Popular Post Daddy
2026/27 Season Review: As I expected would happen after the league split we went on a bit of a turn around. There was some improvement even before that happened. The scoring picked up a bit, but we were still underperforming our xG by a good margin. Nothing major here just trying to cash in before contracts expired. Some I couldn't get anything for and just let expire. 2027 Youth Intake: Another very deep intake with a few players ready to move to first team. Issues: My three best players. Two are my starting CBs and their contracts expire. The first one pulled this before but when he became happy to stay he would never sign a new contract and then shortly asked to leave again. I have to cash in on him. I'll see if I can get the elevated values promised to sell for the other one, and see how things are closer to January to see if I gamble on him signing a new contract or if he winds up leaving for free. 2027/28 Season Preview: **Edited - I managed to delete the pics in Imgur** Well, I still think I'll avoid relegation. Potentially losing some of my best players hurts, but the first few batches of intake players are now 18-20 and a bit more ready for first team action, or loans. Hopefully there's a lot more development and can wind up with a better finish than expecting. Edited May 4, 2022 by Daddy
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Astros de Colombia - Season 2028 - Liga MCB 1st Division Squad | Transfers | Finances We retained the league and this time we went through without any losses. Only 3 draws as well. In the CONCACAF Champions League we are still a bit off the rest of the teams. We drew Alajuelense of Costa Rica, Tigres of Mexico, and Ciabo of the Dominican Republic. In most matches we held our own and both losses to Alajuelense and Ciabo was close calls, and I'm very proud of getting a draw away at Estadio Universitario de Nuevo León in Mexico, even if Tigres had already won the group at that point. In the CFU Club Championship we continued our good run last year and won our group ahead of ASC Le Geldar of French Guiana, Flamingo of Bonaire, and ASU Grand Santi of French Guiana. Then we beat Jabloteh of Trinidad and Tobago and Cibao of the Dominican Republic (payback for the CL!) to reach the final for the 2nd year running. There we turned the luck from last year as we actually won on pens this time in a close battle with Cavalier of Jamaica. Very nice to get this trophy in the bag! Youth intake: We keep getting strong and stronger intakes, and I love it! One clear standout player this time. This kid is just leaps and bounds better than anything I have at the club, and is from the moment of the intake the best player at the club. Dazzling skills for this level! Captain Blackadder
I didn't know this thread existed and it's awesome seeing other people doing so well with these types of saves. I'm currently doing an academy save at Colchester United and right now i'm 2/3 of the way through the second season. First season my squad was roughly 75% academy players with some key senior players as well and finished 1 point and 1 place outside the play offs. This season though the entire squad are from the academy and not doing as well spending most of the season languishing mid table. The youth intake from the first season was pretty decent with these two being the best of the bunch.

The player with most games, goals and assists and the better player of the team by far was leaving us, and he will be missed. The season in Serie A has had a lot of highs and lows, and we will be missing Copa Libertadores next season to play in Copa Sudamericana. Bragantino won the league in a fantastic season for them, you will see.. glennuk
Worthing - Season 3 - Youth Intake Preview It's that time of year again. Youth Intake Preview. With our Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching upgrades at the end of Season 2, I was hoping for another positive intake preview. We really need some strong CBs but CM/DM is probably the other area where we are weakest, so hoping that we really do have a strong DM and a 'top prospect' in the middle. On a side note I got a load of job interview offers in December, most impressive of which was from Swansea. Even though my form is the weakest since I have taken over, currently sitting in 15th with half the season gone.

I figure first I'll start getting MLS interest if my players get really good as they will scout the NACL and see my players there. Bermuda makes sense as their in the 'oversees territory act' countries, so they don't require work permits in England. I'm both lucky I don't have European interest, but also that takes away a potential revenue path as Trinidad tends to try and steal players for free rather than pay. Bermuda could be an interesting build a nation challenge getting your academy players into English clubs to develop a national team. I did also get a bite from Jamaica for this guy who was fighting to resign as he thought he was too good for us and then their transfer spam unsettled. Didn't want to send him to Cavalier though who we've lost 2 CCC Finals to and make them any better so he'll be our first to Trinidad. Painful selling a player for this little, but at least I delayed it till after their window closed so i get him for the fall. not a half bad winger for this level
Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 3 - Youth Intake Yet another Golden Generation. Happy with this one, although again not the most ideal positions for the strongest talents in this group. This Golden Generation seems to have quite a lot of potential but almost all come from the British Isles (one Australian thrown in for good measure). Top 3 - Youth Intake 3 Again I rank my youth players based on my belief as to how they will turn out. Gary Brough (YP03A) - 2.5* CA Winger or Striker with a Fairly Professional personality is great. Unfortunately he comes in as my 3rd choice at Striker (behind Jamie Herd (YP01A) and Ollie Pearce) and my 2nd or 3rd choice winger (behind Tyler Warren (YP01C) and Tom Redman (YP02C)). Although to be fair his stats at 16 look just about as good as Warren and better than Redman. Definitely getting stacked in certain positions (AMR and ST especially). Kady Snowden (YP03B) - I really love most everything about Snowden. Plays short simple passes in the middle (hopefully meaning losing the ball less), has great physicals for a Youth Player and even decent mentals. I am not sure where Realist ranks on the personality wish list, but at least it is not one of the 'bad' personalities. Could definitely get a few sub appearances in towards the end of the season as we are still not performing as well as we have in the past, which means more rotation for my Youth. Jack Pritchard (YP03C) - I like the versatility but will probably convert Pritchard to a CB as that is where we are currently weakest. I think he needs quite a bit of development before we can put him in for many games, but hoping with some sub appearances and training he will improve those physicals and become a starter within the next year or two. Popular Post Daddy
2027/28 Midseason Review: Another adjust to the tactics that I started at the end of last season was made to be more defensively aggressive. Higher lines, tighter marking etc. While we were always lower mid, our real undoing has been not scoring goals. With the tighter defense we've moved to the upper mid for fewest goals allowed, and we've been converting more of our chances. Our goals scored is now within three of our xG (compared to half the last two seasons). Our striker and winger have taken a big step forward. Unfortunately the winger is one of the players wanting to leave (he still has another year). The two starting CBs still want to leave and no team has offered anything for them. At this point I'm assuming they walk at the end of the season. As for the rest of the season, we've been very consistent the whole first half, so I'm expecting to stay in the champions group when the split happens. Youth Intake Preview: CB has been a strength, but with it looking like we lose one or both getting more here is a big help.
Bohaska
Just started this challenge in China! There were two teams that got promoted, one very young and one very old. I decided to go with the young one. The name of the paper is... interesting. I don't expect them to stay up. There are 3 staff here, me, a scout and a physio. Predictably, I've made a lot of advertisements for more. Also, why is the stadium called "Textile City"? Edited May 4, 2022 by Bohaska
BustaRaymes
*FM20* Few more seasons gone. I'll keep it short on the uneventful ones. The ball started rolling though, will update on that later! Littlehampton Town 2034-2035 We made a switch in tactics which seems to work for us. We have talented players, but a lot of them are slow. So the pitch has a minimal size and I actually played a WTM :') Most players got their own instructions, tailor made to their abilities and fitting the rest. Rose playes narrow when in posession, Simpson plays short passing but crosses whenever he can, and Hughes has a free role with shoot more often. Squad Rose came through as a DM, but his attributes made me turn him into a right back. Hughes was great in his free role from the right, Molloy had a very promising first season. Youth intake Holland and Dodd look promising! Transfers
BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2035-2036 Southern League Premier Division South Squad Molloy keeps on developing Youth intake Although he's not the highest rated, Mbiyavanga-Domo is singled out as the top prospect.
BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2036-2037 Southern League Premier Division South It looks great, but I actually scraped past a sacking after 1/3rd of the season: Switched to a tried and tested 4-4-2 and it saved us. Molloy goes on and on! Transfers I let Simpson go as he just wasn't a good fit for us on any position. Youth intake A potential great player in Boateng!
BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2037-2038 Southern League Premier Division South A long promotion run but we couldn't do it. Bookies placed us around this spot and the board wanted us to go up, so next season promotion will be a must. Transfers We lost our golden boy Boateng, regular starter Travers and dribbler Hughes. Hughes left a gap on the right side. Broad filled in pretty decently, but I'd like someone more talented coming through there in the next few years. We're also short on quality MCs but the current options are at least hard-working and decently rounded. I partnered Molloy with the pacy Russell-Marshall and it worked wonders. Youth intake Martin and Berthelsen look like good instant additions. I like Ray (I have to, it's my first name) and Kurt as well. Wrapping up the next season atm, will update on that later. Stuff is happening!
Popular Post XaW
I'm enjoying the Caribbean, but the level of football is just.... poor. I need to switch in a better league, so I'm running a save in Spain at the same time. So here we go. I've taken over Marbella FC, because who doesn't want to stay in Marbella? And for some reason the club is rated as one of the best in the league! So the pressure is on!
Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2038-2039 Southern League Premier Division South We're into the National Leagues! Have been top all season, only dropped form in the end but we were never in danger of losing the lead. Bookmakers put us at the top as well, so this had to happen. Squad Mbiyavanga-Domo was not the best rated youngster when he came through, but impressed out on loan last season and got a chance as a starter. My god, did he deliver. He was on fire all season, scored 37 league goals in the first 22 games. Same goes for Ganness. He didn't catch my eye as a top player, but developed really well. Fullbacks Rose and Davey played big roles going forward and Molloy developed into a player well above our current level. Transfers Loans everywhere Youth intake Intakes are below the level I've been hoping for. But the initial PA stars have been off for a while now, so we'll just keep on going. White-Shaughnessy seems the pick of the players this year, but I also like Aripin. Onto the VNS. I can imagine doing well after being pretty much overpowered in the Southern Prem, but I have no idea how we are rated against the others. Bookies see us finish top half so if I can hold on to Molloy and Mbiyavanga-Domo we could potentially even aim higher.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
Toni Store Jugglers FC - St Vincent & The Grenadines Season 8 2029/2030 SVG Club Championship Season Review: https://imgur.com/a/1bPYJ11 Performance League Champion Cup Champion North America Champions League Group Stage: 2nd Place [Teams] [Match Reports] We almost took advantage of our easy draw and advanced! It all comes down to my error of not subbing off M. McDowall 06b at half time against Miami. He was on a yellow, and had a poor 6.4 rating but I gave him a chance to turn it around in the second half and the 17 year old got a second yellow early. That turned a 2-2 draw into a 2-5 brutal defeat, which sealed our fate of going down. The big progress is we smoked our bogey team of Cavalier from Jamaica who have beaten us in both of the CCC Finals we have played in. Our defense worked amazing except for the glaring exception. Even though this is progress I really hope we get a harder group next year to make more $$$. Match Reports tell the tourney story. Caribbean Club Championships Third Place Group Stage - [Teams] [Match Reports] Absolute Carnage we got a very easy group and showed why we are able to challenge in NACL now. Knockouts - [Teams] [Match Reports] Ugh, we just couldn't do it in Jamaica yet again. At least its a different team this time? On the plus side we finally got to directly pay Pantoja back for the tie-breaker stealing during our first outing in the CCC. Only positive here is being 3rd means we have a higher probability of drawing into a group with 2 MLS teams so hopefully we can make more money next year in the NACL. Story in Reports. Squad (End of Season pre-CCC Knockouts) I figured it was time to show actual screenshots of my Best XI players I've been using. The Assistants Best XI includes a lot of 08 intake players, who I haven't worked in yet so expect many faces to change in the next couple seasons. EDIT: Updated the Rest of the XI GK: W Hendrickson 03k Defense: (RB) K Hickman 03g [VC] ; (CB-R) D Durham 03e ; (CB-L) C McLean 05d ; (LB) R Osment 07a Midfield: (CM-R) C Stewart 04b (C) ; (CM-L) D Ollivierre 03a Attacking Midfield: (AM-R) E. Williams 05a ; (CAM) A John 07c ; (AM-L) M McDowall 06b Striker: J John 03d EDIT: Wanted to take a moment and talk about Ajure John's 07c debut season. This tiny (5'3") assist machine set up 27 goals and scored 10 himself across all competitions with about half of that coming from Continental outings. Almost all of those goals are from direct free kicks, though one or two may have been from the field of play. He played so well he averaged an 8.03 rating across all competitions, and became an ICON after just playing 1 full season with us! Sadly he has low potential and isn't developing well, so he doesn't have the runway to become a long term legend, but this is an absolute dream season for a 16 year old. Transfer Last of my 02 intake has left on a free. He's pretty far down on our depth chart, and looks to be #2 over at Hope now. First step of improving the league with my academy players. And I posted this already, but the first loss of the TT Pro transfer-spam is the man who cost us the NACL Group. Given time, I think he could have become deadly on the left, but hopefully he does well enough in Trinidad that someone will actually buy him for money. Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview - WOW! This has to be too good to be true... Youth Intake - good enough, but not the miracle generation that was promised. Really it’s a good thing I have mentor groups available now as they all need it. 4 Unambitious a Balanced and Low determination for my top 6 prospects. Yi Squad Players Best of the bunch clearly is the GK prospect, who will be mentored by our current GK and eventually will become the #1. Not a fan of the punching, but 16 rushing out is awesome with good reflexes, decisions, handling and he’s 6’4”! Really only ‘bad’ stat is Communication but we can focus train that with positioning. Can’t ask for much more. Here’s a comparison with my current GK to show he's really not even a bad choice now. (And my GK starts for the National Team already). Then we have my CAM prospect, who is a better finisher and quicker than my two current CAMs but lacks the FK ability. Might actually consider making him our backup Striker as he’d be by far the fastest player in that position (which I prefer over good finishing) and with strong long shots, he wouldn't be dreadful in a pinch. Could become a decent short BPD center back. Really dislike how he’s not quicker and has ‘plays way out of trouble’ St Vincent National Update The National Team is the vast majority our players. For the most recent squad (Oct. 2030) we had 13 called up to the Main squad and 10 called up to the U20 team for friendlies against Curacao. First U20 is just finishing up a round of friendlies and they were drawn for the North American U20 Championship 2030. We got an awful draw being in the group with Mexico's U20, so we have zero chance of advancing. However, they have done well in friendlies. Will provide an update on how the U20 Championship goes after this next season as we will have 11 of our youngsters there getting good international competitive experience. U20 Championship Group: Then we have the Main Squad, who just got dominated in their friendly: As you can see the majority of our team is getting game time, with this being how they lined up With our academy increasing the country's talent they have made modest improvements rising from 165-170 range up to their highest ever 155 rank now. I know that's not big steps, but with our players making up half or more of the team and them being all U-21 I've got hope that soon enough we will be putting up a challenge against stronger Caribbean nations. Excel & Thoughts EDIT: Excel Link. This season was a very much 'close but not quite' affair in the two real competitions. Unfortunately, with the easier NACL group & maxing Youth Coaching we didn't make enough money for the next upgrade so we will be losing 1/3 of our profit to taxes and will carry the balance into next year. At least we have another very promising group of talent so the squad will be getting better. While we are a long way off from NACL advancement we really should start winning the CCC. We are finally getting competitive with the Jamaican sides, just need the FM Gods to smile on us one of these times. Popular Post libbyshuss
Argentina Division 2 2027 (season 6) Season Summary Another of those seasons that look like we're stagnating but really with a lot of improvements under the bonnet. We're getting better, slowly. The problem with this team is how young they are - they lose one, they lose 3 or 4. But at the same time we're easily capable of going 6 or 7 unbeaten too. The end result is again us hanging around in mid-table, albeit with more points than we've ever had before Players So our youngest ever side, with nearly all of them teenageers, which was by far the best thing about this season. Even better, most of them are described as potentially premier league level which fill me with a lot of hope for the next season or two Best breakthrough was Ignacio Arce 25G up front. I don't even remember signing him and checking back when the youth intake came in he was only a 2.5 star prospect. I can only think I signed him to make up the numbers. But he did really well in the U20s, his potential started increasing, I gave him a start or two in the first team and he did really well. So I gave him more starts and he continued to do well until now he's potential premier league standard. I love it when things like that happen! Youth Another youth recruitment upgrade and another youth preview that looked very nice Love all those As!! So when the intake came in I was very excited Four elite talents will do me and the top talents are still better starting potential than Arce 25G, so you never know. I hope Dario Centurion makes it cos that's such an awesome name. Finances and Uprgrades So the board allowed me to max out our youth intake setting thing, which is pretty good i'm looking forward to next seasons intake now! I just need the board to agree to other improvments now, but that would require us to actually make some money Career

glennuk
@OlivierL - Congrats. Class achievement and what a team to do it with. Inspiring stuff. Hopefully you can get Cape Verde to the upper Echelons of football too.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 3 - A little bit of good fortune, A Lotta bit of money! Randomly noticed we had a transfer clause that we could cash in on. I looked and had to do a double take!! I also had a brief moment of do I take it, or do I risk that the 20% could increase to double what it is if Stevens is sold for his value. I took the cash and straight away I asked to turn Professional (not sure when is best to do this in general so any wisdom would be appreciated) and when that was rejected I asked for an upgrade in training facilities. I was a bit surprised that the cost was so much but know we need to improve facilities at almost any cost to continue the improvement and progress of the club.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 3 - End of Year Review - Vanarama National League South League - 10th We bedded in more of the youngsters and at one point I was worried for my job as we were in 21st. The second half of the season we came back strong and made a real push to get further up in the standings. The Squad As mentioned previously, I was more determined than ever to start really giving our Youth Players some game time. Tyler Warren (YP01C) was superb on the right wing and is looking like he will be a key player moving forward for us. Simon Korhonen (YP02H) was solid, but has not wowed me. He still only has 3.5* potential and although he is playing a lot of games it is more out of necessity than outstanding performances. I am hoping to bed in Herd (YP01A), as the sole striker, more next season along with Osborne (YP03A), as our LB. We still play the same formation, although tactics have changed slightly. Half way through the season, when we were down in 21st, I added Work the Ball into the Box, as I felt like we were having a lot of shots but mostly outside the area. I have also gone from direct to mixed passing, as I feel we have the attributes to play that system more and don't want to give possession away as often as I did at the start of the season. Finances & Facilities Even with the 750k spent on training facilities we were pretty comfortable financially. The new sponsorship details this season should also help long term. At the end of the season two big things happened. Firstly our Youth Recruitment was already Good but got upgraded to Excellent. This is huge news and I hope to continue to get good intakes that can be used to help push us up the leagues. Have I mentioned I LOVE my board <3 Secondly, for most of the season Jasper Pattenden, our best player stat wise, has said he wants to move on from Worthing. However he seemed to change his mind in May, and I was quick to sign him up to a new deal for 2 years. I tried to add in optional contract extensions and so on, but he was getting frustrated with negotiations and I really didn't want to risk losing him. The Future I was hoping to build upon our previous success and get into the playoffs and get promoted this season. However it just wasn't to be. I think part of that was down to my Youth Players getting used to playing more often and also some regression from my legacy players. However I feel that now with the bedding in process started I can really push on next year. The expectation has to be pushing for playoffs (even though the board and players are happy with mid table).
