  1. what I do is stick them in remove.bg which turns them into a PNG file you can use in the game. like this:- I do that with all the kits i use. hope it works!
  2. Lyra Lierse - Belgium - 2051/52 Pro Jupiler League - WINNERS Croky Cup - WINNERS Champions League - lost to Sporting in League stage play-off Europa League - Lost to Espanyol in last 16 A domestic double has to be a successful seasn, right? At home we were fantastic but sadly we couldn't translate that in continental competition, losing to Sporting in the league stage play-off in a tie we really should have won easily. At least next season we won't have to worry about the play-offs Youth A terrible preview delivers what looks like a terrible intake. But you never know i guess Career We still look a long way off a proper Champions League challenge. Mainly as my defence is so poor compare to midfield and attack, we can easily lose games 5-3.
  3. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2nd Croky Cup - Semi Final Champions League - Knock Out Round kinda frustrating season where we were so close yet in the end so far to winning anything. All we had to do in the league was win the final game... and we lost it We had our best season yet in the Champions League until we met Liverpool in the knock out round - they were just a class above. We were lucky to win the first leg and got what we deserved in the second leg Players I got a new wonderkid! which was nice, as he was really only playing because of injuries! he also got golden boy! Last years Golden Boy was having a good season up until March when.... Youth This year look like the best intake for a good while, although not quite up to 2039 standards. But still quite excited by the top 3 Where Are They Now? 2046 edition Francis Azeez - back up keeper, been out on loan, probably not gonna be any better than back up though Yaro Kraftt - looked such a good prospect and yet.... he is awful! i still have him for some reason. Geilson Felicio - Great player, golden boy winner, not a wonderkid but gonna be a first team player for years. Declared for Brazil but no caps yet Aldo Coppin - He's been out on loan and done ok. Probably will be a good squad/back up player Anthony Bosc - he went to Antwerp, no regrats Fabian Gielen - sold for 20k, far more than he is actually worth Pasquale Monti - defender, not a good one either. and i'm so desperate for decent defenders. Career
  4. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2049/50 Pro Jupiler League - 2nd Croky Cup - Winners Champions League - Round of 16 Another good solid season. we started the league with 13 straight wins but after christmas injuries and fatigue caught up with us and we couldn't quite maintain it. Still, second ain't bad Champions League was tough again but we're getting better. a 4-0 win away at Juve was the high point. In the end Man City were just too strong for us. we won the Croky Cup though, which was nice! Players We have such a strong squad now that a 3 star CA/PA is a potential wonderkid! One new wonderkid and one Golden Boy winner this season Youth Not sure if this is a good intake or not, our squad is so strong it's skewering all our ratings a bit. 3 star is potential wonderkid so who knows! Where are they now? 2045 edition It looked a good intake on paper. But was it? Loan Marechal - I had high hopes for him as I really needed a decent keeper. turns out I got myself a wonderkid who is now first choice for club and country and valued at £60m+! Lovely stuff! Joe Rhule - Yeah, no, sold last season for 14k. I thought he might make it but an easilt discouraged personality did for him in the end Enock Ndikumana - started poorly and slowly got worse and worse. Now works at B+Q Roan Vandenheede - I sold him to West Ham as I had so many players in his position and he's doing ok out there. Career
  5. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2048/49 Pro Jupiler League: 2nd Croky Cup: Runners Up Champions League: League Stage Pretty good season I guess but one where we ultimately fell short in every competition. The league was especially frustrating.... Champions League we were an absolute mile off. Youth Our youth intakes aren't as good as they are but that's mainly due to our first team being much better these days. 3 star CA gets described as a leading Pro Jupiler League player! Wonderkids My keeper and my Brazilian left winger! lovely stuff! Where are they now? 2044 Edition Was it a good intake? let's take a look! Riccardo Basili - sold at 18 for 1m. he then got shipped on for 24k. i got a good deal! Nilton Tavares - still in the squad. i thought he might make it but the time might have come to admit defeat Amin Saadi - I didn't think he'd be a wonderkid out of this intake but there you go. He was! First team regular, 25 Morrocan caps, lovely stuff1 Lukas Bodart - He's kinda fascinating. Easily my best youth at intake for years and years and yet...... he's not really improved at all from 16 to now. I'm so desperate to get him in somewhere I've even retrained him as an MC. Hopefully he'll be a late developer? he's still 2 star CA, 4 star Pot! career
  6. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2047/48 Pro Jupiler League - 1st Croky Cup - 8th Round Europa League - Quarter Final A really good season for us. Only 4 defeats in the league meant we breezed to the title. Even though one of those defeats was 6-0 to Standard. Ah well Europa League was fun, even though we fell to Toulouse in a quarter final tie we should have been able to win Youth Doesn't look like a save changing intake this one. Wonderkids We got another two proper ones! Thing is, i'm now so lopsided as they are all midfielders/attackers. my defence is so much weaker! Where are they now? Let's look at the 2043 intake! Just how good was it? 6 elite talents! But just how good were they? Sam Vermeulen - A proper wonderkid! My first choice left winger, valued around £40m, star pro jupiler player. 16 goals and 22 assists last season. He's great! Noah Pankert - second choice keeper but developing really nicely. Plays in cups, rated good pro jupiler with still plenty of room to improve Ryan Driesen - Poor in the end Sold for 160k, and i was lucky to get it! Mohamed Zaim - yeah, terrible, awful, now half a star potential, rotting in the U21s Roan Kramer - not good, sold for 200k, now valued much lower Sam Maes - another poor result. sold to Montpellier for 150k, doing poorly there Vermeulen and Pankert make it a fantastic intake though! Finance I'm now at the stage where I don't need to sell anyone to make any money. Which is helped by things like this:- Given how relatively poor my defence is right now, I could really do with him back in the side! Career
  7. Lyra-Lierse - Belgium - 2046/47 League: 4th Champions League: Knock Out Play-off Round Croky Cup: Runner Up Bit of a weird season really. We went unbeaten for the first 14 games, but drew 9 of them! never really recovered from that and only managed a fourth place finish in the end, meaning no Champions League next season! Champions League is still a bit of a slog, but we went one better than last season, actually getting out of the league stage. Encouraging thing was how good we were in those qualifying rounds Youth What looked like a great youth preview, with three A grades, turned into an average intake a week later when they all turned to C grades instead. Two elite talents, both strikers? we'll see... Wonderkids Another bone fide proper wonderkid! woohoo! Joseph Zola 43H was a surprise. he's only a two star potential defender, but I had to play him due to injuries and he did ok. Saadi 44B is a Moroccan right winger who's been playing really well for us and could well be a proper proper wonderkid in a couple of years. Where are they now? Let's go back 5 years and look at my 2042 intake, where I got 6 elite talents! where are they now? Mil Delforge - Belgium has this annoying thing where the boards want a negative transfer balance, no matter how much money you have. So you have to sell a certain amount of players or the board take over and sell them for you for ridiculous prices. I had to sacrifice Delforge for that, selling him to Sturm Gratz for £4.2m (when he was valued at 8-10m). He's been pretty good in Austria, time will tell if i made a silly mistake there Elliot Toussaint - star graduate, looked the real deal, wasn't at all in any way, left on a free when he was 18 Eduardo - I had high hopes for him, he looked good. Went on loan for last three seasons and was ok but never really improved. I just sold him for 40k Rafael Siquert - I sold him to Caen the next season for £350k. I had so many wingers he was never gonna make it here Liam Nys - Sold straight away to Gent for 85k where he has done very little. Brayan Verschueren - the success story of this intake! I only played him due to injuries in the first team but he performed well, he didn't totally fulfil his potential but he a good Jupiler Pro League player and a really handy squad player So, overall, a really disappointing intake. 6 elite talents and only 1 made it and only as a squad player to boot. Career
  8. that is ludicrous, it's stuff like that that makes you want to rage quit. i had something similar in Belgium when I lost a wonderkid for 61k, but £400 is just taking the **** frankly!
  9. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2045/46 Jupiler pro League - 2nd Champions League - League stage We did well until January when transfer offers and injuries upset our rythm and morale. We responded well though and three victories in our final three champion group games managed to grab us a second place finish Champions League was tough. We didn't get a great draw and only two victories meant we went out at the league stage. We really struggled with squad depth meaning i was forced to play unready 16 year olds at places like the Nou Camp. League still takes priority atm. Players The most frutrating thing with these saves is knowing where your weaknesses lie and not being able to do anything about it! My striker is actually a left winer and my defence is a different class to midfield and attack. sadly, a much lower class Youth Players Some nice looking prospects coming through, not least these two fella-me-lads Where are they now? I really like it when people revisit past youth intakes to see what happened, so I decided to do it too. 5 years seems a good number so here's what happened to my 2041 intake:- Mohamed Lakhdar - was he really a 4 star potnetial youth? he stunk the place out and left on a free after 2 years with his potential dropping to 2 stars Renzo Wouters - Sold to Cercle Brugge for 100k where he's doing..... not great. Gregoire Lacroix - Might be the one that go away. Natural at AMC but accomplished at MC or striker, I could never really decide where he would be best suited. As a result he just filled in here and there and ended up being sold last season for £1.4m to Gent Roan Willems - European golden Boy and a leading Pro Jupiler league player. First choice DM, he's great. Rodrigo Njoh - Nah, rubbish sadly. Kept him around to see if he's improve but if anything he got worse. Offloaded to Antwerp for £200k, which we were frankly lucky to get Cyrille Keita - Surprised to see him as a 4 star at intake. He quickly got downgraded to a 2 star potential and sold only 2 years later for £140k So, for what on paper looked a great intake, it was actually pretty poor, only redeemed by Willems. But if I ccan get one plyer like him a year I'll be very happy so.... swings and roundabouts I guess! I might do 2039 one day - three of them are my best 3 players and all in the Belgium squad. that intake was insane! Career
  10. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2044/45 Jupiler Pro League - CHAMPIONS! Well this was a surprise. We started with a 5-0 away win and didn't look back! the whole season was a procession to be honest. We didn't lose until February and only lost once in the Championship group stage as well. We were fantastic from start to finish Players So, what changed? 1. New tactic playing to the strengths of my best players Moving Bodson to right wing was the key. He was amazing, top scoring with 22 goals and getting 9 assists 2. best players all signed new contracts, wanted to stay and kept high morale all season 3. we surfed the morale/form wave all we could! 4. These two came through and developed really, really well youth We are getting amazing youth intake after amazing youth intake. I love it here! Finance Biggest problem at the minute is our board insisting on a negative transfer balance every season. It means they want us to sell players to a certain amount each season or they'll take control of transfers and sell players for us. so every year i have to sell someone i don't want to, and with Beau Bodson 39C and Lauren Dumont 39A having release clauses in their contract, there's a good chance it will be them sadly. It's going to make challenging for the Champions League really difficult Career
  11. Lyra Lierse - Belgium 2043/44 Not so much inspired by but rather shamelessly stolen from @glennuk, I asked Chatgpt to write a poem summing up this season:- In Lyra Lierse's realm, where dreams do sway, Inconsistency's shadow casts its play. With wonderkids, they dance on fickle grounds, Where triumph's heights meet depths, profound. Oh, Lyra Lierse, once poised to soar, With talents bright and dreams galore. But fate's cruel hand, it seemed to jest, Leading them to finish lower than their best. Two seasons past, where hope did gleam, Third place finishes were not just a dream. But this season's tale, a bitter pill to take, Tenth place finish, frustration awake. Wonderkids, they sparkled, yet sought to flee, In search of fame where they could truly be. Their hearts torn between loyalty and desire, Inconsistency's burden, a relentless fire. In Lyra Lierse's saga, echoes of dismay, As victory and defeat share the day. The agony of falling short, it stings, Yet hope still spreads its resilient wings. Though tenth they finished, not where they aimed, In Lyra Lierse's heart, ambition remains untamed. For in the realm of football's ever-changing game, Tomorrow's promise may yet rekindle the flame. Yep, we were really frustrating! Our results in the second phase summed up our season perfectly Players So why did it go so wrong? Well..... our wonderkids! Laurent Dumont 39A - our best player by a mile decided, the day before the first game of the season, he wanted to leave. Spent the entire season sulking with morale as low as it can be only to decide, the day before the final game of the season, oh sure, i'll stay after all. goddammit. Beau Bodson 39B - fantastic name, rubbish attitude. Sulked himself silly all season as 'the squad wasn't strong enough' Eloi Desmet 39E - this one annoys the heck out of me. i pressed the wrong button. He decided as a result of that 'too many promises have been broken' and sulked all season too Those three are my first choice midfield and all three spent the season throwing their toys out the pram and crying to their nannies. Wonderkids These two were a nice surprise. not official wonderkids yet but looking strong with these two bone fide wonderkids in central midfield we should have done so much better:- Youth Another great preview and intake, and although only 4 elite talents the star graduate more than made up for it. I'm gonna change tactic just to fit him in the team next season, he looks that good Career
  12. Lyra Lierse - Belgium jupiler Pro League - 2042/43 An almost amazing season. We were great, challenging for the title right up until February, when we went on an awful run winning only one of the last seven games. Enough to qualify us for the Champions group, but no enough to challenge the title We regained some form in the champions grouo, even beating Club Brugge 4-0, but we just couldn't do enough to get into the Champions League slot. Another Europa League campaign it is! Europa League was fun, right up until we got Club Brugge who took advantage of our poor run of league form to batter us. We did get revenge in the champions group though Youth Another great preview and potential intake! I love Belgium's youth intakes! The future is looking very bright, so long as the board doesn't do anything stupid.... Wonderkids he wants to leave us sadly.... but he is on a very long contract so we'll see Career I'm in a good position at the minute. Is a Belgium completion possible? it's still a way off it is.
  13. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2041/42 After two appalling games to start the season I decided to change formation - and we went on a run of ten wins out of twelve! We couldn't quite maintain that pace but we did enough to qualify for the Champions Stage. We were too far behind Anderlecht to challenge for the title but we managed to win 6 out of the 10 gamnes to finish 3rd and qualify for the Europa League Players The new formation was partly to fit my golden generation from 2039 in. For one game I had SIX graduates from 2039 playing! it was great The only issue with this formation was up front. I just couldn't get anyone firing consistently up there, and Adam Vanderheede 30C, our crazy consistent player, had nowhere where he really fitted in. So, work in progress! Wonderkids We got one more! We also had to sell one Youth Another cracking preview and intake! Maybe not as good as 2039 but really not far off. Six elite talents is crazy good really. Career
  14. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2040/41 A bit of a step back after two really good seasons. We were close to qualifying for the championship group but no wins in the last 3 meant we just got pipped for 6th and had to go in the second group. We started top, by a point, but couldn't compete with Genk who won 9 and drew 1 of their ten games to get into the European play-offs. So no European football for us next season! It's a shame as we had great fun in the Europa League and all those extra games meant lost of chance to give my growing army of promising youths a run out. We did pretty good really, all the way to the last 16! Youth Another really nice preview and intake. To get this many elite talents at this stage is amazing. I love exceptional intakes in Belgium! Wonderkids Another possible pair of wonderkids from my golden generation of 2039 My first official wonderkid, Chris Kabeya 31C, i had to sell to Atletico Madrid last season. He barely played so when I saw his 50% sell on fee available for 8m I jumped at it. Good move too, as he went to blackburn for 9m a couple of months later. He's playing there! Looks like that money has already been earmarked by the board however Career Next season we're gonna try to get back into Europe. It was too much fun not to! I still think we're a little way off a title challenge but the last 2 or 3 youth intakes have been pretty, pretty good so we might not be too far off.
  15. that might be it. i always struggle a bit when i get to that stage, which makes sense i guess. We're basically playing the youth team as the first team then.
  16. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2039/40 Another strong season from us saw us finish 6th in the league stage and then manage 5th in the Champions Stage, meaning we qualified for the Europa League. Which is nice! We went so successful in our first European adventure though, going out in the Conference League qualification round 4 Youth Another very nice intake! Career So far so good!
  17. yeah, crossed my mind! but i'm slightly more in need of midfielders at the minute which i was why i was thinking mids but you never know, he's definitely got potential there
  18. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2038/39 Started the season poorly, with only two wins in the first 8, but finished strongly going 11 unbeaten. It meant we finished 5th and qualifies for the Champions Group, starting only three points behind the leaders! But despite starting with a 3-0 win over Club Brugge we were poor in the championship group, only winning one of our remaining 9 games. It meant we finished 5th which put us in a european Playoff with the winners of the Second Phase group. We won that 4-2 so European football is ours next season! Players Top Scorer: L de Pauw 26C (21 goals in 39 games) He's 28 now! kinda nice seeing a player from that long ago still rocking it in our first team, especially as i've tired to sell him on more than one occasion. it's Belgium, you have to! Player of the Season: Adam Vandenheede 30C (7.46 in 42 games) I love players like this! Bang average on paper, never looks for a move, not really coveted by other teams, yet is so consistent, turning it on week after week, season after season. AWonderkids We got our first official wonderkid! And first player to be capped by Belgium as well! Funniest thing is Ive agreed to sell the lad five times, and each time he's rejected the contract and stayed with us! He has a 22.5m release fee so as soon as anyone offers anything close I add a 50% sell on and accept. And yet he's still with us! Youth A ridiculously good intake, but also one that poses more questions. 6 elite talents is unreal at this stage, but only one of them is a natural in a position I actually use. so.... either position re-training or new tactic in a few seasons. I haven't decided what yet. Best of the lot is clearly this lad, who looks like he could be unbelievable in a few seasons. I either switch to a 4312 using an AMC or retrain him as an MC. either way he's a future first teamer. look at him! Finances so I managed to sell one of my top prospects for 18m at the start of the season. Sad to see him go but in Belgium you have no choice really. Once the money came in, rather than let it slowly dribble away I talked the board into investing instead So we were looking relatively settled financially! so what do the board do at the end of the season? Announce a stadium upgrade they will be financing with another 6m loan. that's 18m worth of loans now, at 170k a month repayments! The finances here make it such a different challenge to elsewhere... Career Into Europe we go! It's only the conference league but it's a chance to give my younger squad players some invaluable experience. And it's another step forward, another source of income. Things are starting to look up!
  19. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2037/38 League finish: 7th Second Phase finish: 1st Really good season in the end, despite a poor start. We narrowly missed out on getting into the championship group but headed into the second group in first place. We were really good throughout and finished first, heading into a european play-off with Charleroi which we lsot 3-2 to a 91st minute goal so for the second season we miss out on European football by a goal! Youth another really good preview and intake, which is just as well given the rate we're losing players Finances This is where the real challenge in Belgium lies. The board have a habit of requesting a negative transfer balance and I always try to get it removed only this time around they would not let me. So..... we started with a transfer budget of -2m I had to raise £2m, which wasn't too hard, so I set about narrowing the squad down and sold ten players over the summer for a total of 3m. Only the board did not release any of those funds to the transfer budget, so it still stood at -2m! which meant, during January.... But they never release any of the funds to the transfer budget, so I can never clear it! So i had no choice but to hawk my best players around so i could get a decent price and sell on rather than have the board sell them for peanuts. Noah Dannemark 33B went to Standard for 3m +50% sell on, and the board released 150k towards the budget! Chris Kabeya 34B wanted to leave and I manged to get a £13m + 50% offer in from 4 clubs and he rejected them all! and the board accepted a loan offer from Gent and off he went! I got away lightly in the end..... but honestly, it's things like this makes Belgium so difficult and frustrating but also a real challenge. Career
  20. Lyra Lierse - belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2036/37 League Finish: Second group phase: 3rd Croky Cup: runners Up A frustrating season where we spent most of it in the relegation group spots only to win our last 4 league games to qualify for the second phase. We saved our best performances for the cup getting to the final only to lose to Standard Liege. Players Top Scorer: A Vandenheede 30C (32 goals in 44 games) Player of the Season: A Vandenheede 30C (7.47 AR in 44 games) Ridiculously good, which is weird cos when you look at his attributes/transfer value he looks really, really average. But he consistently performs at a really high level. I love it! Wonderkids Not sure if he'll be a real, proper wonderkid but he does look a really good prospect Youth After two really disappointing intakes i could really do with a good one. And i think i got one! Finances And my stupid board sold him for 60k with no sell on! Aargh! god, i hate them! Career
  21. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2035/26 League finish: 6th Championship Phase finish: 6th Really good season for us, took me a bit by surprise. We finished 6th which meant we qualified for the championship group. The top 6 teams are put in a league togerher and their points halved. they then play each other twice and the winner is champion. So, bizarrely, we had a shot at both the title and Champions League qualification! We won three of our ten games in the championship group and missed out on the European Play-off game by 1 goal! Players Top Goalscorer: L de Pauw 26C (24 goals in 36 games) Got himself injured for the last few games of the season and we missed him. Easily our best striker now and, at 26, our most experienced player Player of the Season: A Vandenheede 30C (7.21 AR in 28 games) Nowhere near as good as he has been in previous seasons but still good enough to be our best player My best XI is looking both very good and very young. It's quite exciting! Youth I was very excited now we've maxed out youth intake but both the preview and intake were really disappointing... Finances During the summer I got a message that Monaco triggered the minimum release fee clause of my 18 year old left back Lewis Niro 32B. At 8.75m, I wasn't too upset about losing any future fee clause. Plus, he was only a left back So I had a choice: do I keep the money and stay financially viable for a couple of season or do I spend it all on as many upgrades as I can? Well.. I asked for a training facility improvement and the said no, only to come back to me a few days later and ask me this:- yes. yes it is what I want. So it meant I finished the season in the red again but looking much, much better off the pitch. I still need to sell to survive though, annoying as that is. Career
  22. it is weird but it's also how I tend to do it. If the legacy players don't have stupid wages I usually keep them around as subs/squad players but more often than not my entire first team XI is under 21 at that stage depends, but if he's better or as good as your starting keeper then I'd play him. My first team keeper at the minute is only 17, purely because his potential far outweighs my old keepers CA. Sometimes it really pays off to throw them in the first team really young and you can only really tell by playing them! (my 17 year old keeper is averaging over 7.0, i'm happy with that!) I do it just like you do! the only difference is for those rotational players with high PA I'll send out on loan when they're 19/20. I like to keep a few rubbish players around just for squad depth as well as I'd much rather send a 19 year old 4 star PA player out on loan where he'll play regularly than on my subs bench. My subs bench tends to be the older players or lower PA players I also send out 2 and 3 star PA players out on loan if I have a fairly big squad - every now and then one comes back with a 4 star PA and become a really useful first team player 15-18 year olds stay in the youth squads unless they look really, really good Please do! I love following other peoples saves in this challenge - you get some really interesting stories I had a fun save in Croatia a couple of years ago
  23. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2034/35 League finish: 13th Relegation playoff group: 1st Another relegation battle we comfortably survive. We're slowly improving but still susceptible to long winless runs, which really don't help with a relatively short league. Players Top Goalscorer: Adam Vandenheede 30C (20 in 38 games) Player of the Season: Adam Vandenheede 30C (7.42 in 38 games) I'm so glad he rejected that contract from Mechelen and signed a new one with us. He was superb for us this season, much better than he looks on paper. so good in fact that he won this award:- :- always nice to get a golden boy! wonderkids still no official wonderkids but.... had a really good breakthrough season for us with 14 goals and 9 assists in 28 games Youth So, best preview yet couple with the worst intake yet. What's that about? Still lost my star ratings too! Top 4 prospects were all wingers, which is fine except I don't use wingers! none of them look good enough to persuade me to change either Career
  24. i think 25 is OK. I've started the challenge with far fewer players! Some people have had to play grey players as they haven't had enough to make a full XI so 25 isn't bad at all. It will sonn increase once youth intakes come in as well.
  25. Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2033/34 League finish: 8th Second phase finish: 4th A nice, boring season. Easily avoided the relegation group. Only negative was when we got to the silly second phase we were a bit rubbish and only won twice. In all, two victories in the last fourteen games is making me a little nervous for next season Players Top Scorer: Leandro de Pauw 26C (20 goals in 37 games) Player of the Season: Leandro de Pauw 26C (7.23 rating from 37 games) Officially our most valuable player. Now 24, coming to the limit of his potential, he's perfectly balanced between being a good Pro Jupiler player, but not good enough to attract any attention from abroad. Perfect player for a Belgian save! Wonderkids Adam Vandenheede 30C - I tried to sell him in the offseason as he was considering his options, agreed a deal for 250k with Mechelen but he rejected their terms. So I figured I'd keep him another season, massage his ego a lot, and hope he wants to sign with us at the end of his contract. I'm glad he did because:- Technically not a wonderkid yet but my first appearance, and winner, of the NXGN list. Nice! Also appearing on the list, at number 27, was Axl Thil 30A - no 19, still at Nice, and capped 3 times by the Belgian national side. I am still livid at my board for selling him frorm under my nose for a measly 61k Youth I've still lost the star rating you get for youth previews and intakes. No idea where it's gone! I'd give them both 5* though - maxxing out youth recruitment is a magical thing in Belgium! five elite talents is pretty, pretty good! best two, once I'd signed them, were these two. Look at those values already! very excited about these two! I have a full squad in both U21 and U18 now and the wage bill has crept right up so we're going to need a clearout this summer I think. Finances Not great tbh. But also, could be a lot worse considering where we are. But no improvements look likely in the near future. Career As long as i can stay in the Jupiler Pro I might have half a chance in Belgium. We'll see
