filipefm20
2024 youth intake is a lot better than 2023. Two strikers than might be turned into winger, a good pair of center backs and a very interesting defensive midfielder. Gevor Karapetyan seems to be the best prospect in the class but he really lacks quickness
filipefm20
Season 2023/2024 ended with a great league for us, managing to have a really safe season. Danil Karpov had a great season scoring 26 goals this time Roman Petrakov had a breakout season scoring 6 goals and handing 6 assists, being a big part of our improvement this season Yuri Kotov, Roman Dochaev, Sergey Svintsov, Pavel Ivanov, Artem Guliev, Gevorg Karepatyan and Sergey Bocharov will also be part of our main team this season.
Popular Post Flashman\'s School Days
Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season 2031 Review Manager Characteristics - Manager Attributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1, 2, 3 Campeonato Uruguayo - 2nd An absolutely magnificent season where we snuck into second place on the final day by goal difference over Nacional, who lost to Penarol on the last day as we were winning 6-1. Not that this mattered because Nacional then played Penarol in three playoff games and ended up winning the title, this must have been gutting for Penarol who had gone the season unbeaten with only 12 goals conceded. We had a fairly decent opening stage and closing stage where we finished 4th and 3rd respectively but it was the Intermedio where we made up those points on Nacional. We won our group in the Intermedio for the second time since I've been in charge but as is customary we lost to Penarol in the final (it's now 26 games played against them without a single win). Copa Sudamericana - WINNERS!! If our league campaign was magnificent then this was beyond words and put a wonderful exclamation point on how we played. For the third year in a row we faced Danubio to get into the group stage and I won't miss them next season in the Copa Libertadores. We also got drawn against Flamengo in the group stage for the third year running too, knowing how we had played against them before I wasn't too bothered as I knew we could overcome them, Colo-Colo were the easier side in the group but Independiente del Valle but up some really stiff competition and we had a couple of barnstormers against them. Caracas in the second round were easily swept aside then we faced Alianza who a few years ago had beaten us on away goals in the second round by scoring in stoppage time, after they won the first leg despite us having the better of the game I thought they would cause us more heartbreak but we put them to the sword at home. The semi-final was then against yet another former nemesis in Rosario Central who had knocked us out in the second round on penalties, this time we were able to win away with the help of an early red card and then held on at home to make our second final. Nacional had walloped three Brazilian sides to reach the final including beating Red Bull Bragantino in the semi 7-1 which gave us an indication of how seriously they took this tournament, if our league battles weren't enough, they were also in their third final in four seasons. The game began with Nacional scoring after 59 seconds and I thought our dreams were going to be over earlier than even I expected but we hit back in the 16th minute then grabbed another one straight from the kick off before Nacional equalised in the 22nd. The game settled slightly from there with us very much on top before Bruno Bica split the defence with a pass for Adolfo Castro 29b to slot his second of the game, then with the game heading to a nervy end Daniele Cavagna 29a curled a beauty into the top corner from outside the area. That was enough to win us our first trophy as manager and in the Maracanã no less. Squad Thankfully we lost nobody before the season began this year despite interest in a few players but after complaining about not being a first team regular I had to accept a bid for Santiago Duarte 25a from Lens for £300k and 25% next sale, although this was a bonus because I had agreed with him to accept anything over £250k, it was just a shame as he had actually played quite a bit and scored 10 goals before departing. Leandro Prado 27i became the number one this season and he really excelled, so much so that I had to turn down 9 bids on September deadline day from Caen, Torino and Lorient. I'd really like to just keep him until he retires so I will see if I can keep fending off the wolves. Mateo Charamoni yet again won the fan's player of the season and in fact had his best season yet in terms of average rating despite now being 33, he really is the talisman of this team and I worry for when he retires. Luckily I've now got two other centre backs I know can take his place Pedro Borches 27h (although he has got interest from Sunderland) and César Rodríguez 29c (who was an absolute goal machine, although 7 of his goals were penalties). Ignacio Teixeira 28d also came on leaps and bounds this season as the back up right back and I think he will be my long term solution there even though I constantly get bids from other Uruguayan sides for him. Of the many central midfielders/defensive midfielders I have, the best of the bunch were Nicolás Müller 26b and Santiago Noy 28e, mainly because we had a lot of injuries to the others and having to rotate I wasn't able to play them as much as I wanted to. It was in one of these injury crises' that I called upon nearly turned 17 Marcos Bica 30d who was amazing in his few games at the end of the season, even starting in the Copa Sudamericana final. At the beginning of the season I had let Armando Benítez's contract slip so he had less than 6 months left, I only remembered this when he was offered a contract by a team in his native Paraguay, I instantly offered him a new contract but his demands were astronomical so I resigned myself to losing him which I was a bit sad about but I thought I could deal with it. He then rejected that contract and when it was possible to offer him one again he had much more reasonable demands, so we kept him and my god how thankful I was for that because he turned into our most lethal attacker, unfortunately he picked up a bad injury before the semi final second leg and was out for the remainder of the season. Federico Rivero 22e also managed to get 19 goals this season playing between striker and left winger, easily his best goal return. Daniele Cavagna 29a had a stop and start season due to injury but he helped out with a good return of 8 goals and 8 assists. The star of the show though was Adolfo Castro 29b who won the Copa Sudamericana Best Player for the second consecutive season. He's an incredible linchpin in this team, we play completely differently if he's not there, at the moment he doesn't have a release clause but I know he wants one for only £1.6M if I was to sign him to a new contract so his future is uncertain in my eyes. Youth Intake It seems like every intake has a handful of really exciting prospects these days and this was no different Pablo Correa 31c, Germán Camacho 31d, José Carril 31f and the star of the intake Nicolás Marichal 31a. Marichal made 8 appearances in the Copa Sudamericana and even made the team of the tournament at defensive midfield. Finances The finances are looking really healthy, mainly from prize money and then a little bit from the one sale for £300k and some instalments from previous transfers. I also found out that solidarity payments don't seem to be a thing in Uruguay because former players Alfonso Coedo 27f and Matías Tabárez 27a moved for a combined £5.5M and we didn't get anything, not to mention that because they were both signed for their release clauses we weren't able to get next sale clauses on the deals. I did get another training facility upgrade agreed but it doesn't seem to have come out of the balanced yet as it is scheduled to start at the beginning of next year so hopefully that still goes through. I also finally had the email through to say that we are going to actually build the new stadium and we have now got a £2.3M loan that we'll pay off for the next 10 years.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2022 Ungmennafélagið Samherjar Season Summary A season of achievement as we qualified for the promotion playoffs and enjoyed a good cup run. It did end in disappointment though. Season Details League Table - A second place finish was far above my expectations and we qualified for the promotion playoffs as a result. League Fixtures - After losing our first two games, we went unbeaten for the rest of the campaign. Promotion Playoffs - Tindastóll proved too strong over two legs in the semi final, though we did push them all the way. Mjólkurbikarinn - We enjoyed a fruitful cup run and even won away to third tier side Magni. We went out at the third round stage after having two players sent off. Pre Season Friendlies - A very tough pre season campaign as we only won once, drew once and lost the remaining eight games. Squad - A decent enough squad, though we do have quite a few holes. Squad Dynamics - It is quite good though there is room for improvement. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Just the one departure as an experienced central defender rejected a new deal so he could move to pastures new. Youth Candidates - A good intake with goalkeeper Sigurður K. Hermannsson YP22A1 being the clear standout player. Finances - We made a small profit this year and enjoy a bank balance that is in the black. Key Players Birkir Þórarinsson - The teenage right back was our best player this season. Brynjar Logi Magnússon - It was an excellent campaign from our centre back. Freyr Ingason - Our other central defender, who formed a good partnership with Brynjar Logi Magnússon. Eysteinn Bessi Sigmarsson - Versatile midfielder who can also play up front, he dictated games most of the time. Guðmunder Arnarson - The teenager was used as our main striker and repaid the faith shown in him with 9 goals in 18 appearances. Next Season Whilst I wasn't expecting a promotion push this season, we need to repeat this next year as I don't want to go backwards, so to speak. Daddy
2033 Midseason Break: Very tight at the top. If I could turn those draws into wins would be more comfortable. Copa Libertadores Group Stage: Pretty unfortunate draw here. River clearly the best team. Catolica is a fellow Chilean team, but one I just struggle against (they stole a win with a late goal). Finishing in 4th means the continental play is finished for the season. Youth Intake Preview:

Popular Post GylfiAsCharged
FC Carl Zeiss Jena - 2024/25 Season Transfers - Squad - Best Eleven Top Scorer: Theodor Bergmann (16)Most Assists: Christopher Theisen (19)Highest Avg. Rating: Theodor Bergmann (16) Even the most optimistic of Jena fans wouldn't have expected that season, and I certainly didn't either! But this team seems to have a knack of going on great runs. Carried mainly by players promoted out of the unplayable leagues we had another amazing season, when we lost 5-0 to Bochum after a good start I expected we'd tail off into mid-table or the bottom half but we just won another three games on the spin to my surprise, culminating in a 6-0 away win in Kiel. The title was out of our hands on the final day having lost 1-0 at home to St Pauli in the third last game, but we won our final two as they drew theirs and we overtook them to seal our first piece of silverware! Surprisingly our title win was managed without a super prolific striker, after scoring 50 times in two 3.Liga seasons Fabian Eisele struggled with the step up, only netting 8 times this year, and in October I gave a debut to our promising young striker Patrick Breuer. Born in Jena, the local lad made his debut off the bench against Schalke and netted in injury time to give us an unlikely victory. The press failed to mention his winning goal, but the Klinsmann comparison was interesting to see! He would increase his tally to 10 over the season and will go into our debut Bundesliga campaign as our first choice up front. I didn't even know this award existed but it was definitely richly deserved, and I hope to see many Jena players picking it up in the coming seasons. Here is how he is looking attributes-wise, I think he's pretty well rounded and will grow into a good asset for us and fetch a good price eventually. I'm just glad we found our next goalscorer in the first few seasons as the age profile of our team when the save started initially suggested we would need to replace in a load of key areas at round about this time. I'll be grooming a young midfielder to soon take the place of assist king Christopher Theisen (31) who had a great season but is starting to show signs of decline. Thankfully our intakes have been excellent, and this season's was no exception. During the season the board agreed to upgrade both youth recruitment and junior coaching from excellent to exceptional despite our finances being mostly taken up by the construction of our new 15,000 seater stadium. That doesn't look like such a wise move now, given we averaged 14,803 fans while playing in neighbouring Erfurt this season, and now have the attraction of top flight teams visiting. Nonetheless, they're still willing to fund youth upgrades and we had another great intake this year. This is the first time I've experienced this, but it doesn't look like we'll miss him too much. A player cut off by the screenshot here is Niklas Wettengl, a 15 year old centre-back already good enough to compete with my first team defenders. He would have gone straight into the team if he was old enough to play, so will likely make his debut and feature a fair bit in the top flight next season. I know this team has exceeded my expectations in every season to date, but I expect the Bundesliga will be a different story entirely. I don't see many if any teams we can expect to beat, and I expect we will probably come straight back down and that relegation may lead some of our best prospects seeking a move away. Money like this certainly isn't a bad thing though! At the very end of the season our training facilities were downgraded, but we could comfortably pay the £1m needed to upgrade them back to their previous level. Popular Post dkouv
Sant Andreu – Season 3 (2024/25) Primera RFEF Grupo I We tried our best to achieve automatic promotion, but in the end we were just not consistent enough, and had to settle for 3rd place and the playoffs. In the semi final, we faced Valencia Mestalla. I feared the worst after we missed a host of early chances, including a penalty, but we prevailed after scoring 3 in the second half. In the final, we faced Extremadura who finished 2nd in our league on 82 points, and have a very strong team. I wasn’t too optimistic when they went 1-0 up after 4 minutes, but it was just one of those games, everything we hit flew in, our keeper played a blinder, and we overturned the deficit to thump them 4-1 and secure promotion. So an amazing season, kudos to all the players, don’t think we’ll stay up next season but the TV money will be very handy given that we’re bleeding money and our finances are insecure. Players: Probably strictly speaking Sergio Mulero was our best player, netting 27 goals and 6 assists, and Aarón Hontoria 01a is the best attributes wise - he’s developed so much better than everyone else, and is now rated as a good player for La Liga 2, whereas the rest of the first team is decent Primera RFEF / leading Segunda standard. But I have to give my favourite player award to our AMC turned full back Jaime Vladegut 01b, who turned around that playoff final on his own, scoring a 30-yard screamer to equalise and assisting the next two goals. I have to say, I would never play a full back with a tackling of 5 if I could buy players but there are advantages to having all these attacking skills at his disposal. In general, I’m noticing how much harder it is to improve players on this FM, they really need gametime so the few that are getting it are mostly developing nicely, the others more or less not at all, which makes it even harder to give games to these low CA players with high potential. Youth intake (preview): Not too thrilled, only one 5* player and no full backs. But on the plus side, the new HOYD seems to have improved the personalities, and I finally have some keeper prospects. I even made Héctor Alvarez 03c my starting GK for the last few games, including the playoffs, since my old GK was so poor, and he did fine. Facilities / finances: Training facilities downgraded and insecure finances, I am waiting for that TV money! Popular Post TheWillsy
South Shields season 15: 2036-37 This was our second shot at the premier league and I was determined to stay up this time. In the end we played pretty well against the teams around us and were able to pick up the golden 40 points in order to stay up. We were still getting beaten heavily by most teams in the top 8, but we were good enough against the lower teams that it did not matter so much. We played weak sides in the cups again and didn't get far. 5* preview again with a full back at last! And it was a decent intake with some good personalities. Kinsella will probably end up taking over at right back in a few years, and Wakefield looks like he will be a good midfielder for us. We used a 433 for most of the season but we were pretty inconsistent. I am tempted to switch back to the diamond next season or maybe move to 3atb with wing backs as I am struggling to get good performances from my wingers. We have now maxed out all our facilities and still have 100m in the bank. 2 more years until we move to our new stadium. At the moment the aim is to still just survive in the prem and play the waiting game for the upgraded facilities to kick in with better intakes coming through.
smp20
A promising first intake with two exciting prospects despite our rubbish facilities and financial state. Although we have big issues at the moment: Just 6 games left and we're 5 points adrift from safety. We face Regensburg which is as must win as games get!

DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2024 Ungmennafélagið Samherjar Season Summary A fabulous season where an unbeaten league campaign has endured we have finally climbed out of the fifth tier. Season Details League Table - We were top from the off and never looked back. League Fixtures - An undefeated league campaign is more than I could ask for. Promotion Playoffs - I feared the worst after being drawn against bogey side Reynir H. in the semi final, but I need not have worried as we comfortably made it through to the final, where we proved to be too strong and secured our promotion to the fourth tier. Mjólkurbikarinn - A second round loss away to fourth tier side Kára ended our interest in the domestic cup. Lengjubikarinn C - We had our best run to date, reaching the semi finals before, just like last year, we lost at home to Reynir H. By winning all of our group games, we once again finished top of our mini league. Pre Season Friendlies - We started slowly though recovered to win our last seven games, making for a successful pre season campaign. Squad - As our youth intakes get better, our squad is improving significantly. Squad Dynamics - After such a great season, this is as good as you would expect it to be. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Two players left on free transfers after refusing new deals. Both left for second tier outfit Njarðvíkur. Youth Candidates - It was another terrific intake with left back Valdimar Valdimarsson YP24E37 being the clear standout player. Finances - A small profit was made this year, so we remain, albeit only just, in the black. Key Players Guðmunder Arnason - Our main striker had a better goal return this year. Snæþor Haukur Heiðarsson - The versatile midfielder was our best player this season. Haukur Kristjánsson YP23J26 - The right back, in his first full season with the squad, was a revelation. Hrannar Guðlaugsson YP23B18 - The central defender made himself one of the first names on the team sheet. Sigurður K. Hermannsson YP22A1 - It was a decent enough season from our number one. Next Season I would be delighted with a top half finish in the fourth tier. Popular Post Winski
We are now halfway season 6; season 2027/2028. And it's going very well! In Europe we didn't qualify for the Group Stage of the Conference League. In the Second Qual. Round we won against Rijkeka, quite easy as well. Then in the next round we met Hammerby IF. With an 2-2 away result and 2-1 win at home we can only be very happy. And then, in the Fourth and last round before the Group Stage, we met Lyon. Probably the strongest team we could met. They have such a strong team.... so it's not a shame that we lost both matches. I'm a bit dissapointed that we didn't qualify for the group stage, but with such a heavy draw I can live with it. In the league, we are now fourteen matches unbeaten. We started badly, mainly because we also played European matches in those weeks. But now we are 14 matches unbeaten, with a second place as a result. Lechia is stil THE team to beat this season, although they are not as stable as last season. We lost the away match against them, so hopefully we can win the home match. It would be wonderful if we can maintain this form and fight for the title until the very last day! I also want to highlight two players: Kondak 26D and Grobelny 26F. Kondak 26D is already a key player, with 15 league goals in 37 matches. He is developing into a great player for us. On the left a screenshot of the intake-day, on the right a recent screenshot. Grobelny 26F, also from Class 2026, only played 3 matches for us. But his training rates in the U19 team were very high, and his progress was wonderful. So I decided to promote him to the first team, about two in-game months ago. Check his progress... it's only a matter of time until this lad is a key player for us as well. The main reason that these players are developing so well are our facilities. We now have Excellent training facilities and great youth facilities. Junior Coaching is now Excellent and youth recruitment is Exceptional. All thanks to the Champions League money from last season. And in Feb. 2028 is the next update ready for our Youth Facilities. Last but not least: the youth intake preview. It's a Golden Generation, if I may believe my HoYD Nicolas Seube.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Barraccas Central Argentina Premier Division 2027/28 (season 6) Season Summary So survival was the main goal and we got off to a great start, winning 4 of our first 6 games. But if we thought it was easy the next few months rectified that. Only one win in the next 13 games and we were 19th and looking in serious trouble. But then we manged to win 3 either side of the winter break and started looking safe again. With around 9 games to play we were 8 points clear of relegation, 1 point behind continental qualification and looking good. So obviously we went on a run of 6 games without a win leaving us only a point ahead of relegation with three games to play. But then we won, won away at Lanus and then faced double winners Boca in the final game, which we also won. So three wins in our final 3 games and we somehow stole the last continental spot! That's the mad thing about Argentina. 20 teams, 4 relegations and the top 12 qualify for continental competitions! Players It was the final season for some of this team, including Vasquez, our top scorer for the last few seasons. He'll be around next season but his physical attributes absolutely fell off a cliff in the second half of the season. it's a wonder he can even still stand up. So next season we'll be starting with an 18 year old up front. I haven't decided which one yet though.... Could be a disaster, who knows! Youth An odd one. Underwhelming preview followed by very nice intake! our best one yet! three elite talents! woooooo! Gordillo looks the best. I'm gonna retrain him as a striker, he looks ideal. Next season might be too soon to throw him into the first team though. Finances and Upgrades Still a disaster zone. there is just no money in Argentinian football! In England promotion to the premier league gets you like a bazillion pounds, whereas here you get a piece of string and some pebbles. Really annoying cos my facilities keep getting downgraded and i cannot afford to upgrade them again. gah! I'm well under the wage budget as well. And there's not much interest in my players either.... Career
Popular Post DrJones
Truro City 2025/2026 A hard fought season but we were able to keep a decent gap to the relegation zone. We finished the season poorly and lost a few positions in the table unfortunately. I think this level is perfect for us, I noticed a big change in the players development and with the team having so low wages we are actually making some money and we were able to upgrade both youth recruitment and our youth level grade! The only table we were dominating were the ones for yellow and red cards. It has been a bit frustrating to watch my players murder opponents every week to be honest.. Squad Youth Intake What a guy! Our best defender by far! Come on you white tigers!
JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2035/36 I liked to think that we're not a terrible side, but our hot and cold form continued, and we were actually struggling against a 3rd tier side. We did however beat Tondela, so I know that we can beat some of the best teams in the league on paper at least. We didn't play a lot of games, but we're still on the borderline top-half and mid-table, and we're 10 points clear of the relegation playoffs, which is a plus for me. We also managed to improve our youth facilities, which I am hoping that we can produce even more monsters going forward on from here. We did have an issue with Vítor Ventura wanting to leave us and we managed to convince him to only leave us for his release clause. We also showed our cup defeat against Paços de Ferreira in our latest video too. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2035/36 Youth Intake Preview So our latest games have been rather bleak. We're been poor in front of goals and struggling tom keep clean sheets as well. We did play against 4 really good sides, but it wasn't ideal to must this up so much, even if we got our first draw of the season. Despite only getting 4 points in 5 games, we've still managed to improve our gap to the relegation playoffs, so I like to believe we should still be safe this season. We also got given our latest youth intake preview, and we've been promised a great defensive midfielder, a good wide midfielder, a good attacking midfielder and potentially a nice winger. Hopefully we can get some good players in 3 months time. The latest video went live and I actually got frustrated. I know that we have been playing against 4 of the top 7 sides (yes Sporting are further down, but they have so many games in hand). However, we need to start improving our form again and soon. Popular Post thomas_e
SpVgg Unterhaching Season Summary 2037 - 2038 Bundesliga champions and a consecutive Champions League final loss After three consecutive years finishing 2nd, we finally managed to snatch the Bundesliga title. Bayer Leverkusen were the top spenders in the summer transfer window and after a few anonymous years they made a solid push for the title. Borussia Dortmund had been almost unbeatable for the last few seasons, but injuries made it a difficult year for them. We were side by side with Leverkusen the whole season and it went down to the last game. We beat Hoffenheim comfortably 3-0 at home, which was important considering that Leverkusen won their last game 10-1 (!!!) against FC Koln. Overall we were really solid, but we actually finished with 8 points less than last season, when we didn't manage to win the title. Our biggest strength has definitely been that we don't drop many points against the weaker sides, but we still struggle against the top teams, especially on the road. The team strengths are definitely in the offensive aspects of the game, especially centrally, where we are terrific. Jasper Berg finished as the Bundesliga top scorer, with 30 goals. In the Champions League last year we lost the final against Dortmund, and this season would see us once again finishing as runner-ups. We won our group with Athletic Club, Inter and Zulte Waregem, before beating Zenit, Atletico Madrid and Man Utd on the way to the final. We faced Bayern Munchen in the final and a very even game ended with a 1-0 loss. Losing two Champions League finals in two seasons really isn't great and we had a great opportunity to complete the challenge. Our youth intakes the last three seasons have been so extremely poor that I haven't even bothered posting them. Our HOYD for the last three years is great on paper, but we are getting absolutely shocking intakes. He is in the last year of his contract and it wont be renewed unless I see a big improvement! I will be resting players a lot more in the Bundesliga this year, a top 4 finish is good enough as long as we can have fresh legs for every CL game. Popular Post WhiteCat33
Nogometni Klub Pobrezje: 2041/42 – Slovenian 1st Liga (Season 18) Season Review: https://imgur.com/a/GcNxnrs Performance This season we were gifted with an unexpected early appearance in EC2 with our Cup win last year. I set my sights on making the most of it even if it crippled our League and Domestic Cup performance. EC2 I was extremely worried with our initial draw of Lokomotiv Moscow. Basically the hardest team available so early in EC2. They have 7 first team players on the Russian national team and numerous youth internationals. Yet we soundly beat them at home 2-0, and then followed that up with a 3-2 victory in Moscow. I credit this win to the AI's routine failure to schedule early friendlies to get teams ready for early round continental completions. Next we traveled to Denmark to take on Silkeborg IF. Unlike Lokomotiv, they are a primarily grey team; however, with 2.5* reputation the players were comparable to ours. We were able to take them both matches 1-0, which were low XG affairs where we dominated possession. Then we faced neighboring Austrian team Sportverinigung Ried. Similarly they are almost entirely grey, but are 3* reputation so the players were tougher. We got crazy lucky with a 0-0 draw away due to 2 disallowed goals for SV Ried. We turned it around with a convincing 3-0 home win, which sees us to make a group stage appearance and more importantly get the guaranteed $3.47 Million in prize money!! For the group-stage draw we were in the 4th pot so this is how it looked: Groups C & E are out due to our domestic competition already being selected in, which does eliminate having to deal with BMG, but does still leave some nasty groups as well as gift group D. Our draw luck was strong here as we got the final slot into Group H, which I'd consider the 2nd easiest available to us: We started strong in the group and then fell off in December as the insane fixture congestion just murdered all my players. But hey a 2-2-2 record for this surprise early run into EC2 is way way beyond expectations. It gets better though! EC2 uses Head-to-Head as the first tiebreaker so we actually got 2nd in this group where no one was convincing because we beat and tied Saraejvo. This gives us a little extra prize money as well as Here our draw luck decided to leave us as we were given PSV as our opponent when Olimpija got Shamrock Rovers! Great to see all 3 of us advance though, as that will do well for slowly getting the Slovenian European Coefficient higher. Unsurprisingly it was no contest for PSV to wipe our young team 7-1 on aggregate. They do have a full team and have held onto/acquired a good number of Dutch internationals, so good to see them as an actual legitimate squad. Thus ends our first foray into Europe, a very very profitable endeavor. League No surprise that extended European campaign absolutely crippled us in the domestic league. By Christmas we were tied for bottom of the league with just an absolutely ugly -21 GD. Sadly things didn't pickup much when we came back from break and we entered a true relegation battle for the final 5 games of the season. And again, things just can't go well for us as the legs and bodies are just absolutely exhausted and the subs, who weren't tired just aren't good at all to the extent that many of the defensive options are bigger liabilities than tired first team players. Because of this we just couldn't keep it together for a whole match and went on an absolute draw-fest. This sets up a final battle of the league season to see who will go to the relegation playoff. Radomlje have 1 point on us, so we have to win.... Relegation playoffs are two legged here in Slovenia. And it was a good thing too because we did not show up in the first away fixture at Koper. They had 2 shots on target and 2 goals. Granted we didn't shoot well at all ourselves, but man that was a kick in the gut. . We rebounded in the home leg and were able to put in our 2 goals to match theirs. We play out to extra time and it remains 2-2 so we are heading to a shootout No surprise our PK taking is questionable. Luckily we have a 6'5" GK and he makes 2 saves so my one player skying the ball over the bar doesn't immediately kill our chances. It’s down to my Team Leader and AMR/Striker to save us right here and not make it go into the sudden death where we have absolute trash pk takers But of course he MISSESS! But thank god on the next kick my GK comes up big and stops his 3rd of 6 and then Matija Cipot 39f, my backup 18 year old CAM comes through and saves us from relegation! We have the honor of setting the record for the lowest points total for a non-relegated team Cup - Second Round defeat by Celje, which was the first game we played. Whatever, we didn't need the fixtures. Squad Notice the number of appearances. Our normal season is 36 games, but our entire starting lineup did more than that with most in the mid 40s and our keeper playing in an astounding 51 games. Transfers Over the winter window Bravo decided they wanted one of our strikers again (after selling an earlier player to Maribor) and paid a very large 2.2M for Franc Gulic 34e who failed to make a single league appearance for Olimpija and only a handful of continental substitute appearances. This will give us 850k in transfer bringing his total up to 1.3M for us, which isn't half bad. Finances We had essentially 4x the income this year from last year, and that is only as high as it was due to almost 1m in player sales. Compared to what we would expect in a regular season it was easily 10x. This will easily save us selling off a whole generation of players and will jump-start our facility improvements as I started with a true bottom stat club for this Slovenian challenge. Club Upgrades I did as many upgrades during the season as possible to minimize the taxbill, but unfortunately could only get 2 Training facility and 1 Youth locked in before the tick-over. I did try to expand the stadium, but the council shot it down. I'll be looking to build a new one instead as my current can only be expanded to 5k and is currently 500 so its probably cheaper to start from scratch. Even after these upgrades we have 3M in cash (with a 600k tax payment to come) so I easily can do a second Youth upgrade. Youth Academy YI Preview Youth Intake Honestly, the stars make it look better than it really is. The top 7 are all just okay but will all come down to if they develop well. None got me excited of an improvement in any position, but we need cover and we are due for a cleanout of the old part-time/amateur players who are just floating around but never playing. Surprisingly these are my first Serbian players as the club has an 80% natural knowledge there as well as Bosnia. We aren't quite high enough recognition to get international affiliates, but soon that will be the priority to scoop up the best talent in the smaller Balkan nations. Popular Post The7Striker
C.E Jenlai 2023/2024 Season Finances Transfers Squad A good balance in the bank, due to TV money and LLiga prize but still insufficient to the board alow me to start an academy, so the squad is the same like las year. During the season we had a Takeover and a few job interviews. Something that i notice is that we have a Colombia Affiliate. Cant wait to see some gems pop up. Lliga Multisegur Assegurances Season Prev Games I Games II Past Positions League went better than I initially expected with only 2 points separate us from the Champions. Quality still very similiar in a few teams. Atlètic was hard to beat but more frustrating was Engordany. Thoose guys really counter us in every single game. Leandro Quinhentas still score some goals that help us massively. Copa Constitució Superb run! Superb run! Even though we were defeated, it shows fantastic progress with the limitations we have Upgrades The board alow me to take two more licences and i hope that helps in the training ground. Andorra Team They were beaten with no mercy and thats reflects in the poor ranking. Hope in a few years I can help to change that.
