SkiIIs
2 hours ago, Perre8 said: Season 10 FC Wacker Innsbruck After a very busy period at work, home etc, I managed to find some time to complete season 10. We started the league with 7 wins in a row, after the 22 games we had a lead of 13 points!! In the Champions League we had some good results but nothing out of the ordinary, we qualified for the KO rounds. Meanwhile in the cup we managed to get to the semi final, but we got defeated, that came as a surprise actually but not the end of the world. Progressing in the Champions League...we drew Inter Milan, tough one, but we managed to win both games Meanwhile in the Champions Playoff we were absolutely cruising, winning almost everything This streak in the beginning, let us retain the Bundesliga title for the third consecutive time! Back to Europa...we got Barcelona in the next round, we drew home 2-2. At Nou Camp i was certain we would get a beating... They got fmed! Next round, quarter final, Chelsea, again at home 2-2, again we did the job in tha away game! My striker Jusufi, who is normally backup striker was now first choice because he is a bit faster than our main striker Otto, with Jusufi scoring and giving the winning assist, both on counter attacks, made me feel good for taking the risk WE WERE GOING TO THE FINAL!! Never was i more nervous for a game then this one, absolute underdogs here. The game was actually pretty even, good chances fot both teams... But then came minute 84... Schmidt takes a shot from there, Otto deflects the ball into the back of the net, absolute delirium!! We had to hold on for +- 10 more minutes!! In the absolute last moments of the game they equalised... but it was ruled out, i was so lucky because extra time i wouldn't have survived, my players were empty. My best players were: Challenge completed!! Amazing that you could win the champions league with those players! Nice job

Newgenn
Has anyone else noticed this when playing in England? I find I always start with good intakes for the first few seasons, then they get worse even despite usually maxing out JC and YR. This isn't just about PA being relative to my squad either. I have a feeling that it's either when the club turns pro or gets to League 2, I can't decide which. My theory is that the club is then competing in a different pool. Basically before you hit league 2/ turn pro you have the best youth set up of all of the non-league/ semi-pro teams so you get the pick of the best players. After you get to league 2/ turn pro you still have good facilities, but probably not the best and also your club reputation is more than likely a lot lower than any of the football league clubs for a long time. It takes a long time of being successful to catch up. In this case all of the teams with equal or better facilities than you, but with a higher rep get the pick of the better players before you. Obviously you can still get the odd freak talent but it comes more down to chance. I also find that even though I might get one or two high PA players, the intake as a whole is still a lot worse. Padders
13 hours ago, dkouv said: Brora Rangers – Season 28 (2051/52) Europe A bit of a de-ja-vu in Europe this season as, after getting through tough knock-out ties against Man City and Barcelona, we faced Milan in the semis (like last year) and, having beaten them thanks to 2 own goals, faced our conquerors Spurs in the final again (and they, like last year, beat Man U in their semi). I played the final on a different computer to try and break the curse and of course, completely logically, it worked We were 2-1 up, Spurs equalised with 3 minutes to go, and our players looked knackered, so I thought that was it. But going into extra time we had a huge slice of luck as one of their players got sent off for a 2nd yellow, and we managed to score 2 quick goals to make it 4-2 and finally win the whole thing! Ta-da, CHALLENGE COMPLETE!! The stars of the CL-winning team are Andy Morton 17a (AMRL) - just an absolutely world class player, maybe the best I’ve had in all my years playing this challenge, guess that’s what you get after 28 different intakes! Robbie Clark 15a (DMC) - a very well rounded elite defensive midfielder who chipped in with quite a few goals this season. Jure Galic (ST) - the man who beat all odds after being rated 1* PA at intake; you need a good striker in this challenge and he was the man. Niall Reid 19b (DR) - my defence is still comparatively terrible but it got much better over the last few years, and this man was key, defending and attacking well from the full-back position Player of the challenge Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) (appearances) came through in the Championship and was our starting left back and captain for the best part of 20 years, 100+ assists and 50+ goals in 536 league appearances, a true club legend League: almost (but not quite) an unbeaten league season [No transfers] Season | League | Pos. | Europe | Best player | Notes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 | League 2 | 1 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | Promoted 2025/26 | League 1 | 7 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | 2026/27 | League 1 | 6 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | 2027/28 | League 1 | 5 | n/a | James Wallace (ST) | 2028/29 | League 1 | 1 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | Promoted 2029/30 | Championship | 6 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | 2030/31 | Championship | 8 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | Won SPL Trust Trophy 2031/32 | Championship | 4 | n/a | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Lost in playoff 1st round 2032/33 | Championship | 2 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (ST) | Lost in playoff 2nd round 2033/34 | Championship | 1 | n/a | Tony Jukes 05a (AMR) | Promoted 2034/35 | Premiership | 2 | n/a | Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) | 2035/36 | Premiership | 2 | CL group | Ryan Nelson 08c (DL) | 2036/37 | Premiership | 2 | CL R16 | Connor Malpas 06a (ST) | 2037/38 | Premiership | 2 | CL KO | Tom Thomas 07a (AML) | 2038/39 | Premiership | 3 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | 2039/40 | Premiership | 1 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | 2040/41 | Premiership | 1 | CL R16 | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | League & league cup double 2041/42 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Owen Young 12b (DMC) | Domestic treble 2042/43 | Premiership | 1 | CL Semi | Hamish Maguire 09c (ST) | 2043/44 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Won Scottish cup 2044/45 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Tom Thomas 07a (ST) | Domestic treble 2045/46 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Jake MacGregor 16c (ST) | Domestic treble 2046/47 | Premiership | 1 | CL Final | Gary Fyffe 20a (ST) | 2047/48 | Premiership | 1 | CL Final | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | 2048/49 | Premiership | 1 | CL Semi | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | Domestic treble 2049/50 | Premiership | 1 | CL QF | Robbie Clark 15a (DM) | 2050/51 | Premiership | 1 | CL Final | Andy Morton 17a (AML) | Domestic treble 2051/52 | Premiership | 1 | CL Winner | Andy Morton 17a (AML) | Challenge complete Facilities ---------- Season | Coaching | Recruitment | Training Fac. | Youth Fac. | Stadium ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024 | Basic | Limited | Basic | Poor | 3000 2024/25 | Adequate | Fairly basic | Basic | Basic | 3000 2025/26 | Good | Average | Basic | Basic | 3000 2026/27 | Excellent | Above average | Basic | Basic | 3000 2027/28 | Excellent | Good | Basic | Basic | 3000 2028/29 | Exceptional | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2029/30 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2030/31 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2031/32 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2032/33 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2033/34 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2034/35 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Basic | 3000 2035/36 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Adequate | Adequate | 3000 2036/37 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Great | Average | 3000 2037/38 | Exceptional | Exceptional | Superb | Average | 5250 2038/39 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Good | 5250 2039/40 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2040/41 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2041/42 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Great | 5250 2042/43 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2043/44 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2044/45 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2045/46 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 19943 2046/47 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 29914 2047/48 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 29914 2048/49 | Exceptional | Exceptional | State of Art | Excellent | 39454 [no change] Yes!!! So the better your first team is, the worse the intake will look, based on stars. Besides, the star rating for intake players are meant to be only a guideline. I've had 2 star intake talents become world beaters so many times, I can count it. That's why I usually keep all players with good personalities and what looks like a decent attribute distribution. Also, remember that the club reputation also impacts youth recruitment, so the higher your reputation is, the higher the chance of getting the best talents. After all, if you as a 14 year old got the chance to join either "Pub squad FC" or Arsenal to continue your development, the choice would be easy.

I understand what you're saying but that is not the reason. I have tested my theory a few times using genie scout to check the actual PA of players and it does seem to get lower once I've turned pro or reached the football league. I completely understand your point about reputation and agree that's how it should work. What I'm seeing is that while I'm in non league and semi pro I somehow manage to bring through more players with high PA of 140+ then once I get to league two I struggle for many years with 120 odd PA players and only the odd freak who is better. This continued on my recent Bury save and for 3 seasons in the Prem I my highest PA player was 136.
Padders
Season 87 - 2109/10 - SBC Another play off finish and and another play off Semi Final lose This time 0-1 over the two legs with a goal conceded in the 91st minute Overall though, such a frustrating season Scored loads of goals (100) and concede far too many (70) Including 2-7 to Sheff Utd and 1-5 to Derby who were both 24th at the time Shame really as form was decent going into the Play Offs Jake Dover has retired at 35, 605 games, 126 goals and 174 assists

Sdp9511
End-of-Season Review Season 2035/36 Le Puy Season Summary- After 3 years of slow progressive growth we took a step back, we were near the bottom of the league for most of the season. Even though at one point we were 4th on the XG table. We just were unable to be effective in keeping the ball out of our net, ending the season as the team with the most goals conceded. We also suffered massively from injuries with there being a 2 month period where we had 7 players injured on average and 4 or 5 of those were usually starters. On the positive side, we are now the best youth system in the second division and I believe that next season our team should be able to challenge a bit more with more of our players becoming Ligue 2 players instead of National or National 2 quality players. Lastly, we finally got a new sponsor which has led to a 300k increase in yearly revenue, which was necessary. Sadly one of them is again for 6 years. We have a new appearance record, with LB Gilles Comte becoming the new all-time record holder (came from the 2023/2024 youth intake) After we constantly requested for an upgrade, which kept on getting rejected by the board. The board thought it would be a good idea to meet to improve our youth facilities. Season Details Transfers- No major transfers, sold a few youngsters that were never going to be part of the squad. We also loaned out 4 players, with 3 players particularly impressing. 2 of them (Zounon 10L and Omrani 10C) will probably be a part of next seasons team, while the other two might continue to be loaned out Youth Candidates- One of our better youth intakes in the last few years, we got 4 elite talents. With all of them having good personalities. The two top talents are Hachem and Diaw, Diaw is a RW able to play RB, who looks like he could be a good winger in the future. Sadly we still haven't gotten an elite midfielder in this intake Key Players POTS- Andreas Kruger was once again my POTS and top scorer. He ended up 4th in the league with 16 goals and 2 assists. Our reliance on him, will most likely decrease next season as other players take some of his game time away. YPOTY- For the first time in a while, we have a different YPOTY. Paul tchami has been the backup midfielder for 2 seasons now, but with his CA he will probably continue being our backup. While he isn't bad, our reliance on him shows the lack of quality midfielders we have in this team. Best new youngster- Clinton Nkem was the obvious top talent of last season. With his CA already being as good as our first XI, we gave him a few opportunities to show what he has got and he hasn't disappointed. I'm now training him to learn how to play off the right as well. So he can get more game time Career Record After Season Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Win Percentage Time At Club ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 37 12 13 12 64 62 -2 32.0% 328 days 2025/26 74 32 23 19 133 104 29 43.0% 730 days 2026/27 111 37 33 41 168 171 -3 33.0% 1074 days 2027/28 148 53 45 50 230 220 10 35.0% 1431 days 2028/29 192 77 57 58 313 271 42 40.0% 1816 days 2029/30 232 90 65 77 380 353 27 38.0% 2181 days 2030/31 269 101 72 96 428 416 12 37.0% 2550 days 2031/32 305 111 78 116 480 493 -13 36.0% 2903 days 2032/33 341 124 86 131 548 554 -6 36.0% 3298 days 2033/34 379 138 94 147 621 624 -3 36.0% 3652 days 2034/35 419 157 100 162 697 688 9 37.0% 3999 days 2035/36 457 169 111 177 764 755 9 36.0% 4356 days Transfer Sale Record Date Player Position Club Sold To Country Transfer Fee --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15/8/2034 Rudy Lenourmand 8A CDM/CB RSC Anderlecht Belgium 4,700,000 (6,000,000) 31/1/2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 4c CDM Club Brugge Belgium 1,700,000 (2,300,000) Trophy Haul Season Competition Won -------------------------- Record Number of Appearances (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Appearances ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2023-present Gilles Comte 332 2025-present Andreas kruger 296 2024-present Goran Grahovac 286 2025-present Ousmane Tine 281 2026-present Olivier Penot 219 Record Goal Scorer (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Goals ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Andreas Kruger 115 2026-present Kevin Toure 54 2025-present Ousmane Tine 46 2024-present Goran Grahovac 31 2028-present Falaye Traore 22 Record Number of Assists (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Assists ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Ousmane Tine 51 2023-present Gilles Comte 35 2024-present Goran Grahovac 34 2025-present Andreas Kruger 32 2028-present Falaye Traore 26 Record Number of Clean Sheets (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Clean sheets ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2027-present Kevin Labonne 8 Edited March 28 by Sdp9511

djsterry
FC United Season Review First season in league two and we go straight up via the playoffs, we were fairly steady all year and the standard of opposition didn't seem much better than in the national league. Front three became a front four, I mentioned in my last season review that I only had one decent youngster come through but he had a fantastic season and chipped in with 11 goals at 16 years old ! Fitzmartin is the 16 year old in question and I doubt I will be able to keep hold of him past his current contract but I will certainly try ! The rest of the intake were borderline pub players but I will take a player this good every year over loads of average ones. Ba produced again, great little player Essama had a poor spell mid season and didn't really get firing Krane my captain and longest serving player seemed to find league two easier than the national league. Finances Were basically terrible and I was losing about 60k a month, received about 1m in total after the playoffs/promotion so that put me back in the black. I moved a couple of players on for small fees and released a couple, I will let the under 18s staff go and and operate with only the first team and loan the rest out to hopefully stem the losses. Will also move on anyone not justifying their wage. Facilities No improvements at all this year, every request was denied due to our financial situation League one here we come

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Energie Cottbus - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - 2. Bundesliga Squad | Transfers | Finances Pretty close to last season, but it's more than enough to keep my happy. We are still in the process of improving the club as a whole and getting in some good youth intakes. That said, a few of the youngsters have already made an impact this season, so we are getting better and better as a team. The season started a bit sluggish, but we also faced 3 of the teams that finished in the top 4 in the first 5 matches of the season, so we clearly had a rough start. After getting over that slump, we started to slowly pick up more points and slowly work our way up the table. In the end finishing 7th is very good compared to the media predicting us rock bottom. After the season the board also decided to build a new stadium! DFB-Pokal: We beat Plauen and Bochum before we lost to RB Leipzig in the 3rd round. Best players from the academy: Giannis Michailidis 25c - Seeing as we lost a few central midfielders over the summer, I decided to use Giannis as a BWM, and he took the challenge. His average rating is a bit meh, but he has grown a lot this season. Ertuğrul Köksal 25g - Wasn't that highly rated when he came through, but has had a great development since and at the end of the season he was the first choice left back! OlivierL
23 hours ago, Perre8 said: Season 10 FC Wacker Innsbruck After a very busy period at work, home etc, I managed to find some time to complete season 10. Great job ! first to do it in Austria, really fast and not an easy nation

ajancsiii
Békéscsaba Előre 1912 Hungary Season 13 2036/2037 Competitions: Another dominating performance on the domestic stage but unfortunately we failed to reach the top 16 again in the Champions League, although we could have been luckier at the draw, we did not pose a very serious challenge to PSG yet. Squad: Youth intake: We have our first Ivorian and Uruguaian players because of our affiliate deals. Elite Talents: Unfortunatelly, based on the first evaluation, we don't have elite talent this year Transfers: Things worth mentioning: unfortunately we couldn't keep 32e, if it turned out this way at least we managed to conclude a deal of around €80-100M with the clause a few months later, I watched him win the Golden Boy award as a proud father another two affiliate deals with wonderkid factory teams I am a 5* coach now

Perre8
i actually got Castel di Sangro in my second load with an italian lower db. So i might consider taking them into the next youth challenge.
Popular Post Winski
I also decided to give Italy a go. I try a save in Italy every year, but it's such a difficult country for this challenge. There are many, many nice clubs to choose from. But most clubs don't have good finances, so it's very hard to upgrade facilities to get some nices intakes. And the Serie C is a very difficult league to get out of. But I think I have found my club: Campobasso Football Club. A nice badge, nice kits, a good background story. It's a club from a region(Molise) without any big football clubs. And their finances are quite healthy for this level. Some good sponsor deals, and also a very big stadium(25K seats). The club got American owners, so let's see if that will help a bit.
Popular Post JLAB
AFC Telford United - Season 2 Having finished 7th last season, dropping to 14th place could be considered a disappointment, but ultimately, we were never in danger of being dragged into a relegation fight. I finished my National A Licence this season. I'm studying for my Continental C Licence this season. The youth intake provided me with some exciting players. I'll post the link to the video where I go over the season in much more detail than this. Chris Bell is the player that I am the most excited about. He has many attributes that I want in a player and a good personality. Aron Hibbert is one of those players who has a lot of potential but doesn't seem to know what he wants to become. Johnny McNally is my first proper right-back so far, and I hope we can help him become our best right-back on the team. John Musselwhite is a player that I like the look of, even if he feels more like a wide player than a central one. However, Csaba Kiss is the player I'm the most excited about. While I had a Hungarian come through my youth intake, I don't know, but I can't complain when he's as useful-looking as this. I also managed to convince the board to improve our training facilities after we had an amazing FA Cup run, which took us to the 3rd round of the competition. We also improved our youth recruitment. We also improved our junior coaching. I was named the favourite for the Blackpool job, but no interview came after I refused to consider the League One job in the media. I was also linked with the MK Dons job, another League One team. Suddenly, my work at Telford United seems to be attracting press attention. We've now had over 100 games in charge of Telford. Our goals have slowed down a little bit, but we are a very average team these days. Getting our training facilities back to Good and seeing our junior coaching and youth recruitment get to average is also helpful. Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2026/27 | Serie C/B Same place and even same amount of points as last season, keeping a safe position until youngsters are ready to boost us. Coppa Serie С Won the first game in three years. Squad stats Just like in our first season, Giordani finished as the best goalscorer and Bartolini had the highest rating. Both of them and our best assistant Curcio are well over 30, that's really concerning as well as the fact that our best scoring striker Henrique didn’t sign a new contract and leaves to Brazil. Transfers Youth intake (preview) Hyseni *27a | Aziri *27b | Maiolo *27c | Malotti *27d | Girotto *27e | Bertini *27f Two wingers lead this intake, so I guess we’ll change from our current narrow formation in a few seasons. Also we got first two players poached (they don’t look very promising anyway) and signed a new HOYD – model citizen Daniel Congre. First notable achievement for the academy - our U20 team won promotion to the third tier. Another recruitment upgrade.
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 21 - End of Year Review & Youth Intake League - 14th We flirted with the top and the bottom of the league, but ultimately it was just another lower mid table finish. Disappointing really as at the start of the year we looked like we could compete at the top of the table. The Squad We have started to integrate a few new players into the team as I am trying to target some of those with 5 * potential who can take us to the next level. We always seem to have a bunch of very good CBs (DCs), long may it continue but I wish we could spread the talent around a bit more. Finances A couple of years in a row in J1 does wonders for the bank balance. Pity my board won't let me spend it on anything Youth Intake An interesting looking intake with a couple of players who look very tasty indeed! I signed all tagged. Top 3 - Youth Intake 21 Hiroshi Yamada (YP21A) A very quick little winger and honestly one who is as good at 15 as anything (winger wise) we have in our first team right now. Could be a star, but the personality does worry me. Will work on Passing immediately and also train on Strength too. Excited as this may be one of the most promising players to come from the intake in a few years, Hironobu Okuno (YP21B) The physicals are not impressive, but the professional personality as well as pretty good starting mental and technical attributes means that he is one who has a good chance of at least making it into the first team, if not the starting 11. Shunta Nakayama (YP21C) Another winger, not quite as quick as his counterpart, and more raw in general. We need more depth on either wing so perhaps will be able to push his way into the first team while still in his teens.

mehesa
Békéscsabai Előre FC - Season3 (2026/27) Season results: This time we finally made it to the Division I. We started the season with a fantastic 15 match unbeaten run... we took the lead after 5 games and did not let it go until the very end. The promotion was achieved 3 games before the end and the championship was won 1 match before the last one by beating our main rival Vasas 3-0. Boldizsár Borbély was the top goalscorer in the league and I have received the Head Coach of the Year in Division II. In the cup we were not so successful than last season, lost to Szolnok in the Fourth Round (1/32). Spoiler Transfers: There were no player movements. Spoiler Key players: Boldizsár Borbély was our top goalscorer again with 26. But I also have to highlight midfielder Váradi (8 goals, 8 assists and 7.18) and centerback Fazekas (7.03) who also made it to the Team of the Season. From our club-grown players I have to mention the great performance of Ábel Benjámin Mag (Class 2025) with 9 goals, 5 assists and 7.04 average rating who was third in the contest for Young Player of the Year award Spoiler Youth intake: We had only one Elite player this season, but there are lots of good Top players, especially the defence can be strengthened with Class 2027. I also can't complain about the personalities this time. Spoiler Club progress: Finally, we made it to the Division I which is a huge step for us. It should give us a nice boost financially. I also was able to get some upgrades during the season, but I am not sure that in the beginning of next season the board will allow too many facility upgrades, since they started a big project to install undersoil heating in the stadium. The club's reputation has grown a bit due to this promotion. Spoiler One step closer to the final goal, the next one should be to reach the international competitions. However in our first season in Division I my main goal will be to avoid relegation and to familiarize my young players with this level of football. It will be tough, since it seems I will lose some of my better players. Midfielder Máté Tóth's contract expires and he has no intention to extend it, but my first-choice keeper Czinanó and right winger Máris also wants to leave with still 1 year in their contracts: I hope I can keep them. Winski
Campobasso Football Club Season 1 | 2024/2025 Serie C/Girone C Transfers | Facilities | My first season with Campobasso went really well! We finished 2nd in the Serie C Girone C, so it was a really good season for us. We challenged for the league title for a very long time, but overall I'm very happy. With this 2nd place we qualified for the Qtr Final of the Play-offs. We met Padova, who finished 6th in the Serie C Girone A. Away we played 4-4, and at home we draw 3-3. But we managed to qualify for the Semi Finals because of a higher seed. In the Semi Finals we played against Ascoli, who finished 2nd in the Serie C Girone B. Away we played 2-2, and at home 1-1, but we lost after penalties. So we nearly qualified for the Play off Finals in our first season! Best players this season were: Alban Jakaj, the young Kosovan striker who scored 17 goals in total. Alessio De Cerchio, our creative midfielder and bossed our midfield, together with Zakaria Sdaigui Alessio Rasi, our leftback with 14 assists in total Lorenzo Persichini, one of our strikers, and our MVP with 14 assists and 9 goals in total Youth preview and intake The intake wasn't that good, although it is our very first intake preview. The actual intake, with Toni Savevski as our HoYD, gave us one Elite Talent and a handfull of Top Talents. Some of them looks quite promising, so let's see how they will develop. Spoiler Upgrades As our finances were quite good, I was able to get some very welcome upgrades. Junior Coaching budget twice and Youth Recruitment once, and an upgrade of our Youth Facilities. Unfortunately our Training Facilities were downgraded at the end of the season, due to technological advances. Hopefully I'm able to upgrade the Training Facilities again.
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 22 - Japan J1 League - Mid Season Review & Youth Intake Preview League We once again stormed out of the gates, but this time we have actually kept it up. Let's just hope we can keep it up for the rest of the season! This is all despite having to sell one of our best players in Naoki Tsujimoto (YP15B) - luckily that CB (DC) position is our strongest in terms of depth and youth prospects. Other News - Most Creative Defender Speaking of strength in defence, we play our LB on Full Back Attack overlapping our LM on Inverted Winger. The relatively new to the first team Haruhiko Ninomiya (YP14K) has been the most creative defender in the league so far this season! Training Upgrade Two years in the J1 League and the above sale put our bank balance over 10 million and finally the board allowed another upgrade, in our Training Facilities. Youth Intake Preview A decent little preview, hopefully we get that Attacking Midfielder, as we could do with some midfielders in general. Scraborn
I must have harmed the dog of the clubowners... we are still in VNN with Macclesfield (after a restart) now we are in year 3(4) have around 1.5m € in the bank and my board doesnt want to improve youth facilities because of "you should look elswhere for neu players" and if i want to improve the training facilities a second time "we are concerned because of our financial status (secure)" and Im not able to ask for a better recruitement (6) or junior coaching (6) because it wont show up this season to ask... this year the intake doesnt look that promissing in december and because of my board saying no to basicly every idea I have I start getting mad - any hope?
Riebow
Olot UE Season Review (43/44): A season of tears Europe We'll switch things up from now on and start with Europe as this is the last part of the challenge we have yet to finish. Once again the Quarter finals were the final stop and once again Newcastle was the culprit. We tied them 2-2 at their place, so everything was still to play for in the return leg at home. We seemed to be the superior team, but we couldn't get the ball in the net. Just when it seemed we would go to extra time, they hit us with a near post corner. A really undeserving loss and exit out of the CL. That Newcastle game... An XG of 2, but we were unable to score. Spoiler League Another heartbreak followed in the league. We were top of the table for most of the season, mostly because we were 2 games ahead of Barçelona. However, unexpectedly Barçelona started to drop some points, giving us a 3 points lead on the penultimate game: a home game againt Barçelona. The match started as badly as could be expected and we were down 0-2 at half time. With nothing else to lose we went all-in Attacking and miraculously we fought back to 2-2. Wishing to keep the draw I reverted to a very defensive tactic with 3 CB's, with one in cover, and 4 DM's, hoping to prevent balls behind our defense. So obviously they score on a deep ball behind our defense. This game... NB: look at that gap between the 'big three' and the rest of the league.... Spoiler Copa Our worst performance in the cup, where we were knocked out in the 4rd round against Huelva, who were bottom of the 2nd tier! We were up 0-2 and seemed to be cruising to an easy victory and somehow conceded three goals in the final 30 minutes. Spoiler Super Cup A useless competition where we somehow managed to beat Real in order to get hammered by Barçelona in the final. Spoiler Youth intake A lot of A's in the preview, but the actual intake was pretty dissapointing, more so because of the personalities. My HOYD is basically as good as is possible, so I guess this is just a bad roll of the dice. Joan Ramon was labelled as 'one of the most gifted players to come through our academy' so we'll see in a couple of years. I didn't sign many of them. Spoiler NXGN After a short hiatus, we're back on top of the NXGN. This time the honours went to Emili Dominguez, with 2 more players in the top 20 Spoiler Emili Dominguez(DL/WBL/ML; Resolute) 18 years old and already has the label 'Wonderkid'. I don't believe I've ever had this with a player this young. He became our starting left back by the end the season. I'm hoping he might become our first truly world class player. His Natural fitness of 5 is a problem though... Spoiler Facundo Campanella(AML/STC; Fairly Ambitious) This one really surprised me, he finished 8th on the NXGN list, while playing for our U19's... Spoiler Marko Stankovic(STC; FaIrly Determined) We don't lack in strikers. Stankovic has spent the past 2 seasons on loan in his native country of Croatia. Next season the plan is to find a good 2nd division team for him. Spoiler Best XI Really our best season, with a lot of players well over the 7 average rating mark. Robert Alsina is still our number one, but I wished I could upgrade. He really let us down at the end ot the season. We have two exciting wing backs with Carlos Boriba and Emili Dominguez, while center back remains our achilles heel. There're some youngsters I will promote to the first team next season and hopefully one of them will account to something. The law firm of Sebastian & Esteban kept control of midfield, while Jose Manuel had another amazing season with 16 assists and 23 goals coming from the left wing. Joan Miquel Sollivelles had another major injury, so Henry Ike played most of the season as our lone striker. Spoiler 5 years ago... It's fair to say the PA on Carlos Boriba was very misleading, as he easily ended up being the best of the bunch. Noa Bruneel has been unlucky in his development with some bad injuries and equally bad loan spells. Isidre was rated as the player with the highest potential, but is still playing at tier 3 level. Marçal is stil worth mentioning as a player who might make the team someday. At this point in the save getting a starter out of an intake should be considered a success as we're pretty much stacked on most positions save for GK and CB. Spoiler Next season Rinse and repeat. It's Champions League or bust
