Popular Post thomas_e
VV Katwijk Season Summary 2034 - 2035 Back-to-back Eredivisie champions, a solid Champions League run and the end of the Willem Dekker-era *In Holland you have to holiday for three season before you get promoted teams, thats why 2024/2025 is the first season A very good season for us both in the league and in Europe. It helps when you have probably the best midfield player in the world! We won the Eredivisie in very comfortable fashion, beating Ajax with 20 points! We have several good players, but having Dekker as an AM averaging a 7,52 rating says it all. Combining that with Martijn Klooster up front who scored 28 goals in 26 matches we were unstoppable. Now Dekker is heading to Dortmund and that is the very soul of the team leaving us. Dekker picked up a 7 week injury in the spring and even though we performed well domestically without him you could really notice that he was gone. He has been the ultimate driving force of our attack and he will be sorely missed! Dekker, Klooster and a couple of other players have impressive stats, but as always with this challenge we have several below average players. Having a player like Dekker also meant we could punch above our weight class in the Champions League. We didn't lose a game in the group stage, but we still finished behind Real Madrid. We beat Besikas twice, but a terrible draw against FC Copenhagen meant we finished just short of first place. That didn't stop us beating PSG in the first knock-out stage. A big achievement for a small club, winning 3-2 at home and a massive 2-1 win in Paris. Unfortunately we got knocked out in the quarter finals against Man Utd. A goalless draw at home in the first leg and a 1-2 loss away. I was a little disappointed as we never really turned up in Manchester, but it was still a great run. Unfortunately, with Dekker leaving, I don't see us competing at the same level in the Champions League for the next few years. We have a great talent replacing him, but he is only 17. The youth intake was night and day. Overall it was absolute garbage. The stats were good, but terrible personalities, mostly 2-5 in determination (despite having a great HOYD on paper). But then we have Jamian Griet, a potential superstar, with 20 in determination as well. He could we world class within a few years! DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2029/30 SV Kozakken Boys It wasn't the best preview to be honest: The intake itself was actually quite good, with plenty of depth, despite not being good enough for the first team just yet. Popular Post _JHTB_
Enfield Town Season 19 SkyBet Championship – 6th – Playoff Semi-Final Transfers – Fixtures (1) – Fixtures (2) – Squad – Table – Key Player – Hot Prospect Nothing to note from the summer this time out, no players sold, only some younger players going out to get game-time. League Despite losing 2 of our opening 4 games we actually had a pretty good start overall mostly due to scoring freely rather than being solid defensively. It wasn’t until the 10th game that we failed to score in a game – which ended up being one of only six times that we didn’t score in a match. Our strong scoring start meant that we were regulars of the top 6 for the large majority of the season. We briefly dropped out about halfway through the season, however, we quickly returned. The main ingredient in our successful season was winning games rather than drawing. We won only once less than eventual 2nd placed team Sheffield United they just happened to convert their losses to draws more frequently than us. At points during the second half of the season we were actually within 3 points of getting automatic promotion but we were never in a position where we weren’t chasing. We ultimately secured our playoff berth with 3 games remaining following a 90+2 minute penalty save by our ‘keeper. Unfortunately, we lost two of the next 3 games to see us in relatively poor form going into the playoffs. Portsmouth were our opponents for the playoff semi-finals and our tie got off to a poor start with Portsmouth taking a 2 goal lead into half time in our home leg. We did improve a little in the second half to reduce the deficit to 2-1, but it meant we had it all to do at Fratton Park. Ultimately, the second tie was almost a carbon copy of the first, they raced into a 2 goal lead on the night before we pulled on back in the second half. Portsmouth, in all fairness, were just better than us with their striker, Chris Owen, someone I’m happy to see the back of after he scored 9 goals past us this season. Cups A very disappointing exit in the first round of the League Cup as we were smashed 3-0 by lower league Cheltenham Town. The FA Cup was one of our better showings as we reached the 5th round after beating League One Blackpool and Championship Stoke before bowing our to Premier League Wolverhampton. Unfortunately, the Wolves game was at home otherwise we might have gained a bit of money from the tie. Youth Intake A very good intake with at least a couple of players who could already have some impact in the first team squad. Paul Cottrell 19 – Goes straight in as our back up attacking midfielder and I don’t think it will be too long before he becomes first choice. Very well rounded player with a pretty good personality. After coming through he came into the team to contribute 3 goals and 2 assists. I have high hopes for him. Jerome Brooks 19 - Another player who I can see troubling the first team picture in the not distant future. He has a good base for being a very useful midfielder for us going forward. Due to last years intake also containing a promising midfielder Brooks will get a bit longer to develop before being thrown into the first team but again, a pretty good personality and good attributes. Simon Davies 19 – More development required for Davies, but physically he’s pretty good so I’m hoping he can improve a decent bit technically and be a good option for us be it as a striker or attacking midfielder. Key Players Ed Stevens 13 – An ever consistent performer for us, Stevens again lead the way in average ratings managing 7.35 across the season. Just one goal and one assists to show for it but ever solid in our defense. Ken Cover 13 – Back to his best for us this season, 28 goals in the league (2 of which in the playoffs) and 9 assists too which is a really strong showing. Sean Papirnyk 10 – Papirnyk was subject to more rotation than Cover, but still hit 17 goals in the league which is good going from our second striker. He also hit 11 assists which was great to see. Infrastructure/Looking Ahead We upgraded our training facilities once and our youth facilities twice so we’re finally getting fully going in that regard. Due to facilities upgrades we are losing money but long term I’m sure it’ll pay off. Realistically we could do with a stadium expansion, but given how close we were to promotion this season and our stadium having a maximum capacity of about 10k I don’t want to spend the money only for us to need a new one should we get promoted. I’ve got to aim for the playoffs again next season. Last season when we finished 8th I thought it was a one off, but this season we have proven that we are a good team for this level. There is only Gareth Sullivan 17 that I feel we could lose this summer as half of the Premier League is interested in him but we do have at least some depth in that position and he should command a healthy fee. Notable Landmarks 300 Appearances Another two players passed the 300 mark for us this season: Nicolai Lauritsen 11 and Juan Calero 11 200 Appearances Two more players also passed the 200 appearance milestone this season both from the class of 13. Ken Cover 13, Ed Stevens 13 100 Appearances Neil Mitchel 11 – I think Mitchel did actually pass this milestone last season, but made a lot more appearances as a back up player to propel his total to a current 141 apperances for the club.. 100 Goals Ken Cover 13 – Cover becomes the 3rd youth player to pass the 100 goal mark for the club currently sitting at 122. 50 Goals Romario Wellard 11 – Wellard managed to get to the 50 mark this season following is 11 goals season from attacking midfield. 50 Assists Juan Calero 11 – Not only did he pass 300 apperances this season, Calero also became our 4th youth player to hit 50 assists for the club. 50 Clean Sheets Josh Mohammed 11 – It’s taken him over 250 appearances, but Mohammed becomes our first youth goalkeeper to amass over 50 clean sheets for the club

We managed to get a lot of upgrades until this point. 7 potential 5 star players with 2 already beein 2 stars. Ari is clearly the star of this intake. Spoiler Spain made the list. And we got our first player from Sergipe. Popular Post the_hdk
AFC Amsterdam Season 6 / 29-30 League League Stats / Transfers Small progress, less points but two positions higher compared to last season!. And a guarenteed spot in Conf. League. Utrecht relagated again and Feyenoord wins 7th title in a row!. Vitesse nearly grabbed it but gave it away in last 3 rounds. Too bad. We managed to finish above PSV! This year we lost in 3rd round in teh cup though. too bad. We also lost our best striker to Besiktas. I though this might be the last seaosn we actually could get good money for him...he declined 3 offrs from Italy for 12,5mln! With 76 Eredivisie goals he is our league top goalscorer so far. Money was used to invest in youth facilities. Europa League we got into the group with AC Milan (ITA), Frankfurt (GER) and Hibernian (SCO). Altough we won and drew Frankfurt we only got third. In Conference we had a great run all the way to semi finals! We knocked our Brno (CZE), Elche (ESP), Trabzonspor (TUR) to lose to the winners of teh cup Fiorentina (ITA). Still great first round. We earned 14 coefficient points in our first european season. We played again in our stadium. Facilities got a step better and seaosn tickets are growing. But the next two season are going to be our last in Goed Genoeg. New 16k big stadium is being built! Youth Second year in row only excellent. Im getting worried. It might look good but its quite ok-ish. Maybe one or two will make the first team. Nothing great here. GULEC. Turkish-Surinam mix, you do not see that every day. Frankly in all my years playing FM that is a first. He isn't a midfielder and not a striker...I'll need to choose his area or he will be always just not it. KOLA. Another talent from Kosovo. 3rd year in a row. Will be a decent midfielder I guess. Love his Work rate and determination.
libbyshuss
Hit a brick wall with Belisce - same problem a lot of people have had this year with the youth facility 'feature'. Without improving it I can't see how I'm gonna improve. So I'm gonna go try Ultimate challenge for a bit until FM23 comes around. I may come back to Belisce but probably not, it's starting to annoy me!

So I've been stuck at 4 stars for a number of seasons now with no option to request it. I get informed that due to technological advances my training facilities have been downgraded to 4.5 stars, so I request it, board turn it down, I challenge this, they agree to upgrade then I noticed that Improve Youth Facilities was listed once more, requested it, board turned it down (despite a balance of £285m), threatened to quit, they agree and now I should hopefully get over the 4 stars. @libbyshussnot sure if this will help you, I think I just got lucky that it was available to request once more. My training got downgraded and it was easy to request. Youth downgraded twice and no option to improve it popped up. I even waited a few months as well. It's really annoying bug/feature for this type of save, particularly in places like Croatia. I guess it might pop up again sometime but could be years! glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 28 - English Premier League - Youth Intake Life is still super busy, so my updates are few and far between. I am determined (unlike most of my youth intake) to complete the challenge before the full release of FM23. So gotta get back on it. So the Youth Intake came and it is not great, not great at all. Carlos Marchena is a great HOYD, but he hasn't been consistently good in my intakes which has been a disappointment. Signed all tagged, which is far fewer than I have signed for a while. Not super excited about many of them, but having a couple of Driven personalities in the intake is always useful. Top 3 - Youth Intake 28 Mouloud Saidi (YP28A) - A decent looking CM who has a way to improve if he is ever going to crack the first team. I don't mind the light-hearted personality, I like that he works hard and that he is left footed. I am hoping that he can bulk up a bit, get that strength up and improve those mentals. For this to be my A player is disappointing indeed. Drew Coates (YP28B) - He seems relatively weak overall, but that Driven personality plus a few high attributes in key areas (Acceleration, Dribbling and okay crossing) means that he has a decent chance of becoming at least a squad rotation option. Again he has a long way to go, especially in the mental area, but hopefully he can make it with his driven personality. Russel Sullivan (YP28C) - It is a little bit embarrassing that this is my 3rd best player from the intake. I think the Driven personality gives him a chance to be potentially a 3rd choice at LB, but honestly it is likely he will never reach the first team. Overall a very poor intake. Maybe the two Driven YPs will improve beyond what their CA rating currently says, but this intake does not give me much hope of taking Worthing to the next level.

Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 28 - End of Year Review League - 4th - Our highest ever finish in the league and we could have done even better. I am slightly disappointed we didn't finish 2nd. Poor end of season form was a culprit here with only one win in our last 5 games. We are progressing though and with some of our players just starting to reach the top of their potential and some of our elder statesmen just starting to decline, I feel we are in a precarious position and need to make the most of the next couple of seasons. I am sure in some way it helped that we were not in Europe this year and focused solely on the league. So being in the Champions League may be a blessing and a curse. PS: Look at that defence...only 25 goals conceded in 38 games!! Surprisingly this was beaten by Chelsea. The Squad Well we shook things up quite a bit here. The top 3 have now changed as was the plan and it seems to have worked. Although we still don't have our 20+ goal a season striker. No surprises that our top players are all my back line. Our goals for is still one of our weakest areas, but to be top 6 in the league in that aspect is a huge step forward. Finances We are still stupidly rich. It is good to see our shirt sales continue to rise year on year, even without being in a European competition. Other News Bobby Skidmore (YP13E) set a new clean sheet record for the Premier League and got the Golden Glove award again. Tom Rowe (YP24A) is improving steadily and is now our first choice striker after quite a few seasons on loan or on the fringes of the squad. He is also a Wonderkid The Future I am hoping we can give a good account of ourselves in the Champions League. I truly believe on our day we can beat anyone. However we are relatively inconsistent so that needs to improve. I am unsure if we can reach the heights of 4th in the league with the extra games and a much thinner squad than most of the other teams vying for the top 4, but we will try our best.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2029/30 SV Kozakken Boys Season Summary A season for the ages. We performed so much better than recent seasons and secured our first ever promotion to the top flight. Season Details League Table - We nearly blew it. Three points clear of third with two games to go, we lost both of our final games. Thankfully, Roda JC Kerkrade couldn't win both of their games and we went up on goal difference. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We simply won more games than we should of done. We did of course lose a few though the amount wins were the impressive feature. TOTO KNVB Beker - We knocked out top flight FC Emmen in the first round before a narrow loss at another Eredivisie side, Sparta Rotterdam, in round two ended our interest in the competition for another year. Friendlies - With just the two wins in pre season, it was a tough start to the campaign. Squad - We are nowhere near good enough for the top flight. Squad Dynamics - As you would expect after such a great season, this is rather good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - We couldn't hold onto our best player as Özgür Mutlu YP27A33 was sold for a club record fee. We do have a 50% sell on cluse, though. A plethora of youngsters all left on loan for some much needed experience. Youth Candidates - It was a good intake, with plenty of depth. Attacking Midfielder Gianni Hulsebosch YP30D84 is the best prospect this year. Finances - We are only showing a profit because of a board takeover, otherwise we are losing money and fast. Key Players Ugur Altinas - The central midfielder had another strong season. Ian Ngobese YP28G55 - Playing in central defence, he made a huge leap forward this year and is now our best defender. Jean-Pat Staub YP28D50 - Since the sale of Özgür Mutlu YP27A33, he has stood up and replaced him seamlessly on the right wing. Gianni Vandepitte - The Curaçaoan international continues to impress in the centre of the park. Markus Becker - Comfortable in either central midfield, or as the midfield anchor, he was reliable and enjoyed one of his best seasons to date with the club. Next Season I think we are certanties togo down, so if we can just compete, I will be happy. I'm along time Touch player and since the Touch is not available anymore on the PC, I want to get into the full fat version. I see that a lot of you get very quickly through the season, therefore I would appreciate any suggestions you may hand to me. Thanks 🙏 Does anyone have any quick guide on how to set up the staff responsibilities for the quicker gameplay? I would say that this challenge is perfect for me since I basically don't need to use scouts and possibly some other staff either, so the transition from Touch to full fat shouldn't be so hard. I would therefore ask for some guidelines and instructions regarding the staff responsibilities and other instructions you are using for your saves. Thanks once again. JAwtunes
3 hours ago, uroszila said: guidelines and instructions regarding the staff responsibilities and other instructions I have been using the continue game timeout (or whatever it's called) setting in preferences to speed things up. I set mine to 2 seconds. I tend to control everything so don't delegate to staff, but if I were to then I would still look to do the following myself as a minimum: 1. Sign HoYD and Assistant Manager. 2. Offer contracts to players and the staff above. 3 control all sales and loans. I would also take time to praise players doing well in training and starting the next game. Poor morale is a killer so I'd look to praise at least the top 3 or 4 (above at least 7.3ish) and perhaps critise any below about 6.3. I only stop doing this when my team becomes dominant and morale stays topped up through winning games. Edited September 20, 2022 by JAwtunes
Popular Post Neo_Geo
In light of the events of the last 2 weeks I wanted to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II with one last go at an English Youth Challenge with the local team in Windsor, Windsor FC. I have downloaded the England Lower Leagues database (https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm22-database-england-lower-leagues.html) however I capped it at the regional level so that I could get Windsor to be in the Isthmian League Division One South East (8th Tier) upon promotion. Situated just over 1 mile from the final resting place of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Stag Meadow Park will provide the setting for this adventure! Here are the mandatory manager screens. Predicted to finish in the 2nd of 4 relegation places
DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2030/31 SV Kozakken Boys The preview was average at best. I forgot to take a screenshot, though I was promised one player graded at A and two at B. That was it. The intake itself was simply wonderful. Popular Post DrJones
De Treffers 2031/32 Another mid-table finish. There's not much to report on really, the youngsters are getting better and better and I think that we can compete for the europe play-off spots next season. Squad As you can see there are one main issue in this team. The lack of goalscoring. Key Players An unsung hero of this team. Not our best centre-back but a really good one. Probably the biggest surprise this season, Ben has been developing like mad and hopefully he'll start to make some more points next year. He should do more than five goals and four assists with those attributes. A very odd player I have to say. It's hard to find him a good position when I don't play with an AMC. Youth Intake A winger with pace is always welcome. History

Popular Post the_hdk
AFC Amsterdam Season 7 / 30-31 League League Stats / Transfers / Best 11 What a season...and so close to an upset!. AZ in the end pulled it off and got their third championship. Feyenoord is no longer champion after 7 years. And first time we finished above Ajax! Sparta with the cup win! In the cup we lost in QF to Vitesse on penalties. VAN DORP entered the first 11 and did great with 20 league goals in his first season. VICARIO started as our new goaly. MEERSTADT nearly left but declined the offers from Genoa and Bari. Too bad as they offerend 4,7mln. We lost our goaly at beggingin of thge season to Man City of all places! In europe we did upset! Tree We won the Conference League! Our second cup and our first in Europe! I'm really pleased and we did much better than I expected. In the final we ware great and beat Lazio Roma (ITA)!. Next seaosn we will try to get for first time into Champions League (as we finished second). Seasons so far: Small steps again. Training and Youth facility went up once. Next seaosn is the last in "Goed Genoeg" stadium. Youth Finally Golden Generation again! And what a genaration! Four 4,5 star potentials...and two of tejm are already 2 star ability! They could star next seaosn or year after in first team already! Best two: VALK. Perfectionist! Great finishing (14) Determined! Great teamwork (16). Decent speed. This is our next star striker. LEIDSMAN. We just have VICARIO in goal but this could be his replacement. Unambitious, low work rate and low determination might be a challange. Overal this seaosn gave me motivation to continue as I was getting into a slump.
DazRTaylor
I think Ruud de Lange (my new 4.5* CA striker) may be the real deal. Just offered him his first professional contract. His agent wanted a minimum fee release clause of…£19.75m. They don’t want such a high fee unless they have the potential to be superstars.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2030/31 SV Kozakken Boys Season Summary Our first season in the top flight went a lot better than I could have imagined. Safe from relegation and a decent cup run to boot. Season Details League Table - We were never in any serious relegation danger, thanks to the good start we enjoyed. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - As expected, we struggled at times though we picked up enough wins to survive relatively comfortably. TOTO KNVB Beker - We equalled our best ever performance, by reaching the third round before losing a tight game at home to fellow top flight side Excelsior. Friendlies - It was a much better pre season campaign than last year as we only lost two games. Squad - We are getting better as the new intake has improved the squad considerably. Squad Dynamics - This is still rather good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1, 2, 3 & 4 - Now that I have an affiliate club in the division below, I basically sent nearly all of our youngsters there in the hope they get some much needed football. Youth Candidates - It was an incredible intake, with plenty of potential stars. The clear standout is striker Ruud de Lange YP31A97 who looks like a superstar already. Finances - Thanks to the league monies coming in, we made a healthy profit and are back in the black as a result. Key Players Ugur Altinas - Playing in central midfielde, he continues to impress. Ian Ngobese YP28G55 - Our best defender spent a lot of the season crying about wanting to leave and as a result, his performances suffered somewhat. Gianni Vandepitte - The Curaçaoan international had another decent enough season. Markus Becker - A late developer, he is now an automatic selection, in either central midfield or as the anchor. Willem de Bruin YP26B18 - After four seasons out on loan, the central defender enjoyed his first full campaign in the first team. Next Season A repeat of this year would be lovely. Popular Post the_hdk
AFC Amsterdam Season 8 / 31-32 League League Stats / Transfers Sooo close...one point that we gave away in teh last game when we drew Feyenoord. Still great seaosn and we are getting close! SCHOLTEN left after 7 seasons playing in first 11. He was replaced by MARIA. Up front GORRE the Surinam international left for 1.5mln to Ternana (ITA) and was replaced by VAN DIJK. PIMIENTA our former LB left to germany for very low amount of money but I needed to get loose of him and got replaced by KHARBOUCHE who plays on RB and ISRAELSSON moves back to LB. Best player of the seaosn is VIACARIO our goaly who had a great season with avg. of 7.20. Our second Cup win! Youth facilities increased two levels...and now its time to get State of art. Also next seaosn will be our first in the new stadium. New times for AFC! Youth Woot another Golden Generation with six 4,5 star talents!. Alot of Surinamese players this year. Very happy with it as we needed defenders and midfielders. Probably the best youth of the year: PINAS. Already great tackling. Not too fast though. Has potential. I forgot to make more screens and I'm too lazy to do them now. Overal great season and the youth intakes give hope for something more!
JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 9 (2030/31) Review Competitions This was another excellent season. Winning the league last season meant we had a shot at qualifying for the Champions League. While that was never likely to be achievable, but champions qualifying route is generally more forgiving than the qualification stage for non-champions. I knew that meant we had a reasonable chance of emulating TNSs performance last season and scrape into the group stage of one of the tournaments. Our first CL qualifying game was against CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria and we won 9-3 on aggregate. We then came up against Rosenborg of Norway and lost 3-4, which meant we dropped into the Europa League qualification stage and took on Valur of Iceland who we beat 4-1 on aggregate. Our final tie was against Larne of N.Ireland and we won 3-1 on aggregate, meaning we qualified for the group stage of the Europa League. Our league form was reasonable this season but we were just not able to repeat our league success of last season and finished behind TNS Cup performances were reasonable - we made the semi-final of the Welsh Cup but were defeated by TNS. Premier League - 2nd (qualified for Europa Conference League) Welsh Cup - Semi Final League Cup - Semi-Final Spoiler League League - Player Records: Welsh Cup League Cup Europe Europa League - Group Stage Player - This is how we lined up this season. Spoiler Our excellent Scottish u21 winger won both the Young PotY and Fans PotY this season. Spoiler Youth Intake For the first time in a few seasons we were told to expect a potential Golden Generation. Unfortunately the intake didnt live up to the promise and we only signed about 8 of the intake. Spoiler Intake Preview Intake Facilities and Youth Spend Qualifying for the group stage of the EL brought in about £3 to £4 million so we were able to make improvements in facilities and youth spend this season. Spoiler Training Facilities Youth Facilities Junior Coaching Youth Recruitment Affiliates No new affiliates. Bangor 1876 finished 8th in the Cymru North, Undy were 2nd in the Cymru South and Carmarthen Town were 10th in the Ardal South-west. Spoiler Player Records SUMMARY WALES National Team Wales have played just two games in the Euro 2032 qualification group and have 4 points and sit second. They have been drawn in a fairly weak group, with the only real competition being Serbia (16th in the world ranking. Wales are 49th). Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2035/36 - Panionios Similar to previous seasons whilst playing in Europe, league results were a strong but would drop silly points to the lesser teams every now and again and so in the first stage of the season we finished 5th, in touching distance to second but also 1 point away from no European football in 6th. In the Championship stage we did really well and going into the last game of the season we were 1 win away from finishing second and qualifying for the Champions League for the first time. We had a better home and away record vs Olympiakos so if we finished on equal points we'd finish second. We got pummelled 4 - 2 and ended up finishing 4th again as Paok beat AEK and had a better H&A record against us. Youth intake was decent enough. Still getting the resolute characteristics coming through which is great. Kanavos being the best prospect, has superb pace for a 15yo and is very determined. Good at corners which will be handy too We had Roukounakis score in his debut for Greece and also won the best NxGen talent. He now wants to move to a bigger club unfortunately and i cant see how we keep him Pipinis's contract is running out at the end of next year, he does want to sign however he's asking for 40k per week which would make him the 3rd highest player paid in the League. We can only offer him 14k per week, so it doesnt look good...
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 29 - Mid Year Review & Youth Intake Preview League - 11th so far Wow - I don't know if being in the Champions League has drained us, or what has happened, but this has not been a good start to the year. We have conceded 24 goals in 19 games and while that doesn't sound too bad, we only conceded 25 goals in 38 games last season. The only silver lining is that we are only 3 points away from 7th so it is still realistic to be aiming for European Competition, even if challenging for the title seems like it is out of the window for this season. Champions League - 2nd in our Group We had a relatively tough group with no 'easy' games, but I guess that is the champions league in general. Unfortunately for coming second we get to face Dortmund in the next round... Youth Intake Preview The preview looks okay. A striker would be okay, but is not our most pressing area of need (we could REALLY do with a good DM, and replacements for my ageing full backs). Hoping that this is better than the last intake. Fixture Fun On a side note I looked at these fixtures and thought.....this is gunna be fun. Man City, Arsenal, Bayern (all Away) and Chelsea at Home. All of those teams have won their respective leagues in the last few years.

JAwtunes
... and now this I'm torn on what to do as there is no way we can sustain ourselves as a professional club without plenty of European gate receipts and prize money. TNS are still the best team in the league, though we are closing on them. I think I'm going to just go for it. Bad idea? Spoiler League attendance and ticket prices. Just 238 attendance and we were champions. Pretty good ticket price when compared to others in the league (TNS £121 (174) £9, Colwyn Bay (£183 (108) £11), Llandudno (£178 (67) £9) TNS still seem to be the big favourites and apparently have the best players (though im not too sure how accurate this is as I think one or two more of mine should be there. sorry for the spam
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A triumphant season where we qualified for Europe and won our first major trophy, the domestic cup. Season Details League Table - Talk about overachieving. We actually played the eventual champions Engordany on the final day and had we won, we would of won the league title. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A poor run of results late in November and December couldn't spoil what can only be described as an outstanding season. Copa Constitució - Our first major trophy as we stormed into the final before beating league champions Engordany in a tight match by one goal to nil. Friendlies - It was a mixed bag of results during our pre season campaign. Squad - We still only have eleven players. Squad Dynamics - Team Cohesion needs some work, otherwise this is rather good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - We still do not have an academy, so there was no youth intake this year. Finances - We made a small profit as we are once again back in the black. Key Players Lesego Mpote - Our best player, the Motswanan was outstanding on the left wing. Bruno Simões - It was another solid season at the heart of our defence for the central defender. Afonso Martins - Playing in central midfield or on the right wing, he was good, but is capable of even better. Leandro Quinhentas - Our main striker was ok, but struggled to hit the heights of last year. Pablo Blanco - Our other central defender, he also had a great campaign. Next Season Build an academy! I hope we have the funds with our prize money from our upcoming European adventure. DrJones
De Treffers 2032/33 Europe here we come! What a season. When the league took a winter break we actually were top of the table but I was forced to sell our best midfielder due to an expiring contract. We managed to finish strong and got the Conference League spot. Squad It will be a great challenge next season with european football and the league. Our starting XI is decent but the depth is depressing to be honest. Key Players The best player by far. One of the new guys this season. I really like to play with a defensive midfielder who can protect the defenders. Youth Intake Ramon will probably play most games next season, we've got an open spot at our midfield and he will get the chance to make it his. Popular Post the_hdk
AFC Amsterdam Season 9 / 32-33 League League Stats / Transfers / Best 11 Finally we won the championsip! first in history of AFC. We had a really strong season opening. We ware at some point 10 points loose. We nearly gave it away at the end but Feyenoord choked a bit. So one less point than last year but who cares. No changes in first 11. VICARIO in april decided to leave for Rosenborg (didnt know they could transfer there in middle of the season, and he got replaced by LEIDSMAN. Not an easy task.). We lost in teh cup at home in penalties to Vitesse in QF this year. In europe we did quite well. Entered CL for the first time and in group with Arsenal (ENG), PSG (FRA) and RB Salzburg (AUT) we finished 3rd with 7 points. We drew PSG at home and won from Salzburg both times. In Europa League we lost in first round to RB Leipzig (GER). We did win the Johan Cruiff Schall (supercup) by beating Ajax. So that wa s agreat opening to the season. Weid VICARIO transfer. Seasons New stadium and already expension is being planned. Our averege amount of people grew to 15,7k!. And we finally have the best facilities. Great year. Up to 21k! Youth Not a golden generation sadly. But not too shaby. Only 1 4,5star. KOENEN. After departure of VICARIO I'm happy to get a possible 1st team goaly for the future. BOUWMAN. Best regen of the year. Doesn't look too shaby but not great either. We will see. Tom the Builder it is.

TNS are still the best team in the league, though we are closing on them. I think I'm going to just go for it. Bad idea? Reveal hidden contents League attendance and ticket prices. Just 238 attendance and we were champions. Pretty good ticket price when compared to others in the league (TNS £121 (174) £9, Colwyn Bay (£183 (108) £11), Llandudno (£178 (67) £9) TNS still seem to be the big favourites and apparently have the best players (though im not too sure how accurate this is as I think one or two more of mine should be there. sorry for the spam I'd say go for it. br00kster
Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (Armed Forces FC) aka The Gladiators Season Three Review (2025) Pre-Season Spoiler An interesting pre-season to say the least... Despite finishing 3rd last season and qualifying for the Confederation Cup, Selangor won both the League and the FA Cup, meaning their additional Champions League space went to the next available team in the League....ME! Fantastic news! Except, I was then told literally two days later that because of our poor financial position, the club would be turning semi-professional. Not good, especially with a number of players on full time contracts refusing to speak to me and renew on a part time basis. We took full advantage of any contract extensions available for our key players, but it's only a matter of time before we see them leave, unless we improve our financial position. Despite the earlier news of Champions League qualification, I was somewhat bemused when I was drawn in a Confederation Cup group. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or because of my semi-professional status. While it's pleasing to still be in a Continental competition, the money is nowhere near as good. Malaysian Super League Spoiler What a performance. We've blown the league away this season, losing just two games. A fantastic start saw us unbeaten in eleven games before losing away to 3rd placed Kedah. Another extremely strong defensive performance saw us concede only 16 goals all season, three seasons with the meanest defence at the Ministry of Defence (stadium). I did have my concerns 2/3 of the way through the season after a few players were called up to the U20's World Cup, however Malaysia's quick exit saw them return to the squad fairly quickly, only missing a couple of games. Defensively we are fantastic, much is down the goalkeeper, back four and defensive midfielders being amongst my stronger players. A fantastic breakthrough season for our new striker Ali Shariff, picking up 19 goals (11 league goals) - a bright future ahead (hopefully for us) given he finished the season still 16 years old and already being capped by Malaysia u20s and winning 'Striker of the Year'. Stand out mentions to Rodzi for topping the league's assist charts from CM and Yunof our goalkeeper with the most clean sheets. Our inherited youngster Lee Hwee Koon continues to make strides, winning 'Most Promising Player' and 'Defender of the Year'. Ismail also won 'Midfielder of the Year', giving us 3 out of the 4 awards, much to our Goalkeeper Yusof's dismay. Once again, Champions League qualification is confirmed. Let's hope we play in it this time, given our need for financial support. The £93k prize money helped our woes, but we still have a long way to go. Malaysian FA Cup Spoiler Our (lack of) squad depth really showed and after a couple of average performances following a lot of changes, we were eventually eliminated by (almost relegated) N. Sembilan, who surprisingly went on to win the whole competition. Malaysian Cup Spoiler With limited prize money on offer, rotation was provided to give some fringe players their chance to shine, especially as we were juggling Continental matches in the already hectic fixture schedule. We were once again drawn against our nemesis, N. Sembilan, providing our 5th and 6th matches of the season against them and once again they came out on top, beating my weaker side twice to finish top of the group. Once again we were eliminated in the Quarter Final, this time to Perak 3-2 on aggregate. Confederation Cup Spoiler Our first showing in a Continental Cup saw us hoping to emulate our compatriot Johor DT, who won the Confederation Cup the previous year. We went straight into the group draw against what looked to be fairly average competition. Needless to say, even with rotation, we barely broke a sweat and topped the group on maximum points, conceding just three goals in the process. Once again, the 'Asian Confederation Cup ASEAN Zone Semi Final' (and breathe) didn't prove too difficult as we breezed past Myanmar's Yangon Utd 4-0 on aggregate. The 'Asian Confederation Cup ASEAN Zone Final' saw us drawn against Vietnamese team Ho Chi Minh City (a lovely place to visit in real life and in Football Manager), especially if you come away with a Trophy. A 2-0 home win set the foundations for an eventual 4-1 aggregate victory and secure a Continental Trophy at the first time of asking. A light sweat and the £251k prize money really helped us! This saw us qualify for the 'Asian Confederation Cup Interzone Playoff Semi Final'...gosh this tournament is confusing...drawing Indian side Bangaluru. After battering them 5-0 in the home leg, a more humble 1-1 draw following a lot of changes saw us through 6-1 on aggregate. The 'Asian Confederation Cup Interzone Playoff Final' saw us draw Hwaebul from North Korea. A tough away trip saw us lose 1-0, before a dominating home performance saw us just scrape it with a 2-0 win. Done? All done? No. Don't be silly. Of course there's more. Al-Wahda of Syria meet us in the Asian Confederation Cup Final, an exciting time to be a Gladiator for sure! Unfortunately, we lost our Goalkeeper, Yunof, in the build up and were forced to introduce our 15 year old backup, Wan Mustapha. Unfortunately, despite Syahlan's 94th minute heroics, it proved one game too far and we were eventually defeated on penalties. Truly gutting, although the £540k prize money is really a much welcome bonus. This was our last game of the season, so here are the final player stats. Youth Intake Spoiler Unfortunately, I forgot to take a screenshot of the intake, however it was our worst preview to date, with only one potential A rated and one B rated player. The intake itself was ok, a lot of potential, but not many forcing their way into the first team straight away. Best rated prospect Faizal Sani isn't all that, but I'm quite excited about Nizam Muhamad who looks to be a decent replacement for Syahlan who is approaching 33 (and went on to score 11 minutes into his debut in the Malaysia Cup!). We still lack height, with only one outfield player, who is unlikely to make an appearance, hitting the six foot mark. Facilities, Finances, Transfers & Review Spoiler Our successful campaign brought in some much needed money. We were finally granted some much needed improvements to Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment, the first improvement I've managed to get so far, as well as a Coaching Course for myself. No news on our Professional status, sadly. Sadly, the board are 'Devastated' with my lack of profit from signings. Oooops. Have they never heard of this challenge before? Confirmation of no transfers made. And finally, overall review. Edited September 23, 2022 by br00kster
Popular Post Shankly84
SEASON 33 – 2054/55 – Welsh JD Cymru Premier RESULTS - RESULTS - RESULTS - SQUAD: PAGE 1 PAGE 2 MANAGER PROFILE: CHARACTERISTICS - ATTRIBUTES CLUB PROFILE - GENERAL - FACILITIES - HONOURS - FINANCES - TRANSFERS - TRANSFERS OVERVIEW After just missing out on the quadruple a couple of seasons ago, we managed to go one step further this season for an historic season in which we won the league for only the 2nd time, our 5th Welsh Cup, a 3rd League Cup and our first ever European trophy, managing to get over the line in the Europa Conference. We got past FC Hake, Beroe and Kolos to get to the group stage, although there were a couple of scares in there. The group stage went well, beating Lech Poznan and Rapid Vienna home and away, and two creditable draws with German side Karlsruhe. This meant a 1st place finish and into the 2nd knockout stage. In the 2nd knockout round we faced Basel, winning both legs comfortably 3-1. A tricky tie in the quarters against Fenerbahce. We came out 4-2 winners in Wales, followed by a credible 0-0 in Turkey. A favourable draw in the semis against Jablonec, but the first leg didn’t go to plan, losing 2-1. We blitzed them in the 2nd leg 6-2 to reach our 2nd final. In the final we came up against Karlsruhe again, having drawn twice with them in the group stage. It was a close game, and we went behind on 67 minutes, but we pegged them back almost immediately with an equaliser from Lewis Jones. With just two minutes remaining, Josh Davies ran through and slid it under the keeper to bring the trophy back to Wales. The league is fast becoming whoever wins the overalls between us and TNS takes the title. Two away wins for us with 1 draw and our only loss coming two games from the end meant we were champions for the 2nd time. Similar to the league, if we can get passed TNS we always have a chance in the cups. In the League cup we faced them in the first stage and beat them on pens. It was then a standard run to the final where we met Cardiff Met Uni. We had beaten them 13-1 the week before and though not as comfortable we still ran out 5-0 winners to win the League Cup. In the Welsh cup we managed to avoid TNS all-together. The final pipped us against Aberywyswth for the 2nd year running and a 2nd string 11 put 4 past them to make it 5 Welsh cups for the North Wales village team. THE PLAYERS N’Diaye and Rawlings were both allowed to leave, after becoming unsettled. N’Diaye moved to Liverpool for £10m with clauses and Rawlings moved on to Wrexham (now Premier League), for £13m plus clauses. Goalkeeper Greaves started to ask for £9k a week, which is about 4 times what we pay anyone else. As a result, I threw Tommy Pritchard in for his first full season, and he played well and developed well over the season. Lewis Mann came back from loan and went in at left back, allowing Andy Evans to move on for a decent £135k. Lloyd Jarman improves every year and Josh Davies did well, playing most of the season in centre midfield. Lewis Jones, now 31 continues to bag goals, as he got 36 in 45, but it was Josh Absalom in his first full season who took the plaudits. At just 16 years old he scored 60 in 44 and 18 in Europe to finish top goal scorer. THE YOUTH INTAKE Page 1 Page 2 OFF THE FIELD Training facilities are now state of the art and League winners will go straight into the Champions League group stage from the end of next season. DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2031/32 SV Kozakken Boys Season Summary It was another comfortable season in a newar repeat of last year as we comfortably survived relegation. Season Details League Table - A new record high, we managed to improve on last season by two places as we finished twelfth. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Just like last season, we had a terrific first half of the campaign, before falling off the proverbial cliff after Christmas. TOTO KNVB Beker - Go Ahead Eagles got the best of a seven goal thriller on their own patch after extra time in the third round. Friendlies - It was another mixed bag of results. Squad - We continue to improve but we are not strong enough for a top half finish just yet. Squad Dynamics - Everyone loves everyone else. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 - Now that we have three affiate clubs, I maximised this opportunity and sent out nearly all of our youngsters not ready for the first team out on loan. Youth Candidates - Canadian striker Philipp Bruckner YP32A113 is the brightest prospect out of a reasonably good intake. Finances - Thanks to the league prize money, we made a very healthy profit and the bank balance is the highest it has been since I arrived at the club. Key Players Gianni Vandepitte - Still an international for Curaçao, the veteran midfielder adds some much needed experience to our lineup. Edmond Croes YP26D20 - In his first season as our number one, he was absolutely immense. Anis Hajji YP27C35 - Now a full international with Morocco, the central defender had his best season to date. Jean-Pat Staub YP28B50 - Playing on the right wing, he has replaced Özgür Mutlu YP27A33 magnificently. Ruud de Lange YP31A97 - On paper, our best player, the striker blows hot and cold. Next Season The same again, please.
