Popular Post Ray46
Update 9; Season 8; 2030/2031 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. A bit sad that a few legacy players had to leave, Ouchouia has been a crowd favourite. How lucky have I been with them that they could be effective all the way up to La Liga: Also Morer has retired, our star player in the early seasons: What a great player has he been for us, Pau Morer we salute you: Team of the year every season: Our other legend Tito had a testimonial match in what will be his last season. Of course we played Barcelona: I had a landmark to celebrate myself: Our kids are doing well: Another 3 players in the NXGen list: Also another strong looking intake: 7 elites were signed: Best of the bunch; Retrained as a Shadow striker. 18 Finishing already. Complete Wingback? A Deep Lying Playmaker Another winger in our impressive collection A DC who will be a great threat at set pieces. 16 heading already. A GK, it will take a while before we know how good he is. Most important attributes are close to double digits. Too small for a CB, but perhaps a good Full Back, for left and right side. U19’s won their group again. We have played our last game in the old stadium: End of season review: We didn’t sign anyone, duh… We had an excellent start winning the first four games. Then we got some stronger teams and we were between 6th and 10th all season. In the first few weeks after the winter break we were strong as usual. The cup matches and euro knockout stages make the opposing managers play a lot of unfit players and we rotate the squad every game. We conceded 56 goals and scored 79. Last season we conceded 44 against just the top 5 teams. So we will play in Europe for the first time. We had a relatively easy draw in the Copa del Rey and got to the final: We lost the final to Real Madrid who are in god mode this save, we didn’t even get a shot on target: 10 League wins in a row, Ancelotti is leading the Hall of Fame. We have played Real 6 times and we haven’t even scored a goal. Real dropped points in just 6 games this season. I think I have a very strong squad, which is developing well. But if I’m ever gonna win this league, Ancelotti will have to retire, LOL. We didn’t score as much as we could have, but we also should have conceded a few more. We probably ended up where we should be. Commercially we are still doing better: Our best eleven: Both our GK are developing and it really helped with keeping us in games, we play a high risk high reward game and it really suits Alonso. The star of the season was Eric Arumi, who looks to be our first Spanish international player. I had some questions about it at press conferences. 22 goals, player of the season: Another year of growth in supporters, over 100k social media followers and 12000 fans on the season ticket waiting list: Expectations are the same, fine with that. Our best players: Arumi, developing into a great all round striker. He is still 19 so hopefully he’ll develop further. His CA and PA stars are highest on the team, so the staff don’t know his ceiling yet. He was 2nd on the Nx Gen list. Marcal, a creative winger. 3rd on the NxGen list: Most assists this season. Wanted by Villareal, but has signed a new contract with 100M+ release clause. Ferreyra: Our third player in the NxGen list. Not so impressive with average rating and attributes yet, but I don’t think fullback and wing backs ever are unless they take set pieces. He still can grow quite a lot. Antoni: Our Ball Playing defender from the 28 class. Helped tremendously with build up play, but gets bullied by tall strikers so his ratings are a bit underwhelming. A great player when we dominate the game, but needs some work if we are under pressure. Agboola was on last years NxGen list. He keeps developing like there is no tomorrow. I see him as Sant Andreu’s N’Golo Kante: Aureli is our most impressive player attribute wise: He is a complete wingback, but his ratings are a bit underwhelming as well. According to the staff there is still at least half a star of development coming up. Aureli was also from the 28 class, so we can really speak of a golden generation. Alonso (also 28 class) had a fine season. Although I have two GK with more potential according to the staff, he really has the right attributes at the right place: The future looks bright, but it will take a while before we can take on Real and of course Barcelona. We have 50 million in the bank, all good players are on new contracts with ridiculous release fees. We are also moving into a new stadium next season. The board hasn’t allowed me to further improve training facilities and the youth facilities improvement has disappeared. Unfortunately my safe also has this bug. I’m not too worried about it, because we have plenty of good developing players to do well in the league and in Europe.

Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary Decided to keep the words in this report a little more succinct, mainly so I can get stuck into next season! We had a slightly better outing in the league and flirted with the top four for two thirds of the season but fell away badly towards the end. That was partly due to me blooding more youngsters and partly because I was resting players for the cup, which we won! We had a favourable run, avoiding all the top teams until the final and managing to win against the odds. This will put us into the Europa League qualifiers and hopefully give us the financial boost to take our facilities to the next level. We did lose a player this season, our chairman deciding 300k was far too much to turn down for U19s international Gyepes 03-Elite. Luckily we are well stacked in that position and he was only second choice so it shouldn't affect us too badly but I'll be interesting to see how much he improves. Our goalscoring woes from last season were alleviated by the emergence of Toth 04-Elite, who has jumped above both other youth strikers and netted an impressive 18 goals in 32 starts. Our youth intake this season was disappointing with a mix of poor personalities and higher rated players coming through in areas of the pitch we are already strong. We do have 6 age group internationals now but I think it will be a long while before a player makes it into the full national side. Finished 2nd last year by fewer points. I am happy with third place, this ensures qualification europa league playoffs, if we win we will be playing EL group stage, if we lose ECL group stage. Europe: We beated Aris in the second QF champions league but lost against rangers in the third QF. This means we could play the Europa League group phase. We beated Anderlecht, Viking and Qarabag and finished 17th in the group. In the knockout phase we played against our rivals from Zagreb.. Dinamo and we won 6 2 on aggregate . In the round of 16 Valencia was too strong. Supersport Hrvatski Kup: We reached the quarter final but could not beat Hajduk U19: Our U19 finished 6th in the Hrvatska Juniorska Liga. Popular Post ludak
My god, what a run! We got really lucky in the playoffs, as we entered the final stage with 9 points down to Cukaricki and 6 to Vojvodina, but they were terrible, and I've had a 6-0-1 score, and that was it. The cup was super fun, with a crazy game against Partizan, and a hard final vs Red Star. This was our debut in the CL, and we got more than we hoped for. I was sure that Dinamo was the only team we could play against, but as it turned out we were a good team at home. Barcelona was just unreal. Mitrović Milošević Đorđević Nzigamasabo Well, I don't know really, all of them look like they could be good, but then again they may turn out just bad, Spoiler Those are our top players, as you can see they are all concerned that we lack depth at center back, and they are right. That's all for this one boys, see you at the end of next one!
BigJack
FC United Season 15 - 2037/38 Season Preview Preview Predicted Finish = 11th Competitions Overview League One - 1st League Table FA Cup - Knocked out in the first round by Fleetwood. Carabao Cup - Knocked out in the third round by Fulham. PJ Trophy - Knocked out in the third round by Man Utd u21's. After last seasons Play Off Final heartbreak, we went into this season knowing we could compete at the top end of the table. We started the season well and just kept ticking along. With 8 games to play we sat top on GD with 2 sides level on 69 points. In the end we done enough and sealed the title by 3 points. Playing Squad Squad Transfers Best 11 We lost Walsh 29l in the summer for a very tidy £6m and also moved Jarman 32a on mid season for a pittance. This side of the game baffles me as he was so hell bent on leaving he signed for Woking who are a few divisions below us. We managed to keep hold of everyone else and with Championship football next season, I am hopeful we wont have to lose anyone this summer. No one really worth showing but here's the best player. Sweeney 38a I asked the board to upgrade our Youth Level which they have agreed to. This will move us to a category 2 youth system. Finances and Facilities Finances Facilities We now have good youth and training facilities to go alongside exceptional junior coaching and youth recruitment network. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary This season was probably the most dramatic so far, unfortunately for mostly the wrong reasons. We were poor in the league all season, losing our first league game 7-0 and limping into the winter break half way up the table. After Christmas our form fell off a cliff going 12 league games without a win, sending us into the final league game game 11th and 2 points from safety. Luckily is was against whipping boys Ivancsa and we thumped them 4-1 to stay up on games won (used before goal difference in Hungary). Oddly that last win felt as good as any in this save so far and definitely reignited the fire to continue despite our gradual decline in the last few league seasons. Europe however was a different story. We dispatched Olympiakos, Gorica and PAOK with relative ease to march into the Europa League group stage, where we continued our ridiculous form beating HJK 6-0. (3 days after losing 7-0 in the league!) We managed to get to the knockouts by beating Salzburg 10-7 on aggregate in a ridiculous tie, all whilst losing heavily week in week out in the league. Arsenal eventually knocked us out on their way to the cup, beating Roma 7-1 in the final. This season has shown me that although we have some decent players that level of player is wafer thin and the 18 games in Europe left constantly fatigued and unable to compete domestically. It didn't help that the top 3 are trying to sign half of my squad and at least 5 of my starting 11 have been unsettled throughout the season. I'm hoping with no European football next season we can get back to basics and improve our league performance. If it gets worse again, we're going down! Murai and Toth struck up a fine partnership up front with 54 goals between them in all competitions, though the former's physical stats are in decline and it was probably his last season as a regular starter. Our problems were at the back where we shipped an incredible 115 goals, including 40 in our European campaign. A Qatari team decided that a 34 year old Lekai was exactly what they needed and although I refused to sell him it unsettled him throughout the season. Coupling this with our fitness problems at the back we regularly conceded 3s and 4s with the odd 6 and one 7 thrown in. Lekai did calm down at the end of the season and signed on for another 2 seasons. The youth intake was okay but another keeper isn't really what I need with Hungarian U21 Illes waiting in the wings when Lekai does hang up his gloves. Our U19s still don't play again competitive games which is really hamstringing player development and now ultimately the whole save. I am going to play on for now though because I'm loving Hungary and I'm not ready to admit defeat just yet! Screenshots
Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 8 - Winter Break The new season has started, but we found ourselves losing in the Superpuchar Polski final for the first time ever to Pogoń Szczecin who won the cup and finished 2nd last season. I was hoping that this wouldn't be an issue for us. However, despite our questionable form in the league, we managed to beat Celtic home and away in the Champions League playoff, meaning that we would be in the League Phase for the very first time. Our opponents were going to be hard though. With the likes of Man City, Barcelona, Benfica, Arsenal and Atlético de Madrid expected to be games we'd lose. Still, we'll try our best to progress and do well. We did after all, make £12.75M for making the league phase of the Champions League. Still, perhaps it's the Champions League causing us problems or the scheduling being a nightmare for us this season, this has not been a good season for us compared to the last two seasons. Still, we've managed to shock Benfica in the Champions League and pick up another 4 points with a draw at Groningen and a win against Kristansund. The month of October was a horrible month though. Pogoń Szczecin knocking us out of the Puchar Polski was not ideal either. Still, as things stand we currently sit in 7th place. Given that after 7 matches we had just 6 points and were at one point in the relegation zone, I'll take that. The Champions League sees us in 25th place with holders Arsenal and Atlético de Madrid still to play. We could shock a lot of people if we managed to secure a top 24 spot, but I don't see that happening somehow. We managed to improve our facilities so they are now considered good enough to be Superb now, which means that we are currently just 1 upgrade away from getting State of the Art training facilities. Which is what we are currently working on, so this season will see us having State of the Art training facilities for the very first time. We've also managed to get a partnership with a former Champions League winning side in the form of Steaua București, as we start to expand our affiliate link reach for the very first time as the manager of Motor Lublin. The plan is to tinker this affiliate deal so I can make it where we get sent youth prospects from their academy in our future intakes, but that'll be something for the future. Speaking of our youth intake, things look promising once again. We're expected to get 8 players of high potential, so hopefully, this actually lives up to its billing and isn't just going to lie to me once again. That would be a shame if it did. Popular Post Sn00gle
Kotwica Kołobrzeg - 2031/32 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers Nice season with double Semi-finals in Cups and 4th place in league. Legia is out of place for now and they are going strong. Polish Ekstraklasa got 14th place and I think after this season (Legia went out of Champions League group and we got 3 Polish teams in UECL and 2 in Semi-finals) so we will go into 10th place. Speaking of, we got shaky run with would say easier teams than last year. Anyway Finish Ilves almost knocked out us with some grey players, then we got into group stage where we won only with Neftci and got rekt by Valencia (which probably will win the competition). I didn't think 1 win and 3 ties will let us the promotion but we went out. Next we meet with St. Mirren and old friend CSKA Sofia. In quarter-finals we lost first match vs Utrecht and when I was thinking about leaving and trying to save Polish Cup. We got 2 fast goals which pushed us to extra time where we got goal in the end of second half-time. Utrecht went all-in and after fast counter we got 4th goal which closed the match. Semi-Final was big for us as we avoided Valencia... poor Lechia We went against Antwerp and after that the chaos started. In first match we went 2-2 and then match ended for us in 60 min where Smolarczyk 06a gave Belgians penalty in first half and in second half got red card, however we holded till end. In second game we lost 2 goals in first 11 minutes, but we strike back with fast 2 in 31'. Then our second young striker like hes friend from first match Pytel 07a was sent out and we couldn't back to game. Anyway that was good run. In Polish Cup we lost in semi-finals with Lechia where their French star scored in extra time. Still no trophy this year! Cool intake with potential top start Ostrowski and Stukonis. Im not sure if Ostrowski would be better to set as Secundo or Striker but I have to chose one. Cyfert looks as well as decent GK but unfortunately no good presonality. We got another foreign player this time from Sweden maybe he came from my affiliated club.. Intake Prieview Spoiler Intake Report Spoiler

officiallydeej
I've decided to park my Budaorsi save for the moment. I did finish the next season in an improve 6th position but all of my year 3 intake players which make up the bulk of my team are coming to the end of their 3+3 contracts and are all refusing to sign as they have done for the last 3 seasons. I don't have the depth to come back from losing that many players after having to play so long without any sort of competitive youth football meaning anyone outside my first 11 are generally underdeveloped for their age. I might come back to it at some point but right now I'm going to try something new. I'm currently holidaying and reloading to try and get a particular team to appear, 2 hours in and no luck yet but I'm not giving up hope!

Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary League - Well, it was the season I was expecting last year with all those youth players! we were playing well but just kept losing - Christmas time saw us 18th with 3 wins out of 17 and in a real relegation scrap. Then something clicked and we started getting the results our performances deserved and started climbing the table. Too late to get back into Europe though! Europe - which is a shame cos it's fun! here's our adventure in the European Conference League this year We were knackered and down to the bare bones for the Celta Vigo second leg. We'd battered them at home as well, should have won it 4 or 5 nil. but what can you do? Cup - finally! a decemet run! all the way to the semi-final where we lost to Brescia. we shoulda won that! Players Lorenzo Lippi 42K is still the star player. 42 goals in 48 games this season, now 23 and reaching the peak of his powers. Tarek Ramadan 45A scored 80 in 27 starts for the youth teams so I really wanted to get him some game time this season. I used him sparingly at first but then found the more I used him, the better we played and the more we'd win. So he started every game after christmas up until the end of February when he broke his leg. Really upsetting as he was just hitting his stride and looking like a potential superstar. He should be fit in time for the start of the new season so we'll see what he can do in a full season! 16 goals and 6 assissts from 25 appearances, mostly as an inverted right winger. He looks good! Luca Mengoli 44B - could he be my first proper wonderkid? signs are looking good! Youth Another golden generation! and some really good personalities this time too! woohoo! The top prospect is Pignatelli - and he looks really, really promising!!!! Wonderkids Still no proper ones but the NXGN top 50 is nice to see again Numbers 1 and 3!!! Ramadan came through my affilliate club in france as well - i love affiliate clubs! Career it's a bit of a slog in Italy - there's so many top clubs to steal the best youths from you. might take a while to get there, and probably maxxed out youth facilities. I didn't complete it with Whitby until we had the best youth facilities in the world so....

Popular Post officiallydeej
Africanos Braganca - Campeonato de Portugal Prio A Finally! After 3 hours of holidaying and being ready to accept my second choice of a team from the Azores I managed to get Africanos Braganca (AEAB) promoted. I know they were used fairly widely as part of this and other challenges last year but the draw of a team that produces Cape Verdean regens was too much for me. They were in the same 5th tier group as Mirandela who due to their higher reputation got promoted on 92 of the 96 reloads I did, with only one other team appearing before I managed to get AEAB. The first couple of seasons will no doubt be tough as my understanding is that youth intake players don't immediately qualify as homegrown so cannot be registered for at least a season. The players I start with also aren't all homegrown but I'm hoping I can get around some of that by leaving spaces on the bench as we only have 14 players, 3 of which are goalkeepers. The immediate tasks are to move all my amateur players onto part time contracts to avoid poaching and survive the first season. For those who haven't managed there before the Portuguese 4th tier has four groups of fourteen, though five teams are relegated from each group meaning we need to finish 9th or above which looks a tough ask. Really looking forward to this one, can't wait to get through the first couple of seasons and start seeing the academy players involved. As with my previous save in Hungary, although I won't be managing them of course I will be keeping an eye on the Cape Verde national team hoping that our intakes can help them qualify for the World Cup and maybe win the African Nations Cup.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 The Spartans Season Summary A good season where we blew our chances of automatic promotion by winning the league title though redeemed ourselves by winning the promotion playoffs. Season Details League Table - A third place finish is excellent though it could of been so much better. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were very placed going into the last six games but just two points from eighteen curtailed any hope we had of winning the league title. Promotion Playoffs - We were excellent in rediscovering our form by beating East Fife over two legs Scottish Cup - Embarrassing. We were dreadful in losing away to non league Berwick Rangers at the first time of asking, the second round. Premier Sports Cup - With every other side in our group playing in a higher division, we did so well in finishing second and we were extremely unlucky not to qualify for the next round. SPFL Trust Trophy - It was another exit at the first hurdle as we failed to compete with Motherwell's reserves. Friendlies - Considering the quality of the sides we faced, only losing once was remarkable. Squad - We need to improve significantly to compete at the higher level. Squad Dynamics - It is very nice indeed. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - I allowed a few fringe players to depart, mainly on free transfers though we did receive a nominal fee for striker Jamie Penker. Youth Candidates - Right winger Ally Penrice YP24M13 is the best prospect out of a good intake. Finances - We made a small profit as we remained in the black. Key Players Blair Henderson - Our best player by some distance, the striker scored 28 goals in 43 appearances. Jordan Tapping - The central defender started the season as a backup though his form soon made him an automatic selection. Rhys Armstrong - On paper our best player, he is desperate to leave and play at a higher level. Gregor Woods - It was a decent campaign from the central midfielder. Billy Mortimer - The experienced right back was good enough. Next Season Survival. Anything else is a bonus. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary Easily one of the most difficult seasons I've ever done in FM and the table was nowhere near as comfortable as it looked. We started well picking up 4 wins in our first 5 games but then an awful run saw us down in 12th with 8 games remaining. The board summoned me in and told me results must improve and even forced me to drop my left winger or face the sack! We managed 4 wins (all against relegated teams), 3 draws and a defeat in the last 8 to end up in a respectable 7th. The table shows us only 6 points off 2nd but in reality we were nowhere near that for 95% of the campaign. All players that come through the team's system are classed as homegrown in Cape Verde, not Portugal, so I could only field 8 real players at any time and had to play at least 3 greyed out players in every game. This won't get much better either as the manager in the holiday season only signed one of his intake before I took over, so only one player will become homegrown next season. As the training has to be between 15-21 none of my existing first team will ever meet this criteria as they're all 21 and over so I'll be fielding at least 2 greys per game next season too. My academy graduates will become hgn but from my first intake the first one is still 200 days away, the latest 750. In better news we made a profit each month allowing me to persuade the board to upgrade the junior coaching. I've opted to hold off on youth rec and facilities until we can make a more realistic push for promotion and source a bit more income to run them. Key Players Without Blimbota this career would already be over. He single-handedly carried us with 23 goals in 27 games, 50% of our goals scored for the season. He was our only player who averaged over 7 and often won games on his own. His attributes are very simple, pace, composure & finishing at a decent level for this tier and we stuck to his strengths getting him in behind whenever we could. Varela was injured for the first half of the season but his return helped us turn the sinking shift around from Christmas onwards. 4 goals and 3 assists aren't numbers to match Blimbota but he always seemed involved in the good things we did. I've picked out Ofesse because the registration rules meant he had to play alongside a greyed out centre half all season so was effectively doing the work of 2 defenders at times. He's a big lad who enjoys defending deep and sticking his head on it again the more direct teams at this level. I'm under no illusions he won't be around for a long time but I did take to him as a player this season. Youth Intake Lots of potential here and not the worst set of personalities I've seen for a first intake. I would have preferred more CA as being semi pro it will be hard to develop these lads, especially as they can't play for the first team for a while but beggars can't be choosers. Ribeiro 24e & Reis 24h look the best of the bunch and will both be joining the first team squad (along with plenty more!) as soon as their age allows. I didn't realise the full intake would be Cape Verdean which can only be a positive for the national team if/when we do reach the top table of Portuguese football. Transfers Nothing to report here, we really can't afford to lose anyone at the moment! Everyone is contracted for at least one more season and I can't imagine anyone will receive an offer to turn the president's head so we should be okay for another year. Next Season Another season of survival and trying to eke far more out of 8 players than should realistically be possible. I'm hoping by the January registration window some of my graduates should be homegrown and may boost us if we are struggling again at Christmas. Really enjoying this so far! Popular Post Cultured Left Foot
If you'd like more in depth updates, they can be found on my YouTube channel - http://www.youtube.com/c/culturedleftfoot SEASON SEVEN REVIEW Another season is completed of the youth academy save. The first bit of big news was that we released a number of the 'original' senior players who had done well in the first few seasons but were now getting on a bit or not progressing and hindering development of our homegrown, academy players. A number of previous youth players were also released who didn't make the grade. For what I'm sure will not be the last time, one of young players was poached from our junior coaching. However, I don't think Jenson Barkway will be to much of a loss.... Matt O'Keefe was once again our stand out player of the season. He is just phenomenal at this level and scores so many goal. He is starting to tail off, progression wise, but whilst he is performing well, he'll be our leading man up top. Very surprised he's not had a transfer bid for him yet. He has some interest from League Two, but no concrete bids made yet..... Our season was hit with a little shock when our best left back was hit with a long term injury during the game against Gateshead. He suffered a broken ankle during a tackle and was ruled out for 6-7 months of the season. Hopefully he can make a come back in Season Eight because full back is an area we are very weak in. The youth intake preview was very good again, but the actual intake was pretty poor compared to recent seasons - so no need to share pics of the players. I don't think many of them will be challenging the first team in the upcoming season. But as we got to the end of the season, Central midfielder Dean Keenan refused out contract and agreed to league two club Crewe. Bit of a blow as he had lots of potential, but I do think out of all the central midfielders we could lose, he was the one I was less willing to fight for... But overall, the season was pretty successful, We never really changed the playoffs and never were really threatened with relegation. Which is something to be happy with. Looking for an improvement next year as the players have another season of senior football under their belt. The season was a record finish for the club. 18th in the Vanarama National League! The board accepted a bid for the club for our star center back and Paul Byrne is a player I'm really gutted to lose, even if its for 100k! Long term, I think we could have sold for more. Hopefully that 25% sell on fee (profit) comes in handy, I think he's deemed for better things than MK Dons. Unfortunately the cash has gone to paying off debt of the club rather than us being allowed to invest it into the youth academy. Gutting. On we go to Season Eight for another season in Vanarama National League! Happy New Year everyone and Wish us luck! Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Pretty good but just not quite good enough against the better sides. Frustrating but it's where we are atm. Youth The intake was much better than I thought! 6 elite talents! Wonderkids well Ramadan is still there but his second season was a disappointment all told. We'll see if he gets better. Ideally he'd play striker but he's got little chance with Lippi 40K up there. I did experiment with a couple of two striker formations but they weren't particularly successful. Popular Post grff
Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2041/42 Season Review A very pleasing season as we clinched our second domestic double. We continue to struggle in the Champion's League which I blame on the stupid new format. Finished 14th in the league phase which landed me Barcelona in the knockout round. They mauled us! Some really good player stats. Our new first choice striker bagged 65 goals in all competition . He also set a new average rating for the season. The youth intake was very poor again as we only took on 2 recruits. Transfers Season history...
Popular Post BigJack
FC United Season 16 - 2038/39. Season Preview Preview Predicted Finish - 24th Competitions Overview EFL Championship - 15th. League Table Past Positions FA Cup - Lost in the 4th Round to Newcastle United. Carabao Cup - Lost in the 3rd Round to Aston Villa. Predicted to finish bottom of the pile, our first season in the Championship looked like a tough challenge. 3 weeks before the season started, my board decided to make this challenge even harder. I had already organised to sell Macormac 34c to Forest for £8.75m + 50% of any future fee, before they decided to sell Thompson 33e to Basel for £14.75m + 30% of any future profit and Wood 34a to Everton for £8.75m upfront, £3.5m after 20 league games and 30% of any future profit. This left me looking for 3 new starters as all 3 were key men for us. If you would have offered me 21st at this point I would have took it. We started the season well and we never really flirted with the relegation spots as we sat in mid table and recorded a very respectable 15th placed finish. Playing Squad Squad Transfers Best 11 We have some really talented players in the squad and if we can avoid losing anyone, we can have another decent season where we avoid a relegation battle. I genuinely think if we can develop a few players and get the strikers scoring this season then we can push on for a top half finish. GK - Williams 31b - Another decent year as our number 1, we conceded a fair amount of goals but as a newly promoted club who play attacking football, thats to be expected. RB - Askey 35c - A solid option at right back and he continues to attract Premier League interest. LB - Diallo 35b - Another solid player but he is sulking over moving to a bigger club. CB - Jabra 30a - Been with us nearly 10 years and continues to be a major presence in the side. CB - Bascoe 36a - A new face in our back line, really pushed on towards the end of the season and will be a started for us going forward. CM - Woodcraft 36b - Another who really made the push to first team regular this year. CM - Rouse 36c - After the transfers we were left short in midfield so moved him from the wing and he adapted really well. AMR - Mead 34d - Replaced Thompson and had a brilliant year. AML - Purcell 37a - He will be our main man very soon if I can keep hold of him. Is also our first ever player to make the NXGN list, coming in at number 32. ST - Liddle 33c - Needs to start scoring more but does a lot of work, our Nunez. ST - Jewell 33d - Had a good first year at this level and I am confident he will get 20 league goals next season. Others Cook 37b - Stepped into the first team picture and is developing really well. Rooney 37c - A solid option at RB and is being hunted by prem clubs. Savage 33b - Has spent most his time with us out on loan but he done ok. Turnbull 28d - Remains a solid option but Bascoe 36a emerging means he is back to 3rd choice, Mcdermott 24c - Will get his testimonial this summer in a game against Celtic and always does his job when called upon. Bennet 37g - Stepped in when needed and done ok, needs some development but he looks a decent option for the future. Youth Development Preview Intake Personalities Its a better intake than last year and we have 2 cb's who could be of use in the future. The best of the bunch are: Adkins 39a Roberts 39b Wilson 39c Hudson 39d Konate 39e Finances and Facilities Finances Facilities At the start of the season, following the player sales we agreed the creation of our U21's side and a Training Facilities Upgrade. We also managed to convince the board to Expand the stadium. Come the end of the season the Stadium Expansion was announced, as was the Youth Category Increase mentioned in the last post. We are ticking along nicely on this front, with great training facilities and good youth facilities, Exceptional junior coaching and youth recruitment also. The stadium expansion takes us to 16552 with Broadhurst Parks maximum capacity 20000, we may be only 5 or so years away from needing a new stadium. Other Overall Best 11 Club Records We reached 800 Games managed this season and expanded/upgraded the coaching staff at all levels. Also on a sidenote I keep a shortlist containing every player released/sold by the club, it makes for an interesting read to see where they have all ended up. Popular Post officiallydeej
Season Summary Although we only got one point more than our previous season this time things just felt.. better. We were always nearer to the top and never looked in danger of going down. We put a strong run together in the third quarter of the season but in the end the B teams were just too strong for us, only managing to get 1 point from the 4 games against them with Braga B hitting us for 6. Some of the teams that came up this season were very poor, particularly the bottom 3 from where 6 of our 11 wins came. It appears the players only have to becoming homegrown at the club at some point of the season to qualify from the start so half of my 2024 graduates were available to me for the whole campaign. I think we are still a couple of seasons away from a proper challenge and we will lose at least 2 of our regular starters this summer but I do feel positive progress is being made. Key Players Bilimbota was out standout again this season, notching another 18 goals despite switching to a front two. Our other striker Tom will be leaving this summer after never getting over being on the bench in the first season so a lot of pressure will be on Billy to keep up his numbers. Another solid season too for Varela with a solid 6 goals and 6 assists after moving out to the right wing. I think he's probably our best player attributes wise and at only 23 I'm hoping he still has a little more room for improvement to give us a push towards promotion. Youth Intake Lots of potential again but not much current ability for the here and now and a poor spread of personalities. Almeida 25a will be available from the start of next season and will give us some depth on the left wing, his 12 finishing looks promising for an inside forward. The other strong player from this intake looks to be Denilson Monteiro 25c, he's also available from the start of the season which will be a welcome boost as I'm currently playing a centre half in that position. Transfers Still nothing to report here. Next Season More of the same I think. It would be lovely to make it into the top two and have a crack at the playoffs but I don't think we're at that point yet. The threat of five teams being relegated is always looming large in such a small division so we'll be hoping for a good start to keep us clear of trouble. I wouldn't mind having a crack at the cup (not sure if there's money to be made) but so far the teams I've drawn in the first round have been too strong for us.
OlivierL
On 31/12/2022 at 17:00, officiallydeej said: Africanos Braganca - Campeonato de Portugal Prio A Finally! Good luck with Africanos, I still miss them. First seasons are idd very difficult.

Popular Post LazyBandit
Eskiltuna City FK Season 1 (2023) I've been itching to give this challenge another go, so this time I'm taking my talents to the Swedish city of Eskilstuna. Eskilstuna City FK is a club with a long but uneventful history, having only played 1 season in the top division back in 1925. The city of Eskilstuna has proved to be fruitful before, producing several international players including Kennet Andersson, Marcus Danielson, Sebastian Larsson, and Mika Väyrynen. Hopefully we can develop some stars of our own. Squad Pretty barebones squad to start with but I suppose it could be worse. We'll be playing a 442 formation based on the players we have. League Table For our first season we find ourselves in the Swedish Second Division North Svealand, the 4th tier of Sweden. We started out pretty rough, but after a few tweaks to our tactic we began to rise up the table. We had to go through 2 rounds of playoff but we did well enough to see ourselves being promoted in our first season! I'm very proud of this team and believe we should be good enough to stay up next year. Youth Intake Quite a lot of potential in this intake, so I'm pretty pleased. The overall ability is a little low and there's some not great personalities, but we got more squad depth. Unfortunately the intake didn't come through until after the final game of the season, so I haven't got to use any of the new players yet. Season Review I'm very happy with the results of this season. A surprise promotion is always welcome, but I do wonder whether we've been promoted a bit too soon. Another long term goal for this save is to build our own home ground, as we share a stadium with in-town rivals AFC Eskiltuna.

the_hdk
AFE - Ferrinha Season 2023 (1st) - Serie C Players / Transfers So it's been a while since I started this save, I went on holidays, got sick...bla bla did not play for over a month. But I'm back! First season went really great and got promoted to Serie B. In the Sao Paulo league we did not do well. Only 8th. Love the real kits of the club so i'll keep them for a few seasons. Cup was horrible and we went out to amateurs in round 1. VINICIUS ZANOCELO who was loaned out to Serie A club Santos retured and was directly important for us. Sadly after tasting Serie A level he wants to leave. Let's see if any club will bid 2,5mln or he will stay another 2 seasons at our club. PEDRO PAULO was the MVP of the year with 40 goals and 5 assists. Hopefully we can keep him for longer. Overall we have a decent team and i'm confident we can stay in Serie B. Our HOYD It's hard not to pronounce his surname ia tiny different way...so I'll stay with SERGIO. Resolute personality...decent skill. Will serve us well in coming years I hope. CHEMALE #1 intake (2023) And right away with two Elite talents. Looks promising. NICOLAS could become our future central back. His personality is a bit crap though. Great tackling already though. MAZINHO could be our next midfielder. Good determination and work rate. Love his bravery. Unambitious doesn't have to be horrible. Needs work on passing and his speed.
Weed07
My save with Nantwich has been going well, half way through my third season we are top of the Conference North, have integrated some youth players who are doing well and we have a big pay day with an away trip to Anfield in the FA Cup third round. However, this may sound strange but i'm just not feeling it, i think its because at the start of FM23 i was going to avoid English football and do a build a nation save so i've decided to start over with a combined youth only/build a nation save and seeing as Northern Ireland hasn't been completed as a youth only as far as i can see i'm going there. I'm now the manager of Crewe United, i reloaded saves several times but could only get either Crewe United or Belfast Celtic and of the two Crewe started with the bigger squad so i picked them, also i can try and make Crewe United as the Crewe known for producing youth players instead of the English one. I may go back to my other save but for now my main focus is on Northern Ireland with Crewe United. Edited January 2, 2023 by Weed07
JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 8 - European Deciders So today is another European decider update, I want to be able to stay in the Champions League by finishing in 24th or above in the League Phase. We lost 4-0 to Arsenal, but we did get a draw against Atlético de Madrid, so we didn't get destroyed. We did kind of need a win though. In the end, we missed out on getting into the top 24th by 3 places and 2 points. If we had beaten Atlético de Madrid for the 2nd time in 2 seasons, we would have qualified due to results between teams and knock out either Atlético de Madrid or Benfica. Makes me wonder who would have gone out there. Also, in more concerning news, Bayern München brought our best player Szulc for his £2.5M minimum release clause. He didn't want to talk about a new deal and I tried to negotiate a sell on clause with Bayern, but they got sick on my negotiating and just went for the release clause instead. I'm more surprise they didn't just hit it to begin with. As I'm sure you can understand why, he's a big loss to the team. Also, my other former wonderkid (I'm calling him that, not the game) is on loan at Ipswich Town, so he's getting some minutes, which is nice. officiallydeej
SG Sacavenese - Portugal Another day, another save! Or so it feels at the moment. Although I didn't have the heart to go through the slog of struggling for homegrown players with Africanos Braganca, I did love the bizarre way the Portuguese leagues work so wanted to say for another (slightly easier perhaps?) crack. Thanks to @The7Striker's guide to interesting teams I've landed on SG Sacavenese, who have very decent facilities for this level. They also have the huge bonus of starting professional which is a fairly rare commodity for the teams promoted into the 4th tier. Looking forward to this one and I can already see this squad is far stronger than the one I had before so fingers crossed I won't get relegated and sacked this time.

fries
Premier League 2036/37 (season 14) Season Summary Both a great and a bit frustrating season. We did okay in the league but ended up in the 9th position with 15 fewer points than last season. This means that we unfortunately will not play any European games next season. This season, however, we had a very great run in Europe League. Undefeated in the group stage with just one draw against AC Ajaccio. We rotated the 10 outfield players in the European games. Thus the 7 wins were with my reserves and upcoming youths. In the knockout games, we continued to rotate and win. The first semi-final leg and the final were the only games I started with my strongest XI. However in the final, we lost in extra time. I focused maybe too much on destroying the play of Newcastle. In the end, we committed a penalty in extra time and lost after 120 minutes. The rotation in the European games developed a handful of my youngest players very well. I now have 22 players plus 2 out on loans with at least 2.5 CA. Owen, Wilde, Shaw, and Maddison had their breakthrough this season. My strikers did very well. Walters and Walters scored 23 and 21 goals. Owen scored 15 with 10 in 12 Europe League games. Smith, Zerrouki, and Schubert among others did also perform well. I had 2 players on the NXGN list. Owen was number 2 on the list, and Wilde was number 29. I don't understand why players like Maddison (who was on the list last season), Irvine (out on loan in the Championship), and Shaw were not on the list. The youth intake preview looked promising. 5 stars and 5 A's. The intake was great with 5 elite talents. But mostly mediocre but not bad personalities. No transfers of significance this season. An honorable mention to a former important player that will leave the club after this season. Byran was very important for my rise up in the leagues. He holds the club record for the most League goals with 255 goals. He was formerly my captain. But he is unfortunately not good enough for the Premier League. And a few years ago he declared that he did not want to renew his contract. Unfortunately, I have not had the option to play his testimonial. Farewell to a true club legend! (However ingame he is only considered a club icon) Finances and Upgrades No upgrades this season. Hopefully, I can soon ask for upgrades to the youth facilities. Next season Next season, I just hope to keep developing my players. If I am lucky we can qualify for a European spot again.

polesetter1
Stomil Olsztyn | 2023-24 Season - Winter Break Report | Fortuna 1. Liga NOT GREAT, NOT TERRIBLE Schedule League Table We are truely underdogs in this league. We spend the least at wages and are really harmless up front. My aim was to limit overall chances in our matches, but it was working only at the beginning of the season. My personal goal was to keep xGA below 1.0 in every game, but our defense was quite leaky. We've also conceded ridiculous amount of 7 penalties in 20 games, while having only 1 such chance up front. We've also had 5 red cards. I have to reconsider the roles of central defenders perhaps. We are 0 points free of relegation zone and the league is very tight. I've expected that having slightly above 1 pt/game should ensure our survival but it may not be the case. The main problem this season is very poor performance up front, with our strikers scoring 3 goals between them in 20 games. Not great, eh? But it's not like they've had tons of chances. We've started the season with 0:5 loss to a non-league team in FA cup but after that we've had the best period in terms of performance. We've earned 13 points in 10 games, restricting opponents' chances really well. We've had 5 clean sheets in that period. We were even quite unlucky during that games. Unfortunately, our performances started to drop since October. We've scored some lucky points but were worse in almost every game. At the end, we've lost even two final home games, despite being unbeaten at home for the first 7 games (with 6 clean sheets). Maybe I've made some mistakes with my training schedules? Player Stats I'm also a bit pessimistic for the future. It's gonna be hard to keep any half-decent player in the squad. I've already lost 5-star talent (Łukasz Borkowski) at the start of the season, and I know that I'll lose Maciej Spychała and Werick Caetano in June. I don't have any idea how I could perform this challenge, with only few potentially Ekstraklasa-level players in the squad. It's gonna be really challenging to even keep them at the squad. We're the underdogs, but level of the squad will be probably dropping in the coming years, so lots of struggle ahead. Especially, having the board that's already turned down 11 out of 11 requests, but I've expected that it may be pointless to ask them anything in the first season. Transfers Current Squad Youth Intake Preview I've also had some intake preview. It's going to be epic! I don't think it will be a long challenge but I'll keep you updated!
MacronQLF
TECOS FC END OF THE SEASON 2031-2032 (mexican 1st division) Hey guys ! To do a little recap we were 12th in the opening stage last season and 10th in the closing stage, we were stuck mid table for 3 seasons This time it started like always, we grabbed a few wins but still can't handle the big team which leads us to be in 12th position in the opening stage again, nothing to speak about really Spoiler The big surprise came in the second part of the season ! Spoiler We were sooooooooo close of the league victory as we lost in final to monterrey in playoffs but what a run ! I didn't expect what will happen early in the closing stage but we were just winning game after game despite the fact that nothing changed ( no big tacticals changes and no golden generation breaking through in the first team ), i feel like it was more a matter of morale and dynamic The miracle run didn't stop in playoffs as for the first time we were past quarter finals and we grabbed a huge win against tigres who were very strong in regular season , sadly monterrey were just too strong for us Still really happy about this year and i hope we will be able to do a season like this again Here the legendary team we played with this year , no player will be highlighted this year as it feels more like a team work than an individual good season despite the consistensy of Guarch and Cuadros all season Spoiler About the transfers we didn't lose anyone this year, i wanted to sell to boost the club bank account but no interesting offer came in Spoiler But i have a bad news for the club, our youth promotion is absolutely horrendous this season Spoiler On paper it didn't look so bad as we have 2 fivestars and 1 fourandahalfstars but the goalkeeper is a midget and the 2 others have terrible personnality, for the first time i don't think a player will make it to the first team even as a subtitute The problem is still the bad youth facilities and i don't know and don't hope it's a bug but i don't have the option to upgrade them , it didn't surprised me last seasons as we were very short on money but we now have a good money in the bank and i still can't do it If it's really a bug it's gonna be very hard to complete the challenge as relying on miracle runs is very random, i will still do my best ! Spoiler
Popular Post ludak
We keep winning it! 3 in a row for now. We still lack the quality for the CL, but I guess we'll be there in the next 5 years. Milos Batalo is the only one worth mentioning from this intake, as all the others seem terrible. We still keep on hoping for a goalie, as Katerinis goes into his 11th season as a starter. That's all for now!
