted! Do the happy dance! We went 31 matches in a row without losing from last season into this season. Once we reached first place, we never let it go. We did do a little hiccup near the end of the season to keep things interesting. We just needed a point from the last game of the season and came out with a 3-0 win against the last place team to earn promotion! Royal AM and Cape Town Spurs were keeping it interesting. We scored 64 goals and truthfully I'm not sure where they all came from. Everyone pitched in. My #1 goal scorer was a central midfielder. I still don't have a striker who scores, but I have a few decent possibilities. I got a 2.5 star striker in the youth pull, so we'll see if he can develop. Another nice looking youth pull. The only problem I see is players just don't develop in the U19's. I think one player has developed there, everyone else has been decent enough for me to play them in the 1st team. Hopefully I can get some money now that I'm in the Premier League and get my debts down and sort out my U19's and training in general.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Vanarama National League North 2031/32 (season 10) Season Summary Sixth time lucky! we got promoted through the play-offs! League - 2 defeats in our first 4 games was followed by one of those runs where you're not happy about the way you're playing, tweak tactics here and there to try and improve it and then suddenly notice you've actually gone unbeaten for about 15 games. Trouble is, that run co-incided with the cup competitions which meant we were always behind everyone ele in the league in terms of games played. The other problem with cup runs is it knackers your players out so when those periods of 3 games in 7 days came along I was screwed. For some games I just played anybody who could walk. So I never really noticed us beign anything other than 7th or 8th all season Then at the end of the season we won our last two games and somehow leapfrogged into 2nd, which was a bit of a shock to be honest. I'd resigned myself to 5th or 6th as a best case scenario! So, straight into the semi-finals and with a home advantage too! First game was against Chester who had just been promoted and were overperforming in the league, and who we'd just beaten in the league. It was a closer game than I'd liked but we managed to squeak through 1-0 The final saw us play at home against Guisely, who finished 3rd. One of the reasons I was so surprised we finished 2nd was that Guisely had beaten us at home when there were only 4 games of the season left, so I assumed we'd blown any chances of a high finish. Luckily they imploded in the final couple of league games, and managed to keep that up in the final because... A penalty and an own goal see us through! I'll take it! FA Cup - So part of our mid-season problems were down to or cup run. We beat eventual league champions Boston and National League Grimsby to head into the 3rd round draw for the second time. I was hoping to be drawn away to one of the big boys and we were drawn away to league 1 Rotherham. Not quite the windfall I was hoping for but the run still got us a nice 300k or so. FA Trophy - got to the QF for the first time ever! lots of replays though, so lots of extra games I could have done without. Players The first team is getting younger! I finished the season with 2 new youth pulls straight into the XI. I had a nice intake this year! Justin Stevens 28A - that was more like it from one of my key players! 30 goals in 45 games, now 20 and an international player as well, he's going to be so importnatn next season Michael Gallagher 24A - A revelation as a BBM, getting a lot of goals and assissts. He'll be our most experienced player next season. at 24! Gareth Savage 27A - His determination finally reaches double figures! turning into a really reliable DC now Youth So here is where it gets really exciting! My nice cup run, league position and bank balance made the board so much more amenable to my whining. They ended up giving me and Exceptional youth intake before the intake arrived. So what does an excpetional youth intake and preview look like in the VNLN? like this! My best intake ever i think! 12 elite players, 10 at 4 star potential and at least 3 that can (and did) step straight into the first team. Pick of the bunch was... Both of who went straight into the first team for a few games. The average age of our team next season is going to be stupid! Finances and Upgrades So the finances are ludicrously good for this level now. I might finally be able to emply some staff beyond the skeleton crew I currently have! The cup runs meant the board happily gave me some more upgrades which is insane for the level of football I'm playing. It should make progress up the leagues a lot easier, especially if I can now focus on upgrading the training and youth facilities. Not a bad season all round! The only bad thing is our stadium is stuck at 3500 and the council won't approve an extension to it. So that will be interesting to see how it's reolved in the coming seasons. Career So realistically I'm looking at just staying up next season. The national league seems to be a mch bigger jump than it has done in previous games. We'll see.

Popular Post Mr U Rosler
STALYBRIDGE CELTIC Season 1 = National League North Season 2 = National League North Season 3 = National League North Season 3 Certainly a much higher points return than season 2, we hit but could not retain a playoff position, whilst I feel we should be able to bridge the points differential to the play-offs over the next season or 2, securing 90 points to win the league is well out of reach. Our intake 2 midfielders are progressing nicely and combined with our intake 1 striker remain our best hope of improvement, but essentially the players we started the save with 3 years ago are still our best by some margin in most cases. Still there is talent and always hope that collectively our youngsters can bridge that gap given time. There isn't much of a sense of progress at the moment. Hope I need these 2 to kick on. Intake 3 This was ultimately a disappointment with no one forcing their way into my first team plans yet. Still, we our filling out the under 18’s and under 23’s nicely and have strength in numbers to call on should we lose players to injury, or worse lose them to other teams. Season 4 preview I’d like the play off’s. More hope than expectation. Seeking further improvements from my young first team players. I’d like a good Goal Keeper and Central Attacking Midfielder in my intake. I'm not settled on a tactic yet, but a Match Engine change is due on full release anyway. Watson156
Season 5: Mid Season Break Chertanovo Moscow | Russia Premier Liga | 2026/27 League Table | Squad | Results As we head into the mid season break, you can see we're currently sat in 11th place. While it's a decent position to be in, it could and really should be much better than that. We didn't start the season very well winning only 1 of our first 3, but we did bounce back to go 8 games unbeaten. I would be feeling a lot better about those results if we hadn't thrown away 2 wins against Torpedo Moscow & Arsenal Tula, who we battered both games but didn't take the numerous chances we created and then conceded in the 90th & 89th minute. We really have to be beating teams like Nizhniy who are poor, yet we only drew with them. There was a very good win against Lokomotiv Moscow and a decent draw against CSKA Moscow, although we conceded another 80th minute goal. Overall looking at the upcoming fixtures were looking ok. Realistically we probably wont beat Lokomotiv, CSKA or Spartak Moscow towards the end of the season, but there is no reason that we couldn't be undefeated against the other teams. We wont! but the squad is good enough to be turning probable loses into draws, and draws into wins. Oh! Were also into the 5th round of the cup. We will play National Division team Yenisey which is a good draw for us and should we win that we will play either Zenit or CSKA Moscow!! Squad wise it's ok. Iljin in goal is superb and is nominated for Young Russian Player of the Year. Kosarevskiy is having a fantastic season, it's a shame that neither Darbinyan hasn't been able to be as dominant. Left back is a bit of a revolving door. There is either a complete lack of consistency so I decide to go with Moriyasu as he's going to be the better player, or one of them gets injured! Lyakhov has been above average at Right Back and thankfully hasn't missed too many games as Vaniev isn't quite ready for a lot of 1st team games. Our midfield is pretty stacked as a whole club, and it's already starting to prove problematic. With the starting ages of my midfield 3 of 16, 19 & 18/24 its hard to see where my young talented midfielders in the Under 18's are going to get their chance. Wingers are a massive problem for me. They seem to have 1 good game in 5. I'm playing around with roles and options to see if I can get something to work. Up front Ibara has scored 10 in 16 which is pretty incredible considering he didn't score until our 6th game! He has now asked to move to a bigger team, but unless somebody offers good money then he's not leaving. He's contracted until 2030 so I'm in no rush to sell him, as Semakin (also asked to move to a bigger team) and Dmitriev haven't looked very good in the chances they've had. The last bit of potentially good news is that Carlo Soldani is having a very good season and because of that there are some BIG Italian teams interested in him. If you can remember we've got 50% of next sale coming to us, so lets hope it's a big deal that takes him to Italy. Preferably it would be after he has played for Russia, as that would be £1m coming to us as well!! He hasn't been called up to any recent squads but one can dream!

Popular Post fries
Vanarama National League 2025/26 (season 4) Season Summary After last years promotion, I though we would fight in the bottom of the league but we started great. At New Year we were placed 7th. But then I was hit by the famous bad form... However I was never in danger of relegation and ended up on the 14th place. My defence was great. The 5th best in the league as we only conceded 43 goals in 46 games. But my attack was lacking. We only scored 39 goals and only two teams scored less. In this season two of my youngsters developed into some what first team quality, Calderwood and Armstrong. They had the highest and second highest combined goals and assists, with 7 goals each and respectively 8 and 7 assists. Thus they were shared topscorer with my striker Main. 7 goals for a topscorer is not impressive... I dont think I have ever experienced scoring that few goals. My four best players are still my goalkeeper and 3 defenders. No wonder my defence is good and my offensive is bad. For the first time one of my player was away on international duty. Armstrong was called up for N.Ireland's u19 internatial team. He is bad physically and technically, but he is a smart guy and I hope he will continue to develop. My preview of the youth intake was a bit disapointing. 4 and a half stars but only Es and Fs. I was worried of what to come. But wow I was suprised. Only one who was not an elite talent. And some of them went directly to my first team, Osmani, Rathbone, Davidson and Unsworth. Osmani got his debut a few days later and broke the record for the youngest player both in my club and in the league. A few days later he again broke the record for the youngest goalscorer both in my club and in the league. And again a few days later he broke the record of the youngest player to retrieve a red card, if such a record existed... I made of course no transfers. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade junior coaching and youth recruitment so they are now exceptional. That is very impressive for such a small club, however it is also a bit expensive. I also upgraded my youth facilities to Adequate. The upgrades was between the preview and the intake. So I dont know if it affected my intake? Financially it was a expensive season and I lost over £400.000, but the balance is still £200.000. I hope I soon will get able to upgrade my training facilities. I am currently working to get the Continental A Licence. Edited November 6, 2021 by fries
Popular Post Rizz0therat
Spartans - Season 3 Transfers - Youth Intake - Manager Profile Huzzah! Promotion. The season was a constant battle againsn't East Fife which they eventually won, but our luck in the playoffs was much better this year. Clyde managed to beat Sterling Albion who are coming down from League 1 and are a bogey club for us, whereas our record agains't Clyde is good and we won 2 - 0 over two legs. We had a great cup run again, knocking out Hamilton from the Premier League, but then drawing Rangers at home AGAIN in the fifth so missing out on a big pay day for the second season in a row. Our youth intake this year wasn't great, but we did pick up a better backup goalkeeper in Jack Ross 25D, another decent striker backup in Liam McMahon 25A which is making me think I might have to start going with two up front, Joshua Smith 25B is a determined winger, and Fraser Kerr 25C could end up being a decent DMC. Ryan King 24A is a beast now, I'm sure he is going to be a future Scotland international. He already has no interest in a new contract though so I might have to offload him next season. At 16 he broke the assist record with 20 assists this season. Everyone of my badge requests has been approved first time at this club which is odd, they do want to focus on youth as a philosophy though. The_Gato_In_Goal
Panachaiki - Youth Intake - March 2024 I do think this intake looks more impressive than it actually is. Lots of players with decent CA and PA, but keep in mind the current first team is not very talented and most of these prospects have poor personalities that I don't necessarily expect to lead to development. Will consider getting a new HOYD after this season, since the amount of Unambitious players are less than ideal, although I guess it'll make it easier to keep the players around and away from bigger clubs. Spoiler Spoiler Dimitris Plastourgos (24c) is the standout, who I will slot into the first team as soon as he can sign a professional contract. A Perfectionist personality is wonderful and his crossing and dribbling are advanced for a wing back of his age.

I really dislike that shared youth team thing in Iceland, so I'm having my own protest against it! KR got promoted back up for the new season, so they will be there for the next update. Popular Post OlivierL
This is my new sheet for youth intakes and senior team calculates: Updated this with DNA attributes on the front 'page' and using the same colours from our attributes page. And included average to get a faster idea how we are improving (or not). After tagging them and exporting their attributes, i'll sign everybody that : *Has a neutral or positive personality or *Scores +50 on DNA average attributes or *Scores +40 on attributes average or *Determination +10 All the others won't be signed. Those minimum numbers could increase if our reputation , level and youth intakes increases. This all starts from my DNA attributes. for me the most important attributes to play Gegenpress & passing game and the thing i want to see from a player. In a youth only challenge we can influence the youth intakes a little bit to get the right players with DNA attributes but most of them needs to be trained. I'm using the below list to develop them. Daddy
Final Table: Hovered around 15 all season. Once safe from relegation, focused on youth players to get some experience. Youth Intake: Insane potential from this haul. Really hoping some of these guys step up quickly. Moved on from five legacy players that were too old or not good enough. Upcoming Season: Little less confident going into this season. The first season youth players got some time but no one is really advancing the way I hope. With no money coming in there's no improvements to facilities. Current stadium below league standards and no money to expand their own.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur - Season 2028 - Úrvalsdeild karla Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances A strong season, and we keep improving. Thanks to the cup win, we are heading into Europe next season! The new stadium should be ready for the next season, and I hope that helps the financial situation. And the European competition should also help there. Deildabikar: We finished 2nd in our group behind Fjölnir, but ahead of Valur, HK, Víkingur Ó., and Haukar.Bikarkeppni karla: We beat Kórdrengir, Þór, KF, Grótta, and Akraness to claim the trophy and qualify for Europe! Youth intake: Ugh! This was crap! No need to show any of these. Quote U19s: They only played friendlies. Popular Post WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere Belgian Pro League A - 2030/31 (Season 9) Final Match We had a great regular season at RAAL with an exciting conclusion: It's the final game of the season and we have to win to make the EC II playoffs. We have been in a bad run with a tough end of the year schedule playing all top teams with this being no exception. KV Kortrijk, 4th placed and on a hot streak and we are playing them Away to a sold out crowd. We play okay with our usual possession dominance, but aren't making it happen up front. We go down 2-1 late in the second half. Conceding that second goal I bring on my 16 year old Phenom Striker who is exhausted having played international games and then 4 games for us that’s why he’s on the bench as no chance he could have played a whole match. And BANG offensive explosion from the team - 3 goals in the final 5 + 5! Even though Doubis didn’t score having to contend with him opened up my CAM and AMR for the goals. With this win we are carried into 6th place and qualify for the EC II post-season playoff. We gave it a shot but of course we didn’t surpass the big boys up here going 1-2-3 in the playoffs coming in 3rd. Hey at least our GD ended up neutral so we held our own up here. Season Summary Screenshot When the board expects you to get relegated, a fight for EC II is absolute perfection. (last 6 matches are the playoffs) d Finances We are 4M in debt again and will get our final 1.85M yearly payment on the Kiala transfer. I'll need to make 3M in the transfer window if I want to try for another training ground upgrade. Who to sell... Season 30/31 Best XI Overall Best XI Youth Intake Youth intake says it’s a golden generation but honestly I’m not nearly as impressed. All have high potential though so we will see. With how things have gone though only if you play them in the first team does it seem they develop at all. And none of these are ready for that. Random fact I got another Moroccan which makes 4 consecutive years of at least 1 in an intake with a total of 7. Something I miss from FM19 was if you poached a player it would show their Youth Club in their history so you knew you stole them (and it would be in the Intake message). At some point I guess they did away with that, but for me I always liked that to see where I’m bringing the players from. Manager Thoughts I opted to not sell any players this season and watch the finances plummet, but the performance shows what happens when I don't ship out my best 18 year olds. Sadly we won't repeat this anytime soon. Next year my legacies will be down to a CD and a DLP both of which will transition to impact subs rather than starters allowing me to test out some young talent. The big decision will be who to sell as everyone is starting to want fee release clauses so I only resign people with those if I really want to keep them / don't think bigger clubs will actually go for them. Sadly I expect them to come for my new GK as he's now starting for Belgium U-21. But for a 3M payout with clauses would be hard to say no.
Popular Post The Gold Guard
OFK Beograd - Year 10 (2031/32) Tables | Squad | Season XI | Overall XI Continental football baby! Just managed to slide into contention in the last few games. There were plentiful Robin Hood moments where we gave points to the minnows and picked away at the top. Need to be more consistent. Most of the time however we stood firmly. One of the first seasons in a while where I believe we had a complete starting XI but just lacking depth. This is just the end product of when my squad doesn't get torn up during winter. Next season will be a huge test with a busier schedule at the beginning. I am going to try hard and keep the squad the same but if anyone comes begging with bucks then I know we’ll quickly have to change plans back to focusing solely on the league. Transfers | Finances I try really hard to squeeze some coins out of players who aren’t going to cut it here but it’s becoming a can of sardines here with only 1 team out of 3 that play competitively. With not every player getting loan interest, it’s time to just say goodbye. I wish we could make B teams or have a working reserves team... Preview | Intake | Intake 2 Finally getting to a point now where our intakes are providing something interesting and covering a gap where we need improving every year. I have some amazing talent from front to back in this class. Also got my first British Virgin Islander product. Definitely keeping around even if they end up horrible. Notable talents include: Vladimir Milovanovic (32A) | Radovan Vukojevic (32B) | Rade Subasic (32D) | Mike Dell (32N) Healthy Crops: Bojan Jakovljevic (31A) & Vladimir Lazic (27F) My two central defenders have been amazing for me. I am going to try so hard to keep them both for as long as I can. A very young pairing but will hopefully keep on improving further for next year’s continental campaign. Sasa Vukovic (30C) Finally, a finisher again. It has been a while since I have had a player who can bang in goals and change game outcomes for me. After last year’s learning curve, I was worried I was going to get another year of that. Hardly.

Libertine13
2024/25 The start of our third season was extremely poor, we lost 5 of our 7 opening games, including a first DFB-Pokal appearance in the first round. So I changed it up a bit, ditched the kick and run style of football and tried to implement a more controlled approach. It paid off. By the end of January we were in a fantastic position, challenging for automatic promotion. But disaster struck when first choice keeper, Toni Stahl, picked up a hip injury that would keep him out for 3 months! In the time he was unavailable we only picked up 9 points from a possible 27 and dropped well below the promotion places. We recovered well once he returned and ended in 6th place. It was a good season for one of our youth products, Ali Akbulut, who had established himself as a first team regular as an attacking midfielder and he ended up with 7 goals and 7 assists in his 33 league appearances. Striker Pronichev had a much better season with 18 league goals to his name and veteran CB Matthias Rahn chipped in with 9 goals. There were also debuts for a handful in other youth products but none were able to hold down a spot in the team. If we could turn a few of those draws into wins we'll be in with a shout of promotion! We've been able to better our expected objectives each season as the board is happy with a mid table finish each season so far. Our financial problems are holding back our ability to get any facilities upgraded. Despite the poor finances so far the board did decide to give me a new 3 year contract. We also moved into our new stadium which is meant to help with the finances, so we'll see if they'll be improved upon this coming season. The December youth intake preview looked fantastic, though very attack heavy. The lack of defenders coming through could be an issue! The actual intake of youth wasn't fantastic though, a couple of decent prospect and not one player who looks like they'll get into the first team any time soon. Here's the two better prospects from this youth intake.

Does anyone know if this have any positive impact on the player? Does it improve their development? it does seem to a little. So far any of my players called up to their U19 teams have gone on to improve significantly more than their peers, but then I'm at that stage where U18/training alone seems to make no difference. The only problem is they often come back knackered and I can't use them in the first team as much as I'd like to

Popular Post libbyshuss
Vanarama National League 2032/33 (season 11) Season Summary League - First game of the season was home to Wigan, bookies favourite for the title. We smashed them 3-0. We then drew 3-3 away at gillingham and then hammered Franchise FC, the second favourites for the title, 4-1 at home. It was all looking so easy! I shoulda known! From then on we struggled to get a decent run going, with poor results punctuated by the odd really good performance. Given how young my first team were it really shouldn't be a surprise how crazily inconsistent we were. we dropped to just outside the relegation spots and managed to just about keep our heads above water. March brought a much needed unbeaten run of 5 games to pull ourselves out of danger but once there our form fell off a cliff and we lost the last 5 straight. So from a fantastic start it was almost a compete disaster! FA Cup - not a bad run but Rochdale knocked us out in the 2nd round Players It was kinda ridiculous how young this team was. the good thing is they should improve over the next few years. right? Justin Stevens 28A - he had an injury free season but only played 32 times for us. He kept flying off to Antigua for international games and coming back too knackered to play for us. a little frustrating but what can you do? Youth SO exciting having a double excpetional youth intake and junior coaching! i do need to get that youth level up though, i'm still limited on youth level 4. So, the preview was....ok But the intake was so much better than that preview would have you believe. it's almost as if the preview shouldn't be trusted! generally positive personalities, determination levels are acceptable, and a few CA that gets them straight into the first team squad. Really can't complain! Darren Smith is the obvious pick of the bunch Finances and Upgrades Not a good season. The wage bill went up with promotion and my desire to keep our best two players Savage and Stevens. The extra youth costs really took a toll as well. Without a good cup run we're going to have to start cashing in on our better prospects. Career I'll still be happy with just staying in the national league. this year it seems to be a much harder slog and I think patience is going to be key more than ever to succeeding. I'm also wary that just one bad season could spell the end as well. Luckily the board still think we're favourites to go down so I think I'd survive a reegation at this stage but it'd be nice to avoid finding out Edited November 7, 2021 by libbyshuss
Elsjorro
Cottbus 2036-2037: So, first season in the 1. Bundesliga. From here on, it's no longer a financial thing. We get loads of prize money and most facilities are maxed. So its the occasional replacement of staff and other then that we need to produce the talents. So the season started off with a very sore behind tbh. Pressolat decided, after Paderborn activated his release clause of a whopping 775k, that he rather played another season in the 2. bundesliga. The laughs are on him though, cause he was a bench-player there. So another year, another preview. It was quite allright: I could do with a decent left back and again we get a good midfielder. Im drowning in midfielders tbh. It seems what they did in FM21, allways getting a good keeper, they now do with midfielders. Intake itself: So it seems like the CA is going up bit by bit. Schwarz goes right into the first squad to develop and also Helmes will make a soon debut i think. Schumacher is a very decent midfielder and i think he will give martins a run for his money very soon: So first season in the Bundesliga. It was a hard time tbh. We really got hammered a few times (7-0 against Bayern) and with Hertha, Bayer, Dortmund we have a few teams that are way better. But i guess its allright if u dont come into real relegations problems in your first season up there: Best players: So pena is developing quite nice. 74 caps allready on his 18th. He is gonna become a legend. If he stays, because he allready doesnt want to sign a new one. Same as above. One of the better players, but doesnt want to resign. Hortnagl, didnt really develop. But he is the one making the goals:
