Socerer 01
Let's get this started. There's only one goalkeeper on loan from West Brom whose contract will expire in six days. No other incoming or outgoing transfers/loans at present. We're predicted to finish mid-table and the chairman expects us to avoid relegation as a minimum. Our training and youth facilities are also good, possibly among the best in this division which should mean newgens with good ratings albeit the youth recruitment isn't as good, hopefully we can pump that up soon enough. There are seventeen players in the main team at present so it'll be a tough season till we get to the youth intake but hopefully we get there in one piece.

Socerer 01
Just noticed that AFC Telford can’t play in the same division as Shrewsbury Town due to them being a senior affiliate which probably kills that save idea. Mahzun_Savas
Everything was going quite well. I was on the verge of the playoffs spots and I had made the final of the Copa Real Federación Española de Fútbol. But then my playmaker got injured and form turned around for the worse. Losing the final and losing 4 league games in a row saw me called before the board. I promised things would look better in a month so I have a month and need to get the team playing well again. I assume that’s for the loan affiliates and the first team option ones where they state playing in the same division terminates the affiliation. This one seems locked in as a long-term deal and I can’t cancel it either. Seems eerily similar to the ones Spanish clubs have with their B Teams. Neo_Geo
Took my FM23 save over which means no achievements but I liked my start with Nuneaton Boro and didn't want to start over again in England First intake preview looks half decent. Found my first annoyance with this version, they frequency and severity of goalkeeper injuries is insane. Lost my first choice keeper for 7 weeks for a broken hand attempting to catch the ball and then my back-up keeper is out for 10 weeks with a broken lower arm trying to catch the ball......how the hell do you break (not just fracture) your lower arm trying to catch a ball unless you arms are made out of paper.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Japan Honda FC Season 1 - J3 League Objectives: Stay up and get a youth intake set up Season Review So FC Honda, who in real life neve get promoted from J4 as it would mean they have to lose their corporate ownership, were the team promoted to J3. So in this universe they're called Machida Corriente and have new owners (there was a takeover halfway through the season as well). It's just easier to refer to them as FC Honda though, so i will. Well, we met the league objectives quite easily in the end. A really good start meant that we never had to worry about relegation and instead had our eyes on the promotion play-offs. A win in our final game and we could have made it, but instead we lost and finished just outside. But a successful season nevertheless Finances and Upgrades Japan looks like it might be one of the easier countries for this challenge as the money is really good. So we start with no junior coaching or youth intake but plenty of money for the board to set one up. And they did - I got two junior coaching upgrades and 3 youth intake through the season Youth So we got a first youth intake! it's a half star poor intake apparently, but it actually looked pretty good to me, so that maybe a little bug Only one elite talent in the intake but he looks good! Next Season overall, a successful first season. But there's storm clouds on the horizon - a lot of the first team squad don't like me and won't sign new contracts. there's a good few of them with only 12 months remaining.... Again, the goal is gonna be keep my job, stay up, get some more youngsters in

Virtual Male
Season 1 2024/25 Manager Profile - Competitions - Finances Competitions Vanarama National League North - With a squad of 14 players and newly promoted my hopes weren't too high, fortunately we managed to avoid many injuries and my backup keeper only had to play outfield twice so it went pretty well really. A solid 13th place finish and in the play-off race for most of the season leaves me very positive for nest year when I can actually make subs, only missed the leagues goalscoring record by 3 goals but we conceded far too many, hopefully I can sort my defence out for next season. English FA Trophy - Knocked out in the 3rd round, didn't prioritise either of the cup competitions at all. English FA Cup - 3rd qualifying round, again didn't really pay much attention to the cups' Squad - Plenty of options for rotation as you can see . I think most of the defensive struggles were down to me messing with the tactics all season and we just stopped scoring in the last half dozen games or so but the players were on the beach by then and they deserved it to be fair, far too many minutes for some players. Oliver Mehew - 43 G/A in 46 league games as my CAM, he dug the team out of trouble in more than a couple of games this season. I'm not expecting the same output next year and he shouldn't have to be playing every minute of every game so he'll still have legs come the end of the year. Youth Intake - I forgot to grab a screenshot of the preview, it was 'excellent' but there wasn't any way to not be improving the first XI really. Lots of potential, a few half decent personalities and some players that could do a job in the first team and be at the right level all ready. Mathew Hughes (2025YP6) - Looks to be the star of the intake, has the ability to be in the team already. I don't know if they'll be much growth given we're part time and his personality is woeful but fingers crossed. Transfers & Finances - The outs were all arranged from before I came in at the start of the season. The money isn't looking great, lost about £100k over the season but should be able to put the club back in the black with an extensive pre-season. No worries so far. Other Managed to convince the board to send me for my first Coaching Badge, they wouldn't even consider anything else which given the club being in debt is fair enough I suppose. Popular Post fries
Vanarama National League South 2024/25 (season 1) Season Summary A new FM, and thus a new Youth Academy Challenge. I started with Dulwich Hamlet, and as I wrote earlier we started out very well. I employed a 5-4-1 tactic with a lonely striker, four central midfielders, and attacking fullbacks. After 22 games we had won incredible 19 games and lost 3. We was a clear number 1 in the league. But a bad form in December and in February meant that we threw away the first position. In the end, we managed to get the 3rd position and a play off spot for promotion. A very good first season! In the playoff semi final we were up against Southend, who we beat two times earlier in the season. The game started badly with a goal to Southend. But we later scored 3 and secured a spot in the play off final. The final was against Aldershot who have played great throughout the season with 100 points. The match started badly once again with an own goal after just two minutes. But once again we managed to come back and win the game. This time I was a bit lucky. Aldershot played well and eventually had a disallowed goal in the end. The most important player in my success must be Mills. He scored 48 goals in the season! From the player stats you can see how my chances are created. The ball goes wide to my full backs who centers the ball to Mills that scores. Both my fullbacks, Scarlett and Binnom-Williams had 16 assists this season. A few players have developed very well this season. My goalkeeper Lakin went from 3 stars two 4.5 stars and two players from the intake of the holiday years, Wightwick and Eze went from 2 and 1 stars respectively, to 5 and 3 stars. The 17-year-old players are from the 2024 intake while the 16-year-olds are from this season. Wigthwick is on paper my best player now, but he needs to step up his performances. He also does not want to renew his contract... The first youth intake preview looked good with 5 stars. The intake gave me a lot of players with 5-star potential. But it is very hard to judge who will make it. I had no great personalities but a few bad ones. Baxter, Proctor, Stanton, and Morrow got game time in the remaining games of the season. Morrow did well with 3 goals from freekicks but Proctor is closest to being a starter. No transfers of significance. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade both my junior coaching and youth recruitment twice this season. The finances look great, so I hope we can afford it in the long run. I also managed to gain a few badges and I am currently studying for the national A license. Next season Next season is going to be difficult. I just hope I can develop a few of my youngsters and manage to not get relegated. Edited October 21, 2023 by fries

Popular Post WhiteCat33
FM23 Barbados YAC: Road View FC 2041 Season 19 – BFA Digicel Premier League Spoiler Start Post | Season 1 |Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 |Season 7 | Season 8 | Season 9 | Season 10 |Season 11 |Season 12 | Season 13 |Season 14 | Season 15 | Season 16 |Season 17 | Season 18 | Introduction: It's exciting to see everyone's new save destinations - especially Japan! I however have unfinished business in the Caribbean and plan to continue on in FM23 to see how far I can take the island nation. As a quick recap for anyone new: I started in the 3rd tier of Barbados in the Caribbean. While it is very easy to get to the top-flight of Barbados due to their being no domestic money going professional is a mammoth task. While there is money in the continental competition, its nothing like you're used to in Europe. However, to even qualify for the North American Champions League (NACL) from Barbados you have to win the Cup competition. Unfortunately, even though within 5 seasons we were winning the domestic league, we always seemed to flub it in the cup only winning it about 1 in 3 seasons. The real financing came from a miraculous poaching by Arsenal of a CD, whose 5% transfer clause we sold for close to $1M USD, which pushed us over the line going professional in 2036. Right now, the save is really taking off as we have fully consolidated Barbados and are finally making headway in the NACL Caribbean Stage. Financially the club is secure, but not gaining money and our facilities are still very poor but we have a newish 9k stadium that generates solid gate receipts. League Performance: Champion Cup Performance: Champion This was a showdown between the two best strikers in Barbados. Their Striker Sheran Marquez is a speed demon (16-17 on all 3 attributes) who can dribble and with 2 of our 3 CBs injured he capitalized on our defensive mistakes to get behind for two tap-in goals to put us down 2-1. But then our Captain and Star Player Carrillo stepped up and found the equalizer in the 85’ and the winner in the 111’ for his hat trick and 33rd goal in just 15 games this season. He secures us the ever valuable NACL berth for 2 years from now. North American Champions League: The draw was extremely kind to us with 0 Jamaican teams (which are the best in the Caribbean). And with our stronger offense we dominated our group: This advances us to a Caribbean Playoff where we face off against Mount Pleasant of Jamaica in a 2-Leg Tie. We had a great first game in Jamaica winning 3-2 with Carrillo recording a brace. The home match started off great with my playmaker converting an early penalty. However, they clawed back to win the game 2-1 to bring the legs level at 4-4. Lucky for us the NACL has Away goals so we advance for the first time to the NACL group stage! Spoiler Group Stage Draw: Unfortunately, our luck didn't continue with this draw as we got a Mexican side Santos Laguna. That will be a difficult match. It isn't until February, so this will be part of next season's update. Reserve & U18s: We win these leagues year in and out now. Squad: Formation I play a 3-5-2 formation focusing play up the middle with a flat 3 CM set-up. I'm no tactical genius, but this has worked well for me against the weaker domestic opposition. I tone it down with other variants when I play harder Continental matches. Team I created for myself a CA Calculator to assess the strength of my squad. This makes as close an approximation of CA as I can calculate without the editor. The Category Ratings take the highlighted attributes for a specified role and standardizes the max points to 100. Thus, if you take Carrillo as an example, he has 64 of the 100 max points for a Pressing Forward on Attack, which means an average of ~13 across all highlighted attributes. Star Players: Christian Carrillo: Striker. This man is the reason I will play this save till the end. He is a generational star striker for this region. He is only 22 and we have him signed for 4 more seasons (2+2 extension) and he is still slowly improving. Spoiler Darico Morris: Goalkeeper Spoiler Clive Jones: Striker Spoiler Adrian Headley: RWB Spoiler Crutis Croney: CM-D Spoiler Best XI: FM Screenshots: Spoiler All Time Best XI Season Best XI Excel Tables: I track the players still currently at the club automatically in the CA Calculator so they appear here. Head Coach: Club Improvements: None, but here are the facilities Youth Academy: HOYD: Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: Finally we are returning to a good intake! Top 3 Players: Ramario Nurse: Without the speed he will be a good domestic 3rd choice striker. However, if he actually pushes that potential [Which is over 120 PA if jugged correctly as that's where my 5* striker is] he could become something special. Ackeel Hoyte: I think I found my Advanced Forward. I can work with bad mentals and 10 finishing especially if I can get +2-3 on the speed variables. My Star Striker Carrillo is left-footed so this is perfect. \ Elsid Sargeant: Hopefully this CB develops better than the one's we've had recently. Unfortuante he's lacking in the Mentals & Personality, so it's an outside chance. Excel Tables: I like using Excel to track my Youth Academy progress. I use the same CA Calculator above for the full team and it seems the formula really likes Sargeant as a playmaker (passing & teamwork), so perhaps I can have a good BPD in him if he develops. The second excel screenshot is tracking this CA as well as personality & nationality over time. I cram a lot of tables into this screenshot. The part I haven't finished (is adding in the Position part of the Top 5 CA Intake Players. I've also begun tracking Determination but haven't settled on how to visualize it. For those new to my story, the past few years we have been biting our teeth as a new HOYD learns Barbados. You can see not only did we lose CA in the intakes (on average) the past few years, but also saw a massive drop in determination to go along with it. If I get the desire to "play" in excel again I might make something to summarize the Top 5 Personalities + Professional & Ambitious personality groups. Barbados National Team: Barbados just missed out on qualifying for the World Cup Qualifiers last year losing 1-0 to Jamaica across 2 legs. Therefore, this year they will play all friendlies. They picked mostly easy games for themselves and lost the only one against a legitimate competition. Road View Internationals: Same CA Calculator Spreadsheet prints out the International & Club performance for all players who have at least 1 Main or Youth CAP. Downside is this misses players who have just a "U23 Appearance" tag by their name, but haven't logged the statistical U20/U21 appearance. This is why my USA player Carrillo isn't in the tables. Barbados Main: Barbados Youth: Barbadian’s Around the World: I come back and edit/add this after January 1st once the USA teams generate their Youth Intakes. As Barbados is a very rare nationality in other nations (especially without England loaded) I find it interesting to see the 2-5 generated each year abroad. Mahzun_Savas
Spoiler Apparently this is a poor intake, lol. It certainly seems to be an excellent intake to me.
Mahzun_Savas
I survived, only just, the first season as manage of Toledo. The expectations were high, finishing in the playoff spots, and I failed dismally. After losing the last game of the season to finish 11th I was called into my second board meeting of the season to discuss my future. I managed to talk my way out of a sacking and will be manager for a second season. League Table Spoiler Copa Real Federación Española de Fútbol A highlight of the season was making the final of the Copa Real Federación Española de Fútbol but it ended in a low light when we were thrashed in the final 3-0. Spoiler Best Players My best player was undoubtedly my striker Manu Gavilan who scored 22 goals and 5 assists in 33 league games. However he is 33 and I might not be able to rely him as much next season. Spoiler Other excellent players were my full back Carlos Moreno and David Luna as well as midfielder Arturo Segado. Attacking midfielder Pepe Delgado topped the assists with 9 assist along with 6 goals. Youth Intake My youth intake was excellent with 4 elite talents, although it was described as a poor intake. The best player I believe to be striker Carlos Hernandez although his personality is not great. Spoiler Next season I need to improve my performance as manager markedly otherwise I will not survive as manager. I imagine that expectations will be the same, make the playoffs. The defence is going to be weakened as I will lose two starting CBs, one to retirement and one who is leaving on the free transfer as his contract is ending. Hopefully the rest of the squad will stay around and some of the youngsters will make an impact.

HanziZoloman
vor 5 Stunden schrieb WhiteCat33: It's exciting to see everyone's new save destinations - especially Japan! Great @WhiteCat33 you're not the only one with unfinished business! Congrats and keep going the Earl wishes you a good hand in all decisions. btw how old is your manager profile now? The Earl is almost 70 and he won't work another 10 years I think. @fries our long term rivals no friendly generates more cash! They beat us up for years! Strong first season congrats vor 10 Stunden schrieb fries: new FM, and thus a new Youth Academy Challenge. Mahzun_Savas
I thought I had survived but it was not to be, another board meeting called and this one I could not talk my way out of, so I have been sacked as manager of Toledo.

Might be, I remember previous FMs did this although I did not play FM23 to know if it was the same.

Popular Post DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2024/25 Macclesfield I was rather excited after seeing the preview: The intake was excellent with at least five players going straight into the first team squad.
