Palkey
Season 2 is down, and this one went a lot better. Tried to play to my good wingers early on but quickly gave up on that and reverted to a possession based system, and got a good string of early results that relieved a lot of pressure. It certainly helped having a team that never managed to play well, but I really feel like we did some good work this year. A lot of this season was marred with all my star players wanting to leave and me not obliging, the dressing room was miserable and I decided to transfer list them to get things back together. Shockingly no teams wanted these bang average players so they eventually chilled out and settled down. Its pretty telling looking at the squad that they switched off a good bit, but I had no other options so I stuck with them. But not being in a real threat of relegation was really nice, and very unexpected. So the cherry on top of it was this intake. Ivo Becers I was a little disappointed that he was a CB but really with how little my players are growing, I really needed strengthening in my back line. He is again really well rounded for a 16 year old center back, his physicals are lacking but that's to be expected. I expected little and got a pretty decent player. Jurijs Freimanis is good enough to walk into my starting eleven, and I hope he will. Not a special player or anything, but his physicals are actually pretty damn good. his only real downside is his name, he shares a surname with the detested LB from last season, as is the case in these saves, I just hope he's good enough to make me forget about that clown. And within a month of these two being signed up I get this little treat. The future is looking bright-ish.
ANGL
AS ARAPIRAQUENSE - SEASON 1 (2022) Manager Profile - Transfers - First team Squad - Finances - Club Facilities SERIE C Our goal in the main league competition was to avoid relegation at all costs, and nothing more far from reality: got an excellent streak at the beggining, winning 8 of the first 10. Used a high pressing, high tempo 442 diamond with the idea to overload the central part of the field and getting width with the wingbacks, and it has been a killer most of the season. But after that, we weren't good enough in the second group stage, so no promotion for us. A decepcion given how good the first stage had been, but a good performance in overall. CAMPEONATO DE ALAGOAS Our regional championship isn't one of the hardest, having 2 Serie B teams (CR Brasil and CSA), us in Serie C and the rest belonging to lower divisions. I consider myself satisfied with making it to the final and losing it to a higher division team. CAMPEONATO NORDESTE Another regional championship where we play - nothing to highlight here. We were knocked out in preliminary stages. COPA DE BRASIL CUPSET! The best match of the season saw us knock out the historic Vasco da Gama in first round. Anyway, the joy was limited as we were knocked out in second round. TOP GOALSCORER - Jean Alagoano (19) BEST RATED PLAYER - Jarlan (7.23) YOUTH INTAKE No players ready for first-team football, but I see a lot of potential there. Edcarlos, Cleiton, Brunao and José Caique look all promising.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - IL Try - Season 2021 - 9. Divisjon Oslo Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Quite the short little season here in the depths of the Norwegian league system. But we had a great season and got promoted as champions! 12 wins from 14 matches is a very good start to our journey. Norgesmesterskapet: N/A Best players: Inge Vestvatn - Our slow, but strong forward scored a lot of goals for us. Good finishing and decent heading made him an excellent player to have in the box.Johannes Blåsternes - A bit on the older side, but the one who controls the midfield and dictates the play for us.Hasan Libakken Østerås - The more attacking of the central midfielders. Youth intake: Very happy with that intake. Everyone has 5 star potential as expected, but a couple of them went into the first team and did well this season already. Fredrik Bie 22p went straight in a our first choice goalkeeper. And with 5 in free kicks he also took those for us, and scored this beauty: Spoiler Trophy cabinet 9. hyrule_king
We're back for FM22 , FM21 I couldn't get them past the third tier in Portugal, we go again. Football, since its foundation, has always been the most important sport in the Club. After the break with the Sports Public Limited Company at the end of the 2015/16 season by the Armando Hipólito board, the Club inscribed a team in the Lisbon Football Association and is inserted in the 1st Division of the respective Association, taking the place of former reserve team of the Sports Public Limited Company, who had been champion of the 2nd Division in the previous season. The season turns out to be frustrating, with Atlético failing the promotion by four points, seeing the neighbors of Santo António de Lisboa climb in a championship won by the team of Mem Martins. In 2017/18 the Club announces that it will compete in the Women's Football, creating a team that competes in the Division of Promotion and in the Cup of Portugal. In the youth the Club maintains teams that go from the under-10 to the under-19.

jstu9
The Magic Season 7 2028-29 We actually started the season pretty well including taking 4 points off the defending champs Cape Town City. Then reality hit and we just never got going. After finishing 8th last year I was hoping we'd stay in the same neighborhood. But we just hung out in 12th for a large chunk of the season, and were only a point from the relegation playoffs late in the season before recovering with 4 points in the last 2 games. Again, I've been trying to rotate my squad, trying to get as many players some playing time. I know that my top players will not stay so I am constantly replacing them. I think the team is getting better as the 4 star players from the first season are now 2 star players. And I am constantly getting really good youth pulls. I think alot of people are seeing the same thing in the youth ranks with players not improving. Mine don't. I need to give them first team football to develop. And I have a handful of guys who develop quickly. I believe I am down to 3 original players: Isaacs, Gclishe and Jampies. Jampies was complaining so it might be the end for him.
Daddy
2022-2023 Competition Review: Predicted to be in a relegation battle I can't complain too much about finishing 7th. Late falter to close season out leaves bad taste though as 3rd was in reach and would have been a bigger prize money. In the Swiss Cup I exceeded expectations of 3rd round by making it to the Quarter Final falling there to Yverdon, who had my number this season losing 4 of 5 times to them. The prize money I did receive was put to good use though as approval received to upgrade from adequate. All other upgrades were rejected. Youth Intake: I don't necessarily need my top recruits to be goalies but I'll never complain about having more options there. Y23E & Y23G step into first choice backup roles for me, and a few others came close. However, those positions had well enough legacy depth that I could keep the new player in the U18 team. There were two players I let go from the trial as they didn't look to ever project into a potential backup role. 2023-2024 Preview: I only lost one regular player from last season to retirement, and a few players came back from loan to step into backup roles. Unless the other teams drastically improved in the offseason I don't see why another mid-table season isn't feasible. Optimistic to be above the relegation fray.
SpS_Zen
Season 10 A successfull season with a nice run in cups. We reached 5th place in the league, it may or may not be enough for a continental spot. Rules are unclear. Some really good results in the Cups as we won the league Cup, our second trophy ! A nice run as well in the national cup. This is the first season we manage to have consistency against teams from the top 4. YI golden generation, as every season. 32a and 32b look already good enough for the first team.
BustaRaymes
#FM20 Haven't been playing as much as before because of work and a slight annoyance with this save, but here we are: Chesham United 2024/2025 - season 5 We were inconsistent all season. As soon as I noticed we were in for a slog of a season, I tried managing fitness for the important games against lesser teams. In the end we never were really in danger, but just 5 points off the drop is not a lot. Seeing as 3 relegating squads managed 40+ points it's not that bad, but we do need to improve. We only lost 2 fringe players. Squad Because of Batchelors emergence I opted for a formation with a 10. He delivered pretty well for a first season, but it also meant we had to break up Bunting and Clayton up front. Clayton had a fine season all in all, but he's also stunting Russells development on the left side. Bromage had another decent season. Adams and Clark played their first full season as first choice and did well enough, so legacy players Philpott and Onyemah are leaving. Glendons growth has halted for a bit, but Bell made a good step. Baggs played his first season and did pretty good, and Webb is developing into a leader in our midfield. As a defensive playmaker he has an important role in our build-up play and his passing % is by far our best. He could do more in terms of goals and assists, but I like him from this deep position for now. Taylor gets games because there aren't any other serious options on the right. He's talented but his CA is low. All in all, 10 goals is a good score. I might switch Clayton to a inverted winger and play Russell more though. Batchelor did good as stated above, Clayton had another good season and Bunting keeps on scoring, no issues there. Youth intake I forgot to screenshot the preview, but a golden generation was in the cards. And that's where my annoyance with this save comes from. Even after the intake, my HOYD was a happy man. I'm not. This good man, Watford legend Luther Blissett (WWY 14, JPA 12, JPP 14, fairly professional) thinks we have all the time, money and quality in the world to develop these guys. We don't, my man. We really don't. Mills-Bromage has some specific qualities but shouldn't be in our first team. He probably will be though as he's the second best AMR. Reilly has a good personality and is quite well-rounded, but rounded with 6's and 7's. Besides, never trust a 10 who dives into tackles. A bit lower down the list but based on his attributes he might be the most interesting of the bunch. Core abilities for a DC are not bad at all. I don't need him for next season just yet, but I do have hope that he can develop a bit and do a decent job. Finances This here is the crux (is that a word in English? I would say so, right?) of all our problems. We're leaking money and there seems to be no solution to this in sight. I can't start any coaching badges, let alone invest in youth development. I feel stuck and will need either a takeover or a very lucky youth pull in 1 or 2 seasons to save this save. Don't see that happening though. I mostly play youth only saves so I know how this will go; this slow decline will probably end in relegation. I've already started saves in Belarus and Slovenia as a next destination, but I'm willing to see if there's anything salvagable at Chesham first. Already in november next season I implemented a 4-2-2-2, just to get Bunting and Clayton up front again. They are the lifeline for this save. Currently in 20th.

The Gold Guard
OFK Beograd - Year 13 (2034/35) League | CupSquad | Season XI | Overall XI Oh my goodness what a rollercoaster of emotions. At one point I was about to get sacked and the next I was untouchable. We were appalling to begin with as we got kicked out of every continental opportunity we got. However a late season surge helped us stay in the top half and focus on a really good cup run. Fatigue at the start really screwed us over but we did well post-winter and new players stepped up. It was an absolute shame that we lost in the final. We honestly sh@t the bed. Early conceding, a red card. It was going to take a miracle. There was no miracle. We have to work harder next year. I can't have a repeat of this season's abysmal start. Let's try and get back up to continental contention, I say... Transfers | Finances We lost our star prospect in Vladimir Milovanovic (32A) to Manchester City and the board would not let me negotiate. I don’t blame them, that money helps out a lot for future infrastructure. I just wish we got a better deal. His brother is also looking to weave a move but I’ll do my best to keep him. Besides that, I loaned out a lot who were phased out by new blood despite how unhappy they were. I have to move on and can’t afford to be sentimental. Preview | Intake 1 | Intake 2 This intake was a bit average to be honest. Maybe the potential is there but honestly not too keen on sending players straight to the first team any more unless they are absolute freaks. Once they turn 17 I’m looking for a lower league loan move and when they turn 18 they have to basically prove themselves at our network of feeder clubs throughout Europe. I know I'm taking it for granted. I see all of the other intakes from my fellow challengers. It just hits different now when you are trying to get silverware. Notable talents include: Zoran Nikolic (35A) | Bogdan Lazarevic (35B) | Ljubisa Stojanovic (35C) Healthy Crops: Bojan Jakovljevic (31A) & Ivan Jovic (30E) J&J proved once again why they are the top dogs in the backline. Very hard to penetrate. I have some great youngsters but these two are my dependable duet. Sasa Vukovic (30C) Not as successful of a season, I expected more to be honest. Still a great resurgence towards the end when he was my only striker left. He stepped up. Maybe he suffers a bit when there is a threatening young talent creeping on his ability... Nemanja Milovanovic (31B) Definitely my best player in the team. Super reliable and going to be hard to replace if he follows suit like his brother next season. I hope he sticks around. Jovan Krmar (31D) He has been an absolute ghost so far within my squad just lurking around but he was influential when we needed a kick up the bum to get winning form again. Has been really great in my goalkeeping rotational policy. _____________________________________________________I decided to get that newgen facepack generator. From now on going to have proper faces. Just a heads-up in-case anyone freaks out! Cheers for following
Winski
AFC I decided to put my Iceland-save with IR on hold, because I really want to try this challenge in my own country. After a failed attempt with IJsselmeervogels recently (I didn't post about it, because the results were so bad that I quit after 15 games), I decided to try it again with AFC. It's a very big amateur-club from Amsterdam, with a great history. Some famous players from Holland started their career at this club.
Winski
This is the table halfway the season: We are doing incredible well! I decided to make a very simple tactic. I normally play Strikerless, and I also made a "Total Football" tactic. But when I played with IJsselmeervogels, it just wasn't working. At all. So I decided to keep it very simple at the beginning. No fancy roles, not a lot of team instructions. Keep it simple. And that's working like a charm! We even won the Second Period, so we qualified for the promotion playoffs already!! So that's also the reason why I decided to post about it here; the results are there and I'll survive the first season, that's for sure.
CardiffDragon
Cardiff Draconians 2025/26 First experience of european football and was expecting the worst but....... What a win and what a performance...... we wont mention what happened in the next round though, lets just say we were brought back down to earth.....with a thump. But the money from our european adventure has allowed us to improve our youth setup quite lot this year. One thing i have noticed and i am sure it has been mentioned before is that training improvements have been very slow so we also improved our training facilities. we are having to rent our stadium from Barry Town which is hitting our finances as well but will have to live with that for a while i think Overall a good season as we are still predicted to go down and were 800-1 to win the league, we started well but then faded away only winning one of our last 15 games, and Swansea Uni were our nemesis in the cups. But being in the top half of the league meant we qualified for the euro playoffs again which we had no expectation of doing well in at all, until...... that investment in youth paid off and we had a truly great intake, with five out of our top eight players now 16 or under. they helped us win the playoffs and we are heading for europe again!!!
Shambolic
Have been away over the weekend so haven't been able to properly start my Margate save until now. First month of fixtures as Margate boss has gone better than expected with 2 wins, a draw and 2 defeats. The win away at Dover was very unexpected and I was impressed by the gutsy display to manage to nick all 3 points. Next month sees us play both Dulwich and Oxford City who will finish near the top end of the table I imagine so it could be a tough month for us. Elsjorro
Cottbus 2041-2042 So another season in the books. The pace is slowing down as the plot thickens. More and more things are here to update. So lets start at the beginning: Transfers. Orcourse no incoming, and only a **** load of players going out on loan. Most of them have no future here, but i hope it helps them develop. So the preview. This is gonna be the last intake of Mees, because he keeps giving me the same positions. I got at least 5/6 midfielders allready that are to good to sit at the bench. Also i got a lot of wingers, so i dont need that. I need defenders. Defenders and a striker. Thats it. By the looks of it, we get at least 1 good wingback and other than that its midfielders again..... So the intake itself. I mean, the CA is not very good, but we cant complain potential wise. The fact 3 out of 4 elitetalents are, again, wingers, breaks my heart. I dont need wingers. I need defenders. I have special hopes for Lukacic. Instantly every top Bundesliga team was interested. So im edging to find out what he is going to bring us. So the season itself: Only competition, because we didnt qualify for Europe. This time, we do get European Football and its the Europa League this time. We had a pretty decent season to be fair. Dogan was the absolute dream of my team, but also Dauble and Nijhof made pretty good matches this year. Season stats: So, Dogan is the first to be capped for Germany. He came into the squad right before the World Championship. And what a championship he had: They went on to win the WC and Dogan, as a AMC, scored 7 goals. Can you believe that? So the players that did the best this year: Nijhof, i believe he is a very special talent. Really needs some more pace if im begin honest, but at 17 years he has a lot of growing left i hope. Dauble. I mean, he doesnt has the best stats i have seen. But he makes sure the job gets done. So who do we see here? Jet again, we have 2 players in the top 50 wonderkids list. Nickel got a 4th place and Nijhof is on a 7th. Not bad. Dogan, absolute beast. 1 year contract left, so we are going to lose him. Urbanski, the partner in crime of Dogan. Very decent midfielder i would say.

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 1 – 2022/23 Promotion Stage Part 2 It didn't take as long as I thought it would, but we have managed to achieve promotion to the Liga 3 in Portugal at our first attempt. Yes, we had one of the best teams in the division and some amazing facilities, but we still needed to get over the line. Unfortunately however, we didn't end up winning the league despite our best attempts, losing in the Champions Playoff Final, meaning that we've ended the season as runners-up. My dreams of getting promoted as champions are over. I hope I don't get another chance to win this league in the future, for obvious reasons. It was a sad day to have lost this match, having taken the lead in the final too. The media reaction to our promotion was wonderful, especially since the board didn't think it was possible to do so. Our wage budget did get tripled too, but I don't plan on spending £31.5K on wages unless I want to bankrupt the club. I was actually able to complete my National C Licence too, but I haven't been able to process any further due to both financial and fears I'd leave the club for bigger things. I did get given a new contract where I am being paid £125 more per week than I was before. Which is nice. For a more detailed rundown of the games we played and how we achieved our goals for the season, feel free to watch the video below. WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere: Pro League A 2033/34 (Season 12) Performance: We had a respectable 8th place finish. Defense was still questionable but better than last season. In the playoffs we were so many points off standard I didn't try and just played all my 16 year olds for match experience. Very much a mid-table performance and a long ways from where we need to be for a secured European spot in 4th-5th. Maybe switching to a BWM wasn’t quite as good for the discipline when your captain has 20 aggression, he only got sent off once though so wasn't too detrimental to performance. But we also now have a newgen with CAPs record. Unfortunately I want to unload this player but because we over pay him he has rejected multiple contracts from other clubs. Instead of getting 1-1.5 M in transfer this summer it looks like I'll be letting him go no a free next year, which bites. Facilities Ugh are you kidding me? I’ve already re-upgraded them once to get back to where they started and that was 5 seasons ago. I just re-upgraded my youth facilities last year so I guess I have 5 years to get profitable before that plummets as well? Guess they've made this more aggressive over the years. Our Financial Disaster So I can't say I've ever played a save with this much disregard for being financially solvent as a club. We stay over 1M under wage budgets and staff limits but its just impossible to pay talented Belgians who want high salaries and keep the club in the black. Also you have to understand this balance is after the club averages injecting 1.5M a year into the club to keep the account up. With this kind of situation it weirdly isn't helpful selling players, because unless we get 4M+ it just means the board will inject less money that year and we will be that much further away from European qualification. And we desperately need to make it into European competitions for the payouts. Youth Development As we have been talking a lot about this I figured I'd show my loans. They are for sure a mixed bag, but it is worth mentioning a few of the major successes. First is Marco Aramini 32b at 16 developed amazingly well out on loan having a stellar season. He is my 6'6" CB prospect so this is critical for our future. What's interesting is he's the only one in an unloaded league where the team doesn't have any coaches, is semi-pro and has bad facilities. Yet this was overshadowed by him being a star player and performing amazingly well on the field. Also at the bottom Yan Poulain 33d is an example of a player who I kept in my main squad primarily as a U-21 for the first half of the season and then loaned him out in January. He's even younger, from last seasons academy class and notice the absolute rocket his progress takes in the last few months which is when he went down to the semi-pro first league and started all the remaining games of the season. Sitting in my squad getting mentored but only playing U-21 did next to nothing for his progress, but first team soccer changed that. Youth Intake Preview: Just what I'm looking for. We are dying for a reliable CB and have yet to establish a 1st keeper We got what we needed! Our First team ready CB Xavier Meunier 34e And a 4th potential keeper with Rey. But ouch that determination and personality are problematic. Belgium Clubs in Europe: Belgium clubs are doing almost too well in European competitions. Genk and Charleroi were 3rd in their Euro Cup group stages and got bumped down to EC2 knockouts. Standard made it through EC2 group stages. So that’s 3 in EC2. Then in the Champions League Brugge finished bottom in their group, but that’s no surprise looking at it. The Italian league is the only one I don’t have loaded but I did check that all European Clubs in continental competitions will have players so they aren't empty teams. The issue is that means all 4 of these teams have gotten very good European prize money having played a full group stage in a competition. 1 CL, 2 EC, 1 EC2. To note though, no Belgium team has ‘of yet’ been successful in Europe. Maybe this is the year for an EC2 victory? Fast-forward to the end of the season: Sad for Charleroi they couldn't quite pull it off. Charleroi Playing these longer saves I enjoy seeing how the 'world' I'm playing in develops. So far we have some serious over performance from the USA national team winning the 2026 world cup and coming in second to Portugal in 2030. This summer is the World Cup so can they reclaim the title? See the transfer special to find out! The second surprise is in my league and is the emergence of Charleroi as a dominant force in Belgian football. They start as a mid-table outfit with reasonable budgets. However in 28/29 it looks like they got a Sugar Daddy because they went nuts and spent 60M net on transfers and for the next 3 years they invest heavily in the squad. Now they are reaping some serious fees selling on those players while having success on the field. They also have the highest payroll at 60M p/a which is almost double Brugge (35M) and miles above the rest of the top clubs which are between 10-15M. This makes getting into Europe that much harder with 2 teams (Brugge and Charleroi) who I have very little chance of beating with my youth talent. The other big clubs I can compete well with and at least split points evenly with. At least with this success in Europe the Pro A has moved up to the 8th most reputable league and we are getting close to gaining an additional European spot. We have finally got the talent across the positions I just need to be able to hang on to everyone. The best youth players only will sign 2-3 year contracts and are beginning to get stingy with release clauses. So I can see us getting cleaned out one summer after a particularly successful year.
WhiteCat33
I never noticed this in the loans before that these players actually "trains with parent club". I for sure didn't select this, but all of my players have it even the one at a full professional ProB side. I guess its the standard setting for domestic loans? Obviously if I send a guy to Romania he can't train with us in Belgium. If this is the case then the U-18 team has even less purpose than I thought it did.

BustaRaymes
#FM20 NK Bled didn't work out so here we are in Belarus, at the horribly named FC Molodechno-Dyussh-4 2020 - season 1 Hello boys A squad size of 14, but decently balanced. We went on a great run early on but couldn't keep up. In the end I'm very satisfied with the season, especially as we were a bit thin in midfield. Shunto is a good goalie for this level and at 32 my HOYD has maybe 3 or 4 years to find a decent youngster. Kudryashov is horrible, but the only natural MC in the squad. He's also 20 which helps with the minimum 2 U21 players that needed to be in the starting eleven. Pitirimov is a fast ML who did pretty decent as a Mezzala. Main hero: No one is really any good, but this guy gets the spotlight. At 40 his physical attributes are non-existent but as the only striker he performed as good as can be expected. Youth intake: As I rushed through the season I forgot to screen on youth day, but here we are: Love the intake, however the CA stars mainly show how bad my first team was on average. A lot of them will go straight in. Top picks: Transfers: I kind of like the look of this start of the save and I might take my time with this.

Elsjorro
Cottbus 2042-2043 So, im up to speed again. I keep falling behind with updating. Guess i like playing more then updating. So lots of potential good players going out again. Malov and Brormann will have a future with us, if i have to guess. Why Halle payed 1,5 mil voor walid Saad is mindboggling, that guy is a realy **** player. Oh my, a new goalkeeper, attacking wingbacks, attacking wingers, central midfielder. Our new HOYD is giving us some new positions, which is nice. But still, i reaaaaallly need defenders. Central ones, if i might add. Intake time: So, not to bad. To show how bad it is: Schubert goes right into the first squad. Adukor especially is someone i will keep my eye on. All Bundesliga clubs want him. Only problem is, wonderkid Nijhof plays theere. So, europe. We went on to qualify for the Europa League. So again, we had a pretty decent run. Winning 4-1 at home from Liverpool. After the groupstage, we were drawed against Monaco. After drawing 1-1 in the away game, we hammered them 4-0 at home. Unfortunate, Liverpool seemed a bridge to far and we once again end it in the 2nd KO round. Competition: So, if i would say anything: We are very consistent. Again a 7th place. So the team is really developing well. The players like Nijhoff, Urbanski, Nickel, Malov, they develop very good. The problem is the defense. More then once i loose 5/6-0 because they are really ****. Only Osei is good enough, but with 6 speed left at 36, he will be going out real soon. Some might see we got Europa league qualification with a 7th place. That because: WE WON THE DFB-POKAL. Hahahaha F ME. I FM'ed Nurnberg so hard. 4 shots on goal, Xg of 0.33 against 34 shots and 2.12 xG. It is not weird Pena got the MotM. We hammered them with penals and we can lift our very first "big" prize this game. So what happened more? Well, Nijhoff was awarded the European golden Boy. He is so good. Oh, also doesnt want to sign a new contract. But still here for 4 years, so lets go. It is the demise of Dogan..... So sad to see him go, even more sad he goes to Bayern. Crying my eyes out. But, its fine. I got replacements. But he was a real special one. Again, we have 2 wonderkids of the wordl. On a 1st place and a 6th. Not to shabby. fries
Vanarama National League 2027/28 (season 6) Season Summary A great season. After last years youth intake I hoped that the team was able to figth for play offs. And I was right. We ended up on the 6th place and was ready for play off. Suddenly all the goal scoring problems from the last few years ended. The defence was still solid as we conceded exactly 43 league goals for 3rd year in a row. The first play off game was against Bromley. Two early goals from two of the youth intake from this year. We thought it was home safe, so we started to substitute out our key players. However, they scored once, 1-2. And once more very late in injury time... In the extra time we were under pressure untill one of their players got his second yellow and was sent off. We scored from that freekick and cruised the game home. In the semi finals we met Colchester. They were playing well but we kept fighting. However they were awarded a penalty in the first half. Somehow we fighted our way back in the game scored to 1-1 before the pause. In the second half Colchester put us under lots of pressure. But in this injury time it was our time to shine. A young Liam Hester scored a screamer just before full time! In the final on Wembley we met Southend. In the season we had met them 2 times. It was two games without many goals, where we won one game 1-0 and the second ended 1-1. To prepare for a game without many goals, we trained set pieces the whole week (or the two trainings day that are available as a semi pro team). Unfortunately, the goal scorer from the last two games, Felix Ahmad was called up for the Nigeria under-20 team. As expected it was a game with very few chances and we went into extra time 0-0. And then it happended. A freekick ended at Calderwood's head and it was 0-1! WE WON!!! And are promoted to League Two! One of the reasons that we succeeded this season was that we finally got a goal scorer again. Last years graduate James Clarke managed to score 16 goals. And with many goals from the midfield that was enough. EDIT: I forgot my two best players (on paper). One was away on international duty and the other was injuried: Dawson scored 13 from his left wing and was a great part of my succes until he broke his leg in April. Craig Armstrong had a great season too. Scored 9 goals and made 18 assists. He is still bad technically and physically. But maybe the mental stats are more important in FM22? His decisions, anticipation and visions had done wonder for me this season! My preview of the youth intake was very exciting once again. 4.5 stars 2 A's and 2 C's. I was definitely not disappointed. A new star player for the right wing/striker, Felix Ahmed, the guy that scored in two of the play off game before he missed the final. And a new centre-back. 4 players got their debut in the remainder of the season. You can have a screenshot of Ahmad. If have not yet decided if he will be playing as a winger or a striker. But he managed to score 3 and assist 1 in his 10 games. I made of course no incoming transfers. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade my training facilities to adequate. My youth level was upgraded to level 3 just before the season. I managed finish my Continental Pro Licence. Hopefully, the club will go full time pro when we promote. Is this something that happens automatically when you promote to League Two? Edited November 18, 2021 by fries
fries
And then some bad news. 1. The local council blocked a stadium expansion. I think the capacity is too low to play in League Two. So exciting where we are going to play instead? 2. My youth facilities downgraded... But I think they are still adequate 3. My youth category ranking dropped back to 4. But on the happy side, we are now a professional club.

Palkey
FC Jelgava 2024 - Mid Season update I am updating mid season this time because of a few factors, some positive some negative. We have been playing really well, managing to take some games off what I consider the top 4, the point total so far is astounding to me. especially considering my team isn't really getting any better, and my tactics haven't changed. This year we have Auda back in the league and retaining their place at the foot of the table. The only different thing is RFS... I really don't like the look of them running away with the league. Ouni Performs really really well, it must be his incredible height and jumping... it's just a massive shame he isn't developing at all. Patjicuks has won me a fair few games, he feels like a step above the rest of the team. Steinburgs I am really happy with how he's been performing, I thought switching him to LB would be a big risk, but he's competent and capable, and now my defense is fairly solid. Putans is only getting game time because our leading scorer Becers left us on a free. He's unremarkable in everyway, but he's hitting a few into the net so he's earned my respect. And now for the biggest thing, looks pretty small at first glance but I'm delighted by it. 79th up to 65th is huge, and we didn't have to do anything towards it, and we are starting to perform well in the league... good signs all around. really hope a reputation boost helps our intakes, because we are bleeding money... upgrades are few and far between. really need some help on the wings Edited November 15, 2021 by Palkey youth preview of course
Makoto Nakamura
I really don't think that this can mean anything at this level of football.
Shambolic
Here's the intake. Sadly not much first-team quality, but we get some much needed depth and in Ali Salum, an actual real life striker! I'm currently 3 points from safety with 4 games remaining though so fingers crossed I'm actually able to try and develop them.

Palkey
Easy tie against the 8th placed team, we had a great record going into this game and swept them aside. Braumiller
South ShieldsSeason 02 ( 2023 / 2024) We massively overachieved this season, starting the season off very strongly based on our great first season. We led the league for a couple of weeks after 15-16 games and then held 2nd place for another dozen weeks after that. Slowly but surely things evened themselves out and we fell into a fight for playoff places. Last game of the season saw us needing to just match the result for either of the two teams immediately below us and thankfully we were playing already relegated Dulwich. We made hard work of it (as we always did), but won 2-1 and were playoff bound! First round and we ground out a very nice 2-1 win after conceding first (again!). Semi final time and we hit our wall. Hard. Aldershot smashed us 0-4 and the dream was over. Still a great season, but it might be our peak for the immediate future. Our 5 star GK is not re-signing and we are going to be playing a 16 year old between the sticks next season. A better intake. The top 7-10 could make it if things work out for them. I like this kid. Possible captain material (minus a good personality) with his starting Determination, Leadership & Teamwork. Played in several games already at DC & DR. Versatile, but didn't knock my socks off like I had hoped based on the intake preview around Xmas. I'm sure he will get plenty of games soon. High potential GKs are always welcome, and given our upcoming loss of our 5* GK is currently on course to be our starter next season!..... If he scores, I'll play him Nothing stands out about him, but I like goals.... Kept the board happy! Nothing happening here! Expecting season 3 to be a little rougher. Although our first batch of intake kids are starting to develop. Both our fullbacks are from season 1s intake, one of my rotating MCs is from the holiday years intake and my AssMan recommends starting Jak Eccles 02A at DC in his starting lineups. If we can keep the youth product line amping up, I'm hoping we can solidify ourselves. The board turned down EVERY useful request, numerous times. I did get a couple of coaching badges, but our facilities are 'as you were'. The council also blocked the boards plans for stadium expansion. We averaged around 3100 this year at our 3500 capacity ground.
