Popular Post WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere: Pro A 2041/42 (Season 20) Season Review Performance: 7th place, last in EC2 Playoffs An underwhelming year to say the least. While we had strokes of brilliance we were seriously inconsistent and couldn't reliably get the points against the lower teams to get us back into Europe. I've used the exact same squad for 3-4 seasons now and we finally have a crop of ready youngsters so I can make some decisions to move on underperforming players. While I'll be keeping most of the offense intact at least for now I may make some major defensive adjustments as my 'year of the CB' have gotten first team ready. The real disappointment is still our striker. Who has dropped off substantially the past two years. Even with the midfield stepping up in goal production we still aren't getting those clutch goals to turn the tide of matches. I'm giving him one more season and then will be making some hard decisions. I have to say, while I of course understood Belgium has some strong clubs I expected to see a couple clubs dominant and us able to climb over the rest. Now while Club Brugge and Charleroi are pretty clearly the top two clubs I did not expect it to be this competitive in Belgium with 5 different teams winning the league the past 5 seasons. With only 5 European spots available it is getting harder (not easier) to break into contention as these five become fairly evenly balanced. The rise in strength of the league combined with other midtable clubs being feeders for the likes of Man City and Atalanta has brought up the level of play domestically. If only they paid us for it! Finances: We are back to our broke existence. I will be shocked if the board doesn't force me to sell our Wonderkid Didier Faure 42b next season. I plan to make some other sales over the summer to right the ship a little, which combined with a lower wage bill should stem the bleeding. However, until we are back in Europe or we sell our wonderkid there won't be any upgrades anytime soon. Transfers: RAAL Academy 2026 & 2027 Reunion Following on Casali's successful organization last season of an Academy Reunion he got the ball in motion for a double reunion this summer to celebrate our most decorated international star Julle Kiala 26b of DR Congo. RAAL Academy Class of 2026 Spoiler Very small class this year as it seems most disappeared early, but of the 3 one is our most decorated International: Julle Kiala 26b: Our first big international player for DR Congo & first major sale to an Italian club for an 8M transfer in 2029 after 3 seasons as a dominant CB for us. He went and sat in the Inter reserves for 4 years before being released and picked up by Perugia in Serie B where he remains their starting CB. Perugia have had a couple slips into Serie C/B, but each time he has a very strong season to bring them back to B. For DR Congo he has made 64 CAPS and scored 2 goals as a consistent first team defender for his national team. So much so he has made it to the DR Congo Best 11 as the RB!! (The Apps difference I’m assuming is that he’s played 45 competitive matches though a total of 64 appearances with friendlies). Amateur Players: Juraj Mihalek 26e: One of our early Slovakian’s from the first affiliate, we sold him for a nominal fee early to URSL Viese in Pro B where he barely made any apperances before being released to Amateur side Durbuy in 2034 where he continues to play making 115 Apps and scoring 5 goals. Quentin Charpentier 26h: An amateur striker we released to Overijse where he’s made 324 apps and scored 159 goals RAAL Academy Class of 2027 Spoiler Gautier Andre 27a: A really good GK prospect that was our first team GK for 3 seasons till Standard came in and stole him away at 1.6M. I’d have to look back at why I agreed to it, but my guess was his salary demands were way beyond what we could realistically afford. He was Standard’s backup keeper for 7 years before being sold to Roda JC who he helped get promoted to Eredivisie and slowly fell into a Cup Keeper role . He was released this Summer and has returned to Pro A to play for Tubize-Braine. Boris Henry 27c: Our first good Academy Right AM. He came in a Striker I believe, but has awful finishing so retrained to where he was a dominant fixture for our club. We let him go on a free in 2037 to RC Harelbeke in Pro B where he made a handful of appearances till they got promoted to Pro A. Last year he left them for Cercle Brugge back in Pro B who unfortunately got relegated last season, so we will see if he can help them return to Pro B this year. Armel Lukebako 27l: An Early CM/CAM starter who became a rotation/backup for a number of years he was only just recently released to TOP Oss in Kreuken where he plays With Rene Jehl 25e in the Dutch 2nd Division. Amateur: Lucas Perrot 27b: He was a rotation player for us for a few seasons and remained a reserve till 2035 when we released him. He’s then bounced clubs every couple years never playing more than a rotation player roll. First Hoogstraten, then Diegem, and then VW Hamme making a total of 122 appearances in his career. Reynald Ducasse 27g: Another rotation player for us in his early seasons, but we let go of him earlier in 2030 on a free to Lierse Kempenzonen when they were Pro B. There he was a backup for two years before being released to Dessel where he has remained since 2031. Dessel have been a yo-yo in and out of the First Amateur (lowest playable) and he has been a first team player there getting 30 apps most seasons. His total is 277 Apps, 14 goals and 15 assists across his three clubs. Marwane Berrabeh 27k: An early youth departure LB who went to Waasland-Beveren in 2030 but never became a regular starter. He then moved to Searing FC where he was a First team player from 2033-40 when he left for Lierse Kempenzonen where he continues to start at LB. Total of 248 Apps and 18 assists across his career. Retired: Christ Magola 27d: IRC an adaptable AM who was a backup/rotation for us for a few seasons before he was sold. Looks like he struggled to break in at the lower league level, though Vitron won the first division the year before he retired early. Aymeric Alexandre 27j: Here is a very interesting player. He was a tower 6’6”ish CB who also was good at free kicks, so he had an amazing 2029/30 season where he had a 7.58 average rating and had 10 POM awards, which are both still single season Club records. He was such a dominant CB his few seasons with us he became a Club Icon. However, he declined like crazy very early and by 25 was significantly worse than the other CBs rising through the academy and we released him. Sadly, no club would pick him up as he wanted too high of a contract for his skill and he ended up retiring at just 25.

Popular Post JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 6 – 2027/28 Youth Intake So our latest run of fixtures has been nothing short of a disappointment. No wins in the last 6 games, and only a single win in the entirety of 2028, the season looks like it's becoming a struggle. The league tables tells me as such, as we are not only in 15th place and just 4 points clear of the relegation playoffs. We need points and quickly, or else things are going to be very bleak. However, we also had our latest youth intake and that is anything but bleak. Ricardo Santos was the best of the players in our latest intake, and despite not having the best self belief, he has a lot of potential that I believe he can reach. Will Pope is a player that most people would dream of having, his personality is just as useful. He is one of two Luís Santos', but he is a player that I will be using as both a central midfielder and a defensive midfielder. The last of the exciting players is Manuel Campos, a young Angolan defender, who joins a long list of exciting central defenders at the club. For a closer look at the other players, feel free to watch my latest video, it's where I covered all the other high potential players I've not talked about in the post. Popular Post The Gold Guard
OFK Beograd - Year 20 (2041/42) League | ContinentalSquad | Season XI | Overall XI Tough year and were so close to doing another “three-peat”. We ended up only getting Europa League football this time around but to be honest we were better off in the second-tier competition and scraping a few wins than just getting battered every game. We just haven’t got the same team anymore and need a lot of consolidation. The chemistry was hard to balance throughout the whole season and I'm hoping to positively build on it for next season and snatch some silverware. Transfers | Finances Our biggest injection so far and I only feel like it is only going to exponentially increase. Our reputation is the best amongst the rest in Serbia and it means we get to shift those demands higher each year. Preview | Intake | Intake 2 Due to transfers out and injuries, I was left with no choice but to promote my new GK to the first team and he ended up staying there until the end of the season. I am happy with how he showed himself and will keep him with the #1 shirt. Everyone else was super solid in the intake but will have to prove themselves the hard way out on loan when the time comes. Notable Prospects: Milovan Jevtic (42A) | Sinisa Jagodic (42B) Healthy Crops: Ljubisa Stojanovic (35C) I don’t know how he hasn’t left yet but he bleeds blue. I hope I can keep him as a one-club-man because he really deserves it. Not as good of a season but hard to replicate greatness year-in-year-out! Richard Grainger (36F) The British Virgin Islander had come in after a plethora of stints on loan and became my new ball-winning midfielder. As much as I am overjoyed to have a BVI product come through, I don't think I will have as much time left with him as he wants to go to new challenges abroad. Jovica Stojkovic (39B) I am glad to have had the pleasure of someone like him come through the system but I think it’s time to go. To keep him here for this long has been a tough fight and I don’t think he is playing his best because of his lack of happiness and crave for ambition. All the best in future endeavours. Ivan Jovic (30E) As crap as he looks on paper compared to my other first teamers, he is still the highest rated after every damn season. A tremendous asset who probably won’t ever get the big move abroad but definitely a Serbian Superliga legend. ___________________________ As I approach the third decade of my save I have made the decision that this will be my last update for 2021. I am going back to my hometown over the summer-break (Aus) - going to detox from electronic devices and spend time with family. Have a Merry Christmas everyone and all the best during this holiday period! See you all soon with more OFK Beograd progress in 2022
Popular Post Daddy
2022-2023 Final Table: Team came back from midseason break in terrible form and never really sorted out. Not sure if the first half of the season was fools gold, or second half was just a bad run. Second and third upgrade for the season. No dice going professional yet. Class of 2023 Youth Intake: Either a tremendous group of players or the legacy players are thin talent wise. Regardless no complaints here. Personalities lacking, but hopefully they can be mentored/fined away. 2023-2024 Season Preview: Not too sure what to make of the upcoming season. Which half was the true team? A very high upside intake, but none look ready to take over any starting or even back up spots.

Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* Had to take a few days off FM as I was getting annoyed with it, but as always being away for a few days reignited the spark: Molodechno-DYuSSh-4 2029 - season 10 Belarussian Highest League A boring season. We've been seeing a decline ever since finishing 5th in 2027. I can't seem to find a tactic that steadies our performances throughout a season. We can beat the top teams one week and lose against the bottom ones the next. Youth intakes have been very mediocre and upgrades are far away due to being 2 million in the red. I have been able to keep hold of my star players though. Transfers I've started offloading players who won't make it beyond the reserves, quite a few contracts expiring soon as well. Squad Sachivko has made his full international debut this season, and I've managed to extend his contract without release clause. Interest from other clubs has dried up. It seems to be a possibility to keep him here for the rest of his career which would be great. Petrov is going to be the next international player if he keeps this up. He won't extend without a 150k release clause though, so I need to think about what I want with him. Kondratjev kind of blindsided me and started developing from a decent player to a very useful one. Loshankov is more of a hard-working MR but did well as AMR. Might try and find a spot more suitable for him. Maschenko stopped providing this season. Seeing as Pavlovets and Lebedev both have potential and we're without a good option on the left side, I might retrain him into a winger role. Youth intake Like I said, not much to choose from. Koshko's CA and personality are terrible. Hopefully some mentoring will launch his development but I don't have a lot of hope. Next season Do NOT relegate, make money somehow. Selling Petrov with a good sell-on clause might help, but former star youth Kozlov went from BATE to Porto for only 425K so that didn't help much before.

WhiteCat33
This was a surprise! Felt bad turning them down. Any other save man... Also shocking they are sacking him, he took the US to the Semi Final where they lost to Spain who went on to win their 3rd Consecutive World Cup while The US won the consolation match making it now 3 top 3 finishes for the US this save. EDIT - Figured it's worth showing my coach now. While he's good, I think that was a big step of faith by the US to have him take over the 4th ranked national team in the world having never won a Domestic Top Flight or Cup. Sanno11
Overcoming TNS: Denbigh start to sense weakness. This just happened and I had to share. In the penultimate game of the league season we faced TNS at home, and whilst we didn't win, we actually created more chances them for the first time ever. In previous victories, we were always lucky. In this game we lost, but we were unlucky and that is a huge positive. 19/04/2031 03/05/2031 Then two weeks later we faced them in the Welsh Cup Final. This was a game they largely controlled, but it was incredible to watch the 5-10 minute spell we had in the second half, that led to the equaliser. Then we held on for dear life until penalties. Our keeper was the hero saving two of TNS's penalties. With a squad of 16 for the final all products of the academy this was a great way to round off the first season as a professional club.

Popular Post RicoFoma
Oh... my... god... Season 27/28 (Season 6) So if you followed my last updates then you know something weird happened at the start of the season. We smashed almost everyone. So much so that after half the season, this was the result: Insane. Absolutely insane. We were 10 points clear of 3rd place at this point and I got scared because I had no idea whatsoever how this happened and also I got scared because... well, how would we ever deal with promotion? Well long story short So yeah. We got promoted with a team that qualitywise was barely good enough to stay in the 2. Bundesliga, according to my coaches. How? I don't know. My tactics must be crazy good there's no other explanation. By the way, after 27 games we had 46 points. Meaning in 10 games we had gotten 7 points. But since we had so many points after half the season, we stayed in contention the entire time and in the end we played most of the bottom teams. In fact all of them. And so we went on to get the points and got promoted. And I have no idea how to survive and will have to pray for a run of good form and my tactics holding up... Unbelievable indeed... it just happened so I'm still out of explanations. So my youth intake then: Preview: It wasn't as good as it has been but... it then turned out to be one of the best ones I've had. Some of you will ask: But were they unambitious? Yes, Volkan Cakmak and one more player were, but most had good personalities or were at least decent. Even a resolute one in Colin Müller so real improvement. I will point out a few of the players in my team who were once regens in the next post because right now I'm just still in disbelieve.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Canet Roussillon - Season 2024/25 - Ligue 2 Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Ligue 2, we survived your attack on us! But it was quite close though, as I chronicled in a few posts here. Some divisions you can go up or down one, and still be about equally competitive, but here the gap sure is bigger. At least going professional helps the development of our players, but we are still lacking quite a bit compared most of the teams here. Based on that I do expect us to stay here for a while as we keep improving the squad over the next years. This season was all about survival and staying here, since the financial reward is so much higher than ever before. And other than that, there were some really big changes off the pitch this season, and next will probably be the same. We sure noticed the upside of playing here financially, and we made a lot of money this season. If the overall balance seems low in that regard, it's because we got improvements to both training and youth facilities that were completed during the season, and another pair of improvements under way. In addition to that we've gotten a couple of improvements to junior coaching and youth recruitment done. Finally, I finished the Continental A license and are now working on the Pro one! All the improvements aside, we are scheduled to move into our new stadium this summer, even if we didn't even fill half of the old one. The reason was the league requirements, so we will at least comply to those going forward. A lot of improvements, and I hope to reap the benefits in the coming seasons. Coupe de France: We beat Chamalières before we lost to Angers in the 9th round. Youth intake: Better than last season, and some needed players. Even a talented central defender, and at this club those are rare as snowballs in Sahara! Marco Moulin 25a is a promising winger, a speed merchant, for sure, but hopefully he can develop. Mickael Serrani 25b is a more versatile player with a wider variety of attributes. Excellent mentals! Soloman Pineau 25c is finally a talented goalkeeper, and probably the first I'd select as my future goalscoring goalkeeper! Younes Rehani 25d is a very tall central defender, and one I really are looking forward to including in the squad next season. Popular Post JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 6 – 2027/28 Season Review Good news, we won a game! Feels like a like time since I could claim that, but still we managed to win a game. We also managed to secure survival with that single victory. We did manage to draw half of our games, which is the only reason we were able to stay up this season, outside of the fact that the bottom three teams were so poor this season. It was not ideal. Yet, despite how poor we have done this season, Genoa at one point offered me a job interview, so I guess we are good? I was also forced to announce I wasn't interested in the Norwich job either. We also signed a new 2-year contract to keep us at the club, despite our poor end of the season. Something I forgot to mention in an earlier post was the fact that the board sold Pitarma to Académico de Viseu on the January Transfer Deadline day. Also, our training and youth facilities got downgraded because of the technological advances, which is also not ideal. It's rather annoying actually. Still, despite all of this, we have managed to secure a place in the 2nd tier for the 5th season running, so hopefully, we can do better next season, and if you want to watch the video when I reviewed the year, feel free to do so using the link below. Almost no young player from the start is still in the squad. I mean look at this kid. He's talented and I like him but I started him in 11 matches and he's just not good (yet). He had a lot of starts because I wanted development but also I actually tried to manipulate my result and not get promoted. I admit he was probably the worst player to get any gametime for me but still! And I won some matches with like 3 shots from distance... I seriously don't get it. EDIT: Since it's unclear from the screenshot I played him as CD. Though I feel like making an "op" tactic was never easier. I have thrown together a few things over time and most tactics got really good results. And this is my best player. Apparently according to my coaches he is only a good 2. Makoto Nakamura
2039/40 End of Season Review 4th place, we had a great season and yet the team who got promoted with us ended up doing even better and topped the league! But they didn't get promoted due to finishing 2nd in the promotion playoff. The winner of our league joins a group with the winners of the Midland League & North Caledonian League, the winner of that group is then promoted to the Highland League. We also managed to win not one, but two cup competitions in the McLeman Cup and the North Regional Cup, we scored nine goals across the two finals and conceded zero! Bruce has also had the best season of a striker I've seen in a very long time, 40 goals in 43 appearances from someone with just four finishing & composure! WhiteCat33
@aldojags yes very much so. That early world cup win against Italy was a shock with so many real players active. I hope at the end there is some way to look at save files to see where youth ratings end up. With so much time as a top 5 nation the USA rating has to be a lot higher than where it starts the game. Also hope if I'm regarded that high as an American coach I keep getting promising American talents in my youth intake

Popular Post Flashman\'s School Days
Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season Review 2025 Manager Characteristics - Attributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1 - Fixtures 2 Campeonato Uruguayo - 5th Another good season in the books, finishing in the same place as last year with 1 more point. We had more wins and more losses, scored less but also conceded less. The main thing though is that we again qualify for the Copa Sudamericana, which wasn't something I had realised we had qualified for in my last season review because unlike in Europe it doesn't state qualifiers in the league table. Top four all get Copa Libertadores so we've just missed out on that two seasons running but also the four who get Copa Sudamericana all go in at the same round so it doesn't really matter where you finish 5th-8th. Our opening phase was stronger than the closing phase but it was the intermedio tournament where we did well and if we had won our last game in that against Danubio we would've made the final of that, although I'm still in the dark about what the point of that game is. Copa Sudamericana - Knocked out in Group Stage So we had our first crack at continental competition which as I said was a surprise to me but a nice one as it meant we got some much needed prize money just for appearing in the first round. All Uruguayan sides go into the only knockout round before the group stage and so our first taste of Copa Sudamericana was playing fellow Uruguayan side River Plate which was completely underwhelming. Luckily we managed to get through that round and onto the group stage where we managed a respectable showing in finishing in second place to a team who have Ever Banega playing for them. The prize money is purely for appearing in the round so nothing for wins/losses/group position so getting out the group is the only way to make more money but in the knockout round after the group stage is where teams from the Copa Libertadores drop down and that's the path Boca Juniors took in claiming the title. Squad No real change from last season, o nly a few youth players who weren't good enough left. Again club captain Mateo Charamoni was the best player in the team and was a big miss when he got injured for the last few games of the season. His central defensive partner Washington Malaquín 23a didn't have the most outstanding season but he is really improving, will now no longer talk to me about a new contract and is wanted by Burnley, Torino, Udinese, Rennes and Cagliari so may have to see what sort of deal I can get before losing him on a free. Christian Rodriguez on the left wing had a great season and weighed in with 16 assists. The man who I wanted to highlight is Federico Rivero 22e who managed 16 goals and 4 assists in his first season as a starter. Youth Intake Another Golden Generation but I was somewhat disappointed with the players that came through, Jesús Becerra 25f looks like one of the better prospects. Santiago Duarte 25a was the man singled out as the best prospect and he looks like he could turn out to be a good player. Finances The Copa Sudamericana prize money really gave us a healthy boost to our finances as we were £200k in debt before that came through. The boost allowed me to upgrade both my Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching twice, my Training Facilities once and currently doing a second Youth Facilities upgrade so this season has been a massive one for the foundation of the club. Hopefully with more of that prize money next season I will be able to continue improving those things. I also managed to get onto my Continental Pro License course.
RicoFoma
My attempts to somehow stay in the Bundesliga (which I believe I could manage considering how things have gone so far) I take a first blow on the 4th of July..
Popular Post DrJones
Recreativo de Huelva 2023/2024 Season review I had pretty high expectations before the season but I did not imagine this kind of dominance. Everything just went our way this year, I do not know how many times we had a draw or a loss coming our way in the last ten minutes but managed to somehow score an equalizer or a winning goal. Between october and january we had something like 15 wins and two draws which is mad considering the depth of our squad. Anyways, next season we are going up to la segunda and I think we for the first time will face real adversity, but I am confident that we will stay up. The teams at the top and the ones that has been relegated from la liga is of course way to good and will spank us to another dimension but some of the teams in the middle and bottom of the table is not much better than some of the teams we faced in the third tier. Squad Some of the youngsters got a fair amount of playing time, other than that it was the players from the original squad who led the troops. Youth Intake Really like the look of this guy, unfortunately we have got so much wingers and strikers already. Wow! Will play from start right away! Exactly what we needed, a central midfielder. Only downside is his personality but we will work on that. Vamos Recre!
Sanno11
Denbigh Town F.C - Season Summary 2030-2031 Squad | Finance | Transfers | Facilities JD Cymru Premier This season was our first as a professional club and I was pleased we took back second place. We again started slowly, with the European hangover seeming to happen again. I know I need to keep building squad depth the help mitigate that. Connah's Quay were again challenging us all the way and actually managed to beat TNS on two occasions. In the end, with 4th place so far behind it was a relaxed end to the season and form was solid. We had a slightly different approach this season and it resulted in a much more solid defensive performance, with a lot of those 26 goals coming from the four TNS fixtures. The last five seasons league positions below, so we almost halved the goals conceded from last season. The best thing about this season was to finally start seeing some players improving. This wasn't anything ground-breaking, but seeing those improvements got me motivated all over again. Below is our best prospect from a couple of seasons ago, who is going from strength to strength. Harvey Ruscoe (29a). With almost every player on a full time contract now, it is starting separate those who have a future from those that don't. Some club legends like Ryan P0well and Kai Hewitt (24b) are starting to lose their position in the squad to exciting 16-17 year olds and I think that shift may not be smooth, but in the long run we will be better off. Euro Cup II This was agonisingly close to the group stages, losing on penalties in the final qualifying round to Tobyl. We'd had a bit of luck to reach that far, but to win 2-1 away, I thought it was a certainty and was counting the money already. The Welsh league still has three entries into this competition, but we have risen high enough that we start in round two, which is a nice acknowledgment of the progress. It was fun having a massive win in the opening rounds though. Welsh Cup A great run to the final saw us face TNS again. This was the last game of the season and we had already finished runner up in the league and the other cup (Nathaniel MG). So I was determined to avoid defeat and give them a treble over us. The performance in the final was mixed, but we did enough to reach penalties and the Denbigh lads held their nerve. Youth Intake This is the fourth intake in a row that has been really solid. I really should pay my HOYD more money, he has a model professional personality, which is a rare find in Wales with such limited choice. We didn't need a striker necessarily, but then having one with 4 star current ability is different. I have very high hopes with this young lad and believe this will make a huge difference. I love Rossi Graham (24a), but he is least mobile striker I've ever used before and I honestly think we lose a lot of threat because of it. Lee Hughes (31a) Frank Tickle (31b) Jamie Iheanacho (31c) Club Overview This season began with us turning professional and I managed to get our training facilities upgraded again (1.7 million). This left us with very little in the bank, so I'll wait until next year to ask for anything else. I now have the Continental Pro licence as well. Im looking at this on my phone, without my glasses, so could be wrong, but if true that surprises me! @WhiteCat33aw that must have been hard to do! Great run for them so far in your save! Yup never been capped. To be fair, the Serbian NT striker looks amazing worth 100m+ Euros at Juventus in my save. Doesn't look like he is going to get a cap any time soon if you got players of that calibre in front of him. That goes for a lot of my squad. Red Star and Partizan still churn out wonderkids year-in and year-out.

Popular Post libbyshuss
2052/53 (season 31!) Premier League Season Summary League - We were top after 6 games! But then we lost 5 in a row and fell back to mid-table, where we stayed for the majority of the season. Just when I thought we had no hope we almost snatched a European spot by beating Spurs and Man City in 2 of our last 3 games but missed it by one point. Never mind though - this season was longer than normal due to our cup successes..... FA Cup - Out in the 5th round to Man Utd. They beat us 4-0 as well, dammit. Europa League - Our first excursion into Europe. I made the decision before the season started that I would use Europe to blood youngsters and keep squad players fit, keep the first team fit for the league. It worked ok really although it did mean we went out of the Europa League at the group stage and into the Europa Conference League instead Europa Conference League - now this was fun! The younger prospects really started to perform and we were briliant all the way throughout the conference league. The opponents weren't all main street chumps wither, there were some good teams in there. But the second XI did us proud! We got past the likes of Brighton and Bochum to make the final where we payer Fenerbahce. We were underdogs but played well..... We won the Europa Conference League! To be fair, I played the first team in the final, but most of the games were played by the seconds! Very pleased with our first piece of European silverware! Given me a taste for more! Players So, I got ineresting problems in the next season or two. The European success means there's much more competition for first team places, which can only be a good thing. The first Xi this season looked like this:- John McNamara 46B and Charlie Walker 44C are interesting ones. Even though they're 23 and 25 this is the first full season with us as they've been on loan for the last few seasons. I see why Chelsea loan so many players now - if one takes off somewhere good it can be like a new signing when they come back. Neither of these two are gonna set the world alight but previously I would have probable sold them both a couple of seasons back and lost out on 2 really good squad players Peter Foley's days are number. 19 from 35 isn't a bad record but....... Ollie Cleary 51A was the main beneficiary of the European adventure. He was brilliant and ended the season with 18 goals 25 starts. Without Europe he'd have spent the season with the U18s but now he looks like this:- He'll be first choice striker before too long, sorry Foley! Especially as when the best wonderkid list came in..... Johnston number 1 and Cleary number 12!!!! Youth Best youth set up in the world so I sort of expect these kind of previews now. Still nice to see a golden generation promised though But when the intake came in, it was a golden generation with no elite prospects! Another Slovak though, I am liking that affiliation. Shame my board won't let me create any more at the minute Determination level and personalities aren't bad. A few unambitious peeps there but I'm ok with unambitious, they could be a lot lot worse. The board finally let me set up a U23 team so I signed most who were 2 stars and above, just to flesh out those youth squads! plus, i'm kinda getting obsessed with loaning more peeps out than Chelsea Even better, I have at least 2 prospects who I think could be real stars. I'm going to look after them with kid gloves and try and resist the temptation to throw them in too soon. Carrick is from this years non-elite prospect intake who all of a sudden was valued at 7-8.8m, which is interesting..... Popular Post Koetzer
Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur – season 2035 No European playoffs this time, but we actually defeated the future Champions League winners! And our U19 team lost to Chelsea in the first knockout round. Three in a row, but this season was really hard. We defeated KA twice, but they were winning all other games almost until the end, before finally losing twice in a row in September and letting us break away to the title. And yes, Iceland now has two Champions League places! Cups – and that’s our first real double. Champions League qualifiers – harder than last season, but we reached the group stage once again. Though I’m starting to think that playing in Europa League could be better at this point, as money is not an issue anymore and we clearly can get more points from lower tier tournaments. Group stage – this opening draw against Barcelona was really unexpected, as I rested all our key players for the decisive league games but could even get a win, conceding an equalizer with 15 minutes to go. However, the really important games were against Anderlecht and we got 4 points from them, securing the Europa League spot. Youth League – another impressive season for our U19, hopefully they will do better in playoffs this time. Transfers – no major losses except Kristinsson, already mentioned last year. Squad stats – Þorsteinsson is still our best goalscorer with almost 300 goals during his career, but Guðmundsson provided a great backup and eventually set the highest average rating. Youth intake Hjaltested *35a | Vilhjálmsson *35b | Guðmundsson *35c | Guðnason *35d | Björnsson *35e | Arnarson *35f | Þórsson *35g Hjaltested seems to be the most promising player here, and considering the lack of quality on left wing, he may be not far from the first team already. The new stadium is opened, so we'll surely get a massive attendance increase next season and finally will be able to host European games at home. In other news, Iceland qualified to the next year's Euro, and that's quite worrying as several key players will be out for around a month (or some games will be postponed and our schedule becomes a total mess later).
Popular Post OlivierL
INTRO | S1 Africanos Bragança - Portugal - Season 2 (2023/2024) Review - 4th tier - Campeonato De Portugal Squad| Youth Intake 24 | Transfers | Finances| Fixtures 1 | Fixtures 2 Campeonato De Portugal : We finished 6th this season with more points compared to last season. In the relegation stage we won more and got 4 more points compared to last season. This means that we have had a limited progression but still have a long way to go to compete for the promotion stage. We could now often field 11 players with a bench full of grey players. But as soon as a player was suspended, I had to sacrifice real players. As a result, 7 players want to leave on free transfer, four are effectively out of contract and I will not be able to keep them. With Borges i'll lose a key player. Taça de Portugal: Lost in the second round . U19 : Our U19 won the Bragança league and are promoted to the second tier U19 . Key Players Pereira had a good season and is a homegrown DC. Barros is our best player but he won't sign a new deal. Academy graduate with most Appearances (This season) Semodo 22C had a good season with 12 goals. Miscellaneous No upgrades(bad Finances) but at the start of the second season i got a B squad. Won't use it at the moment but this will be good for the future. Aim for next season I also hope to fill a bench with academy players to get rid of those grey players for good. The quality is still poor and I will need a few more seasons to compete for promotion. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Canet Roussillon - Season 2025/26 - Ligue 2 Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances In the usually difficult 2nd season, we still managed to stay up. This time we ended 6 points more than the previous season, and a much better goal difference. So we are improving, and more and more youngsters are now part of the main squad. Younes Rehani 25d stepped right into the heart of the defence, and while he is still young and makes mistakes, he handled himself well and improved quite a lot this season. In midfield Victor Segura 23a had a solid, if unspectacular, season. Additionally, Malcolm Raynal 23b and Mickael Serrani 25b had some nice appearances for the club. Off the pitch, things are a bit strange. We had loads of money in the bank and we are making money. However, the board seem to think we are in financial trouble for whatever reason. And due to that they are rejecting all my requests for upgrades. Not sure why, but at some point, I expect them to have another look and realize we are in fact, in a very good financial state. Coupe de France: We beat Paris FC, Châteauroux, and GOAL before we lost to Lens in the 11th round. Youth intake: A pretty good intake with some talented players. Skander Yeken 26a is a very good deep playmaker. Looking forward to having him involved next season. Olivier Durand 26b can fill out down the left. I usually prefer more pace on my full backs though. Tasos Angelikousis 26c is a promising centre back, and those are always welcome here. We have a few good goalkeepers now, but Arnaud Delrue 26d could be a good addition for us. The7Striker
Staal Jørpeland IL 2023 Season Transfers Released Retired Finances Squad Promotion is always complicated, especially when key players like Pepa (retire) and Even have to be released, due to retire from professional football. Finances are in a good shape, with TV money and new sponsorships. Squad looks okay-ish. Let face it, we have a problem. Players are getting older and the new ones don't look promising. OBOS-LIGAEN Season Prev Games I Games II Past Positions A safe 8th place, it can not be better. 10 points from the relegation zone, i hope we can keep like this in the future. Luckily, April and May were our friends and with 6 wins, we had a quiet season. Norgesmesterskapet I Fotball In the cup we fulfill the minimum requests. We lost to an Eliteserien team. Key Players This guys nail it with solid performances. Youth Intake New year and a new youth intake arrives. Quality ? Ulrik and Vik are the best ones. Facilities So with a good boost in your finances the board allow me to upgrade both YC and YR, i really hope quality pop up otherwise...its not going to be easy. The board rented a stadium in Oslo but want to build a new one. We still own the 350 seated one so i hope finances don't be too affected. And thats it for the season !!
