fries
A question to you guys that play or have played in England. Is it best for my best youth players to play in the u18 team in the English u18 Division 1 or in the u21 team in the English u21 Premier Division 2? This is the first season where my u21 team is in the Premier Division 2. Before I had my best talents in the u18 team because they played in the best league. But I am not sure what to do now. Popular Post Feliks
I have always wanted to do this challenge and I've always wanted to manage in Brazil, so I thought, why not? After literal hours of reloading to get them I have taken over Manaus-based Amazonas FC who were founded in 2019 and will be competing in the third tier Serie C for the first time. They also compete in the Amazonas State Championship. For anyone not aware, Manaus is a city of 2.1 million in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and is only reachable by plane or boat. Keen to tackle a 60-game season with a squad of 16...
Popular Post hyrule_king
The creation of the official emblem of the Clube Oriental de Lisboa dates back to the founding of this huge sports institution in Lisbon. Born as a result of the merger of the three most prestigious local teams at the time, COL ended up adopting for its symbol the characterizing elements of Marvilense Futebol Clube, Chelas Futebol Clube and Grupo Desportivo “Os Fósforos”.

Popular Post Barnsley
FC United of Manchester - Season 15 (37-38) Sky Bet League Two Well, I remember reading a week or so ago about getting out the bottom league was the hardest and it started to get a little easier in the next divisions for a bit. Well Promotion from the Vanarama North resulted in Winning the Vanarama National, and this season winning the League Two playoffs. 3 promotions on the spin and into League One. My extended 13 seasons spent in the lowest league building foundations seems to have done the trick!! We needed a win in the final 2 games to achieve automatic promotion, however we stumbled and lost them both. Resulting in a playoff in which we met Birmingham in the final (who beat us last day to stop promotion) it was revenge time as we ran out 3-1 winners in a tight encounter only up until the 93rd minute we hit the 3rd goal. Over the moon!! Our last two years intakes have been really poor and nobody pushing the starting lineup, so we consist of a mainly 20-21 year olds now from a few seasons before who are okay. Would of liked to have a few more younger players in there but i am hoping now if i can establish myself in League One we will grow, starting to finally get all the players onto full time contracts. Our balance is okay at £1.3m but not enough to get any more upgrades. We are getting bids for our players but the bids are 50k max. I am going to let one of them go if i can soon and sell the 50% clause immediately to raise some cash as the youth setup is slowly starting to leak cash. We just don't make enough. I am finally a club icon now on the list, hopefully a legend soon. Long term goals: get a stadium named after myself, and hopefully one day get a son through the academy - I have had neither of these in any FM to date. Season 16: we go again, aims are to avoid relegation from League One, i think we are just about strong enough - however i faced a L1 side in the cup who were bottom of the league and they beat me 5-1 so we will see, big step up as I think Leeds are in that league too. League Table: Our stadium was upgraded from 4400 to 6150 during the season which was great. We also ended up winning the Papa Johns trophy, in which we got lucky with the draw and faced multiple u21 sides including the final. Our best player is still Anthony Connor, who is now 30. 615 goals in 616 league games from the start, a club legend, a Manchester hero like Oasis, there is a battle between both of them for who is top. He is starting to decline slightly now, but we haven't had a striker in over 10 years to help the load so he is always fatigued but I play him anyway. Probably for me too in any of the FM and CM versions. I mean, he would of been out of his depth quite quickly in a higher division but because I Just couldnt get out of that bottom league he racked up silly goals. Basically the balls used to go in the channels or down the middle and he would be in on goal and score. His all round game is quite poor and if he doesn't score in a game his rating is usually under 6. But i am okay with it as he has scored and scored and scored. Interested to see him in League One now at 30/31 soon and on the decline but hes a machine. Hoping he will become a member of the coaching team in the future as he is one of the reasons i have enjoyed this save so much. I would be interested to see what his actual PA and CA would be Edited December 11, 2022 by Barnsley

I want to show his progress. A lot of teams are trying to get him, so this could be one of his last seasons with us. He has made a very well-spread progression over two seasons Should do something about his determination drop. edit: I got a cutout for Frano , so he finally has his real face now. Popular Post Daddy
2024/25 Season Review: I was hoping for upper-mid table but when things started spiraling at the midpoint I was just hoping to get out of it and stay above relegation. Fortunately we did that. The schedule, thin and aging squad, and injuries really made things tough. Some younger players got some playing time, but they're not up to first team standard yet. Unfortunately had a training downgrade due to technology thing very early in the save. No money to bump it back up hurts too. Youth Intake: Another very high potential intake with one player ready for some first team minutes. That will definitely help things out. It's not a particularly weak position for the squad, but he will definitely get minutes. 2025/26 Season Preview: The goal as always is to not get relegated. Last season I was hoping for upper midtable. I still think the potential is there.

Popular Post ludak
An end has come to another season for me and OFK Beograd, this one is the best one yet! I've had some great and wild games, but in the end it just wasn't enough. The board sold a few young players but one that hurt the most at the time was the sale of Karanović. Knowing that I'll have the same issue over and over again I tried to help myself by selling the clause. We've made some money, so the balance is around 300k, and that should be enough for the board not to sell players for 200 euro. Pantić Ratković Mlakar Đorđević Vasiljević Some fine talent has come into the team, but I think I'll lose most of them to Partizan and Crvena Zvezda. Cvetković , Dunjić and Lučić are the players that improved the most and have established themselves as important players for the team. Still, the best are still Marko Keča and Luka Ristivojević who have carried us these 3 seasons. The expectations for next season are none, I would like to go up, but the only reason for that is to get a professional status. Thats all for now, see you at the end of next season, hopefully without any stupid board deals.

Popular Post grff
Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2035/36 Season Review An interesting season as we went deep in the European Conference League, making it to the semi-finals before losing to compatriots and evential winners Club Brugge. Our league campaign was frustrating once again as we scraped in to the European Group and only just managed to qualify again for the European Conference League. I feel that the fixture schedule was too much for the squad we had. Some encouraging stats for the season as our goals record was broken thanks to the extra European games. Fantastic news on the youth front as two previous recruits came first and second in NXGN rankings. The intake for this year was pretty underwhelming as only a handful made the grade. Transfers out. A little bit of income from transfers out plus the European prize money meant we've been able to improve the facilities once again. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Marine A.F.C. - Season 2032/33 (Season 10) - Premier League Squad | Transfers | Finances Another mid-table season, and I'm more than happy with that. Working on improving facilities and expanding the stadium is the key things now, as well as getting rid of the dead wood that has been with us for too long. Not much more details to give for this season, so I thought I'd present my current first 11: Goalkeeper: Louis Stott 26j - My goal scoring goalkeeper is now up to a career total of 55 goals. He is a decent Premier League player, and I'm happy to have him for a long time still. First choice for Australia as well. Right back: Kyle Bain 26i - I want to use him a central defender, but we don't have any great right backs, so he will play there until we get one. He is really good, but not especially willing or good going forward. Regular for Northern Ireland. Central defender: Richard Howell 28c - Really happy with this player even if his tackling is a bit lacking, Central defender: Howard Meek 25c - Not a bad defender, but I'd rather have Kyle Bain 26i here if I had a better full back. Left back: Malam Mendes 28d - Not a bad player, but we could use an improvement here long term. Defensive midfielder: Jordon Exell 27b - Better on the ball than off, but still a nice playmaker from the deep. Not amazing though, and I'd take an improvement here if possible. Central midfielder: Gary Mensah 25e - A good and balanced midfielder I'm more than happy with. Central midfielder: Jake Hardcastle 28b - Became first choice this season and is also a good midfielder. Right winger: Rhys Thorley 28e - Plays decently, but I'd rather have a quicker player here if possible. Left winger: Mason Darlow 27e - I had higher hopes for this player, but he is a good option still. Striker: Ousmane Bangoura 26c - The best player at the club, my only issue is his trait to pass rather than score and low finishing, but still a great player. Lots of more improvements was approved this season: We are also expanding the stadium and will play at Anfield next season. And we are looking to get Youth Category 1! I've also managed to get in some affiliate clubs and are working to join with a lot of the fun teams around the world. Either with foreign youth players or teams I've played with before and I think I've gotten in some fun ones. Berchem Sport is a team I've played with in Belgium. Chester is just for domestic loans, not a fun one. Viktoria Köln is a nice German team with lots of newgens from different nations Oriental Dragon is a Portuguese team that has Chinese newgens! SKV Syrien Wien is an Austrian team with Syrian newgens! Zhejiang is out financial affiliate Will expand this list whenever the board allows it! FA Cup: We beat Wrexham before we lost to Manchester United in the 4th round.League Cup: We lost to Wolves in the 2nd round. U21 Team: They finished 6th in the U21 Division 3 this season. EFL Trophy: They got a group with Stockport County, Notts County, and Accrington Stanley. They finished 1st and qualified for the knockout rounds. There they beat Crewe before they lost to Tranmere in the 3rd round. U18 Team: They moved up from the U18 Professional Development League South to the U18 Premier League this season where they finished 12th FA Youth Cup: They beat Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, and Sunderland before losing to Arsenal in the 6th round.U18 Premier League Cup: They got a group with West Brom, Blackburn, and Chelsea, but lost all matches and finished bottom of their group. MacronQLF
TECOS FC END OF THE SEASON 2027-2028 (mexican 2nd division) Oh **** here we go again, back to first division boy after 3 rough years in the second league ! We manage to keep the same team at the start of the year which helped a lot in the early season, we've thrown a lot of youngsters in the first team as the injuries sadly piled on but it was a bad thing for a good think as they did good and never got back to u20, WIth a good run of form we managed to get in playoffs in good position for the opening stage which we won ! Spoiler I was starting to think i will never be able to perform with the team so it improved my morale as well, i got more focused in the tactics and i was more motivated for the end of the season, Despite the lost of our best midfielder ( sadly an other sell when my board don't want to speak with me and just sell him ) i did little tweaks that helped tacticaly and we steamrolled the second part of the championship Spoiler So we won the closing stage too , a perfect year for us and for our very young team, The success of this year was probably thanks to our keeper too, we struggled for 5 years with a very bad keeper and we got a promising youngster who got his place in the first team so we conceded a lot less goal than previous years Here the team: Spoiler No players will be highlighted this year as i have quality but not a outstanding player For the youngsters that came in the club it's not a bad or a good year just average players who can maybe fit in the first team if they improve a lot but i was expecting more Spoiler For the transfers except a good midfielder we kept everyone and i hope it will be the same next year Spoiler Next year i will do my best to keep the team in the first division and i swear i won't fail this time !
Daddy
2025/26 Midseason Review: Doing about what I was expecting. The top of the league teams beat us, the bottom we beat. Seem to split the teams in the middle. I played a few more matches after that screenshot was captured and I noticed some xG wonkiness so I decided to check out the xG table. That confirmed some suspicions. Primarily that my Keeper and defense just isn't talented enough. The goals for xG isn't too worrying something like -3 could just as easily be +3. I don't expect anything to dramatically improve on the defense but slight improvement along with the offense picking up a few more and we'll stay in the playoff hunt. If the scoring gets worse we wind up more midtable. Intake Preview: Same hope as last season, there is not immediate pressing need (despite what's outlined above) but I would love to have a player come in at any position ready to take first team minutes. My keeper is 4.5 yellow stars. The defense is all 2.5-4 yellow stars. I'm not forced to play people out of position or fundamentally not ready. Just not good enough.
Popular Post Constantine
OFK Beograd With World Cup out of the way, without any further distractions, I was finally able to wrap up first season with OFK. And it was a successful one. Nearly bottled it near the end, Rad took over as the leader after Round 33 but they imploded and we finally strung up few wins so The Romantics goes up as champions!! In the Cup, we were utterly embarrassing, suffering elimination in the first qualifying round. Top players: Luka was lethal this year, topped the league's scoring chart with ridiculous 34 goals scored. Driving creative force in our team. 14 assists this season. Out of necessity, turned into central defender. And he was brilliant at it. Class of '24 Eleven players signed from our first intake, all of elite and top talent basically. Not that many great or even decent personalities but there's couple of interesting players nonetheless... Top prospects: Great looking young goalie. With our #1 currently aged just 23 years old, Marko will have enough time to develop on his own. No hurry. Intriguing prospect with great mental attributes for his age. Now this young man will definitively get some playing time next season. We do lack some players on the wings. Best of this group, IMO. That's all for now. Cheers.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 Stafford Town Season Summary A decent if unspectacular season with a mid table finish and a first round cup exit. Season Details League Table - A mid table finish is good enough, though our form has been dreadful of late. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were superb up until December and were in a playoff spot. Then we fell of a cliff. First Division Cup - A narrow home defeat to Cheadle Heath Nomads, who play in our division, eliminated the club at the first time of asking. Friendlies - It was a very tough pre season campaign as we lost seven of our ten games. Squad - As we only had three players for much of the season, the youth intake was very welcome indeed. Squad Dynamics - Everyone loves everyone else. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - The intake was always going to be good on paper as we had so few players and it didn't disappoint, with Irish striker Christofer Zettl YP24A1 already a star player for us. Finances - We lost money this year though are still in the black and have improved our youth academy significantly. Key Players Ben Douglas - Our best defender for the entire season, he has agreed a new contract for next season. Kostas Delizisis - Defender who was out of his depth before the youth intake arrived. Kartell Tolson - Another defender and the third and final player we had for most of the season. Let's just say that he isn't very good. Karim Okereke YP24M13 - The striker has made an excellent start to his career, hitting four goals in just five appareances. Neil Briggs YP24O15 - Playing on the right wing, the academy graduate has also made a great start to his playing career. Next Season Now that I have a squad, an improvement and a top ten finish would be great. Popular Post ludak
And yet another one is finished. I've lost some games that I shouldn't have. Last 9 games before the split I hade a score 1-3-5, so it was no surprise that we finished 11th. But in the playout we've won them all and set the record for points. Trifković Savić Zlatković Maričić Đurić I was lucky this year as the board didn't sell anyone, but that was because I protested every transfer. Lučić Dunjić Cvetković Pantić Katerinis These are the best players that I have at the moment, and it looks like I could step up next season, but if not I wouldn't be upset, See you at the end of next one.
Weed07
Nantwich Town - Season One 23/24 Conference North Managed to get through my first season and it was a difficult one. We started with a decent sized squad and learning from past mistakes on FM22 i offered contracts to everyone i could so we didn't lose players but it still happened, a couple of players retired, some wouldn't agree contracts, two agreed contracts but couldn't get work permits and left, one agreed a contract but then left to a club not in the leagues for less money and by the time the season started we had 16 players at the club making rotation impossible. The season preview predicted us to finish bottom with odds of 600/1 to win the league. Based on the lack of quality in the squad i tried playing defensive but that didn't work, i tried counter attacking, then possession but nothing could get results and we had 1 win in the first 10 games and i knew it would be a long season. Everytime i thought i had a tactic i was happy with and picked up a win we would go on another poor run. We lost in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round and the FA Trophy second round and when we hit December we were rock bottom of the league with 3 wins but only 7 points from the safety positions so we weren't adrift yet but the board arranged a meeting with me and gave me a month to sort it out or i would be sacked. We got the youth intake preview which looked ok but i wasn't sure if i would be at the club to see them join. Youth Preview: Spoiler Needing to do something to turn the season around i decided to change tactics and go with the default Gegenpress tactics that the forums often say is overpowered, usually i prefer to create my own based on the players i have but desperate times and all that and i think that was the best decision i made as we managed to pick up a win and 3 draws during the month the board gave me and they were happy with that and didn't sack me, we still had a long way to go to get closer to safety but we were starting to hit some form and won 4 out of 5 games during February which got us off the bottom and back into the fight for survival and then our form was hit and miss but we were picking up points and looking much better. I was still at the club for the youth intake which was something i had been looking forward to just for depth in the squad rather than getting good players because we desperately need rotation options. The intake: Spoiler The current ability of the intake wasn't great and none looked like they would go into the best 11 but some looked good enough as rotation options. The stand outs to me were: Spoiler Kayde Andrews, rated second best by my assistant but looks a decent back up to my only left winger Matthew Hall, his determination is too low but he might be useful with his flair and dribbling while his speed, finishing, composure and off the ball look ok, he might be a decent striker for us next season Kayle Davin, he comes in as our 5th best defender at the club on ratings but one of those better is my left back and one is my def mid so he will be my 3rd choice centre back and has the best chance of being a starter next season Overall the intake was ok, around 7 look like they will be capable of being in and around the first team next season, mostly as cover and rotation options. After the intake the rest of the season was very inconsistent but we still picked up points and were moving between safety and relegation and at one point hit 18th which was the highest we'd been all season but we were never safe and it went to the last game of the season where we beat the bottom side at home and survived finishing 20th, 3 points above relegation. It was a hard year and it was only really after the new year when we started picking up the points, usually its the other way around but i think perhaps teams started seeing us as an easy win and attacked more which might have helped us. The league table: Spoiler League Positions throughout the year: Spoiler I got two qualifications so my stats now show as: Spoiler Unfortunately my board wouldn't upgrade any junior coaching, youth recruitment or facilities as we have no money, i'm going to need a good cup run i think as they seem like a stubborn board. Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 5 - Season Preview Having only just avoided relegation last season, I was hoping that things would be smoother this season. Though the media are only predicting us to finish bottom of the table. Marcel Złomańczuk is still considered our best player, and given he can still improve, things are rather exciting if he continues to develop. Michał Król is still our 2nd best player and our captain. I don't, see him making any improvements from him, but it'll be nice to see him actually do well. Damian Sędzikowiski has been a steward in midfield since I arrived and continues to show why he's highly regarded by the backroom staff. Now though, I am going to go over some of the best young talents at the club. Robert Kowalski is going to be the striker I will be putting a lot of faith in going forward. Mateusz Nowak is another player I will be putting a lot of faith in going forward on the left wings, even if I feel his personality needs some work from time to time. One more person I want to talk about is my new assistant manager. Jan Siewert joined me and he looks really good as an assistant manager. I hope I can keep him for the rest of the save until someone better comes along. JLAB's YAC with Motor Lublin Part 10

Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 5 - Winter Break Having suffered a terrible season where we nearly got relegated last season, I knew that we needed to have a good start this season. So far things have been looking good. As for the league table, we've been having a good season so far. Not in a relegation fight and continuously trying to ensure we're fighting for either a top half finish or European football. It's been a good time. The youth intake preview has promised us multiple players, and for that I am happy. It shares that the money we're pumping into the youth setup is worth it. One player that has stepped up so far this season is Robert Kowalski. He's been improving rapidly and has been scoring plenty of goals as our new first-team striker. Things are looking up here. Popular Post russ the womble
Real Jaen Season 1 (2023/24) Promotion in season 1! This is easier than the Norwegian league! Finished in the last play off place, difficult second half of the season as we were in 2nd place and gradually drifted downwards, but won play offs with an extra time win. This sounds great but the issue with the team is that success was built on the back of several veteran players who will need to be replaced in a year or so. I will likely have to keep them in place to try and survive, but not sure we'll do so, which means El Sackico may raise its head at some point.. Six players aged 33 and above - that's after taking a few other veterans out to give some youngsters a chance. Notable Youths: Sergio Gil Spoiler 10 goals this season including in the play off final, good potential and competing David Tristan Spoiler Not quite good enough to start yet but has good progress and PA New Youth Intake Spoiler Good bunch of youths in for year 1

JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 5 - Youth Intake Our latest youth intake arrived and it might be our best one in terms of potential. So many players that could end up being amazing. Piotr Wacławek is an exciting LB that we were told to expect and I am very happy with his attributes so far. He does need work, but he can absolutely develop with his personality. Grzegorz Augustyn is a player that I am excited about, but also someone I will be training to play as a left winger for the inverted winger role, because he already has some knowledge of it. His personality is something we need to work on, but I know things Hubert Kalenik is also an exciting player that I plan on training to be a CM. His personality isn't amazing, but still not terrible. The player I am the most excited about is Michał Podleśny who is a DM that can play as a CB. I plan on only using him as a DM, but I am pretty excited about him. JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 5 - Season Review The 2nd half of the season was not my favourite part of the season, I will be honest with you. We only picked up 4 victories in 13 games, so there was a lot of missed opportunities in here. Having started the winter break in 6th place, I will be honest and say I am disappointed to have only finished in 8th place, despite the fact it is a Ekstraklasa top half finish for just the 2nd time of the save. In other news, Robert Kawalski managed to make it into the NXGN top 50, making it the first time that one of my players has made it in there in the save. He ended up scoring 18 times in the Ekstraklasa. Though I am sure you can say, he looks like an exciting player. This was Kowalski at the time he was named in the NXGN award for the first time. Though I am just as excited about Marius Dąbrowski, who looks like he will be in the NXGN list next season at one point. He feels like a player who will be able to make it at some point given how good he is at 16. Though my favourite victory of the season was when I somehow managed to win a game despite going down to 9 men. Sometimes, Football Manager can be fun. JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 6 - Season Preview We start the 6th season of the save as a side that for one is not predicted to finish in the bottom 2 for the first time so far. Robert Kowalski has managed to become the best player of the team over the last season, which is a delight. I wonder how long I'll be able to keep hold of him though. Marcel Złomańczuk is now considered the 2nd best player in the squad, which is a sign of our progression. Still, I would like some more development from him soon, or else he could become replaceable. Michał Król is now our 3rd best player, but still our captain. He does have competition in the team, but so far hasn't been displaced. Compared to our previous bad-luck of Benfica and Notingham Forest the last two years having Hadjuk made this our easiest draw since we won the league 5 years ago. We made it count with a decisive 4-2 victory in the home first leg. Then we put on the breaks and held them to just 1 goal in Croatia to advance. Next we had Kalmar (Sweden), who were difficult, but my offense delivered to help us win both legs. Spoiler With the way our league is, I could easily prioritize continental matches, and play my stars just enough domestically to keep them happy. We played fantastic in the group stage all things considered. We started off with two wins and a draw with the 2-1 victory of St Gallen being pretty spectacular considering my star Striker was injured. With him out for the next 4 group matches going 1-1-2 was great, and sufficient to qualify for knockouts at 15/36! In great news for LUX Swift Hesperange also was fantastic this season finishing 9/36 to advance as well. Spoiler In the knockouts we continued to get favorable draws including a couple of rematches. First we had Hammarby IF (Sweden) who we drew 1-1 in the league phase. While we lost 1-2 in Sweden, we came back in Luxembourg with a 2-0 win to advance! Then with Hungarian Kisvarda it was the reverse where we held onto our 3-1 win at home in the away fixture to advance with just the 1 GD again. In the Quarter Finals we faced a surprisingly strong Albanian side KF Tirana. We lost to them in the group stage and were soundly defeated here. Spoiler Cup Back-to-back trophies for us, with the win being an ET victory over Swift. very late offensive subs saw my quick (but terribly skilled) backups wreak havoc on their dead-tired defense. And the best news, is this year this gets us Europa League Qualification! Spoiler League With Europe I had to play lots of rotated squads and that meant 1.5-2* players vs my normal 3-4* so we dropped plenty of points, but still retained our 2nd place position. Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Much better Spoiler Youth Intake Definitely moving in the right direction with this intake with four Elite 5* prospects, one of whom looks very promising. Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler The player to talk about is Guilherme Seco. Either-Footed, Professional CAM who is missing the mental part of the game but once we go professional and I can re-negotiate him to a full time contract I expect great things. Poached Players Our final Poached player appeared and he's a third Center back. No wonder I was having real trouble developing one until just now. He generates with a lot of 10-12 attributes, so at such a good club he could develop well. Showing updates on the other 2 as well. No senior starts, but Carlo Clement is well on his way to at least playing somwhere on loan, maybe at a lower Bundesliga club. Spoiler Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights Our GK has gotten the call-up to the Portugal U21 for the U21 European Championships as their backup GK. Maybe he will get a match? It's his last year of eligibility. The newest player to get Portuguese attention is our young CB Joao Valente 18e who is developing fantasticly. Here is the March callup-sheet where we are seeing a good representation with Luxembourg with our CB/DM Miguel Ribeiro 11g seeing his first CAP since gaining LUX nationality. Spoiler Club Infrastructure Season objective as achieved: recover Professional status! Even with all the money, we still don't have the option to increase Youth Facilities which is frustrating as they are still just Below Average. Instead of doing training facilities I decided to do a double increase in Youth Recruitment, so will have higher running costs but will keep our little hoard together. I don't want to risk going Semi-Pro again. Spoiler Thoughts Excel Season 1 - 15 I've saved the save! It doesn't show, but the vast majority of my starting XI contracts are set to expire in 2044 and without Full-Time status most wouldn't re-sign to a part-time contract. Had I not made the profit this year the team would have imploded. Hopefully with Europa League group stage qualification is slightly more consistent so we can build our treasure-trove and begin to challenge for the domestic title. Our 'old' players are still only 25 as they've been starting since they were 16, so there is plenty of time left before anyone will need to be replaced. Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Our 4th season in Serie A and our 4th season as the favourites to go down! And this one was the most satisfying season yet as we were completely bog average the whole season. But being closer to Eruope than relegation was a nice surprise, as was our 4-1 win against Milan. We're slowly getting better! Players Two breakthrough players for the first team this season:- Armando Lika 35F - 20 year old Albanian left winger. Spent last season on loan in Albania and was really good, coming back a nice shiny 4 star potential. So I stuck him in our team and he repaid us with 7 goals and 4 assists in 36 games. Which is ok, if not earth shattering. But he also played 4 times for the national team and still has the potential to get better and better. Davide Vincenzi 37A - Goes to show how poor our options at centre back are - he;s our first choice at only 17 years old! looks like he could be a proper player as well Youth I treated myself to a nice shiny new HoYD. he looks yummy! so how well did he do on his first intake? well, not his really but, you know A nice bunch of elite talents but they got crappy determination and personalities look at this awesomely named English striker I got! 2 determination! i'd love for him to make it but i'm not convinced..... Wonderkids no official wonderkids and and nobody in the nxgn either. I could really do with some to move on to the next level but can't see where any will come from in the existing youth squad tbh Finances and Upgrades interesting.... Popular Post m15k3BEAST
I started youth challenge with OFK Beograd with two of my friends, but i found out about this topic just now. So, i just finished my 6th season and here is some quick resume so far. In my first season, in Prva liga Srbije, I finished first with ease. Here is League table from 1st season and some players from my intake, Kojic, Mladenovic and Stamenkovic. And the results of Kup Srbije. In my second season I managed to get good results in Superliga Srbije but not so good in Kup Srbije and i don't have any intake pictures from that season and after, so I'm gonna just post some screenshots of my league tables and cup games until now, and then I'm gonna post some more detailed posts every season with detailed informations about everything. In my third season I got in relegation playoffs and finished 9th, and in Cup I got some luck and managed to get to Final. My 4th season was little worse so I was again in relegation playoffs and finished 10th and in Cup it was back to back finals where I lost to Crvena Zvezda. 2027/2028 was my best season as I managed to finish 3rd and qualify for Conference League, and again lose in Cup Final, now against Partizan. Next season I finished my journey in Cup very fast, as I lost in a Quarter Final, Partizan again. I was lucky enough to get into Conference League group stage, but I managed to get only 3 points from 6 games. So many games in season was too much for my players, so I struggled to get any good results in Superliga and in the end was able to finish just as 8th. From that season, I got some nice intake.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
So something happened that I've never experienced before. Luxembourg starts with literally 0 TV deals, which is logical considering the level of football in the country. For the first 20 seasons that never changed. However, when the new season started this happened: Maybe the edited database had a $0 TV deal for 20 seasons? Or maybe by reaching 2.5* Reputation league it triggers the game to add a TV deal? This kind of crazy jump was a very pleasant shock. What has been increasing naturally with the increase in stature of the league is the prize money for both the league and cup, which is a reasonable amount for a tiny league and seriously dwarfed by this TV deal. For the cup we got $402k in total as winners, which is about the same as we got for 2nd place finish in the league. Interestingly we are lagging behind a lesser club in Sponsorship income (they were 7-4 for the past 10 years), but again these are all relatively reasonable Assuming this broadcast revenue is shared somewhat evenly (unsure where I can see that?) I fully expect to see the top half of the league turn professional over the next few years, which will be exciting to keep the challenge up! Again, I never expected this level of a domestic league development when i started this save. I thought it would be like Malta where even with a Tycoon takeover no team could maintain professional status / continually bring in good players.
