He was Inconsistent when he started, but mentoring and success has eliminated the negative though he hasn't gained the positive. He also has light positive Big matches. I'm pretty sure it's the two player-traits of "Tries long range passes" + "Tries Killer Balls" combined with in my tactics having selected "Counter". Those 3 together with him actually being smart, got him to attempt such a wild ball in the hope of catching the opposition on a break all the way down the field. I saw multiple highlights with my CDs in a very similar situation and their decision was always to kick it out for a corner or if possible a throw because they knew they sucked at passing. He unfortunately for me is actually a good player, so thought he could do something he really couldn't. Any other season he would have been substituted earlier as he was on a yellow and had a mediocre game, but of course this year my star WB-R R Holder i hyped up last year damaged his Achillies on the first day of pre-season putting him out for 4+ Months after he was insturmental in our Caribbean Phase campaign. He is just now returning to training, but is weeks away from any match action. This meant I either played R Hoyte, a pure attacking Right Winger, or one of the 2 16 year-olds I got in the last intake. While of course it's infuriating in the moment, why I keep coming back to this challenge is the fact that you actually have these kinds of dificult managerial decisions in this challenge especially in tiny nations as I can't sign free Colombian children to have a bench full of perfect substitutes to fulfill any issue. An ugly goal like that, knowing you could've done it in a second leg.. But you're so close! Surely in the next season or two it should stick! I'll detail it in my write-up when I finish the season (as I did full commentary for these NACL games), but every single one of those earlier round victories were absolute miracles that we won. Monterrey for example had won the NACL the past 3 seasons. We had literally everything roll our way with Away Goal advantage, botched penalties by the opposition, clutch VAR decisions both to allow our goals and disallow ours. It was a true fairy-tale run. What is so crushing here is the Atlas team is the one we should have had a realistic chance of beating, and its the only one where we didn't have the Barbados Island Magic to create something truly spectacular on the return leg. For if we can do it again: it will (as always) depend on if we can discover a new wonder-talent in our intakes. In particular, we only have 2 more seasons on our most important player: Emanuele Mastrantoni the unbelievable Italian Segundo Volante who is the true engine of our midfield and irreplicable. As always in the Caribbean I will play him until he decides to retire, so maybe I'll get him to 36. Thankfully everyone retires from the national team around 30, so it's easier to keep them fit in the later years.

Hidden Attribute Revealer - Google Sheets. I'll attach a Blank version of my CA Calculator to this post as well as my view that's required to export the data. Let me know if you have any issues. I'll put the HPA portion here first in spoilers for those who don't want to know these things: Reveal hidden contents The sheet I linked to does the full calculation including the number of special case situations in the game. I however am busy and just want a rough estimate of the HAs, so ignored the cases and just did a very simple combination of the Personality + Media Handling. In combining the two I take the higher number of Personality or Media Handling to set a new range for each variable. I then just calculate the average of the range and that is what I display in the spreadsheet. I did very basic Highlights to help me with mentorship decisions for players. Like for example Z. Mars is a pretty decent mentor for Newgen players who show up and I want to just get moderate Professionalism and good Pressure, Temperament and Loyalty. The other part I finally finished was completing all the Positions & Roles available in FM23 [so no new IFB]. Each of these numbers is the average of all flat ratings of the highlighted attributes. I don't weight the Green vs Blue highlighting, and I standardized all position ratings out of 100. Ideal Role uses the Assistant Manager's assessment of a players best position and then displays the highest score role in that position. Using Carrillo as an example, his 64 means he averages 12.8 / 20 for all highlighted attributes for the Pressing Forward - Attack. Squad: For my squad updates even though I've added these and use them myself I don't see the need displaying them here in the season review. Transfers: We have started selling a few of our extra Strikers and such to other clubs or loaning them out for small gains. Really though I tend to just hoard player in the Carribbean especially if they are good enough to be rotational depth. Then the other thing that I totally forgot happens is FIFA PAYS YOU FOR YOUR PLAYERS IN THE WORLD CUP! Usually by the time you have players at that level money is irrelevant and you don't notice it happening, but we got a magical surprise of $3 Million Dollars appearing in our accounts once the cup ended! Of course, that is when the board decided to do a takeover, so it took a while to spend the money: What's even better here is the Board is footing the bill completely for the stadium expansion by investing the exact amount required into the club! This way I was able to get a Youth Facility upgrade without any pushback Youth Academy: HOYD: Because Barbados doesn't generate high quality staff members I like to find young recently retired players who want to become HOYD and hire them as U18 coaches. As long as I can keep Solomon Frimpong, I think we'll keep in the top half of the table anyway. Thankfully, he's actually quite happy and signed another deal too. I've also made him captain so you might as well change our name from Tranent to Frimpong FC! We got to the fifth round of the cup again - but we didn't draw Hibs this time, but instead the other side of Edinburgh in Hearts. A 2-1 loss knocked us out at the stage we seem to be getting to every year, so it's not too disheartening. More just where we'd expect to be every year. Youth Intake: To match the very mid season, we get a very mid youth intake. Nothing much to really say here either! Little round up here - Youth Setup costs are still absolutely killing us and we need to get promoted in the next couple of years to be able to offset the costs I think. That, or selling Frimpong as his value is getting up to the £2m mark. He managed a club record 34 goals this season and is going from strength to strength, so to sell him would be to somewhat admit defeat as we're completely reliant on him. Could be some very difficult decisions ahead if we don't get promoted. 2042/43 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Championship So I may have got a bit excited again and not taken a screenshot pre-playoffs, but I'm hoping an exception can be made again because... WE'RE IN THE PREMIERSHIP!! I'd mentioned a couple of my posts ago that the playoffs were so insanely difficult as it's literally a gauntlet. It was pretty clear after the first 13 or 14 games that barring a major collapse, we were to find ourselves there again. So essentially, I tried my best to make sure there was enough rotation, players getting more than enough rest and withdrawing them from international's they didn't need to be in (that was a particular nervous move!). I've spent the last few posts fanboying over my striker Solomon Frimpong, trying to explain just how important he is to this side. So on a related note, how did we get through the playoff gauntlet? We scored 13 goals in the playoffs over 6 games, Frimpong getting 9 of them. He achieved yet another 30 goal season overall and played less games in the regular season than previous years. His quality will be sorely needed in the Premiership as he'll most definitely be the difference in us remaining in the division for more than one year. We're losing our current midfield 3 of Runciman (DM), Ferguson (MC) and Pyper (MC). I agreed the transfers of these 3 in January, but asked for them to be done at the end of the season as I was trying to peak at the end of the season and without them, we probably wouldn't be promoted. All have 50% sell on fee clauses on their deals, but all were extremely unhappy about not being allowed to move so I took the calculated risk. On more positive news, with the promotion we've turned professional: Very curious how our younger players will do now, but if we do go down I'm a bit cautious of the board reverting the change. All players have signed new full time deals (including Frimpong to another new 5 year deal!!) and hopefully the finances from the Premiership will be enough to stabilise our Youth Setup costs. Before the youth intake though, a short round up of the cup competitions this year: Yeah we got knocked out of the ViaPlay cup to Hearts, the Scottish Cup to Motherwell and the SPFL Trust Trophy all on penalty shoot-outs. When the playoff final got to extra time, I prayed for no penalties because I'm not sure I'd still have a PC after it if we lost again. Youth Intake: Conner Sneddon went immediately into our first 11 as our best defender. Which says a lot of how top heavy I am, but my god was that an absolute blessing! Even the intake itself was hugely attack minded, but getting a starting player at the business end of the season means there'll be no complaining from me! A little look at Sneddon: I'm hoping I can get him developed properly as a ball playing defender, as I imagine a lot of my build up play will go through him. Curiously, right in the end of the season, our chairperson is looking to step aside. All of the noise is about a local investor or board member taking over, so likely nothing "exciting". I'll also be reducing the size of this round-up below moving forward before it gets a bit too big!
Popular Post carlowsaint19
Turkish Super League: Update for Seasons 4 to 7 Season 27/28 - Finished 5th (media expected 18th). Reached semi final in Cup. Youth intake was amazing with 8 "5 star" potential players, but quite poor personalities for most. 3 players have become important first team players in recent years (Camurdas, Kocak, E Yasa). Had thought Gedik was the real star of the intake but didn't amount to much. Gala went into Administration, with over 200m in debts, sadly they seemed to come out of it within a few days and still had highest wage bill and continued to dominate the league! Sold 1 non-regen defender for 2.2m which felt like great value and helped keep finances from getting too deep in the red. Season 28/29 - Finished 9th (media expectation was 16th). Cup sixth round. Europa League lost to Atalanta in qualifiers. So generally not the best season vs my own expectation. Youth Intake..... THE BEST PLAYER I may have ever had out of youth intake in 1'000s of hours playing FM. Ali Uckan was my best player from the day he arrived as a 15 year old, and instantly showed it on the pitch. Season 29/30 - Finished 6th (media expectation was 12th). Cup fifth round. No Europe. An improvement but had hoped to get back into EL. We had been flying early on but numerous injuries including my amazing star 16 year old Ali Uckan injuring his cruciate , leading to me lose the last 4 league games. Ali also considers himself too good for the club and has basically wanted to leave since he was 15! (thank god for 3 year optional club extension) Youth Intake..... While its 2.5 stars, at least a few squad players will come from it with Ackay and Kera both rotational options in the team now. I had the top 2 in the NextGen awards with Ali Uckan coming 2nd to C Akgul who also wants to leave at this point for a better standard. Sold my original star CM and captain for 4.7m as he wouldn't sign a new contract with wage restrictions at the club, felt it was money considering and can help me get some improvements off the board. Popular Post carlowsaint19
Season Updates 8 to 10 Season 8 - 2030/2031: Finished 5th (media expectation 11th) and 6th round in Turkish Cup. Delighted to have a chance to get back into Europe, but have to start in round 1 of qualifiers in the next season. As we were missing our star forward for most of the campaign due to his knee injury from the end of last season, I was really happy to see us get comfortably into fifth. Even played entire u17 team for the last few games to give them some experience since we had cemented 5th. Urhan has continue to score goals for me and stepped up with the loss of Ali early in the campaign. Youth Intake: A 4.5 star intake with Akar Sevgi being the standout player and was moved straight into the first team, sadly I forgot to take a snip of him at the time but will show him later on. Transfers: Sold my starting left back for 8.5m rising to 11m with a 50% next sale profit. He had a 9m release clause, so was pretty delighted with this, and left back was a spot where I felt comfortable with another regen looking good for the role. Season 9 - 2031/2032: Finished 4th (media expectation 9th) and lost to Besiktas is the cup final. Made it to the 4th round of qualifiers but was well beaten over two legs by Valencia, i had thought my 4th place finish would see me automatically in the group stage of the Euopa League, but nope. Back in the 1st round qualifiers again! Still feels like there is a big gap with us and the big three, with their wage bills still being 10 times + mine. Including a 6-0 home defeat to Besiktas this season. Star man Ali won the NextGen, Turkish Super League top scorer, and European Golden Boy - have included a snip at 18 below. However he still has no interest in remaining at the club and is rightly saying he is too good for us. Youth Intake: Another 4.5 star intake with a standout goalkeeper being the main callout - I had been hoping for a goalkeeper in each of the last 3 or 4 intakes as I still have been playing with the same GK since starting out this save 9 seasons ago. Transfers: Had to sell star man Cagri Akgul as he refused to sign a new deal, and then moved to Saudi Arabia for potentially 12.25m, I was trying to the very end to get him to resign but he just had no interest and is a massive loss to the team having twice come 1st in NextGen. Season 10 - 2032/2033: Finished 3rd (media expectation 6th) and reached semi final in the cup. Had a fantastic run in the Europa League going all the way from the 1st qualifiers to the quarter final where we lost to Lazio on penalties First time in the league we have surpassed any of the big three and despite losing key players last summer the general quality of the squad is looking really competitive. Youth Intake: Another 4.5 star intake with a a few wingers and a CB who looks really good but has a Fickle personality. The CB will likely be an important player in the coming years as its an area which we look light on quality. Transfers: My best player to date Ali U left with only one year remaining on his contract- sold to Porto for 16m and 50% profit of next sale. Was happy to not having to sell him to one of the Turkish giants at least, and will go down as by far our best player to date. In his first season with Porto he scored 22 league goals but seems to have fallen away a little since. 2nd sale was Niyasi who was a good player but the money was too good to turn down for a player who would have been out of the starting 11 within the next few months. Popular Post DrJones
Oriental Dragon 2030/31 What a season for the dragons! We´ve managed to get promoted to the premier division, but what a battle it was. In the last game of the regular season we faced 3rd placed Vizela away who were two points ahead at the playoff-spot. We somehow won it due to amazing goalkeeping and got the chance to face Mafra from the first division. The first game was away at their place and we where the better team but they had a 2-1 lead to the 93rd minute when we finally equalized. In the home game we where much better and Quan Zheng 29C had the game of his life and sealed the deal. We will struggle in the premier division for sure, especially when our best defender Yao Jiapeng refuses to renew his contract and will leave on a free transfer at the end of this season. Squad There will be big changes in the squad for the upcoming season, many of the older guys on the bench will leave and some new youngsters will take their spot. Key players This guy got us promoted in the end, he scored the winning goal against Vizela and one goal in each game against Mafra in the playoff. The absolute star of this team, now when we´re promoted I think we can hold on to him for another season. Inter and Roma are watching him closely. The greatest chinese player at the team and he will have to work his ass off next season. Youth Intake History

Daddy
2026/27 Midseason Update - Belgian Third Tier - Season 3 Right where we expected to be. I think we underperform a little though. The defense is pretty thin so can be a bit shaky there and give up some weak goals, and we don't cash in on a lot of opportunities created. That said the difference is probably just a few points and since we're not fighting for promotion or relegation it really doesn't make a difference. Well, the three areas that are looking like Elite prospects are in areas of need, This is an intake I'm looking forward to. This will help with the overall project I'm working towards with the club going semi-professional. I think this intake will fill the gaps. I'll have a full roster and staff at semi-pro contracts and we can see what the finances are like and if it can be feasible for long term

Popular Post dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 5 (2028/29) League 1 An unexpected promotion! We did ok to start with, went on a very good mid-season run, and ran away with it as the other teams faltered. I am dreading the next season in the Championship, but let’s see what happens. Players Our attack went up a level thanks to the emergence of Conner Reynolds 02b (AMRL), and Andrew Macrae (ST) probably had his last full-strength season with a hefty 27 goals before he ages out of the team. Youth intake (preview) Very good again, and we got our first true star talent, not sure I’ve ever had a 4* CA player in an intake, even after all these youth challenges. So meet Tony Jukes 05a (ST), who probably won’t be with us for long but already scored a hat-trick in his third game for the club. The only downside is that personalities are a bit rubbish, again - I definitely need to get a new HOYD. Facilities A game away at Rangers in the cup gave us a chance to upgrade training facilities, though I was hoping it would cost less than £750k… No transfers but plenty of loans out. Any other save that would be no big deal, but it ended our 252 Game Unbeaten Streak! I'll have to play until 2071 to have any chance of setting a new record... What is also notable this season is that the new club stadiums are bringing funds for some better squads, with Weymouth Wales doing the best right now at building a balanced team. BDFSP have some great star attacking players, but failed to sign any good GKs and have poor defenders so will need some help to plug that hole. Raheim Highland from our last year intake is actually looking half decent, so hopefully loans will work for his development next year when he signs a professional contract. Cup Performance: North American Champions League: Considering my painful 1-0 defeat in the NACL made the post of the day yesterday, I think most of you know how this competition ended. If you need another look at FM crushing dreams: My Post. The other Caribbean Zone: We won our first 3 games convincingly so that we had secured qualification by the 4th game against Defense Force. Because its 2 yellows = suspension, I then pulled any card-carrying players for the final game and our weakened squad just managed a 1-1 draw in our final game. Caribbean Playoff: In Jamaica Clark got a 4' goal to give us the lead, and in a game where we totally dominated them we couldn't manage to add to his tally. Hosting them in Barbados we saw the same story play out with a 5' goal from Clark. Caribbean Zone Matches & Friendlies I haven't talked about the friendlies much, but with the super short 22 game seasons & the scheduling of the NACL these are a crucial part of our season. From the End of the season to the start of preseason we played 19 friendlies! With our Full 3* Reputation any clubs Touring North America during their preseasons will agree to come to Barbados. This year I went for an eclectic mix of foreign opponents with CFR Cluj, Ulsan, Club Brugge (2x), Al-Itthiad, SC Freiburg, Antwerp, Charlotte FC (2x), & Besiktas. We lose about 20-50k per friendly, but with 15M in the bank money is no longer an issue at the club. While I only have North American leagues active, I made sure to check the boxes for International Players & clubs in continental competitions, so all the European teams & Ulsan were full of players, albeit not fully fit / training properly. The Saudi / UAE / Qatari clubs tend to only have 8-10 players. Spoiler NACL 2nd Round We Drew Monterrey who are the 3x defending Champions of the NACL, and 19x (14x in the save) Winners. Headline: Road View, down 4-1 to champions Monterrey 5 minutes into the 2nd Leg, pull off a miraculous 3 goal comeback to force the penalty shootout which they win! Spoiler Monterrey Leg 1 Away in Mexico They get their first goal deservedly, but we are holding our own in the game. It looked like they would have a second, but our high-line defense worked perfectly pulling both their strikers offsides so it was disallowed. Then just before halftime our new striker Clark pulled off a perfect first-time placed shot into the far corner past their goalkeeper to get us the equalizer. They find a true 2nd goal in the 55’ off a defensive mistake by us by failing to clear a loose ball in the box by our young CD. Even though my players had low ratings we were holding strong until the 83’ when we let in a near post corner. In the closing seconds we had a golden opportunity for a 2nd, but my AML is pretty poor and he failed to stay onside to convert a go-ahead goal. Considering how things went in Mexico last season with Santos Laguna 3-1 against the NACL back-to-back champion is a good result. Leg 2 Home in Barbados Well, we didn’t have a good start this time with them scoring in the first 4 minutes. However, we bounced back quickly with our reply by Clark in the 19’.Let’s go! We then started gaining our footing and in the 33’ our star WB-L A Lloyd crossed to his “older brother” D Lloyd AM-R who headed it from the top of the 18 in to give us the lead 2-1 in the match and we hold it to end a fantastic first half. I apparently had a stirring halftime talk as from the kickoff we played it to the wide striker D Lloyd who cut inside and got himself a brace just 20 seconds into the half bringing us level 4-4 on Aggregate! We then continued strong for the entire second half with the vast majority of the chances, but unfortunately it ends level 4-4 so we are to the dreaded penalties. Can we do it!?! Up first is Clark or striker and he converts and then our GK Atkins comes up huge with a 1st round stop! Can we keep ahead!? Our first 4 all convert and then its up to their 4th taker. He converts, and it goes to our 5th taker who I set as D Lloyd our veteran (31) striker whose brace got us to penalties. Can he become a legend slaying the giant? Shoots left and off the side post and in just passed the GKs fingers!! We advance! This is hands down the biggest upset we have accomplished all save. I am absolutely shocked. GOALS: https://imgur.com/a/mC95TST ; Match Reports NACL Quarter Final Next up was another fantastic side in America, who while haven't won the NACL recently, have recorded 15 Finals appearances in my save winning 9. Headline: Road View blow a 2-0 lead in the final 10 minutes in Mexico, to mount yet another 3-goal comeback in the return leg to win the tie! Spoiler 1st Leg in Mexico I am not complaining, but Clark loves to score from kickoff. This time in the Stadio Azteca he scored in 21 seconds, just a hair slower than his last game in the NACL. Absolutely unbelievable form. Now comes the real challenge, holding this lead. They put lots of pressure on us, but we are getting a chance here in there. In the 23’ our AML again had a chance to score, but his weakness was on full display as the goalkeeper easily saved his 1v1. Even with 1.3 xG we held firm and went into halftime with that 1-0 lead. Another big halftime team talk sees us take it to them to start the half with a broken corner play seeing my CB-L score a blistering long shot from 20 yards out into the top corner. No idea where that came from considering he has 2 long shot, but we are up 2-0 in Mexico in the 51’. And we held and held against a never ending onslaught from America until the 80’ when they finally broke down our defenses and scored and then in the 84’ they hit us again to dash all hopes of a surprise upset in Mexico. Their pressure on us became absolutely insane and we just didn’t have the skill to break their ultra high press and they found a third in the 88’. Awful defensive collapse for us here at the massive 77k capacity stadium. 2nd Leg in Barbados First half we did our best. I noticed early weren’t creating enough chances to break through their packed in defense so I moved my wide strikers into true central strikers in a 3-4-3. Unfortunately, due to my star WB-R being out all season with an Achillies injury I have my DM R Hoyte covering as WB-R and he got totally overrun by their midfielders and in the 20’ he left his man open who created a goal for the visitors. I adjusted to an asymmetrical with the STCR moving back to AMR and that seemed to do the trick of providing him cover while also putting more pressure in the box with an additional striker. We were rewarded in the 44’ with a combination up the right wing got our poacher Clark who had the inches he needed to thread the needle and get us a goal back! I was happy going into halftime as we were putting pressure on them. I made the halftime change of replacing our AML move STCL with Nurse to get all our best goalscorers on the pitch. I was rewarded in the 60’ with Clark dropping deep to tackle their CM (injuring him in the process) and starting a vicious counter attack that found D Lloyd on the touchline who crossed the ball in to find Nurse’s head on the back post to get us the second goal! Now if we can hold defensively we advance on aggregate. Can we avoid the collapse!? With so much to play I don’t change from our more aggressive setup as I don’t want the match momentum to shift away from us like in Mexico. I’m so glad I did as the classic combination of D Lloyd & R Nurse struck again in an identical short cross from inside the box to a back post header just 6 minutes later to get us ahead! They turn up the pressure now and I slowly transition to game management always warry of how quickly they can turn the tide. And even with some atrocious passes giving them counter attacks we did it!!! This one was a tactical victory in the end (even with my early formation mis-steps). GOALS: https://imgur.com/a/yyyCdqK ; Match Report NACL Semi-Final We then were rewarded with another tough Liga MX side in Tigres de la Uanl. Unlike the other two, they have failed to win a NACL in our save but have made it to 4 Finals. Headline: Road View yet again fail defensively in Mexico, but backup GK leads the Bajan Magic in what is becoming a trademark comeback team on home soil! Spoiler Tigres Away in Mexico Disastrous start with a conceded 9’ goal off a poor clearance by our CBs and again our central CD ***s up and blows a header and lets their loan striker in 1v1 to goal and we are down 2-0 in the span of 12 minutes. We are having a very off night in Mexico, and even with changes and more cautious positioning we go 3 down just after halftime. I decide then to go for ou 3-4-3 Assym with Nurse as a 2nd striker. It takes a while but we claw back a goal in the 68’ with D Lloyd finding Clark in the box who finally finishes a shot to take both of them off their 6.2 ratings. Still was a very poor game in Mexico, but that seems to be a theme with this NACL campaign. Unlike previous games though, this one wasn’t due to being absolutely clobbered but rather direct defensive mistakes that gave them goals. I’m optimistic for Barbados. In-between Legs: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I rested my entire starting XI for all but the 1 training session before the match so they got some field practice before the game. And what happens?!? I’m livid. 2nd Leg in Barbados We need 2 goals, but it seems this is a position we excel in. I decide to start off with the 3-4-3 Assym to start Nurse and Clark for the dual threat up top. Things look great in the early going with us creating multiple chances and catching them out of position on the counter. In the 19’ Clark finds his finish assisted by Nurse who dropped deep to give and go to him on a quick break. One down! 20’ our career backup GK Leacock comes up with a huge stop that sees his rating jump from a 6.8 to a 7.1 as he assuredly kept us in the game with his block. And then we are rewarded with starting Nurse in the 27’ with R Hoyte slotting a ball to him near post that he puts passed the GK. Two down!! We keep up the pressure in the first half with multiple close chances that their GK turns away at the final second. Then in the 42’ they get a break on us and a long cross finds an open man on the back post, but he might have been offsides. VAR checks and… HE WAS OFF! Their Goal Disallowed!!! - Halftime – Start of the second half we don’t really change much and wait to see what their adjustment is. Their change is to bring on the striker that made us pay in Mexico. I decide to switch from the Assym to a 3-5-2 with D Lloyd as a CM-A as he can play that position as well. This should help the twin DMs control the midfield better with a third body even if he can’t defend. The entire team is playing great so its hard to decide who to substitute. 81’ they make their final sub and I’m still playing my starting XI. I hold off the sub and begin game management as well as switch to full match from comprehensive as I really need to see who is struggling to decide what sub to make. What do a see? A team of players just playing beautiful football passing through this Mexican opposition who has to resort to persistent fouls to keep us in control. 88’ I make my first sub to switch to a full defensive 3 midfielders and increase the time wasting. We get +3 minutes now. I take a risk and sub out my WBL who is exhausted and the only player below 7.0. Their persistent fouls is working against them as we waste more and more time. AND THE FINAL WISTLE BLOWS AND WE ADVANCE TO OUR FIRST FINAL!! Edit: I want to mention my backup GK got a 7.9 Rating in this match to totally rock his clutch performance here. GOALS: https://imgur.com/a/qRpYAXE ; Match Reports NACL Final Well, we all know how this went. Today's Headline: Heartbreak for Road View as a 105' Error by R Hoyte gifts Atlas the NACL Trophy. Spoiler We start with the regular 3-4-3 Wide with less aggressive midfield (DM-D & WB-S). My hope is to not concede in the first half, then bring on Nurse at halftime as at 33 he doesn’t have the legs for 90 min of top quality attack. First 15 minutes we are under pretty intense pressure but manage to hold them off. We really don’t generate anything meaningful in the first half with only a couple half chances while they certainly have some solid chances. At halftime I’ll be switching to the Assym bringing on Nurse. The star from our side in the first half was the GK, everyone else was just moderate. Again they aren’t a possession team as we held 60% of the possession but didn’t get a single shot on target with it. A stirring halftime talk has lots of Dark green and light green responses, so I’m hoping for a change when we go back out there. We start out with some good chances with my two strikers putting pressure on their backline to open space for the DM coming forward. 55’ they have a corner that would have gone in far post if I hadn’t kept A Lloyd as a backpost marker as he boots it deep. 70’ they’ve made 2 of their 3 changes both adding striking players, and we are still holding them off 0-0 and have our best chance of the game on a counter with Clark’s shot just narrowly getting saved by the GK. Its back and forth from there with us then making a DM-D sub in the 82’ to keep the defensive control (at least I hope). In the 88’ we have by far our best opportunity on a quick break with again Clark’s shot getting blocked. We keep trying but it ends level 0-0 at Full Time. Apparently in the NACL you get an additional sub in added time so now they have made a 4th and he’s their 3rd new attacker so I feel I need to make a CD sub and I’m considering who I want for a 4th. Issue is we don’t have the depth, so I’ll be sacrificing quality of player for fresher legs. I keep my 4th as I plan to use that at the ET-HT. Onto Extra Time! We have a great early chance that is headed onto the crossbar and over. While I like D Lloyd and he has been huge in every other game, tonight he is doing dreadful on a 6.2 so I decide its time to give our young winger a shot N Joseph comes on in the 100’. Then the most absolute defensive disaster occurs in 105+1 that sees a clearance by R Hoyte go right to their DM outside the 18 who heads it back to score. I’m fuming. Now how do we push to get an equalizer to get to our deserved penalties. We start strong with two quality chances that are intercepted at the last possible second, but then that’s it and it ends. We lose 1-0 in Extra Time. Match Report. Goal is in link at top of section. NACL Tournament Tree: Spoiler Squad: CA Player List: Spoiler Excel Graphs: Spoiler Player Highlights: Transfers: Just some Loans this year. Best XI: FM Screenshots: Excel Tables: Spoiler Head Coach: I’ve made the top 20 list of all time greatest North American Managers! This list is topped by the current Monterrey manager who has won the NACL with them 5 times, and once with my nemesis Atlas with a bunch of Liga Mx wins to total a staggering 1851 Points… I’ve got some ground to cover eh? Spoiler Club Improvements: With our success (and consistently sold-out stadium) I finally got the board to agree to build us a new home that looks to be 30k initial capacity, which should be fantastic. I’m building the stadium not for more money from gate receipts but to build reputation to hopefully unluck foreign affiliates (and Youth Facility Upgrades). Our current stadium is about 20 years old now that we expanded from 5k all standing to 15k seats + 5k standing. Spoiler Youth Academy: HOYD: Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: Top 3 Players: Spoiler A Miggins has what could be a decent set up for an AMR-IW if our training improves him significantly. I’ll probably focus train shooting to see if he can then be an offensive threat. I’ll absolutely take another CD! Not fantastic, but could be bang-average if he improves evenly. Shame B Grant doesn’t have any potential Excel Tables: Spoiler Something I plan to look into more is the significant rise recently in Ambitious over Professional personalities. While the last few intakes have been fine generating 10 and higher professionalism players, when you look at the 15 or greater charts Ambition & Amb+Det have been the highest for the past 3 intakes. While the top two players are decent, the rest of the top 5 are a drop down from last year. Thankfully we have potential in our best prospect and the personalities are overall decent this year, but it won't be a record generation that's for sure. While Unambitious is still significant at 1/4 of all players, I have noticed a decreased in Balanced, which was around 23% a few years ago. For next season I plan to finish a % of Intake tracking of the top 20 academy personalities. This will help show trends in rising and falling personalities considering we have so many players now. Barbados National Team: While Barbados made the Gold Cup proper (and naturally messed with my Cup squad), they got bounced hard by Mexico in the Quarter Final Spoiler Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Spoiler Barbados Youth: Spoiler Summary What a heartbreaker of a campaign in the NACL. I would be shocked if we repeated it anytime soon as we are very light now on striker depth with Nurse turning 34 this summer and becoming a more domestic player and a number of our replacements still under 18. But who knows anything is possible! Edited December 3, 2023 by WhiteCat33
Popular Post Brentmeister
Season 7 Summary ____________________ Domestic performances Another comfortable mid-table season saw us again qualify for the second phase group where we scored a disappointing 9 points from 10 games. We fell at the first hurdle in the cup 1/32. I feel like we're getting better but youth players in general are so inconsistent. In one match we'll score 4 goals from an xg of 3 and then struggle to score in the next 3 games with a combined xg of 1.5. Hopefully, with experience, this evens out as we become more comfortable as a top 6/7 side. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Squad review I thought I'd introduce a couple of youngsters who are members of the first-team squad to show the level we're currently operating at. The next Phillipe Albert, Rogier Parmentier has fully established himself as our best BPD. _________________ The next Emile Mpenza, Romain Chaix is on the verge of becoming our starting AF or IF. He struggles with injuries unfortunately so he needs to be handled with care. _________________ Timon Deceuninck is your classic player who rarely puts a foot wrong and scores a 7/10 most weeks. Equally adept at FB as he is at DM, his versatility is a real asset for our squad. _________________ I feel like these players are the absolute ceiling that our club can produce with the current finances and facilities. A squad full of players like this can easily get me into the top 5 and Europe, but to kick on and challenge for honours we desperately need funds and upgrades. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Youth An excellent youth intake saw us sign 6 elite talents, led by promising forward, Niels Deckers. We only have 2 players left from the original squad now and one of those is leaving soon. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Finances Finances are still an issue, we're making a running loss of around 4m a season. Because of this, we were forced to part ways with our star player for the second time in 5 seasons. Christophe Leroy headed to Union SG for around 4m + a 50% sell-on clause. Despite our financial problems and the board insisting I sell players and/or clauses they still haven't negotiated a buyout for this 6 months on. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Other stuff ~ No upgrades ~ We were invited to tour England next pre-season as we're popular there apparently (probably due to me). According to the board, this could raise our profile and in turn, give us some more money. I'll try anything at this point. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Edited December 3, 2023 by Brentmeister

I lost the cup final against Swift so we won't make our European debut yet. Coupe de Luxembourg: We reached our first Cup final but lost against Swift Hesperange in a very balanced final. U19: Our U19 finished 4th in their first season in group 1. First XI| Overall Best XI| Transfers| Youth Intake 2026 I was able to introduce two youth player and i am planning to do the same next season. Older players like Bebé and Mokrani will stay for another season. Veselcic had a nother great season with 14 goals and 7 assists. He was my forward in the first season and is playing on the left wing this season. He is actually too good for Luxembourg league though so I expect they will try to buy him. Molitor 24B was the first academy player to cap for U21 Luxembourg. Finances & Upgrades Profile Club | Finances | Facilities | Club Vision | Supporters Profile No upgrades yet , only a second takover with no real implications. Nation Watch BINGO We had a good bingo year , academy player(s) that reached 50 games, a youth intake player with +45 attributes average but the most surprising was the fact that we had produced the most players who played at the highest level in luxembourg. and that after two seasons. Says maybe more about the other teams' squad management. Next Season A lot will change in the senior squad with integration of many young players who are not actually ready. The only realistic goal is not to be relegated next season.

Brentmeister
How stupid is this? So every season the board gives me a negative transfer budget, this means that during the transfer windows, they take control of my transfers and accept bids for any and all players. So why did they accept this? They accepted a loan bid (that I couldn't cancel) for zero money, so my best youth prospect can go and sit on the bench of a second-division team. It makes no sense. seatdean
AYSA - Season 5 (2028) * Season Overview: After a successful season in local competitions, the challenge this season was to maintain the level and retain the Zimbabwe crown. The season did not start very well, as we suffered a painful defeat against our new biggest rivals, Dynamo Harare. But the team, as usual, went from less to more in its performance to once again win the league and the Zimbabwe Cup. But while we are the kings at the local level, we are still very weak at the continental level, we suffered a defeat in the first round of the CAF Champions League again against a Nigerian club, this time Remo Stars. * Youth Intake: A generation of youth players not as good as the last 2 seasons, at least in terms of number of stars. Although being positive, perhaps it is a sign that the level of our first team has increased considerably. This year's best youth player is forward born in the capital city, Innocent Mupariwa. * Squad: Spoiler * Transfers: Spoiler
Popular Post Daddy
2026/27 Season Review - Belgian third tier - Season 3 It's not as bad as it looks. Once I knew I was safe I tried something different tactically, and it didn't work lol. In a league with no money sacrificing 3-5 positions was worth it if I could have had a breaktrhough. Nothing fancy here, but one of my gambles from the previous season paid off. I'd have liked to see that clause hold longer, but the money was needed now and I didn't think the clause would pay out a whole lot higher. Little facilities bump and a budget of 1.5M at the moment. It'll be negative by the end of the year, but I think my theory about how to succeed in Belgium is correct. At the risk of your immediate success bare down your current budget, and when the top teams call for your players sell lower, but with good clauses. Another strong class. It's definitely because the squad isn't super strong, but they're coming in good enough to get right in the mix. Running a very high turnover model intakes like this are very helpful. 2027/28 Season Preview: I'm expecting a middle table finish and will continue to look out for more good business.
Popular Post tobiahabramson
Macclesfield Town FC Vanarama National League North Season 7 2030-31 Results League: 4th Place League Playoffs: Loss 1-1 (p) v Southport FA Cup Second Qualifying Round: Win 4 -0 v. Lowestoft (Southern Premier League) Third Qualifying Round: Win 2-0 v. Alfreton (Northern Premier League) Fourth Qualifying Round: Loss 1-2 v. Doncaster (National League) FA Trophy Second Round: Loss 2-2 (p) v. Long Eaton Season Overview This save can be characterized as a slow burn of improvement. Another year, another maddeningly inconsistent performance, with our defense letting us down. We finished 4th overall with 89 points, making it to the playoffs in a tough season that saw two teams earning over 100 points. As is becoming Macclesfield's signature move, we had a late season drop, failing to win any of the last 5 games of the season, leaving us to have morale issues into the playoff game. We actually finished number one in xGf, but 9th in xGa. I will be trying a more defensive minded tactic next year, its just unsustainable. We did move our youth prospect GK into the starting role as the old goalkeeper, now 35, was declining and not performing well. The youth did show, but he did an alright job in his first season, and I hope he will continue to develop. This did mean that we had the first time in the save a starting 11 of all players that came through the youth academy. We did have a few wonderful bright spots, with both our starting strikers and attacking midfielder having spectacular seasons. Striker Davide Santagelo averaged a 7.49 and ended the campaign with 30 goals and 9 assists. With a departure last year of a key striker, we had an 18-year old Diego Mustoe step into the role, who performed amazingly with 23 goals and 18 assists. He is getting major interest from Championship-side clubs, but we have him under contract until 2034 and I am hoping to hold them off. our AMC/Backup Striker Robert Bolton also turned in the goals, with 22 goals and 9 assists. Our key defender also continues to progress nicely and is wanted by a few Championship sides. Our finances are actually doing really well as we have the highest attendance in the league (averaging 4,500 fans a game), so I feel I can take a more aggressive approach to keeping players and rejecting offers from higher league teams as I don't need the cash. Youth Intake We had a decent youth intake again. I was particularly excited to see a right back in the elite talents as that has been a particular hole. While his attributes look good, he is 5'1, and I absolutely dread playing short players in a defensive role like that, so I will have to see how he develops and possibly move him up the field. Popular Post libbyshuss
Japan - Honda FC/Haneda Division J1 - 2039 (season 16-ish) Objective: win the champions league! or failing that, get back in the champions league! Season Summary Champions League: so our last two seasons campaigns were ended in the knockout stages by Hiroshima. For the second round we'd been drawn against..... Hiroshima. So, did we get our revenge? Three seasons in a row they've knocked us out!!!! League: well, it didn't seem to have any effect on us in the league. This was the season we'd been threatening for a couple of years. Everything clicked, injuries didn't affect us, morale was high and we ran away with it Those defeats - t mid-season we lost 3 out of 4, and we lost the last 2 games when the league had already been won. We were great! Players The main reason is half this team are rated as star players in the J1 league, they really should be winning titles! it helps we haven't had to sell a player I haven't wanted to for about 5 years now 3 of them all made their Japan debut at the end of the season as well:- Doi 35A, Wada 31D and Mukai 34D. Youth Good job I'm at the stage where I don't have to sell any players and rely on intakes anymore cos this years was a shocker! The actual intake was so shocking I forgot to take a screenshot! No elites and only 2 top talents. I signed them as they had pretty good personalities but I'm not expecting much from them Career So, no Champions League next season so I got at least another 2 seasons to see if I can complete it. The team is getting better and better so I'm surely not far off. Worrying thing is my wage bill now. I'm losing a ton of money now!
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Cardiff Draconians - Season 2032/33 (Season 9) - JD Cymru Premier Squad | Transfers | Finances I can't really complain about the season overall, as we got 2 more points than last season when we won the league. Unfortunately, Colwyn Bay decided to have a great season as well, and beat on goal difference to the title! They scored 2 more than us, and conceded 5 less, and that is the entire difference. Kinda heart breaking to lose out in that way, but at least we showed last season was not a fluke. And with an excellent European adventure, we got in enough money to convince the board; Oh, yes, we are finally going pro, baby! So the next months, my work will be convincing players to sign new contracts, and negotiate it! And it should help, as we really struggled with fatigue this season. Hopefully going professional will help with that in the future. My top 3 pick of players this season are: 1. Sam Howells 27a - Another great season, but had his worst time in the league. In the cups he was a force! 2. Ashley Brown 30b - Dominates the midfield and delivers a lot of goals and assists. 3. Lewys Preston 32a - An excellent season on the left back where he runs all day long. Also assisted quite a bit. Welsh Cup: We beat Hey St. Marys before we lost to Llanelli Town in the 3rd round. League Cup: We beat Pontypridd, Lliswerry, and Cardiff Met Uni before we lost to Haverfordwest in the semi final. Challenge Cup: We lost to Scottish side Ross County in the 3rd round. Champions League: We lost to RFS of Latvia in the 1st qualifying round to get knocked into the Europa Conference League. Europa Conference League: We beat San Giovanni of San Marino, Torpedo Kutaisi of Georgia, and got revenge over RFS of Latvia to actually reach the group stage! There we drew Levski Sofia of Bulgaria, Newcastle of England, FK Partizan of Serbia, Aberdeen of Scotland, KuPS of Finland, and Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel. We managed to beat KuPS, as well as draw against Partizan and Maccabi Tel Aviv, but we still got knocked out as we finished 26th in the League Phase. A really good run, as well as a very nice money maker! I got some more improvements accepted this season. Around the world U19s: They won the Cymru Premier Development League (South) this season again. Welsh Youth Cup: They lost Brickfield in the 1st round. Popular Post Anners
Previous Post: On 02/12/2023 at 09:09, Anners said: Previous Post: 2042/43 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Championship So I may have got a bit excited again and not taken a screenshot pre-playoffs, but I'm hoping an exception can be made again because... 2043/44 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Premiership League: Made it into the playoffs, thanks to a 20 goal season from Solomon Frimpong (who for the eagle eyed amongst you can see scored just over 50% of our goals!). The playoffs this time: Thankfully no gauntlet for us to go through and for a change it was us getting a late goal! The season as a whole was somewhat curious, we started with 0 wins, 0 draws and 6 defeats before actually somewhat getting going. Cup competitions were lacking any excitement this year, going out in the Group Stage of the ViaPlay to Ayr United, who also knocked us out of the Scottish Cup at the fifth round. Really hope they don't become a bit of a thorn in my side as that's where my wife is from! Rangers actually lifted the Premiership trophy for the first time in 17 years, breaking the Hibs & Celtic dominance. Although looking at that top 4 at the end of the 2043/44 season, you wouldn't think much had changed in the league at all really! And we actually completed a clean sweep of records! Yes we did it again!! Though I usually get relegated the year after... Youth Intake: 2 years in a row I get a player of starting calibre, although this time it's quite unlucky to get one up front. Frimpong can play on the left wing, so it is a bit of an option going forward but you can't move someone who has got 128 goals in 204 league games out of the centre forward position really can you!? Once signed, he's immediately worth around £12.5m to £16.5m which to be honest, I'd be taking immediately if anyone offered! glennuk
Question for experts in the Japanese Leagues. In J3 League, how in the world are the Home Team and Away Team decided in the playoffs? Is the real rule that if scores are tied after 90 minutes the Home Team wins the playoff match? I may have come 3rd, ended up as the AWAY team against the lower placed team and finished with a draw in the match (which meant I lost as I was the away team) Anyone know if this is right? Or a bug? Popular Post bpecanha
VILLA ESPAÑOLA - 2025 SEASON Uruguayan Second Division Well, things went quickly wrong... remember that we already had a spot secured in the Playoffs after winning the Torneo Competencia at the start of the season. However, after that epic 8-4 against Uruguay Montevideo, our 3-2-3-2 system quickly became vulnerable at the back. We have conceded in 14 straight matches. Our attack scored in 11 of those matches, but it wasn't enough for us to grab a lot of points - we only got one win and five draws in this sequence. At this point, we were in last place in the regular season table, although relegation wasn't a real problem for us due to our great start in Torneo Competencia. However, something needed to change. I've decided to re-evaluate our squad, and I found two big problems. If you ask me right now, I'll say they were obvious, but I simply couldn't realize at the time. First one was our wings - they were our best attacking threat, but also our biggest weakness in defense. I don't like to use full backs or wing back (D), but I had to do it since our options for attacking fullbacks were really limited. The other one was: our team was too small. So I built a taller back four along with my (newly set) defensive midfielder, even if players weren't the best ones available. So my new tactics looked like that: And it really helped our form. I knew that getting back to straight wins was almost impossible, but we managed to get some good results and play decent football. In this division we have to look at three tables go get the full picture, so here's how everything ended: Regular season: Overall table: Average points table: Playoffs: We have faced our rivals Rentistas in Playoff semifinals, and even with a below average regular season, I felt that we could beat them. We played the first match at home, and it wasn't good, they neutralized all of our threats and we lost 2-1 - it could have been even worse. For the second leg I made some changes in the midfield and it really worked, we went to halftime winning 3-1 away. However, Rentistas found another goal and took the game to penalties, where we lost our composure and missed all of them. It wasn't to be. Player of the season Lira was a joy to watch through the entire season, and he was the only player that maintained good exhibitions even when our form vanished. Really good player. glennuk
Rein Meer aka ReinBerg - Season 2 - Japan J3 League - Mid Season Review & Youth Intake Preview League We are doing pretty well in the league again, still one of the best (2nd best) going forward, but struggling to not concede. 41 goals in 19 games is something to be proud of though. We are actually on a pretty poor run mid-season and have been falling down the table during the last month or so. I think we still have what it takes to move back into playoff contention, but only time will tell. Our Pre-Season prediction of 20th is definitely going to be smashed, so take that MEDIA!!!!! Note: See my nemesis Haneda (the board that sacked me in my first attempt) mocking me with their current 2nd place position. I will have my revenge, in this life or the next!! Youth Intake Preview So...it's a little better. Compared to the last preview this looks good, but ultimately it is still a poor sight to behold. Only 1 position higher than an E. We could well do with another midfielder, but more of an attacking one than a defensive minded one, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. Popular Post XaW
Sadness! I had to sell my talisman Sam Howells 27a, since his contract was running out, and he refused to even discuss a new deal. So I negotiated the best deal I could, and of course, got the 50% of profit of next sale at least. Udinese will get a very good striker, and I hope he does well in Italy. 135 league goals in 170 league games, and 188 goals in 222 games overall is an amazing record over 6 years and a bit.
Anners
@XaW I actually rejected a bid from Udinese of all clubs for Frimpong as well! Seem to love a British player. What's his value like once the game has reset it? Daddy
2027/28 Midseason Update - Belgian Third Tier - Season 4 Doing right around where I expected. We have the occasional lopsided score in either direction, but mostly all close games. The league is really bunched together so I don't plan to try to much experimentation as I want to be confidentally outside of relegation risk. Just a finance update. I don't think I have any major clauses coming up, but it looks like I just need to hit on one every three years or so to keep the team afloat. No more facility upgrades, but I have been able to get a few coaching classes. Weakest preview so far, but I've a fairly decent squad potential-wise right now, so it makes sense these start to slow down some.
WhiteCat33
FM23 Barbados YAC: Road View FC 2059 Season 37 – Excel Tool Update To recover from our final defeat I played primarily in Excel this weekend while watching matches on the tv and finally ended up implementing CA by Position & Minutes played. I've wanted this for a while, but it required porting over my Dirty Clean of Position to get the (Repeats) side. If you want to nerd-out on excel here's a Spoiler: Spoiler The issue that takes some effort to resolve is how to clean the full "Position" export the game gives you. This variable tells you what positions the player is fully competent in. It usually has all Natural & Accomplished positions, but sometimes will be missing a few. As I'm playing in the Caribbean, unlike in Europe you end up doing a ton of retraining here for player flexibility as you lack quality in depth for positions. This ends up with some wide varieties of Positions being reported by the game. If you have the patience and skill in excel it is possible to properly clean this as there is a defined logic to the order in which the positions appear. I got part-way through doing so when I did my Statistics Manager Career but ended up resorting to brute force to code the vast majority of common combinations. There is no order priority to the Positions, so as long as what's combined in the Raw Return is translated in the variables it will work for my purposes. I have about 400 combinations, and in my testing in my MLS+Bundesliga save 7 position variables covered over 99% of the players, with only a very few players having an additional 8th position in their output. Basically, each time I do an export I check if any new combination appears (errors) and quickly add it into the ever expanding list. Looking at my team again a player that's worth using as an example is the infamous R Hoyte who lost us our NACL final! (Don't think I'll ever forgive him for that clearance). He is a natural in 3 positions (WBR, DM & CM) and is Accomplished in 1 (AMR), while only light green in 1 (AMC). You'll see the game doesn't export his AMC ability, just the Natural & Accomplished positions. I then use a simple VLOOKUP to find his combo in the dirty key and they populate the Pos variables accordingly. This then is used to create Binary variables for each position that a player is deemed capable of playing by the game. Following R Hoyte (with his UID) you can see he got four variables at a 1 corresponding to WBR DM CM & AMR It is from these 4 binaries I then make the part-of-field variables. Here R Hoyte is still highlighed. You can see for the (Repeat) he is in all three Defense, Mid & Attack. However, for the Unique he is only in Midfield as his initial (and best) position is CM. Since he is one of my best players, this will artificially inflate all the averages in the repeat data. Even with this the case, I find it useful having the repeat data as this season my proper WBR was injured all year. Because of this, if you look at the Unique Data there is no WBR Regular Start (1500+). However, if you switch to the Repeat Data you see there is a CA of 90.09 for Regular Starter showing R Hoyte who filled in that position a lot this season though he didn't exclusively play there. For building the Unique Data that is simply just using the AssMan's "best position" recommendation. This is the position I use for calculating Current Ability, so was already linked to all the players and in each data manipulation so straightforward. Only thing I did was create a single categorical variable of 1-14 for each position: Which then got assigned to players as a final column after each of the Unique & Repeat Binary variables for their assigned positions. For Youth Intakes this is also useful as the "All" row for the Unique Data will provide position breakdown Then of course the combined works as well to track generally how our intakes are doing for each third of the pitch. I was surprised to find out Our Regular starters (>1500 Min) are at 100 CA! I didn't think we were that strong. I knew we had a star GK anchoring the team, but I didn't realize how truly balanced the field players have become. We still are noticeably weaker at CD and AML than our other playing positions (5-2-3 Wide 2DM). With our recent intake we now will have 3 U19 CDs who I like the look of and still have potential, so our CDs should steadily improve for the near future. AML unfortunately we don't have strong talent in the pipeline so I will have to look into who to retrain over there as we have many either-footed right-wing players with potential. I've left space for Best XI, but that takes a lot more work to set up properly (ie to move players to secondary positions after their primary is filled by higher CA options). I've added the Unique Players Table + Full Squad CA column to the tracking export. In addition I'm adding my top 10 player basic stats (App, Goals) for both Club and Country to hopefully build an automated "Road View & Barbados Legends" set of tables. The next stage is to go back through my 36 seasons to port the data so I can build historical graphs and "best player' historical tables. I really want to see what it is about my current team that is so much better than when Carrillo was leading the line 10 seasons ago. My hunch: he was a better striker, with better offensive help but defensively we were significantly weaker so couldn't handle the opposition. It will probably be a week or two before I can have a version ready to share for those who want to use these features to track their teams, but figured it was a fun little share to procrastinate this monday morning Edited December 4, 2023 by WhiteCat33
bpecanha
VILLA ESPAÑOLA - 2026 Youth Intake Uruguayan Second Division Well, there is no other word to say that: this is terrible. I've signed six players only because I wanted to have a full U19 team, hoping that someone is going to become better than the predictions, because they all look awful right now. For me, the best one is Santiago Rivero. Finishing 17, Determination 15, Resolute personality and decent pace, this is alright - other atributes are terrible, though. Also, I want to bring something that I forgot in my last update: I had to rebuild half of my staff, because all the brazilians I brought to the club, including HoYD René Simões, decided to leave after their contracts expired in June. My finances are really bad right now, so I'm planning to rebuild it again to save money. Villa Española had two youth intakes and there's no one who barely looks like a good football player, so we need to recover our financial status as soon as possible to make improvements in our facilities. This isn't just going to be a youth only challenge, is going to be a financial one as well.

With much stronger rivals we managed to get 4 points, with a little bit of luck we could even win this group, but I'm still proud. And it also helped us financialy. 27 goals bu Eddie Nelen is teams new record. Too bad that Swanson and Hultbom spent second half of season with major injuries, if they were healthy maybe we could even push for a place in top 2. "Are you winning son?" Still improving, even though he lost some time on recovery - it surely hurt his bravery and determination

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 2 - Japan J3 League - Youth Intake - Does it get better than this??? Another youth intake....another disappointment. Really hoping it swiftly improves. I have asked for a Youth Recruitment upgrade about 15 times with a 'No' every time. Note: I signed all tagged players (mostly for squad depth/to fill out my U18s) So with all of these poor players, poor personalities, poor potential, did I manage to find a top 3 this year?? Possibly! Top 3 - Youth Intake 2 Tetsuya Saito (YP02A) - He is by far the best player here and one that I feel could crack the first team, or even the starting lineup one day. He is relatively tall, fits into my inverted winger preference being right footed and has some decent mental attributes. I will try to get him into a few cup games, or a few league games as a sub and see what happens. Some hope for this one. Hideki Nakamura (YP02B) - He may have been my top choice if not for his unambitious personality. He is a decent way away from starting, but actually has potential in an area that we are weak. Again I will try to get him some playing time this year. He isn't too bad in any one area, with strength being the glaring weakness. So do I now have two youth I have some hope for.... Daiki Ito (YP02C) - I guess this is the 'C' grade defensive midfielder that appeared in the preview. I however am less impressed with him. His passing is weak, his mentals need some heavy improvement and he doesn't really shine in any key areas, with possibly the exception of being a hard worker. Hopefully he will prove me wrong, but I don't see him cracking the first team unfortunately. Other News - Junior Coaching Upgrade So although my Youth Recruitment requests are always shut down, I did manage to get another Junior Coaching Upgrade just before the intake came through. 25 Seconds into his debut sub appearance Tetsuya Saito (YP02A) scores his first goal for the club!!! and against my personal rival club Haneda no lesss!!!!!!
