Popular Post DrJones
Grosseto 2028/29 First season in serie B went quite well. We had a play-off spot to serie A the whole season but lost it on the last day. I'm not too sad about that though, we aren't ready for serie A yet and the players are developing great in this division. Squad The whole starting XI are youngsters now and if I could hold on to all the players in the squad that I have now we would be in serie A pretty soon. The big problem is our finances and that the board wants to sell everything that has two legs... Key players Youth Intake History I don't know why the Grosseto under 20s is showing up, must be a bug or something...
Popular Post polesetter1
Stomil Olsztyn | 2023-24 Season Report | Fortuna 1. Liga WE'VE SURVIVED!!! We've done it! After making some changes to our tactical style, our performance improved significantly, even if amount of scored points per game was similar, we were able to beat our opponents in terms of xG in 12 games out of 14! I've changed the roles of our central defenders and took much more aggressive approach in pressing. I was afraid of that, as our defenders are really slow and it caused us some problems, but amount of good chances for our opponents hasn't increased. We also haven't conceded a single penalty in second round! (In the first round we were conceding 0,35 per game) Higher pressing allowed us to score some goals from the breaks, especially Bartosz Florek scored 3 or 4 goals that way. We've also got two elite talents during our youth intake, so I can be finally a little optimistic! Also, after 20 requests, the first one was accepted! We'll have our youth facilities improved! I'll be still fighting for better youth coaching and recruitment. Schedule Spoiler League Table Spoiler BTW, journalists kept telling us, that 35 points will ensure survival! To be honest, you rarely see the league when almost all teams score above point per game. Player Stats Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Youth Intake Spoiler Next Season Our boards wants us to avoid relegation once again. I think that, playing the way we did in the second round, we have everything to establish ourselves as mid-table 1.Liga team. I'll try to give more chances to players who can still develop, as I haven't seen much of progress from anyone except Jakub Banul. We will try hard to keep Mateusz Drabiszczak in the team, but he has only 1 year of contract and Ekstraklasa teams approach him. If we fail to sign new contract, I'll have to sell him towards the end of summer transfer window, with Next Transfer Profit clause. Our long-term goal is to get promoted to Ekstraklasa and stay there. We have few players, who could develop to Ekstraklasa-level and I consider them as a core of the team. GK - Konrad Syldatk, he's already very solid goalkeeper for 1.Liga who could still develop. DR - Karol Żwir - already on the level of bottom Ekstraklasa teams, in my opinion. Could also play on DC or DM. He'd be enough for keeping us in Ekstraklasa, but won't develop anymore. DC - Dariusz Lubas Y001A - still a big if, but may have potential to be somewhere between top 1. Liga player or decent Ekstraklasa player. Based on the stars, at least. We have to wait and see. DC - none DL - Mateusz Jońca - very solid wing-back. He's only 23 and I think that he could develop to decent Ekstraklasa player. DM - Mateusz Drabiszczak - he already drags interest of few Ekstraklasa sides, so surely he has the sufficient potential. DM - Tecław / Dowgiałło / Philipkowski - players with some potential, but will it be enough for Ekstraklasa level? I'm not sure. AML - Jakub Banul - he's 19 and already looking good in 1. Liga, so I think he'll be enough for Ekstraklasa in the future. AMC - Szypulski / Niewiadomski / Żukowski - Szypulski doesn't look like Ekstraklasa player but he performed really good early in the season. Niewiadomski and Żukowski have some potential, but the same case as with seond DM position. AMR - Filip Wójcik - he's 23 and solid for 1. Liga. He's still has some time to develop, so I think he's potential for Ekstraklasa-standard player. ST - Bartosz Florek - he's 19 and had great second round in the team. He might be our future star. If not, there is Romachów Y001B who might develop to a decent player. As you can see, there are still some gaps to fill if we want to become Ekstraklasa side. I hope that the next youth intakes will be generous in terms of central positions. I don't think our facilities upgrade will affect the next intake, but it should get better over time. Weed07
Crewe United - Season One 23/24 Premier Intermediate League Season Summary Starting at Crewe United in Northern Ireland was a pleasant experience compared to starting in England as we had 38 players at the club, a lot of them we old but some looked really good for the league so i offered everyone non contract terms to ensure we had a chance for them to stay as i know the first season the challenge can be hard if you don't have a lot of players. We did lose 9 players during pre-season to other clubs but none of them were the important players i wanted to keep. The season preview predicted us to finish 5th with odds of 7/2 to win the league and with the squad we had i expected to be challenging for the title. We started off the season with a win going top of the table and thats how it stayed until the end as we never moved from top place and comfortably won the league gaining promotion. we didn't lose our first league game until mid December and only lost 3 league games in total. We also had a good cup run in the Northern Irish cup getting to the semi final, we were lucky with drawing teams either in our league or non league then got thumped 5-1 in the semi against the first top division side we played. I tried a tactic i don't usually do going for a direct counter attack approach and created my own version and it seem to work really well in this league, i figured due to the low quality of players hoofing it forward as quick as possible might lead to a few goals and thats what happened as we finished with 73 goals in 27 games. The Tactic: Spoiler The league table: Spoiler The youth preview was a good one, although no defensive midfielders were predicted which was a worry as we play with 2 of them: Spoiler The actual intake was a good one with 2 players looking ready for the first team and went straight into the side for the remaining 5 games: Spoiler Ryan Burrows - A nice fast winger Aiden Gray - A centre back that comes in as our second best defender and looks like he could develop well and be a future team captain: Kris Wilson - This striker also looks promising and will be starting next season as our 3rd choice striker, i'd like him to be faster but his stats are comparable with our 33 year old striker that scored 30 goals so he could also be able to score plenty in NI even without the speed i would like. Overall i was happy with the youth players, 2 definite starters, a striker that could become a starter and there are also several that will make good squad players next year. The board wouldn't agree to upgrade any facilities, the junior coaching isn't too bad but the rest is rubbish. The board did allow me to undertake my first coaching badge which was good. My manager stats: Spoiler Heres some spreadsheet data for the club, competitions and manager: Spoiler Club: Season: Manager: Next Season we will be able to offer part time contracts rather than just non contract terms so I will be hoping to tie down all the original players i want to keep as i think most of those will be good enough for the Championship and along with the new youth players i'm hoping for another good season and aim for back to back promotions which i think is doable as the bottom couple of NI Leagues don't have the best quality players, our biggest hurdles will come in the top division. Popular Post JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2045/46 Review (s24) There's not a lot happening in this save at the moment so I am not going to share many screenshots/details for the time being. Ill probably just stick to the summary tables until we get to a point where we can actually compete with the better teams in Europe. For the past decade we have managed to qualify for the Champions League group stage but have only managed to get out of the group on one occasion. That was due to a couple of lucky results, so there is no chance of any real success in Europe without improvements in the youth players we're producing and the ability of hold on to more of them. I am still really enjoying the save so will stick with it for a while longer, though the pull of Gibraltar is getting stronger! Good luck all.

Popular Post Sn00gle
Kotwica Kołobrzeg - 2032/33 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers Would say very wierd season. Of course in Conference League we manage to reach Quarter Final where we lost with Crvena after crazy matches. However we sacrefice this with lose of a lot of league points vs lower teams in league which actually bringed me almost in relegation zone with only 5 points safty. However we got nice run in second half of season where we reached finally 7th place in league but to far to play in Europe after decent 3 years. Lucky for us we manage to beat Pogoń in semi final of Polish Cup and after extra time we managed to beat Widzew 2-0 so we gona play in European League next season. 10th year anniversary is completed with second trophy for my u19 which actually first time won the league. My facilities reached state of art so real game starts from here. I loaned a lot of young players to get some skill improvment for them so my squad wil be much bigger in next season and maybe will allow me to rotate squad more. I have problem with my GK Bobowski 01a (report) hes stats are not bad but he is unperforming and can't handle important games which we got a lot right now. I don't know what to do with him as I have no second GK near hes stats. Anyway Marcin is club legend for sure even if its not official in club info tab My feeder clubs and nice Europe performence started to work. We got on Finish top prospect Mr. Helander and nice striker Mr. Rymar. We have second foreign player as well. I think if he will choose hes african NT he might be their legend. . You spend a season getting them up to speed hoping their understudies can get a loan deal the season after then the big teams come sniffing and either poaching them for min fee or just unsettling them. This repeats season after season so you rarely get players over 20 in your starting line-up Edited January 5, 2023 by Neo_Geo

CameronFM
I figured it would be worthwhile to join in, better late than never! Commitment to something as long and stressful as England wasn't forming part of my plans to begin with. Denmark was debated, but with a long-term save on the go already, I figured it would be best to start light. So it is off to Hungary I go! Manager Profile Set up Squad Facilities Finances Vision Perhaps on the more easier side of the scale, I'm looking forward to unleashing Hungarian talent upon Europe and try to take over. Once we dominate Hungary of course... Balázs Németh was signed on a pre-contract prior to me taking over the job, so it was not a signing I could cancel - I assume that he is eligible to be used throughout the domestic campaign?
Popular Post officiallydeej
SG Sacavenense - 2024/25 3 Liga - North Group I had a feeling we would do well at this level and so it proved. Olhanese and ourselves were the two standout teams all season and we ended up comfortably in the top 4 for a spot in the promotion playoffs. The league it split into two groups and on the face of it we seemed to come out of this badly with Olhanense, Belenenses, Vilafranquense, Belenenses SAD plus the Sporting B team looking a much tougher proposition than the southern group. Luckily we were even better than I realised and with only 3 defeats (2 to Olhanense) we marched on to the playoffs.. The promotion playoff group was a tale of two halves. We won all of our first three games to race onto 9 points, 5 clear of second placed Trofense and only one win from promotion. I gave the lads a 'no pressure' team meeting before the fourth game and they decided to fall apart and lose all three without scoring a goal. Nice recommendation from the assistant there. I thought the season was over but the qualification screens in this league seem a bit odd, and unbeknown to me we went into a playoff against Vilafranquense, who despite a disappointing league campaign came alive in the playoffs to finish second in the other group... A 2-0 win in the home leg meant a 2-2 draw away was enough to see us through. I had this time spotted that this was a semi final, with a final against second tier side Amora at last all that stood between us and a second successive promotion. They'd had a poor season and despite finishing third from bottom only managed 22 points in 34 games whilst 7 of the 11 starting their previous league game being loan players gave me hope they wouldn't be up for the fight... Heartbreak at the final hurdle. Despite dominating both games a combination of fatigue and injuries meant Amora's armada of loan players had just enough to hold us off and consign us to at least one more season in the third tier. We threw the kitchen sink at them in the second leg, registering 23 shots to their 5 but couldn't find a way through. In spite of the disappointing finish however this has been a very successful first campaign at this level and one I'll definitely be looking to build on next time around. Taca de Portugal - We went out in the third around, losing 2-1 at home to top tier side Arouca. Player Statistics & Key Players Senica was the beating heart of our midfield, averaging 7.05 despite picking up a mightily impressive 13 bookings in 26 games. He was injured for our playoff final and I think it's probably a case of what could have been had he been fit to play. He's good enough to play in the league above so I'm relieved there doesn't yet seem to be any interest in him. Oliveira is one of those strange players where every single one of his attributes is between 7 & 12 (I have a few player like this, who does the scouting for SI here?!) so whilst he doesn't excel at anything he is incredibly consistent. He managed 13 assists in 27 games from right wing back, often outlasting his opponents and becoming more dangerous as games went on. Youth Intake Wow. Sometimes at this level you take seven 5* potential players with a pinch of salt but not on this occasion. This intake is better than anything I ever got in Hungary and if I can keep hold of these players will give me a real chance to kick this save forward into the upper echelons of Portuguese football. Laureano is already our second best wing back behind Oliveira and impressed in the playoffs in his absence. Despite his questionable judgment my assistant manager thinks he can be a top division player and I have to agree. Madrigal is a fast and tricky Colombian who is already developing nicely with 5 goals and 4 assists in 12 U19 games at the end of the season. He's got more traffic in front of him but I'll be keeping a sharp eye on him. Next Season I am expecting another promotion challenge and our younger players are developing at a fast rate so we should come back even stronger. Porto B are one of the sides coming down and although you can never predict the strength of reserve teams they only managed 9 points all season so you'd hope we can take them on. I haven't had any interest in my players yet and I'm hoping it stays that way but if we don't get promoted again next season you'd imagine it will only be a matter of time. The one problem we have is finances, we are over £1m in the red due to our facilities and that shows no sign of slowing down. Our U19s won a second successive promotion (the U19s leagues in Portugal are set out very well with promotion and relegation) and will be playing in the top tier of U19s football next season mixing it with the giants of Porto, Benfica and Sporting. This can only be good for our youth development and I think I'm inclined to keep my top prospects around rather than loan them to largely semi pro tier 4 teams with poor facilities.
LazyBandit
Eskilstuna City FK Season 2 (2024) Squad The first team squad is mostly the same as last year. We had a few departures, but no important players. League Table We had a pretty solid first year in the 3rd division. We got off to a hot start, even being as high 1st in the table by match week 12. We then followed that up with a cold streak, dropping as low as 9th. Overall the league was pretty closely fought, with only 6 points separating 1st from 8th for most of the season. If you were to chart our rising and dropping in the table, it would look like a mountain range. I'm pretty happy with 6th, and with our intake coming up hopefully we can continue to build upon this. Youth Intake We got some more squad depth with this intake. I was hoping for a little more talent to complement the real players in the team, but I'm not too upset with this. I have asked multiple times, but the board refuses to allow expanding our recruitment beyond Eskilstuna. Thanks to our good form earlier in the season, they did however agree to increase the level of our junior coaching, so hopefully that starts paying off soon. We added 2 new countries in this year's intake Countries: 6/227 (2.64%) Season Review
Popular Post the_hdk
The return of Oli! Polonia Warszawa - The Black Shirts Season 23/24 (1st) - 1. Liga Transfers / Players I remembered that I started a save as Oli so I wanted to see how the season will go and if this year I could manage to finish the challange with Polonia (last 2 years I stopped after 10 seasons or so). Well first year was great. Quite easy championship. We are losing money though, more so than last FMs. The core of our team is also quite old, and already tow of 1st 11 players decided to retire. We do not really have replacements ready so 1st seaosn in Ekstarklasa will be difficult. I also made a mistake of selling all backup goalkeepers...so my goaly really cannot get injured next year. Or sold. Bam direct promotion! HoYd Great Hoyd....sadly he decided to retire after one season so we will have to search for a new one. Pawlowski class of '24. We start off with five elite prospects! :D. Great begin. Also love the international player. (Our Chairman/Owner is french so I guess that is the reason). If Michal is a bit as good as Kuba we will have a brilliant player here. His still are not that great though so we will see. MAHE is French/Cameroonian. Amazing pace and speed. His lack of ambition and low work rate do worry me. Stamina ais also bad. He needs alot to improve.

Popular Post Redknapp_13
Long time no update and I forgot to post one season, so just a short one for this season and then the one, where I actually am in my save a bit more detailed Hapoel Ra'anana Season Review Season 36/37 League - Champions League - Squad - Transfers - Finances A very dominant season in the domestic league, finishing with 80 points, which is the highest ever. Never in danger to not get the league title and we also once again won the cup. The most important is still the Champions League and there we did not even make the Playoff Round after just winning two games in the League Phase. We kept our squad together, only selling the legend Lior Gennish 25B after he failed to make the first elevn very often. The two best players are still Salami-Vaddai and Leidner. Both have one year left on their contract and I wont sell them, since we have no problem financially. But we will loose them, but trying for a last Champions League push. Intake 37 Not sure whats excellent about this preview Yeah and the intake looks a bit meh, only Ovadia who looks decent So this review a bit more in detail Hapoel Ra'anana Season Preview Season 37/38 League - Champions League - Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers League An even better year than the last. Easily winning the league and every cup possible with pure dominance. This was by far the best squad we ever had so we could rotate in the league and play the strongest squad in the Champions League. Not much else to say. We are the best team in Israel by far and even tho, we will loose our best players, I dont think this will change. Champions League Also our best Champions League campaign, loosing in the Quarterfinal to Liverpool in rather heartbreaking fashion. We won at home and I had hope but then we lost by 2 goals at Anfield. Key Players Last season with Salami-Vaddai 32A and Leidner 33A. The two best intake products we have ever had and they will both join Manchester United, alongside Herzel Zikri, who they signed for his release clause. Besides them it was Harel Lax 34A, scoring 47 goals in his first season as our starting striker Besides them we managed to keep Landau 32C, Levi 34B, Levi 33B and Lomovski 32B Transfers As I said we loose our two best players in Salami-Vaddai and Nas Leidner, which is pretty sad but nothing I could do Intake 38 New HoYD but looked like a bad intake Wasnt that bad in the end, with three players I am excited for Winning the Champions League is unrealistic for the moment, so I try growing the reputation and keep my players We have been able to get a youth facilities upgrade and also some nice affiliations
Popular Post Neo_Geo
Season Review Cracking first season with a semi final appearance (and much needed prize money) as well as automatic promotion as champions in an unbeaten league campaign (just as well as we were 1-25 for the league with both board and fans expecting to go up) The intake promises a lot but as with the Malta save in FM 22 I know that it's often way off the mark because current and potential abilities are so low at this level of football. Whether many (or even any) make the grade it at least means I have options instead of playing asymmetrical formations or playing "grey" players (which luckily I didn't have to do that often in season 1). We lost 4 players last season with one of them being a fairly regular player so I just need to keep doing what I can to try and hold enough of the original players and hope to reach the cup final (we just about broke even with the semi final appearance but its £21k to the winner of the semi final so it would have meant a small profit as well as winning the cup resulting in the second qualification place for continental football). The money is very tight as you'd expect so I was only able to get one coaching badge and junior coaching increase. Media prediction this season in the top tier has us at 50-1 to finish 5th which is higher than I thought it would be but we did beat a Liga Puerto Rico side on the way to the semi final last year and we took undoubtedly the biggest team in the country, Bayamon (who are the only professional side), to extra time where our fitness and squad depth meant we collapsed and shipped 3 goals in extra time. Really nice change of pace to Europe, with less than 30 games a season until continental football is achieved.
JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 9 - Preview Despite our two league titles in the last three seasons, we are still only expected to finish in 13th place in the league. It's still progress that we're no longer expected to finish bottom, but it is still rather frustrating. Still, we start the season with state of the art training facilities at the beginning of the season for the first time, so I am hoping that our young talent will massively benefit from having the best facilities possible. Our best player at the club is Marek Sawicki, he's become one of those players that I want to make sure we keep at the club for the long-term. I feel like he could lead the team to glory in the future. Robert Kowalski is our record goalscorer and easily our best striker at the club. I believe he will be the first player to score over 100 goals for the club, and I want him to be getting over 200-300 goals for us long-term. Surprisingly, Marcel Złomańczuk is still our 3rd best player. Mostly because Mateusz Szulc and Mariusz Dąbrowski aren't at the club anymore. I would be shocked if he's still our 3rd best player by the end of the season with all of the talent coming through. If you guys wants to have a better look at the entire squad that I plan on using in the league this season, I have linked the video where I have gone over all of the players at the beginning of the 8th season. It is over 19 minutes long, but I tried to go over as many players as I could. I made a lot of signings in the backroom staff variety as well. Popular Post Vlach
Season 2026/27 The first half of the season went very well - we stayed in the middle of the league, with quite a comfortable distance to the relegation places. During the winter break happened what had to happen: our goalkeeper Salah left us for Panathinaikos - at least i will get 50% of the next sale. I just hoped that our good first half will be enough to secure remaining in the Serie A this year, and at the same time giving our young goalkeepers match experience so that they may progress faster now that we need them to step up. and that worked out in the end. We for sure lost quality in goalkeeping, but its not extremly bad. In the end we survived quite onfortably on the 14th place. More and more original players are retiring now, next season probably half the spots will be taken already by the youngsters. We will see how that turns out. League Lineup Supporters Finances Transfers Overview Youth Intake Very good intake with 5 elite talents. Happy as well that there are some strikers and fullbacks, which I will need soon most probably. Signed as usual those with highest talent and good / ok personality
shirajzl
How do you approach players with bad personalities? Obviously you want to mentor them, but it can't be done before you move them to the first team, i.e. when they're 18 or so. By "can't be done" I mean if you keep a 16yo in the first team for mentoring purposes, he doesn't train with the youth team, which is the most important at that age. If you keep said 16yo in the youth team, you can't mentor him and he won't develop as well until he reaches 18.
Popular Post Ray46
Update 10; Season 9; 2031/2032 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. We started expanding our new stadium right away. We are also upgrading the training facilities, but I forgot the screenshot. Andorra made a 4M offer which I negotiated to 15M. We settled on 12M. Arumi is clearly our best striker at 4.5*, Pluvins potential and current was 3*. I have promoted Gonzales who is 2.5* with 4-5* potential. So it was time for Pluvins to move on. Best player of the 26 generation. Wonderkid News!!!!! Villareal offered for Antoni. I rejected it, but I also saw that the media now regards him as a wonderkid. Our first one: A few months later my star striker is labelled a wonderkid as well: A few weeks after that Aureli our complete wingback followed: Marcal Followed; That makes 4 wonderkids from the 2028 intake, what a generation: Agboola is from 2029, but is a Wonderkid as well; Exceptional Youth Recruitment in Spain and in a big city like Barcelona. Quite a good combination for wonderkids. Close to Christmas this happened, LOL: Of course I declined the offers. I had another landmark to celebrate. A lot of youth caps for our guys. Only Senior Caps for Guinea Bisseau, Finland and Bulgaria. Intake looked great: And it was really good, 7 elites: Antoni Catalayud; Star of the show. He is as good as one of my two starters already, but much more suited as sweeper keeper. He will go into the rotation right away. Darlington Sanusi is a two footed advanced forward, Spanish/Nigerian Sant Andreu supporter with the best name in the intake. Alexandru Hristian; I have an affiliate in Romania, so it’s nice to see a player coming through. A decent all round midfielder, who takes a good free kick. Alfred Yeto; A DM, but he has all the attributes for a Ball Playing Defender. Unambitious, so we will have to see how he devellops. Robert Marimon; A DC with lot’s of promise, but Casual personality will devellop. Will need lot’s of Mentoring. Jofre Julve: A complete wingback for the right side. We have plenty of good players in our academy for his position. We will see. Alfred Planaguma; Ball playing defender. Half a star less potential than the others have and not the tallest player we have. But he makes up for it being two footed and a perfectionist. So he will probably develop well, either as a ball playing defender or as a midfielder. These are all the players that were signed: We lost the Copa del Rey final again, Real Madrid looks unbeatable. Because we lost last year's final to Real Madrid, who won the Liga, we could participate in the Supercopa. We beat Barca on penalties in the semi’s and Villarreal in the final. A first minor trophy. Our first season in Europe went fantastic, we only lost one game to Juventus. The final was a thriller. Athletic equalised in the final second with nine men, but we won on penalties. The group round was full of easy wins and even in the knock out stages we never looked in trouble. Sicart was young player of the season: Also our defence was in the squad of the season: In the league we also did well and qualified for the Champions League. That will be a lot tougher. We are still way off the likes of Real, City, Bayern or PSG. Our defenders and GK have improved a lot. We only conceded 34. Two seasons ago we conceded 89 goals. I think we are two defenders, a midfielder and a few more years of improving for challenging the top teams. The season review: Transfers: Improvements commercially: Team of the season: Arumi with 29 goals set a new record, but the 15 clean sheets by Alonso make me even happier. We gained lot’s of new supporters: The board expects a mid table finish next season, the squad is getting stronger. More plans: The U19’s are National champs again. The two top performers are ready for the first team. They are almost as good as the players who start, but it looks like they will develop better. Probably I’m going to accept some offers for really good performing players. It hurts a little, but I think it’s the only way forward. I hope we can keep the wonderkids. Most of them have signed new contracts with the max 548M release clause. Sometimes if they really want to leave you can’t sacrifice the team spirit, but I hope we can keep them now we play CL.
polesetter1
I've just started my second season. I've lost 3 of my key players... and I'm suddenly dominating the league! I think that the team cohesion impact may be overrated in this FM. I know it's early into the season but I'm sharing this moment, as it's historical for Stomil Olsztyn in my save. Brentmeister
Question: A team I'd like to give this a go with, are owned by a club in the above division. We're not affiliates or a B team, they just own us. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems down the line before I get too invested? Thanks in advance. x
CameronFM
Szolnoki MÁV FC Season 2023/24 League | Cup | Squad | Transfers* | Finances *Balázs Németh transfer was a pre-contract organised prior to me taking over the job. A season of adapting to the league, and then filled with highs and lows throughout as we safely secured our place for next season. Predicted to finish 13th, it was never really in doubt, but it was good to leave a big enough gap between ourselves and the relegation play-offs. We were rocking it at the top of the league at the early stages of the season. Our cup run started and finished in the Third Round following a narrow 1-0 defeat to top-flight side Paksi. Our first youth-intake arrived giving me a chance to look, prep and plan for the future generations as to how I want this team to look and play on the park. Youth Intake 2024 My initial attraction to the intake was the wingers and central midfielder. We only really have one good winger at the club on the right through Bálint Tömösvári, so if we can get talent on the left to double up with him that would be a bonus. In the middle of the park, we have quality, but it is aging quality. Mario Alfredo Pinto was promoted from the U19s to assist with league rules as we must have an U20 in the starting 11, but he is some way off being a quality Hungarian midfielder. We could do with a bit more depth in defence; the current options should do for the next year or two meaning we have time to bring some through. Our goalkeeper situation is in the safe hands of Zsolt Bánhegyi, who is due to return to the club at the end of the season. Spoiler Ádám Pintér is classed as the best of the class, with Mihály Szileszki, György Reznek and Adrián Schimmer not too far behind. All four have work to do, but with a push in the right direction, they may just become something useful for the club. Sadly no facilities upgrades for us this season, although the studying has started for me through coaching badges. Small progress, but the rewards will certainly be worth it.
officiallydeej
We did it! This season was a reverse of our last at this tier with us starting very slowly and getting stronger towards the end as our young players improved. We went into the last day of the regular season in 5th place and only crept into the promotion playoffs by stealing a 1-0 win at Caldas and getting lucky with Sporting B slip up. From there on we seemed to get better and better and managed to win our playoff group with a final win against Canelas. The real turning point was game 4, we were in 2nd place having just lost at home to B-SAD and facing the extra playoffs again. Somehow we managed to go to B-SAD and batter them 4-0, putting us top with 2 games to go. We then lost 1-0 at Braga B to put it back in 2nd, but they did us a favour in game 6 beating B-SAD whilst we beat Canelas 5-3 to secure what had all season looked an unlikely promotion. We are in financial trouble and I have no idea whether or not it will level out in the second tier. We still haven't had any interest in our players but that can surely only be a matter of time as we now have one or two very good players for this level. Player Stats & Top Prospects Although we are still using a strong core of our original players our academy graduates are slowly becoming regular starters. Roicado 25e is easily the best of these and is also now ranked our 3rd best player overall. It isn't reflecting in his performances yet which are still wildly inconsistent but he did get stronger and began to stand out in the playoffs, further expediting his progress. Garizo 24a has been in the first team longer than any of my other graduates and although not as good as Roicado is more established and our strongest right winger. 2 goals and 5 assists isn't the best return but he also got stronger as the season came to a close. Youth Intake - This was poor. Really poor. So poor in fact that I forgot to screenshot it! For the first time ever this early in a challenge I didn't sign anyone from this intake. Transfers & Next Season Only one departure and not one I am concerned about. Although a regular in our first season Lopez had been overtaken and was well down the forward pecking order so I was happy to let him leave when he came asking. In terms of next season I have no idea if we will be able to survive in the second tier but only two automatic relegation places coupled with our rapid player development gives me reason to be hopeful. It's also good to see both of last season's promoted sides survived, one of which Beira-Mar started as an unplayable 5th tier side and just finished 8th in the 2nd tier! The 2nd division has a single league of 18 teams and looking at some of the top sides I would expect us to be battling at the bottom end.
Popular Post the_hdk
Polonia Warsaw - The Black Shirts Season 24/25 (2nd) - Ekstraklasa Transfers / Players First season in Ekstraklasa went quite well. A left side finish is quite great. Legia sadly with another championship. We had a great start to the season but struggeled heavely in december due to injuries. Thankfully the season resumes in february so we had time to heal and recover. I added the kits, more or less what they have in real life. Made them myself so don't be too harsh on me :). Our former captain PIATEK retired and was replaced as captain by our #1 goaly BRUDNICKI. ROGUSKI joined the first team, fought into first 11 and stayed there. He might even be our best midfielder at the moment. Enourmous progress in a season. RADZINSKI aslo got into first 11 in the attack but failes to impress and will porbably be replaced by one of the regens from last year. Liverpool and KLOPP with back to back CL wins. This year they beat Arsenal coached by VIERA in the final. SALAH with Balon d'Or is a nice change in pace. Paraguay winning the Copa and Monaco winning French title are the big surprises. Our new HOYD BOCHENSKI. Model Citizen is great. Skills less so. I see him as a bridge HOYD untill we can build up rep and get a truly great HOYD. BOCHENSKI Class of '25 starts off great. Six Elite talents is amazing. Less so that we get so many strikers yet again. A bit overkill. No foreign intake this year. MARKUT seems to be one of the better talents this year. Love his aggression and teamwork. Work rate and determination are decent. Not bad...could be great. CHOJCZAK is for me the bigget talent of the class, especially as he is a Perfectionist. Amazing determination. Great finishing already. Within two seasons he will be one of our main strikers.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Stuck in a rut! I'll keep it short (ish) Players I went 4-3-1-2 just to get Ramadan 45A into his preferred position. He did ok:- Problem is in 30 seasons I've only managed to produce one player who has been valued at over £20m. It's hard to compete against Juve, the Milans, Napoli with a squad full of them. Not sure what's stopping us getting those better players through. Luck maybe? Club rep? Youth facilities? maybe a bit of all 3? Wonderkids Another two in the top 50. Sadly none have gone on to develop into actual wonderkids yet for some reason Youth Looks promising. I was most impressed with the range of nationalities though. A Not only a US player, but a Nicaraguan as well! Finances and Upgrades Now this is annoying. THEN GIVE ME THE OPTION TO IMPROVE THE YOUTH FACILITIES!!!!!!! The final loss to Radnick was due to rotating as we had already guaranteed a top 8 position. Spoiler For round of 16 we got assigned Valencia and our old man striker Fabio Algarvio 11a had the pair of games of his career scoring 4 goals single handedly giving us the 4-1 win. Unfortunately, he couldn't repeat the feat against Arsenal where we went 0-0 at home and almost made it to ET in England giving up an 88' goal to lose 1-0 Spoiler And guess who ended up winning it all? Nice to see we did get the "Biggest Overachievers" and my striker was the best in the competition with his 13 goals. Spoiler Cup We recovered the Cup! That Swift game was insane winning 6-4 and in the final it actually came down to penalties against an up-and-coming Jeunesse Esch. Spoiler League Very tight but we ended up pulling out the victory in the end. You'll notice lots of draws for us, which has been the rotational struggle combined with the continued increase in strength of the lower teams. Spoiler Transfers We ended up letting go our 33 year old CB at the end of the season who was our 3rd CB but was beginning to physically deteriorate and a Quatari club offered 750k so will let some of our younger prospects get more game time next year Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Lots of promise Spoiler Youth Intake Bad personalities, but actually some potential for once! Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler Great CA, Great PA. He just needs some serious mentorship to fix his DET / Personality / MH. We also have an eitherfooted Left Winger And a Right Winger As well as a DLF. Best XI Spoiler They actually have one of my strikers down as a playmaker. Though he played there in the past he is much better up front as a False Nine Youth Products Highlights G Almeida 25a is probably the best looking of our 17-19 year olds, but frustratingly he keeps increasing and decreasing his attributes so he isn't improving like he should be especially on his technical ability. We then have 2 Strikers one of which is Professional and developing well but sadly is slow. The other, while relatively quick at 15 has had major injury problems so hardly played this year, but hopefully next year he can become more impactful. The Fourth prospective player is a LM/CM who I'm also training as a striker due to his speed. With only 5 subs on the bench he will be a great utility sub. Spoiler Club Infrastructure No changes except for we have gotten the bump to 3* Reputation with our additional titles this year. We really need a new stadium as it only allows 8800 for European matches and we constantly sell it out as well as close to selling it out for domestic matches. Hopefully the reputation bump will help convince the board Spoiler Luxembourg With our run to the QF and Titus Petange making the Europa Group stage we have seen a return to 19th for the BGL Ligue as well as we have officially overtaken Swift Hesperange in European ranking due to their failure in Europe this season. The LUX league is on par with the 2nd division for 3 of the top 5 nations, which I consider a huge success especially with 2 of those nations playable. The best part is with our success LUX has regained it 2nd Champions League slot. TV Rights are up to USD 6.23M, a new high. Spoiler Thoughts Excel Season 1 - 15 Excel Season 16 - 28 Our best performance in Europe combined with a healthy crop of players will help as we continue to transition from the original Golden Generation to our new up and coming stars. I've been more busy recently so the speed of play has slowed down, but I plan to keep sticking with this save rather than start a new one as long as I can get decent intakes. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary A successful first season at this level eventually finishing 4 points above the relegation playoff. We struggled at the start end end of the season, winning only 1 of our first and last 7 respectively. 7 wins in the 20 games sandwiched in between saw us mid table for the most part and with enough breathing room to cover the end of season drop off. The Expected Points table actually had us way up in 6th giving me hope that as our players mature and become more consistent there is potential for us to climb the table in coming seasons. We entered the Allianz Cup for the first time this season which is the Portuguese League Cup, winning our first two games against Amadora and top division side Nacional before being put into a group with Braga, Leiria and Boavista in the third phase. Although we finished bottom we did manage a decent 1-1 draw away at Boavista and certainly didn't disgrace ourselves. In the Taca de Portugal we beat a non-league side away before falling to 3 Liga side Lusitano Evora for the fourth season in a row. Top Prospects Now easily the best player at the club, Roicado 25e came to me half way through the season telling me he was too good and wanted to leave. This was the same problem I experienced in Hungary but luckily this time I'm more prepared for it. I told him he could leave if anyone offered £2.5m for him as he asked, though no-one has been interested in him yet so hopefully that won't be for a while. He also has 5 (2+3) years left on his contract so if he does go it'll be on my (or at least the chairman's) terms. Our other centre half Lamelas 25d broke into the team mid season due to injury and his development has skyrocketed ever since. I'd like his tackling to be a little bit higher but our defence as a whole was a lot stronger this year for having these two in it. Our third strongest prospect is also a defender with Laureano 25h making up this promising trio. He also broke into the team mid-season and kept his place through rapid development. He is actually being mentored by the player he replaced as he as a model citizen personality and I've already had notifications that his ambition and determination have increased. Youth Intake The first success here is that I actually remembered to screenshot the intake this season! There are five 5* players here but I'm not convinced these players are as good as a 2025 intake that is now populating more and more first team slots. That being said it is far better than last season with 9 players signed up in total. Diaz 27c is the pick based on current ability but I don't play an attacking midfielder and don't fancy him as a winger so we'll have to see how he develops. I do like the look of Fernando 27d however and may expedite him through the u19s and straight into the B team. Transfers & Next Season The 4 players we loaned out were a mix of players already at the club when I joined and those from our first two intakes who haven't made the first team. Realistically none of the four will make the first team unless we lose 2/3 from higher up the food chain in their position but they all improved whilst out on loan which was nice to see. Picarra was a back up centre half who had been overtaken by our academy graduates who I moved on to save paying the last season of his contract. I'm hoping we manage to keep hold of our stars and push a little further away from the bottom 3 next season. As mentioned earlier the xPts table has us much higher so I think it's currently a case of playing well but struggling with that bit of inconsistency that comes with younger players. I've been micromanaging morale with a fine tooth comb so even when we lost 4 in a row last season it stayed high and we bounced back, which I think looking back was a big part of our survival. We are still deep in a financial hole and this division won't fix that so no improvements to facilities are on the horizon. Although you never want to sell anyone in a youth only save, if the right money came in for Roicado to clear our current debt and pay for a set of upgrades I would consider selling if our other centre halves keep pushing on behind. Our U19s have stayed up in the top tier again and will play a third season mixing it with Benfica, Porto and the other big boys. Interestingly the Belenenses U19s won the top division this season with an unbeaten campaign, my U19s finished above them as champions back in the U19s third tier!
Elsjorro
Allemannia Aachen 2026-2027 First things first, the most uninteresting thing, Transfers: So, not that uninteresting, cause we lose the best player of the squad to Braunschweig. He didnt want to sign a new contract and thats that. To this day ( Completed the challenge) we couldn't get a decent replacement for him. The competition: So, we improved. a few positions up, i think it was 8 points more then previous season. I guess that's all u can wish for at this stage of the challenge. Preview time: We would love a good striker tough. Intake: Not that decent, but a absolute stunner of a prospect with Jannik Seitz. Weirdly he wasnt rated that high, but he became the starting CV quite soon. Best players ( regens): So, we got some money now. I went to the board and they delivered:\ Bjekic and Mause the most important man to be fair:

Later in the save once you get mostly professional players that club mentality will influence players in your u21/18 squad and many will improve naturally. I just had a cb go from Balanced to fairly professional and he's been in my youth squad the whole time. Also you will get some bad personality players to develop early on especially if they have good media handling, so the 2 years without mentoring really isn't the worst.
Popular Post ludak
Another one!! We broke a bunch of record this season. Stojanovic played a legendary season! We were better than Juve and should have gone to the top 16, but Vlahovic is still scary! No man has played a season like this one since I started playing FM 19 years ago. 77 goals in all competitions is all I can say. I don't know what to say! The biggest problem is this: Stojanovic is about to lose his spot in the first team! We have some great players: Vujovic Jovanovic Durakovic Jovic Tadic Rizky As you can remember Rizky had jreach 1 when he first came into the squad, but he looks like he'll lead the defense in the next few years. Durakovic is the best player that came out of OFK Beograd youth ranks. Maybe Lovre is better, but thats it. Thats all for now, see you at the end of next one!

The U18s also had an amazing season, winning the Youth Cup North Final.... And the U18s National Final ! The Youth Intake was decent, with a couple of players that could certainly make an impact... With the stand out being O'Brien. With all that success, the board agreed to increase our Youth Recruitment Giving us an overview of our facilities.... Squad Dynamics were looking great at the end of the season... We nearly topped of the year with the FA Trophy but lost to our local rivals, Halifax Town, in extra time in a very dramatic final... On we go to Season Eight - can we finally get out of the Vanarama National League ?? Wish Us Luck! Personalities are not good. Spoiler Strabić 28D is the best player from our intake with average 48.88 ! i already have a great AML in the first team but can't ignore this great prospect. Liklin 28B is a our hope for the DMC spot in 1.5 season ! Also some great forward prospects in this intake . officiallydeej
League - This really was a season of two halves. After 12 games we were 2nd in the league with 7 wins, 4 draws and only a single defeat. Sadly only won 2 more games in the last 22 games of the season which saw us drop like a stone, though we did finish up 3 points better off than our first season at this level. There are a couple of things that caused the loss in form, firstly fatigue to our first team with little quality outside of our starting 11. The second was Mr President deciding to sell Lamelas 25d to Vitoria du Guimaraes, a bitter blow to what was a settled defence. We leaked goals from there and ended up with the unusual record of both most goals scored and against by the end of the season. A big shout to Canelas 2010 who were a fourth tier side when I took over at Sacavenense but thanks to a late season surge will be mixing it with the big boys next season. Taca de Portugal - We made it to the fifth round for the first time before being soundly beaten 3-0 at home to Arouca as our dip in form began to take hold. Allianz Cup - A poor outing this season going out to fellow second tier Farense on penalties following a 1-1 draw. U19s - They made it into the end of season Championship Group in the top U19 league for the first time, eventually finishing 5th behind winners Porto. Top Prospects Evora 25j is a new entry in this section following the untimely departure of Lamelas. He initially joined the first team group last season as our back up left winger but after rapid development from the bench took over as our regular starter. 5 goals, 13 assists and a call up to the Cape Verde under 21s marked a good debut season in senior football. The rapid progress of Laureano 25h continued this season, making him the latest of my starlets to make noises about wanting to leave. I've managed to stifle them for now but mentoring has led to a marked increase in his ambition will be no doubt see him at my door again soon enough. I probably need to tone down the hard tackling after he managed a ridiculous 19 bookings in 29 games. Our star man Roicado 25e is still here and actually decided for a brief period of time he was happy at the club until he remembered he was twice as good as anyone else and requested to leave again in mid March. His performances are now starting to match his attributes and he's creeping towards an average rating of 7 which would be excellent for a centre half at this level. I activated his contract clause in the summer so we'll be getting at least 4 more years of him - unless Mr President has other ideas. Youth Intake Our best intake for a while, possibly since the golden generation of 2025. Bruno Silva 28b has a lovely set of base attributes for a striker and with a fairly professional personality has already started developing and leading the line for the U19s. Filipe Gomes 28c is a raw centre half but is also absolutely huge, I feel he'll be a threat from set pieces if he develops enough to make it into the first team. Transfers & Next Season Only one but unfortunately it's the big one I mentioned earlier. Our rock solid centre half partnership was broken up when Mr President decided selling Lamelas 25d for 500k was a good idea, seeing us plummet from 2nd to a final league position of 14th. I wouldn't have minded if the money was right but the 500k barely scratched the surface of our debt. Luckily I managed to negotiate a 50% next sale clause meaning if he does go on to be a superstar he might just help us out financially in the future. Next season is a case on continuing to chip away and pull ourselves further towards mid table. I'm at risk of losing a couple of our stars if they get sold from under me and I don't have a huge amount of oven ready talent waiting in the wings. There isn't any real money at this level so we could use an away trip to one of the big 3 in the cup to try and force a set of upgrades. Annoyingly my board haven't approved any coaching badges for me through the whole save and show no sign of changing their stance. They did however cancel the new stadium they started planning 4 years ago, deciding that funding could not be sourced.
DazRTaylor
Macclesfield is proving to be very tough. We are in the bottom four after we games and eight points from safety. If I am fired, I will redo his as the same team as thoroughly enjoying it. Instead of spamming the forum, I will just edit the intro above. Shankly84
This years struggle continues. 6th season on my Georgia save and we suffer our 2nd relegation. This time its too much for the board and I'm sacked. We go again somewhere else... Edited January 8, 2023 by Shankly84
