Neo_Geo
21 minutes ago, Johnny Ace said: Yeah, it's gutting @Neo_Geo especially after you've spent the time nurturing them, checking their training and watching them grow into key players for your team, really thought I had two slots nailed down for years. I guess they're an ambitious pair so fair play I suppose I've already accepted a bid for Turitsov, £135k + 30% of the profit, he came to me and said he'll never sign a contract at the club and would leave for free so I just accepted to avoid the stink he'd kick up Sounds like Dortmund have found themselves a feeder club It’s what makes the challenge all the more rewarding when these clubs come in for your players and they aren’t interested. You just have to hope you gave enough depth to survive until the next ones come through (no guarantees that they will). You may find you just have to pick one of the players to put your foot down with and let them go for nothing as it’s better to get them scoring goals for you than playing another player who is nowhere near ready to replace them. The trick is knowing which player to do it with, preferably not influential as that way you can minimise the detrimental impact to dressing room atmosphere. Just make sure if the players moan you always a) tell them the team will be weakened and b) how unprofessional they are for disagreeing with you (never removes the issue but it at least improves your discipline rating which means players are less likely to cross you in the future and will back down more if they do). I do love this challenge

dkouv
Operário dos Açores – Season 10 (2032/33) Liga 3 It’s groundhog day again here: we won the league at a canter, but failed miserably in the promotion playoffs. The playoffs were extra painful this year though, as we were playing really well in the regular season, blowing everyone away, and then absolutely blew it in the playoffs. I mean, like, losing the first game 3-2 from 2-0 up, losing a couple of very tight games we deserved to win, drawing to a last minute equaliser… So we finished bottom of the promotion group this year, and that was that, another season in the 3rd division purgatory beckons. Players: Trying to promote a few more youngsters, with the main surprise being Dulio Do O, who was rated 2.5* PA at intake and who I only signed because of his professional personality, but now he has developed into a pretty decent right back, which is quite handy since I have no more right backs at the club (my attempts to retrain midfielders to play in that position have so far failed). Youth intake: Another year of poor personalities and very little CA. Dinis Soares 10a is rated as having 5* PA, but I'll believe it when I see him develop... Facilities/finances: more cash injections but the board are now cutting our wage budget, I hope we can get promoted in the next few years. Transfers Nothing of note. Popular Post WhiteCat33
FC Elazig Spor Hamburg Season 11 2033-34 Oberliga Hamburg (Tier 5) Past Season Updates: It's been a few weeks since I played my Turkish journey in northern Germany, but I needed a break from the MLS and this team is just rocking down in the lower leagues. Here are all the previous posts of the first decade in Hamburg: Spoiler Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 | Season 7 |Season 8 | Season 9 | Season 10 | Statistics: Intro & 2030 (S8) | 2029 (S7) & 2028 (S6) | Master Sheet | Percentile Rankings (S9) | 2056 POR & BEL | Table Rebuild |GK Add & V.03 Link Competitions League: 3 of 19 [Preview – 10/19 (50-1)] We did very well this season, but ultimately couldn't match the destructive offenses of Hamm United & Barmbek-Uhlenhorst to claim the top spot in the league. We "only" had a +47 GD, which was 10 & 20 less than these two teams respectively. Fair play to them. I'll accept the 3rd on GD and 5 points off the champion for this season. Humburg Pokal: CHAMPIONS! We did it! We will get to compete in the DFB Pokal next season to hopefully secure some free money as a top-flight punching bag. This competition was my absolute priority of the season because of the dire financial situation of the club. The win gave us a direct injection of $100k between Gate Reciepts & Prize money. Some Match Screenshots Squad: As it's been a minute since I've updated on Elazig I'll dive into a little more detail for the top players in the squad. CA & Overview: Here are my CA & Position Ratings for the best players in the squad. Annoyingly we have 2 GKs in the top 5, so I'll have to look into loans for Senol to make sure he actually develops instead of riding the bench for 90%+ of the season while Kuru is between the sticks. Star Players: E Sengul: Attacking Midfielder Left. Sengul is rated as a Regional Division Standard player (4th Tier) and his CA & Stats absolutely confirm that. He's awful at shooting, but his 28 assists for the season and only under-scoring his xG by 3 (11 vs 14.35) shows it really doesn't matter he has 1 long shot & 5 finishing. I have him on a 3+2 Year contract so I just have to hope the board don't screw me over with a nonsense sale due to our horrific financial situation. Stats: Spoiler Bartu Basar is my #2 WB but is a natural AML so is also included and thus brings down our club statistics substantially. You can better see Sengul's dominance when he's isolated. His big weakness is his Conversion %, but if this guy was any more perfect I would have no hope of retaining him. With his low scoring I actually have a chance of keeping him around. Mehmet Can: STRIKER. 34 goals across the league & cup with 7 assists is fire for a DLF. Thanks to his severe lack of speed I've been able to hang onto a striker whose skill is way beyond T5 and as the target of Sengul's services he does fantastic at converting them. Because I rotate my squad more his total Goals was only 3rd his Goals/90 was first at 1.05/90 (across all competitions). He also had a great aeiral performance as well as reasonably good providing stats. Big downside to him is the dark red big match performance, but luckily he over-came that this year. Spoiler Thankfully Can didn't have any injuries this year, so I could play him all season. I used him so much that my #2 Striker didn't hit the 1300 minute hurdle to get included in the dataset. Levent Kuru: Goalkeeper. I am very happy with Kuru's performance and development. He up'd his Det enough to turn Resolute this year and he has dark green consistency, which is ideal for a GK. He's actually fast, which is odd and works well for him as a sweeper keeper. 16 Shutouts in 34 league games is very good considering how young the CBs are in front of him. Spoiler I'm still working on the GK statistics part of my excel so there are Div/0 errors here as well as some not fully functional statistics. Ergen Turan: Central Defender. Turan is really coming into his own now turning 18 and showing how that Professional personality is OP for development. Granted he has a long ways to go skill-wise, but being 6'5" and either-footed with 15 jumping reach and positioning & 16 bravery makes him a big man in our back line. Hopefully, we can fix that awful consistency, but he still did well for us Denny Pepe: Central Defender. My German/Italian dual-national CB has put in a better performance this year than I expected and paired excellently with Turan. He performed great in the air with 14.7 Headers W out of 16.5 Attempts which was the best in the league, and his 89% Heading Ratio is amazing. He also was a stellar interceptor reading the game well for this level. Spoiler Couple more errors to fix, but you get the general idea even if the Top 3 is missing 3 statistics. Toplu is my #2 WB-R & Koese is my #1 WB-L but are both natural CB as well so are included by the spreadsheet. Transfers: Nothing really important, I'll also be letting a few more go over teh summer on frees back to Turkey. Best XI: Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview: Dire Preview Youth Intake: This was way better than I was expecting after that preview. Also the Caribbean followed me back to Germany with a Dominican Republic YI Player! YI Player Highlights: Spoiler Highest Coach Rated is Jonas Rosin, who does have about the highest CA w/WF. But he’s casual + Inconsistent, so will need a miracle to become relevant Ziyaettin Pop is a quick player who can move between all the AM positions, but that’s it My favorite player of the bunch is Feridun Altintas, a Professional Striker. Since we play with a DLF he will get re-trained to play as an AMC-SS where hopefully that mentality will round him out into a good player. Kubilay Sahin is a fine AML Prospect Mikail Duran’s lack of height & physical prowess will see him retrained as DM Finally, we have a half-decent Slovakian GK. Shame for him I’ve gotten 2 great GKs in the past few intakes so he has virtually no chance of playing for us. Academy Data: HOYD: Spoiler Head Coach Club Finances: The club is in a debt-spiral that I hope entering into the DFB Pokal can solve next year. We will spend ~80k this year in debt servicing costs which is over 15% of our total yearly expenditure. Without the debt-fees we would be a profitable club and be able to actually invest in things. This year even with the 100k boost from the cup we will struggle to break even, which is not good. Spoiler Facilities: At the end of last season the board said they were going to look to build a new stadium as we sell out our tiny 1000 person ground every match. I'm still waiting for the board to come back from the planning stage with an answer. Facilities tab suggests it will be ~4700, which is a small improvement bud hardly worth the money. I'll miss our distinctive Clay Pitch [Yes its Orange for any game highlight], but I think the boys have earned the "privilege" of playing on a grass field Supporters: Spoiler Manager Thoughts It was a lot of fun to return to Hamburg and battle for the biggest fish in the smallest pond down in the German 5th Tier. The club has a great foundation set-up and has a decent young pipe-line to slowly bring the average players in the squad closer to the few break out stars I've developed already. Feels good to update the trophy Cabinet! Edited April 5, 2023 by WhiteCat33
Popular Post Koetzer
FK Viktoria Žižkov – season 2035/36 The final stage was very disappointing, luckily we had a good gap over 6th place and Sparta helped us to keep the European spot with winning the cup. Cup Got rid of extra games early. Conference League Our second group stage appearance didn’t start so well, but 13 points were eventually enough for a top eight finish. A great result itself, but the way we lost in semi-final was really annoying. After a comeback against Young Boys (trailing 0-2 and 2-3 at home with a few minutes left) and destroying Fiorentina I could hope for the second final appearance, but Sturm became an unbeatable opponent for us this season. Squad stats J.Šmíd *28a – almost doubled his goalscoring record from last season, became the best Czech footballer of the year and earned a call-up for the Euros (maybe he'll finally earn his first senior cap there). A.Uhlíř *31a – had a very controversial season, great form in autumn brought him the Golden Boy award, but then he only scored once after the winter break M.Bílek *24b – one of our veterans had his best stats ever, still that wasn’t enough to break Jambor’s assisting record (which was set during only half of the season). B.Varga *26i – another good season for our center-back who also will take part in the Euros. L.Řehák *33b, S.Trifunović *34g, T.Tichý *34c – for the first time we had multiple players selected into NXGN top 50, though I’d put Trifunovic ahead of others. He’s a regular starter now and scored some remarkable goals from distance (this volley in Conference semi-final was just amazing, shame that we lost that game). Seeing a loaned center-back in this list is quite surprising as his stats weren't so impressive in the second tier, but I guess that means a really good potential. O.Žák *33e – probably deserved the NXGN selection as well, anyway his progress deserves to be mentioned. Transfers – no major departures, but Muxel and especially Jambor earned some money for us with their new transfers! Youth intake (preview) Látal *36a | Vydra *36b | Navrátil *36c | Havlíček *36d | Rezek *36e Not the best intake for a 5 star rating, still the top four players look quite promising. Youth recruitment was increased to 20 after the latest patch, and another training upgrade is on the way. Also we finally got the first foreign affiliate in China (chose the club with better facilities).
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2036/37 Macclesfield Season Summary Qualifying for the promotion playoffs is a new high for the club trhough we were dreadful in the cups. Season Details League Table - A club record high as we finished fifth and qualified for the promotion playoffs. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Poor form in the first couple of months of the season put paid to any chance of automatic promotion. We did come close though. Promotion Playoffs - We lost to Tranmere Rovers over two legs in the semi final which forces the club to stay in the fourth tier for at least another season. F. A. Cup - A shocking and embarrassing display at home to non leaue Barrow in the first round saw the club crash out at the first hurdle. Carabao Cup - We were humiliated away to mid table Championship side Stoke City in the second round as they demolished us by seven goals to two. Papa John's Trophy - We once again topped our group to qualify for the knockout rounds though there was no repeat of last season's Wembley appearance as Leicester City's Under 21's comfortably beat us on our own patch. Friendlies - With just the one loss, we arguanly enjoyed our best pre season campaign to date. Squad - Whilst we did lose a talent this season, we still have a good nucleus to our squad. Squad Dynamics - After finishing the season without a win in five games, this could be better. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - Over £15m was raised in player sales as the club wasd raided for our talented youth players, including a club record sale for £10m. Plenty of players were also loaned out. Youth Candidates - We have had better intakes though players such as central midfielder Loric Kalala YP37A178 look decent enough. Finances - We have a nice healthy bank balance despite spending a small fortune on facility improvements. This is largely down to player sales. Key Players Corey Davies YP32F103 - Now an Under 21 international, the Welsh centre back enjoyed another terrific season. Robert Reynolds YP32G104 - The irish winger found his consistency that was lacking last season. He had an excellent campaign. Damien McFadden YP28E38 - The Irishman continues to be one of our best central midfielders. Alistair Wolfenden YP28D37 - Now largely playing on the left wing, he has taken to his new role well and continues to score regularly. Robert Millar YP31E86 - After two seasons out on loan, the Northern Irish former Under 19 international striker has finally cemented his place as our main striker. Next Season Automatic promotion is the obvious aim. Popular Post Neo_Geo
EUROPEAN FOOTBALL BECKONS FOR SAK 1914 More Youth DetailsYouth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review The obvious talking points are European football next season and the sale of Ludwig Wenzel (Elite2). Really taken aback by how well we adapted to the top-flight. I made a few minor tactical tweaks to the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and by in large it seems to have paid off. This was despite losing Wenzel (Elite2) to Dortmund in January which I reluctantly agreed to given it was close to the £11m fee I said I'd sell him for and at that point we were £1m in the red (the top flight doesn't appear to make the same payments of £400k for 12 Austrian players in match day squad for 9 consecutive games and we certainly felt the pinch from that). Dortmund are proving to be a real pain the ass with them approaching us for Geiger (Elite2) about a week after they bought Wenzel (Elite2). They also want our keeper whilst Geiger is now wanted by AC Milan, Bayern and Porto as well as Dortmund. Geiger has a 3 year extension I can trigger once he hits 18 so contractually I have no issues keeping him and financially with European football I may not have to sell to maintain a positive balance, the question is whether I can keep him and the squad happy enough. Geiger is only in the "Other Players" category in the hierarchy whereas Wenzel had become influential so I might be able to just keep saying no for now (but saying that a stupidly high bid would allow me to start looking at upgrading the training facilities as well). The intake for this year was decent with a right back who can play with his left foot so I really need to get him retrained and playing there as my year 1 Elite player has stagnated at the same level despite playing over 70 first team matches for us. Another DC, MC and AMC works well for me given the narrow formation we play however no Elite striker means if we sell Geiger we might be short of quality up top (Matko (Elite3) has stepped in well but Weiss (Elite3) is only 2 star CA so Geiger really needs to stay whilst we gradually improve Weiss if we can). Personality wise it's starting to slip a bit and a few of the negative personalities are now in the first squad the issue being there aren't any of the older players with anything better than Balanced, so I will need to wait for the better personality youngsters to get to the point where they will have a significant impact on the others in their group. We had our first NXGN entry of the save (and Wenzel also appeared there after leaving for Dortmund in 31st Place) Wenzel had already won the European Golden Boy award which prompted the interest, bid and subsequent sale to Dortmund A poisoned chalice for me is the European Golden Boy in this save, it happened at Chiasso and Katwijk as well given they did so well that they ended up garnering too much interest. At the tail end of the season the board announced the confirmed plans for the new stadium which luckily is being FULLY funded by grants I think a near 14,000 capacity stadium will serve me well for a number of years unfortunately its another season of playing in the restrictive 3,000 capacity stadium which I think will see the season ticket waiting list move off zero this season. No international appearances yet but more and more are appearing in the U21s so its only a matter of time before the first cap is obtained. Just appointed Kolo Toure as new first team coach with Model Citizen personality as well as upgrading my fitness coach so its starting to come together off the field as well now. I'm hoping with HoYD starts to get some results this season with the Resolute personality and excellent attributes for WWY, JCA and JPA but time will tell. Next season I want to get as much money from Europe as I possibly can, keep a hold of my players as a result of the financial boost and attempt to finish in the Championship group again if possible leading into season 6 with the new stadium in place. Overall I'm delighted with the save but I need to be mindful of my Vitkovice attempt that failed after similar amounts of success.
Daddy
I decided to give Croatia another try. I had an interesting team there in FM22 but finances blew it up. I played a couple of matches to get a feel for where the team is and uh...it's not great. We're not getting blown out, but no offense at all. The bottom three are automatically relegated, and 9th is in a relegation playoff. Hopefully, things get worked out or this could be a brief run.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Cardiff Draconians - Season 2026/27 (Season 4) - JD Cymru Premier Squad | Transfers | Finances We survived.... barely! This was a really tough season, as we for some reason conceded like crazy. According to the xG table we conceded 31(!) goals more than we should have... I have no idea how or why that happened, but we do. Luckily, the intake gave me a new first choice goalkeeper, so I hope next season will be better in this regard. Welsh Cup: We beat Port Talbot Town, Swansea Uni, Carmarthen Town, and Bala Town before we lost to Cardiff Met Uni in the semi final. League Cup: We beat Swansea Uni before we lost to Goytre United in the 3rd round. U19s They finally joined a league and played in the Cymru Premier Development League (South) this season where they finished 3rd. karax268
Louletano Desportos Clube - End of season review 2032/33 Fixtures 1 | Fixtures 2 | Transfers | Finances The League We survived. Most of the year was dismal. we started with just one win in the first 15 games. wich was fun... There was a clear pack of 5 relegation candidates that stayed close for most of the season and we were in the bottom 3 for most of it. 7 points in our last three games, including two wins against fellow relegation battlers, makes the final table look a lot more comfortable than it was. To put our performance into perspective. the last time we were in Liga 2 we were relegated with the same point total as we got this season, 31. In fact, in none of the seasons played so far would 31 points have been enough to avoid relegation playoffs. The Cups Nacional from Liga NOS was to much for us in the Allianz cup. While Santa Clara (also from Liga Nos) got the better of us in the Taca de Portugal. The second time we got to sixth round in my tenure and another respectable showing in the cups. Youth Intake a good Intake with a nice combination of PA and Personalities this time. As I'm typing this Yuriy Borshch 3301 is at the UEFA U-19 Championship for Ukraine. I have high hopes for him. The squad Not much to say in such a dismal season. Our top performer and topscorer was Diogo Cardoso 3002 But it was anything but a good season for even him. Wilson Evora 2401 did become the first YI player to claim the most appearances for Louletano. The legend becomes less and less relevant for us with more players breaking through. But he still has a place with us. Together with Pedro Serras 2404 that makes two players from the first intake that are still with us 10 years into the save. Off the field Investments from the board into the club have stopped and our debt has skyrocketed. Things don't look great. I did manage to get my Continental A Licence. And I am studying for the Continental Pro.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Sweden - Division 1 North (Tier 3) 2033 (Season 11) Season Summary This save is gonna break me..... I wasn't expecting much from this season as, even though we've been in this divisin for years, we were still favourites to go down So you could have knocked me down with the weather when not only did we start well but after game 5 went on a ludicrous win. 12 games in a row! it was crazy! we were winning 5-0, 6-2, 5-1 against good sides! it looked like it was finally our year! It was mainly down to the form of Samir Fetahagic 26A - last few seasons a CM but shoved up front out of desperation. I mean, look at this! Come mid-season we were top with a nice points advatnage to boot. Could this be the year? I knew the real test would come when we finally lost and how we reacted to it. And.... we reacted badly. After we lost, only one victory in seven, and although we finished with a couple of good wins we'd blown it. The top two teams went on similarly bonkers runs to us in the second half of the season too - what can you do? Youth yeah, yeah, bucketloads of elite talents. Not that they've done me much good so far.... # I don't know who is any good anymore Career I feel like I'm heading into Padders territory here!

Neo_Geo
@libbyshuss that’s insane for a makeshift striker, you thinking of retraining him and making it permanent? I often tend to go on personality now with the 5 star (or as I call them 4.5 star given the white 5th star), if they have potential but have low determination, unambitious, low self belief etc. I tend not to play them unless I have to. No idea if I’ve ever let superstars go over this method but it’s served me pretty well.

We finished either 10th or 9th for the fourth season in a row and we actually had 1 less point than last season, although we finished 7 points clear of relegation. Our players took steps to improve this year and towards the end of the season we could consistently score goals for the first time in forever. The issue is that we still concede 2+ in most matches. The defenders developed, but not super rapidly and they're still short. This year's intake did not help much on that front either. We will continue to push forward as we always do. Key players: Reveal hidden contents Wasn't enjoying the game for a while, but after a few months I've got the itch to come back. Expect the 2036 intake in a couple days.

It seems to make a big difference but, as you say, who knows who i lost? Fetahagic is one of those weird players who's a natural at MC and S. I kinda like players like that, gives me a huge amount of options. I always thought he'd be better suited in midfield but shows how much i know! then again, he just hit 42 goals in 31 games and our coach calles him a fringe player!

Daddy
Well I forgot to take pic of fired and table at time. I did capture the xG table though. After 11 matches I was fired. Only 1 win and 4 draws. That XGA of +10 is brutal. I was curious if they would turn around without me not really. they beat the same team I got a win three more times and a win against a team I drew. So what's next? I'm open to suggestions.
Johnny Ace
Really bad start to the season, lost two keys players, kids I'd brought through but as soon as other teams came if for them they were gone. @Neo_Geo called it, left for a pittance and barely played (the one made 9 subs appearances) I've annoyed another two players, one for fining him for a 5.9 (I thought that was a thing? ) and the other for blocking a bid I don't mind either leaving to be honest, at this point the first team squad is bloated, the U-18's squad is bloated and the bank account is empty. A few seniors are retiring and/or out of contract This season was about blooding the kids and staying up The preview was alright, no AMC for a change A DM, a couple of midfielders and a one and half star defender! I was over the moon!! I've got about 6 one star defenders right now, at one point 5 of them were injured at the same time The full back is a bit meh, he's slow, so no good to me really Nothing of note this year really, though I did get a bit more into Mentoring groups and I got a Junior coaching budget upgrade

DazRTaylor
One of the things I love about this type of save is when you get a few years into the game, your academy produces a lot of talent and you loan a lot out. Popular Post Riebow
Arras FA Season Review (37/38): Les Boyaux Rouges League: Our best season to date, finishing 8th and just outside of European Football. We had a terrible spell during the months of February and March which knocked us out of contention. This result was mainly due to the emergence of Paupol Malango (Intake of 35), who scored 16 goals in the league. Also, the country of France rejoiced when PSG didn't win the title for once. A Steven Gerrard led Rennes won the league comfortably this season. Game of the season: We slayed the dragon! We defeated Mordor! We blew up the Death Star. Honestly, this was the first time I even bothered playing the actual game. Before I just simulated our games against PSG, because what's the point anyway? This time around we were in pretty good form, so I gave it a try. I put on the game, went for a toilet break and a glass of water. When I came back Ibrahima Ngom was scoring the 4-0 on penalty. In the first half! (full disclosure they beat us 7-1 at home) Spoiler Cup: We made it to the quarter finals, our best result yet. We were unlucky to draw PSG and this time they beat us comfortably 4-1. Intake: Not as good as previous intakes, but still 6 elite talents. A mixed bag of personalities though. The talent: Kylian Neff: Rated as the best prospect of the intake Spoiler Ousmane Soumah Spoiler Evan Maso Spoiler Steve Ahmadou Spoiler Basille De Vos: Finally a fellow Belgian! Spoiler Mousa Tapo: Unambitious + low det.. no high hopes for this one Spoiler NXGN: We have 2 players on the NXGN, including the winner! No surprise that Michel Loisseau (intake of 37) is on there. He's by far the best prospect to ever come out of our intake. He was already rated as a decent Ligue 1 player at age 15. I'm surprised that Paupol Malango won it though. This was a player I was waiting to develop and I'm really happy it finally happened. Finally somebody who can score a goal. The players: Paupol Malango: Spoiler Michel Loisseau: Spoiler Other: In France you can only send 7 players on load to domestic teams, which is becoming quite a problem. However, I don't get the option to select a foreign affiliate. Is this due to our reputation? Can someone shed some light on that? It would be really helpful to have an affiliate in Belgium for example. Next season: As we finished one spot from European football, the next step should be competing for either Conference or Europa League football .

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Cardiff Draconians - Season 2027/28 (Season 5) - JD Cymru Premier Squad | Transfers | Finances A better season than last. While we still ended in the lower bracket at the split, we were only a point behind Penybont, so it could have been much more. At least we dominated the lower part and ended in a very respectable 7th place. It also brought us into the playoff for the European spots! There we faced Newtown and unfortunately lost on penalties. So we were not far off this season, and it felt like clear step forward for us. The defensive side of things were the major highlight this season, as we reduced the number of shipped goals by 24 this season compared to last! Maybe we can reach the upper bracket next season? DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2037/38 Macclesfield The preview promised me a good full back: I am quite pleased with the intake though the best player isn't a full back, he is a left winger.

Popular Post _JHTB_
Ilkeston Town - Season 10 – Vanarama National League– 1st Champions Transfers -- Squad -- League This was a similar start in ways to last season, we were creating enough to win games but had to wait till the 6th game of the season to actually record a win. My striker was particularly poor to start the season massively underperforming his xG. After we got the win, we did start to pick up a head of steam with most of our games ending in wins as we pushed back up towards the playoff positions. Due to our poor start to the season, and Maidstone’s form matching up to ours largely it did look for large portions of the season that we may have to settle again for playoff football, but the key point of the season was our match against them as we ended their 12 game unbeaten run (15 for all competitions) which ended up causing a collapse in form for them as they won only 1 of their last 6 games. On the contrary, we won 5 of our last 6 to ultimately win the league by 6 points, but more than fortunate of a complete collapse by Maidstone. Regardless, we are now in the football league and professional. Youth Intake A good intake with one major stand out player. Generally a bit disappointed with some of the personalities, but you can’t complain too much when an intake looks like this. Ethan Humphries 10 – Wow, what a player this guy is. As soon as he signed the contract he was considered the best plater in the league and is it any wonder? The only negative I can think of is perhaps he lacks as an ariel presence but, he can’t have it all. He will of course be straight to starting, however, unsurprisingly he is already attracting interest from teams higher in the pyramid so I don’t even know if we will be able to keep him for that long. Gary Joyce 10 – Joyce looks to be a handy wide man, with most his attributes for that area being pretty decent. He does of course have a decent bit of room for improvement but he actually ended the season as first choice on the right (initially brought in to allow rest for players but performed well to not deserve to be dropped.) Lefteris Ioannou 10 - A versatile fullback capable of playing on both the left and right. He is a little slower than I’d have liked and his attacking attributes aren’t the best, but we were in need of fullback cover and he provides it well on both sides. Overview We have now improved our youth recruitment and junior coaching to exceptional which should aid in future intakes and are now going professional which should help in actually training up our players on a full term training schedule. Our squad is starting to get much better in terms of depth with me being happy enough with many areas of the team to rotate which hasn’t been the case previously. The one key area that is lacking is still central midfield, we are not blessed with players of much quality there so I am retraining a few players to see if I can pick up this shortfall. Next season, anywhere above the bottom 2 will do me. Since the start of the save, not a single team that has been promoted as Champions of the National League has been relegated straight back, with many actually completing back to back, so perhaps I am underestimating our chances by aiming 3rd bottom. We are actually in process of a board takeover. There have been murmurings all season, but it seems now we will be getting one which will not really change much unless they are intent in pumping money into the club. Another stadium expansion as well, this time a lot more pricey. Must be the laying of grass that's expensive Key Players Timmy Browne 1 – Browne was back to his best this season, managing 10 goals as well in the league. He has now passed the 400 overall appearances for the club and is on his way to getting to 400 league appearances too (he needs 408 to get the overall record for league appearances). He will be first choice for the next season, but we do have a promising youngster in defense which could see him eventually drop out. DeAndre Reid 8 – A great season from the right wing back. When he first came through I did think he would be a good centre back (still think he could perform there) but this season proved that he is a good fullback. 10 assists and a 7.25 average rating is good going for only his second full season. Alessio Raccagni 4 – This season was Raccagni’s most productive for us putting in 10 assists from central midfield. He missed only 1 game in the season as a whole, which in part is down to our lack of depth, but regardless he generally performs well for us. Johnny Ace
Sweet and sour season Sweet, we exceeded expectations. Sour, we bottled promotion on the final day This season was about giving the kids a chance and a good few of them took the opportunity Stand out was Stanimir Chervenkiv with 29 goals in 27 league starts, if I can keep him next season, he could break the club's top goal scorer record Spoiler Next was 16 year old left back Karamflilov who's now the club's best centre back Spoiler Big mention to box-to-box midfielder, Zelyamov, who got two back to back 4 months injuries but developed really well Spoiler Sure they'll all been annoyed soon enough Preview was meh, need to cut down the squads more than anything The intake was meh too, the personalities weren't great so only signed 6 or 7 of them. think that's my fault for switching the HOYD We lost two promising left sided wingers this season which left us light We're losing a couple more veterans this season to retirement so much the same next season, chuck the kids in and see how we do
Daddy
On 22/02/2023 at 09:41, Daddy said: 2031-32 Season Review: Late in the season, we lost our keeper. The backup is a significant dropoff and we went from challenging for the league to a comfy 3rd place. Disappointing to end up in Europa League Instead of the Champions League, but we go right into League Phase at least. We had a really tough draw but managed to do well enough to claim the final playoff spot in the league phase. The score in the Real Madrid game is misleading as it was 1-0 until the 80th minute. two late goals to put it out of reach. Other than Milan we hung in with all the teams in the league phase. Porto in the playoff was a tough draw as well. The first match was a back-and-forth draw, but in the second leg we got thumped by the eventual winners of the Champions League. Overall I'd call it a successful run as we weren't completely run out of the competition. We had the most wins in the league we've had, but more losses which cost us valuable points since we couldn't turn them into draws. Still more progress season over season. Two repeat wonderkids. The first-place guy is our star goalie. Sadly he's in the final year of his contract and won't sign a new contract. As you can see from the finances there's no real reason to see the wonderkid so I'll just run the contract down and hopefully get one more good season out of him. Youth Facilities was downgraded and I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet. Stadium was expanded to 10K which finished halfway through the season. Youth Intake: Another varied intake. I signed all the players with three gold star potential. 2032-33 Season preview: There have been repeating champions but the league is frequently won by different teams so no one team has dominated the league. As it's been for the last few seasons and will be going forward, I want to make a push to win the league and hopefully start to develop into that team that dominates. Newcastle and Freiburg are tough draws, but the rest are teams at or below levels we've beaten before so I expect to make the playoffs/knockouts in the Europa League. Decided to go back to this for now.

Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2037/38 Macclesfield Season Summary We secured another promotion, as we continue to rise through the leagues. The less said about the cups, however, the better. Season Details League Table - Promotion was secured with three games remaining though we had to settle for the runners up spot, despite securing 103 points. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were so good in winning so many games as we scored goals what feels like at will. F. A. Cup - Very poor. We needed a replay & a late winner to beat National League side Rochdale in round one before losing away to Spennymoor Town, who also play in the fifth tier. Carabao Cup - We went down away to Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers in the first round. Papa John's Trophy - We once again qualified for the knockout rounds though we had to settle for runners up spot in our group. A home defeat to League One side Notts County saw the club crash out at the third round stage. Friendlies - We matched lat season by only losing one of our pre season games. Squad - Our terrific facilities is certainly helping our players develop. Squad Dynamics - As fine as you would expect after such a good league campaign. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - There were no major sales this year though I did clear out a lot of fringe players, together with plenty of youngsters out on loan. Youth Candidates - A good intake, with attacking midfielder Josh Stewart YP38E198 looking like a potential star. Finances - We continue to maintain a healthy bank balance, despite spending heavily on improving the facilities. Key Players Robert Reynolds YP32G104 - Mainly used on the right wing he enjoyed another stellar campaign. Damien McFadden YP28E38 - The irishman remains as one of our most reliable players. Alistair Wolfenden YP28D37 - Deployed either up front or on the left wing, he continues to be a regular goalscorer. Igor Van Hoecke YP35E150 - Still only a teenager, the Belgian Under 21 international central midfielder enjoyed his first full season in the first team, following two successful seasons on loan at non league Aldershot Town. Craig Reid YP32B99 - Highly reliable, the central defender was used more than expected and retained his place as a result. Next Season I would love a safe, mid table finish, though this may prove to be a stretch. Popular Post libbyshuss
Sweden - Division 1 North (Tier 3) 2034 (season 12) Season Summary So after our best season last year could we go one further? Nope, we had our worst season yet! First half of the season was fine, we did ok, a few good results and a few narrow defeats left us safely mid-table. Fetahagic doing his magic up front again. And then the board did this..... Two of our best players. Good prices for our level to be fair but it left us depleted for the second half of the season. These two were the spine of our team! And we felt their lack of presence.... last 15 league games returned 2 victories and 13 defeats to leave us in the play-offs we were in such a bad run, 6 straight defeats, that I wasn't at all surprised when we lost the first leg at home 2-0. But I was flabbergasted when we turned up for Leg 2 and somehow managed to escape with a 3-0 victory. I couldn't believe it! But we're going backwards if anything so I might put this save on the backburner and head elsewhere. I just can't see us improving enough to get out this league. We're semi-pro and the teams that come down are always pro, and the gaps in quality are insane. Our intakes are good but facilities atrocious so they never really improve enough. and when they do the board sell them for peanuts! So time for a break somewhere else I haven't been before oh, and lol Edited April 7, 2023 by libbyshuss
Popular Post JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2057/58 Review (s36) - Invincible season Main things of note: We finished third in our Champions League group, so far better than the six defeats we suffered in our group last season We made it through to the second knockout round of the Europa League, losing 3:6 to Lyon on aggregate We did the Welsh Cup and League double We managed an invincible season again this season. There were a few shaky games, particularly against Colwyn Bay and Cardiff Met Curtis Mitchell-North 48b (70, 24yr RB) was voted Fans PotY for the first time Tom Broad 53c (80, 20yr DM), my wonderkid midfielder, has now amassed 17 u21 caps for England and we're getting offers from all the top English and European clubs. Spoiler Competitions Spoiler League League Records Spoiler CL Qualification CL Group Europa League Youth Intake Spoiler Preview 5 STAR preview. Seem to have missed a screenshot Intake HoYD Players Spoiler First Team (22) Spoiler Curtis Mitchell-North 49b (70) was voted Fans Player of the Year for the first time Tom Broad 53c (80) is still our star player. He doesn't want to negotiate a new contract so next season is likely to be his last for us. Peter Davies 56e (67) - our top scorer for second season running Phil Nicholls 58a (52) - Our top prospect from this seasons intake. He doesn't look that promising. Popular Post WhiteCat33
FC Elazig Spor Hamburg Season 12 2034-35 Oberliga Hamburg (Tier 5) Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 | Season 7 |Season 8 | Season 9 | Season 10 | Season 11 Statistics: Intro & 2030 (S8) | 2029 (S7) & 2028 (S6) | Master Sheet | Percentile Rankings (S9) | 2056 POR & BEL | Table Rebuild |GK Add & V.03 Link Competitions League: 2 of 18 [Preview – 07/18 (50-1)] Again Hamm United are just way too good for this league and I truly hope they get promoted in the playoffs. My losses came to them both fixtures and then one each to Ottensen and Mendorf. The draws came from rotation to prioritize the cups. I'm glad to see our defensive performance is getting better and we are scoring more goals recording our best GD all save. How did Hamm do in the playoffs? Sadly not good enough so we will have to face them again next season Hamburg Cup: Runner Up We had a very easy draw up until the final where the league champion Hamm had dispatched two opponents from higher divisions to face off against us. We had an awful game and they got a simple 3-0 victory. Disappointed in the performance, but Hamm ran away with the league this year, so its not too shocking. Spoiler DFB Pokal: 1st Round I about jumped out of my seat when our AMR scored an early goal against RB Leipzig and we did great for 85 minutes of the game. Unfortunately, the 5 minutes we did poorly at the end of the first half they scored 3 goals and easily sent us packing. I know this is true-to-life, but it sucks financially that in the 1st round all the lower league teams are automatically the home side. Our puny stadium only generated 12k in Gate Receipts Spoiler Squad: CA & Overview: Big improvement this year for my GK Kuru & LB Basar. Basar + AML Sengul gives us have a dominant left side at this level. Big drop-off to the rest of the squad sadly with DM being a notable hole in the team that I can't seem to develop star talent. Ilyas Altun is the only possible player and he is slowly developing as a DLP, maybe next year will be his year to shine. Data Hub: Best XI Spoiler Transfers: Almost nothing this year Spoiler Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview: Not good Youth Intake: This time the intake reflected the preview and was utter garbage YI Player Highlights: Spoiler Brutally bad intake, I might just take people with good personalities. Here is the best rated player, who has a bad personality and is in our strongest position so will never play. We need DMs so the fact we got 2 is great, but not sure either will be good enough to ever play: If my half Norwegian RB had a good personality I’d be interested, but sadly it wasn’t to be. The one I like most is this CB who could work his way into the backup slots for us considering how weak our CB depth is. Academy Data: I don't like to see that our top-player CA has settled back down to what it was before the YR & JR Coach upgardes. We've gained reputation since then with the Cup win, so we should be seeing an improvement in our Top CA players. If next year doesn't reverse the trend I will begin the process of replacing my HOYD, probably with one who prefers HOYD as his job. HOYD: He gained .5 Reputation this year. Still won't do a coaching badge but his JPA has increased to 9 now. He started with no desire to be a HOYD so I think that is slowly going up. I'm torn if I want to stick with this guy for a long haul since he is so young and there is significant room for improvement if he can just begin to like being a HOYD. Spoiler Head Coach No awards or anything to note. Club Board We had a promotion from within in April this year. No investment or change in anything until the end of the season where the planning finally finished for our new grass stadium. To me this is very expensive for the size of the stadium. Financially now the club is in a precarious state with that massive of a loan being added. Finances: The debt is scary now. Even though we made money this year with the DFB game prize money, our Youth Academy costs doubled this year and now with this stadium loan we have $4M Debt, which is nuts for a T5 club. Supporters: Spoiler Manager Thoughts The team is ready now to play up a tier and we need to get their ASAP before the finances implode. Unfortunately for us next year Wandsbek will be back down with us, but to show how strong Barmbek-Uhlenhorst were they are competing for runner-up in the division above us so I really think we should survive if we get promoted and hopefully that with our new stadium should slowly aim to repair the serious financial problems that are developing. Popular Post Neo_Geo
SAK 1914 MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO More Youth DetailsYouth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review Another 4th place finish but due to FC RB Salzburg beating us in the Austrian FA Cup final we qualified via the league without needing the playoff this time around. The season started well with us comfortably winning our second qualifying round game in Conference League qualifiers before beating Rosenborg 2-0 at home, then Geiger (Elite2) left to Bayern Munich for £12m upfront, no extras and no sell ons (please don't let him be a wonderkid). It was exactly what I was dreading but at the same time the funds kept us in the black all season and allowed me to finally upgrade the training and youth facilities: Given the loss of Geiger and my back up not looking to great and record league goalscorer Stephan Dorfmayr now rocking a 2 star CA I decided to opt for a formation change and play 2 AMCs (one playmaker and one shadow striker) in behind an off centre Matko (Elite3). Given we finished 4th it looks like it worked however we scored 7 goals less than the season before but crucially conceded 6 goals less as well. Susterajter (Elite2) was great in goals again and despite knocking back (who else) Dortmund with a derisory offer he picked himself up for the first half of the season before complaining in November about playing with better players (as did Egle (Elite2)) only for him (and Egle) to both back down come the end of the January window when no further bids came in. It was another season with another round of players getting youth awards in Europe which made me very nervous though to date I haven't had any offers at the end of season 5 and I'm just hoping to get to September with the squad looking the same: Off the park I was really looking forward to getting a boost in season ticket sales however the new stadium has been delayed: The intake this year has provided Rene Bogener (Elite5) who at face value looks to be a real prospect in AMC (which works well with the new formation that I may adjust to a 4-2-3-1 DM Narrow next season) and given he hasn't kicked a ball and has a value of between £6.6m and £8.4m I'm thinking this kid is something special so I can't wait to get to work with him in the first team). The keeper and defensive midfielder also look good and at least I have a 5 star Elite striker to act as back up for Matko. This summer sees some of my more important players from earlier in the save leave the club: Hassanovic GK (104 appearances and 37 clean sheets for SAK), Gallei RB (144 appearances), Griessner MC (166 appearances 6 goals, 32 assists), Dorfmayr AMC/SC (165 appearances 46 goals). It would have been fitting to leave the stadium at the same time but September it will have to be. It's perhaps a risk letting these guys go but they are going to play less and less and their CA is now lower than most who play in their positions yet still command a pretty sizeable salary (£6.2 p/w for all 4). I'm keeping tabs of higher rated HoYD that I haven't yet approached, so Vogel will get at least another season to see who can unearth and I continue to improve the medical and coaching team. Next season it's kinda boring but I hope for a similar outcome as we are just looking to establish ourselves in the league. The one thing that is for certain in Austria is it will take a huge effort to overthrow FC RB Salzburg as they are player dealing at a very high level, just have to hope they sign some duds when my best talents come through but I feel it will be some way off and we may have to look at Europa Conference progress/success as a route to boosting our reputation enough to keep hold of the best players to then mount a serious title challenge.
Popular Post Johnny Ace
With 5 games left we were within touching distance of 3rd place, 2 of of those 5 games were away at 1st and 2nd so it was never really on Good season though, Chervenkov didn't find his shooting boots like he did last season and we never really hit a hot patch as a result Think I might of messed up my academy with my HOYD, either it'll take a couple of season's to level out or I've made a bad pick We're still getting AMCs, my new HOYD likes a 4-3-3 so we'll see next season Did get a couple of these now that the board love me Spoiler But our youth training level dropped This is always nice too Spoiler Transfers, I missed up and gave a youth a late contract, so he "signed" on May 1st when his trial expired 30th April, I'll release him. We also lost Vasev, a promising DM/CM who didn't really fit in tbh which caused some squad unrest but 125k was what we'd agreed and a nice fee.
Popular Post libbyshuss
so here I go again! I've ditched Sweden, we were going nowhere, and headed somewhere where I've never tried this challenge before. Germany! I decided to be anyone but Cottbus, as they've already been used and completed this year, and was quite happy when Aachen popped up. With their facilities and money it feels like cheating a bit after scrabbling around for coppers in Sweden. So here I am! Although not quite fallen giant status, it wasn't that long ago that Aachen were in the Bundesliga. But since then they went bust and found themselves in the regional leagues. But not any more! Check out these facilities. Very nice! And this stadium is crazy for a starting side in this challenge. I'm feeling quite good about this! Why have I never tried Germany before? (I've also decided to only have saves in countries where I haven't completed it before, just because)

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Cardiff Draconians - Season 2028/29 (Season 6) - JD Cymru Premier Squad | Transfers | Finances We did reach the upper bracket this season, and not just that we finished in a very strong 4th and won the playoff for European spots! So we are heading into Europe next season! Not that I expect much of this foray, but it should bring in some money at least and help us continue to build the club. I'm still longing for the day we can go professional. TNS are still the only professional club here in Wales, so doing that will be the catalyst for the next step.
