Daddy
2 hours ago, Flashman\'s School Days said: Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season 2032 Review Manager Characteristics - Manager Atrributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1, 2, 3 Campeonato Uruguayo - WINNERS! Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores - WINNERS! CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana - WINNERS! League and Recopa Sudamericana One of the most amazing seasons I think I've had in FM. We started the year with the U19s winning the Copa Libertadores U20 tournament, they would also go on to win the league and then the reserves also won the league. Meanwhile with the first team we started off the season playing the Recopa Sudamericana which is essentially the South American Super Cup. This was against the back to back reigning Copa Libertadores champions Sao Paulo, dropping the first leg at home, I was pessimistic about our chances in the away leg but we came out all guns blazing and were 4-1 up in the tie with 20 mins to go when they hit two goals in two minutes to bring the scores level on aggregate. I hadn't looked at the rules so I actually thought we were going to win on away goals so I was slightly surprised when it went to extra time where we able to grab a deserved winner. We were actually predicted a 4th placed finish by the media before the season began so we always had a chance of fighting for the title but with my abysmal record against Penarol, I wasn't completely confident and we ended up finishing second to them in the opening stage with us both only losing 1 game (All three of our defeats this season were 1-0 losses to MC Torque). In the Intermedio we were in a different group to Penarol and they really messed up, dropping points in three games, we only dropped points in one game to MC Torque but had overtaken them on the overall table. Unfortunately they started the closing stage like a bat out of hell and won every game until they played us, we stormed ahead to a 4-1 lead despite having never even managed to score 3 in a single game against them previously, they scored two really late goals to make me nervous but we held on and would only not win one more game in the league season to win the closing stage. This set up the playoff game between us which was a one legged affair, considering we had only recently beaten them for the first time we actually dealt with them so comfortably they only managed 4 shots with none on target. After the game I found out that this game meant we had won the league which was really confusing because every other season when there has been a playoff game there is also then a champions playoff two legged fixture and I had obviously not understood the reason for these games and playing the game on 2D I had missed the trophy presentation if there was one. Having looked back at previous playoffs, the champions playoff is only played if the overall champions lose that single playoff game. Copa Libertadores We began this campaign in the group stage because of our Copa Sudamericana win last season. We were in a group with Sport Boys, fellow Uruguayan side Liverpool and Rosario Central who we had traded wins with in two separate Copa Sudamericana campaigns. The group was quite easy apart from the Rosario games, where we both won our home games against each other but Liverpool did us a favour by drawing and beating them in their two games. Finishing top of the group we got drawn against another Argentine side in Godoy Cruz, winning well in the away leg but not managing to put them to the sword so we came away with only a 1-0 lead, we then took and early lead in the home leg before they got a red card on 26 mins and from there we absolutely destroyed them 7-0. This set up yet another meeting with Rosario Central and we again traded home wins but our 5-3 home win was enough to overcome a 2-1 defeat, we made the second leg harder than it needed to be, conceding 3 goals from 3 shots on target. That qualified us for the semi finals along with Nacional, Penarol and Sao Paulo, so three Uruguayan sides making it to the final four along with the team that had made the last three finals winning the last two. We were paired with Nacional who I held out more hope against than playing Penarol. We made a bit of a mess of the first leg away from home as we were 2-1 up, they had a man sent off before the hour mark and we managed to concede another to leave with a draw. The second leg was something I have never witnessed in FM, we scored in the sixth minute, they equalised in the ninth, we went ahead in the tenth and by the eighteenth we were 4-1 up and then just before half time we were 7-1 up with two players getting hattricks, we ended the half scoring an own goal to make it 7-2. Rarely have I seen one of my teams hit 7 goals in a game, let alone in the first half of a second leg of a continental semi final. It was a fairly quiet second half but Nacional were able to make it less embarrassing by getting two goals in the 89th and 93rd minutes. The Final Sao Paulo came through the other semi final for their fourth consecutive final appearance. We were pretty much at full strength going into the final and had a decent rest of 13 days before the game and we started a similar way to the second leg of the semi final, scoring within 2 minutes of the kick off. The game was going our way and they hadn't had a single shot before the 39th minute when we gave away a penalty after a long throw, they buried it to bring it level but that was only to be for a few minutes when we went back ahead with a well worked move for a tap in. We carried on the game looking comfortable and creating decent chances whilst Sao Paulo weren't really threatening but then they hit us with a back post header from a corner on the hour mark. Again the game continued very much in the same vein but we couldn't fashion another goal so it went into extra time, this proved to be just as fruitless for us and the game drifted to penalties. I had specifically trained penalties the day before the game because usually my teams are garbage in shootouts but it seemed to really pay off. Both teams were perfect for the first 8 pens before Sao Paulo missed their fifth, I thought "if we don't win it with this penalty then we won't win this shootout", so inevitably we missed it. Sao Paulo players seemed to keep coming up and slotting them away with ease until we saved their 8th penalty. Marcos Bica 30d, born in Tacuarembó and a Tacuarembó supporter stepped up to win it, and win it he did. Of the 12 players we used in the final, 9 of them were born in Tacuarembó which made it even more special. Squad The Copa Liberatores winning side: Federico Rivero 22e Ignacio Tambasco 29e Daniele Cavagna 29a Enrique Polo 28b Marcos Bica 30d Nicolás Müller 26b Fernando Céspedes 22b César Rodríguez 29c Mateo Charamoni Bruno Bica Leandro Prado 27i Nicolás Marichal 31a was the other player to play in the final, he finally became 17 this season so was able to start using him in the league as well. Pedro Borches 27h was unlucky to miss out but I felt that I had to play Mateo Charamoni as it will probably be his last hurrah and I owe him as club captain and consistently one of the best players. Armando Benítez was also unlucky to miss out but he hadn't been performing quite as well against the top opposition anymore. Guillermo Charamoni 30a started to get some proper first team game time this season and smashed in 11 goals in 12 league starts and 2 in 2 starts in the Copa Libertadores. Thankfully it didn't hamper us winning the CL but Santiago Noy 28e was bought for his release clause of £1.4M at the start of the season and then Adolfo Castro 29b went in the same fashion in the August for £1.6M, at that point he had 5 goals and 14 assists in 17 games so it was pretty gut wrenching to lose him for so little. Youth Intake Another Golden Generation with a lot of exciting players. Sebastián González 32f, Diego Mautone 32j, Jorge Garay 32c, José Peña 32e and the top guy Andrés Camacho 32a. Finances We made an absolute killing in prize money as well as over £3M in transfer fees this season and this is after three facility upgrades. We are still waiting to move into the new stadium which hopefully will only add to the positive bank balance. Future Plans Despite having completed the challenge I'm not really ready to leave the save or Uruguay, it's such a fun place to play and I really love the club so I think I will keep playing, maybe try and get to the Club World Cup and see how we fare in that. Manager History Congrats! I hope to win the Liberatores as well soon!

libbyshuss
Marbella FC Spain La Liga 2 2026/27 (season 5) Season Summary So a pretty absurd season all told! League - It was quite exciting going into Liga 2 but I knew it was a pretty huge jump from tier 3. First problem I had was with registration. There's a rule that all registered players have to have at least a 1.3k a week wage. I only had 5 players elligible! So i had to offer a lot of new contracts, but as money was tight I went for a smallish squad of about 14. So I figured I'd just take the extra money and have fun getting some experience for the youngsters. I was hopeful we could take some of that momentum from last season into this new one but I wasn't quite prepared for the start. 7 wins in a row! They were all fairly close games though which could have gone either way so I was prepared for the regression to the mean coming with a winless run. But when it came it kept going - only 3 victories in the next 21 league games! So...... 28 league games in, 10 victories, nicely mid-table. But we were in danger of being dragged into trouble. But then March came with 4 victories and we were safe! It might only be for another season, we're still a very young side. Players Such a young side, it was crazy. The experience of La Liga 2 football hopefully wull stand them in good stead though. To see so many of our youth players keep us in La Liga 2 is amazing to be honest. And we've got a handful of 16/17 year olds in the wings who look like they could be just as good. Youth Another nice preview and intake. And another golden generation, apparently. I love all those As!!!!! Not that you can put too much faith in those previews..... I was quite pleased to see a few more nationalities appear. I don't have any affiliates set up yet so I wasn't really expecting. An Indian left back looks intriguing - possibly our first international player? Finances and Upgrades So here is where La Liga 2 makes a difference. Down in the thrid tier we were losing money hand over fist, partly due to our paltry income. But this season saw our intake from TV rights jump from 50k to 4.5m! So we made a nice big profit over the season and finally finished in the green. It also meant the board were happy for me to finally get some upgrades. So I went shopping! Jumping two grades in youth recruitment is a huge bonus and with any luck will make a nice difference to next seasons intake. So both on and off the pitch we had our best season yet and sets up really nicely for the future. Even if we get relegated next season we'll be well set. Not really in any kind of danger and in the end we got promoted!! Outside of the pitch, the bank balance is okay-ish but I hope we can get more money to improve the team. Popular Post Cheez3y
Here we go! I finally got the right feeling for the Youth Challenge. This one I wanted to do for a very loooong time. Burger BC is my hometown club, where I played until the age of 15. Then I need to choose between football and school. I created the real kits and I added a special third kit, which come close to the pre-WWII days. Spoiler The AI gave us a balanced squad, we only missing a striker. So why not play strikerless in div 6...what can go wrong.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Energie Cottbus - Season 2023/24 - 3. Liga Squad | Transfers | Finances As was evident from last season, the team is pretty good and capable of competing at this level. When we avoided the horrible start we had last time, it was no surprise to see us fight along the top from the start. Outside a mini dip in form where we lost two and drew two around October we had a really good season. 1860 München took an early lead, but we were in a pack alongside Hansa Rostock, Karlsruhe, and Ingolstadt that hunted them just a few points behind. As the season rolled one by one dropped off, but 1860 München maintaned a 3 to 6 point lead that we just couldn't catch. With 10 matches left, we had left the rest of the pack behind us and tried to close the gap up. It looked very likely we would get promoted, but when we lost at home to Karlsruhe in the 5th last match, I expected us to only get 2nd place. However, 1860 München lost not long after away to Hansa Rostock, so we we were still only a point behind them going into the final match day where we would meet them at home. A win would see us champions, a draw or loss would make sure 1860 München would win it. We started great and got the lead after only 4 minutes. We continued to dominate and netted a 2nd goal just after the half hour mark. From then on we controlled the match and just closed it out to be crowned champions! A fantastic season, and I'm looking forward to playing at a higher tier to see how we fare there. We didn't compete in any cups this season. Financially we are losing a lot of money, but I think we will get a fair boost next season after the promotion. The only improvement are the licenses I have done. So far the Continental B is done, and I'm working on the Continental A. The new stadium seems to be continuing. Youth intake: When the preview said 3 'A' players, this was quite the let down... Hassan Sesay 24a is the best of the bunch. Quite a nice defender. Trophy cabinet 3. Liga - 1 (2023/24)
Popular Post Daddy
2035 Season Review: Coming out of Libertadores and Chile Cup the team was tired and injured and that bled into start up after the midseason break. Finished strong to claim third, but not enough to get 2nd and be placed into group stage. The board accepted that offer and I didn't even get to protest. I'm not a fan of the takeover we got. They also took 75% of the balance for stock dividends. That keeps me from upgrades to facilities. Climb in status to Continental which will hopefully help with the "bigger club" issue. some awards/records and another first cap. 2035 Youth Intake: Another very top heavy intake. No one jumping into first team. 2036 Season Preview: I expect another top 3 finish.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
Nogometni Klub Pobrezje: 2043/44 – Slovenian 1st Liga (Season 20) Season Review: https://imgur.com/a/cx2NyG0 Performance EC2: Group Stage 4th Place Qualification Campaign - Game by game on Imgur for those interested. While I wouldn't have said we were favorites in every matchup, luck was on our side compared to what is out there. Group stage - The objective for EC2 right now is just to farm the prize money for making group stages, so I played all backups during the competition and we went 0-2-3 which unsurprisingly put us dead last. League: 3rd Place & EC2 Qualification We very clearly made it as the top 3 this year and held either 2nd or 3rd after the initial qualification congestion. We dropped too many points during the qualification campaign to realistically overtake Maribor who have become the team to beat in Slovenia recently. We went 1-1-2 against them this year in the league and went 1-0-3 against Olimpija, so we clearly have a ways to go to become the top team domestically. Cup: Second Round Put in reserves and we got humiliated by Tabor Sezana a yo-yo team who we should comfortably beat. Squad The squad is stable right now and we were able to negotiate with the board new contracts for our star players so I'm not worried about anyone leaving due to a contract dispute anytime soon. There are a few release clauses that could cause some issues, but thats the only way to sign contracts for the younger talents like Luka Panic 41b (CB we play at LB) and Dalibor Horvat 40c (Mezzala / BPD) . These are the the only 18 year olds now, with the rest of the squad between 20-24. My two current star players, who will be having the large contracts are my Striker & GK To get this high of a contract took a board negotiation, but he's well worth it especially considering we have really only 1 other striker who I play as an IF on the right. Unfortunately he is inconsistent so the goal streaks are all over the place. But when he turns up, he's a top Striker for our domestic league and demonstrated it by being the leading scorer this season with 21 goals in 34 appearances. Not insane numbers, but serviceable. At 6'5" with a good personality he is my Vice Captain and I hope to have him around for a long time. For the first time in awhile we are awash in GK talent, so we will be needing to loan some out for development just in case I ever lose this man. My RB is my current captain and man does he just absolutely crush any dissent in the locker room, anytime someone tries to get a new contract or move clubs he changes their minds. I don’t think it does anything but his 19 aggression makes me think he threatens to beat the crap out of anyone who would undo the perfect atmosphere at the club. He gets a lot of cards, but he's got Top Consistency & relishes big matches so he's a good mentor. Youth Academy YI Preview - We need more offense so this isn’t ideal especially no strikers?!? Youth Intake The midfielders are better than the preview had me believe. Granted they aren’t super great, but still they could develop well possibly. Another good GK in the pipeline which is good because I’ll probably have to sell my awesome current GK as I can’t get the board to raise the wages. Maybe next year? Ended up taking 7. A 100% Slovenian intake this year. New "HOYD" After this strikerless intake I was done with our current guy. I brought in a new U19 Head Coach and I’m going to set him to find our youth players instead of our HOYD. He’s a real player in Italy so its nice I’ll get second national knowledge for Italy (though he will most likely drop knowledge over time). He’s better than our current HOYD and is one of the rare few of these coaches who will sign a normal wage. No one wants to come here yet who isn't Slovenian... Poaches As tends to happen when you switch HOYD we got 2 players poached Club Improvements We doubled down on Youth Facilities this season with our prize money Player Awards Club & Nation Rankings While the national competition ranking hasn't been something to focus on, because of the surprising large number of Slovenian teams who have been making group stage appearances we have bumped up way higher in the coefficient table than our national competition would indicate. While the Slovenian 1st League is only the 20th ranked competition, our national coefficient is now 14th. I realized when this happened I haven't been tracking the coefficient which is a shame, but will add it now. And of course another EC2 Group Stage for us shoots us up the rankings though we are still a minnow for sure. Excel: I won't be putting them on this post. I've played another whole season as I've been slow to post on here so will put them on the final post.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
Nogometni Klub Pobrezje: 2044/45 – Slovenian 1st Liga (Season 21) Season Review: https://imgur.com/a/HeawCm6 Performance EC2: Group Stage 3rd Place Qualification Campaign - As evident through the screenshots, it was a very similar experience to last season. the middle game should have been the challenge but the opponent underperformed and then we were almost upset by the 3rd team that had hardly any real players. All that maters is we made it to the group stage and get that critical $3.74M to keep improving facilities and pay bloating salaries. Group Stage - We had both an easier group and a much better league schedule that allowed us to actually use starters against the weakest team in the group Osijek giving us our wins and the resulting 2-2-2 record. Cup - CHAMPIONS!!! And we absolutely deserved this one, unlike the first where we played all 2nd league teams. Mura was the team we beat last time in the Cup final, and they were our first game. Then 2 yo-yo / mid table teams that we convincingly put away 3-0 each. And then our city rivals and league champions Maribor who we dispatched with 2 first half goals and held on to claim our second domestic cup. Its even better though as due to the drastic increase in the Slovenian national coefficient our cup now gives us Euro Cup qualification! League 4th Place - While we deserved to be in the top pack 4/5 is appropriate with the strength I was seeing in the other teams this year. Squad Our Inside Forward Anej Oblak 35d has had an awful season of injuries, but luckily we have just enough cover to fill his gap. Youth Academy YI Preview: very nice for a first year Not bad really, a few interesting one’s at the top though of course none are out of this world good. Will all depend on development to see if any can break into the first team. The AMs have the highest chance. Took 5. Youth Intake U19 Coach (Purveyor of Youth) For the first time I noticed a change in a coaches Personality from Resolute to Driven and he gained Italy knowledge when he went up a coaching badge. Club Improvements With winning the Domestic Cup we got a big boost of reputation that finally convinced the board to let me look for foreign scouting affiliates. We picked up a Hungarian club that has Average youth recruitment even though they are yo-yos between the 2nd and 3rd divisions. Awards Our same two players get the same awards Excel My current players are senior enough now they are starting to take over the Career records as they've had 7 or 8 seasons as starters, which is just as long if not longer than any of my lower league players. I've started including in parentheses the all match stat as we are playing more and more continental and cup matches, which weren't a thing at the start. You can see the just explosion of upgrades that are happening at the club now as long as we keep up the form. I've been pretty happy with how well exactly the upgrades are equaling the prize money, which has enabled us to minimize our taxable profits and get almost a 100% conversion of prizes into club investments. The one big glaring issue is our stadium. I'm pretty sure its bugged because every time I try to expand it the final event after the planning session never triggers. So I'll be waiting a long time till the board just give up and build a new stadium. Right now it really isn't an issue because all our Continental matches are played at Maribor's 12.5k stadium because our grass field isn't anywhere near the capacity minimums for EC2.

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2035/36 Despite having a good time at times, we did end up with only one victory in five matches, and then got smashed 4-0 by Porto, and it wasn't a good time. We ended up finishing in 12th place in the end, which is honestly probably a blessing in disguise. Perhaps we should have done better, but we secured our best points tally so far in the top flight. What is expected is that Ventura is going to be leaving as a result of all of the teams that are interested. Still, we can hopefully we can make a lot of money from Ventura, but the video linked below will show how badly Porto tore us to pieces. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2035/36 Season Review So the end of the season saw Santa Clara survive in the top flight despite only claiming 21 points in the season, which is a pretty poor season by their own standards. The huge news was the fact that Vítor Ventura has officially left us for £32M, with over £17M coming up front and a 40% percentage of next sale. Which is huge for the club. This sale has ensured that the club's financial future is secured. Seeing the instalments of £7.73M in the last two seasons is also great for us and we're now expecting another £15M in the next two seasons. Getting this sort of balance after so many years of struggling to keep financially afloat has made me feel very relieved. It also means that we can also start improving our facilities immediately. The7Striker
7 minutos atrás, JLAB disse: Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2035/36 Season Review So the end of the season saw Santa Clara survive in the top flight despite only claiming 21 points in the season, which is a pretty poor season by their own standards. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 14 – 2036/37 Season Preview So the next pre-season is looking like we will be struggling to survive after the sell of Vítor Ventura, but we have managed to ensure that our training and youth facilities will be upgraded, which is wonderful. We did play our first game of the campaign in the Allianz Cup and I was hoping to ensure that we could get off to a good start. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 15 – 2036/37 This is the worst start to a league campaign I've ever endured as the manager of Beira-Mar so far. Some of the games we lost we should not be losing, even of we stole a point off Porto. Something wasn't working, so I needed to fix it and quickly. Despite our poor start to the point against Porto has kept us from being in the bottom 3 and I have never felt as troubled by a season than I have this one. The video linked below has shown just how poor we have been so far this season, and I find myself wondering if Ventura's departure really has had this big of an impact to the side. My word have we been poor. JLAB's YAC with Beira-Mar Part 99
JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 15 – 2036/37 Season Turns out that the international break was all we needed to get ourselves back on form. We managed to steal another point off Sporting CP and win 3 league games, while progressing to the next round of the Taça de Portugal, even if Benfica beat us in the Allianz Cup group stage, a group stage we've yet to win in surprisingly. Still, we did manage to get ourselves away from the relegation zone, but we need to pick up more points if we can at least claim to be getting away from the relegation battle, which quite frankly is the main aim for the season once again. Still the video linked below has shown us doing well in the league and the cup, but it feels like we need to take things one step at the time right now. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 15 – 2036/37 Despite our recently run of form, we have failed to win some games I had hope we could win, Estoril we dropped points against because we went down a man, while Famalicão defeat was disappointing. At least we progressed in the cup again. The league has seen us progress higher up the league again, and I am desperate to gain more points to ensure we can stay above the dropzone this season. We did even manage to improve our youth and training facilities within 3 days of each other. Which was a promising sign. I did end up immediately convincing the board to improve the facilities once again. The latest video (yes, this is the last update for the day) saw us improve our facilities and I even had to negotiate with the board to improve the facilities again. Good times. Popular Post libbyshuss
Marbella FC Spain La Liga 2 (Tier 2) 2027/28 (season 6) Season Summary Another case of try and survive while hoovering up all that lovely TV money they give you in this division. 5m of it this year! The media prediction had us at 21st this season, one place higher than the bottom spot they had us down for last season. I figured this season was gonna be a tougher ride but before christmas it was actually ok. We settled into a nice win one, draw one, lose one pattern that had us sitting nicely mid-table. After christmas it was a different story though and after picking up 3 wins in March we went on a run of 1 win, 1 draw and 9 defeats in our last 11 league games. It meant we only survived by 2 points in a season where we never really looked in any danger of relegation. I mean, look at that position chart thingummyjob, it was all pretty plain sailing right up to the end. Cup - we've slipped inot this annoying habit of going out early doors to teams in the division below us. Third year on the bounce now. This year Crodiba hammered us 3-0! Players Our main problem this season was up front. I played at least 4 different people up there and they were all pretty uniformly crap. Our top scorer was our left winger, who's turned out to be a cracking little player for someone I rated so poorly in the original draft. Shows how much I know. Our relatively poor form over 2 seasons is reflected by the nice rises in determination and work rate. Cos I'm fining the butts off them every chance i get. Saves a bit of cash as well, which is an added bonus. Honestly, I have no idea how to solve that striker problem. I might have to promote a promising 16/17 year old and hope I have a real ronaldo on my hands. That would be nice. Youth i was looking forward to this! The first intake with my new and imroved junior coaching and youth intake ratings! It didn't disappoint either... Lots of lovely A ratings! Although not in striker, where I could really do with a lovely youth player coming through # The intake has an english lad in it! That was quite exciting. as was all those elite talents! But what was the personality/determination split like? Welll. Generally ok. I don't mind unambitious peeps really, and determined is always nice. Only one hald decent fairly professional lad, whcih was a disapointment and Danny Whitbread being balanced was a bit rubbish but generally a positive mix Manuel Jesus looks the most promising Finances and Upgrades The thing I love most about being out of our depth in La Liga 2 is our small wages compared to our large TV money income. It means we are making a profit of around 2.5m a season! So i spent a ot of it on upgrades and whatnot and the board were happy to oblige. I managed to max out youth intake already, which is a huge bonus at this stage. This challenge gets a lot easier once you're making a nice wodge of money each year. It's a real slog when you're losing it! I also managed to sell my first player for proper money. Lorenzo 23E (CB) wanted to go to Real Oviedo and started making noises disrupting the dressing room. I had cover for him and he really wasn't all that good so I was happy to let him go for 500k, just to keep the peace as much as anything. Kits I made us some nice kits but I can't be bothered finding Spanish sponsors sadly due to me being just too lazy so all the new kits are gonna have British sponsors and I'm gonna pretend they're really multi-national companies. If I can pretend some little numbers on a spreadsheet are really little players running around scoring goals in Spain it shoudn't be too much of a leap for me. Kitbasher is a great addition though, I love it! Career I fully expect us to get relegated next season still. We still don't quite belong here I think. Whatever happens, the money is a huge bonus! JLAB
Speaking of Europe. I forgot to mention that we actually lost a European spot because Scotland managed to climb up to 6th place and take the spot away from Portugal. So getting into Europe has become EVEN HARDER than before. I might actually need to win a domestic cup to even get into Europe at this point.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Energie Cottbus - Season 2024/25 - 2. Bundesliga Squad | Transfers | Finances So it turns out, we are a pretty competitive side, even at the higher tier. Even if we are quite close to the playoff spot, we were never really in contention for it. The key this season was simply to stay up and try to stabilize here, and will likely be the key the next few seasons as well. Finishing 6th in our first season here is very encouraging though, since I had expected us to really struggle. Especially seeing as 1860 München, a team were quite equal to last season finished in the relegation playoff. The lack of great youth intake is also starting to affect us. Luckily, the squad had some quite talented youngsters when I took over the club, and they are the ones who have been introduced to the squad now. Can-Deniz Tanriver and Theo Harz are the youngsters who have taken the biggest step, and our newgens are a bit behind currently. This might have further impact the coming season as we are losing two player I'd really like to keep. Defender Matthias Rahn is retiring, and I really tried to convince him to stay. He just worked excellent in the combative centre back role I used him in, and I'm not sure if I can get anyone else to step up. We are also losing Tobias Eisenhuth on a free this summer after he refused to talk about a new contract. To be fair, he is joining a Bundesliga side in Köln, so I can't really have any complaints about him leaving. DFB-Pokal: We finally have started to compete in the cup, and here we beat Holstein Kiel before we had a very tough draw against Dortmund and lost in the 2nd round. We looked like we would continue to lose money this season, but we got a payout of around £11m to put us solidly into the black again. I haven't had much luck in improving things yet, but now that we have money, it might finally be approved. I did finish the Continental A license, and got approved to start working on the Continental Pro. The new stadium should be completed after the next season, so we are looking forward to that. Youth intake: The preview is a lie! This kid is not a bad prospect for a full back. Trophy cabinet 3. Liga - 1 (2023/24)
Popular Post Morpheus13
Finally, after a break, could play again SC Toulon Season 41/42 Review Table - Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers - Finances Once again we were expected to finish in the top half and we managed to exceed expectations and it was quite a heartbraker to be honest. Of course in the end, the best team won the title again, but we managed to get alot of close wins and late goals and found ourselfs in a tight title race, but in the end it wasnt enough. The 8 draws by PSG have been suprising, because if they won, they usually hammered their opponents. But even tho, it was a bit disappointing, it was still a great season for us and we will make our Champions League debut next season. The highlight of the season was our Conference League run, where we managed to win our first title. It was rather easy, because the competition wasnt really good, except Aston Villa in the final. I think the best two teams went to the final. And it was a nailbiter. After a very even game, we beat them in penalties. Great success and always nice to win a title. Squad Goalkeeper: Fred Makouna 37A is our first choice keeper and also the first choice keeper of France. I think we will have no problems in this position as long as he is under contract Central Defense: Youssouf M'Dahoma 39A and Tarik Haji 36A are the two first choice center backs, with Anothony Malpon for the depth. Here and there we give some youth players a chance, to rest them. A position filled with great first choices and decent depth. Full-Backs: Jose Antonio Vazquez 37B and Matisse Thomas 34A are the first choices. On the right side, it is Vazquez who loves bursting forward and provide attacking support. Our assist and ratings leader, playing wing back. On the left, a solid option who is playing more defensively as a full back. No real talents coming through and depth is an issue Central-Midield: Mehdi Larabi 37C and Francisco Ribeiro 39B were the two who played the most. Larabi a great all round player, more box to box and Ribeiro more as a creative mind behind the strikers. He is stagnating a bit but still hope he can make progress. Adel Loucif 39F made great progress while on loan and will serve as a backup next season. He can play everything and provide something. But depth is a real issue and we dont have great youngsters coming through. Wingers: Theo Lambert 36B plays the left wing. Not great fitness but a very nice offensiv player. On the right wing it is Florian Giraud 38E who played his first season as a starter. He stays narrower to leave space for Vazquez on the right wing. Some good players coming through, the most promising being Loic Grau 39C Strikers: Still our weakest position. Ambrose Mutua 39D became our first team striker and topscorer. But he is a nice player falling deeper, but usually I like my striker beiing at the end of the play. Might be Romain Buisson 41A who can solve our striker problem. He seems like a very good player. Ribeiro, Makouna and Mutua on this years NxGn List. Ribeiro even at 1 Intake 42 Not the best preview, but some nice talents coming through, with Gauthier probably the best player I have ever gotten in an intake At a young age, already very good and a Perfectionist. I think he could become the best player at the club. The others are ok, but not great. Burger might bring some depth to the midfield Trophies Edited February 19, 2022 by Morpheus13
Daddy
2036 Midseason Review: Absolutely dominant. The sole loss was a 1-0 loss between a few big Libertadores games. Far enough ahead now that it would be a collapse to not finish first or at worst second. This was a tough group. The GD is a result of one particularly ugly game where I had a player sent off early and things just unraveled. Third place finish puts us into the knockouts of the Sudamericana. 2036 Youth Intake Preview: Hoping for a stud Center back
Popular Post thomas_e
SpVgg Unterhaching Season Summary 2038 - 2039 After our Bundesliga victory last season it was all about the Champions League this year. We rested quite a lot of players before basically every CL game to be as fit as possible. We managed to proceed from the group stage, but finished 2nd behind Man City. In the first knock out stage we managed to beat Atletico Madrid comfortably, but in the Quarter Final we got knocked out against Man City. Overall we lost 3-2, but we got outplayed at times. We have been in the Champions League final the last two seasons, so this was dissapointing, but Man City is a better team than us, plain and simple! It doesn't mean we can't beat them, but we can't expect to beat them every time! In the Bundesliga we did fairly well, especially considering that we rested players for many games. We finished 3rd, a setback from last season when we won, but we still finished only three points behind title winners Bayern. We didn't really perform against the top teams this season, and we might have to take a look at our tactics during pre season. We play with one striker at the time, but I would like to accomodate our top player, Mohamed Ouni, into a supporting striker role in a two striker formation. Let's see! Our striker, Jasper Berg, finished as Bundesliga top scorer with a one goal margin, but looking at the top 10 goal scorers in the league the rest is basically Bayern and Dortmund players, so it shows the limitations of our formation. Our BIGGEST issue these days is not our formation or getting knocked out of the Champions League quarter finals, but the youth intakes. The last four years has seen one player come through the academy, and even though that is Benjamin Biskup who is crazy talented, the overall intakes have been absolutely dreadful. The HOYD over the last four years got his contract terminated and I have brought back our old HOYD from the intakes that saw Jasper Berg, Mohamed Ouni and several other players come through the ranks. Stats wise he is inferior, but I had to do something, and hopefully he can bring some magic back to the intakes. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 15 – 2036/37 Season Youth Intake Preview So we've been absolutely poor once again. The less said about this run of fixtures, the better honestly. It's been shambolic. We're only 6 points clear of the relegation zone at this point. Marítimo have been much worse, and if they manage to survive this season, it might be considered the great escape. The youth intake preview has come in. It doesn't look that good. We keep getting no strikers in the intake preview and I keep having to retrain players to be strikers. It's starting to get annoying now. In other news, I've managed to get Tiago Trabulo to sign this contract and given that he's easily our best player and is starting to look like the best goalkeeper in the entire division at the age of 17 (I wish I was joking when I say that), we need to tie him down quickly. I can see his £37M release clause being activated sooner rather than later, especially when I activate the optional contract extension as soon as he starts wanting to leave the club. So it's been eventful to say the least. At least we've got our best ever goalkeeper to sign that new deal. Wonder how long it'll be before he wants to leave us. Hopefully the latest video linked below will give us an insight to that. JLAB's YAC with Beira-Mar Part 102
