Slipky
Is there any particular reason Ireland isn't here? I started a save there and chose the promoted team, Treaty United... Since there's an option to start at the beginning of the 2022 pre-season I did just that. However, I see they're in that league IRL as well. Do I need to look for another place to start in? iacovone
Well that's a disappointment. Season 3 intake is looking very underwhelming, though centre-backs are what we need so maybe it'll end up better than this preview suggests. Wasn't here much on the weekend but just caught up on the thread and glad to see so much progress being made in Wales, Scotland, Serbia etc.
XaW
Well, I just got fired from Merthyr! I have no idea how things went like this, but I just lost 16 matches in a row! Quite annoying, as I was enjoying this save. Not sure how to do things now, since I expect to do things in the editor as it is released, but I'm looking around for a save I can play while I wait. Perhaps do an IR save where I boost through seasons to see how things work further into the future. Not sure yet, but it will be done soon, I think, if i can find something that's tempting.

Yeah, I made one for FM21, and I expect to do so when the editor is out. I usually activate the 4th tier (that is view-only in the game) and add the 5th tier with all the regional subdivisions. Elsjorro
Cottbus 2027-2028: So we completed another season. Transfers: So we had a similar season as the first one in the 2. Bundesliga. We did it a little bit better (2 points) but overall we lack depth in the squad. As mentioned, Eroglu wouldnt sign a new contract. Because of the prize money we receive in the 2. Bundesliga, i figured i might as well keep him as long as possible to resign. He didnt, so he will leave after this season to FC Nurnberg on a free. To bad. So no preview this time. I sort of missed to make a screenshot. So we go right away to the intake itself: 4 Elite talents. Well they are absolutly right about Schober and Austermann. They are going into the squad right away. Especially Schober im very happy with, cause he will take over Eroglu's spot. Biggest talents: Jacinto: Schober: Bjorkman: Austermann. Expecting big things from thas man to. Passing 14, Technique 14, 15 det, 13 team. Im guessing this one is gonna fill the MC spot. Seasonstats: As u can see, only Eroglu and Gega had a banger of a season. Gega also wont sign a new contract, so he will be gone in 2 years to if we cant get him to sign. So, thats that. Next seasons are gonna be veeeeeery important. A lot of the players that were originally in the squad, are at a age that they get weaker. I allready retired 5 people this season and by the looks of it the replacements are not quite there yet. Its gonna be exciting to see what happens if i need to play some of the youngsters. Most apps (Newgen): Eroglu (108) Most goals (Newgen): Gega (44) Edited November 1, 2021 by Elsjorro
Popular Post Pauldinho7
A superb first season in Liga NOS for Beira Mar with a comfortable 12th placed finish! The only problem is my best CM Stenio Alves decided he had outgrown the club and is leaving on a free to another club in our division. Goalkeeper Pinho is also leaving when his contract expires at the end of the season! Those losses are offset somewhat by the quality of the youth intake which saw these three beasts come straight into the first team squad. How bad are the eyebrows on the game this year
BustaRaymes
#FM20 Chesham United 2021/2022 - season 2 Season Overview Not a bad season at all, but I'm a bit disappointed as we were looking to get into the playoffs about halfway into the season: A bad series of results in January sent us on a downward spiral we couldn't get out of towards the end of the season. Transfers: Squad Academy youngsters Bromage and Glendon had a decent first season, as did regular backups Adams and Clark. Another one is Jake Russell, who was not counted as a top prospect, but claimed a starting spot due to other left midfielders being absolutely, horribly bad. Dannie Cordner is the last regen who has seen quite some action, but mainly because of his 12 free kick attribute. Kieran Murphy (34) and Adam Martin (33) have maybe one more year in them. Mark Kirby turned 36 and he'll be let go because he declined way too fast. Jeanmal Prosper is also leaving, because I'm not even offended by that. Hope he breaks his leg though. Star player Bradley Clayton and Callum Bunting ended with 28 goals each and were both top goalscorers, but 3 cup goals edge it out for Clayton. Youth intake It's not much. Mitchell could be the first backup striker as the one I have now is fed up with not playing. Mew is here just because I didn't want to show off just one player. Next season: One or two U18 players developed into useful players for next season, so they'll be a good addition. Kirby's departure should be covered by them, but Prosper leaving is more of a problem. There isn't really a good RM available. The formation works so I'm not looking forward to tweaking too much. I might retrain someone, just play a mediocre RM or tinker a bit with roles - maybe even play with an extra CM and no RM - we'll see. Money is very tight (-200K) so a youth upgrade is out of reach. Performancewise I just hope for more points than this season so there's at least progression. Can't expect to challenge for the playoffs again, seeing the results in the second part of the season.

Popular Post fries
Vanarama National league North 2024/25 (season 3) Season Summary WHAT A SEASON! I though we would fight in the bottom of the league but somehow we managed to fight for promotion. The second half of the season was superb. We ended up gaining promotion. I had two good runs in the cups where i qualified to the first round of the FA cup and the fifth round of the FA trophy. In the play off final I though we won when we scored in the 2nd minut out of 2 in injury time. However somehow we also had time to give away a penalty... The game was fortunately not over. But after their penalty no more goals was scored. So we proceeded to penalty kick off, where my keeper and on paper my best player was superb. 2-4 after 4 penalties to each team. In this season I managed to play may youngster more. The stats from Mulvey were extraordinary, 20 assists and 17 goals in 57 games. The young defender Gari Evans also played well with 7 goals and a average rating of 7.52. My preview of the youth intake was a bit disapointing. 4 and a half stars but only Es and Fs. I was worried of what to come. But wow I was suprised. Only one who was not an elite talent. And three of them went directly to my first team, Armstrog, Calderwood and Finn. For the first time a handfull of the prospects had decent personalities too. I made of course no transfers. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade junior coaching and youth recruitment so they are now excellent. However the last upgrade was between the preview and the intake. So I dont know if it affected my intake? Financially it was a good season too. I hope I soon will get able to upgrade my training facilities. I am currently working to get the Continental B Licence.

Elsjorro
Cottbus 2028-2029: So im pretty much cruising trough the seasons atm. It is because, if we look at skill, we got nothing to do with the top 6-7 places. If we finish anywhere between 10-15 im happy. Transfers: So this was the farewell of Eroglu. He and Gega were proper players for our team. So it's sad to see him go so soon. But I guess we have to go on. So the league. Like i said, especially without Eroglu, we aint that special. Some of the players are developing nice, but we had to bring in some fresh blood because of the retirement of a lot of guys. We really struggled the first round and the 2nd round we did much better. Eventually we finished a little bit worse then last year: So, preview time. Let's see what my HoyD got for me: That aint half bad. 2 decent wingbacks, a good attacing midfielder and a decent striker. I could really use a striker because of Gega only having 1 year contract left. Lets see if we get what we want: So, it sucks.... No striker. Well, Schumann supposed to be a striker. But with 4 finishing, im not buying it. Again the CA of the players is pretty meh. Ulrich: Schumann: Stats of the season: Osei really stepped up his game. Also Forro was a nice addition to the squad. Koch retired, so he had to step up. With a 6.9 he did quite just that. Most interesting players to watch: Austermann. Allready played a decent amount of games. Think he is gonna be the man who starts every attack: 1 Schober, he came right at the good moment. The substitute of Eroglu: Most appearances: Emiljano Gega (125) Most goals: Emiljano Gega ( 61)

Daddy
2024-2025 Season Final Table Expectation was to avoid relegation. Was never in real jeopardy. Season started off fairly well, but we settled into a middling pace that we maintained the rest of the season. Youth Intake: I seem to get one good Goalkeeper prospect each intake. I'm certainly not complaining! A few decent prospects and more depth. No one really ready to jump in to take over for any of the aging holdovers. 2025-2026 Vision and Media Preview: I think I'll still stay up, but the youth prospects are not taking big steps forward. The facilities still stink, the coaching budget was finally increased so hopefully I can make improvements there. Feels like treading water but tiring out. I have 6 players over 33 from the original roster, and they're slowing down. This will be a make or break year as I figure some will retire at end of year.

iacovone
Högaborgs BK Season 2024 Review Table (4th) | Results | Admin | Finances | How It Unfolded | Squad Stats Okay so we consolidated on last season's 4th place finish with an equally strong showing in year three - very pleasing indeed. We lost more games than last season but turned a couple of draws into wins though that never really meant we could keep pace with the leaders. Karlskrona really ran away with it in the last few months, massively improving on their 5th-place finish so congratulations to them. Pleasingly we only finished four points behind Hassleholms, who were relegated into our division. The stars this season were Daniel Garis at left wing-back, who picked up most of the club awards at the end of season dinner, Tom Erlandsson (YP1a) who kept clean sheets in almost half of our games, Anthony Friberg (YP2n) who made some useful contributions from wide-right and Hassan Mohamed (YP2e) who came into the team midway through the year and grabbed a few goals from the inside left slot. Intake 1 | Intake 2 Pleasantly surprised by our third intake, especially as the preview was so negative. The main issue in my squad is a lack of centre-back cover (we play three), a decent right wing-back and a lack of depth in the attacking positions. So allow me to introduce you to the chaps who I think will help add that depth and possibly take first-team positions. Andre Rapp (YP3h) is a relatively mobile leader who can tackle and I expect he'll be playing first-team football next year. Fabian Lindstrom (YP3m) is an interesting striker option, particularly as current No.9 Boris Martinsson's form dropped off a cliff this season. I suspect he'll be an impact sub but he's quick, works hard (ideal for my pressing striker role) and can hit a free-kick. One to watch. Then we have Noel Johanssonn (YP3c) who I suspect will take the starting right wing-back slot immediately. That combination of fitness and work rate is exactly what I need out wide, excited to see how he develops. Finally we have Tom Pettersson (YP3b) who is a big bruiser of a centre forward and someone who should be able to reap dividends from the number of crosses we stick into the box. All in all, I'm cautiously optimistic with this bunch. I've not shown you the highest rated of the pack because I don't think he's that good and am doubting my assistant's report but I'll update this if he turns out to be better than I think. Record Breakers 1 | Record Breakers 2 So in conclusion, a strong season of consolidation. I don't think we'll get promoted anytime soon but financially we're secure, our junior coaching has gone up one level and overall the ability in the club is on the rise. It's a long slog, I know that, and I'm enjoying it so far! Best XI | Best Overall XI

Popular Post Bartrcm
Beira-Mar - Portugal Championship (4th division) - Season 2022-2023 Predicted: 4th Finished: 1th and qualified for promotion play-offs Promotion play-offs: 1th I have some unfinished business with Beira-Mar. I tried a youth save with them the last couple of FM's, and failed every time. We had an incredble season. In the regular season we won 13 of our 14 games and drew the other one. The promotion play-offs started very good with 5 wins of our first 6 games. Our 7th game was against felow leaders Gondomar, who we had beaten rather easily during the regular season. But we played terrible and deserved our first loss of the season. In the next 3 games we could only pick up 4 points, but with 5 games to go we were only 2 points behind Gondomar. We both won our next 4 games, and the last game of the season we played each other. We needed a win to win our group and qualify for the chamionship game against the winner of the other group, Caldas. With a bit of luck we won our game, and qualified for the title game aganst Caldas. And Caldas were the big favourit as the hadn't lost a single game during the whole season. I don't know what happened, but we played by far our best game of the season and won the title game 5-2, so we were crowned as champions of the 4th division. What a first season. The Gold Guard
OFK Beograd - Year 7 (2028/29) Tables | Squad | Season XI | Overall XI We are starting to get a steady flow now and also finished in the top half. I think for the majority of the veterans of this team, this is their final season. I am ready to let the kids fully take over by 2030. Even after a couple of our stars got poached in January we still kept the form going and the production line is staying strong. I am slightly worried the board might get cocky, but I am trying to ease expectations. We can safely at the very least battle for top half finish but there is no way I can consistently think like this when we get raided every transfer window. On an additional note I did not tank the cup this time, I still use it as a battleground for my youth players but once I realised we could push through the latter stages I amped it up. Stay tuned for future instalments for our quest for cup silverware! Transfers | Preview | Intake Losing Apostolovic (25E) was not that bad of an event since I have an abundance of young keepers to rotate and see which one steps up to claim the throne. Massiani (27B) having a french passport made him an easy picking for French clubs to weasel a move and I couldn’t turn down Nice as much as I didn’t want to. I do appreciate the income though and it helps me invest in the facilities and I comfortably know I have someone else who can fill the void to step up. Some strikers were evidently too good to be loaned out but I also could not guarantee regular first team football to boost their experience. I expect there to be new key figures up front next season. This will additionally ease up space for my current attacking force to drop back to their natural midfield positions. The was pretty good. I think the goalkeeper isn't the best talent of the batch as the staff may say but I’ll put him in the hat to draw now that my best keeper has left. I can’t see anyone unless they are spectacularly solid cutting into the first team straight off-the-bat anymore. These boys will have to bide their time and be amongst the loan system to prove themselves when they come of age. For that, we shall streamline and focus on the... Healthy Crops: Denis Savija (27L) He can do no wrong in my eyes. Going to move him into centre back next season. He has done well on the right but he is ready to command. Vladan Vujic (25G) Took over where my previous keepers left off. Great stuff, I will give him a shot next year. Dalibor Karic (23M) What a glow up. I’ve been frustrated with him, don't get me wrong but let's be honest I have played him out of position. He is definitely no striker and look forward to putting him in the midfield next year to bolster up the other young striker’s chances within the squad. Matyas Meszaros (26C) The Hungarian has integrated well with his new youth national team experience and has brought it back to the first team, will chuck him in the right midfield now. Ahmed Zubanovic (25D) Definitely going to drop him back in the right wing back role now that the midfield is getting stacked and need more experience in the backline. Has turned out tremendously loyal and knocked back lots of temptations. Hope he switches to Bosnia soon and gets some NT experience.

Nottingham Forest
Despite the inconsistencies of the first season it was an enjoyable season. Aside from about 4 games to go we were never in doubt. What I’ve established is to stick with playing the way I wanted. Chopping and changing doesn’t work. Whether that’s the case all the time. There will be a few tweaks possibly but happy enough with how we performed. Already a few departures for pre-season and they are Carl Baker who has retired and McCrory who wasn’t happy with his lack of playing time and by the time I was told and looked at him for the DM slot he’d already decided to leave. If we can find a striker to assist Dwyer(hopefully Scott is that player) and Murphy can keep a few clean sheets at the back then hopefully we can have a season of progression.

I've only just got a couple of decent ones developed by 29/30 season. Will keep an eye on this to see how you go with the same squad as I chose. Good luck Yes, those DC's will become a problem, I'm afraid. I'm also keeping an eye on your updates and your doing very well. Do you also have a problem with the finances? Winski
I just couldn't resist starting a new save on Iceland, so here I am
jmonfu
Nothing is sticking at the moment, Another winless streak in Brasil saw us finish last in my third division group, relegated and I left before they sacked me. Started a save with Arezzo in Italy now, but will only post if I am really into it. Anyone feeling the same this year or is it just me?

Early doors but we've started very well indeed! Atl. Rafaela were 4th when we played them and Aldosivi were top. Three of the other opponents were in the top 10 as well so we've played some good sides already.

For the first few seasons the finances were about 500k in the negative at the end of each season and then cleared with the sponsorship money to around £0 and then back to the red again as the season progressed. With there being no prize money in these leagues, I've managed to amass £3mil in the back at the end of my second NOS season after a £2mil splurge on the youth facilities. I guess the only way they are going to increase massively now is from a player sale (min release clauses limited by agent to around £350k are killer), or qualification for European competition! SpS_Zen
Season 3 At the start of the season I was worried about my one and half star GK. Quickly those doubts disappeared as my GK reached the 4th highest avg rating of the team over the season. 25 goals on 30 games. We lack a real striker to think about promotion. Hot prospect from the previous season signed a pre-contract. For some reason, the contract disappeared, and he refuses to negotiate. Idk if it is a bug, or if a player can break a pre-contract when he estimates to be too good for the team. He is still under a youth contract, and I expect to lose him quickly. An other Golden generation. I needed an AMR to keep my tactic, and i got one. But no decent GK. So my one star GK will have an other season in the first team. My training facitilies were downgraded at the end of the season. It hurts.

Elsjorro
Cottbus season 2029-2030 So if i count it correct, our 8th season. 4th season in the 2. Bundesliga. And we are still a decent mid of the table team. We never come into any relegation problems, but we arent close to promoting either. And if we keep losing our best players, im not seeing it happen soon: Again, a pretty decent season. Sometimes we scoop a few points of the top teams, sometimes the bottom scoops a few from us. But never in any problem. Im guessing that will change at least for a few seasons. We are losing Gega after this season. He is going on a free to FC Kopenhagen. So thats that. We don't have any decent strikers left. Pronichev would be okayish, but he went out for 7 months and never really recovred. Also he allready is in his 30's, so he is getting old. The intakes are killing me. Also the board is. Upgrade the facilities? No problem, i can do that whenever i want. But they havent agreed to increase the scouting budget for youth, or the youth budget 1 single time. How these intakes keep getting 5 stars and "excellent" is beyond me. We should be getting 2 decent strikers tough, so im buzzing. Intake: I mean, come on. 2 strikers. With ffing finishing of 4 and 5. Thats not a decent striker for the 2. bundesliga. Thats not even a good striker for the amateurs. Another year to waste if you ask me. Abt: Eisenhuth: Wasnt there anything positive? Well ofcourse there was. Schober and Austermann really are establishing themselves. I managed to sign Austermann a 5 year deal without a transfer fee. Schober got 3 years and a fee of around 4 mil. So lets hope i can keep them. Also, Alhassan rised up and is now our first Rightback. Austermann, even got a u21 cap: Alhassan: Schober: Most apps newgen: Gega (159) Most goals newgen: Gega (76)

SpS_Zen
Season 4 Somehow, I was able to keep my best player during summer mercato. No club was interested, and he seemed willing to stay with us. In an attempt to keep him, I gave high prices to my players to aim for a promotion spot. We reached first place after 10 games and never left the spot. Previous season, we were lacking a striker. As an attacking midfielder, Mtsweni 24a became our key player and the best player of the league. 17 goals, 7 assists in 29 games for 7,50 avg rating. Hopefully i will be able to give him a contract after this promotion. Gumede 24f improvements were the biggest surprise of the season. He almost didn't improve during his first season with us. Idk what happened, but he became a beast, gaining 6 points in "off the ball" over the season. An other golden generation. Still no GK. I don't know if we can avoid relegation next season. It will depend if i can keep my best players. At least, the promotion will help our finances. Edited November 2, 2021 by SpS_Zen
Popular Post Koetzer
Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur - season 2024 Couldn’t repeat the last season's success, and it actually was expected. We had extra games due to playing in Europe with lack of squad depth and couldn't rely much on set pieces (they helped us a lot in the past) after Plazonic departure, but still only missed the continental place on the last matchday. Both us and Keflavik could qualify with a win, but instead it was a draw and KR overtook us both. League Cup – our first trophy! The semi-final shootout against KR ended in our 12-11 win, which is remarkable as only three players from that squad had more than 3 in penalty taking attribute, and our first choice goalkeeper missed the game with injury. Supercup – KR won both league and cup last season, so we got a chance as runners-up. And we were really close to another trophy, but they equalized from a late free kick and were better in another long shootout. Iceland Cup – and another shootout loss after we managed to equalize with ten players. Conference League – two big wins over the Welsh team were predictable, but Neftci from Azerbaijan was a lot more serious opposition. However the score didn’t reflect our performance, we should have won both games without any extra time. Next we faced Viktoria Plzen and didn’t look hopeless at all, just their squad quality let them score more within an equal game. Transfers – two other veterans from the starting squad, Hogg and Einarsson, left the team as well. Squad stats – A.S.Þorsteinsson had a great season, almost doubling his scoring record from last year. Hlynur Magnusson became the leading midfielder after Plazonic left the team, and left-back Þórðarson surprisingly became one of the best in average rating. Youth intake (preview) Sævarsson *24a | Þorsteinsson *24b | Eðvaldsson *24c | Atlason *24d | Haraldsson *24e | Helgason *24f | Einarsson *24g | Hermannsson *24h | Jónasson *24i Really a great addition to our squad, we needed some defenders and two best players from this intake will become at least rotation options for the first team immediately. Still in debt with youth facilities declined as well, but after the next season our new stadium will be opened, and this should give us extra income. All our home games now have 100% attendance, and overall average is even higher due to continental games being held on bigger arenas.
Popular Post Elsjorro
So i'm allready behind 2 seasons again, so im just gonna update twice in one post. Having a day off doesnt help my update skills: Cottbus 2030-2031 So we almost have identical seasons back to back. No real relegation issues and no promotion issues either. Schober and Austermann really were the best players of this bunch. I guess i wont be holding on to them much longer. We finished again with 44 points. So its rock steady. A few players tried to move closer to the window, but no new revelations yet. What is there to say? I mean, the preview itself looks pretty cool. But 60/70 years worth of experience in-game seasons with this challenge learned me to not get to happy about it. It is allways a question how accurate these previews are, and normally: they are not. And its not. Dreier and Kallnik look like players that might hop on the first team bus, but if i would guess they wont develop into first 11 players. Though the mental stats of Dreier are really Mental. Kallnik: Dreier: \ Sy: Again, a striker with 4 for finishing. Dear god, give me a striker that does some damage. We are on the way though, some talents of ours are winning prizes and that is allways a good sign: The season stats: Cottbus 2031-2032: So we start the season with a real bummer. Despite his 4 year contract, Austermann wants to leave. And he is bringing havoc into the squad about it. So i thought about it a little bit and decide to sell him. HSV bids 6 mil plus 50% transfer fee in the future. I have thought about this for about 15 minutes i think. First of all he is by far our best player and i think there is a lot more from him to come. But the fact my board keeps deniying upgrades, becuase our finances arent good, makes me wonder. We got 10 mil in prize money. The 6 mil from this transfer makes the total balance just above 15 mil. So i sold him. And right away asked to upgrade the scouting budget and area and both were accepted. Yeeeeeeeey Then in the winter Hoffenheim activates the claus of Schober and so i lose 2 of my best players again. So the league. When Austermann left, i thought it would be a very, very hard season. Turned out it was not. We even were on a 6th place at some point, but after Schober left, the depth of the squad made us lose some spots. Also Pronichev again got injured for about 6 months, so that didnt help. But the man is still going fairly strong at the age of 34. So, i was excited for the preview. Got myself a nice new HoyD with 14/14 in potential and current scouting, fairly professional, 4-4-2/4-3-2-1 tactics. And also the upgrades. So i was buzzing to see if it would pan out right away. Well, not if we believe the preview. It pretty much sucked: We could expect a fairly decent wingback and a decent AMC, but we dont play with that. Back to the drawing board. Did i say back to the drawing board? HELLL NO. So first time it is the other way around, the preview looks meh and we get havoc. at least 4/5 players that will make the squad and Martins is going right into the first team as soon as his age let me play him out. Lokaj, gonna be the first man in 2/3 years i guess. Stahl is growing older and older. Martins, an absolute beast. Is gonna make Austermann regret his decision. Would have been a great wingman for him. So now dittmann has to become the wingman for martins: Lungwitz: Pephoff. He is gonna be my rock at the center: Lenk, he wasnt an elite talent but he his in my opinion: Machluf, a younger Ruud Gullit he seems. Hope he develops. Revelations: So Alhassan really developed quite nice. He didnt really come trough in the intakes, but he did a good job. So kahlisch, again a striker with 3 finishing. Are u ffing kidding me. But as a false 9, he does the job. 10 goals this year in the competition says he is better at scoring then he looks. Season stats:
