Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2022/23 - Super League 2 South It's been a few versions since managing in Greece so to see the second division split between regions was a surprise. League 2 is actually quite difficult to get out of as you need to top your region and then win a play off. Subsequently, if you dont win that play off (against the top team from the other region) then you play off against second last in League 1. Hopefully i wont have to worry about it again as we managed to top our region and win the first play off against Lamia with 1 - 0 wins both home and away. A great result as at the start of the year I had to have some greyed out players on the bench with the squad being quite low with numbers. Also couldnt start any youth contracted players so had to wait for a couple of the juniors to turn 16 to be registered. Finances are I suspect are going to be an issue for this save until we start playing in Europe. We averaged 50k-75k loss per month and hence we werent able to upgrade anything nor was i allowed to even start my coaching badges. Hopefully playing in the top division will help. but i highly doubt it. One cool thing was being able to recruit some dead set legends of the game all with fantastic personalities as my staff: The fantastic season landed me in 63rd place for League 2 (yes i know only 12 pages of rankings but im taking it!!) Youth Preview, unsurprising to have a few A's projected, the team needs a lot: Youth Intake wasnt too bad for the first one with all our junior facilities and recruitment only at adequate. Popular Post WhiteCat33
Mellieha Sports Club Season 13 2034 – 35 Malta Premier LeagueCompetitions | Squad | Transfers |Finances| Club Info Continental Qualification So RFS from Latvia are almost a bogey team for us. The players aren't that great but they play fantastic at home. 2 years ago they knocked us out overcoming the same 3-0 deficit, but this time we were able to score away enough to keep our goal margin alive. Match was a wakeup call after the joyride of steamrolling Cardiff Met 22-0. The final victory was overcoming Olympiacos to make our first Champions League Group Stage! We struggled defensively in Greece losing 2-4 with Sultana 08i getting a brace for us. At home we showed our ability to finish half chances by winning 4-1 with only 8 shots on target and 1.18xG in what was a statistically even game with both our strikers getting braces. I was initially worried when we lost our wonderkid, but this Poacher - Pressing Forward pair just play so well together and both love the club and are on long contracts. Matches Spoiler Champions League Group Stage Well our draw could have been worse as PSG & Man City are in a group together, but we got Real Madrid, AC Millan and Red Bull Salzburg. Shocker to no one Madrid are gnarly. They have a peak Youssoufa Moukoko (who for some reason never got called up for the national team?) who scored 5 against us in the first match where they smashed us 6-2 and they rested him for the second time in Madrid where they blanked us 5-0. We did badly against Millan at home losing 5-1, but did pretty well there losing just 2-1, which came from them scoring a 94' FK goal after my CM got himself ejected; crushing after such a strong second half. The impressive performances came against RB Salzburg drawing in Austria 1-1 and then beating them at home 3-2, so we get 3rd in the group and actually manage to advance to Euro Cup knockouts even with an awful -13 GD Matches Spoiler We are the biggest overachievers in the Champions League and Real Madrid are the Runners Up Spoiler But even crazier Peter Attard 10a set the record for the top Champions League Goalscorrer lol. Thank you Cardif Met where he got 9 goals Euro Cup Knockouts First Knockout Round: Spoiler Pretty middle of the road draw of Shakhtar. We’ve never played them but have faced Dynamo Kyiv a few times and never gotten the best of them. 1st Leg Home: 19 min and their defender intercepted a long ball to Sultana but passed it into the middle where Attard 10a pounced on it and first time shot scored. Great start! More opportunities for Sultana, they aren’t picking him up on the long ball runs.27’ though they beat us overloading my fbs and crossing in to their striker who finishes. But a minute later off a short throw in play Frank Formossa 09d (my DLP) takes a nice long shot from the top of the box to give us back the lead. 32’ we add to it as Brandon Sales 10b makes an attacking run from the midfield to get behind the back-line and places the ball far post. 60’ we get very lucky as they hit the ball off the post twice in one play, but just after in the 63’ they get their second goal. 74’ and they tie it back up with their striker just beating my cb silly and chipping the gk. 86’ and my RB Portelli 07c slots the ball to Attard 10a who gets his second of the match. We win 4-3! 2nd Leg Away – We really struggle defending the driven cross form the wingers and they get a goal in the 4’ and 21’ from them on both flanks. The second was due to a midfielder running in and not getting picked up. Again they aren’t picking up our deep runs by forwards very well and Sultana 08i makes them pay in the first half stoppage time to bring us back to evens on aggregate. And it’s a slug fest the rest of regulation so that it ends evens and we go to extra time. Took till 112’ where my young CM sub Pierre Debono 11a makes the run behind the defense and no one picks him up and he shoots near post beating the keeper to give us the lead! I got a heart attack as their mf got the same run on our keeper but Psaila 04c came up big and made a stop to boost his 7.7 to an 8.1 rating from that single save and we’ve done it! We draw 2-2 in Ukraine so we advance winning 6-5 on Aggregate. Second Knockout Round: Spoiler We get Marseille who recently they’ve been runner up twice in Ligue 1 and third place 4 times. This is a real test for the club as Lyon smoked us 2 years ago in the Euro Cup Group stage 1st Leg Home: Brandon Salas 10b gets a 26’ goal! Similar to what he did against Shacktar he got himself open at the top of the box and made OM pay. But really the man who made the play is my LB Ryan Porteli 07c who got the assist and then 3 minutes later he got himself all the way to the 6 yard box and open and he puts it behind for a goal! 2-0 up early on. Amazing. We are having some fantastic highlights this first half but it is OM who get the final goal in stoppage time off a badly intercepted pass. Now to try and hold this lead / get another in the second half. 55’ though they execute a perfect corner play to bring it back level 2-2. While there are highlights neither of us convert so we end the first leg 2-2. Can’t be too mad about this, we were legitimately even with them this game. 2nd Leg Away: 26’ its another corner play that they beat us on. I’ve made sure to train corner defending extra before the match and checked the set piece set up, but they are just too good in the air for us. Second half and we are getting some decent opportunities but not putting the shots on target. 79’ they put in a second goal. 83’ we take a corner which gets bounced out and the second service finds Baah 09c on the far post. We can’t quite muster a second effort to catch back to them so we lose a hard-fought match and bow out of the EC knockouts. Quarter Final Spoiler Sadly we're not quite there yet Semi Final Spoiler Not yet Final Spoiler Nope Matches Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake Not quite what the preview promised. We are at the stage of the game though that I’ll be signing everyone and we will see. 3rd year of his players and we are seeing some really bad personalities still. This is the one elite talent. We need anew CB but I don’t see how this could be him This CAM is probably the best of the bunch. Fickle is at least high ambition, so he could upgrade that PA rating. By April this happened as he got bumped up to an Elite talent when they did the 'scholars' inbox message. The HOYD will get 3 more intakes and then it’ll be time to do analysis and see what upgrade options are available. Club Improvements: We did our best to spend that money with 2 Training Facility Improvements and 1 Youth Facility Improvement. Another year till our small stadium will be ready. Spoiler Transfer market Thankfully I held onto everyone this year. Getting into the Champions League has done wonders to keep players from getting upset at interest from lower Serie A clubs. We still have 2* Reputation and are in a low reputation league, but I'm able to sign contracts w/o release clauses now so they can't steal my players anymore. Antonello Bonnici 08b – he has been playing great for Fiorentina as a rotation player so he pushed for a better contract and they refused and he requested a transfer. Spezia who are a consistent lower third Siere A club bought him and will be giving him the contract he desired which is 4x what he made at Fiorentina and more importantly we get our 40% sell-on! Of course the money is pointless now, but feels good to have made. Lydon Caruana 09a - he's finally getting selected at Parma, but has not played well with 3 goals in 19 starts this year mostly coming off the bench. His performances weren't the only poor ones as Parma got Relegated from Siere A. I think playing in Siere B will be good for his development (which has totally stalled) if they even keep him. My guess is he gets sold over the summer as he's wanted by Cittadella. Transfer Spreadsheet: Spoiler Thoughts Even with the disappointing intakes the past couple seasons the on field performance has been nothing short of phenomenal. The majority of the starters are about 21 now so are becoming actually consistent. My one issue in the squad is I'm not happy with my CBs. I have Paul Mallia 08j who fits the archetype I like for CBs while being fairly consistent, but unfortunately is bad at heading. The second slot has been a rotation of 3 underwhelming options with Johann Deguuara 11e as my favorite, but he tore his hamstring this season and was out for 2 months. Thankfully he's having a good recovery though, so hopefully next season he can become the first choice. Popular Post Daddy
2024/25 Season Review: After an awful start the team rebounded back to the midtable team I expected us to be. We wound up making fairly deep runs in both cups which helped financially. If not for the brutal start we probably would have had a shot at playoffs, but probably would have fallen just short. The new stadium helped the attendance. The cup runs helped with money and the board threw some money which bumps us from Insecure to okay. Taking advantage by getting another coaching class and adding another coach. However, I'm not going to push it too hard as that cash injection came after I had to beg for a new contact where I took a pay cut. I see this as being a very long save, so no need to rush it and deal with a team in dire financial straights. Seven more years of loan payments. Youth Intake: Really high potential class here. I was a bit more selective and didn't sign a few that weren't at least three yellow stars and had bad personalities. 2025/26 Season Preview: I'm going to assume we follow the same pattern where there's a terrible run of a form, a very strong run of a form, and a simply solid run around where you would expect a upper mid table team to play at. I'm hoping for some steady improvement as hopefully the younger players develop a bit. If things go very right we're capable of making the playoffs, but I don't think we're promotion worthy just yet.
Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2055-2056 Sky Bet League Two We were in the promotion spots most of the season but a drop in form saw us go to playoffs and losing out to Grimsby. A bit harsh but I'm not sure we would've been able to avoid another drop next year. Transfers Had a bit of an overhaul after the relegation, selling two of the more talented players in Lapeña and Fletcher. Smith and Hudson have been fringe players recently and were also able to move on. Squad Mensah has been our first choice this year and did well. Aaron Hudson is turning into a very interesting player and I think he'd be even better in a 4-2-3-1. Same goes for Gale-Fuller so I might look to make a switch next season. On the other end we need players like Kavanagh, who won't get any better anymore and these players are why we should not be in L1 just yet. Youth intake I'm not too happy with this. There is no better HOYD available for me but I really need a better pull in the next few years. McGuinness is interesting as he's right-footed. If I can raise his Det he could be a decent AML. Thompson and Wellens are decent but with horrible personalities so I don't expect too much from them.

Youth Intake Spoiler This year gave me a first team starter (in fact probably the highest rated ability player at the club) straight from the intake! One thing is for sure the repetition of surnames is going to get confusing as I have multiple Pace, Attard, Farrugia, Tabone, Camilleri I was pleased that the right back is an improvement on our current options but Tabone (25J) will also walk straight into the starting lineup Attard is head and shoulders in the eyes of the coaches and I've now adopted the 4-2-3-1 DMs formation to get him where he is best alongside Nathan Farrugia (24H) from last years intake. It should also help us concede less often. Like the fitness, work rate, determination, leadership and teamwork for Tabone (potential captain here) and as you can see from the comparison he's far above our current choices. Farrugia has a high ability but he will struggle to get game time given Cauchi is still our main player in the forward 4. I will need to start to use him as I have been lucky with injuries so far but that can't last forever. Players Spoiler No outgoings as far as sales are concerned but let a few of the unhappy non-contract players walk Bakare ended up being the top scorer with 10 goals, so hopefully the forward 4 continue to improve to start getting some more goals from more natural positions. Two players averaged over 7 Cauchi (23C) AMR and Caruana (24A) GK with 7.22 and 7.10 respectively. I'll be looking for more players to breach the 7 average rating threshold next year assuming they continue to develop. The only real talking point is Karl Dimech (24K) becoming a Model Citizen from a Professional in last years intake: I hope (and believe) he has a fair amount of potential but I need to drop Ayrton Borg (23D) who is currently 4 star ability, so its about taking a hit now in the hope that he will be better long term. Popular Post libbyshuss
Croatia Premier Division 2038/39 (Season 17) Season Summary A very weird season. We started with 3 defeats and a draw but we'd played well in every game. we then won 3 out of the next 4 before an insane run of 9 wins in 11 sent us second. We even battered Dynamo Zagreb 4-1!!! I knew it couldn't last and so it proved, after christmas we were back to our inconsistent selves but we'd done enough to hang on to fifth spot and a promise of Europe next season! (albeit the Conference League, but you gotta start somewhere, right?) Players So what was the difference? A year older seems to make the difference, that and finally finding our striker in Bruno Gelo 36C. Sadly he's onlygot two years on his contract and thinks he's way too good for us but he was great this season. Niki Vukoja 34B continued his rapid rise, free-scoring from a mezalla role with 8 in his first 10 for us, to claim our first Golden Boy award. I honestly never saw this coming from the lad! As you can see it's now a pretty solid team throughout with no real weak spots to speak of, which is nice for a change Wonderkids So, I sold a potential wonderkid. He had a temperemental personality, which I hate, so I didn't really want him infecting the rest of the squad with his whinging and whining. So I sold him on the cheap to PSG with a 50% sell on. It could easily be the smartest/dumbest thing I've done this save! With Vukoja 34B now too old for the best 50 wonderkids list I wasn't expecting an entry this year. But hello! Bruno Gelo 36C! now sign a new contract Youth My worst intake yet! looks ok in terms of potential but honestly the determination and personalities are awful! The best looking prospect has a determination of 1 and a casual personality (looking at you Karlo Ilic) Really interesting to see a Brazilian fella pop up there! he's not a great prospect though sadly. Finances Finishing 7th gave us a huge boost in TV money which I didn't see coming. 4.4m which is lovely! It meant it was time for improvements! yay! also, check this out. Our HoYD is also Croatia U21 manager! nice! not seen that before Career Looking forward to our first Europena adventure!

Popular Post DrJones
De Treffers 2028/29 Finally we are making some progress! The youngsters are ready to actually compete in most games. We will probably change our style of play to a more offensive one next season. This season we've been pretty much camping in our own box and just smashed the ball as far as possible when we had the chance. Squad The big problem in our squad is the complete lack of centre-backs. Every intake since I took charge of this wonderful Treffers-side has been flooded with midfielders and right-backs. Kids in this dutch town seems to hate being defensive in general, so there's our main issue at the moment. Key Players 18 goals in his first season! What a man! A 195 cm long winger, what's not to like? Youth Intake Well, he's decent I guess. History
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2022/23 The Spartans Season Summary A glorious season where we secured the league title and promotion to the third tier. The less said about the cups, the better, however. Season Details League Table - We were always in the promotion hunt and an excellent run of form towards the end of the season saw the club win the league title and secure promotion to the third tier. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We started so well, going unbeaten in our first seven games, before we started scrapping for wins. We maintained a promotion push, however. Scottish Cup - Embarrassing. A comprehensive defeat away to Highland League outfit Fraserburgh was simply not good enough. Premier Sports Cup - In what was a tough group, we finished a respectable third, though this did eliminate the group at this stage. SPFL Trust Trophy - We reached the third round before narrowly losing away to Championship side Dunfermline. The obvious highlight was the thrashing of another Championship side, Raith Rovers, in round two. Friendlies - There was only enough time for three friendlies and we surprisingly remained unbeaten throughout. Squad - Our squad isn't good enough for the third tier, though we will give it our best shot. Squad Dynamics - This is rather nice, isn't it? Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Two fringe players departed on free transfers. Youth Candidates - Striker Wayne Little YP23B2 is the brightest prospect out of a fairly good intake. Finances - We made a profit this year and we have a healthy bank balance as a result. Key Players Blair Henderson - Our best player by some distance, the striker had a great season, scoring 32 goals in 44 appearances. Kevin Waugh - The centre back was our best defender this year. Evan O'Connor - A revelation in central midfield, despite having just turned just seventeen years of age. Mikey Allan - Comfortable at either left back or at the heart of defence, he had a solid campaign. Cammy Russell - Despite prefering to play as a striker, he was deployed on the right wing with a lot of success. Next Season Survival. Anything else is a bonus. You produce fantastic players, have a domestic league with decent income / attendance / Reputation, and have a reasonable path to breaking into the top group to get European matches. Of the nation's I've played I'd recommend to avoid Belgium as a first run, finances are difficult there and can be hard to break into European positions. I'm doing Malta now, which is one where the early game is easy but its very hard to 'complete' as your nation's Youth Rating & Population are lower so make it difficult to produce the quality of players needed to topple the Goliaths of Europe. Its about the journey though, and Malta has been an excellent one.

Regarding the divisions, first season there are 17 teams in each region, second 15, third 12 and now into the fourth season of the game the regional divisions have been merged into one Super League B with 20 teams (I believe, I'm at work without access to my save). wow thats nuts! Didnt take note of the first season but interesting how its changed. Any country/league you recommend for a first adventure? Welcome! This challenge is very fun, extremely hard, but also very rewarding to play, even if you should not expect to complete it. A good country to start in is Germany, I think. 3 tiers, all professional and if you get into the 2nd tier, your finances should be good from then on. It's not easy to topple Bayern, but you should be able to compete in Europe for a while and slowly build up facilities and get in enough talented youngsters so eventually it should be possible, even if it's not easy, but no country is easy. If you want a more quick journey to trophies, a smaller country is often easier to get a domestic domination over. So Wales, Iceland, and other smaller countries with good youth players can be fun, but you will have a long hard slog to become decent in Europe. So for those types you will need to go through a lot of seasons where you lose early in Europe and then dominate everything domestically before you are able to get somewhere towards the CL group stage. So it really depends on what you are after. The top leagues are often harder to get to Europe, but when you get there, you should be able to compete, smaller leagues are easier to dominate, but Europe is harder to make way in. The middle are, unsurprisingly, somewhere in the middle for both. I've had loads of fun in all kinds of countries. I can also add that Portugal is a nice league for this because of the high level of youths and also quite a lot of foreign youngsters that can be talented as well. If you start this save though, normal saves tends to become quite boring after a while, so be warned, if you join you might not want to leave!

It's tough, the only thing I can suggest is to get minimum fee release clauses added to their contract but try to get them as high as you can because when they come moaning about moving 9 times out of 10 you can just say "You have a minimum fee release clause and you can leave if they meet it" and it will do them but doing well in Europe seemed to help boost my rep enough to keep them happy. When I last played I was ranked 12th in Europe but Milovanovic still left for Arsenal so it won't solve the issue but it should reduce the times it happens. Keep going if you are still enjoying it, there will be a point where they will start to no longer be interested in teams like Wolves.

Popular Post fries
Vanarama National League 2026/27 (season 5) Season Summary Great season. First season in the National League. We was never in danger of relegation and not that far from the play offs. I hope we will fight for the play off spots next season. Rogers, Wright, Bone-Calver, Snodin and Siemieniec have continued their development this season. Grubb again had a great season with 11 goals and 12 assists. The young defender Siemieniec had the highest average rating. Another important player is my goalkeeper Walsh. He is doing well, however his abilities should not be good enough at this level. Warwick was the topscorer with 14 goals. However, he was not even a starter this season. My preview was great with 5 stars. All in positions where I could use more players. Lots of fine prospects. However, I hoped for at least 1 high CA talent. Moriarty and Fotheringham could play an important role next season. We had no transfers this season. Finances and Upgrades We had a takeover last summer, which paid some of the depts in the club. We manage to upgrade the junior coaching, youth recruitment, and youth facilities this season.

Daddy
2025/26 Midseason Review: Going better than expected. I was hoping to wind up around this spot initially, but finances are causing a real problem. Too many of my legacy players are wanting too much money, so I picked the three most important of them and every other position I have youth players starting an backing up. If things went poorly I'd have to figure something out, but I feel confident with this group that we can survive, so I'm trying to move ever other legacy player (they're all set for release now). While we're close to the playoffs now, I still think we'll probably drop a place or two. Intake Preview: Striker is one of the legacy players remaining. He's 28 so I still have a few years of him being good for us, but if I can get a Youth player coming in way cheaper I'll take it.

Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2023/24 - Super League A First season in the Super League with a really raw team, I was hoping for survival meaning finishing 3rd last or better to avoid having to play the relegation play off. Season started off on fire winning the first 3 games including a win over last years runners up in Paok. The ambition quickly became finish in the top 6 for the Championship Group (top 6). We were top 6 for most of the season however a dip in form over the last 5 games cost us, especially as three of those games were against lower teams. In the Relegation group, we were never really in trouble as you get to maintain 100% of your points from the league. So on other words, this was a great opportunity to play some of the youngsters for the remaining 7 games. We managed to win the Relegation group despite drawing the last 3 games: Finances are really dire, i had thought playing in League A would help but if anything its become worse, doubling our losses per month at around 100k. Somehow after much begging the Board let me start my first coaching badge, National C badge and the first off field upgrade to the junior coaching budget to Good. We're now 1m in debt despite spending 9k less per week then our wage budget allowed. The club have now increased the budget to 52k - i can see why Greece has been in financial distress of late.... Youth Preview was a good one: The actual intake wasnt the best. Quite contrasts to previous year with a lot of poor personalities coming through this year. With the squad talent being quite low, was hoping for one or two straight starters with 3+ CA: Im losing two prospects from last seasons intakes both in the AML position and one of them being my A and C prospects. Both accepting contract offers to League 2 teams which is really frustrating! Cos there bday's were in October and they had signed professional contracts (short term) i wasnt able to offer them contracts again by Jan 1 and these Greek clubs pounced! A mistake i wont make again as im now offering more wage for longer deals...
Popular Post libbyshuss
Croatia Premier Division 2039/40 (season 18) Season Summary League - Almost a disaster! we had a good start but then really struggled to put a good run together and spent the season either 2 points from a European spot or 2 points from the bottom relegation spot. It was a weird year! With 5 games to play it was looking very worrying..... Lukcily we bucked our ideas up a bit for those final few games but it was still a little bit close for comfort Europe - So this is partly why we struggled in the league. The European adventure really spread our squad thin and we very rarely were able to play a league game with our first choice XI anywhere near full fitness. Europa conference league was a nice money spinner if we could get to the group..... wahey! into the group stage! our home games were played in the neighbouring city with a 20k stadium, which we sold out each game. It was fun. First game against Anderlecht we battered them with 20 shots to their 4 but they scored a 93rd minute winner. after that it was tough to turn around but we almost did it! Domestic Cup - somehow got to the semi final despite me playing reserves all the way through Players So the main reason why we did so well in the Europa Conference and rubbish in the league was Bruno Gelo 36C. He was just amazing this season. Hit 27 goals in 21 games before christmas and then the vultures came calling. I tried to be clever and failed, Wolfsburg triggering his release fee and like that he was gone on Jan 1st. With no future sell-on either. dammit. Even worse, look at all these awards he picked up the day before he left! we were always going to struggle without him I got my first international as well! Hrvoje Jurkovic 36A! So what does he decide at the seasons end? Yeah, he wants to leave too.... So we finished with this as our best XI. It's ok, but next year might not be as strong and there's very little depth Luka Ceko 32L won his first Bosnia cap as well which is unbelieveable given how little I rated him on his initial appearance. L!!! And right at the end of the season Milan Ilicic 36B was made a full international as well. Yeah, he's unhappy and wants to move to a bigger club too. waaaaaaah! Wonderkids Surely three years in a row to make the top 50 wonderkid list is too much to ask? not much of a surprise really, athough none of my players have yet been described as wonderkid while I still have them so technically i'm still searching for my first proper wonderkid Youth Another golden generation! I do like the look of that new left winger and love the fact that I'm getting Japanese players through my academy! Finances and Upgrades Relatively speaking we made a bomb from the Europa conference league adventure so the board were more than happy to give us loads of upgrades. Our wage bill is still ludicrously small at only 16k a week for the whole squad. Career The aim has to be to get back into europe, despite a slightly weaker smell Edited August 24, 2022 by libbyshuss

Third time the charm, as they say, saw us finally crowned Champions in a two horse race with Kifisia. My young striker, Bourous, improved on his 11 goals last season to finish 2nd top scorer in the division. A big shoutout also goes to Varvagiannis, who was expected to be a bit part player but popped up with 9 assists finishing second in the charts, as well as my young keeper, Charalabis, who came in to replace my retiring captain and finished joint top of the Clean Sheets chart and won Goalkeeper of the Year. Sadly, we weren't able to unleash out five star youngster, Markakis, until he turned 16 and signed a professional contract on 17th December with almost half the season played. With one year left on his deal, with the option for an additional year, we are already having issues with agents requiring a minimum fee release clause (a measly £350k, despite his value) in any new deal. Greek Cup Eliminated in the Fourth Round to higher league opposition, Lamia. Youth Intake My Head of Youth Development must be doing something right and he's earnt himself an extension on his deal with another bumper youth intake including another five star youngster (my first two ever, might have to keep this guy around!). While many Elite Talents, I'm not sure any bar Koutrobilas will be threatening the first team too much, but what a talent we have on our hands! Thankfully, we've managed to tie Koutrobilas down to a three year deal including an option to extend for two years without any release clause. We finally had a youth player poached, first time in this save, although we're not too broken up about it. Finances & Improvements As before, we are bleeding money at an alarming rate, even with an injection of cash, meaning that improvements to facilities are limited. A couple of Coaching Courses for myself as well as (much insisited) improvements to Youth Recruitment were our lot. UP THE WIND! Let's hope for a successful first campaign in the Greek top flight. JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 3 (2024/25) Review I was expecting a really tough season, and after 3 defeats in our first three league games I thought we were probably going to go straight back down to the second Tier. We managed to find some form in the middle of the season and looked like we might even creep into the top six and Championship playoff group, but our form reverted back to normal and we instead finished comfortably above Llandudno and Rhyl 1879 in the league. Thankfully there were two teams that were less competitive than us this season - I just hope the two promoted teams will be equally weak next season (Airbus and Barry Town, though I doubt it as they both have top flight pedigree). We have no money so I have decided not to ask for any improvements in youth spend or facilities. The board did though decide to build a new stadium, which thankfully is paid through a grant and sponsorship. Our stadium has just 20 seats so we had to use Cardiff Met's Stadium this season, but we should be moving into our shiny new stadium next year. Spoiler League (Poor home form again this season) FA Cup League Cup Spoiler Players Youth Preview Youth Intake Fans Player of the Year (and Young PotY) - Stephen McCaul from our first youth intake. SkiIIs
Season 2024/25 - Super League A I've been told that if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all. Let's just go with that... Have never had an invincible season in FM yet, but this is my first ever un-invincible season playing FM. Such an achievement! My under 19's however went and won their league, go figure! I thought this was quite funny, they had to dig deep for a Cup match to show the biggest win, then pull out a draw for a match to remember haha Somehow given the season we just had, im not even remotely close to being sacked with the Board approval rating never dipping below a C+ Youth Preview was a good one, but that shouldnt be a surprise by the lack of quality the squad has: This is the only thing to hang my hat on this season, the intake was a really good one and could set us up in the long term. Some really nice personalities to go with many 5 star PA's. Even got an instant starter in defence which is desperately needed despite the unambitious personality. Triantafyllidis (defined as Rose Petal) will hopefully be my rose among the thorns! Finance are still horrendous and the Chairman stopped injection cash this season. There's no prizemoney in Super League A so didnt even get a boost at the end of any kind. We did get a bit of a bonus from a sale of a previous sold player (way before my tenure) but that didnt really help much:

I offered him a contract while he was on trial at the club, but his trial ended, so he accepted the contract offer after the trial ended. What do I do in this situation? I've never left it so late that it's caused me this kind of issue before. Pretty sure I've seen this happen before and it's annoying as it shows up on your manager profile as a signing. I think you just need to save a screenshot of the transfers screen for that season to show it was just a mistake.

Better safe than sorry honestly. Edited August 25, 2022 by JLAB

Make sure he has sunday league Reputation and no coaching badges as well and you're golden. One more question: the @Daveincid files. It's ok to use them or not? It shows up as a signing but I always regarded that as a display issue, because they did come through your academy!
iamnobody
End of Season 1 - 2022 Season Thank goodness for defense. It kept me in a lot of games. That being said I drew 1/2 of my games this year which means we need some help on the attacking side. We survived though and that's all that matters. Squad view by appearances. This isn't the entire squad though We have no money. I haven't seen a Youth candidate preview yet. I hope this doesn't mean there is a problem with the database I'm using.

Pretty sure those are fine, but I've never used them. Rule of thumb is realistic databases are allowed, fantasy one's like Zelands' American Pyramid are not. You can only choose a custom nation that has at least 2 leagues with promotion & relegation between them.

I also wish it weren't fantasy, I mean other than the historic, defunct teams that is.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
Mellieha Sports Club Season 14 2035 – 36 Malta Premier League Continental Qualification We had a fantastic qualification only allowing 3 goals in 8 matches resulting in a 7-1-0 record. Granted Dinamo was the only true challenge, but to hold them to 1-1 away was a big feat in that full stadium. Champions League Group Stage Our drop in performance is 100% manager error. I over-rotated the squad and got the dreaded 'playing time' messages from all of my "Important Players", which turned my defense from holding PSG to a 1-1 draw where Haaland only scored via a penalty to getting blown out 8-0 just a couple weeks later. We managed to find a draw against Celtic at the end of the campaign (when players were happy again), but we needed a win to advance to EC knockouts. U19 Champions Cup I didn’t realize my team did so well and actually advanced out of our same group-stage. Shouldn’t be too surprised though as I don’t have these leagues loaded so the U19s won’t be full even for clubs like PSG & Dortmund. And their win streak continued to make it all the way to the final! And they did it! Beating PSG Again to bring home the trophy! I wasn’t even purposefully stacking the team, and for the final especially they lost their best players as they are in the first team playing for the U19 so off on summer break. I know its youth, but exciting to get a European Trophy in what I feel is still 'early' for us considering how small Malta is. Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview Youth Intake Finally got a Fairly Professional Elite Talent, and he’s an either-footed FB which is our position with the least cover as well as our LB has starting to get inconsistent for us. While my HOYD didn't give me many talents he gave me the exact one required. Also he delivers a lot of either footed players, I'd say more often than not we get one elite talent that's either footed. The CB Elite talent could be decent if he develops, but I finally got my CB pairing working so I’m not in a rush Malta By the start of this season we had risen the European Nation Coefficient up to 29th and by the end (even with our shambles of a group stage) it rose up another position to 28th so now all 3 of the EC2 teams will enter the 2nd round. We still have to do the full qualification in the Champions League sadly. Spoiler Mellieha Things are developing splendidly at the club. We just got our final Training Facility Upgrade approved, and this summer will move into our first stadium. Sadly the YF Bug has appeared for this save, but luckily the club does biennial elections, so I should get a new chairmen soon who might let us upgrade. We still are too low of reputation to get foreign affiliates, but that will come soon enough as soon as the next season began we bumped up to 2.5* Rep

Ugh I know, rather than it just being spend 120M to buy a slot in the MLS see teams like Union Omaha get rewarded with promotion for embarrassing MLS sides and dominating their league.
