Stobart13
Season 3 Review Competitions |Transfers | League Table Season 2 in the Championship was a considerable success, if I'm being honest. A solid mid table finish with safety ensured 5 games before the end of the season let me give a few of my fringe youngsters get a run out. Nothing out of the ordinary to speak about in the cups, lost to Premiership opposition in the Irish Cup, League Cup and the County Antrim Shield. Although being able to play Linfield at the National Stadium in the Irish Cup with a split gate, definitely helped the bank balance, albeit temporarily. Obviously in the game of Football Manager, everything isn't always rosy. We have lost Craig Tanner, our top goal scorer from this season, to Ebbsfleet Town on a free, don't even think I get any compensation for him either . Although on the flip side, Jermaine Rice, one of the top prospects from our first youth recruitment has had an absolute stormer of a season with a 7.73 avg rating. The disappointing thing is that he is actually English, I have a feeling that if he was born in NI, he would've had a couple of youth caps which would've helped his development even more. We did get another good centre back in the Intake this year, Giannis Vasileiou. He obviously doesn't have the same physical stats as Jermaine, but with Giannis being eligible for both Northern Ireland and Cyprus, I'm hoping that there is some opportunity for some underage international apperances. The board still reckon that we are a team that should be battling against relegation, although, my personal objective is to try and fight to break into the top 6 of the league. Habituz
So I realised I'd forgot to save for rerolling clubs so made one, when ran to date and checked to make sure it got new teams, I noticed South Shields, who are a pro team we can pick with a possible good club vision. So decided to try again and see if with more training if I do better. Might be slow between updates as probably still try a few other saves to get a better handle on match engine. Daddy
2025-2026 Season Review: Settled into second place for most of the season and won the promotion playoff 2:0 on aggregate. Tweaked the tactics this season to be less possession oriented and it led to a lot more goals. We'll see how it fairs back up in the Super League. Lost in 3rd round to Young Boys again in the Swiss Cup. Once again, not particularly close. Youth Intake: Another really nice looking intake. More deep than top heavy. 2026-2027 Preview: I'd like to at least for the relegation playoff this year compared to the automatic relegation from two seasons ago. The top three teams ran all over us when I was up two seasons ago, but I was fairly competitive (as in draws and 1 goal losses) with the rest of the teams.
Popular Post SpS_Zen
Season 12 The challenge of this season was to stay competitive everywhere despite a busy calendar, with sometimes 4 games in a week. Buthelezi 31b was observed by Porto for a few months, which made me sweat (350k release clause), but they lost interest at the end of the season. Third place gives us access to Africa CL again. My strikers struggled this season. Despite the loss of my best DC, who left for free to join a team fighting for relegation rather than play CL with us..., our defense remains strong. I am going to try a 424 next season, as I have several high potential strikers. CL: After 2 rounds, we reached the phase group. Unfortunately, we draw what must be one of the worst outcome possible. We faced the 2 others South African teams qualified, and a punching ball Burkina Faso team. We fought bravely, but it wasn't enough against two teams that faced again each other in finals. The CL was won by Egyptian clubs until 2026. Since 2027, SA teams dominate the continent. Cup: We reached the final of the domestic cup against a mid table team. We played poorly, and conceded a 90+5 penalty that sealed it. YI: A fullback as hot prospect, and another golden generation. Zulu 27a, still our key player despite bad personality, mediocre consistency, and being only 3 stars. Training Facilities were downgraded which feels odd as I upgraded them 2 seasons ago.

Padders
Another four seasons and sacked/relegated Gone from top 7 all season in season 2 bar the last 3 weeks And top in October of season 3 to bottom in season 4 One player over 1 star in the intakes Edited November 22, 2021 by Padders
SpS_Zen
Season 13 We started with a 424 that made us concede too many goals. I didn't find the right balance between offensive and defensive, and switched back to my solid 433MD. In the league, we weren't able to reach a champions league spot this season. The top 3 teams were just too strong. After winning 4 titles in a row, Kaizer Chiefs lost their crown. We will play the equivalent of the Europa League next season. Strikers struggled again. CL: Group draw was bad, but not as bad as last season. In the quarter finals, I had 1/3 chance to encounter Kaizer Chiefs, my nemesis. This season 1/3 = 100% when it comes to Kaizer Chiefs. We fought bravely but lost logically to a stronger team 1-1 (h) and 3-1 (a). Cups: 3 cups, we draw our nemesis 3 times. Excluding the league, we played Kaizer Chiefs 6 times this season which resulted in Win: 1 Draw: 2 Loss: 3. The only win was in the League Cup final. Our third trophy, and second league cup! Our nemesis knocked us out of the domestic cup in the semi-finals after penalties. (1-1/5-4p), in semi-finals from the MTN 8 (cup between top 8 from previous season) 1-0 (h), 3-0 (a), and from the CL quarter finals. YI looks amazing this year. 18 players, all with some potential. I had to use the letter 'r', never done this before ! And I am really excited about our hot prospect. Youth setup costs 3m/year, which is 30% of my income. Popular Post Libertine13
2029/30 We went into this season without any real hope of achieving anything. Last season had really demoralised me. But in typical FM fashion we defied expectations, despite the squad barely improving and me keeping faith with the same tactics. My main striker, Kilian Markmuller, had his best season yet with 24 goals in 36 league games. It seemed like as the season went on more and more of my regular starters started to realise some of the potential. And a few players who were on the periphery of the first team squad really took their chances when given. In the second half of the season we only lost once and we eventually secured a play off spot once again, four season since our last play off spot finish. We were unlucky not to qualify automatically, only missing out on goal difference! As you can see, we managed to win the play offs and FINALLY secure promotion! The two legged tie was pretty straight forward, winning the first leg 4-0 and then seeing out the second leg with a 2-1 victory. The intake preview wasn't exactly promising. I've really not had the finances to get the training or youth facilities upgraded at all. The actual intake maybe has a couple of players that could be of use to use in a few years time. I'm finding that youngsters develop better in your Second team as opposed to the Under 19's, I'm not exactly sure why this is but I'll most likely promote most young players into the Second team from now on and see if it makes a big enough impact on the development.
MelbVictory
My first ever save and my team doesn't even have a logo in the Logo Pack. Olimpia Eblag is in battling away half way up the table. The only long term plan I have accomplished is signing of a Head of Youth dev. No facility upgrades yet despite having some money. The intake doesn't fill me with confidence, especially since I have a young gun keeper already.

Popular Post Pauldinho7
Beira-Mar 2036-37 update - two times Liga NOS Champions! We did it again, and quite convincingly too. Gutted not to progress from the UCL group stages, a 0-0 home draw where we battered Juventus but drew was the result that stopped our progress. Then not sure what happened at the end of the season but we switched off completely and finished poorly in the UEL and Portuguese cup. Youth intake was promising though as I really like the look of these two... I also signed one of the youth intake too late and he went down as a transfer so here's proof that I released him just to be on the safe side:
Popular Post JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 2 – 2023/24 Promotion Stage The first part of the season was trying to make sure we could survive Liga 3, not really expecting much to actually happen. What I didn't expect was a season where promotion was actually on the cards. Yet here we are, looking at promotion once again. All we needed to do to achieve promotion was win the group stage, and win it with a game to go we did. It threw me off a lot more than I like to admit, but we managed to do what I had considered to be impossible and achieve promotion. Understandably, a lot of people were impressed and surprised by the promotion that we had just achieved. After all, I hadn't been expecting it, yet alone the fans. So when we managed to find ourselves in a 2nd champions final in a row, I knew that I wanted to win it, so we could win the league. Win the league we did. Beating Gondomar in the final thanks to a 94th minute winner after they went down to 9 men. We managed to win our first piece of silverware. The idea that we could win the title seemed completely out of the question at the beginning of the season, we were considered only the 21st best team in the entire division, yet here we are, winning the entire league. It meant more than anything, knowing that just a few months before we were potentially just 5 games away from losing our job. In fact, we were just 11 games away from winning a league title. To see how we won promotion and the league title, the video below will show you the way that I had to approach the entire situation and the idea that I had going into the last games of the season as well as my true feelings of getting promoted so soon. League - It started so well, with 6 straight wins. But then the next 8 games only saw us win twice, and I wasn't entirey sure which run would be the one to set the tone for the rest of the season. Then we beat third placed Lincoln City 6-0 and I started to believe we could do it. 8 straight wins towards the end of the season saw us gain promotion with 5 games to play. With only the title to play for we almost blew it, with only 1 victory in those final 5 games, but we managed to sneak it Fa Cup - worryingly, we were beaten easily in the first round by another League 1 side. Palkey
Holbæk Bold- og Idrætsforening Season 4 Update This one was the most painful year of the save so far. I never really felt that we were THAT much worse than the others in the league, we never changed our system so probably dropped a few points and goals from being attacking 24/7. My main concern is that we got a lot of points off AB and B.93, both of whom are leaving the lofty heights of NordicbetLiga. Survival is nice, and with the finances working out the way they are we can survive in the league for a few more years. Competition money is a massive game changer, that covered about half of our costs for the year. Having said that I really really need to minimize my squad, no one I'm willing to sell is worth a single pound. Daniel Munk took off this season, really coming into his own. Pedersen is an odd creature, has some of the best stats in the team, but full of some really underwhelming performances. John Olsen is bizarre, naturally mediocre winger with 5 finishing... 19 goals though. And Marcus Sloth is leaving us, so we are about to be out a few goals next year. This youth intake was underwhelming, still really need a big time striker, could use some quality in defense. But at least I got Bidstrup who is really solid, needs a few years to grow physically but when he does he will be a wall. Bødker doesn't really stand out as much to me, if any of you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - IL Try - Season 2028 - 4. Divisjon Oslo 2 Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Things got a bit tougher this season! We still managed to get another promotion in, but the teams are no longer pushovers. This was the last season we are in the created leagues, as we are heading into the 4th tier. This is where the challenge really starts, and I'm eagerly awaiting how things will go. Norgesmesterskapet: First time in the cup! We beat Rosseland and Frei before we lost to Nordstrand from the tier above in the 1st round. Best players: Finn Berre 26a - He has a great season and scored loads of goals. Also the best player at the club by a good margin.David Smith 22b - The coaching are starting to question his potential to play at the club, but he still delivers for us.Ilir Beqiri 22a - Still runs the midfield for us. Youth intake: A good intake with more ability than we've had for a while. A pretty good inverted winger, but no. I'm making him into a left back because I just don't have any who can do a good job there... Spoiler Trophy cabinet 5. Divisjon Oslo 2 - 1 (2027) 6. Divisjon Oslo 2 - 1 (2026) 7. Libertine13
2030/31 Going into this season we were favourites for relegation and the board were basically expecting us to fight bravely against relegation so there wasn't too much in the way of expectations. The first half of the season was abysmal, it was looking like we'd be heading straight back down. It was a good job the board were fond of me otherwise my job could have been at risk. We needed to change something up so I switched to a 4-4-2 and results improved so much that we shot right up the table, leaving any thoughts of relegation firmly behind us as we ended up in 6th position! Had I made the switch of formation earlier we may have had a promotion challenge, but we can't grumble. We got a massive £14m as prize money this season, which is incredible as we've basically been slightly in the red for a few years now. As soon as this money came through I was able to get the training and youth facilities upgraded for the first time in a few years and with some persistence the board gave in and upgraded the youth recruitment as well. Kilian Markmuller was integral to this run, he totalled 19 goals this season and was the top goal scorer in the league. The youth preview was really good, though we're not really struggling for the positions that look most promising. When the actual youth intake came through I was delighted to see a promising centre half in there (Adrian Trujillo).

Stobart13
Season 4 Review Competitions |Transfers | League Table I'm not going to lie, this season was a tough one for me personally, its probably been the first time I've hit a real wall with the save. We didn't really get going until it was too late, to be honest. We survived comfortably and finished 7th to be the "Best of the worst" so to speak so I'm not sure why I feel like this season was a bit of a disappointment. We finished the season winning 9 of our last 10 games, all against teams who finished in the bottom half. I'll take the positives from that and hope that can spur us on. Nothing to write about in the cups again, dumped out in the first round we entered in the Shield, League and Irish Cups, but they aren't the priority, unless I get a lucky run. We also had a big decision to make in January. On deadline day, our star player Jermaine Rice, was the recipient of numerous transfer offers, from a number of National League sides and NIFL Premiership side Larne. Jermaine did have a year left on his contract, so thankfully we had some sway at the negotiating table. In the end, we let him go to Hartlepool for a very modest 3k with a 25% of next sale clause. 3k is a steal for Hartlepool and I don't think I've ever been so upset at a regen leaving before, but he deserves to be playing professional football and hopefully he can kick on and give me a bit of extra money down the line. While losing Jermaine was a big disappointment, thankfully we have a decent replacement in Giannis Vasileiou, he had a fairly decent season, making 8 U21 appearances for Cyprus, not bad for a 16 year old, playing in the 2nd tier in NI! Given how we finished this season, I am hoping and praying that we can break into the top half of the table, I still think promotion is a long way away, as I am seeing quite a few teams yo-yo up and down. Youth Intake Preview | Youth Intake Part 1 | Youth Intake Part 2 I think the game decided to give me a break after losing Rice, we were predicted a 4 star intake, but we got a 5-star intake with a couple of special players Matteo Lorenzi (Y04 A) Jason Long (Y04 B) Spoiler

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 2 – 2023/24 Season Review Just a few months after I was fearing for my job and we were looking like we could be sacked, not only did we go up as Champions of Liga 3, but we have also now been given a new 2-year deal by the club, it gives me security that I desperately needed. Not only that, but we also managed to convince the board to allow me to start studying for the National B Licence, which will make us a better manager. So far, the two best players to have come through our youth intakes were two players that came through the youth intake before I arrived. David Alves is the best of them and is already considered the star of the future. How good can he become? He's already got a few top flight clubs after his signature and he might be starting to believe that the club isn't good enough to reach his ambitions. The other player that I like is Ely Casanova, I was honestly at first playing him because I had to throw him into the first-team due to an issue with the home-grown rule, but he has since forced his way into the first-team after João Pinto, one of our starting defenders retired in the first season at the age of 36, so he has taken the spot in the team and has made it his own. What a talent. Our first two seasons at the club has been a success, finishing in 2nd in the Campeonato Nacional Prio in the first season, and now finishing as champions of Liga 3, things are looking up. If you guys want to see me go into more detail about the squad and reviewing the season as a whole, feel free to watch my latest video on YouTube, it might be over 20 minutes long, but I went into quite a bit of detail as a whole. Thanks in advance. JLAB's YAC with Beira-Mar Part 14
BustaRaymes
*FM20* Molodechno-DYuSSh-4 2023 - season 4 League table Belarussian First Division Quite a step back I must say. After losing star poacher Karp and gaining talented AMC Szumski we started out with a 4-2-3-1 formation, spearheaded by targetman Kuratnik. The first few games were pretty good and gave us confidence that we could maintain our level. Although Kuratnik wouldn't be scoring 15 goals, he did pretty well as we could use him in the build-up more than we could with Karp. It wasn't meant to be as all of midseason we were in a slump from which we never really recovered towards the end. Squad Jovancic had another great season and with his contract ending in a year I might choose to sell him, hoping for a sell-on clause being activated. Talented Sachivko is ready for the first team anyway. Legacy player Ivanenko is still a dream captain but will lose his spot as he's just not good enough anymore. Dulub had a decent debut season and Chichkan is starting to become a leader at the back. Lavrik was injured for a while and hasn't impressed much, so he'll need to step it up. Yuraga is a limited but really strong player. His rating is a bit low but I like his abilities so he'll get more time to show his worth. Korytko played well and is still only 17. His potential made me choose him over Rulinskiy, although the latter performed better. Bugay developed really well and seems to be our next gem, Szumski on the other hand did not develop at all and was very mediocre. Pitirimov still holds on to his place just by being our dead ball specialist. Sobko was a sub for most of the season but got some starts towards the end as Kuratnik scored all of his 6 goals in the first half of the season and then just stopped popping up in the box. Key players Chichkan was a 16-year old backup in the first season, got dropped back into the U19s and developed his way back into the first team. He leads our young back line and with his professionalism and leadership I can see him become our captain before too long. Bugay had a starting spot because of a major injury for Vasilkov. He had a good season and developed really well, so well in fact that Vasilkov has been let go. 23 appearances, about 20 of them in the AMC role and not one goal or assist. Szumski might well be one of our most talented players but has nothing to show for it. His personality went to Unambitious to Fairly Professional and he turned out for Poland U20 though, so maybe he'll show more of his class next season. Transfers So as stated earlier, my chairman decided to sell star players Karp and Melnik for next to nothing. There is no money to be earned through transfers here so why take our chances of promotion away? Seeing as how our season went, we have to start building again. Youth Intake Another good intake with some better personalities this time around. Pitirimov shares his position and his free kick taking ability with his first team namesake. He's not the most talented in any other area but I'm interested to see how he develops as we do need a left winger. Kazarin is decently rounded player with a nice set of attributes. Although we don't have a slot for him at the moment he might have a chance to feature for us before too soon. Denisyuk is the kind of midfielder I like. A bit of a boring player, born to be a Carrilero, but with a lot of nice attributes in nice places. Has a shot to make the bench next season. Zaleskiy is a full back but with all the qualities that a central defender needs. Will retrain him and his horrible personality. Zuevich might be the one to feature heavily next season. Has the right amount of pace and finishing for an otherwise quality-poor squad looking for goals. Next season We'll probably lose Jovancic but that shouldn't be a very big issue with Savichko ready to shine. We'll be looking to consolidate, halt the slide down and try to get closer to the playoffs again. Gomel and Granit are too good for us though and they haven't even been able to win promotion so I have no idea where we stand. Back to tinkering with the tactic a bit and hoping for a string of results. Edited November 23, 2021 by BustaRaymes Small changes
fries
Sky Bet League Two 2029/30 (season 8) Season Summary Great season. Won the first 5 games of the season and since then my lowest position was 5th. We secured promotion with 1 game to go and could win the league if we at least got the same result as Sutton on the 2nd place. But apparently my team was allready on holiday. So we lost the last game and became 2nd placed. But then again, it was much better than expected. I am really happy with the season and hope that we manage to avoid relegation from League One. In the FA cup we beated 3 clubs including a League One team, but lost against the Premier League side, Leeds. One of the reasons we were able to promote was our topscorer Ahmad. He scored 27 goals in total and especially his last half of the season was great. However I dont know if I can keep him. He is wanted by 19 clubs including two from Premier League and he refuses to sign a new contract. My central defenders and central midfielders had a great season too. The midfielders Armstrong, Osmani, and Bermingham had in total 37 assists and 12 goals. I also changed goalkeeper in the middle of the season when Carter had developed great on loan. My preview of the youth intake was exciting. 4.5 stars and two A's But I was a bit disapointed. "Only" 4 with 5 stars potential, which I think is the least I have gotten in this save. However, the CA of my team is also the highest so far. Only Camara and Bradley got game time in the remainder of the season. I made of course no incoming transfers. But I had my second major sale, Prentice. Got a 50 % sell on clause so I hope he will perform well. Finances and Upgrades No upgrades this year. But my finances are suffering. The biggest problem is my youth setup which costs me around £ 2 millions each season. Hopefully, my earnings will increase in League One or I start to make bigger sales. Currently the board will not allow for even the cheapest training cources for my staff. Edited November 23, 2021 by fries
Reifi
Weird thing to ask but, How to people do the challenge in lower league databases. Do they sim a season to find out who got last or relegated or do they do something else?

If the database has a relegated side and you get someone new when the season resets, then you have to choose a newly promoted club. If there is no relegation, then sim for a season and take the bottom placed side.

Popular Post WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere 2036-37 (Season 15) Performance This season we were our regular 8th placed selves, but it was for good reason (see transfers): Season Summary. Also after this season have two new Youth Academy players in the RAAL record books: Sadly though this will be D Gaillard 28a's final season as he got real upset when I began rotating him for the new hot young striker. No one would bid his worth though in the Winter so he got to close out this season and claim the record from the legacy players and we will sell him in the summer. Transfers This year it was a much needed harvest time of the youth crop at RAAL La Louviere. Rather than re-upping these AMs on extreme high salaries with low fee release clauses I decided to cash in on the talent basically selling my entire starting midfield with the best prospects going to AC Milan. Fredrich Mbala 23e: 10.25M As he was loaned last year his transfer is "technically" this season. This was a typical low up front high 3 year instalments, so we will get 2M a year starting this fall. Additionally my International Appearance gamble paid off as in the December International break he got his 5th additional cap for DR Congo Yann Poulain 33d: 8.75M I am less happy with this transfer. I had a perfect deal lined up with FC Porto and then the board got greedy and wanted a full upfront deal so bad from AC Milan they didn't even get a % sell on clause! So this deal has no expansion and he is one where I could rake in a huge deal eventually if he actually develops at AC Milan. Jurgen Asani 33g: 4M This one I had to push out earlier than I would have liked as the contract he was going to ask for would make him very hard to sell. Again this has no sell on % but thats because no one would negotiate an offer. They all just sent 4M bids in from 4 Russian clubs, LASK, 2 in Japan and 1 in Australia. Most random assortment I've experienced. He chose Austria. Mohamed Edrissi 30b: 2.7M This was the release clause that I knew was going to get triggered this season as he is well worth that level of fee. He went to KRC Genk and featured in most every game as they claimed a surprise Champion of the League: 16(18). He switched back to Morocco at the start of the season so was back to being a starting international player, which instantly made him wanted by clubs in Belgium. Christ Makengo 24e: 300k The gift that keeps on giving. He is doing well at Getafe and got the required appearances for another fee bonus. Youth Intake Another lackluster preview: Result was okay I guess? The best is the Italian/Swiss Right Winger who is the first from my new affiliate in Switzerland, but he isn't near as good as the winger I got last year so he won't be seeing first team soccer. Good mix of second nationalities though I only took the 4.5+ prospects, so down to Lemart Sabbe 37b. Now to find them all loans... Facilities: As you can imagine I was thrilled that we finally had money for things. So I've been doing as much shopping as possible, which sadly wasn't much because its a new board that seems to not realize how I brought this club back to relevancy. So they rejected upgrading Youth facilities, but increased our recruitment level and training facilities. I'll try again in the Fall, maybe I can sneak one more in. More this has allowed my coaching staff to get long delayed additional licenses. Finances We still have some money in the bank, but the monthly cost of the youth set up is going to be nasty next year. It was already 4M a season before I upgraded the recruitment, so who knows what it will be after. With the yearly payment on July 1st I'll try again for more facilities as an upgrade to youth or training would be very helpful. Manager Thoughts We just reset the attacking talent of the club. While we have probably our best Striker prospect thus far, our AMs aren't nearly as good as the one's I just shipped off. Our good Slovenian DLP is already being hunted by Millan clubs and I could see him leaving us. The biggest value player I held onto is my 3rd CB who apparently is worth over 10M if I cashed in on him. (Screenshots) However I want to pay to keep this defense together and I'll make my money on the midfielders as I seem to get a lot more of those that I can sell off than defenders. It will probably take a couple years to begin noticing the benefits of the upgrades so its more of the same ahead here. Because of this I've taken a break from the save and started a dafuges challenge team to experience the scouting/transfer side of the game. I of course won't be leaving RAAL behind, but it was getting stale finishing in 8th every year and selling just enough to stay solvent.
Daddy
Mid-Season Break Update: Really feels like 5th-9th is wide open. -24 is an awful GD but just over half of that is from 3 Games against Young Boys who are absolutely stomping everyone else. It was also exacerbated by a 3 games in 6 day road trip, that also included Basel, to close out the first half of the season. Otherwise, we've been in every game and I actually like our chances of staying up. Goalie Controversy: I could not keep this kid on the U18 any longer The problem is our regular starter is pretty good He's not dominant though, ending up with high 6 or low 7 as season average rating. I will begin working in Y25A (he's leap frogging other decent keeper prospects from 2023 & 2024) to see if he can take the reigns from Heim. Intake Preview: Another promising intake. My current Striker is doing really well (Legacy player), but his backup is starting to force the issue about playing time so I may have an opening there soon. I have a decent amount of high potential Center Backs but no one has quite put it all together yet and claimed a spot, and with how important of a role it is I'll never complain about getting more options.
