For one like ASL Porto it is essentially 100% Portuguese players with the only exception being Cape Verde, which is a natural draw for certain POR clubs (which apparently mine is one of). My 2 other nationality players both had Portuguese primary nationality so weren't actual foreign players. If we can get to Continental Reputation, we might start drawing foreign players in but I expect them to be very rare. This is why I'm excited about the Affiliates finally as that should give me some other nationalities. Something interesting is LUX clubs highest second nationality is actually POR and after that its a steep drop to the FRA, BEL or GER.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Europa League - I really like the new format, it's fun! Here were our results Which meant automatic qualification for the last 16! We did really well in the knockout stage as well! To be honest, we should have won it! Sadly it took the focus of the league a little bit and we only finished 9th, so no european football next season, which is upsetting cos it's fun! Youth Another cracking youth preview and intake! Intake was very nice and my French affiliate club came up trumps for me! Wonderkids Really interesting! I had a Morrocan youth, didn't look much good so I sent him out on loan. And yet... he made the top 50 wonderkid list! Career

Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Review and Youth Intake Season 10 It's easy to fly through the season when you know you're going to get blown out in half your games, will win handily in a few games, and have to actually play the last bits. Finished on the same amount of points, and managed to stay up again by just beating the newly-promoted sides. Case in point, we lost to the top 4 teams 0-4, 0-6, 0-4, 1-3, 1-1 (!), 0-6, 1-3, 0-3 but then we beat Viborg, who went down, 4-2, 4-0, 1-0, and 7-0. With losing a couple of good first team players, developing a couple first team players, and losing a couple first team players, I don't expect much different for the next season. All these current players we're given professional contracts after we turned pro, so they could either reject the contract, or reject a long contract. Starting next season, we will have first team players tied down to 3+3 contracts signed on intake day, They will not be able to leave on frees like everyone else and hopefully turn us into a midtable side, ready to take the next step. Also, sad time for the club as Ali Arslan 01a decided to leave on a free to go play in Turkey rather than resign with us. He wasn't getting as much playing time anymore, but he was a Driven team leader, great for mentoring, and a mainstay for almost 10 seasons at the club, so sad to see him go. Who's who of still around players: Spoiler Gerits 08e is on track to get his first Finnish cap during the international window shortly after this screenshot. Of course he's also leaving on a free at the end of next season. We are very shallow in the defense, so that's not great. But having him for a season is crucial as we have a couple of players from this year's intake to step in to his place. No selling him during the summer as I fear we would get relegated without him. Tønsberg Spelmann 09a developed like mad last year and played pretty well (comparatively) to boot. I actually convinced him to not explore options at the end of his contract, but he still refuses to sign a new one as he would require our squad to be significantly improved first. What else is new. We've got him tied down for a year and a half, so I will probably look to sell him next summer if possible. Managed to give Nielsen 03c a new deal, so he stays. Slthough he's not as good as the players leaving and will be passed by the youth in due time. I will try to sell Sondergaard 08a this summer as he intends to leave on a free in 6 months. A shame since he's a real good attacking option, but hopefully I can get something for him. Would have been nice to have this guy in our team still. We sold him for $2M in installments and a 50% of profit clause last summer to Porto. If he sells for anywhere near his value of around $20M, we will earn ~$9M, so a good deal for someone who wouldn't even sign a full time contract with us. And of course the intake. I signed everyone to 3+3 deals, so when these guys develop, we can keep them against their will to improve our squad. Or that is the hope. Tons of wingers in this intake. Hagedorn 10a looks very promising if he has the potential. He will start next season when he is 16. Holm 10b looks slighty less talented, but I can give him a run in the first team after Sondergaard 08a leaves. Excited to have a good defender in Ronnow 10d (and to a lesser extend Syndergaard 10f). Both are a bit short, that's the only downside. Finances are slightly down from last year and facilities are the same, but we just pumped ~$3M into upgrades to both youth and training facilities set to be completed in September. And of course no transfers in.

officiallydeej
Season Summary We exceeded my expectations and ended up securing safety with four games to spare. It was a season of three thirds, with us initially starting terribly and only picking up 2 wins in our first 13 games. We picked up after the winter break, managing 7 wins in our next 13 which had us all but safe with 7 games remaining. Our worst run of the season was those last seven games where we failed to win, largely due to me trying to give game time to our younger players but we still survived by 10 points, a huge success for our first season at this level. Ferencvaros didn't win the title for the first time in 7 seasons, finishing runners up to Mol Fehervar. Although the gap to the top teams looks big we did compete well taking points off all of the top four teams, whilst beating fifth placed Honved on all three of our meetings against them. Our cup run again ended in the fifth round to fellow top tier side Diosgyori, with a 4-0 home thumping reflecting my desire to keep my first team fit and fresh for the league games either side of the tie. On the club structure side we managed an upgrade to both training facilities and youth recruitment which was handy, though the board won't budge on junior coaching yet. Although we lose a bit of money month on month it is currently well covered by the TV rights in the league so I'm hoping to push some more upgrades next season. Annoyingly my U19s aren't playing in a league yet and my 2nd team seem to have disappeared altogether so I'll be looking to get some of the younger lads on loan asap until the invitation to a youth league arrives. Youth Intake Another strong looking intake. For the second season in a row the best prospect was a centre half called Nagy which could be confusing in a few season! He went straight into the first team group and managed 5 appearances at the end of the season without disgracing himself. Koronczai also came on as a sub in the last two games but will at least start next season in the under 19s. In total I signed 7 players from this intake and have high hopes we will see a few in the first team in the coming seasons. Key Players Lekai is our best player in my assistant's opinion and he didn't disappoint. Despite conceding 64 overall I have no doubt he saved us more than the 10 points we survived by. He's only just entering his peak as a keeper but I do worry we don't have anyone near his level when he does start to decline. Murai had the highest average rating in the squad and managed another 13 goals despite me dropping him back to AMC to try and make us a bit tighter against the stronger teams. His strike partner Popov hit 19 to take both to over 40 goals each in two seasons. Toth was a revelation at centre half after last season's defensive retirements. He did unfortunately break his back 5 games before the end of the season and I'm hoping it doesn't do too much harm to his physical stats before he returns ready for next seasons. Transfers No transfers but two of our defenders from the first season success retired before the start of the season. Three more players will be leaving on frees this summer after becoming surplus to requirements in the first team. Our young midfielder Urbantsok has been making noises about wanting to leave all season and has now confirmed he will be exploring his options at the end of his contract. He's now in the Hungary u21s and I'm at the crossroads of do I try and sell him now or let him run his contract down to get one more season out of him and push for a top half finish.

Basically, whatever formula the game uses to generate the option to ask the board for a Youth Facility upgrade says the board will never approve an upgrade so the option isn't made available to even ask (even though you could certainly convince the board to do it). From others editing savegames it seems to be linked to your Chairmen's Working With Youngsters value and the club reputation. In my save last year in Slovenia if you edited the chairmen's WwY to 20 the option to upgrade would magically appear. You'll also notice that even w/o a Chairman switch if you improve your club's reputation it will return. For my save in Luxembourg I'm locked at Great for now until either 1) Board Takeover or 2) Increase to Continental 3.5* Reputation. We've reported this to SI multiple times so they have to be aware of it, but it still hasn't been addressed.
Popular Post grff
Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2040/41 Season Review A disappointing season by recent standards as we were only able to finish 3rd in the league. A run of six successive draws was typical of a season where we dropped vital points at vital times. Our Champion's League campaign ended in the knock-out play-off round to fellow Belgian team Anderlecht. One consolation was a domestic cup win. A mixture of stats. Notably our main striker struggled for form but luckily our usual winger bagged a fair few. Youth intake was really disappointing as we only took on a few. Most came through with pretty poor personalities to go with low attributes. Transfers Season history

Popular Post Barnsley
FC United - Season 18 - 40/41 Sky Bet Championship Cant even begin to tell you how incredible that felt, It is what stories are made of! 21st against 22nd final day of the season, you couldn't make up that type of script. (we were 22nd), only a win would keep us up, we had a better GD just about. We were awful all season apart from the first 5 games we just struggled to do a thing, dropping into the bottom 3 with 4 games to go. Luckily there were 3 poorer teams and I think at some point i will go down as our intake has been poor for 4 seasons now, we haven't got much else to offer. Just a battle. This final game will go down as a classic either way - we lead 1-0 until the 87th minute where they equalised - infact it looked a mile offside you know when you can just tell it was off? well it gave the goal. we went down the other end and scored to make it 2-1, we could of added a third as they attacked. However in the 93rd minute, our defender decides to trip the striker. Penalty. well our heroic goalkeeper saved it and we survived! on the final day and final kick of the game. Those are the stories that keep you coming back for me. Think i will revamp my formation for the coming season, 4-2-3-1 we look way too open for this league, but there is so much quality and we have very little of it. Hoping the 3 teams come up are just as bad as it will be our only chance! Phew is all i can say!

officiallydeej
Considering our youth players are still only subs for the most part I don't really understand what has happened here. Using the same starting 11 as last season, with only 2 or 3 still at a developing age.. this is the table with 7 games to go. As amazed and delighted as I am, we've played Ferencvaros twice and drawn 5-5 and lost 4-3 after leading 5-2 and 3-1 in each respective game!
Popular Post Winski
Jyväskylän Jalkapalloklubi Season review Season 3 | 2025 What a fantastic season this was!! For the first time in our history we became champions of Finland!! It was a great battle between JJK and HJK. And in the final match of the season we played against HJK at home. We had 2 points more then them, so a draw would be enough. But we managed to beat them with 1-0, and became champions of Finland. Fantastic! So that means we will play Champions League next season. In the Suomen Cup we lost in the Qtr Final against KuPs. First XI These are the players that brought us the title. As you can see, I'm using a lot of Academy players already. Only five of them are real players. My GK Viljala is still my first choice, and that won't change next season. DL Saarikko played almost everything, but he's our weakest link at the moment. So he will probably loosing his spot next season. Kirvesoja is a key player for us. Striker Lehtonen is still scoring a lot of goals, but he lost his place in the first team. And the last real player is Arttu Leivonen. Still only 20 years old, and scoring some very important goals for us. He's a good backup for even Nyberg 24f, Eriksson 23e or Eerola 24c. Some of these youngsters really surprised me this season. DC Pietilä 24e was the biggest surprise for me. I put him in the first team as our left DC because his left foot is 'reasonable'. And I recognised his talent, but I didn't expext such an development. FC København and FK Bodø/Glimt are now interested in signing him. And he's not the only one: a lot of my players are on shortlists all around Europe. Topscorer and our best player Kalle Haglund 23a for example. He is wanted by Juventus. Or Nyberg 24f, where Ajax is keen on signing him. I really hope that I can keep all these players and try to reach the CL Group Stage with them.GK Ville ViljalaDR Ilkka Jokela 23iDC Joonas Tuomela 23hDC Risto Pietilä 24eDL Jimi SaarikkoMC Daniil Konov 23fMC Ville KirvesojaAMR Janne Eriksson 23eAMC Kalle Haglund 23aAML Jarkko Nyberg 24fSC Juha Eerola 24cSub Arttu LeivonenSub Aleksis LehtonenSub Kalle Pasanen 23dSub Fred Diakité 23k Europa Conference League Our first European adventure ended in the Third Qual. Shankly84
I am looking at starting a save in the lower leagues in England. My local team, Prescot Cables, are playing in level 8 of the pyramid. Am I ok to load 7 levels and take over them if they get promoted to level 7 after holidaying? Would this be acceptable for this challenge? I know I keep asking all these question, for some reason I just can't get going this year. I wanted to play in a nation that hasn't been completed yet, but I just can't get going. I started a save in Kazakhstan and it was going gteat, but then I realised that we weren't in the national cup for some reason. There must of been a bug in the file. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary I honestly have no idea where this season came from. We started the season strong and never looked back, going into the winter break top of the league and 3 points clear. We ended up finishing third, only 5 points off the title despite the bulk of our starting 11 being exactly the same as the previous season. Although I went back to two up front and tried to get at teams more I wouldn't call it a huge tactical overhaul so to qualify for Europe is an incredible achievement by the team. All 3 of our star players are now approaching or over 30 so we need to start integrating youth quickly if we want to follow this up with more success. We only made it as far as the fourth round of the Magyar Kupa this season with our second string losing on penalties to Honved. I'm not sure the gap between unplayable teams and the top of Hungarian football is as big as I first suspected as this season's second division champions were previously unplayable until this campaign. We managed both a junior coaching and youth recruitment this season which showed in our intake, as well as switching our HoYD for a professional personality which unfortunately hasn't yet shown improvement in the players coming through. Key Players This section is starting to feel like rinse and repeat but that's because we have 4 players who are a lot better than the rest of our team, so 3 have to make it here! Lekai had another incredible season between the sticks, averaging well over 7 and turning in more than one 9+ performance, usually against the Ferencvaros battering ram! National team manager Ralf Rangnick has been to watch him twice now and I expect him to be called up over the summer. Borbas has been in the team over the past three seasons but until now was unspectacular however with 10 goals and 13 assists from the right wing this was a breakout season for him. Annoyingly his rise has lead to him announcing he will be exploring his options when his contract expires at the end of next season. Murai (and his strike partner Popov) continued to excel, moving back up front this season and scoring 21 goals as the pair again bagged over 40 between them. He is at his peak now and I was starting to worry that both he and Popov would be irreplaceable but this season's intake has given me hope. Youth Intake Another very promising intake with six elite and two top talents joining the club's under 19s team. We upgraded the youth recruitment in August and it showed. Boros looks to have the ability to become our replacement for the (potentially) outgoing Urbantsok in midfield but annoyingly only has 2 determination and an unambitious personality. He'll be joining the first team group for pre-season and will be seeing game time next season. Szego looks to be exactly what I was hoping for at the top of the pitch, with his 14 finishing already on a par with the leading marksmen at this level. He started our penultimate game of the season due to a suspension for Murai and is already the third best striker at the club. Both are tied down to 6 year (3+3) contracts which I will look to extend every other season. Transfers Klausz was our 4th choice left winger and Schindler our 5th choice striker so I opted not to renew the contract of either and both left at the start of the season. Katona had a largely successful loan (15 goals in 42 games) in the lower leagues and will be returning next season as our 4th choice centre forward. Horvath was a decent striker I didn't want to lose but was annoyed he didn't start over my deadly duo. His unhappiness started to affect others so I let him move on before the season started. We were very lucky that our strikers only missed 3 games between them all season so he wasn't missed too much. Urbantsok will be exploring his options this summer and has no interest in renewing. He is our best midfielder but only average for the level we are at so I am crossing everything that no options are forthcoming and he opts to stay! Next Season More of the same please! I'm not sure if this season was a fluke or my team are better than I give them credit for but at 600/1 again you'd have to expect this will be a hard act to follow. A couple of the academy graduates did contribute, though largely off the bench so I will attempt to get them more starting minutes next season without affecting results too much. We will be entering the Europa Conference League at the third qualifying stage and as I always play (unsuccessful!) lower league saves it will be my first ever attempt at the competition. I've no idea how strong we are in comparison to the other teams in it but in my eyes it's mainly an extra income source for facility upgrades at this point. In terms of my quest to reinvent the Mighty Magyars of the 50s, we have two Hungarian U21s (Urbantsok & Borbas) & one U19 (Tamas Nagy 02-Elite). Lekai is also knocking on the door of the senior team but I think it will be a while before we are helping Ralf Rangnick get the country back at the top table.
Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Youth Intake Season 11 Another nice intake, but again full of attacking players when we need solid defenders. I might have to switch to a 4-2-3-1 from a 4-3-3 with a DM, given the amount of attacking talent we've acquired in the last few seasons. I have too many options to develop everyone at striker, so will have to figure out loans out for next season. Hjulmand 11a doesn't look to have the attributes of a 3.5 star CA player for us. A Light-Hearted personality isn't great for development, but professionalism and ambition could still be decent, just no guarantees. The shift in formations might be necessary to get him on the field if he develops over the next offseason. I have tons of depth up top and on the wings, so not sure where to fit Knudsen 11b in. He looks solid for both positions and hopefully has good PA. We desperately need more DCs, so Nedergaard 11d will be given every chance to develop. I'm sure he will get a fair few sendings off with that aggression.

Of the 4 Top Talents 2 have some potential another Winger (which is where we have the most depth) And a LB who is fine except for having that awful 3 Natural Fitness The other two are uninspiring CBs. Oh well… Poached Player My player poached by MRT showed up, pretty forgettable. Spoiler HOYD & U21 Coaches Even with 2 okay Top Prospects I'm still pretty underwhelmed with what we got this year. Part of it may be constant changes in U21 Head Coaches. This summer Swift and Una Strassen took my 2 Ghaian Head Coach & U21 Coach. So I went with this Austrian Driven HC. For HOYD there aren't any that have Luxembourg knowledge and/or language. I think I really need to find a Portuguese HOYD due to the foreign youth academy as that might be the issue I'm having with my current HOYD? For now I've taken a retired Bhutanese international and a Zambian generated HOYD as U21 coaches to develop them while I look. The best option is San Dara who is a retired Cambodian international who generated and played his whole career in Portugal. He had his first stint of HOYD with MRT, but was let go. I wish he was more professional and unfortunately, he will only accept the HOYD job and not a U21 job so I can't train him up. If by the end of the summer no one better generates I might just take the chance on him. Spoiler Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights Update in a minute Spoiler Club Infrastructure We added a 3rd Affiliate but the Board wouldn't let me choose it this time. Best of the bad options was an Austrian club. Just Average & Average. I'll probably add a 4th soon, but no rush as these clubs aren't that special. Spoiler Luxembourg Well LUX didn't impress in Europe this year as the league lost 2 places down to 21 and we fell down to 62. Swift though are doing fine as they advanced to knockouts in the Conference league. LUX also lost points in the Coefficients table and the champion will have a longer qualification path. Spoiler Thoughts Excel Season 1 - 15 Excel Season 16 - 27 Our current squad is fine, but as I'll detail in a following post the other clubs in LUX are able to really find some quality players in Portugal and France to challenge us especially with the lackluster youth intakes we've been getting. What we are really lacking is having a wonderful Goalscorer. We have 2 creative FalseNine strikers, and our older DLF but we haven't gotten a speedy AF or lethal finisher to develop properly. Without that we just can't score enough against the clubs in Europe. Edited December 28, 2022 by WhiteCat33
Popular Post siiriainen
**FM 21** Hamra Annaba Club Sportif (Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur, Tier 3 Algeria) Season 1 - 2021/2022 - A New Beginning Club Background: Located in the third largest city in Algeria, Annaba (which is a costal city near the border of Tunisia), Hamra Annaba Club Sportif was founded in 1944 and was just promoted to Algeria's third tier. Although they currently play in the amateur divisions, the team had a spell of success in the 1960s and 1970s with league title from the top division in 1964 and the football association's top cup in 1972. The team has a decently sized 15,000 capacity stadium (no idea if it comes close to a sell out), but basic and poor facilities, including fairly basic junior coaching and youth recruitment. Will a new manager from Albania who doesn't speak Arabic or French be able to return this team to glory using only players from the youth academy and eventually win the CAF Champions League or will he be sacked midway through the first season? Only time will tell. Algeria's third tier, the Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur, is a completely amateur division with no foreign players allowed - not that that is much of an issue for me since I'm not signing anyone - split into 4 different groups. We are in Groupe C of the league. Each group has 16 teams and they play each other twice, with the top team promoted into tier two while the bottom two are relegated. Despite being freshly promoted the board at Hamra Annaba Club Sportif are an ambitious bunch and seek a top two finish in the league. Since the team only has 17 players (that are vulnerable to be snatched for free since they're amateurs) and are only just promoted, this may be a tall order. Hopefully the board is sympathetic. Time to hire an assman and Head of Youth Development and seeing what the shape of this squad is like before the season kicks off. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary League - It was always going to be a tough ask to repeat the success of last season and so it proved. The first half of the season was particularly poor and the hangover from our maiden European adventure saw us down in 9th at the winter break. Form did pick up drastically following a switch back to 4-2-3-1 in the second half of the season and we roared up the league to finish 4th. Annoyingly Honved won the cup so despite securing a 4th place finish by beating Zalaegerszegi on the last day there will be no European football for us next season. Hat tip to the top two who absolutely smashed it out of the park this season. Cup - No heroics as usual. We won 8-2 in the third round against a non-league side before limping out in round four to second tier side Gyirmot. Europa Conference League - We won our first ever tie 5-3 on aggregate against Slovenian side Domzale before getting knocked out 4-0 (3-0,1-0) by Wolfsburg. The real story this season in Europe was Mol Fehervar, who had a tremendous run to the quarter finals before being knocked out by eventual winners Valencia. Misc. - Another set of upgrades to youth facilities and youth recruitment puts our facilities up there with the best in Hungary. The board won't budge on junior coaching despite us having a decent wedge banked. Following the loss of Urbantsok on a free last year, winger Borbas has unfortunately opted to do the same which will leave a huge gap on our right hand side next season. Key Players Lekai has been on this list every season and is showing no signs of slowing down. He wasn't as good as last campaign but still managed 9 clean sheets. Sadly he never made it into the Hungary squad and I fear that ship has now probably sailed for him. A first appearance in this section for Halacsi despite him playing in all four seasons under my tenure was just reward for his best campaign to date. 4 goals and 12 assists was a decent return for the inside forward who at the age of 24 still has his best years ahead of him. Three certainties in life are death, taxes and Murai appearing as one of my key players. 26 goals for our talisman this year who despite being the wrong side of 30 is showing absolutely no sign of slowing down. He dropped back to attacking midfield for the last 10 games, becoming even more profile with 8 of his goals coming from that position. Youth Intake (Forgot to take player screenshots at intake so they're from the end of the season) Plenty more elite talents here though I am not convinced by all of them. That being said Illes brings some much needed depth between the sticks and is easily our second best keeper after Lekai. Our U19s still aren't playing any games and haven't been entered into the youth leagues (maybe a bug at this point?) so I'll get him out on loan as soon as he turns pro. Toth looks to be a potential talent in attacking midfield, also bringing a rare professional personality into our generally unambitious squad. I signed up a total of 7 players from this intake but don't expect them all to make the grade longer term. Transfers Urbantsok left us on a free (is there any way to show both sold and released players together?) at the start of the season which we took a while to recover from. Frustratingly for all his banging on about wanting to play at a higher level he ended up at a second division team! It will be incredibly annoying if the same happens with Borbas this summer but I have an inkling it just might. We didn't sell anyone this season and I struggled to attract interest in my younger players so only managed to place one out on loan, something I need to improve quickly. Next Season I'm not really sure what to expect but I'd like to think we are becoming a permanent fixture in the top division now, maybe even a top half side. We seem comfortably better than the lesser sides but the top teams, particularly the top two seem to have come on leaps and bounds and raced away from us. In the 6 games against Ferencvaros and Puskas Academia we shipped a total of 23 goals and took no points, something we really need to improve to try and get back in Europe. My Mighty Magyar project is coming along nicely, with Borbas (u21s), Nagy 02-Elite, Boros 03-Elite (both U19s) and Tasi (U18s) taking our total number of international representatives to four. The senior national team did qualify for the 2026 World Cup but exited in the group stage. Edited December 29, 2022 by officiallydeej
Popular Post polesetter1
Hello everyone! I've decided to join the thread, as this is the challenge suited for me. I was the fan of building my clubs on newgens from my academy, so applying all those rules to my save have to be fun! I was thinking about taking over Kotwica Kołobrzeg, as this is the closest club to where I live, but they're already on this topic, so I've picked Stomil Olsztyn to bring them back to their former glory! (They've already played in Ekstraklasa.) The club is in debt €1,000,000, but I think that my style of managing will heal the finances. We are expected to try to avoid relegation, so it should be a calm start of my career, as long as I won't get relegated. I've got no future transfers in, so another good news! Here is our saviour: My first task will be to complete the backroom staff. Plenty of freedom here! I've got around €50K per annum to spend, so world class specialists are out of reach for the moment.Summary: EDIT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Squad Analysis Spoiler SQUAD ANALYSIS We'll have 30 players at start of the season, 6 of them in U18 team and 5 of them being newgens from 2022-23 season. Left wingers: 1. Shun Shibata 26 Solid winger. Quite pacey (12/12), with good dribbling (12) and solid technique (11). Team player (16) with high work rate (16) and proper determination (11). Flair (13). Potential mentor. 2. Jakub Banul 19 Good dribbler (13) with some pace (11/12). Determined (13) team-player (11) with work rate (11). Inside forward. Can play as classic winger on the right. Home-grown. Attacking midfielder: 1. Werick Caetano 24 Determined (15) and creative (13) player with good technique (13) and dribbling (13). Fast (13/13). But he's selfish (7) and lazy (8). Could reate danger, nevertheless. Shadow striker or attacking mid. 2. Sebastian Szypulski 25 Hard-working (15) shadow-striker with very good finishing (14). Has some pace (11/11), technique (10) and composure (10). Determination (11), teamwork (10). Home-grown. 3. Michał Żukowski 20 Det (12), Team (7), WR (10), Flair (15). Dribbling (11), technique (10), passing (8). Finishing (9), composure (11). Acceleration (11). Maybe a shadow striker? 4. Marek Niewiadomski 21 Pacey (14/14). Det (11) Team (7) WR (8). Average technique and terrible defending. Lacks quality to be playmaker. Maybe another shadow striker. 5. Łukasz Borkowski 20 Slow player (9/10) with good technique (13), passing (13), dribbling (12), flair (14) and composure (12). Vision (11) but low teamwork (5) and work rate (7). Determination (11). Playmaker? Home-grown. Strikers: 1. Bartosz Florek 18 Determined (15) with good finishing (12) and composhure (12). Good dribbler (14) with some amount of pace (12/11). Technique (11), first touch (9). Home-grown. Most talented guy? 2. Piotr Kurbiel 27 WR (12), Team (13), Det (11). Solid heading (11), strength (12) and jumping (12). Poor finishing (10), composure, first touch and technique (9s). Typical target man. 3J.Kamil Janicki 16 Potential target man. Nice finishing (12) and heading (13). Good strength (11). Determined (13). WR (10) Team (7). Might have potential. Syldatk is surely the main goalkeeper. We need to wait for youth intake to create some depth on this position! With this amount of defenders we'll need to play with flat 4 at the back. Jońca and Karlikowski can have wing back role, so we'll probably attack using left flank. Kuban has to go. Not many central and defensive midfielders. It's hard to imagine a tactic using only one player on DM/CM positions, so we'll have to use 2 DMs or 2 CMs. I'm leaning towards retraining our CMs as DMs. We'll be using wingers. We have proper depth and quite solid players for our ambitions. Left winger will be used in inside forward role or as inverted winger. Too many attacking midfielders. Borkowski needs to be loaned out. Lots of potential shadow strikers here, so we'll be using one of them in that role. (Maybe two and strikerless tactics? FM 21 would like that!) Not much depth when it comes to strikers. Florek looks like very good advaned forward or poacher. I'll surely give him a chance this season! Kurbiel can play as target man, which could work fine with shadow striker behind. We'll train two formations: 4-2-3-1 and 4-2-4-0 TACTICS Spoiler Edited December 29, 2022 by polesetter1 Added squad analysis & tactics
Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Really pleasing season! I felt we were stagnating a bit at the end of last season and decided to really shake things up. I promoted our best 5 youth prospects to the first team at 17/18 - a good year or two before I usually like to do it, and at least 4 more than I usually like to promote! But I felt desperate times called for desperate measures. As a result, i wasn't expecting too much and would have been happy with just survival while the youth players bedded themelves in. But I surpassed my expectations by finishnig 7th and qualifying for Europe. We could have done better as well but a poor start (5 defeats in first 7) and finish (1 win in last 8) ruined us. But back in Europe next season! Players Really interesting! for some reason I'm finding that my poorest players at intake are more often than not turning into my best first team players. After Lorenzo Lippi 40K winning golden boy twice and U21 FIFA best player 3 years in a row come this:- |I don't think I've ever had a plyer rated at intake as an M ever make the first team, let alone win golden boy! I mean, M is just ridiculous! bottom of the pile stuff! I hardly ever even sign that many youth players! oh, and i still have Tarek Ramadan 45A to promote - 80 goals in 22 starts for the youth teams!!! Quite excited by him Wonderkids Promoting so many youth players to first team football at such a young age is always a gamble. I knew it had paid off when the list for this years top 50 wonderkids came in though:- Four of my players in there for the first time! Khafi 42J is a Moroccan full back I sent out on loan who has done really really well. Mazzoleni 43C and Rietveld 43B are full back, Mengoli 44B a midfielder, which I'm really pleased about as I was running a little low on middies. Youth Another 5 star golden generation promised! and I was very excited to see 6 elite talents come through! and then I looked at their personalities and determination and it all came crashing down honestly, other than Giorgi could it be any worse?? Really disappointing to be honest, i'd swap them all for a professional 2 star potential! Career Edited December 29, 2022 by libbyshuss

Winski
Well, the thing I was afraid of, just happened. I lost two of my best players. Both of them didn't want to stay at JJK any longer, so this was the best I could get for them. The money is very welcome, and in both deals we managed to get a 50% clausule. And I think we will get some nice money in the future if Haglund 23e is developing well at Napoli. With this money we are finally able to upgrade our Youth Facilities for the first time!
Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Review Season 11 Did we stay up on the final day for a third consecutive season, yes. Did we look slightly more promising and began to beat more than just the two promoted teams, also yes. Are the promoted teams coming up next year stronger than any of the promoted teams we've ever had, yes. Are we ready to have another fighting season, not yet. We need to do a squad overhaul in the offseason since we have a bunch of deadweight now. I will do a squad update post shortly and outline our team, This year was the year of big money transfers. Starting with some not-so-big money, Gerits 08e was set to leave on a free, so with just over 6 months on his contract we sold him to an interested Porto side (who had previously bough Aaquist 07a) for no money, but with a 50% of next sale clause. I think we absolutely fleeced them given that they could have signed him to a pre-contract if they waited a few days. Not sure we will ever make anything off that clause, but it's better than nothing. Using our sell-on clause for Aaquist 07a, the board negotiated a $9M offer to sell the clause. I was tempted to take it, but we had also just agreed to sell our best player, Tonsberg Spelmann 09a, for $9M upfront plus a 50% clause to Dortmund. He was going to leave on a free in just over 6 months, so we cashed in. Aaquist 07a still has 2 years left on his Porto deal, so if he doesn't get sold next summer I will attempt to sell the clause. (Check back for the squad update to see our key players) This balance will jump to closer to $10M when the Tonsberg Spelmann deal goes through on the 1st of July. There are pending upgrades to both training and youth, and then I will try to upgrade both again midseason to offset our transfer income for tax purposes. No transfers in, but a few minor outs in January.

Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 7 - Review Manchester United decided to make my January transfer window a difficult one when they signed Mariusz Dąbrowski from us for £5M, with it potentially rising to £6.75M after 10 appearances. It did mean that we got enough money to make more training facilities upgrades. Yet, despite losing arguably our best player, we found ourselves enjoying our post winter break form and only losing 2 of the last 3 matches to give us a scare. The form we had going into this period was just outstanding. It was so outstanding, that we managed to win the PKO Ekstraklasa for the 2nd season in a row. It did rely on the almightiest of collapses from Śląsk Wrocław, but in the end, the title was ours rather comfortably in the end. Understandably, the board were delighted with our 2nd straight league win, and one of our better players praised me for the title win as well. I'm also now the only club legend, meaning that if we suddenly build a new stadium, I would be in with a chance of having a stadium named after me. Surprisingly, Marcel Złomańczuk got capped for Poland, and has been named for the 2030 World Cup squad for Poland. Mateusz Szulc got 8th place in the NXGN award at the age of just 16. I think you can see why he's rated so highly. While Mariusz Dąbrowski still got named 23rd in the NXGN list, despite leaving us for Manchester United. Speaking of youth graduates, this is our youth intake for this season. I'll only be showing the top 4 players, but I signed all of the players of this intake. Aleksander Wawryszczuk is the player at the top of the list, and you can immediately tell that he's a Deep Lying Playmaker based on his attributes. Needs a bit of work to replace the one that left for Man Utd, but he has potential. Out of all of the players that arrived, Tomasz Korolczuk is the one with the best current ability. He just adds to our already growing collection of exciting young CMs already at the club. Jakub Kutera is a wide player who needs a bit of work to become good enough for me to throw into the first team. While Nowak has the potential to become my first choice keeper, but needs to develop quite a bit to earn that right, he's got some very glaring weaknesses in his game. Still, we've won 4 trophies so far, and I like to think that this collection can grow ever more powerful. We're also closing in on a spot in the hall of fame for domestic and Polish managers as well. Once that happens, I'll be sure to brag about it. I would like to win the Puchar Polski one day though. Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 8 - Preview Heading into the new season, we have improved our facilities to the point that we have excellent training facilities, great youth facilities and exceptional academy coaching and youth recruitment at the club. Heading into the new season, being 2-time league champions and having won 2 on a spin, I knew that things might become harder for us as we try to win our 3rd straight title. Between the top two teams on paper not even being in Europe this season, things could easily fall away for us as we attempt to get into the League Phase of Champions League for the very first time. So as we talk about the best three players in the team, it is of no surprise that Mateusz Szulc comes up as the best player in the team. The only major concern about him is the fact he has a £2.5M release clause that I am expecting to be activated soon rather than later. Robert Kowalski has been our leading marksman for the last three seasons, and I hope that will continue to be the case. He is quickly closing on a record that has been held by Jakub Szuta for a long time now, and one he breaks that record, he will be the record league goalscorer for Motor Lublin in their history. What may surprise or even concern you is the fact that our 3rd best player is also a left-back. But, Marcel Złomańczuk is also able to play as a right-back, so I could absolutely rotate him from side to side if needed. He is that versatile. If you guys wants to have a better look at the entire squad that I plan on using in the league this season, I have linked the video where I have gone over all of the players at the beginning of the 8th season. Club Background: Located in El Hadjar, a town of 37,000 people in north east Algeria, Ittihad Riadh Baladiat El Hadjar (better known as IRB El Hadjar) was founded in 1975 and has had little to no success in their history. Just promoted into Algeria's third tier, the team has a newly built stadium with a capacity of 3718 that is owned by the club (not sure if this was mirroring real life or if it happened in game), but basic and poor facilities, including basic junior coaching and youth recruitment. Each group has 16 teams and they play each other twice, with the top team promoted into tier two while the bottom four are relegated. The 2nd and third place team enter a promotion playoff to try to join the 2nd division. The board at IRB El Hadjar are a realistic bunch, knowing their limitations and only expecting to avoid relegation. That's fine with me since that's my goal too!. The team only has 17 players and are in a completely amateur division so the challenge will be keeping bodies on the team and collecting enough points for survival until we can get a youth intake for the next season. In the meantime, it is time to hire an assman and Head of Youth Development and seeing what the shape of this squad is like before the season kicks off.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
A.S. Luxembourgo Porto World of Football 2050 Luxembourg Domestic League {Part 1 Edit, as I am out of time, but will update later as I feel how things have shaken out in Luxembourg is pretty interesting} Season Preview I want to show how at this point we only have ONE player in the Media Best XI and that's our young star CB. What has totally transformed since pre-media money is this Dream XI was all Swift Hesperange & Us with it probably 7/4 players each season. Now: Swift Hesperange (6) ; Titus Petange (3) ; Differdange (1) ; ALS Porto (1). If you look through the players, ours is the only one developed domestically. Also notice our drop down to 4th in the Season Preview at 15-2, pretty obvious when you look at what players they've brought in. Spoiler Teams Swift Hesperange The team who has been strong this entire save. However their demands on their head coaches is steep and none have met the mark recently so the turnover rate has been a new HC every season as they chase a return to the top of the league. They are on the second of our Ghanian Youth Coaches now, maybe he will fair better. Even with their slip domestically they have consistently advanced to the knockout rounds of either the Conference or Europa League to remain well within the top 50 clubs in Europe. Financially due to Europe they've gotten by far the most money and while they spend a few million every year on transfers and by far the most in the league on players they are still investing in the club with a new stadium and 3 Training+youth facility upgrades. Spoiler Titues Petange The new rising force in LUX due completely to their star Andoran striker Carlos Melgao who is only 24. He's only played 3 full campaigns for Titus and scored 41, 39 & 45 goals in each one. He is deservedly in the Media Best XI and is the most dominant striker by a mile right now in the country. He was a bargain find in the depths of Portugal Lower Leagues. Of the top teams this is the only one who actually has a number of Domestically developed players. Spoiler Differdange Spoiler Una Strassen Spoiler League & Cup Performance We have dominated both League and Cup for the past few seasons, but that was just broken with us losing both this past campaign. [Note we show up weird because of how this club is set-up in the game] Spoiler European Active Leagues France Primarily PSG dominance in the league as one would expect, but a lot of cup different cup winners. Spoiler Germany 2050 Dortmund has finally done it and unseated Bayern! They won 2 Champions Leagues before they could win the Bundesliga and unfortunately Bayer Leverkusen couldn't repeat their surprise 2039 title and have fallen off since then with Shalke and BMG replacing them as the 3rd team. In the Pokal I'd say Koln winning is an upset. Spoiler Belgium Less clear dominance here recently with 5 different champions in the past 5 seasons and that doesn't include Standard or RSC Anderlecht who each only won the league once and its been a long while. Biggest surprise winner is Beerschot in 2047 and they got 3rd 2 seasons ago, so being beaten by them in Europe feels less bad. Key to their success could have been a Tycoon Takeover 10 years ago. Spoiler Portugal Sporting have come back into dominance with Porto's early run of strength all but erased with them only finishing 3rd once in the past 7 seasons after 11 titles in the first part of the simulation and no cup wins either. Spoiler Europe Club Continental Competitions Conference League The active leagues are dominating this competition, though every few years an English or Spanish side wins. This deep into the simulation we aren't seeing any surprise nations making it to the final. Spoiler Europa League Lots of finalists & winners from France and Germany showing the power of an active league this deep into a simulation. Spoiler Champions League Without England loaded there's a good diversity of winners with the 'surprise' being the rise of Dortmund and AC Milan who have won 2 and 3 CL respectively. Spoiler National Teams Luxembourg National Team National team hasn't accomplished anything bouncing around in the 100's - 120's rankings and never qualified for any major tournaments. Recently just lost out in WCQ and 2 years ago they did well in Euro Qualifying, but weren't quite good enough. I loaded an older yearly save to show how close they were. Only positive is when they got relegated to the bottom Nations league they turned it around and climbed right back up. Spoiler Cape Verde National Team Last update in 2040 I was very excited about CPV as they had just finished Runners-Up twice in the African Cup of Nations, but since then they've only made it to the QF once. and didn't make the last WCQ group stage by getting knocked out by Guinea in the 2nd round and missed out advancing in 2043/45. Spoiler Portugal National Team At their lowest rank all save at 14th and that's as since the last update in 2040 they haven't won any competitions. How did they do in this last WC? Pretty poor getting knocked out in the 2nd round by Ireland on Penalties! Spoiler International Competitions Euro Cup Belgium and Germany have been regulars in the Semi-Finals but have failed to topple the dominance of England and Italy who have done surprisingly well without their nations loaded. Spoiler African Cup Spoiler World Cup Italy and England couldn't transfer their European performance to the world stage but France is rocking it with 3 titles! Surprise runner up for Norway this past WC where they knocked out Argentina, Netherlands & Italy on their way to an ET loss to France. Very impressive! Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary League - A step back in the name of progress with a disappointing but secure 8th placed finish. It became apparent after 10 games that our front two Popov and Murai weren't going to continue performing as they had in the first four seasons of the challenge so I opted to throw in some of my younger players and begin the handing of the baton. This was the first season two of our graduates (Nagy 02-Elite & Boros 03-Elite) became regular starters with both registering over 30 starts. In total 12 academy graduates made 5 or more appearances, meaning I'm not too disheartened by the lower league position than previous campaigns. Cup - We made the Quarter Final and honestly should have gone further. For the second season in a row we lost to Gyirmot who finished 13th in the second tier, my own stubbornness to play our cup keeper costing me as he made two mistakes in a 2-1 defeat. The winner of the cup enters the Europa League qualifiers (2nd-4th in the league only go into the Conference League) so I'll be having more of a go at this from now on. Europa Conference League - N/A Misc. - We managed an upgrade to both training and youth facilities this season but that has hit us hard financially. The board still won't budge on junior coaching which is annoying as we are getting higher potential youngster through but without any U19s fixtures it's hard to close the gap between low CA and higher PA without playing them in the first team and sacrificing more results. The nation's coefficient is now ranked 21st, up from 26th last season so it is getting easier for Hungarian teams to reach the group stages of the EL & ECL but none have made it to the Champions League groups so far. Key Players Lekai reprises his place despite an average season by his standards (luckily for him his average is better than everyone else's good!). He only conceded 45 goals which probably reinforces that my problems were at the top of the pitch this season rather than in defence. We do now have a decent second keeper so I now rest him for the cup games. It perhaps looks an odd choice to have someone here who only started 9 games all season but Szego 03-Elite's performances at the back end of the season has given me hope that there is life after Murai and Popov. I'm undecided whether to give Popov one last chance or just throw Szego in from game week 1 next season but currently I'm leaning towards the latter. The most unconventional route to the key players section is undoubtedly the path trodden by Erdey, who despite being here for five seasons didn't make a single appearance in the first four as he was sat in our hidden B team. I located him after Borbas left us for free (and got relegated) by checking our strongest players in that position, and although his attributes are modest at best 11 goals from the left wing is a fine return for a player in his debut professional season. Youth Intake I'm quite happy with this intake even though it only produced three elite talents, our lowest amount so far. What makes it more promising than previous intakes is that two of the elites have a fairly professional personality and are already developing faster than any of our other youngsters not getting regular first team minutes. Bakos looks the pick and although we're stacked at centre half our best defender Nagy 02-Elite has decided he's too good for the club after one season of regular football and wants to leave for a bigger club (like the last two who now play in the second division!) Bucs comes in as our 4th elite left back in 3 seasons but I'm hoping we can develop him a little better than some of the others. Transfers Borbas left us at the end of his contract to pursue a higher standard of football only to sign for the club who finished dead last and got relegated. He'll be joining Urbantsok as the second player to leave for better things only to end up plying their trade in a lower division. As more younger players turn pro we really need to get them out on loan as they're stagnating without an active U19s team. Next Season More consolidation on the menu as I continue the changing of the guard from our original players to academy graduates. I'd be happy with a mid table finish again and intend to have a go at trying to win the cup even if that is unlikely. There is a lot of potential in the youngsters I have but without any competitive age group football the only way I can really bring them on is by playing them and accepting a few mediocre seasons until they improve beyond our original players. We now have a total of 4 graduates playing in the Hungarian national teams though no-one in the senior squad yet where most players are based abroad. Nagy 02 is in the U21s, Tasi 03 is with the U19s whilst Gyepes 03 & Szucs 03 are now part of the U18s and will both be pushing to start in our first team next season.

Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - State of the Squad Season 12 I have been adjusting the specific roles a lot from game to game, as well as some of the instructions, but our 4-3-3 shape has stayed the same for the most part. GKs: Lauritzen 10c will start this year, but possibly rotate time with Nyegaard 09d. Both have potential and both have shown signs of development. Lauritzen 10c has developed faster, which is why he's the starter, but I'd be foolish not to give both game time so we have options in case one eventually forces his way out to a better team. Spoiler DRs: We're so weak at this position that our choices are either the backup DL in Bredel 09h, the not-so-great 16 year-old from last intake in De Biase 11f, or the winger retrained as a fullback in Krogh 10e. He can't tackle or play much defense, but we're so deep in the attacking areas and so weak here, it makes sense to give Krogh 10e a chance to develop and play every day if he can learn the position and put in some decent performances. Spoiler DLs: We're even weaker on the left with either the aforementioned Bredel 09h or the longest-tenured first team player still at the club in Montell 04f. Neither are great options and it's a reason why we struggle to compete in the league, our defense is very shaky still. Spoiler DCs: It gets slightly better, but not much, in the center slot. We don't have a player much taller than 6'0" here, and they're all pretty much equally poor. Ronnow 10d and Nedergaard 11d will start since they seem to have the most potential, but Syndergaard 10f and Green 09i will get chances to impress as rotation options. Spoiler DMs: Our midfield has lost a lot of its strength in recent years with players refusing to commit their futures to the club. Right now, at the DM spot, Strudal 09c is our starter, but he seems to have hit his ceiling and not developed in the second half of last season. Mouritsen 08f will back him up, but he hasn't developed at all really during his time at the club. Spoiler CMs: In the two CM slots, we don't have much depth or talent at all. Ejsing 08c is the best here, but hasn't developed well lately. He's also not physically suited to the what we ask out of our midfielders. Risum 10j needs to kick on his development, but I have hope that an extended spell in the first team will provide a boost. Given the lack of depth here and the glut of talent in the attacking areas, I will be retraining Brandt 11e as a CM. Spoiler AMLs: The strength of our team is at the AML position. Holm 10b is a top player based on CA at the club, and developed very nicely last season with lots of first team opportunities. Hjulmand 11a is the top prospect from last year's intake and will get time off the bench to impress, whether that's on the left or the right. Spoiler The AMR position is almost as strong. Hagedorn 10a is a star and Knudsen 11b is a solid option off the bench. Spoiler We have only one ST slot for three players needing first team action, which is less than ideal. Eg 08b and Andersen 08g are the first two options. They both didn't develop as much as IU had hoped last year, so they will have to kick things on this season or risk being overtaken by Wurtz 11c, who has looked promising in the preseason fixtures. Spoiler The depth chart in the attacking positions in particular will change at the end of the year based on which of the players in last year's intake develop the best. Those are Hjuland 11a and Knudsen 11b on the wings. Wurtz 11c up top and Brandt 11e in the midfield. Nedergaard 11d could not improve at all and still be a starter since we have no defenders. As an extra part, let's look at our other products who have moved to bigger clubs. We sold Aaquist 07a to Porto for $2M plus a 50% clause a few years ago. We sold Gerits 08e also to Porto for just a 50% clause last winter. Sondergaard 08a left us on a free a year and a half ago and has since signed for Milan. And Tonsberg Spelmann 09a left just this summer for $9M plus 50% to Dortmund. Safe to say our team would be a whole lot better with these four still in it. Especially the defense.
