Daddy
2024/25 Midseason Review: Multiple things happening here: 1 - the old team aged in dog years over the offseason. 2 - Three long-term injuries for key players. 3 - The youth players are no where near ready yet. Staying up looks like it's going to be a real battle. Intake Preview: Really strong preview. Hopefully at least one player comes in ready to play.

Very nice Definitely potential for a retrain as a deep lying playmaker, then that trait is an excellent fit. There isn't much of a difference between a DLP and AP just dribbling and flair swapped for tackling and positioning (which you can cover in the one training focus for defensive positioning). This of course still relies on you playing out from the back and not just going over the top of your midfield

Neo_Geo
Would people be interested in my yearly update having a 4th infographic that showed the top 5 graduates? If it's overkill I will leave it, just realise that some (like me) like to see the attributes of the best intake. This is what it might look like (started with 8 but the image was too big that it caused my original message to be flagged to be approved so I reduced to top 5 but just cut off the last 3 so the 5 shown probably aren't the best 5 and its in season 2 rather than just after the intake came in):

Popular Post mikeyfm
Hello, i have devided to join you guys on your mission. Last FM i was kinda doing a journeyman save in nothern europe and in the end i won the CL with Viking Stavanger. This time i wanted to go to finland because i did win every first League division in northern europe except finland. Also somewhere here was a graphic that said no one finished with finland? Salama, Jazz Pori and Atlantis A came from the second Division. Jazz Pori had facilities at 4 which looked really promising but they had like 8 Players with a contract. Salama had more players with contracts, a reserveteam and a u20, I've decided then to join them. I coundn't cancel the transfers which solves my goalkeeperproblems, or not? It's with the rules if i cant cancel or not? Or is a another way to cancel? Have a nice day!
Riebow
Hello everyone, I've been reading through all of the 62 pages of this topic and decided to give it a go myself. I had a try with Oriental in Portugal, was at top of my group the entire 2nd season, but lost my last two games and missing out of the promotion group... and the board decided to sack me! I had a A+ rating from the board before those losses . I was really gutted as I was really enjoying the save. So I want to try again but this time in the Serie D. However, after holidaying for a season I noticed that there are no promotions to Serie D... Is it then allowed to pick one of the teams that finished last in their respective groups? DrJones
Grosseto 2030/31 We managed to get the last play-off spot which seems to be a good season, but in fact it was a heartbreaking one. We where in second place halfway trough the season but then the board decided to sell the only capable box to box midfelder I had and everything went down the toilet. Such a shame because the starting XI we had in the first half of the season were fantastic. Squad Top players The only really good defender we have. 20 goals in serie B this year. If I know my board well they will sell him for peanuts this summer and leave us useless for next season. Youth Intake History
Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 10 - Winter Break So after taking a few days away from the save, I've come back in an attempt to make use of a bad situation. I am honestly expecting to be sacked at some point, but whether or not we can avoid that remains to be seen. So far though, we're still in the cup and the league hasn't been a complete disaster. Though that can very easily change. We're only 7 points clear of the relegation zone, even if we're just 2 points away from European football. I refuse to accept that things can and will go well for us. The Europa League is going much better than expected. Wins against Groningen, Atalanta and Sheriff have allowed us to make sure we are all but safe from being knocked out of the Europa League, but I believe that there is still a small chance of getting into the top 8. I don't think it'll happen, but the chance is there. We did get our youth intake preview, and we're expected to get a good CB, two good CMs, a good AMC and a good winger. Hopefully this helps us replace the players that we've lost this season. That being said, we might be losing Tomasz Korolczuk, he's currently wanted by 16 different clubs. I can't even say they're small clubs either. This will be a long January transfer window. JLAB's YAC with Motor Lublin Part 31
Popular Post the_hdk
Polonia Warszawa - The Black Shirts Season 32/33 Players / Transfers Boom. 5th championship in a row. Not as easy seaosn as the last but quite uneventful. Legia and Lech still out of it. We only had two changes in first 11. BAWOLIK replaced NAGY who left to Widzew for 3.2mln. And KOTON was placed on the bench and replaced by MICHALSKI who will porbably move to the attack next season as I cannot extend the contract of TOMIC. Three euro cups and all won for the first time by the clubs. NEWCASTLE and Hansi FLICK with CL win. MBAPPE now with 4 Ballon d'Ors to equal HAALAND. Euro won by Italy my third home. We are doing so well Liverpool offered us a contract. I also finally got two amazing affiliate clubs. ZELJEZNICAR from Bosnia and BUDUCNOST from Montenegro. Hope they will bring some amazing talent. Class of MERIEUX '33. Amazing class. Best one so far. Four foriegn intakes! One Nigerian, One American , One Italian and one Italian-Polish mix. KAMINSKI seems to be the best talent of the group. Look at the skills already. Heading 13, Marking 11 and Tackling 14. Amazing determination and teamwork. He needs work on physicals...but uhhh he seems to be good. Second Nigerian youth player and again a striker. SOLOMON is more of a winger who is not that fast. He will needd alot of work but with determination of 16 I do have hope for him. And last is GALFANO. ASlo a striker. Will also need alot of work. But cool to see Italian youth intake.
Popular Post Winski
NK Čelik Zenica Season 1 |2023/2024| Mid-season review Well, life is good here in Bosnia & Herzegovina! The start is very, very good. Halfway our first season we are standing 1st in the Prva Liga Federacije(2nd level). We got some really good players for this level. I've got 21 players to select, and sometimes after an injury or multiple bans I need to select a grey player. But overall I can't be happier with this start! We are 6 points ahead of nr 2 FK Budućnost Banovići, so if we continue this form in the second half of the season, we got a very good chance to become champions. Best players so far are Emir Čančar, Fenan Salčinović and Armin Šarić. Striker Emir Čančar is having the best season of his life so far. He scored 23 goals in 20 matches, and also has 7 assists on his name. And he's still 21 years old, so hopefully he'll become even better. But also Armin Šarić is still 22 years old, so beside some really old players we also got some nice youngsters. Youth intake preview I hired former Slovenian international Robert Koren as my HoYD. And this looks like a very promising preview!! I can't wait until intake-day to see what we get.

Not really what I expected, but I'll sure take it. So we are going up into the top tier next season, and the goal is simply to survive there. Things are going faster than expected, but I still expect this to go on for a very long time yet. I did manage to get some more improvements accepted though, so at least we are progressing as a club off the pitch as well. Also, due to the promotion the board had to expand the stadium a bit to comply with league regulations. Europe continues to be a challenge as we succumb to Benfica in the Knockout round of the Champion's League. Player stats continue to be top level. Our star striker is now 34 years old so is well within the twilight of his career. We take on most of the youth intake which saw a mixture of quality coming through. Daddy
2024/25 Season Review: A weird season where at times we were actually midtable, but then faltered down the stretch. As stated before the players are either too old and regressing or too young and facilities aren't helping development enough. There are a few good players in prime though. Not included in this info are three players that retired and two I released as they were older and not good enough. I'd rather give younger players playing time. At the end of the season there was a takeover, but the finances boost came from a loan so we'll be back to underwater fast. Youth Intake: A good crop of talent, but none ready to play now and develop will be slow at the club. 2025/26 Season Preview: Looks like a struggle season again. I don't see an immediate path forward, and the recent movement here on completing in new countries has peaked my interest in something else. I'm pausing this save and will come back to it later. Popular Post Fikru
Season 3 Division 2 South Svealand What a season ending! Befor last game we where 3rd place behind IK Sleipner, our goal difference was better so we needed to win and they need to lose or draw. They where upp against Hanvikens SK, so our hopes wasent great. But Hanvikens SK did us a solid when they draw against Sleipner and the 2nd place is our, and we are going to the second divison qualification group. Hard opponents that i thought would knock us out, but i guess there leagues are "easier" then our. Since they came second in their leagues with much more points then we had. But as you see the group was quite easy for us, so were of to the stage head to head for a spot in the Divison 1. We got to face Torns IF, a very hard opponent. They won the first match with 1-0 against us and where so mutch better, so we needed a miracle. And a miracle we got 3-1 at home and we are going up! In our home game Torns IF was better then us, so this was a real robbery. So it will be intresting how we will stand in Division 1.Divison 2 SS Awards Division 2 Awards Coaching course: Board handing out coaching badges like its candy Spoiler Youth Preview: Youth intake squad: We got 2 players for our youtch academy that have broken in to the starting eleven, Mathias from the 2023 intake and Akram from the 2024.Mathias Sjögren Akram Haddad Transfers Spoiler Squad Spoiler Here is how our team looks like ending the season, everyone that i wanted to extend contract has agreed to stay for our promotion to Division 1 in sweden.Niclas Thomasson Our amazing striker since season 1, just wanted give him some spotlight time here aswell. Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Feels like a real step forward! We lost 3 of our first 6 matches and then went on a run of 1 defeat and 16 wins in the next 17 games which put us second. We couldn't quite maintain that but finished top 4 for the first time to ensure our first ever Champoins League adventure! Players The main reason for our excellent season was the continued emergence of Giovanni Moscardelli 51A as a real genuine superstar. This season, at 18, he made his debut for the Italy national team and won Goldenboy. Finished the season with 27 goals, 10 assists from 46 games, mainly from the left wing. He is unreal. I've got him signed up for 5 more years but he's already whinging about moving on, which kinda sucks. Lorenzo Lippi 40K is now 30 with 498 goals in 527 games for us. Ridiculous stats for a 2 star youth intake player! Career

JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 2047/48 Review (s26) Similar season to last season. We failed to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League for the second season in a row but did manage to make it out of the group stage of the Europa League and through to the second knockout round, where we lost 2:6 on aggregate to Brentford. The biggest thing to happen this season was our average attendance in the league. We managed an average of over 1,000 per game for the first time, which is also the first time any team in Wales has achieved this. I am hoping this is a sign that the league reputation is growing and that this might be seen in our intakes in time. Popular Post Daddy
@The7StrikerGood guess, but I went with Israel. After having a good run there in FM22 but never making it out of Champions League Group Stage I wanted to take another run at it. Unfortunately the team I had used was relegated even further down so I'm going with a different team this time. I stuck with Flower Power because it's very contrasting no matter the kit colors its seems thus far. Inherited a pretty solid squad here. Strengths on defense and forwards, and the team is overall fairly young so there won't be a rush to get youth players in the first team. I think the team will be good enough to push towards top of table.

It was a really hard season though, as we did struggle with the higher level of opponents. 91 goals conceded in 38 games is way too many. Still, we have started to face a few professional teams, so it's not exactly surprising we are having some issues. Popular Post LazyBandit
FC Wacker Innsbruck Season 3 (2025/26) League Table Although we finish in the same spot as we did last season, we actually finished with more points. This season was a frustrating one, as we drew a lot, including 7 draws in 9 games at one point. I managed to work out a tactic that's more stable defensively, but we struggled to score sometimes. Overall I'm satisfied with our progress this year. Intake Another pretty solid intake. Christian Ache looks to be very promising. A couple of bad personalities, which is disappointing. We are reaching the point where the lack of quality defenders we're getting is becoming concerning. Central defenders is our biggest position of need. We added Bosnia and North Macedonia in this year's intake. Countries: 8/227 (3.52%) Transfers We have had our first big money sales of intake players. We also continue to lose quality players who don't want to re-sign with us. Season Review Another solid year of building up the club. We finished upgrading our training facilities and the board agreed to expand our youth recruitment to Excellent. They also agreed to let me take another coaching course. Both the board and supporters are generally happy, but I worry they might be expecting higher finishes in the near future. Towards the latter half of the year rumors of a takeover began to popup, so we'll see if that goes anywhere.

We've made sure to rebuild our confidence during winter frendlies, and started the spring round with power! We've had much easier starting schedule than the round before, so we've managed to make a good run of form and everything became easier for us! We've also got our youth recruitment improved, after some threatening from my side! I have such a strong position in the club, that those talks with the board start to work out well! We also have our first international, as Andrzej Kolcz (25B) got called up by Poland Under 19s! He's played a match and got injurde, though. We've scored 28 points in 15 games! We were one of the strongest teams in that period and managed my first perfect month - march 2026, where we've won all 4 matches, and haven't concede a goal! (Still not enough for Manager of the Month.) We've comfortably stayed in the Ekstraklasa, finishing in the top half (8th) and we've earned lots of money! Lots of facilities will be improved next year! We've also got our first affiliate - Stal Stalowa Wola, a team that got us knocked out of the polish cup this year. I'm still waiting for my first win in that competition. I'm quite optimistic for the future, because we can easily beat teams with much better players! Unfortunately, our youth intake wasn't really spectacular. We haven't got anyone like Andrzej Kolcz (25B) this year, but at least we have some central defenders with OK personalities, which could replace our aging ones. What was the secret of our big improvement? I don't know! Probably the easier fixtures at the beginning of the round, with tough oppositions at the very end (last two matches, which we were very unlucky to lose!). I've also let my assistant manager handle press conferences and made sure that defensive set pieces are trained before EVERY game. It's helped a lot. Based on xG performance, we should be in contention for european cups already! Maybe next year. Also, Andrzej Kolcz (25B) develops really fast. He doesn't draw much interest, though. See you next season! Schedule - 2nd Round Spoiler League Table Spoiler First Team Squad & Statistics Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Youth Intake Spoiler Youth Intake wasn't really exciting, but there are some players, who might make it into first team. Especially, those central defenders. We've also got our first foreigner! A Vietnamese - Tran Thanh Phong (26F) Paweł Pyrka (26A) - seems to have some talent, but is unambitious. I have troubles with developing such players, so I don't have much hope. Wiktor Płonka (26B) - high potential, OK personality. I've been waiting for a centre-back! He needs some time, before he gets introduced to the first team, but I won't hesitate to give him a chance. The rest of the intake seems to lack potential for any serious role in the first team, but Tomasz Famulak (26D) has good personality, so maybe he could develop to beeing a backup in the first team, sharing his personality and helping our future talents in their development. Also, we start to struggle with depth on that position, so eventually, if we're unlucky with future intakes, he might have some bigger role. Next Season No changes are planned for the next season. We've populated our youth team, so I'll be looking for more loans, as those proved to boost development of Filip Romachów (24B) really fast! I'll also try to introduce one or two youth players to our rotation in the first team. Especially, one of our right-backs will get some chance. Probably Michał Goździejewski (25C), who has fairly professional personality and 3,5-4,5 star potential. The first squad for the next season: GK - Konrad Syldatk, he's developed a lot during this season! Nevertheless, he had some really bad performances. We don't have any serious alternative for him. DR - Karol Żwir - he's very solid part of the team. Unfortunately, he's started to decline. That's why we need someone for that position. DC - Hubert Krawczun - he's clearly not enough for that level, but we don't have anyone who'd be enough. DC - Jakub Tecław - the same as above. DL - Mateusz Jońca - he had some nice games, but overall... I;ve hoped for bigger improvements from him, when I'd came to the team. DM - Szymon Dowgiałło - he was quite solid defensive midfielder. Nothing special as he's not suited for that level, but I'm OK with him. DM - Jakub Philipkowski - he has developed really well this season, and I think he's already better than Dowgiałło. AML - Andrzej Kolcz (25B) - it was a joy to watch him develop. He hasn't provided much in terms of goals and assists, but those green arrows always make me happy. AMC - Michał Żukowski - lots of up and downs this season, but he's still managed to score 10 goals! Very useful player but lacks consistency. AMR - Filip Wójcik - he's a team leader. Very good player that we rely on heavily. Nevertheless, he was more spectacular during autumn, which was poor for the team overall. 8 goals, 9 assists. ST - Bartosz Florek - he still develops. Our main striker, but lacks some consistency though. I've started to yell at him after below par performances. Maybe that will help? Zagłębie Lubin wants to buy him, but he's not really determined to go. He's had his best season, despite playing at higher level. He was on of the best scorers in the league with 15 goals in 31 matches.

officiallydeej
Chernomorets 1919 Burgas - Vtora Liga (Bulgaria) I have decided to park my Sacavenense save for the moment in favour of tackling one of the nations that is still not yet completed. I toyed with a couple of other leagues, namely Romania and a return to Hungary but ended up settling on a place I have never managed, Bulgaria. Chernomorets 1919 Burgas look an ideal candidate for the challenge, starting with decent training facilities and above average youth recruitment coupled with a 22,000 capacity stadium giving us a solid base to work from. We are already fully professional which always helps developing academy graduates early on in a save. The club itself was 'founded' in 2015 following financial struggles of their predecessor Chernomorets Burgas. Interestingly FM seems to have kept the old club's history on the screenshot above even though by rights they are a different club entirely. The Bulgarian second tier has four relegation spots, with a straight 30 game season and no splits or playoffs as far as I can tell. We have the biggest squad of the four promoted sides but with the squad's average age pushing 30 it won't be long before we start to rely on the older players. One small item of concern is that although we have a £8,600 weekly wage budget and decent facilities our ticket prices are £1 and with only 200 season ticket holders I'm not sure how we plan to fund what looks like a high outlay at this level. Edit - I've just noticed that the game is for some reason showing the greyed out in-game editor option on my screen, but it is disabled in my settings. Does anyone know why it's showing as used when it isn't even enabled? Edited January 22, 2023 by officiallydeej

officiallydeej
Thanks @The7Striker. I was annoyed that I didn't push on and finish the challenge in Portugal but we'd stopped progressing and I lost my love for the save. Looking forward to this one and the added challenge of it being a non-completed country provides extra motivation!

They'll ask for the save file as well, but there's not much you can do outside of that.

From what I can work out it's because I was playing on a different save this morning with the editor enabled then set up this one as a new game, which seems to have confused the game into thinking it was used on this save when it wasn't. I've restarted the game and setup a new game again and it's now behaving correctly so just holidaying back through to get Chernomorets again. Edit - Sorted - Restarting the game and starting a new save fixed it, rest of my first post still stands! Riebow
Well, I'm surprised it took as long. We just were terrible. We had 7 points in our first 3 matches and I though we would be better than expected, but our defence was just sooo bad. We had no shot in most games. Up to greener pastures!
Riebow
I decided to move to Bulgaria as well. My girlfriend is Bulgarian and I spent most of my summers in Varna. I reloaded a couple of times and I decided on this squad: Sevlievo Rakovski. They have good facilities for this level. However all my players are on amateur contracts and most of them are not interested in signing new deals... This might be a very short save :-D
Daddy
2023/24 Midseason Review: Off to a real good start and promotion is a real possibility. A good start and good finances here meant I could get some upgrades. Intake Preview: No immediate weaknesses I can see right now. Lacking depth at fullback so it's good that's A rated.
Popular Post ludak
ND Dravinja Slovenske Konjice Season II Squad I Transfers I Finances We were worse this season, but that's because our older players are leaving, and the players entering the academy are just bad. I was hyped when the preview came, but not so much when the players came in. Balazic Kidric Jevsenak Not one of them has the ability to play and that is what worries me so far. Two intakes, not one solid player that could make the first team. That's all for this one!
Popular Post Brentmeister
After a few failed attempts and work getting in the way of good fm time, I'm back again to give Austria another go. I noticed a few people starting Austrian saves so I thought I'd get involved. I reloaded a few times hoping to get a team from Vienna to test the theory that populous cities produce more good players and after a few reloads, Wiener Sportklub popped up. Legal stuff I'll be back soon with a season 1 update. I'm half way through so hoping this one sticks. Popular Post fries
Premier League 2039/40 (season 17) Season Summary An okay season. I manage to win the 7th position again for the third season in a row. And thus qualified for Europe League. From winning Europe League last season we were qualified for the Champions League. The league phase went okay. We played well, especially at home, and ended in the 18th position. But in the first knock out stage, we lost over 2 games to PSG. Before the season I changed the tactics to a classic 4-3-3 from a 4-4-2 (diamond). Owen was the first choice forward and scored 21 goals. Not many players was spectacular this season. But the young offensive player Hall did very well. 12 goals and 5 assists. In the winter break, I sent a few young first team players out on loan. Thus a few players with game time this season is not shown here. We were out of both cups and I didn't believe we could beat PSG in CHL. Howourth now has the wonderkid description. I had 2 players on the NXGN list, Hall, that won, and last year's winner, Jensen. I think Carle would have been on the list if I did not loan him out. He, unfortunately, did not play much on his loan. Hall also won the Young Player of the Year award. I think I need to display my award winner: The youth intake preview looked very promising. 5 stars. And great ratings in a lot of positions. The intake was okay. Jankovic was the best and he is a model citizen. I am a bit disappointed with the number of top talents. But I like the many different nationalities. Jankovic was the best player of the intake. I am not really sure what to do with him, as I no longer use AMs. In the winter break, I sold Malley and Douglas. They have been an important part of the team for many years, but are not good enough any more. Malley has played 473 first team games and Douglas has played 375. They both came through in the intake in my last season of Vanarama National, and were both regulars in my first and only season in League Two. Finances and Upgrades After the season my training facilities were downgraded. But the board was happy to upgrade again. Next season Next season, I hope to develop my young players in Europe League. I need it as I am far from being a top 5 team.
