I'm not ashamed gegenpressing myself to the top here with a team that is significantly inferior to everyone else in the league. B-U is obviously way better than everyone else as the relegated 3-Liga side. Spoiler Yes, even after finishing in 4th the media thinks we have 2000-1 odds, that is how much inferior the squad CA is... Cup: Semi-Final Defeat Another knockout by Hamm United, who then lost to B-U who did a lower-league double this year to totally dominate T4. Spoiler Squad: For the first half of the season (before the intake players breach the 16 bar) there were only two changes to the lineup form last year. Tunahan Senol became the man between the sticks, and 16-year-old Sertac Gazioglu stepped up at LB. Suffice to say both were significant improvements, with Senol being outstanding at GK and developing immensely this season becoming the media's top GK in the league. I'm bummed he will leave us in a year continuing to deny any talks to renew his deal. After New Years I was finally able to use Murat Oztekin, last years top-prospect, and he showed that there might be something special there. 9 goals and 4 assists in 17 appearances makes him our 4th highest scorer only playing under half the minutes of the three who tied at 11. Spoiler CA & Overview: Spoiler Team Data: This year was the return to form of Efekan Sengul who registered 13 assists and was a join top socrer with 11 goals! He is followed by his rotation option Okan Yalcon in assists at 11. To have my IWs generating double-digit assists proves it was a successful formation shift. Spoiler Team Demographics: The same graphs for the youth intakes exist for the squad, with an additional 4-pack of graphs that track year-over-year CA by position group and playing time. The minutes distinction is new since I originally played this save, so I only have data for the past two seasons. Spoiler The team is highly professional with about half the team with an Avg of 15 or more, which is perfect. Team is still pretty low CA. To be just 'average' for our tier we need our starting 11 to entirely be above 51 CA, with at least half in the 76-100 bracket. Team has great determination, which is easy to keep up with mentoring once you have all Resolute players. Only the "All Players" is truly useful, and you can see with the exception of 2037 (when I must have had trash youth GKs included in the average) GKs are improving significantly above the rest of the team. The rest hasn't really gotten better in the past 5 years on average. Statistics Excel: May add later, the question this year like last year is on what to do with strikers. Mehmet Can I really want to keep playing, but I really question his effectiveness without speed especially as he takes away valuable playing time from all our young prospects. Transfers: Tons of loans, but no meaningful departures. I basically loan out the entire youth players I don't see as playing a role in my first team. Spoiler Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: Pretty solid intake, which was attacking focused like I anticipated with that preview. YI Player Highlights: Spoiler A rare pure German Andre Schmalz is a solid CAM prospect for this level. Probably will train him as an AP-A to push up that Acceleration. Yunus Sahan could be my AF if I can improve that horrendous mentals. Adem Ciftci is a very welcome CD. I’ve been playing without a true 3rd CD for 2 seasons now Academy Data: Professional-Ambition-Determination Graphs: Spoiler Current Ability Tracking & Total Personality: Spoiler Full Personality Pie-Chart: Spoiler Academy Overview: Spoiler Head Coach Didn't notice anything pop up. Club We are still super broke, so nothing is changing here. Manager Thoughts What a year, I knew there was something special in this squad worth a second look. I was confident we would do better this season, but 'best of the rest' was not on my radar. The two things that held us back at the end of the year is: 1) Lack of Depth in all 4 defensive positions. 2) Underperformance by our dedicated strikers. 1) While this won't get fixed in the Fall I'm pretty sure we will be in better shape in the next 2-3 years as there are some decent CD prospects in the pipeline. However, we still have junk for fullbacks so we will be relying on our outstanding GK core to keep us in the hunt till some talent appears. 2) I am starting to generate some promising AFs who are the 'beat the keeper' type w/o finishing, who will probably become the protype #9 for the club instead of the DLF we've historically deployed. Speed in the attacking 3 just is overpowered in these lower-leagues over skill. Competition History: Spoiler Edited March 14 by WhiteCat33

JLAB
AFC Telford United - Season 1 I finished my first season at Telford United in 7th place. We had a lovely first season and easily avoided relegation from the 6th tier. However, we were defeated at the first hurdle of the playoffs by Spennymoor. I completed the National C Licence. I'm studying for my National B Licence. The first intake was quite lovely. I went over all the players in more detail in a video I will link below. Michael Rimmer had the best current ability of the intake players. As did James Mitchell. Milan Lazarov is probably the most essential player since he gives me more depth of strength on the right wing that I need in the role I will be using for him. Bailee-James Lodge has the most potential stars but needs work to make my first team plans. While Matei is the player that my backroom staff are most excited about. The club was taken over partway through the season, and the new chairman immediately gave me a new contract, which was nice. We scored almost 100 goals in our 53 games this season. I need to improve some of the facilities at some point. After I took this screenshot, our training facilities dropped in how they were viewed by the world. Newgenn
I'm not playing the challenge officially as I'm using a tier 10 English database and picked Bury first season, in tier 9. Apart from that I'm sticking to all of the rules. It's like playing on easy mode, their facilities and attendances are surely unrealistic. They do so well on gates that the finances are crazily strong for the level, and the board insisted in going pro second season, after only one promotion to the 8th tier. Because of all of this, the intakes are really strong and the players develop very fast because they are playing lots of games and training often because they are professional. I got back to back promotions straight to league One and will probably get promoted in my current season too, up to the Championship. This means the players keep improving because they are consistently playing at a higher level. In League One the stadium sells out every game so that's 11,000 odd. I am enjoying the save, it's like a speed run but it's nowhere near as satisfying as playing with a more challenging team.
XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2027 (Season 4) - Eliteserien Squad | Transfers | Finances We stayed up, and we weren't even in the relegation battle! Just an excellent season for us, really. The team is clearly far away from the top teams, and we are more than capable of losing to any team in the league, but also are good enough to pick up points, and also beat the lower rated ones. Overall, I'm very happy with the progress of the team, and the club as a whole. We also had a good cup run, so overall it looks well. Best youth players: Andreas Lundström 27b had a very nice season and is now 2nd choice of the left. Mads Fredrik Blåsternes 25a had some stinkers, but also some good matches. Too unpredictable at the moment. Petter Bjørke 24a is developing nicely and are now almost ready to be a first choice in the midfield. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Sandefjord, Brumunddal, Vidar, Skeid, Raufoss, and Strømsgodset to reach the final. There we narrowly lost to Bodø/Glimt to finish as runner-up. We are losing money, but the board accepted my request to max junior coaching. 2nd team They only played friendlies this season U19s They finished 3rd in the Oslo Kretsserie G19 again this season. dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 26 (2049/50) Europe We did well beating Real Madrid in the last 16 of the CL, and built up a solid 2-goal lead in the first leg of our quarter final against Inter. But the second leg left me absolutely fuming, I thought I could catch them on the counter so didn’t play very defensive, we conceded 3 quick goals, went more attacking, and ended up losing 7-4 (and 9-8 on aggregate :z) Some of it was self inflicted but we seem to be fading away in Europe over the last few years, unfortunately. League Easily retained the title Players Waiting for my defenders to develop, our wonderkid striker Gary Fyffe 20a had another storming season with 30 goals and 14 assists in all comps. In general it feels like I might have a few transitional seasons ahead, some decent youngsters coming up (4 on the NxGn list, 3 of whom are defenders!) but quite a few of our regulars are ageing out, which leaves some gaps in the squad. Youth intake (preview) Looks like it could be a good one, no elite talents but some 4.5* PA players and a couple of defenders to boot. Facilities No upgrades, I guess that’s it for youth facilities unless we get a board takeover. Transfers Nothing major. This must be the longest youth challenge (or any other save) I’ve played in FM, feels like I’ve gone too far to give up but I do hope I complete this at some point so I can manage another team on this FM Season | League | Pos. | Europe | Best player | Notes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 | League 2 | 1 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | Promoted 2025/26 | League 1 | 7 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | 2026/27 | League 1 | 6 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | 2027/28 | League 1 | 5 | n/a | James Wallace (ST) | 2028/29 | League 1 | 1 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | Promoted 2029/30 | Championship | 6 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | 2030/31 | Championship | 8 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | Won SPL Trust Trophy 2031/32 | Championship | 4 | n/a | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Lost in playoff 1st round 2032/33 | Championship | 2 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | Lost in playoff 2nd round 2033/34 | Championship | 1 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (AMR) | Promoted 2034/35 | Premiership | 2 | n/a | Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) | 2035/36 | Premiership | 2 | CL group | Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) | 2036/37 | Premiership | 2 | CL R16 | Connor Malpas 06a (ST) | 2037/38 | Premiership | 2 | CL KO | Tom Thomas 07a (AML) | 2038/39 | Premiership | 3 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | 2039/40 | Premiership | 1 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | 2040/41 | Premiership | 1 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | League & league cup double 2041/42 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | Domestic treble 2042/43 | Premiership | 1 | CL Semi | Hamish Maguire 09c (ST) | 2043/44 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Won Scottish cup 2044/45 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Domestic treble 2045/46 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Jake MacGregor 16c (ST) | Domestic treble 2046/47 | Premiership | 1 | CL Final | Gary Fyffe 20a (ST) | 2047/48 | Premiership | 1 | CL Final | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | 2048/49 | Premiership | 1 | CL Semi | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | Domestic treble 2049/50 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | Domestic treble Facilities ---------- Season | Coaching | Recruitment | Training Fac. | Youth Fac. | Stadium ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024 | Basic | Limited | Basic | Poor | 3000 2024/25 | Adequate | Fairly basic | Basic | Basic | 3000 2025/26 | Good | Average | Basic | Basic | 3000 2026/27 | Excellent | Above average | Basic | Basic | 3000 2027/28 | Excellent | Good | Basic | Basic | 3000 2028/29 | Exceptional | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2029/30 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2030/31 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2031/32 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2032/33 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2033/34 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2034/35 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2035/36 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Adequate | Adequate | 3000 2036/37 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Great | Average | 3000 2037/38 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Superb | Average | 5250 2038/39 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Good | 5250 2039/40 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2040/41 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2041/42 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2042/43 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2043/44 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2044/45 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2045/46 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2046/47 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 29914 2047/48 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 29914 2048/49 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 39454 [no change]

djsterry
FC UNITED 1ST SEASON REVIEW Early season prediction was to battle against relegation, we completely defied the odds and were actually top at one point mid season, a poor run of no wins in about ten games left us just about in the play off places. Unfortunately we lost in the semi final but its probably for the best as I think the team is actually pretty poor and I'm surprised how many games we won in the end. Youth intake Apparently an excellent intake, It might be because of the fact I've jumped straight from my top level Turkish save but the players looked terrible to me and poor personalities as well. Personal Progress Started my C badge, good to get that approved early I have struggled to get anything approved early on in other saves Facilities Board wouldn't consider any upgrades, not sure if this is to do with semi-pro status but I have 600k in the bank and that feels rich to me compared to saves in other countries let me spend the damn money Finances Didn't make a loss, so all good there Edited March 16 by djsterry

Ron_Swanson
[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 29 - 2051 Bunch of nice potential, Adam Larsson is going into starting lineup straight away because Ville Gefvert made no progress in 3 years (he was unambitious, just changed into balanced recently) Another solid outcome, we're still far behind top clubs but at least we aspire to be a established mid-table team. We also made it into semi final in Swedish Cup so it's definetely best season in clubs history. The big problem though is Olof Rosen going into last year of contract and he still wants to leave so I consider selling him now. Same thing will probably happen next year with Alfred Jändel-Holst which will make our defence a lot weaker. "Are you winning, son?" not much changed here, still quite usefull but could be close to retirement
Cardiovascular
Enfield Town - 2027/28 Another year, another struggle. 19th place for us again as we once again went to the final day and relied on results elsewhere going in our favour when we didn't win. Thankfully they did, and we live to fight another year. Struggling to get any form of consistency, although I think our players are well below this level which is probably the issue. In the FA Cup, we made the first round proper, easing by Paulton, Plymouth Parway, VNL side Newport County before losing on penalties to Northampton after back-to-back 3-3 draws. We were entertaining, that's for sure. Exited the FA Trophy immediately, losing to Wealdstone. Key Players Spoiler Three twenty goal players make up our key players section, as Oliver Knight had an incredible season in the AM slot. Wyllie was also good on the wing, but Sykes was very hot and cold up front for us despite all his goals. These lads are aging though, and none of our youths seem to fancy stepping up to the plate. Youth Intake Spoiler Three really good additions to the first team here. Howard is a tidy looking player but might not oust Oliver Knight just yet, but I'm really excited by Muzaffer Turkoglu who looks like an exciting prospect. He'll play alot next year I think. Our U18s have torn it up this year! On some coaching news, the board has approved Teddy Guliyev's coaching course and now we're studying towards a continental A licence. Hoping this helps with coaching and tactics, because we need some change soon.
libbyshuss
Lyra-Lierse - Belgium - 2046/47 League: 4th Champions League: Knock Out Play-off Round Croky Cup: Runner Up Bit of a weird season really. We went unbeaten for the first 14 games, but drew 9 of them! never really recovered from that and only managed a fourth place finish in the end, meaning no Champions League next season! Champions League is still a bit of a slog, but we went one better than last season, actually getting out of the league stage. Encouraging thing was how good we were in those qualifying rounds Youth What looked like a great youth preview, with three A grades, turned into an average intake a week later when they all turned to C grades instead. Two elite talents, both strikers? we'll see... Wonderkids Another bone fide proper wonderkid! woohoo! Joseph Zola 43H was a surprise. he's only a two star potential defender, but I had to play him due to injuries and he did ok. Saadi 44B is a Moroccan right winger who's been playing really well for us and could well be a proper proper wonderkid in a couple of years. Where are they now? Let's go back 5 years and look at my 2042 intake, where I got 6 elite talents! where are they now? Mil Delforge - Belgium has this annoying thing where the boards want a negative transfer balance, no matter how much money you have. So you have to sell a certain amount of players or the board take over and sell them for you for ridiculous prices. I had to sacrifice Delforge for that, selling him to Sturm Gratz for £4.2m (when he was valued at 8-10m). He's been pretty good in Austria, time will tell if i made a silly mistake there Elliot Toussaint - star graduate, looked the real deal, wasn't at all in any way, left on a free when he was 18 Eduardo - I had high hopes for him, he looked good. Went on loan for last three seasons and was ok but never really improved. I just sold him for 40k Rafael Siquert - I sold him to Caen the next season for £350k. I had so many wingers he was never gonna make it here Liam Nys - Sold straight away to Gent for 85k where he has done very little. Brayan Verschueren - the success story of this intake! I only played him due to injuries in the first team but he performed well, he didn't totally fulfil his potential but he a good Jupiler Pro League player and a really handy squad player So, overall, a really disappointing intake. 6 elite talents and only 1 made it and only as a squad player to boot. I'm currently in season 10, I'll be posting a recap of season 9 soon. If I saw correctly, no one in the Hall of Fame has yet completed the challenge with a Hungarian team, so good luck to us! I will follow your journey!
JAwtunes
Afrika Reykjavik (Iceland) - Season 16 (2039) - FM24 We have finally climbed out of the second division and had a good first season in the top flight... Domestic Performances As the curtains fall on another gripping season, Afrika Reykjavik concludes their campaign with both domestic prowess and European aspirations. In the Beasta deild karla, Afrika showcased their mettle, securing a commendable 4th place finish, tallying 43 points and solidifying their presence in Icelandic football. Their sterling performance earned them a coveted spot in the Europa Conference League, underscoring their growing stature within the domestic football landscape. Although the journey in the Mjólkurbikarinn (Domestic Cup) was cut short at the quarter-finals against Grotta, Afrika's primary focus on league endeavors proved fruitful. Players The heartbeat of Afrika's success this season resonated through standout performances from key individuals. Piotr Bartkowski [54], donning the iconic Shirt Number 10, emerged as the fans' undisputed favourite, rightfully claiming the title of "Player of the Year." His versatility in midfield, demonstrated through 27 appearances, 9 goals, and 5 assists, epitomized the essence of a true team player. Krisztián Ladányi [60], the Hungarian sensation, showcased his flair with 18 goals, solidifying his position as the club's top scorer. Meanwhile, Mateusz Ziółkowski [63], with his commanding presence in midfield, earned accolades for his pivotal role in ground duels and endurance, garnering a Sofascore rating of 7.02. Youth Intake Spoiler Afrika's commitment to nurturing young talent was evident in their highly-rated youth intake this season. Among the emerging prospects, Mateusz Podleśny [53], Stefán Ari Bridde [53], and Marcin Warzycha [54] exhibited promising potential across various positions on the field. With their estimated potential ability between 4 to 5, these young prodigies represent the future pillars of Afrika's squad, embodying the club's vision for sustained success and development. Spoiler Finances On the financial front, Afrika experienced a positive trajectory, with their balance increasing by approximately £230k. This upward trend was bolstered by the lucrative sale of Ernest Supryn 37a to Víkingur Reykjavík, fetching a commendable fee of £56k, supplemented by additional add-ons. Such financial stability augurs well for Afrika's long-term sustainability and their ability to invest in further strengthening the squad for future challenges. Around the World As the domestic season draws to a close, football enthusiasts worldwide witnessed the culmination of major European leagues. Chelsea clinched their 8th English Premier League title, while Barcelona celebrated their 37th La Liga triumph. In Italy, Inter Milan secured their 31st Serie A victory, whereas Bayern Munich continued their dominance in Germany with their 47th Bundesliga title. Additionally, Monaco emerged victorious in France, claiming their 9th Ligue 1 crown. Furthermore, in the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool triumphed over Manchester City in an enthralling final, securing their 9th European title and solidifying their status as one of Europe's elite clubs. ajancsiii
Békéscsaba Előre 1912 Hungary Season 9 2032/2033 Competitions: We managed to make a little progress in the Champions League again. This time we also managed to advance from the league phase by defeating teams like Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle United, where the winner of the current Ballon d'Or is also playing. Unfortunately, we were eliminated in the play off round, but the team is doing better every year in the Champions League, which is encouraging. Squad: Youth intake: Elite talents: Transfers: Things worth mentioning:
FeyenoordKings
I wanted to start the Youth Academy Challenge in Germany from Division 5 with the normal German Leagues File but a) I had to use "create players for playable teams" or these teams would have zero players and only grey ones which would be absolutely useless and b) there are free transfers pre-arranged to join ahead of the 2nd season so the first season I play. Are these just players that are at the club and can be used then or "transfers that the board does for you"? Seems conflicting?
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 17 - Japan J2 League - FINALLY!!!! League - 2nd It was a long time coming and a very odd and dramatic season. After getting 37 points in the first 19 games, we only managed to get 28 in the next 19. We were helped with some good fortune, as on the last day of the season we SMASHED Okayama and Tosu got an early sending off which ruined their chance of automatic promotion. I was actually top until the 96th minute when Oita came back (also with a man down) to get a draw in their final game, The Squad We have been slowly improving as a team and I am pretty happy with most areas of the squad now. The midfield seems to be the biggest weakness and I am not too keen on Hayato Terada (YP14A) in goal. He is the best I have, but feel he may struggle with the step up. We also now have three strikers who I can start, which helps, as usually we have struggled in this department, but with Masami Asano (YP11B), Masafumi Nagata (YP13B) and Kazuya Ikeda (YP07H) all chipping in with 10+ goals I can deal with one being out of form on the odd occassion. Finances We were starting to struggle a bit with our finances, but our promotion and the nice increase to our ticket prices should help with that. Youth Intake We were hopeful for some reinforcements in midfield and the intake delivered. I am very happy with this group and all of the Elite Talents look like they could make it as important players for us. Top 3 - Youth Intake 17 Shunsuke Hayashi (YP17A) My first Model Citizen of this save and an area we have been needing to improve. Our Inverted Winger on the left has not been a stable position and Shunsuke could battle for that starting spot straight away. He has all the physical ability needed, but just need some improvement on the mentals (composure especially) and the technicals. I am VERY excited about his potential. Futoshi Sato (YP17B) I have had a glut of good CBs, so he may take a while to get into the first team. However he has some great starting attributes, but those physical attributes need some work for sure. Masahide Koike (YP17C) Another winger with some great starting physical attributes. Our right wing is less of a NEED NOW, but he could definitely be battling for the first team in a couple of years. Other News I got the J2 Manager of the Year Award!! Ok thank you, without looking at the game I think they are locked in for July 1st without any option. What is the case with the "adding players", is that legal? For the 5th division or ofc 6th division where the club comes from there are no real players in the game and on the German FM forums there is no more file with real players either for FM24 so it's the only option to not have all grey players. Yeah, the "add players" are fine to do, the game will just populate the teams if they are missing players. In some leagues that's pretty much needed to survive the first season. I started the save in November. The screenshots were months and now weeks behind as I never get so far (well not since FM22), so don't post until it looks like the save is going to progress. I am not far behind now where I am actually in the game.

Got a quality player in my last youth intake: In fact. he was so much better than the rest of my team I couldn't even get him to agree to an initial Full - Time contract. Of course, this it what happens next: Looks like I'm going to have to offer him around with a 50% sell on in the hope he will choose elsewhere....... Transfer Result: UTTER DISGRACE. We get £400 for a £20m player! Utter, utter balderdash. Ah thats so gutting

I might follow @djsterry's advice and not even use them till they agree initial terms in future. I do that, if some look really good (I don't ever get an CA over 2 and half stars) but I leave them in the U18s until they turn 17 and can sign a pro contract. Padders
Season 77 - 2100/01 - SBC A better season and back into the playoff, 5th But another Semi Final loss, hammered by Wolves A poor intake, need to keep an eye on it and may need a replacement HOYD if doesn't improve soon
Padders
Season 78 - 2101/02 - SBC Ronnie Jameson, 19, who scored 41 goals last season in his first full season up front replacing the retried legend Sam Cackett, wouldn't sign a new contract without adding a really low minimum release clause in, so I was delaying giving him a new contract. He then did the old exploring options and then wanted to leave. So decided to sell, shame as looked decent. Gone to Newcastle for only £3m. I should have just given him the new contract at the end of season will the minimum fee in (it was only £12m, less than his value for us) We finished 7th, one point off the playoffs which was very frustrating. We were just off the top two with 8 games to play. Then the dreaded lose a tight game after being on a great win and the morale is shot and can't win a game, so we missed out on the play offs. Another poor intake, not good Edited March 18 by Padders

I will follow your journey! Yeah, just seen your report on your last season. Congrats for the good results! It's nice to see that there is hope for Előre (Champions League participation within 8 years), because this first season feels extremely hard... We started really good, with a 5 match unbeaten run, we were top3, but after that the team started to struggle: We can't have a good run of results Injuries, injuries and injuries... The originated players continuously complain about training One of my better centerbacks wants to leave and poisons the locker-room atmosphere, because I could not sell him yet (maybe he can leave in the winter break, finally there are some interests for him from Serbia) I will be happy to have him leave, but I am afraid there won't be real depth in the season finish One of my better strikers complains that he wants to play as Poacher (which I think is one of the worst roles for a striker) -> another blow to the locker room atmosphere Now, we slipped to the 10th position in Division II (actually it is kinda real, because the original expectation was mid-table) In our last 9 matches we could not win (4 draws and 5 losses) And despite we are in good financial form, the board keeps rejecting my requests: no facility, junior coaching or recruitment upgrades, and they do not allow me to take a single coaching course And now I received the youth intake preview which prognosed to be a crap... Spoiler Please tell me that you faced similar issues in your first season and still became regular participant in the Champions Leage 5-7 years later

I had exactly the same issue, the way I got round it was by loading a few autosave backups and holidaying past the "dreaded" date. I never really figured out what was the exact issue but eventually it worked (eg I loaded a 1 month old save, holidayed for a month, it worked, then loaded a 1 week old save, it didn't work, then after that the 1 month save stopped working but another save suddenly worked...) glennuk
@XaW - Have you completely given up on the 5 continent YAC Challenge? Also at the weekend I was just thinking, I want to do a Germany save after Japan (if I don't try to complete a third continent (I completed Europe with England, hopeful to do Asia with Japan - not doing all in the same save though) and was thinking I wanted to do Energie Cottbus. Also I realize there is a lot of thinking in that sentence, but well it is a day of heavy thinking here
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 18 - Japan J1 League - Mid Season Review & Youth Intake Preview League For our first year in the top league we have actually looked okay. We certainly haven't been out of our depth and sit 14th after 19 games. Our attack is the tied strongest averaging almost 2 goals a game, but our defence is the worst averaging over 2 goals a game. I am going to try to survive this year, then may need to tinker a bit more with my tactics, as this has been a common trend and at this level we need a tighter defence. Other News We almost tripled our season ticket sales. I have realized an issue with this particular save is Aomori in Japan (our Home Town) is clearly not a big Football town. When I had a brief try at Haneda before this save we were getting this many season tickets in the J3 league For those who like random statistics. Aomori = 321 people per square KM Tokyo = 6,363 people per square KM Those attendance numbers may be hard to increase! Youth Intake Preview Very happy with this! A fantastic preview. We need some midfielders as I feel it is my weakest position, so a good winger and a good defensive midfielder would be welcome and of course we could always do with another CB or two. SkiIIs
Hey everyone - looking to start this challenge on for the first time on FM24. I know in previous iterations there was a map of countries that havent been completed in that version of FM. Wondering if there was an update for FM24 before i choose a country. Any other detail would be greatly appreciated as I dont think scrolling through 67 pages of fun is time spent well
