Neo_Geo
Loaded up Scotland to see if the issue still existed and it does, was all ready to start with East Kilbride. I'm guessing its probably going to make things a lot harder that you essentially have to have all your youth players in the main squad otherwise they get zero training as you can't get staff. For a challenge that focuses on youth development it seems like a complete blocker......shame.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Energie Cottbus - Season 2024/25 (Season 2) - 2. Bundesliga Squad | Transfers | Finances A very good first season in the 2nd tier. We were predicted dead last by a mile, and without much hope of staying up. But aside from a few matches, I'm looking at you Heidenheim, we rarely got blown away. So we started to adjust to the level here and found we can deal with it. I've even slowly started to introduce a few of the youngsters this season, though they still need a bit of time to grow into the team. At least it allows me to dump out a few of the poor backups we had initially. Since my only goal this season was to stay up, I can firmly say we blew that out of the water from an early stage, and we were actually in a potential fight for promotion, though quite unlikely, until the final match. We drew at home to Nürnberg, but a win could have given us the 3rd place if Arminia Bielefeld had lost by more goals and we had won by a lot. I'm still more than happy with the season, and I hope for the same next season. I also manage to get more improvements accepted. Also, the new stadium is underway. DFB Pokal: We beat Ingolstadt before we lost to Hannover in the 2nd round. 2nd Team: They only played friendlies this season. U19s In the U19 Division 1 North/Northeast they finished 12th. Youth Cup: They beat Hamburg before they lost to Karlsruhe in the 2nd round. Youth intake: Trophy cabinet 3. DumbGeraffe
25/26 Season Review (NORDICBET LIGA) I have reached the first major roadblock of the save in the second division. The team finished with the lowest GD in the league and averaging just under 3 goals allowed per game, but we did just enough to survive. Also, we finally generated profit and I finally got a request accepted. Assuming we survive again next year I'd say the future is looking pretty bright! Spoiler Newgen Review Spoiler I've got a literal corpse (who might retire at any moment) playing GK, so I need one of my youngsters to improve quickly or things might get rough. Popular Post Academia_FM
Heliopolis SC - Season 1 We easily beat the Egyptian third division, taking the title and promotion. In the cup we went through the qualifying rounds but we lost in the first round against Wadi of the first division. We lose a lot of important players during the season, something that I hope will end with the club turning professional. This year's youths are really bad and none are worth a review.
officiallydeej
I probably should save this for the end of season report but I can't help myself... we've come so far from that first season at this level when we performed miracles to stay up on the last day.

Both of them didn't want to stay at JJK any longer, so this was the best I could get for them. The money is very welcome, and in both deals we managed to get a 50% clausule. And I think we will get some nice money in the future if Haglund 23e is developing well at Napoli. With this money we are finally able to upgrade our Youth Facilities for the first time! Popular Post Academia_FM
Heliopolis SC - Season 2 Our first season in the second division ended with a reasonable sixth place. With only one promotion available we will have to improve a lot to beat the teams that come from the first division. Another season with youngsters without quality, except for our first diamond from the academy, Taha El Sayed. Although his natural position is as a right back, he has all the numbers to think that he will be a better central defender.
WhiteCat33
UGHHHHHH. I hate this YF Bug. This happened at the end of the season I just finished (2056) and I've played through the transfer window and still the option won't return. It's been between 7 - 9 years between board takeovers for my club and my last one happened 4 years ago. Not sure I have the patience to play 3-5 more years with this board to just roll the dice for the 'chance' to get back to just 'Great' Youth Facilities. The club also has an 18k person waiting list for season tickets and our stadium capacity is just 12k (8k seated) and the board refuses to build a new stadium. I probably need to win the Euro Cup or something for the reputation bump but i feel scummy throwing Champions League QF to get the easier games. Especially with performances like this in the league phase: While I won't be deleting the save I think I'll be pausing Luxembourg with that faint hope that SI will finally address this bug. I've got great youth prospects right now, but I'll be losing the stars in 3 years when their contracts run out and if I can't get YF upgraded by then I have doubts I can replace them. I've started a save in Kosovo w/ transfers as well as played a few seasons Youth Only in Martinique so not sure which will become my focus. Neo_Geo
@WhiteCat33 stupid board I had a couple of thousand waiting list at chiasso but18k is just ridiculous, they clearly don’t know how to run a football club. The youth facilities issue is just incredibly annoying, in my opinion it should always be visible as you should always be able to request it,,if they don’t agree then fine. Such a shame to invest that much time in it for it to go that way, definitely take a breather from it and come back later

Edit: @Neo_Geo yeah its incredibly frustrating here's the screenshot of the supporters. We have under 1k season ticket holders but could have 20k if the board weren't totally incompetent its insane. This is just the 'final straw' for me with this save as the db is wonky with the league registration for the domestic clubs and it seems that the way this club draws its youth intake while I get the cool storyline of POR players I won't ever get an affiliate player as its been over 10 years now with youth affiliates and I've yet to have one come through. Yeah, I'm pushing stuff when I can, but I don't work for SI, so I don't have much more sway than anyone else. Anyway, I can see why they have certain clubs less willing to focus on youths than others and stuff, but I just really think it should be visible for users. Instead of just not showing the option to ask, I'd be much more willing to accept it if we could ask and the chairman said "we don't need any more as we don't want to focus on youth players" and rejected it. I mean, I think having loads of money and success should factor into being more willing to accept it anyway, but at least give feedback as to why something is not possible to do. Seeing you having the "develop youth players" culture, I think that should counteract any low youth importance for the chairman as the club culture should impact the logical decisions. That's my view of it anyway, and I don't know if SI will do something about it or not, but we can't do much more than report it. Anyway, I relayed the file name and hopefully they'll take a look.
JAwtunes
I'm having the same issue but am on fm22 still. I'm in Wales, so licenced league. In my case we have to maintain the best youth facilities in the county and develop youth from our academy. The board sanctioned max youth recruitment and junior coaching ages ago (we're spending multiple millions each season for this) but youth facilities are stuck at Good with no option to even speak to the board. The response from SI shows they don't fully grasp the issue here, but glad it's back on their radar.

Popular Post Winski
Jyväskylän Jalkapalloklubi (JJK)Season review Season 4 | 2026 League table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers |Youth intake| Club overview | Manager Profile A very good season for us. We managed to win the league for the 2nd time in a row! We still lost 7 games, but most of them were at the end of the season when most of our players were very tired due to the European games. The European season starts just before the Finnish season ends, so sometimes we had to play 3 matches in one week. That was something we couldn't manage, so we lost some matches we would probably have won when playing at full strength. But the good thing is: we qualified for the Conference League League Phase! Our European adventure started in the First Qual. Round of the Champions League, where we lost against Qarabag. Next we met FC Prishtina (Kosovo) and we won both matches. In the last round, the 4th Qual. Round, we met Glentoran (Northern Ireland). We also won both matches against them, and so we qualified for the Conference League League Phase! We already played two matches: we won away against Viking, while we played 1-1 at home against Maccabi tel-Aviv. So a very good start for us! Best players(without those who has been sold) this season were Juha Eerola 24c, Arttu Leivonen, Fred Diakité 23k, Daniil Konov 23f and Erik Autio 24g. Transferwise we had a very tough season. So looking at that, the fact we won the league surprised me a bit, because we had to sell some very good players. The good thing is that we got a LOT of money from these transfers, but the bad thing is that we sold six players from our starting XI. So we had to build a winning team again, with some very young players. With the money we could start upgrades to our Training- and Youth Facilities. Both upgrades will be ready withing a couple of weeks. Most notable players that left us were Kalle Haglund 23a, Joonas Tuomela 23h, Janne Eriksson 23e, Jarkko Nyberg 24f, Risto Pietilä 24e and Ilkka Jokela 23i. Youth intake The preview was a good one, with 3 A's. The intake itself, again with Tim Sparv(my U20 manager) as the one who's responsible for the intakes, was a very good one. A bag full of Elite Talents, with Ville Kavén 26b as the cream of the crop. I'll give him a place in my first team squad right away. WhiteCat33
So while I've had the Augsburg-Leverkusen match on I decided to download the 6-Tier Germany DB and sim a year. I've always liked HSV since I went to a 2006 WC match at the Volkparkstadion so I decided to look at teams in the 2 Hamburg Landesligas. Of the 4 promotion choices I get FC Elazig Spor Hamburg and if we take a look at their squad there emerges a theme: Do I dare do another Foreign Intake save? At least this time I'll be in a major nation and the direction of the foreign regens is better.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
surprise surprise i couldn't resist the temptation: Had to bring forward our long-time club captain and legend from ASL Porto as Mr Manager. In my LUX save he was just starting a head coaching career with clubs as he retired 3 seasons ago. I'm going to try to get 5 at the back formations to work for this save instead of defaulting to my traditional 4-4-2. Team starts with players for every position, but we have excessive winger depth. So I can say for certain this is the first time I've had a Clay Surface field, and this is true to life: Sportplatz Wendenstraße 164 - Stadium in Hamburg-Borgfelde (europlan-online.de) Sad to say the other teams the site says share the field either no longer exist or aren't in the game. Hopefully my computer will be able to handle the lower leagues of Germany. For leagues loaded: obviously, I did not anticipate a perfect foreign team to appear to take-over so Turkey will be added after the first year and I'll be dropping Austria because it's not super relevant which should balance out. Let the Adventure Begin!

Daddy
2027/28 Season Review: I was hoping to take a step forward and wound up doing a little worse. The league was very tight and dropping points last day took us from potentially winning the league to finishing fifth. In the Conference League we also took a step back and didn't make it to the league stage. No real discernable reason why, so hopefully just a little underperformance. Actually, I forgot when writing the above paragraph that we lost our wonderkid striker. He was a 0.66 goals a match player so there's a fair amount of goals that went away. Youth Intake: Another quality intake with lots of potential on the horizon. 2028/29 Season Preview: We already are knocked out of the conference league. Bad draw and lost on penalties after barely even making it there due to a red card. That means the only thing to worry about is the league. I expect to be in the champions group and qualify for some form of Europe.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Energie Cottbus - Season 2025/26 (Season 3) - 2. Bundesliga Squad | Transfers | Finances A remarkably similar season to last, in which we are just outside of the fight for a spot to go up, but never quite there. And to be honest, that's fine. The squad is mostly 3. liga qualify, if even that, so I think I would be slaughtered in the Bundesliga if I went up now. So I'm more than happy to stay here longer. We ended this season with one point less, 1 place higher, same amount of goal scored, and a few less conceded. So I'd say we are are pretty consistent! I'm mostly happy about how things are going, and more and more of the youngsters are part of the first team. I'm slowly replacing the worst of the original players with the youth players, and then have them slowly work their way into the first team. The main one so far has been Steffen Meyer 24c. He is becoming a rotational option in some of the attacking roles, but so far he has either been great or horrible when he plays, but mostly horrible. Still, I need to blood them, so I try to keep faith in the best ones. Oh, and the new stadium is still about a year away, if it's finished on time. I also manage to get more improvements accepted. DFB-Pokal: We beat Sprockhövel before we lost to Köln in the 2nd round. 2nd Team: They only played friendlies this season. U19s In the U19 Division 1 North/Northeast they finished 9th. Constantine
Since ludak finished this challenge with OFK Beograd first, I've decided to wrap up my own take on Romanticari (1 league title, 0 cups, nothing to write home about as far as European competitions are concerned in seven seasons) and start a game I wanted for a long while. Took me a whole day of simulating, a whole bloody day to get them promoted two levels up but... Here we go. I guess this could count as San Marino challenge, albeit I won't be touching NT before finishing up this one first. That is, if I survive past season 1. Our squad is dire. Dire! Eccellenza level players in Serie C, because AI suck at transfers. Though they did sign us two strikers, two deals I can't cancel. Facilities... As good as I expected. polesetter1
Do you also have problem with red cards after the update? It's insane. My players have received 8 red cards in 14 games. My career is coming to the end, because of that.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
FC Elazig Spor Hamburg Season 1 2023-24: LandesLiga Hamburg/Hansa (Tier 6*) Competitions League: LL Hamburg/Hansa Even without a natural striker our 3 CAMs were a fantastic unit up front with 24, 15 & 12 Goals each and that includes my best CAM missing 9 games with a broken foot. Spoiler Cup: Verbandspokal Hamburg Out in the 2nd round on penalties to one of the better teams in our league. Fine by me Spoiler Squad Our minimal team did great this first season. There were 6 players with a 7.0 or higher rating in the league which includes our star CB & two CAMs Transfers Youth Academy HOYD: No good HOYDs want to join us so like in LUX I'm starting with my GM finding players. He's not the worst being Determined with Level-Headed MH. Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: No surprise its all A ratings, but will only be a 4* intake, which I found to regularly be the case when using a GM. Spoiler Youth Intake: This intake looks a lot worse than it really is as I have 3 first team players skewing the star ratings down significantly. 1 Gold Star is ready for First XI. What I'm actually most excited about is that the base nation for this club is actually Germany so we should get a nice mix of random secondary nationalities over the save with our first being Russia. Spoiler YI Player Highlights: Spoiler We got a perfect lower league PF in Güngör Mandıralı. This is the position where we didn’t have a natural player this season so the fact its our best intake is just awesome luck Some CAM depth is welcome And our best personality of the intake is a WB, but that’s about all he has going for him And a second PF is what finishes out players with at least 1* CA Academy Data: I'll be tweaking what I did in LUX for some different data summaries for this save. I'll save introducing this for the second season. Head Coach Club was actually very generous with coaching badges as I finished 2 and they just sent me out for my 3rd Spoiler Club No Upgrades, we are broke Spoiler Manager Thoughts Gotta love adding a trophy to the cabinet right off the bat. Once we secured promotion, I could give players part-time contracts, so all our good starters are locked in for 3-5 years. Only blip is this happened after the youth intake so I'll have to deal with poaching of my first crop of players when they turn 17. The team is light on CBs, but there is a tall DM who I plan to move back next season and with our new PF I'm excited to see how we can do in the Hamburg Oberliga! Popular Post grff
Tutankhamun: 2024/25 Season Review A positive follow up season as we held our own in second tier. For a long time we were in with a shout of back to back promotions but a string of bad results after the winter break meant we eventually had to settle for 4th place. We made our Egyptian Cup debut where we were knocked out in the second round. Player stats were very encouraging until a poor last third of the season. Our form dipped and player stats took a hit. Youth intake was previewed as excellent but the reality was a flock of poor recruits. Transfers Season history Aim for next season Improve on the 4th place finish of this season Somehow attempt to minimise the debt Release sub-standard youngsters
Popular Post ludak
ND Dravinja Slovenske Konjice Squad I Transfers I Finances This was the best news we got this entire save. Total money that we got for him was just over 9m which should help us improve everything. We weren't great in Europe I have to admit. I expected a bit more, but it is what it is. We were so close. but we were a man short from the 15th minute as our right back got a red card and we were holding on barely till the 116th minute when our other right back gave away a stupid penalty and that was it for the cup. I really, really wasn't that good. But the league is equal, and it mostly takes around 70 points to win the title. This year Maribor did a bit worse than most years, and it was another chance for someone else to win it. This time it was us. The title itself felt good, but what felt even better is the fact that we will probably reach the group phase of a European competition. So far Mlinarič seams as our top prospect, and I hope to see an improvement in our intakes which seems crazy because we had 15 elite prospects in our last intake, but from those 15 maybe 2 will be players of some quality. Krajnc Furlan Well, Pušnik retired and it was to be expected that no man can replace him. This is our first intake without him and it's ***** compared to the ones we had with him in charge, but the future looks bright as we improve our facilities more and more. That's all for now lads! It has been a great run so far, and I know we are going places from here. Till the next one!
Deicide
Can someone tell me how I can make sure my affiliate club is playing my youngsters? They show interest in my player but rarely make a bid for them. I'm trying to loan them players that are good for their division to hopefully help them get promoted but they are either not bidding for them, or only want them as squad players when I offer them out myself. Daddy
2028/29 Midseason Review: After the disappointment of crashing out of Europe early the team is playing well in league and in good position down the second half. Intake Preview: Little underwhelming, but Center Mid is a good spot to have an A rating. We're going to lose another top player this year as he feels he's outgrown the club.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary Well, we won the league again, which is nice. Almost without me noticing as I wasn't paying much attention to the league. Champions League is all now! We did ok in Champions League but we start to get tired and injuries creep in around March which doesn't help us at all. Even resting players in the league and lowering training doesn't help too much. We did ok in the league section - a win at Rangers in the last game, who we beat 5-1 in a pre-season friendly at Ibrox, would have put us straight through to the last 16. But as it was we drew and had to go into the knockout. Leeds are still ludicrously strong atm (14 Premier league titles in last 20 years, 4 Champions League wins too) so to beat them twice was a nice sign Players Lorenzo Lippi 40K - I know I keep going on about this lad but he was a 2 star potential youth when he first showed up. I signed him just to make up the numbers! and now, at 35, he had his best season for years, won MVP Serie A player of the year and is sitting on 626 goals in 747 appearances for us. He is showing bno signs of slowing or giving up either! what a legend! If anyone deserves a CL medal, it's him Giovanni Moscardelli 51A - poorest season yet from our resident superstar. Saying that, he still scored 40 in 48 games. in a three man attack! Sebastian Ramos 58A - last seasons top graduate. Only 16 but looked so good I gave him a chance. As did the Uruguay national coach! still 16, and a full international already! Youth And another potential superstar rolls of the production line! I stuck him in the first team for the last 3 games of the season too and he looked good! Good personality, amazing starting attributes, potential looking good too. What's not to love? Career it's a long one now

officiallydeej
Chernomorets 1919 Burgas - 2029-30 Season Another good season sees us qualify for the Europa League for the second season in a row. We did finish the main season a lot closer to Levski this year but in truth we never looked like overthrowing them. We ran out of steam in the Championship group and when it became clear I wasn't going to finish anywhere other than second I used the last two games to give some match experience to some of our U19s. All in all another very successful season, made even better by me managing to convince the board to upgrade both facilities, youth coaching and youth recruitment twice each through the season. Hopefully that will be the boost we need to push us into contention for the title in the next few seasons. Ludogorets still have by far the best squad in the league but had an atrocious season, failing to qualify for the top group in the end of season playoffs. We had another good cup run, falling at this semi final phase for the 3rd time in 4 seasons, this time 7-6 on aggregate to Levski Sofia. An incredible maiden season in the Europa League, battling through three qualifying rounds and the group phase before eventually losing narrowly to Athletic Club in the last 16. Eye catching victories over Monaco, Napoli and in the home tie against Athletic Club give me hope that we can compete well in the coming seasons. Interestingly fellow Bulgarian club Levski made it all the way to the final before eventually losing to Newcastle and their world class Brazilian regen 4-0. A small part of me was disappointed we haven't finished 3rd as I think we could have a real go at the Conference League! Our first and currently only full international is on his way to the World Cup! In honesty I'm not sure Dursun would be going if I had the Turkish League loaded but still it's quite an achievement for us at this stage. I now have 7 Bulgarians in the U21 side and you would think it's online a matter of time before 1 or more make the step up into the full national team, which is currently dominated by a mix of foreign based and Levski players. Although I'm happy with this intake I wish my HOYD would start finding some full backs and more wingers! We are absolutely stacked now down the spine of the team but very short out wide, particularly at full back. I'm loathe to make a change after so many incredible intakes but I might have to bite the bullet this time around. Not much to report in terms of transfer out this season. I would have liked to keep Asenov given the wide player shortage but he wasn't ready to break into the first team and became unsettled after Cherno More put a bid in for him. I let him to and he hasn't played a game for them so far, so it probably wasn't his best career choice. The European run has alleviated our financial concerns and even after two full sets of upgrades we finished the season over £4m in the black.
