PukkiParty
Now I'm more familiar with FM22 and have a bit of time - I'm going to be giving this challenge a go! The lucky team is Poole Town FC. My Profile The Squad My squad is very light, I'm already looking forward to the youth intake just to add some bodies into the squad. Two fringe players on unattached contracts don't look as though they're sticking around and are not interested in signing a contract either so that leaves me even thinner. The positives though are there are some decent prospects in the team already and the overall age of the squad is pretty young. I also have Piero Mingoia, who is much better player than VNL South and is competent in all midfield positions, so hopefully he stays fit and he'll be a cracking player to build around. I'll update again when I get a youth intake in! Edited July 26, 2022 by PukkiParty removed image
OlivierL
7 hours ago, libbyshuss said: Argentina 2056 Premier League Season Summary So only the Copa Libertadores left! could we do it? well...... Group Stage Looked a tricky draw on paper as we had two Brazilian teams in there, but we're a different proposition now. We got a dodgy result at Vasco de Gama in matchday 2 but managed to get our revenge in the return leg Nice and easy and through to Round 2 So Round 2 should have been nice and easy. Ferro are from Argentina too but bounce between the top two divisions before a freak season saw them finish 6th and qualify for the Libertadores. This season they were sitting 17th and I'd hammered them 6-2 only a few weeks before. I checked and in 45 results between the two sides I'd only lost 5! So as near to a free pass as we could have wished BUT..... the bloody Olympics were on when both games were scheduled and I lost FIVE first-team players! so we had to play with youngsters and journeymen in their stead, which meant it was way closer than I liked Quarter Final Santos! A really nice solid home victory but I was still a little paranoid heading into that second leg. We're easiy capabe of throwing away leads like that, but also we're a team that almost scores at will, so we always have a chance. We were lucky in that second leg to be honest, but I'll take it! Semi- Final Flamengo of Brazil!!! a good side!!! I have absolutely no idea what happened in that first leg. It was just one of those matches where everything you hit flies in. It was ridiculous (in a good way!) I guess we were always gonna lose the second leg after that! but no mind, we were thrugh to our 3rd final in 4 seasons!!! Final Guess who was waiting for us? Yep.... River Plate! Our nemesis! It had to be them..... and.... Reveal hidden contents we did it! In style! with a large slice of luck after a 13th minute sending off, admittedly, but we played pretty, pretty well I think! so there you go! Although I put it in spoilers up there i think it's time to yell... CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!!!!! The Players Here's the team that did it! Victor Susseret 53C is surely another wonderkid, he was brilliant! Delgado and Gomez are surely gonna be international mainstays should they get their moves abroad, they are way too good for the Argentinian league It's a shame to leave such a good young team behond but to be honest if I hadn't won the Libertadores this season they'd have all had to be sold off anyway, such is the binfire that is my finances They are so good now that 3.5 stars is a leading player in our league! Career So now what? Probably jump straight back in in Europe somewhere. I love this youth only challenge, it's just a shame I'm stoo stubborn to quit! with a bit of luck I coulda had this challenge wrapped up by the mid 2030s easy! I'm thinking somwhere like Croatia for my next try. Should be able to squeeze one in before the next release! you did it ! good job again and i love the name of the team.

We managed to win the league, so next season we will play on the 2nd level of Sweden: Superettan!! Hopefully we will earn some money there. Our balance is negative, although only just a bit. But we still can't upgrade our facilities, so hopefully after next season! Best players this season were Jonathan Larsson, Edvard Setterberg, Oliver Blomdahl and Gentrit Çitaku. Best youth players were Giannis Chryssajis 22a and Mattias Larsén 22b. Youth intake The preview was okay: 2 A's, but also a lot of E's. So I wasn't expecting fireworks. Well, the intake was better then expected. Lots of Elite Talents! Hopefully some of them will develop into good players for us. Spoiler

Popular Post libbyshuss
I'm jumping straight back in and for a change of pace heading to Croatia! the top two tiers only have 12 teams each so there's only one promotion to the second tier. Rather than keep throwing the dice I decided to just go for whoever got promoted first:- so...... Belisce! Google tells me its a very small town of about 6500 people near the Hungarian bordrr. Should be fun trying to take down Dynamo Zagreb from such a tiny base! Here's the ground:- it even has a stand on one side! Pitch looks nice! The facilities are as poor as you'd expect:- They've done very little in their history but have won the Croatian second division before! They didn't get promoted though as they culdn't get a license for the top flight. Hopefully that has changed now. So I don't really expect to complete the challenge from Croatia. It's a tiny league with no money at all. The first job is just to survive and get that first youth intake in and then see where we can possibly make any money for improvements. It's always about the journey rather than the destination with a youth save anyway! Interestingly the second division in Croatia has a rule where at least 3 of your starting XI has to be Under 21 for the first half. And there are no U21s in the squad apart from a poor loking keeper. Time for the greyed outs to step up I think!
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A decent first year in the top flight as we comfortably finished in mid table and secured our first ever foray into European football. Season Details League Table - We must be delighted with a fourth place finish. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Our form was in fits and starts. Long winless runs followed by long unbeaten runs. Copa Constitució - Unió Esportiva Engordany proved to be far to strong as we were hammered at home at the quarter final stage. Friendlies - It was a very tough pre season campaign as we only won two matches. Squad - We still only have eleven players. Squad Dynamics - Considering our poor form at the end of the season, this is surprisingly good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - We still do not have an academy, so there was no intake again this season. Finances - We made a small profit, thanks to the league prize money. Key Players Leandro Quinhentas - The Argentinian striker, our best player, struggled with the step up in quality this year. Emeric Jouve - The central defender continues to perform way above his level. Lorenzo Butzke - It was another good season from the winger. Tom Williams - Playing in central midfield, he had a great campaign. Arnaud Dubreucq - Our goalkeeper was a very busy man this season! Next Season Another season of survival is the only goal. Daddy
2035/36 Midseason Review: Things are proceeding as I'd hope. Sadly no back to back invincible seasons as there was a stinker of a 1-0 loss to a bottom table team. The rematch with Real Madrid from a few season back where they absolutely battered us. By the numbers we were a lot closer, especially the home match. It's a bit disappointing to not score a goal in two matches though. Regardless we're through to the knockouts. I don't think we're quite at winning it all level yet, but with a ton of luck and upsets we could. However out draw wasn't super lucky. We faced Man City in the 2033/34 Europa League Second Knockout round. By the numbers we were better in both matches, but the first match up our keeper did not show up and their keeper played out of his mind and we lost 4-0. Second match was 1-1 draw at home. With a few years progression I'm expecting to have a shot here. Still hoping for a stud keeper to come through and I'm always happy to see promising fullbacks.
dcayton9
America De Natal: Transfer Deadline Day This was absolutely brutal. Just as I thought I had made it through the transfer window with my squad intact, the offers come flurrying in and the players become unsettled. Then the MLS and Saudi clubs start triggering the foreign release clauses that the players made a non-negotiable in their contracts. Before I know it, I have to start giving the Brazilian Serie A vultures the time of day in order to maximize value and not fall victim to the measly fees from the foreign clubs. During this two in-game day stretch, my promotion hopes were dashed and my wonderkids were stolen. First, the board force accepted an offer for Almeida 05A, my breakthrough player of last season. After this, Cuiaba offered to pay more and I had to accept, though I didn't want to. Then, last season's key player Felipe 03A gets his foreign release clause of 1.1 mil triggered by two MLS teams. On deadline day, Corinthians comes in with a much larger offer, and though he may have declined the MLS contracts and I could've kept him as had happened with one of my other players, I didn't want to take the chance and negotiated a higher fee with them. Finally, when I thought I was in the clear the board accepts another offer for Tazio, my star winger without giving me the opportunity to protest at all. I am immensely disappointed, but now I have loads of cash and installment fees / transfer profit which should translate to facility upgrades for at least two seasons to come. I don't know what the timetable is for Serie A promotion and I'll still give it my best go this season. Maybe the eventual upgrades that will come from this will make the sales worthwhile and lead us on a quicker path to becoming the eminent youth academy in one of the best youth countries in the world. Only time will tell.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Belisca Croatia Division 2 Season Summary So, Croatia! Only 12 teams in Division 2 so only one relegation, with the side finishing 11th entering a relegation play-off. We were predicted to finish 12th so suvival was my main aim. However, 5 games in and 4 victories saw us sitting top and I was starting to bemoan how easy Croatia was. I should have known better! 3 straight defeats were then followed by two wins and we were nicely mid-table with 6 wins, no draws and 4 defeats. Should be fine right? Then the search for a win began..... We kept drawing and losing, drawing and losing, getting pulled nearer and nearer the bottom. Luckily, the bottom two really sucked, so the gap to the top was closer for a lot of the season. And then, things went a bit mad. Four games to go and we were in trouble! BSK, who lost 14 out of their first 15 league games all of a sudden learned how to win a game! With 4 games left they were suddenly only two points behind us! and we were in godawful form as well! One game to go saw a bitter fight to the death from the bottom three. any one of us could go down.... We were away to the team in second so I was looking at pssible relegation from an early season position of first. But somehow, we managed to squeak a 1-0 win and just stay up by our fingertips. Got to feel sorry for BSK in the end! Players So one of the odd rules in Croatia is you have to have three U21 players in yur starting 11. But guess what, you can't play any under 17s! Should be fine for a yoth only save, except for those first couple of seasons when all your players are either too old or too young. So we had to play with two greyed out players each game, which definitely did not help our cause. Most of them are leading players for the division below. Youth So, I need young players desperately! so what was our first preview/intake like? Nice! I found a HoYD with a fairly proffesional personality, so I snapped him up. A nice preview but honestly I'd be happy with anyone at this stage A nice amount of elite talents there! but what are there personalities like? Not bad! But at 15 the majority will have to wait two years before I can use them, and I could really do with them right now! stupid no under 17s rule! But in a couple of years I can see these guys being the mainstay of our first team Finances and Upgrades So we were projected to lose abut 200k a season, which after Argentina is small fry! I was able to talk the board into a couple of nice improvements too, which is always a bonus Career So, an expected start, and I suspect we'll be fighting relegation for a couple of seasons to come at least as well Edited July 28, 2022 by libbyshuss

SkiIIs
Season 2047/48 - Premiership Our best season in the prem to date, finishing just outside the Euro spots in 8th. We were a lot more consistent this year which came from a more stable defence, conceding 14 less goals than last year and for the fist time finishing with a positive goal difference. Performance were a lot more shared amongst the team and the average age of the first team has slightly come down, only my right back is over 30 now. Sheffield Utd from the Championship won the FA cup so it may have cost me a spot in Europe but not quite sure, havent really paid attention on which teams qualify. So my first YI with a new HOYD since my other one was poached, did not seem like a good proposition: and it was bloody worse than i could have thought. I literally only signed 3 players from it. Im going to give him the benefit of the doubt with the whole new transition to the club thing, but i expect a vast improvement next year! Had another player sneak into the top 50 wonderkid list, will be my future keeper in a few years time: Next year I expect much of the same, no longer relegation candidates but challenging for the top half. I doubt we're good enough for a Euro spot but that would be nice. Really need those intakes to improve and quick!
fries
Vanarama National League South 2023/24 (season 2) Season Summary A new season without danger of relegation or much hope for promotion. Not much exciting can be said about the season other than I tried to integrate more youth candidates into the first team. Mostly because I had to do so. In the next season I will only have 6-8 non-regens players left. We had an okay run in the FA Cup where we lost the 4th qualification round after two games. In the FA Trophy we lost our first game. Armstrong, Winsor, Ceasar, and Wright have developed greatly this season. While another young player Walsh was the best player of the seasongoalkeeperlkeepr. I think this is the first time ever my goalkeeper wins that award. Maybe because he scored 4 goals from penalties. However, Walsh has not really developed this season. Armstrong did also play very well in the defense. Grubb and Humphries are still my two best players. They are actually the only two players that are suitable for playing in the Vanarama League South, according to my coaches. McCootie was my topscorer with only 13 goals. My preview was great with 5 stars, and 2 A's. All in positions where I could use more players. My intake was fine, better than last year but not overwhelming. A lot of players with potential, but not many with great personalities. Matheson (M(C)), Simpson (ST), Rogers (AM(R)), German (AM(L)), and Patten (D(C)) got their first games on the first team this season and will be a part of the first team next season. We had no transfers this season. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade both the youth recruitment this season. While I also managed to get the Continental C trainer licence. However, I really have financial problems. I don't know how to solve that.
XaW
XaW - Follo Fotballklubb - Season 2026 - Eliteserien Squad | Transfers | Finances As I said in the last update, this season was a changing one for us, as I planned on using a lot more youngsters no matter how the season went. Unsurprisingly, it started quite bad, as we lost 7-2 away to Bodø/Glimt in the first match of the season. They would eventually go on to become champions by a distance, but at the time we looked rather doomed. When we continued to lose a few more matches, I just about thought we would have to accept an eventual relegation. But then we had a bit of a turn around. The youngsters in defense suddenly became brick walls, and we went the next 10 games conceding only 2 goals. Granted it was a few 0-0 draws, as we have periodical issues with scoring. But we climbed up the table, and were solidly sat in the upper mid-table spot for most of the season. A last rush towards the end propelled us into an amazing 5th place and also qualified us for our first European stint next season! Quite the turnaround, and things are looking good for us. That said, I think this is a bit of an outlier season, and I fully expect us to end at the lower half of the season next year. The biggest issue is the squad is the lack of good players from the intakes in the more attacking roles. Kristian Seteklev, Joachim Glosli, and Sondre Spieler Halvorsen is not a trio for the top of the league, but the only one really close to ready for some matches is Glenn Sigurd Solland 25b. We really need some good attacking options in the comming intake, and the next one has a striker rated A, so I'm hoping for a real talent. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Hønefoss, Bryne, Åsane, Tromsø, and Sarpsborg 08 before we lost to Odd in the semi final. First 11: GK: Sander Østbye RB: Vemund Berntsen 26h (new) DC: Eivind Bakke 25e DC: Øystein Birkeland 26i (new) LB: Ole Andreas Sandven 22b DM: Robin Gonella MC: Rino Falk Larsen MC: Gunnar Larsen 23a AMR: Kristian Seteklev AML: Joachim Glosli ST: Sondre Spieler Halvorsen (new) Trophy cabinet PostNord-ligaen Avdeling 2 - 1 (2022)

Popular Post br00kster
Hi All, First time doing this challenge, so bear with me if I miss any bits of information out. Discovered this thread a little too late to post an introduction having just finished the first season, so here goes: Taken charge of mighty Sand Dancers, or South Shields FC ("The Mariners" as FM refers to them). The first few days of my reign didn't start particularly well with me unable to secure the contract of my star CM (Mitch Rose) who left for Mansfield, despite my much larger contract offer, as well as my first choice keeper expressing his desire to leave at the end of the season when his contract was up, cashing in at the end of the calendar year. Not all was lost as I discovered what looked like a gem in my u18s, introducing Joe Gilbey: The money from the Boney sale did allow me some flexibility and I managed to secure an improvement in my youth recruitment. Finished my first season, dominating the Conference North and gaining promotion to the Conference Premier: With my star youngster playing a key role as the spearhead in my attack and ending up as my top scorer and also changed Nationalities to represent Ireland. Special shoutout to Bournemouth legend Charlie Daniels still whipping in those balls at the age of 36, let's hope he has a couple more seasons left in him: Youth recruitment looks favourable, but overall I'm expecting a much more difficult season next with potentially only two of the below coming in as bench warmers at best: Tied down most of my players for next season, but sadly looks like (despite signing him up for an additional year, with an option to extend), my best CM will be leaving...I have 24 months to cash in, however: Mounting debts left us massively in the red, but the Chairman kindly injected some funds and submitted plans for a stadium expansion: Onwards and upwards Sand Dancers, errrr...I mean Mariners. And please let me know if there is anything I should be including! Edited July 28, 2022 by br00kster

I was able to talk the board into a couple of nice improvements too, which is always a bonus Career So, an expected start, and I suspect we'll be fighting relegation for a couple of seasons to come at least as well Hopefully you have better luck than I did where finances got so bad I couldn't offer contracts to players and lost my whole team It was a shame, I was enjoying Croatia. Siepe1990
Sign-up & First Season (all images) So, I've decided to give this one a go. I loaded France, Germany, Spain and Italy and saved on each of the 'reload' dates of the countries. This gave me 4 sets of teams to pick from, I ended up going for FC Carl Zeiss Jena Besides the beautiful logo, I was attracted by the rich history of the club (most famous as the runner-up in the European Cup Winners Cup in 1981) and the fact that they already had quite decent facilities (Good training & youth facilities, average academy coaching and adequate youth recruitment). Here are my starting pictures: Manager: Stefan van Diepen Club History: Carl-Zeiss Jena Best Player: Daniel Keita-Ruel Biggest Talent 20-: Ronald Backhaus Biggest Talent 20+: Leon Burger 1st Season (2022-2023) After analyzing the squad, I quickly settled on a 4-3-1-2 Narrow Formation. I was almost forced to play with 2 strikers (as my best player was a Target Man) and with the lack of decent wingers, I concluded that playing with 2 Mezzala's was the way to go. Checking the different Tactical Styles for suitability, I found that Vertical Tiki-Taka matched very well with my chosen Formation. After a promising friendly campaign (4 wins, 1 draw) I started the competition with 4 wins in 5 matches. My form declined after that, but I still found myself within sight of the promotion play-off place (3rd) at least at the halfway point of the season. Only 2 players wanted to leave, one of them sadly being a quite decent midfielder who just didn't feature enough to convince him to stay. I continued playing in the same way and we started racking up points. I quickly found myself at least certain of the play-off spot, and on the final day of the season we had to win from Saarbrucken to gain direct promotion. Sadly, we lost 0-1 and were forced to play the play-off against Turkgucu Munchen. We managed to beat them quite easily, sealing promotion to the 2. Bundesliga! Final Table: 3. Bundesliga Transfers: only outgoing Youth Intake: Early Assessment | New Players (forgot to take a picture when in 'Candidates', so this is all I have - the highlighted ones are the new ones) | Best New Talent: Alexander Kammlott Looking forward to my 2nd season - hopefully no-one will steal away my top goalscorer Felix Drinkuth (7.63 average, best player in the league, 33 goals in 37 league matches) or my best talent Leon Burger (7.19 average, one of my top performers alongside the surprisingly strong center back Bastian Strietzel (7.42 average, 3rd best performer in the league)). Popular Post _JHTB_
Enfield Town Season 13 SkyBet League 2 – 20th Transfers – Fixtures (1) – Fixtures (2) – Squad – Table – Key Player – Hot Prospect Nothing major on outgoings just youth players who weren’t going to make the grade released and mainly already retired through not finding new clubs. League The season got off to a pretty miserable start losing our opening 4 games, in fact 7 of our opening 10 games. Thankfully our saving grace was that the 3 games we didn’t lose were actually wins for us. The season, especially the first half, followed the same pattern with us losing most games but then winning the ones we didn’t lose. In fact, we didn’t actually draw a game until the end of December before drawing 4 of the next 5 home games. The second half of the season in general was much worse than the first half – we actually had a zero goal difference in the first half but -16 in the second half. Despite this, we didn’t really have any real risk of relegation with the bottom 2 pretty cut adrift all season but it was far from an exciting season. Cups Our cup competitions this season were pretty much a non-starter losing in the first round of both the FA Cup and the League Cup and in the League Trophy we lost our first two league games to already be knocked out before our last tie. Youth Intake An ok intake a few players who will perhaps come into the first team as back up players sooner than later as they are in positions we don’t have the best depth. Ed Stevens 13 – Has some pretty good defensive attributes, and whilst he is naturally a fullback I’ll be converting him into a centre back as we don’t have a lot of talent coming through there at all. Ken Cover 13 – A striker, nothing spectacular but isn’t actually too dissimilar attribute distribution wise to what Muhammadu Faal was and his many goals for us so hopefully he can be even half as successful as Faal for us. Isidro 13 – We seem to get an ok goalkeeping prospect each season, has some pretty decent attributes, but is lacking a bit for one on ones. He’s a long way from our first choice so at least does have the time to develop rather than being forced in. Key Players Andrei Lefter 10 – Lefter didn’t prevent as many goals as he did in our previous season (understandable as higher level), he also didn’t really keep all too much clean sheets but he still generally performed well on average. Unfortunately he doesn’t think our squad is strong enough so he won’t agree a permanent deal and I feel we could lose him sooner than later. Stephen O’Brien 1 – The fact that O’Brien is still playing is probably more testament to our lack of defensive options coming through but he’s still a pretty dependable performer for us. Kieran Preece 1 – Preece actually had one of his best ever seasons for us 17 league goals for us this season which is his second best return – his highest was in the Vanarama North. He does face competition from a young prospect in his position, but he’s one of our longest serving players and also the captain so he will still feature a lot going forward. Infrastructure/Looking Ahead As we got promoted we of course went professional, but also we had to build a new stadium to meet league requirements which won’t be complete till next year and has saddled us with a £2million loan debt. Overall we’re in a pretty dire spot financially, not helped with the youth players now getting a defaulted £150 per week opposed to the £5 they received before. I’m not even going to try and rectify it as there really is nothing I can do as we’ve already comfortably the lowest wage bill in the league. I’m somewhat hoping that if it gets bad enough then the owner might try and sell the club as our current elections every 3 years aren’t really that good for any infrastructure improvements, though that also runs the risk that our better players will be sold from under us. Avoiding relegation is the key aim again next time out. I was contemplating changing formation this season and again next season I’m thinking of doing the same as both players I was playing as strikers arguably would be better served as attacking midfielders but I still think our best chance of survival/success is focusing on attacking. Notable Landmarks Kieran Preece 1 – Reached the 150 goal mark for the club the first youth player to hit the milestone. Reiss Bolarinwa 6 – Became the 5th youth player to pass the 300 appearance mark for the club. He’ll not likely reach any further milestones as he is starting to be phased out the starting team. Marcus Giles 8 – Passed 200 appearances this season, when he first came onto the scene we had high hopes for him but he’s ultimately ended up being a back up player but still ticking up on the appearances list. Eirik Stensrud 10 – Stensrud ended last season on 99 appearances so it was no surprise that he reached the 100 appearance mark this time out. I feel he could be a player that we’ll lose sooner than later. Martin Parker 10 – Parker, now our first choice right back was another of 4 players who surpassed 100 appearances this season. Sean Papirnyk 10 – After a few seasons of being a back up player Papirnyk forced his way into a regular first team berth and also passed 100 appearances. Jack Bird 8 – Very much a bit part player Bird made 6 appearances this season which tipped him just over 100 for the club overall.

And please let me know if there is anything I should be including! had Boney play over 400 games for me up all the until League 1, averaging less than a goal a game

libbyshuss
Croatia FC Belisce 2023/24 (season 2) Season Summary A really good season! No problems in the league, we were safely mid-table most of the time and won more than we lost. Consolidation was all I was after really so it was really nice to achieve it with no fuss. It's quite a fun league as well with only 33 games, you can speed through quite quickly. The quality is low as well, we are one of about 8 semi-pro sides in the whole division. Cup - no luck, battered 5-0 in round 1 by Varazdin! Players we were definitely helped by the fact I only had to play 1 rubbish greyed out player all season. Still, it's all legacy players in the first XI but that should change nect season Iook at those values! Youth Another pretty good preview, happy with that And the intake is a potential golden generation!! which says way more about the quality of the legacy players than it does the intake to be honest. Finances and Upgrades Very happy here. We are semi-pro so bills are pretty low which means we have a little bit of cash to spend on upgrades. We had such a good season the board were only too happy t give me some upgrades. Hopefully we'll see an increase in quality through the intakes soon but it might not be a big enough improvement yet. that adequate/average weird anomaly is really strange. Just how good are these in relation to each other??? Career So far it couldn't really have gone any better! very happy with the progress made off the pitch which, at this stage, is way more important than on the pitch. that can wait a few seasons
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A good secondseason in the top flight and with a newly built youth academy, our squad will now get yearly reinforcements. Season Details Europa Conference League - I was delighted we defeated Luxembourger outfit Fola Esch, rather convincingly too. Georgian side Dila Gori proved too strong in the second qualifying round, however. League Table - Qualifying for the Championship Group again, we finished in fourth place for the second successive campaign. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Like last year, we had endured a dreadful run of form in the Championship Group. We were consistent until that point. Copa Constitució - We once again went out at the first hurdle, the eighth final, losing to league champions Engordany. Friendlies - We had an exceptional pre season campaign as we lost just one match. Squad - The youth intake has added some real depth and a few new starters to the squad. Squad Dynamics - It is quite good, despite a plethora of new arrivals via the academy. The club atmosphere needs some work, though after such a poor run of form, this is to be expected. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - The intake was excellent, with three players standiong out, such as midfielder Cristián Patarroyo YP25B2. Finances - The European monies swelled our bank account considerably. Key Players Leandro Quinhentas - Our main striker now has serious competition for his place. Struggled at times. Emeric Jouve - The central defender had another good campaign. Tom Williams - Central midfielder who has lost his place in the side once the youth intake arrived. Cristián Patarroyo YP25B2 - One half of our new central midfield partnership. He settled in immediately. Rudi Velosa YP25E5 - The other half of our new central midfield. He has quickly established himself as one of our best players. Next Season Qualify for Europe again is the aim. Popular Post Daddy
2035/36 Season Review: Third straight league title, and with all but three matches as wins. Pretty impressive. A third domestic cup as well. Rough draw against Man City in the first knockout. Haaland scored 5 of the 8 goals they scored. Without him it was close lol. Claimed the top Wonderkid spot. Not sure how long I'll be able to keep him, but at least I've talked him up to a $146M minimum sale. While the money doesn't do anything for me, it just makes it harder for teams to steal him away. No one managed to take him or anyone last season. A little bit of roster purge is coming though. Youth Intake: Not a particularly great one at first glance, but with how good the squad is the intakes aren't going to be as strong looking as they once were. At this point three yellow star players are described as "Leading UPL" players. 1.5 yellow stars are basically league average. Taking all the into consideration there are definitely some players with potential to be good players on the team and in the league (just maybe for other teams). 2036/37 Season Preview: Already five matches in to the season so I can get the Group Draw, and I can say it won't be an invincible season. I do expect to win the league again though. I'm apathetic about the domestic cup, but the board expects reaching the finals so I won't totally sacrifice it. We're still entering as a third seed which means we get Man City and Juventus from the first and second seeds. Haaland retired so we have a chance! In four meetings they have won three and we drew once. We have never faced Juventus yet. While they're no longer the dominant team in Italy, they are still a very good team coming in second or third each year since they relinquished the top spot. Slovan Liberec we had in group last season and while we won both matches they weren't total cake walks. There were a few groups I thought we could win, but this isn't one of them. Second place seems very attainable though.

What are your best players now ? any wonderkids yet ? Thanks. Not one player to come through yet to be described as a 'wonderkid'. In truth, our success and progress emanates from a solid tactical framework that I took a long time to create implement before starting the challenge. I wanted a tactic that once in place, would not need to be changed throughout the whole playthrough and would make player choice and development clear-cut from the offset. As such, every youth player is trained specifically for a certain role in the tactic from the day he reaches the youth team. Here's the home tactic used in every domestic fixture without change: Only PI's are Stay Wide on the WB - Attack, Tackle Harder and Mark tighter on the front three, Roam from Position on the two wide players, Move into Channels and Roams from position on the CM Attack and Hold Position on the DM - Support. These are the kinds of performances we regularly execute. Versus our main competition domestically: In CL Qualifying: And through a season the goals come how I intended; top scorers are Poacher, followed by CM - Attack, followed by SV-Attack. Here are the stats and attributes for the top scorers: Poacher: CM - Attack: SV-Attack: Whilst creativity can come from anywhere, our WB-Attack is the primary creator, thriving off the space left available when play builds up on the other side of the pitch or as a result of overloads through link-up play on the right: WB - Attack: Player Development The RWB came into the club as a RW but with training from day 1 he is now an accomplished RB. The SV- Attack was a CAM the CM-Attack was a ST and my IWB was a LW. This was possible because I have set roles and duties that will never deviate and as such, I can: 1- Train appropriately from day 1. 2- Promote players that may not 'seem' suitable, but can be molded into useful talents and 3- Ensure there are always a minimum of two players for each position. Cheers for the interest! Good luck.
