SkiIIs
15 hours ago, andershs said: I am faced with a difficult situation as a newly promoted team in the Championship. Most of the players that have carried this team are now coming to me asking for new contracts. The problem is, that they are asking for wage amounts that are fair in the Championship, but which I am nowhere near being able to give them on our tiny wage budget. As a result, a handful of my best players are only on a contract for another year and will leave thereafter. How do you handle situations like this? I fear, I have to try and maximize the amount of money from these players and then accept a major rebuild of the squad over a number of years. I faced something similar the season before. I ended up selling one player which then provided the cash injection to adjust the wage budget and managed to resign others during the season
Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2039/40 - Macclesfield FC - Premier League Our first season in the big league and I couldnt have asked for a better start. We won our first game at home and by our 10th game we were sitting in the European spots in 6th position. The 3 games leading into the 10th match of the season were a 3 - 3 draw at Man City (copped a 91st min equaliser), 1 - 1 draw against Arsenal (copped a 76th equaliser) and a strong 3 - 1 win at Stamford Bridge. We then slumped to 5 straight defeats but against teams that all finished in the top 10 but managed to turn it around for 3 games, beating Fulham 4 - 0 and Villa 2 - 0 and drawing with Newcastle 1 - 1 away. We then crumbled and pretty much threw the season away losing the next 15 out of 20 matches. With the riches of the TV rights, we managed to improve the training facilities but kept getting denied with the Youth Facilities for some reason until the end of the season they agreed to improve the Youth Rating to 1 which enforced improvements to said YF. The board also approved plans to expand our stadium from 14k which we sold out every game to 21k which is a decent increase. We then were put under a club embargo for a takeover which promoted the fact that Wayne Rooney would take my position. Luckily tho, after months of anxiety that takeover collapsed and I find myself still at the role. Spoiler Youth Preview A much better preview which got me really excited, I had forgotten what the letter A looked like Youth Intake Bit of an anticlimax with only 1 elite prospect and that only being 4.5 stars at that Isaac Umar 40A is the pick of the bunch although im not sure how he's managed to defend in his youth days with 5 tackling. Faris Tunnacliffe 40B looks ok, is pacy and determined but still very raw. Dom King 40C might be the one who excels the most as his attributes arent too bad for a playmaker. Popular Post libbyshuss
Belgium Lyra Lierse 2061/62 Season Summary Our best season yet - at times we were unplayable and only lost 1 game from Christmas to the end of the season. Pro Jupiler League - WINNERS we weren't so good at the start of the season so went into the championship group in second place. but, as we've done many times before, we really turned it on and went unbeaten for all ten games, meaning we romped to our TENTH league title! Champions League - LOST IN QUARTER FINAL TO SPURS But that doesn't tell the whole story! we were phenomonal this year, blasting though the league stages including, most satisyingly, a 2-1 home victory against the reigning champions Spurs. It meant we managed to qualify straight to the round of 16 for the first time ever. We were looking good! We got Spurs in the quarter finals, lost the first leg 4-2, won the second leg 4-2, only to go out to a 116th minute goal. It was heartbreaking, especially as Spurs went on to win the whole thing again. So we ended up beating the Champions League Winners TWICE and still got nothing..... bah! Players A couple of wonderkids, but not a surprise. I've never had an intake with two most obviously going to make it youth player ever. And they're both looking absolutely superb Youth I've had some amazing intakes recently so I was expecting some sort of reaction in terms of regressing to the mean, and this year i got it. I actually lolled at the intake, especially my HoYD's valiant attempt to put a positive spin on it. I can't stay mad at him though, he got me Knol 59A and Guilloteau 59B Narrator: Mael Hrault will not be one of the most gifted players to come through the youth ranks in recent years. Career We have our most balanced team in years, with 3 or 4 genuine superstars. We've never been better placed to properly challenge for the champions league. Maybe next season....? Popular Post Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2037/38 | Serie A Somehow we survive, but I need to admit that my assistant Musacci is a much better manager than myself. After getting one win in first 14 games I was fed up with seeing this and delegated all later matches to him… and we climbed up after it, defeating Milan (eventual champions and cup winners), Lazio (our fierce rivals) and Juventus (despite finishing 12th, they are still a big team). Next season certainly woudn't be easier. Coppa Italia Repeated our best cup performance and could even hope for more, equalizing from 0-2 against Juventus but they responded quickly with third goal. Squad stats No one really stands out this season, though Magri won the best U19 player award and Caforio appeared as a new starting center-back after Renai’s departure. Transfers – Renai moved to a bigger club… that relegated to Serie B (promoted back now, so we’ll face him next season). We got a good fee for his remaining year of contract, though it doesn't seem so big now after a season in Serie A! Youth intake (preview) Sardelli *38a | Roventini *38b | Vultaggio *38c | Losa *38d | Porciani *38e | Ferrara *38f | De Nuzzo *38g Seven elite prospects, recent investments surely paid off! The TV contract here is just enormous for our current level, at least while wages are very low comparing to any other team in the league. So we arrange next facilities upgrade and started planning a new stadium (our century-old ground had sellouts almost in every Serie A game).
Popular Post bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic First Division (Season 3) Our best season yet, finishing third in the league and making it to the promotion playoff. Unfortunately, we will be playing in the First Division for at least another season as we lost in the final. Transfers: Youth candidates: Best prospect: So we are now heading into our fourth season without any changes in the first team for the first time since I started this challenge. I think that should help us challenge for the league this time so the goal is promotion.
Popular Post HaylingZar
Macclesfield FC - 2032-33 Season - Season 9 - Sky Bet League 1 (Tier 3) - 1st (Champions!) Season Update BACK-TO-BACK! YES! This team is just amazing. We're going to the bloody championship already! If you told me 3 seasons ago that we would win back-to-back promotions I would have told you that you were insane. But against all odds, we did it. We started the season about as well as expected, narrowly scraping a couple of wins, drawing a few games, and taking a loss or two. But our form picked up in earnest in October as we won 5 of 6 games. We were undefeated in November (sound familiar?) and then went on to have the best December we've ever had: Despite a taxing 7 league games, we were up to the challenge and emerged with 5 wins and 2 draws. Of course, all good things must come to an end, so as is traditional the January transfer window brought naught but tribulation. My old nemesis reared his ugly head... And despite a stellar first half of the season, this would cause our squad's morale to crater and we lost 4 of the next 7 games. Our form would slowly start to improve throughout the next month and despite a number of ineffectual team talks: We were able to battle to a couple of wins in February which would provide a much-needed morale boost. This would prove essential as we entered perhaps the most important game of the season when title challengers Millwall came to our place in a crucial 6-pointer at the end of February. The victor would cement their position in first place in the league table. We opened the scoring when Davies was left unmarked at the near post and volleyed home a corner in the 22nd minute, and he would contribute an assist just 3 minutes later with an incredible long-range pass to Stewart. The visitors didn't give up and brought one back at the 29-minute mark following a Set Piece situation. Reluctant to relinquish our advantage, Richardson took the ball into his feet with his back to goal. and hammered home our third on the half-turn. We were already beginning to celebrate when Millwall scored again, but it was too little too late for the visitors. We emerged the rightful winners of a hard-fought game and secured the top spot on the table. 5 draws in the next 7 put our position under question, but title challengers Milwall also had a spell of poor form towards the end of the season, losing 2 more games before we went into the penultimate game of the season. We knew that if we won both the final two games, or if Millwall failed to do so, we would be crowned champions. We began the match at home against 13th-placed Burton full of confidence, but nothing would separate the teams at half-time. We started to worry when the visitors were dubiously awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute, but a combination of nerves, the torrential rain, and our fans' jeers from behind the goal were enough to unsettle the taker and his effort was ultimately denied by the upright. With still nothing to separate the teams by the 90th minute, we held our breath as we went into extra time. The result was ultimately decided by a 93rd-minute corner, as Hopkins launched a ball towards the near post and it was calmly headed home by Davies. The full-time whistle blew, we checked the scores and saw that Millwall had been squarely beaten 3-1 by Barnsley. We were champions! Overall, the season went about as well as we could have hoped. I have every faith that we will give a good account of ourselves in the Championship next season, and use that solid foundation to build towards a promotion challenge in the years to come. Youth Candidates Another OK year for Youth with 2 good prospects coming through. John Gair will be retrained as a striker as I don't utilise CMs or CAMs in either of my main tactics. He has a professional personality so I have a lot of hope for his future. Key Player This was more of a year of general team accomplishments rather than individual performances, so I'd like to recognise our captain Rainford for the second time. He has incredible leadership ability at the age of 23 and will likely remain our captain for some years to come. He's also a great physical player who can outpace most players at this level. Hot Prospect Özkan Polat has broken through into the first team and made 50 senior appearances for the club already. He's a very consistent performer with great mental and physical attributes. He has very high potential so it will take some convincing to stop him from departing for another club in the future. With his emergence, I've been redeploying Davies to the right fullback position. Transfers Nothing really of note this year, don't think we sold anyone important really. Spoiler Squad Spoiler League Table Spoiler Club Info No improvements to facilities this season, I imagine this will remain this way until we either reach the top flight or sell some players. Also noticed that I'm a club legend now, neat! Spoiler Finances We're broke! The championship money can't come soon enough. Spoiler Thanks all for reading and I hope to update you again soon after my next season.

Daddy
Season 2 - 2025/26 - Czechia - Second Division: The team was fairly weak defensively and our better offensive players were very injury prone. I wasn't expecting to push for the top of the table but was hoping for better than 13th place. Regardless, we comfortably stayed up points-wise. When they finally weren't injured they were asking to leave. In addition to the Morale Manager sales, two players also retired. three of the four were still useful players for me. Early in a TC run as much as I'd love a superstar I'm looking for quality depth, and seeing the break down of the B & C Rated prospects in optimal positions for me was a relief. Currently: 2* = Good 3rd division player 4* - Standard 2nd division player That was exactly the intake I was hoping for. Players that are good enough to be backups with starting potential while we go through a few seasons of roster churn and development. 2026/27 Season Preview: Since the season turned over I've had two more starters force their way out, two players announce exploring options at the end of the season, and two others mad about one of the players from last season being sold instead of letting his contract expire (I got 16K two weeks before it expired, I am confused why they're mad). I remain cautiously optimistic despite the previous sentence and low expectations of the media and board. Might be a tougher season though.

I disabled the in-game editor on the setup of the save, but here it's showing it's both used and disabled. Unless there's another setting to enable and disable the editor is this just a weird bug and I'm fine here? I'm not that far into the save but the team is clicking and I don't want to start over if possible. Not sure if someone has already answered this, but it is a glitch when you have purchased the In-Game editor but then have it turned off for a new save. As it says "In-game editor allowed - No". It can't be used. I had the same issue when I tried (and failed) the San Marino Challenge
naterr
After many, many (14 in total!) reloads to get the team I wanted.... Alex Jones has been hired by Merthyr Town FC. Little is known about Alex Jones's football style, but there have been strange reports of him being "scared" to make any signings, preferring to work with the players already at the club or from the youth academies. The board have not commented on these rumours but appear to be happy with their new manager, mainly because he is cheap! I have been debating for a while now what my next save should be. Either a Youth Academy save or a Build a nation. So I have decided to do a bit of both combined. I was inspired by another member who also is using Merthyr, and figured I can also take on the task of bringing a world cup to Wales whilst getting Merthyr to the top. I am hoping I can also increase the league reputation back in Wales too by loaning them players (if I can figure out a way to target just those clubs!) Or once we have overtaken them we can loan them to other Welsh teams who play in England. Also, Alex Jones is wearing a lovely Green suit and red time to show his patriotism. The club did have a transfer lined up when I joined....I replied in the only way appropriate to the media. Some good news - Our best player looks pretty decent, however we only have 14 in total! Welsh Club Updates: Unfortunately, TNS won the Cymru premier, and all the Welsh Clubs in England stayed in their divisions for another year. Even if we are solid mid-table, I can't really ask for more currently. And we managed to a major cup run to win the FA Cup, I'm just elated. We really need to get the board to accept improvements to our youth facilities though, as they keep rejecting it for some reason. I mean, we have over £100m in the bank, and club vision to develop youngsters, so I can't see why they would reject it... But here we are. Popular Post diegolawliet
AFC Telford United (Pre-season 3 - 2026/27) [<-] PREVIOUS SEASON Oh my god, again. This season was unbelievable. Every match counted, and I watched the last two matches with a huge intensity. It was insane. We made 4 loses and 1 draw in our lasts 5 matches but well, it doesn't matter anymore. We have to improve for the next season. We only lost Dinanga, so it shouldn't be an excuse to be a worse team than the season before. The season preview placed us in the 22nd place, that's real, but I didn't expect fighting the regelation zone until the last minute. And I'm serious, Southport won the game against Bradford PA in the 86'. It was insane. We haven't found our system in this season, sadly. We lost our best player, Ricardo Dinanga, at the beggining of the season. We also lost Fraser Kerr by retiring. Kyle Storer will retire in a couple of weeks. He did it so bad this season. I mean I don't want to be mean, but he sucked. I hope he find happiness the next year. Some stats: Jordan Piggott was the only player who played more than 4000 minutes; Xavier Shaw had a good season with 7 goals and 10 assists; Twariq Yusuf had great matches and poor ones too, he couldn't be the player that we needed with the Dinanga transfer out; Alex Coultas [25-A] is the best player from our first generation of regens, the assistand had told me and he was right. With him in the field things could happen. Hopelly he'll be more consistant the next season. I'm a little disappointed with Theodore Alabi [25-B], and I think Aaron Mercer [25-E] did okay. Sorry for the faces, I changed them after I took the screenshots. However, it seems like a promising generation, with seven players in the 'Elite' section. I don't have much to say because I haven't analyzed them yet. For the next season I have to think about how big I want to have the squad. Currently we have 45 players and I believe it is a lot, because many of them don't play games and are not ready for real matches if needed. I will probably release 5-10 players for the beggining of season 2026/27. Popular Post michiganhugefan
Undy Athletic 2028/29 Season 5 Finances|Transfers|Manager Profile After 2 seasons in the top division and our strongest youth intake (and a 3 month hiatus from playing Football Manager on my part) we hoped to have our best season yet. JD Cymru Welsh Premier League Spoiler At the Split We were very strong against the bad teams this year. We still stuck with the 3 striker formation, but with having a marked improvement in our goalkeeping I think our goal preventing was much better and served us well as we pretty easily made the championship phase of the league and had virtually assured our survival by mid December. Final Table Due to a late season collapse by Barry we actually climbed our way into 3rd, which would be good enough for a Conference League Qualification as long as TNS or Bala won the the Welsh Cup. In League/European news we have a bit of a change coming next season. I think this means the European Places Playoff is going to be back on the menu, something I completely missed not existing when we jumped up to the Premier League, but an extra spot should theoretically make it easier to qualify for Europe, thanks TNS for doing well enough in Europe to bring about this change. Nathaniel MG League Cup Spoiler Nothing much to note here. League Cup is lowest priority so we're fine losing early. Welsh Cup Spoiler We fairly easily made it through our first three rounds of the league cup with our only blip being that 1-1 (4-2 on penalties) result against Llanelli Town. The quarterfinals are the farthest we had gone in any previous season. Matching up against TNS twice before to bow out at the final 8. Quarterfinal Llangefni Town 3 Undy Athletic 5 We dodged TNS in the Quarterfinal, pairing up with Llangefni Town, a team that would be relegated from the JD Cyrmu North at season's end, so certainly a favorable draw at this point in the competition. A tense game where we were finally able to get a win in this high scoring match, Although with a highlight in the 96th minute that finally ended with a goal from the good guys it was a tense one. We had stellar performances from our attacking players as Iolo Garner 28a and Ryan Morgan 28c combined on 3 of the goals in what was certainly an exciting sign for me. The defense wasn't great but good enough to allow us through and Truman Stout 28b had a decent game as we were through to the Semifinal. Semifinal Undy Athletic 3 Afan Lido 1 We drew Afan Lido who finished 6th in the Premier League in one semifinal as TNS and Caernarfon were paired up in the other semifinal. For 80 minutes this was a super frustrating game as it looked like we were about to throw away our Welsh Cup final ambitions the day after we had seen TNS and Caernarfon go to penalties, with Caernarfon giving TNS a huge cup shock as they won 4-3 on penalties after drawing 1-1 in the match. At 80s minutes, a goal down but a man up I decided to go for broke. I brought on as much attack as I could and switched to what I would describe as either a 2-1-7 (since I only put players at CAM because they couldn't be put at striker) or a 2-3-5 (2 CDs, 1 CM, 2 CAMs, 1 AML, 1 AMR, 3 ST). And it paid off as we took back two goals and even ended up with a third once I moved everyone into some semblance of a normal formation once we had taken the lead. Welsh Cup Final Apparently this was the first time both ourselves and Caernarfon Town would be matching up in the final. Undy Athletic 3 Caernarfon Town 1 We won the Welsh Cup! It's funny in hindsight, I was super excited and shocked when I saw Caernarfon had beaten TNS, as it opened up a path to Continental qualification to us that didn't involve an unlikely comeback in the league or having to beat TNS in the cup final. But with us actually finishing 3rd we would have qualified after losing to TNS, but had we lost to Caernarfon we would've been out. Doesn't matter though because we were able to take care of this one with lots of help from a 2029 Tagged Prospect who hasn't even been introduced yet. I gave Gabbiadini the start in what is going to be his last ever game at the club and he delivered very early with an assist to Iolo Garner 28a 13 seconds into the game. Caernarfon quickly equalized but further heroics would come in the 2nd half from our youngest player. Nuno Viegas 29a is without a doubt the best player to ever come through our youth team in terms of ability when graduating the academy. In the offseason he is already being shown with interest from TNS (ugh) and Huddersfield (a team in the English Championship currently). For now though he set another Welsh Cup record. With his two goals we secured the Welsh Cup, the first major trophy secured in our reign and we secured a spot in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Conference League for next season and the hopeful financial bump that will come from it. Just really good for everyone involved and a nice send off for our final holdovers who will be leaving in the offseason with a Welsh Cup winner's medal in their pockets. U19 League Spoiler Our U19 team finally put it together for an entire season and won the South Developmental League qualifying them for the Championship game against (who else) TNS David Walsh 25j is probably our best Youth player ever in terms of performance in U19 games and will be leaving after this year, but not without his best ever season, putting it all together to lead the U19 team to the Final. Unfortunately, even with some young senior team members dropping down for the final, they put up a good effort but ultimately lost to TNS on the day as TNS were crowned the Welsh Premier Developmental Champions. Overall a great season from the youth team that points to an exciting future, even as some key members will age out or leave the club after this season. Awards Spoiler The only award this year went to me, for Head Coach of the Year. Best Elevens Spoiler Iolo Garner 28a Ryan Morgan 28c Giancarlo Gabbiadini Ian Connor 27e Alex Jones 27c Adam Matthews 24a Adam Brown 27a Tristan Jones 27d Owen Nicholls 27f Sam Foley 27b Truman Stout 28b Benjamin Connelly 26f Jones 27g Owen 25a Davies 28g Morgan 26a Viegas 29a This is Gabbiadini's last season and he led the team in Assists. Morgan 28c led the team in goals but was injured for most of the Championship phase. Garner 28a had a horrid early season but was able to get things together in the 2nd half and end with a respectable amount of goals by the end of the season. On the defensive side of the field Jones 27d had a terrible season and gave a way a bunch of penalties. Good performance by Ian Connor 27e that he hopefully can continue to bring forward as he develops. Mike Jones has retired and become an unemployed Head Coach. Steffan Jenkins has officially retired from football. Gabbiadini left at the End of his Contract and joined Blaenavon Blues in the JD Cyrmu South, Harry Benjamin left at the end of his contract and is a free agent. Tommy Larsen continues to be at Bangor 1876. Tagged Player Updates Spoiler Any players not listed here are not at the club as of the end of the 2029 season. 2024 Still a first team starter but with the improvement around him at the club he's no longer the best player anymore. Without him we wouldn't have won the Welsh Cup and he still has his name Sharpied into the starting XI 2025 He's our rotational Center Attacking Midfielder, still useful and a good piece but at the moment I feel like Ian Connor 27e's development might push him more to be 2nd on the depth chart instead of being 1b. If he wants a similar contract to the one he currently has after next year he will end up leaving the club. Definitely a hard one here, since I really wish that we could have built off his heroic work at right back when he became the #1 against the odds early in the save. Unfortunately there just isn't a spot for him anymore and he'll be gone at the end of next season, one of my favorites but just not a spot for him. 2026 Our fill-in at left back and right back. Important to the club. Not a great season but can end up in the starting XI at any time. Now fairly buried in our MC depth chart, at best a 4th option currently to fill the bench as a more defensive minded central midfielder We're transitioning him to an amateur contract, he's done okay off the bench but just think he'll be overtaken soon by other prospects for CD depth spots so don't want to commit actual money towards him. U19 players with another year left but no future prospects in the 1st team. 2027 A rotational left back who tends to perform at left back for us, although definitely splits time with Nick Morgan, Our starting Right Back, had an okay season and is still our top right back going forward. Forgot to take a pic with last seasons stats. 35 appearances, all starts, 1 goal, 5 assists, 6.80 average rating 4 POTMs. Our starter in the more defensive midfield role. One we've transitioned to actually sit in the DM spot. decent season, but not great and he has a direct competitor for playing time who came through in the 2029 youth intake. Had a shocking season, gave away about 8 penalties and just generally did not play well at all. We don't really have much depth at CB so we kept playing him but he needs to turn it around or he'll be uprooted from his spot. Split between the U19s and top team and actually excelled for both. Definitely have an eye towards him being our starting CAM next season if he starts off performing the way he did this season. Probably our top performing Center Back this season, not that any of them performed well, but I'm glad he's continued to grow a bit and if I had to pick a #1 CB between him and 27d I'd pick him. Maybe unfortunate for him, but I'm more inclined to pick him if we're playing a formation with 2 CMs then a formation with a CM and a DM, which I'm currently favoring. He has good positional versatility which I values on the bench but once I tried to more accommodate Alex Jones 27c, he fell back to being more depth than someone I was expecitng to use every game. Trained him into being more of a forward and he actually had a really good season in the U19s, we'll see, if things go badly for strikers maybe he gets a chance, but at least he's showed he had something this year in theory. Not developing in the way I would hope for. Wanted to see him make strides to the AMC role but hasn't come through in that area yet. Didn't get any game time in the U19s this year, not a great sign but with openings after various top performers left the club maybe he'll get more run so we can see something out of him. For how much the U19s banged in goals, fairly disappointed in his U19 output, although it's not like I expect much from him anyways. Backup U19 keeper, GK depth is always important but we currently have 28b who has 1st team keeper on lock at the moment. Made the bench a little bit for the first team while playing for the U19 team, ability to play DC and DL could be helpful. For now a fringe bench player Backup and U19 starter. Unlikely to have any sort of future role 2028 Had a rough start to the season, but finally got his stuff together by the end of the season. Wouldn't have won the Welsh Cup without him, but hopefully he takes his form from the end of the season into next season instead of his woeful start of the year form. TNS are interested in him currently. Unfortunately I took this shot a little too late, having missed doing it at the end of the season, but I think the movement from a below average to average keeper was key to our movement up the table last season, so kudos to him. Had a big season, was our top goalscorer and 2nd best striker by average rating. Got injured midway through the season, but was just as good when he came back. Because of Adam Brown 27a's experience level and Nick Morgan 26a's versatility, I had Hartley spend the year mainly in the U19 squad where he played well. Due to fixture congestion and injury Hartley did get a few opportunities, we'll see if he gets ore play time next season. I've trained him up to be able to play striker for us and he even scored in the League this season, but much like Hartley he's a U19 player currently and he did pretty well there this season. He got a small amount of first team playing time at center mid but just like a few before he's being kept in the U19 squad as we have many other options unless we have a congestion or injury issue, his ability at CM is promising since I don't really want to play him at CD but even with CM not really being a huge strength he's a low option there anyways. Depth striker who did a decent job when called upon this year. Spent most of the year on the top squad bench rather than the U19s. Trying to work something out for him, but he hasn't trained into a central location yet so he's not playing in the U19s Just trying to get him to give depth at DL i guess, not much expectation for me. Working to also retrain him to the center. I feel like if we can get these guys comfortable enough to where they start getting picked in the U19s, maybe one of them'll hit but for now he's just getting training time, no more. Good to see one who can play MC or CAM as well for some versatility, seemed outmatched in the U18s this year but hopefully takes a step forward in that regard next year. Due to his versatility actually got some play in the 1st team this season. Didn't play particularly well, but probably more "excited" with his possible progression than anyone in the tags around him in the 2028 class. U19 player who if he could progress maybe he'd get some view at making the bench but for now just want to see how he does in the youth team going forward. Just another one of our goalkeepers Out at right back, may get more playing time next season in the U19s, though maybe not based on new youth intake. Just depth in the U19 at this point. Not a future here. 2029 Youth Intake Spoiler Another year, another possible banger of a youth intake Not sure quite what it means but they're all listed as Elite Talents, which I believe is a first for me on this save. Definitely the best player we've had come through the intake yet. Immediately into the team at ST and he scored 3 in 5, including 2 in the cup final where he proved instrumental. Can also play central mid which is great because he's our best CM and our best ST so if we need him in either area he can produce. Now he is pulling interest from TNS (who asked for him to come on trial with them) and Huddersfield in the English Championship, so who knows how long he will be at the club. Instantly our best CD imo, and he's even over 6 feet tall. Like Viegas he immediately was put into the starting XI and played until the end of the season. Another good striker who we immediately put in our rotation although with Nuno Viegas 29a, Iolo Garner 28a, and Ryan Morgan 28c being strikers he did come off the bench although he has already scored before the end of the season. Either as depth or as the starting DM, Ian Parker will be in the squad next year and already provided some playing time this year behind Alex Jones 27c. Could definitely be pushing into the starting XI next year if 27c starts cold. Gonna try to get him to provide DL cover but don't love the personality and he definitely isn't a defensive wizard or anything. Good depth at DR which has become a bit of a weak spot so maybe if things start poorly for Sam Foley 27b and Nick Morgan 26a he may nab the spot next season. Love the ability to naturally play both fullback slots for us, maybe a successor to Nick Morgan 26a's role as the bench player that always subs on based on which fullback ends up most injured. Or to allow us to have such a piece on the bench even when Nick Morgan 26a starts. Another CD although he's a short one, so we're trying to get him to be more of a CM for now. More DM cover, one for the U19s for now most likely Another CD but this one is very tall for a 15 year old. A fast one with good passing, gonna hopefully try to retrain him to CAM Another wide player but with his tackling I'm gonna try to get him to play Left Back. Also a 6th tier English club tried to immediately poach him on a free which was odd. Our Romanian GK, probably our 3rd choice now, but probably not much game time currently available to him. Another wide player we'll try to retrain to the center for now. Not the worst mentals, and I like the multiple positions but certainly one for the U19s at the moment. Yet another wide player to put to the middle hopefully. Another pretty awesome intake although the amount of wide midfielders when we don't use any does leave a lot to be desired. Top end talent looks very good. Wrap Up Notes Excited to get our first trophy as we won the Welsh Cup this year. I've already gone a little bit into the next season and we've finally been able to improve our youth facilities and youth recruitment off the back of the Conference League.
Popular Post Sdp9511
End-of-Season Review Season 2038/39 Le Puy Season Summary- The new season in the top division started off extremely well, we ended up 11th in the league with 36 points. Most of those points were gained at the start of the season, with our form being horrific from being of March onwards (we got 5 points from 10 games and 2 from the last 7). We were yet again one of the worst defensive teams in the league, with 78 goals conceded (2 per game). Our quite offensive 4-2-4 gives us opportunities to score, but at this level, the other teams are taking advantage of our weakness a lot better and punishing us a lot harder. Aside from the league, we nearly won the French Cup losing the finals 2-1 in extra time against Nice. Both of these results were surprising as when you look at the wage difference compared to the other teams the difference is quite stark, looking at the end of the season our salary is 115 times smaller than PSG's and 5 times smaller than 16th place Auxerre's. We also had our first 2 players included in the NXGN, with Clinton Nkem nearly winning it. I won an award last years, winning the Manager of the Year in Ligue 2 last year. While this season our LW Abdoulaye Diallo was the 3rd best African player in Ligue 1. \ After our first season in Ligue 1 and a record attendance of 4800 (Max Capacity) the board has decided to build a new stadium. Hopefully it will be a massive increase in size, similar to those of other Ligue 1 teams. Transfers- No major transfers, only the small sale of squad rotation player Falaye Traore. Youth Candidates- The intake preview seemed promising with the potential for some new cm's being particularly hopeful. With 3 elite talents, 1 of which being a quality midfielder I was pretty happy. We also got another quality RB and a decent CB who sadly has low determination. Salemme is the best of the bunch a defensively-minded CM who is already better at defending than all of my current CDM's, his other stats still need to improve but he could make some appearances for us next season already. Key Players POTS/YPOTS- Our POTS was Bacque, while I don't believe he was the best player this season as he did most of his work from the bench. His stats were quite good, maybe next season he will get more starts. Top Scorer- Clinton Nkem was our top scorer in the league with 11 goals. He us by far our best attacker and the media believes him to be the next Mbappe, hopefully, they are correct and he can help me stay in this division. Best new youngster- Usually I place someone from last season's intake who has played a few games for the first team here, but Masson our best player from that intake only played 2 games. On the other hand, Botamba has become a squad player in our team even though our HOYD did not sign him up. He was only a good talent and was the 12th-best talent we signed. He only had 2 full star potential when we first signed him up and now at 18 he has become a starter and our best CM Career Record After Season Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Win Percentage Time At Club ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 37 12 13 12 64 62 -2 32.0% 328 days 2025/26 74 32 23 19 133 104 29 43.0% 730 days 2026/27 111 37 33 41 168 171 -3 33.0% 1074 days 2027/28 148 53 45 50 230 220 10 35.0% 1431 days 2028/29 192 77 57 58 313 271 42 40.0% 1816 days 2029/30 232 90 65 77 380 353 27 38.0% 2181 days 2030/31 269 101 72 96 428 416 12 37.0% 2550 days 2031/32 305 111 78 116 480 493 -13 36.0% 2903 days 2032/33 341 124 86 131 548 554 -6 36.0% 3298 days 2033/34 379 138 94 147 621 624 -3 36.0% 3652 days 2034/35 419 157 100 162 697 688 9 37.0% 3999 days 2035/36 457 169 111 177 764 755 9 36.0% 4356 days 2036/37 494 187 118 189 834 813 21 37.0% 4723 days 3037/38 535 212 126 197 938 870 68 39.0% 5093 days 3038/39 575 226 135 214 1000 955 45 39.0% 5460 days Transfer Sale Record Date Player Position Club Sold To Country Transfer Fee --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1/9/2037 Fares Jaballah 11A RB RSC Anderlecht Belgium 4,600,000 (7,000,000) 15/8/2034 Rudy Lenourmand 8A CDM/CB RSC Anderlecht Belgium 4,700,000 (6,000,000) 31/1/2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 4c CDM Club Brugge Belgium 1,700,000 (2,300,000) 02/02/2037 Salvador Zounon 10L RW Lorient France 1,400,000 (1,700,000) Trophy Haul Season Competition Won -------------------------- 2037-2038 Ligue 2 Record Number of Appearances (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Appearances ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2023-present Gilles Comte 423 2025-present Andreas Kruger 378 2024-present Goran Grahovac 353 2025-present Ousmane Tine 349 2026-present Olivier Penot 306 Record Goal Scorer (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Goals ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Andreas Kruger 136 2025-present Ousmane Tine 61 2026-present Kevin Toure 54 2032-present Houssem Omrani 39 2024-present Goran Grahovac 38 Record Number of Assists (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Assists ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Ousmane Tine 67 2023-present Gilles Comte 51 2024-present Goran Grahovac 44 2025-present Andreas Kruger 39 2026-present Olivier Penot 36 Record Number of Clean Sheets (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Clean sheets ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2027-present Kevin Labonne 24 2032-present Abdoul Soro 1 Edited May 21 by Sdp9511
Virtual Male
16 hours ago, resurectedja said: So sad it ended like that, experienced something similar in Turkey when I was booted in season 8. Brutal and heartbreaking. Wishing you the best of luck in Italy. It all happened so quickly too, 5/6 losses on the bounce, new board in and I'm out of the door the next day. Oh, well! Gives me an excuse to start a new save doesn't it.
Popular Post Virtual Male
Victor San Marino 2024/25 Pre Season 1 After what he judged to me an unfair dismissal of his former manager fan favourite Ryan Astley tore up his contract with Merthyr Town and moved across Europe to pursue his own managerial career. At Victor San Marino he'll aim to follow in Hiemann's footsteps by refusing to use any player who hasn't been developed by the club from an early age, he's also determined to prioritise young talent from San Marino over Italian youngsters where possible. Can he make his mentor proud?
Popular Post bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic First Division (Season 4) Interesting season this was. We rotated a the squad a lot more this season than I did in the previous ones. We didn't make the promotion playoffs but we won the Icelandic Cup which means we're qualified for the European Conference Cup next season. Hopefully that means we'll make some money, we need it. Transfers: Youth Intake: Best new youth player: Next season's goal is the same as always, promotion.
Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2040/41 - Macclesfield FC - Championship A season back in the Championship was always going to be interesting to see if we were good enough to bounce back. It took a while before we found our groove and were hovering just outside the play offs for the first quarter of the season. We then hit some strong form around the midpoint of the year and hit top of the table however there were a lot of come from behind nuggety wins that werent all that deserved. Once we hit top, our form slowly dwindled and the question was then are we going to hold on to second spot. Our last 9 games of the season went like this LWDLLDLWL which meant we finished 4th. On the final day, we played Sunderland and were second by 1 point over them and West Ham. A draw wouldnt have been enough as West Ham won their game, but we also got smashed 4 - 0. We played Leicester away in the first Semi Final leg and lost that 2 - 0 and were looking all but out. However the home leg we rallied, with Andrew Rees 31D scoring a brace in the 10th and 14th minutes before getting injured for 4 weeks 5 minutes later. We scored a third just after the break to book ourselves a spot in the final, a remarkable turnaround after a disastrous couple months. A final against a West Ham team that we had lost twice two in the season with an aggregate score of 8 - 4. Make that 3 losses in the season with an aggregate of 10 - 4 as we didnt give the best account for ourselves in the final. We improved training facilities to reach Superb level, but kept getting knocked back to improve further and we finally hit Youth Rating 1 (after the intake came in). We were also taken over which didnt really impact us at all and the kept me in the top job so no issue there. At the end of the season, we moved into our new 21k capacity stadium, a couple weeks later they decided to expand the stadium by a further 6.5k seats and will be ready towards the start of the season which is great. We also had our first player poached from our youth squad - more upset about not having 'the tickler' in the squad Spoiler Youth Preview Was not overwhelmed by the preview Youth Intake Was not overwhelmed by the intake either. Really not getting the talent coming through the club which will impact us soon Tommy Johnson 41A is the top of his class and hopefully he can develop into a first team player in the future. I will give him the time to develop as he is quite raw still. Fairly Sporting is not a great personality tho. Luke Ponde 41B is an aggressive tackling defender but is mentally weak with low determination. Willie Anderson 41B is probably the player that has more of a chance of playing first team football in the future. Lots of pace, good heading and good head on his shoulders for a 15yo. resurectedja
FM23* Deportivo Armenio Season 2 – 2024 – First Division Surprisingly good and surprisingly unlucky second season. Let’s dive in The season preview said that we would finish dead last with 1000-1 odds of winning the title. As a dumb man once said, so you are saying there is a chance. The season started with the league cup. Going into it I thought we would struggle with relegation in the league, so I decided to keep rotating in the league cup, making sure everyone is as fit and as happy as possible. And then we started winning games, ten in total out of the 14 we played, beating even the great River . Got my hopes up, thought that we would get a legit trophy in our first season as topflight club. And you can guess what happened. We lost on penalties in the first playoff round after having like 2 xG. Good performance in the League Cup led to a new contract! And I also rejected Argentinos Jrs. Our start was brilliant, with a win against Boca . They really screwed up their preseason, playing with low sharpness against us. Throughout the league season, especially in the ringer that was August we kept performing well. We stayed up in the league without any issues, finishing 11th. I should be happy with that, especially since that guarantees continental football (money+rep boost), but we could have finished higher. The xG gods were not on our side. We conceded 36 goals while our xG against was 26. This was really apparent towards the end of the season, the last 5 or 6 games when every time a team had a highlight it was a goal. With more luck next year and internal growth, I could see us crack 50 points and potentially sneak into Libertadores. Hopefully games like this won’t happen that often next season As is tradition in the Argentine calendar, the first bit of big news we get is the Youth Preview. Similar to last year we were promised a total of 3 really talented players. While its always great to get really talented strikers and wingers, since their usually fetch the biggest sale values, I was really looking forward to a young and talented GK, since my two first team GKs are both 2,5 stars. But four months later, it was a bit of a different story. From the intake we got, there are 4 players that are really (based on the PA projections) worth talking about. Two elite talents were Lucas Barone and Roberto Dahan . Barone is most likely the promised elite winger, eventho is natural position is a striker. My Staff also see him as a winger on attack and its easy to see ways, technically and physically gifted with poor finishing, he is much more suited to beating his man and crossing it. Will need to improve his anticipation so he doesn’t stray offside all the time. Half Argentine and Half Israeli, Dahan is a versatile prospect with a lot of upside. He can already play three positions and has the broad attribute spread to contribute to all three of them once he develops. Currently being trained as a AMC on Attack. Fairy determined personality is ok, but the training scores are in the 9s and I’m optimistic he can fulfill his potential. We also got two top talents in Luciano Vitiello and Leonardo Suarez. Our half Italian goalkeeper looks like your run of the mill sticks to the line goalkeeper. I prefer a sweeper with good distribution, but he is really turns out to be a 4 star or better player I would be very happy to make the switch. Suarez is such a weird player. Given his professional nature, I’m sure he will fulfill his potential. But most of the attributes look really poor. Twenty-one of them are 5 or below! But he will be an absolutely amazing dribbler. Hopefully he turns into a rotation option inverted winger who just dribbles a lot, gets fouled around or inside the box and makes the easy pass to the open man. If not, he can switch to futsal. The leading scorer was once again Pio Bonacci with 16 goals. Most creative player was Luis Olmedo my starting MR, who had 9 assists, one assist more than last year’s leader Rios. My starting Mezzala Nicholas Sanchez was the best rated player with 7.19 I have two big focuses for the next, my third season with the club. The first is to give all my attention and focus to the Copa Sudamericana. I want to try and win it because the winner gets a total of 8 million euros, with the majority of that being the reward for the winner (5 mil). I know it’s a long shot, but it’s the best option I currently have to get out of the red financially. The first division has helped, and the board keep injecting cash, but we are still around 2 million in the red. This means that no upgrades are available. The second focus are Gustavo Marchesin and Martin Estevez. The latter was at the club when I joined. I didn’t pay too much attention since he was a 3,5 star potential. But he really improved. Currently a 2,5 CA in multiple roles both as MR and MC, with a 5 star PA which he could realistically hit if he keeps improving like he has so far. A very technical, talented passer with great natural fitness and aggression, fine mentals and average at best physicals, he could be the starting Mezalla for a few years to come. Marchesin replaces Nakache as my backup right winger. The most talented player of our first intake is already a 2,5 CA winger and youngest player to ever make an appearance for the club. He featured in the first team last season making 9 appearances for us, mostly in the League Cup. I plan to give them 20-30 minutes every time we have a favorable result and start them whenever the regulars aren’t available. Given their personalities and our improved coaching staff, I am very hopeful that they will become starter caliber players by the end of the season.

Popular Post Anners
Previous Post: On 29/04/2024 at 21:11, Anners said: Previous Post: 2069/70 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Premiership League: A last day league win against St Johnstone of all teams! Although the more interesting thing happened - one of the Old Firm are finally down! There's not actually much to say about the league this far in - I was rotating massively early in the season which is why we're not putting up 90+ points every season. Cups: We got dumped out of the League Cup at the first hurdle for us by Championship side Partick Thistle. Might have gone a biiiit too weak in that game. Europe: 3-1 up in the Semi Final with 7 minutes left. I'm fed up of losing in absolutely gutting circumstances in the Champions League at the moment!! Very clearly one of the better sides in the CL at the moment, but English sides will be the bane of my existance right now. Youth Intake: Not too much here - was gutted to see the Madagascar player not be good. We've also gone shopping in Brazil it seems? Other Business: Another NXGN player here - Malcolm was actually still in my under 18s at this point! A Steve Court update as well as he's pretty much world class at this point - the first one I've been able to keep a hold of (and he's signed a new contract!): Absolutely popped off this year with 49 goals - full stats here. He signed a new contract half way through the season (after making noises about wanting to leave), so I'm actually confident of keeping him for the forseeable future. He's only 21 as well, so this Champions League window I've mentioned might be a long one! Last 5 Years: 2070/71 & 2071/72 Season Report (Apologies, was playing a bit on holiday and finished off 71/72 this morning at home) Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Premiership 70/71 League: 71/72 league: A 9 point lead in 70/71 turned into a 24 point gap in 71/72. We were pretty much top the entire time in the 2nd season. There's not too much to say here - Rangers are completely mid-table in the Championship now and didn't get back promoted in either of the seasons. Hearts actually got relegated in 71/72 so enter next season in League 1. 70/71 Cups: No trophies for us here. 71/72 Cups: Or here. I think this is first time for a while I've not won a cup. The board are still wanting me to reach the Semi Final of both, although I'd appreciate the League Cup not being important! I'm using mostly reserve teams in every cup match at the moment as I'm trying to keep the starters as fit as possible for the Champions League games. 70/71 Europe: 71/72 Europe: Inter enact revenge for us knocking them out last year in a very cruel way: We were a step behind the entire game, although found ourselves 1-0 up through a gift from the Inter defence. We actually looked fairly solid until an awful deflection saw them equalise. We just couldn't hold on in extra time till penalties or find a goal ourselves. That's our third final loss in six years. Gut punch doesn't quite come close to how I feel! Youth Intake: Few interesting ones here, along with some handy personalities in the 2nd intake. Popular Post libbyshuss
Belgium - Lyra Lierse - 2061/62 Pro Jupiler League - WINNERS Yep, we won it again, for an ELEVENTH time. We absolutely dominate the league now and it's only ever close because I prioritise the Champions League. Champions League - Knocked out in Round of 16 Sp for the second season running we got knocked out by the eventual winners, who have now won the Champions League three times in a row. Spurs!!! and we beat them again as well, winning the first leg 2-1. We put up a good fight in the second leg but just couldn't score and went home empty handed. But our results the last couple of seasons give me real hope that we might not be too far off a really, really good run. Players We finally got someone in the top 50 players in the world list! Sam Straetman 51A, who I am glad to say is signedcup on a very, very long contract! We also won Golden Boy this year as well:- Maxime Guilloteau 59B looks like he could become a really, really important player for us. A proper wonderkid as well. Here he is at 19:- Surprised he beat Guus Knol 59A though, he looks much better at the minute and absolutely runs our midfield. Youth So after last years abysmal intake i was hoping for something a little better. But instead we went from one extreme to another, with a ludricrously good potential golden age intake. Very excited by these 5! None of them really stand out but they all have ridiculous potential at this stage of the game. Given that Straetman is a world superstar, the potential on these guys could be huge! Career Number 1 priority is the Champions League. We can beat any team on our day now, it's just a question of whether we get enough of those days
Popular Post bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic First Division (Season 7) *Just noticed that I've been wrongly labeling my number of seasons but I just checked and we are now at number 7. * We qualified for the Champions Cup with our Icelandic Cup from last season and we won our second trophy in as many years. We also played in the European Conference Cup qualifying and made it to the third round. The experience was worth it because for the first time since the first season. With better finances I was able to finally get started on my first coaching badge and we also got the junior coaching improved. In terms of the league, it was difficult with all the added games and playing every 3-4 days with our small squad. We struggled at times but we made it to the promotion playoffs which we lost in the first round. Transfers: Youth Intake: Best prospect: Next season I will concentrate on the league and I am aiming to win the league.
Popular Post Daddy
Season 3 - 2026/27 - Czechia - Second Division: As I feared it was a tough season. The bottom half of the table was very tight for most of the season. Fortunately, we ended the season playing three out of the last five against teams that finished below us. Even worse is being downgraded. This likely sets off a failure cascade. Nothing major to report here We are still building a lot of future depth. I have a good number of players over the last few intakes with the potential to push the club into the first division in a few years. We need them to develop. A full five-star potential is: "Decent First Division player." Three and a half stars is: "Second Division standard player." 2027/28 Season Preview: I think the team is good enough to stay up, but it'll be tough. Going semi-pro is also very tough.
Popular Post KingKCrush
CSC Ghiroda - SuperLiga - Romania - Season 10 - 2034 10th Season! We fought relegation for most of our career now.Nevertheless, I am happy with the club and the latest developments. For our 10th anniversary the club has decided to release a special limited edition jersey that is only available for club members. With 6 new players from our U19, we start into the season. Spoiler SuperLiga For my 10th aniversary here, I want to take the next step for this club. I want to reach europe! We almost reached it last season, so if we can build on last season's performance, I am very confident that we will achieve this ambitious goal. But we just lost our first 5 games. We played okay at the first 2 matches and lost all of our confidence and morale and played terrible in the next 3 games. However we managed to win our 6th game, very close which thankfully turned our season around completely. Spoiler We played so well that we reached the champions playoff for the first time ever! Sounds good, but is actually kinda bad. The problem is, that we have to face to best teams in Romania twice and if we lost during the regular season, we lost against these teams. Therefore I believe our chances to reach europe are now even lower. In the relegation group the first two teams reach the semi final of the european playoffs, which we reached last season. However only one team from the champions group reach the european playoffs. So we have to be 4th in the champions group to reach the european playoffs, but every other team in this group is way way better than us. Im surprised that we put up a good fight. Especially at home, we won 2 games, draw 1 and lost 1 very undeserved and lost 1 very deserved. Away from home however we were getting destroyed. Only 1 point out of 5 games is simply not good enough to reach european football. In the end we finished the champions group as 6th and therefore last. However this was still by far the best season we have ever played! Spoiler Cupa Romaniei Somehow we started directly in the group stage of the cup, which is fine by me as we got knocked out before the group stage in the last season. We won every game during the group stage and advanced to the quarter finals where we had to face the current best team in Romania, Universitatea Craiova, at Craiova. They murdered us in front of 28,000 visitors, which is 10 times more the we usually have. Spoiler Youth Intake Decent preview, okay intake. It was really hard for me to find players from this years intake that really sticks out. Spoiler #1 - Eduard Albu - CM The best of them is probably Eduard Albu. He could be a very good playmaker in the future, however Im not sure if he will reach his potential with that bad personality. Spoiler #2 - Branimir Koszma - ST In our system our strikers also have to play a role in our build up and not only stay upfront. With a good first touch, passing and decent decisions he might be able to play a role in the future, however he also doesnt have a good personality. I will put both into the first squad and mentor them. Hopefully we can turn them around. Spoiler #3 - Vasile Munteanu - FB He is a natural defensive midfielder, however since we are playing inverted wing back at our full back position we basically need DMs with some pace. So we will train him into a full back and improve his speed. To be honest he is nothing special but still the 3rd best of this years intake which shows how dissapointing this intake is. Spoiler Facilities and Finances We were able to improve our training facilities twice! But now we spend almost all of the 6 Mio we got for Badea last season. Our training facilities are now great, which is really awesome! We still have 1.7 Mio in the bank which means that compared to our last seasons, we are rich! Spoiler Player Performances Since this was our best season so far, we also had outstanding player performances that I want to mention here. Pozinarea, who joined us in the youth intake of 2029, scored 20 goals this season which means he broke Badeas record of 17 goals a season. Paraschiv, our left winger from 2030s intake, lead us in assists and played a very consistent season with an average of 7.05. But the biggest surprise this season was Samuel Giurgiu. He joined us last season and I planned him in as a backup. However after the injury of our starting CM, he stepped up and played absolutely amazing. He started 26 games, even tough he was injured for 2 months, and scored 7 goals and 10 assists and averaged a 7.13. That is absolutely amazing for a 15 year old and the highest anyone of our players had in the SuperLiga! He is our Tony Kroos! Winski
BK Skjold Time for a new save. My old laptop crashed recently, so I lost all my previous saves So I bought a new laptop, and decided to start a new save in Denmark. After a couple of reloads, this team popped up: Boldklubben Skjold. BK Skjold is a club from Copenhagen and don´t have a very rich history. They never played on the highest Danish level. Between 2001 and 2006 they played in Tier 2. They call themselves the largest football club in Denmark, because of the big number of members. I like their home kit; it's almost a copy of the Feyenoord kit. The biggest issue(well, at least in the beginning of the save) in Denmark will be the Amateur status of the club. Just a couple of days after I arrived, my best player left the club. So I really hope that the board will turn to semi-pro soon.
Popular Post Mattc08
TVS Alemannia Aachen 2025/2026 Season 2 Well what a season that was!!!! Started the season with 3 straight wins and only conceded one goal. From there the form went up and down and looked as if we were in for another mid table finish. but an undefeated run from November until the first week of February which included 12 games ( 8 wins & 4 draws) put us right into the fight for a promotion playoff spot. A win on the final day of the season made sure we finished 3rd 1 point ahead of Sandhausen. In the Playoffs we played Holstein Kiel and what a first leg it was, Our boys dominated from the very start Luca Busch Garcia had the first goal 3 minutes in, we doubled that lead through a Schwermann penalty in the 11th minute. We made in 3-0 at the 30th minute and from there we cruised to a 3-0 home win in the first leg. The second leg brought its challenges and we looked like we may blow the 3-0 lead we had created. Holstein Kiel dominated us at there home but our boys managed to stay strong and we won on aggregate 4-3. So promotion to Bundesliga 2 will bring its challenges so we have the few youth players who have started to play will help keep us up. We had a youth prospect taken by Bochum, looked like a real talent to Was rewarded with a new contract this year. Managed to get to National B licence however now the clubs finances are struggling the board are letting me upgraded facilities or further my coaching. This years youth preview looked great with a potential GK and DM. Youths came through and Gundogdu looks like a promising future GK. Buschmann would have been great however he is unambitious and has been set back by injuries already. Hornbruch has come in and looks like he could be a CB for the future and i can see him and our youth star form last year Akinola creating a partnership for seasons to come. Large squad at the moment, will be looking to move some players on to create some finances. A few youth players already featuring in the first team in Akinola and Kennedy. Not sure where to play Akinola as he has been playing RB for us but has played CB for Nigeria u20s. Would take peoples suggestions on maybe what is the best position for him. Finances not looking great but hopefully with the promotion to Bundesliga 2 this will correct itself and will start heading on the right track so we can improve the facilities.

Popular Post HanziZoloman
Season 2066/ 67 Okay, here's news from the Earl, we won the EFL One at last and go back to the Championship after the surprise promotion 10 years ago (!!). Okay, we're back after ten years. I still have some players in my team from that year. Loric Kalala has been our hottest prospect those days and couldn't leave too early, always demanding a move for a PL side. Guess what, he captained the team that gained promotion again this year. Maybe it was the best year we'd played so far. The Earl of Grey dived into tactics before the season started and showed a balanced 433 fluid counter-attacking style of play. After we managed to reach the top spot he changed it into a possession but still balanced counter-press. The key aspect has been to tinker with OI's, turning off the oppositions attack and spotting the weaknesses in defense. Well, it worked wonderful. Billericay leads in lowest final third passes and is in the top 5 of all relevant defensive statistics. We only lost one League game in September, two in October and the last one in December. Our Goalie Turkish Taner Subasi is named a favourite for the Player of the year award. The offense worked as well, striker James Graham won the Goal Scorer Title (27 goals), at last the lad is producing again. He had some tough years but this one has been his best so far. Spoiler James Graham, he is on his way becoming a legend. Rhys Platt would be proud of him. Spoiler Loric Kalala, he's been with us the last time we were promoted into Championship and is now the Captain of that bunch. Clearly our best man since years. Always on the move to bigger club but somehow we kept hold of him. He has been injured a lot this year. Spoiler He is a player who delivers. In the youth team days he managed to score 10 goals in just one league game, now he's with the first team. His stats seem not that brilliant, lacking speed, strength, off the ball but as soon he's on the pitch he gets his engines running. My man! I hope he can cope with championship football. Spoiler Our Goalie, Taner Subasi, check on his bravery (6) but our keeper for years. We had a better one but sold him for 5 Millions to cover money drain. Well Taner it is then, he's nominated for the Player of the Year award. Spoiler Player to watch: Lorne McPhee, he's been nominated for England U20s for his first time. He is a very, very promising defender. Spoiler Edited May 14 by HanziZoloman
Popular Post naterr
Alex Jones at Merthyr - Season 1. The season started with a bang. Undefeated in the first 4 games and we went 7 games with only one loss. Then September hit and the form plummeted! By December we had picked up form again and found ourselves in 3rd place, but with 7 teams below us all within 2 points. The youth academy preview gave us hope... And boy did it deliver! Top 3 players below! Spoiler We also managed to get a decent keeper! but he didn't quite make the top 3! Injuries and fatigue hit our players in the new year. We really struggled for form and slipped down the table, part of the reason was that I forgot to move the new youth players into the first team and just "forgot" to use them! Once I had sorted out that little error we went on a 7 game winning streak to end the season in 6th and making the playoffs. Unfortunately the fairy-tale ending wasn't here today, as we lost in the semi final to eventual winners Scarborough. Luckily the board objective was to attempt to avoid relegation! However in the season review I got a C- rating for only reaching the play of Semi Final - even with the objective above clearly saying we would struggle in the league...I think the board are getting ahead of themselves. Season stats and awards below: Welsh Club updates: In England, Cardiff finish bottom of the championship whilst Swansea narrowly avoided the playoffs. Newport county just survived the drop into non league football while Wrexham lose out in the play off final. In Wales TNS don't win the league! (which is a good reason to celebrate), but they had a very unlikely winner. Briton Ferry Llansawel won the Cymru south last year and then went on and won the Cymru Premier the next season. Remarkable!
Popular Post bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic First Division (Season 8) WE DID IT! Promotion to Icelandic Premier Division was secured on last day thanks to goal difference. I was top most of the season but a bad stretch at the end made it more difficult than it should have been. Transfers: Youth Intake: Next season is simple, survival. I don't think the level is that much of a step up from the First Division to the Premier Division but the goal will still be to survive and get used to the opponents.
Winski
BK Skjold Season review Season 1 | 2024-2025 3. Division Transfers | Afiliates | Facilities | Manager Profile | Competitions overview Well, that went surprisingly well! Sometimes everything just clicks together, right from the beginning. We won the league, and are now promoted to 2. Division! With this, the club turned Semi-Professional. So I can now give my players a contract! I signed almost every player at the club. The only one that refused to sign a new deal was topscorer Christian Nissen, who is retired from playing professional football. But I'll keep him at the club as an amateur player. Three players really stood out this season. Strikers David Müller and Christian Nissen, together with midfielder Esajas La Cour. Müller and Nissen scored lots of goals, while La Cour was the king of the assists this season. Youth preview and intake The first preview of this save, and it is a good one. But as we all know, so early in the save it doesn't say that mutch. The actual intake gave us a ******** of Elite Talents. But it says more about the current ability of my squad, then the real potential of these youngsters I think But still: I'm very happy with this! I finally got some youngsters in the U19 team, although there were also 5 lads who came through in the "holiday-season". Some of the talents of this intake are good enough for our first squad already. Especially the keeper; Sorensen 25a. But I'll promote a couple more to the first team squad. Spoiler Upgrades The board was willing to upgrade the Junior Coaching budget and Youth Recruitment twice! Very happy with that. Progress
Popular Post Virtual Male
Previous Season Victor San Marino Season 1 2024/25 Manager Profile - Competitions - Facilities - Finances Competitions Serie C NOW Girone B - A solid first season in charge for Astley. His game plan was clear from the off with little attention paid to the defensive side of the game and clearly fully embraced a Luis Enrique quote 'If they can score 4, we can score 6', there wasn't any real consistency over the season either with one run of results being a 5-5 draw, 6-0 win, 4-4 draw then a 5-0 loss, a game with less than 4 goals was an anomaly but more often than not San Marino came out on the right side of the result. Come the end of the season his team were one of the few in this league that didn't have any post season responsibilities coming home in a respectable 13th place. The aim for next season will be to make the play-offs, after that anything is possible. Coppa Italia Lega Pro - Wasn't prioritised and resulted in a first round exit to FeralpiSalò. Squad The inherited team had some pretty large gaps as expected but on the whole was fairly easy to work with and quite young too so early retirements and having to fit youth players into positions they're not familiar with or before they're at the right level shouldn't be a problem, which I'm sure we're all too familiar with. The stand out performer of the season was our right back Riccardo Gramellini who lead the league for assists and at only 21 looks like he could grow into a mainstay for years to come. Youth Intake (Preview) A promising preview with A's in 3 positions left me a little disappointed when the new players came around, by no means is it a bad bunch but only 1 5* and 1 4.5* player in the first intake might cause a little bit of a headache a few years down the line. The personalities are pretty good overall though, so that's a win! Matteo Berardi is the top prospect and he's Sammarinese too! He made a couple of appearances over the back end of the season and didn't embarrass himself so will continue to play a roll in the next season and we can see how he develops. Transfers & Finances - Nothing of note on the transfer front, just a couple out at the end of the season who hadn't played any part to help trim the wage bill a bit. We finished the season with the bank balance a little in the red and with the loan taken out for a stadium expansion being paid back at £10k p/m I don't see this improving over the coming years if the team remain at this level of the footballing pyramid. Other - At the end of the season the board had to expand the stadium to meet league minimum requirements and took out a £1.1m loan to enable us to do that. They also agreed to expand the youth recruitment and were very generous when Astley was asking to start new coaching licenses, by the end of the season he held a National B license and was studying for his National A license.

Full suite of upgrades in progress and I'll be able to resign my players to full time contracts. Does that actually make you the richest club in the country now? Always feel it's a bit of a double edged sword with huge takeovers in youth saves.

Always feel it's a bit of a double edged sword with huge takeovers in youth saves. It does take us from insecure and semi-pro to secure and professional. I am trying to trim 200K p/a from my payroll. Both salaries (current are targeted) would be the second lowest in the top division. There are two rich clubs at the top and everyone else is okay or insecure (two clubs). We're also on pace to lose a lot every year so I'm basically treating it as a bailout and a boost to save my save basically.
Daddy
Season 4 - 2027/28 - Czechia - Second Division: A more comfortable season, but we're still way too leaky defensively. I'm sure it could be helped tactically, but the talent is mostly third-division-level. A few players take off with development and then it becomes a struggle to keep them and I have lost a few good players. We're still in the churn phase and hopefully I can get more upgrades to help hasten the development to make that push up the table and be more suitable for my better players to stay. The three that went for money I would have loved to have kept. Unfortunately, they didn't want to stay. I was hoping for a standout striker, keeper, or defender. Doesn't look to be that intake. Well no standout players, but I have never received an intake this good when the team wasn't empty of talent. Three-star potential for my team ranges from good third-division player to second-division standard. 2028/29 Season Preview: My goal for this year is to start seeing some improvement to build off of. The class of 25 has now all aged out of the Under 18s, so I plan to do a lot of rotating with my youth players to have them start hitting their potential hopefully and hopefully able to keep most of them and start moving up the table. I still think it'll be 2-3 seasons before the roster churn ends and the real game begins.
bg0123
Haukar - Icelandic Premier Division (Season 9) We survived which was the goal. Although we comfortably did it, it was a stressful couple first months as we were in the relegation zone for probably the first half of the season. Then we hit a good stretch of results and ended safely in 7th. Basically all my players improved quite a bit playing at this level which is good to see. Transfers: Youth Intake: Best prospect: Really happy about getting such a good keeper in the intake. He will be our starting keeper from now on. Next season I expect more of the same, maybe we'll even squeak into the Championship Group this time around (places 1 to 6).
Emenikeee
We made it to season 2 ! Funny thing, I realized that they have sold their primary striker and second striker was a loan who returned back after I took over. So I started the season without a striker. Board wanted me to play defensive. Started the season with a very defensive approach. I wanted to quit the game first half of the season. We started very, very bad. 12 games, 1 win, 3 draws. And I decided to turn things around. I started retraining one winger into an advanced forward and completely changed my tactic into an attacking format. Every home game and against every team with a bad form, I started playing attacking. And we have turned the table around. We somehow finished 8th. We can stay in the league one more year I believe. But my best players, two centrals defenders are leaving next year when their contract is ending. I guess I need to rely on my youth. Good thing is there is hope. and this model citizen. I hope he will develop well. I need him.
HanziZoloman
@Emenikeee nice tactical insights! I should remember to punish opponents with bad form
Thebaker
Profile Decided to start this with a team in Sweden, it was dictated to some degree by having a team with enough players to get though the first season, although many are likely to retire in the near future. The facilities are extremely limited so it might take a while to truly make progress.
Popular Post Padders
Season 107 - 2129/30 - PL First season back in the PL Actually our highest ever finish, 15th! We have got our second ever wonderkid, Phil Thomas. But he won't sign a new contract as wants us to improve the squad (which we obviously can't do). Just our luck Edited May 16 by Padders
