Popular Post Elsjorro
Cottbus 2047-2048 So im not sure where i left with updating, but i think it was this season. So, really gutted to see Nijhof leaving. Absolute beast he is. Went on a free to Chelsea. Tried everything to renew his contract, but he didnt want to. So thats that. So i lost the preview, but we have the intake ofcourse: It aint half bad. If i have to do predictions, El Arabi, Wagner Schultz and Smit are going to get there minutes: So, after finishing behind die gelben in the previous season, we came on top again to win our 2nd Bundesliga title. Season stats: Jansen had a very good season replacing Hortnagl in the top position. Also Pena did a good season again and Schubert is showing himself as the leader in the defense. So, Jansen came in 2nd as wonderkid of the world. Not to shabby. So, lets take a look how the 2 best players we ever got trough are doing: Dogan went on to almost play 50 caps for germany scoring a whopping 22 goals. He Went on a free to Bayern and after that Bayern sold him to Real, where he bangs in the goals. Absolute world class player. Nijhof, first season without him. He kept scoring at the Blues. I miss him...

I wanted to have another team with Foreign regens and that is why I end up with a wonderful club Africanos Bragança ! A team in Portugal with african students (mostly from Cape Verde) . As a tribute to @XaW 's hard work with this club, I will try to achieve the challenge with this team (with only youth) for him I had to reload 40 times ! They have facebook, instagram and an old website but no wikipedia and very few news articles. I did see some recent youtube videos (in portuguese) about their project. They were formed in 2000 and according to their website they attracted studens from Angola, Cape Verde, Guiné Bissau, Moçambique & São Tomé e Príncipe . African Student Association Bragança-IPB, has as its main objective to defend the interests of all African students studying at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Promoting the bond of friendship between peoples, culture and Sport. Instituto Politécnico de Bragança - Escola Superior de Educação The U19 (only thing i changed according to real life) joined the U19 Bragança league and can get promoted to higher U19 leagues. Something that wasn't possible at the Braves. Stadium Parque Desportivo De Santa Apolonia - Capacity 1000( 1000 seats) - Poor Youth facilities & Adequate Training facilities Can't find a lot of information but they have 1000 seats according to FM but in real life they have .. none Squad We start with 13 real players and 6 newgens from first intake. The homegrown rule will be the biggest challenge, most of the players above aren't homegrown so i'll have to use many grey players in the first season(s). Spoiler Key players Oliveira is our best defender, Bilimbota is our best striker. Youth intake 2022 - Best of the class Moreno 22A is a good fast striker for this level, i like him ! Spoiler Facts I know this will be a hardcore challenge, especially in the early seasons with hardly any homegrown players to meet the mandatory registration rules. I expect to end up in the relegation playoffs for a few seasons and have to survive there. Let the games begin ! Makoto Nakamura
2036/37 End of Season Review We lost 3rd on the very last day of the season but I would still count it as a very successful season, the players are getting better every year so it won't be too long before we get promoted. Popular Post libbyshuss
2049/50 (Season 28) Premier League Season Summary League - Much the same as last season. We were pretty consistent against those teams below us but got hammered on a regular basis against those in the top ten. Our goal difference will give away just how much but we lost a few this season by at least 5 goals. We are such a long way from competing in that top half of the league FA Cup - lost at home in the 3rd round against Swansea, who were 18th in the Championship at the time Players So here we go. About half the team are premier league standard, the rest are Championship level at best. Those better payers haven't really made that leap forward I was hoping and need them to make either, sadly. Ah well... Ian Stewart 43C is a really odd one. 12 goals and 10 assists from 38 games as a winger is pretty good, no? But look at that average rating..... 6.64! He's been like it his entire career, his attributes and CA/PA say one thing, and his performances say another. I've never had a player get below 6 as a matc rating so often. But then, every 4 or 5 games, he'll turn into George Best and win us a game. Honestly, he's so frustrating! Usually when I get inconsistent players like that I ship them on at the first opportunity but ths challenge doesn't offer you that lucury, so I'm stuck with him... A tip of the hat to my Mexican marvel Christian Cervantes 36A. Now 30, he decided not to renew his contract and move on this summer, joining Sivasspor. He made his debut for us in the National League and was brilliant for us all the way untilt he premier league. He couldn't quite make that step up sadly and leaves us after 445 league games, 87 goals, 116 assists and an average rating of 7.16. What a legend! Youth So this bodes quite well for the future There's no obvious wonderkids or superstars in there but hopefully we'll have the basis of a good squad coming through in the next few years. Trouble is, I'm a that stage where it's really difficult to bring youth players through without risking losing too many games. My best youth system in the world gave me this preview and intake which is..... underwhelming I guess. So the good news is that the top 2 prospects have really good determination and personalities. Also, according to my coach reports, a 3 star potential report is being seen as potential premier league standard. So it may be that those ratings are just a reflection of how good the squad is now. We're about to play our 3rd permier league season I guess! Career Edited December 14, 2021 by libbyshuss

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 6 – 2027/28 Youth Intake Preview So our season ended up becoming a mixed bag. We could keep lots of clean sheets, but fail to score in lots of games too. If we could score more goals on a more consistent basis while keeping our clean sheets, we could be doing really well this season. As things stands, we've been able to do well, with a 10 point gap over both the relegation and relegation playoff zones. We just need to make sure that we can keep up our record of getting results. Our youth intake preview looks like it could be our best one yet. We've been promised 2 centre-backs, which is by far our best preview to date. Will this mean that we could keep things going up? With this being Hélio Pinto's last intake (as he refuses to sign a new deal), it'll be the last time we see Pinto delivering us the reports. If you want to take a more detailed look at our progression and the games we've played, feel free to watch the video that is linked down below. It's really appreciated. Popular Post DrJones
Recreativo de Huelva 2022/2023 Season review A great first season in the fourth tier of spain, my expectations when taking charge of the team were to fight for promotion. Some of our players are way to good to play in the fourth tier, my only concern were regarding the age of the squad I inherited but it worked out just fine. Most of the teams did not stand a chance against our 4-3-3 brutal gegenpress. I think we are well prepared for the third tier, unfortunatly both one of my starting centrebacks and my leftback is retiring and we will probably concede a little more goals, but all in all our squad is pretty strong and the youth intake were better than I could imagine Youth Intake Great prospect! Will probably get a good amount of starts next season at right back In my opinion the absolute best of them all, will start right away next season Ok, he is not top three of the prospects but a pretty good one, the main thing about this guy is his nationality of course Vamos Recre!

I thought the same but I've tried him in lots of different roles all across attacking midfield and it's always the same. So if it is tactical, I'm beggared if I'm changing it any more just to suit him! At this stage its just easier to chalk it down to him being abnormally inconsistent, he's been driving me nuts for years. The other thing makes me think its him is that other players that look worse in attributes have performed much better in those same roles.
XaW
XaW - Canet Roussillon - Season 2022/23 - Championnat National Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances I'm playing this quite a bit slower than I usually do, so I hope this will make me more successful, and that progress might not take as many seasons as before. So as I took over the club, I surveyed the squad, and I think it's quite solid. Well, the first 11 is, but the quality drops off quite fast. So I settled on a quite small group of players, and just hoped for few injuries. The base of the team worked out to be goalkeeper Damien Graves, defenders Vincent Decker and Souleymane Coulibaly, midfielders Kadiapome Mendy, Chris Lybohy, and Toufik Ouadoudi, as well as more attacking players in Willem Pierre-Charles, Abdoulaye Diaby, and Naim Hamdi. So I (re)created my old trusted 4-5-1/4-3-3 with wide attackers and a DM. We don't have the best full backs, but they are passable at least. Turns out, we can score a lot of goals! We ended as the most scoring team in the league, but defensively, we are not exactly great. Still working on defensive set pieces, since I feel we concede a lot from those. We rank one of the lowest teams in won headers, but I also think that is due to the fact that neither of my two best central defenders have jumping as their primary forte. Still, our good goalscoring made sure we were part of the top of the table through the season. Most teams fell behind Grenoble Foot 38 early on, but we were in contention for the 2nd promotion spot going into the final day. We would need to win, as well as a couple of teams dropping points. It looked good for a long while, but when we conceded to draw the game in the 85th minute the air went out of us and we just couldn't find a winner. In the end it didn't matter as both teams won and Stade Lavallois went up. Still a great first season for us. We lost quite a bit of money this season, but we made it back as the season finished. I hope to push for some improvements during the summer, but so far I've only gotten no. Except for coaching licenses that is, at that they are very helpful. I've finished National C and B, and are currently working on A. Coupe de France: We beat Canet (the other one), Martigues, Mulhouse, Furiani-Agliani, and Bourges Foot 18 before we lost to Red Star from the 2nd tier in the 10th round. Youth intake: Well this was a bit poor, compared to what I had in Portugal. At least a few good players came through. Victor Segura 23a is a very promising attacking midfielder. Expect him to be part of the first team squad next season. Malcolm Raynal 23b is the other who I want to highlight. A central defender I think could come in handy. Sanno11
Denbigh Town F.C - Season Summary 2029-2030 Squad | Finance | Transfers | Facilities JD Cymru Premier This was a frustrating season. In my mind, our squad was firmly established as the number two in Wales and this season proves, I still have a way to get there. We started the season in the middle of the Euro II qualifying and lost the opening couple of games, which I put down to fatigue. But after 10 games, we had lost the same as the total from the previous season. It felt like the other teams around us had got more competitive. In this league if you can pick up a handy young, pacey striker that has been released from the English leagues, it can turn your fortune around (see Connah's Quay). We managed to recover a little before the league split, finishing in fourth. The Championship stage wasn't much better in terms of consistency, but luckily for me, the other three teams in the top six kept exchanging results, so I actually claimed 3rd place without too much trouble. Reaching Europe is the only aim right now, so I should be more relaxed about it, 2nd or 3rd makes no difference in the bigger scheme of things. Euro Cup II We had a great run this season, getting to the fourth and final qualifying round. Beating Charleroi in the first leg, gave me a glimmer of hope, but they outclassed us in the return fixture. For us, this was game 7-8 in Europe for us and our best XI were tired and not good enough. The amazing news, is this run got us to just over 1.3 million in the bank, the board approved my request to turn professional. Step one, of the plan to overthrow TNS as champion of Wales is complete. Welsh Cup With the league form being so poor, I gave our best eleven a rest and my back ups and U19s were unable to beat Bangor in the 3rd round. Saves me losing to TNS later on I suppose Youth Intake I am really pleased with the last few intakes, we are now seeing quality and good personalities. Having a talented new keeper (Jefferies) is great, my existing keeper is solid, but has no competition at all. The players seem more well balanced now, and players like Davis (30b) and Nick Roberts (30c) can become part of the first team squad immediately. These lads will become professional footballers from next season, so they are lucky ones, who should have a better chance of developing. Neil Jeffries (30a) Graham Davis (30b) Nick Roberts (30c) Ben Griffith (30d) Club Overview This season one of the main objectives has been accomplished and we will become professional as on May 30th, making us the second club in Wales (with TNS of course). My board also approved a junior coaching improvement to my surprise, so that was a relief after years of asking. The U19s are still not in a league, which is annoying, but I just have to manage the situation with friendlies Edited December 15, 2021 by Sanno11
Popular Post libbyshuss
2050/51 (seasn 29) Premier League Season Summary Groundhog season! We managed to stay up, just, but it was our poorest season in the top division so far. League - we never really recovered from our poor start (5 defeats and a draw in the first 6 games) and spent most of the season in the bottom 3. After 20 games we had ony won 4 and were looking certain for relegation. A couple of good resuts and the table looked like this with 10 games to play Our next 4 games were all against teams in the top 6 as well, which didn't bode well. But we managed to dig in and beat 7th placed Chelsea and 3r dplaced Newcastle to give ourselves a real chance, particularly as the last 5 games were all against teams in the bottom 8. It was game on! With 5 games to go the tabe looked like this. We had a home game against Southampton which was the jey matchc, as well as away games at Villa and Norwich. It was all in our hands! We beat Villa and drew with Sheffield United before losing at Norwich. We went into the Southampton game 1 point ahead of them, although they had 2 games in hand due to their FA Cup run. A win was paramount and we scraped it out 1-0. So, into the last game.... Southampton were at home to Norwich, we were home to West Ham. We just needed a draw to be sure but even a defeat could be good enough. In the end Southampton won 2-1 and we drew 1-1 to just survuve by the skin of our teeth again. Relegation battles are kind of exciting but I could really do with a nice, boring season next year! FA Cup - went out in a replay to Middlesbrough round 4 Players So it's clear half this team just don't have what it takes at this level. But my hands are tied due to agreeing to this silly challenge!! oh to be doing the dafuge challenge right now, it would be so easy! Peter Foley 45A - so his coach report says his a good Championship level but his performances would sugges totherwise. His best ever season for me, ending with.... which isn't too shabby! Daniel Bennet 44A finaly signed a new 5 year contract. Our only official wonderkid in that team, he's our best player but still struggling with performances. Maybe because he's carrying the whole team at times. Fatih Yalcinkaya 44D - a rare success story from my loan players! He spent 4 seasons on loan, working his way up from league 2 to the Championship and came back in summer looking a new player. He was way better than my old keeper, so I sold him to Everton, promptly forgot his name, and promoted Fatih to number 1. He was great. Youth So I'm doing somthing right here, and it's the results of this youth team that are keeping me going with this save at the minute. They were runners up in the youth league this season, after winning last season, and made the semi-fina of the UEFA Youth league too. They're could be some crackers in here. The other thing keeping me going is the results of the top 50 wonderkids list Ross Johnstone 49B wasn't a huge surprise, although him being high as 6th was, as he broke through into the first team at 17 this season. But Matt Hill-Onyenuga 45E was a real surprise. He'd been ticking over nicely in the youth squad, reached 18 and was too good for the U19 team but nowhere good enough for our first team. So I sent him out on loan to league 2 Chesterfield, where he was doing ok. But I didn't think he was that good! This years preview was encouraging The intake was pretty good as well. Especially those personalities. I'm loving this new HoYD that I appointed! Career
Daddy
Intake Preview: The team doesn't have glaring weaknesses for the level we're playing at so there's no desperate need to rush anyone along which is nice. There's not much young depth though so this will help build towards that. Midseason Break Table: Only behind two teams that were recently relegated down to this division and looking to move back up, a team regularly at the top of this division but not good enough to break through, and Red Bull Salzburg's B team. Those four teams hammered us to get that lower GD. Not sure if this is an Austrian League thing (it wasn't in the rules) or some other random bonus. I was able to get one upgrade though

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 6 – 2027/28 – Our 200th Game In Charge! Goals have been hard to come by as of late, but despite that, our defence has been able to rescue us enough times to keep the points coming in. We've become the best team at drawing this season, so even if we're not winning, we're not losing either. Our defensive record this season has stopped us from being further down the table, where our attack has failed us. Still, our match against Braga B was our 200th game in charge at the club, and while we didn't win, it gave me some hope. My latest video showed our squad and how poor we've been so far. Popular Post OlivierL
Intro Africanos Bragança - Portugal - Season 1 (2022/2023) Review - 4th tier - Campeonato De Portugal Squad| Youth Intake 23 | Transfers | Finances| Fixtures 1 | Fixtures 2 Campeonato De Portugal : We finished 7th in the regular competition and had to play the relegation stage. We lost in our final game but Sabugal did the same.. so we are staying up ! Very difficult with an average of 5 'real' players that i could use , had to use 3 or 4 grey players in the first eleven , and also a very 'grey' bench. Taça de Portugal: Lost in the first round. U19 : Our U19 lost their final game against Bragança (our neighbours) and finished 2nd. Only the champion gets promoted. so our U19 stays in the 3rd tier. Key Players Oliveira is our best defender but isn't homegrown so i couldn't use him in the relegation stage. Pereira is our other DC and he had a 'good' season. Academy graduate with most Appearances (This season) Moreno 22A played the most games as academy player and scored 4 , assisted 5. Miscellaneous The board upgraded almost everything , asking it only one or two times. New president elected but he has no intention to invest. Aim for next season It was a frustrating season because of the homegrown rules. I know the second one will be like that too so I hope to not get relegated again and hold on. maybe by September I can use some extra youth players. Popular Post WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere: Bel Pro A 2041/42 (Season 20) -- Youth Intake Special I usually do my updates all in one shot but I wanted to push out just this youth intake now and we can talk about my seasonal woes later. Youth Intake Preview was Nothing Too insane. Most are 5* now, and two A ratings at CAM is solid but not unheard of And then March 25th came and for once the preview didn't lie to my face Seriously Dider Faure might be our chosen one: For reference to how high the coaches are rating him, my coaches only consider 5 of my current starting players as higher than 3*. He will sign and immediately start and be one of our top midfielders, at 15! While he is small and not the fastest he should grow an inch or two and gain a decent amount of physical ability. He is the first signing who is truly talented and coincides with being 2 seasons after finishing upgrading my Youth Facilities to excellent. I already know when this guy turns 18 he will almost certainly be sold, but these next 3 seasons will be glorious watching him develop in our midfield. Enzo Remy the other A rated CAM may have some potential especially if he drops back into a DLP roll because dang he's slow and got a bummer of a personality on him. And here's the B DM Hicham Hajji Can see him being a viable player for us depending on how his attributes develop. Bummer is we don't use DMs so he'll have to develop his two weaker positions of LB and CM. The rest are your run of the mill players, but we do have one more 5* potential and a handful of 3.5*s so they may become useful.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Canet Roussillon - Season 2023/24 - Championnat National Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, this season was quite the fun one for us. It did start a bit slow though, as we drew 5 of the first 8 matches of the season. After that we did start to pick up more points and slowly rise up the table. At one point it looked like SO Cholet would run away with things as they won the first 12 matches in a row. However, they faltered a bit after that and it allowed the rest of us to catch up. The same bunch of players were the core of my team as before, but I started to blood our new midfielder, Victor Segura 23a, and he is coming along nicely. However, it was another youngster who got much more game time, and it's not because he is a bigger talent, but just due to lack of great players, and some injuries. Malcolm Raynal 23b didn't play well, but he did play and developed because of it As it turns out, we had a great end to the season and we were promoted with a few games to spare. And when SO Cholet screwed up, we overtook them as well to claim the title! I'm not sure we can stay up next season, but we will give it our all, that's for sure! We continue to lose money, but based on the transfer budget the board has allocated for next season (over £1.5m!), I have hope we get some cash for playing in the 2nd tier! Due to this we are going professional during the summer, and I hope to use that to improve things at the club. Because all has been denied so far. Once again, coaching badges aside since I currently have completed the Continental B, and are working on A. Oh, and we are building a new stadium! Coupe de France: We beat Municipaux Troyes and RCO Agde before we lost to Le Puy Foot 43 as I tried to rotate the squad to keep them fresh. Not a good move. Youth intake: We don't get excellent youth intakes, but this was not that bad. Two very big talents are always welcome. Mohamed Bouguelmouna 24a is a promising right back. Really aggressive guy, but I hope he can manifest it in good performances rather than cards. Tiago Teixeira 24b is an out and out goalscorer, but what's wrong with that? Perhaps it's tweaked a bit too far, but for me it has been about right.
Winski
Garbarnia Kraków 2022/2023 (season 1)League table | Competition overview | Finances | Facilities | Transfers | Club overview | Manager profile Wow, what a season this was! Everything just clicked together. My tactic worked very well with this squad. After 20 matches we lost our first match of the season. So I knew quite early in the season that becoming champions was a realistic option. The second half of the season was a bit more difficult, but at the end we won the competition with 10 points ahead of the number 2. So it was a wonderful season! Next season will be our debut in Ekstraklasa. Looking at the teams, and comparing it to my team, it will be all about surviving. But we are ready for the challenge! Best players this season were my striker Michał Feliks, inverted winger Kamil Kuczak, other inverted winger/striker Jakub Kuczera and goalkeeper Dorian Frątczak, who also scored 2 league goals with 2 freekicks. Our finances are terrible at the moment, because of this message. It's the only explanation I've got for the €2,3M ground maintenance costs. Youth intake Well, our facilities are quite terrible at the moment, so I didn't expect any wonders. Our first intake wasn't one to remember. These are the best talents. Let's hope that one or two can take the step to the first team. Because of our terrible financial state we can't upgrade anything, so we need to do it with our current facilities.Hopefully @XaW you don't mind I'll use your foreign intake overview, I really like it for my own save to track foreign youngsters.

Popular Post The7Striker
Staal Jørpeland IL Season 2022 Facilities Transfers Released Finances Squad I Squad II The club is very basic in terms of facilites but the truth is with these finances, we cannot improve anything. Due to the transfer listed bug we lost 2 important players a CD/DR and my main GK but it is what it is.Released 3 non contrat players cuz they quality was horrible. Squad looks okay for this level with some Youth from the first intake, specialy the GK. Postnord-Ligaen Avdeling 2 Season Prev Games I Games II What a season!!! Unbelievable !! Its safe to say that luck had an important role, favourite sides like Oygarden and UII/Kisa have been far from their best but all come down to the final game where Skeid lost to Molde 2 as we lost to Oygarden, as a result: we are champions and Oygarden survives. By 1 point the best team finish in 2 th place. Norgesmesterskapet I Fotball A nice cup run. We push Tromso to the penalty shootout, they took the victory. Key Players Absolutely animals, We own this two our championship. Shame that Even want to retire from professional football. Youth Intake Very poor quality as expected but if i have to choose Broe and Gya are the best, by far. Get ready for the Green Army And thats it for this season !!
aldojags
@WhiteCat33great intake, Faure is a future Champions league calibre player, superstar for sure! I find Remy's "casual" personality strange when he has high work rate etc, the 2 dont add up do they? But if you can mentor him appropriately and get his physicals even a few points better, then yeh I'd agree you have a good DLP on your hands there. Popular Post Koetzer
Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur – season 2034 So close to the trophy! After defeating Fiorentina and two Turkish teams we advanced to the final against Heerenveen which went all the way to shootout. And our center-back Þórðarson, who scored two important goals in these playoff games, missed the decisive 8th penalty. Still he was selected as the tournament’s best player, with Kristinsson coming second! Defending the title was quite easy, but I wanted to finish unbeaten and didn't allow any complacency this time. Cups – we could win all domestic trophies this season, but after all the postponements had to play the final during the international break. I actually had to field several players who have just come from the academy, and this experimental squad couldn’t cope with KA. Champions League qualifiers – two previous tries ended early, but now we were seeded and made all the way to the group stage! The only loss in Bulgaria with a 92nd minute goal couldn’t change the overall result. Group stage – we won in Dortmund! Of course, this game meant nothing for them, but still what an amazing way to finish the year after five defeats (and get 2.8 million more in the bank)! Should have also grab points against Nice at home, but failed to score. Youth League – U19 team won the group in their debut season and will continue the tournament in spring! Transfers – a huge loss happened in summer, when Milan activated release clauses for Magnusson and Kristinsson. Luckily our attacking star turned down their contract, but losing the best left-back still hurts. Also I didn’t want to sell Sigurbjörnsson, but he wanted to leave with very low release fee, so I only could offer him for a bit lower amount with a friendly (which gave us almost the same money as transfer itself) and future clause. Three players from the first intake left as well, thanks for their commitment to the club but now we have better youngsters. Squad stats – I praised Kristinsson for rejecting an offer from Milan… nevermind, instead he chose the Arabic money in December Though his backup Helgason also had impressive stats, so hopefully he will step up next season. Eyþórsson is probably the next to leave us, with Juventus interested and 1.5M release clause it’s unlikely that we could do anything. Youth intake Cataño *34a | Steingrímsson *34b | Sigþórsson *34c | Elíasson *34d | Gunnarsson *34e | Sigurðsson *34f | Guðjónsson *34g Good choice of attacking players, but I have to highlight left-back Guðjónsson as he’s going straight to the first team after Magnusson’s departure. The facilities will be topped in a few months, thanks to the Champions League money. And our rise in rankings is really impressive, though I guess it will stop here as getting points in Conference League was way easier

After I signed him his value range is 25-40M! That has me scared though as the club is dead broke so most likely he will be gone in the summer due to board shenanigans ... I agree high work rate thematically doesn't fit with casual but I'm pretty sure determination is the only visible attribute that affects personalities. Pretty dire there and who knows how bad the other ones are Edit: you know Faure's good when his agent agrees to this Edited December 16, 2021 by WhiteCat33

Leadership can also influence personality in some cases (Leader (19-20), Charismatic Leader (19-20+Sporting 18-20 and Temperament 18-20), and Born Leader (20 +Determination 20)). These will also have an age requirement (23 years or older). Other than that Determination is only visible attribute for personalities.

Popular Post libbyshuss
2050/51 (season 29) Premier League Season Summary Now this is much more like it! I think the team came of age this season and we were able to carry on our good form of last season. We weren't quite Leicester City but we did manage to only lose 1 game in our last 8 which propelled us into the top 6 and Europe for next season! After 3 seasons of relegation battles this was a very welcome change! We even managed to do the double over Chelsea, although they're not quite the force they once were. FA Cup was less impressive. Out in 5th round at home to Reading, who were 18th in the Championship at the time. Players So with largely the same players the only difference is the experience and age of my key players. Midfield in particular finally reached an age where they could handle the pressure! Peter Foley 45A won the premier league top scorer again, and also.... He's really improved since hitting his 20s. I think I'm noticing a trend where players are hitting their potential a little later than they have in previous games. I might need to take that into account with planning and not throw young players in too soon. Youth U18s were runners up in the premier league again! After 30 years of asking the board still has not given me a U23 team so as soon as my youths reach 19 I have to either chuck them in the first team or send them out on loan. Having a European adventure next season means more opportunities for the younglings, but how many do I hold back? Here's this years preview and the intake was quite nice really! Karol Kovacik is a nice one, the first fruite of our new affiliation with top Slovak side Zilna! a future Slovak international there I reckon! I'm a little more excited about Odita though - he looks like one of the best youth we've got at intake for years. Really nice personality and starting attributes Just the one wonderkid in the top 50 this year. Better than nothing though! and number 6 too! Career Edit: This may or may not be good..... Are we really worth £793m???? Edited December 16, 2021 by libbyshuss
King Axther
Why Israel? Wanted to try the challange in my country, as it should be interesting to try it in a not so good footballing country. While I do start from the 2nd division, It will be hard as the rules in the Israeli premier league state that only 6 foreigners are allowed, which means any good Israeli player anyone has, becomes hot market in seconds. About the city and the team: So Hapoel Ashkelon is a team from the city, well Ashkelon! Ashkelon is a beutiful coastel city, with a population of 144,000~ citizens. The city was founded not so long time ago in 5880 BCE (as a Neolithic settlement), and had many of diffrent variations to it untill becoming an Israeli city in 1953. In addition to the rich history fo the city, the football club itself managed to get to the Israeli premier league 3 times, ones in 1997-1998, 2010-2011 and 2016-2017, although they failed to leave any impact at all. A nice picture form the website https://simplex-smart3d.com/ as it is the only one that has 3D models in Israel, Not to shabby of a training complex and the mediterranean sea right up next, what more do you need? Manager Profile: I hope this save will last a while, and that we could survive! Edited December 16, 2021 by King Axther
