Popular Post libbyshuss
Aachen - Germany 2037/38 - Bundesliga Season Summary I went back to the classic 4-2-3-1 for the start of the season. 5 winless games later and I went back to the 4-6-0 that served us so well last season. And it seemed to spark an uptake in form that quickly took us out of danger. After Christmas it was a nice mid-table stroll. Players I'm having real trouble finding any teams to take any of my youth players on loan. I had around 10 ready for some first team football that I couldn't find a move for. So I decided the only thing to do was rotate them in and out of the first team instead. And it worked really well! Patrick Forster 34A is the star. Plays as a secondary striker in the AMC position, behind the non-existent striker! He also became the first of our youth player to make the NxGN list! Obviously he wants to leave us for a better team but what can you do? Lukasz Grzelak 36C. I don't usually like to play youngsters as young as him in the first team but he looked a real talent. He made the step up with aplomb, playing Michael Burger 34F. The most pleasing of the lot! he was rubbish as a striker but great on the left wing. To see an F rated player do this well is a right proper bonus! Lorenzo Drago 35A. This lad better be on the NxGN list next year! plays AMR and now has a ridiculous valuation! his numbers weren't bad either - 7 goals and 8 assists Ionut Serban 36A can play MC or DC, looks more like a future DC but ended up playing MC more due to me really not having many MCs. Matteo Piermattei 34C. Snuck up quietly this lad, probably because he's a left back! Just went about his business really, really well. And that ends our golden generation! Very excited to see what these lads can achieve over the next few years! Youth so what about this seasons youth intake? Well, another lovely 5 star preview! Intake looked nice as well, with some lovely 2 star CA and 4 star PA players Not sure which of these two is the best so I tossed a coin. Do Rego got the B but with any luck they'll both make it. They look good! Career We're getting better!
XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2024 (Season 2) - OBOS-ligaen Squad | Transfers | Finances A very promising season for our first foray in the 2nd tier, especially against mostly professional sides. That said, our position does flatter us a bit, as we snatched a few places at the end with a late win streak. Still, I'm very happy with how the season went, we were never really close to the relegation zone, and that's pretty much all I wanted for this season. One small pain was that we had to let one of the better players in the side, Sondre Spieler Halvorsen, go for a pittance, since his contract was running out and he didn't want to talk about a new one. Quite annoying, but it's part and parcel of this challenge. The youngsters didn't make much impact this season, but quite a few of them got some matches for us over the season. I'll likely try to involve a few more of them next season, if they are up for it. One negative thing is that we had to take up a £500k loan to fit in undersoil heating to fit the league requirements, and now the board think we are in financial hell, even if we have more than the loan amount in the bank. Thus they are refusing all my requests for improvements. Guess the chairman is frugal to a fault... The intake this season was good, but not amazing. Still a couple of talents worth following. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Sandefjord, Eidsvold, and Bærum before we lost to Start in the 4th round. Around the world 2nd team They only played friendlies this season. U19s They won the Norwegian U19 Oslo 1 this season and qualified for the promotion playoff. There they lost to Haugesund in the semi final. Junior NM: They lost to Fredrikstad in the 1st round. Popular Post glennuk
Badak Lampung - Season Five - Indonesian League Two - End of Year Review League - 1st (promoted as Champions!) - INVINCIBLES In my last update we were undefeated in the First Round of the league (18 games), we continued that trend and topped our Second Phase group with 2 wins and 2 draws. League Final The league final can feel a bit anticlimactic as win or lose you are promoted. However we finished our undefeated season with a win via penalties, even managing to do so with two late red cards and 2 Bekasi City disallowed goals. So that's the end of the update right??? Indonesian Cup The first season we have truly managed to concentrate on the Indonesian cup.....and we WON IT!!! We were by far the better side over the two legs and won with a 4-3 aggregate victory. Thankful that Nathan (YP03A) who hasn't been allowed to play in the league for the last two years, was able to play in the cup competition, where he was the X Factor! To be honest I wasn't concentrating on the cup at all, until we got to the quarter finals. With the league going so well, I thought, let's just play our best team. We did and we won. Perhaps the most crazy achievement of my FM career. Never did I imagine winning the cup as a League Two side! This also shows that perhaps we have closed the gap in class between us and the better League One sides. Nathan (YP03A) also won the MVP of the Indonesian Cup CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!! By winning the cup we also qualify for the Asian Champions League! I am not expecting us to make a splash in this yet, as it is dominated by Australian, South Korean and Middle Eastern teams. BUT it is progress and will hopefully help with our club reputation and give us some vital experience in the biggest stage of them all. The Squad We had some great performances, but of course Ismail Hardianto (YP04A) was key. With 30 goals in 32 league games and a 7.22 average rating he really stood out as someone who could score at will in this league. Hopefully he can continue to improve and light up League One too. Nathan (YP03A) only played in the cup games, but showed that he is a cut above anyone we have with a ridiculous 8 goals in 11 games as a Winger and a 7.55 average rating. The Finances We have done well to keep in the black most of the season. The prize money from winning the Indonesian Cup was particularly useful and hopefully that will go to continue the upgrades to the club. First Indonesian (National Team) Call Up Bima Yulianto (YP04D) has been great at the heart of the defence all year and has deservedly got the call up to the Indonesian National team! Worst News Ever!!!!!! - NATHAN (YPO3A) In what is perhaps the worst FM related news I have ever received, even though his contract had a year left on it (he wouldn't sign a new one as I wasn't in League One yet...) Nathan (YP03A) left the club. I really do not know why, it says he was contracted until May 2029, but he left in May 2028..... Just as I was finally in League One and he could play in the league games.... Probably one of the most deflating feelings I have had in this challenge! He quickly got snapped up by a SPO of Brazil! Popular Post Daddy
2035/36 Season Review: Well after another brief try in England, I went back to my Israel save. No real issues in the league phase which put us into the Championship group. Unfortunately, we dropped too many points and did not retain our league title. We still qualify for the Champions League but have to go through playoffs to make the competition proper. One of the toughest draws I've seen and it went as expected. Disappointing we couldn't sneak an upset in somewhere. Despite not needing the money I accepted a transfer offer for a good player. I think the combination of getting crushed in the Champions League and unhappy players from me not letting them go led to some morale manager issues which may have cost us the league. For a season or two I'll experiment with selling players that meet the sell value promise system with as much as I can get over their value. Youth Intake: A decent-looking preview, but an exceptional intake. I'm really excited for the goalie as we've been lacking since my last good one left. 2036-37 Season Preview: In the league, I expect to challenge for the league title. That's what's now expected of me as well. The league draw is much more manageable this season. It's still a very challenging draw, but I do believe we have a shot at qualifying for the knockout.
grff
Otahuhu United AFC: 2029 Season Review Promotion again! Four promotions in five years sees us reach the top flight. Turns out I was counting the championship group stage as a tier so I've been constantly thinking I'm a tier below where we actually were The title was clinched despite a loss and we celebrated in front of no fans and what looked liked some kind of distribution centre. Player stats were pleasing as we were consistently good throughout the season Youth intake was pretty terrible as we took on just two players, however, they are first team quality so will be blood straightaway. Transfers Season history Aims for next season Cope with top flight football Look to get back into a positive bank balance Commit key players to semi-pro contracts

If that is the case, and someone has made it, then that would be fine to use. If not, well, then Guadeloupe is not eligible for this challenge, I'm afraid. @DazRTaylor did create a thread for nations who are not eligible for this challenge though, so if Guadeloupe does not fit the criteria her, it might fit there:
glennuk
Badak Lampung - Season Six - Indonesian League One - Youth Preview & Intake Youth Preview An intake that doesn't promise much except for an abundance of AMCs, which I don't usually play. Hopefully the one to keep an eye on is a good one. Full Back and Winger is where we struggle most, so I was hoping for more in that area, but perhaps the C grade at full back will at least be servicable. Youth Intake Quality and quantity. Well this is a lot better than expected. Two good AMCs with one of them being VERY good. FIVE players above 2.5* CA (we still have some 2* CA players in our first 11). So much better than The nationalities are all Indonesian again (no more Nathan (YP03A) - random Brazilians). Some good personalities, but still a lot of unambitious which is frustrating. I know it takes time to get to the point where you can see the majority of the youth coming through with good personalities, but not sure how I will get there, when there is a VERY limited selection of HOYD that will work in Indonesia and those that do are mostly balanced at best. Top 3 - Youth Intake 6 Budi Haryanto (YP06A) - A great player at this level and at this age. The 12, 12, 15 on Dribbling, Finishing and First touch is very nice. He will probably retrain as an Advanced Forward and possibly a Mezalla, as Ismail Hardianto (YP04A) is virtually undropable with his 30 goals in 32 games. The Fairly Ambitious personality is a decent one too. Really excited with this one and think that he will make an impact straight away. Ardy Wahyu (YP06B) - Another promising player in a position we need strength and depth. Being able to play either LB or RB is very useful. I am a bit concerned about his low dribbling rate and relatively poor physical, but hope that he can improve despite the Unambitious personality. Wanda Bahri (YP06C) - He doesn't have the clearest route to a starting position due to my current strength on the left wing, BUT he is professional and has some good physicals which could serve him well. The concern this time is more his relatively poor technical ability. I will try to give him some appearances off the bench to see if he can develop both in his training (I know this is more important in U18s) and in the occasional sub appearance.
Popular Post Libertine13
2036/37 (Season 14) The season started off on a sour note as I failed to get our best defender to sign a new deal. Daryl Polden 32D eventually signed for rivals Cliftonville on a free. This left a massive hole in my defence that I wasn't sure we'd be able to fill. I had a decent prospect in Dane Brennan 34K who's coming back from a decent spell with a club in the Championship 2, but the level there isn't very good at all. I also had Trevor O'Conner 35B, who had been our back up centre half the previous season but hasn't really got any stand out attributes. Europa League; Spoiler We had qualified for the Europa League 2nd Qual Round, which was a big step up from last seasons Europa Conference campaign. Unfortunately we were drawn against Hibernian of Scotland, a tricky looking tie. And it was. We were completely outclassed in the first leg away from home. In fact we were lucky to only concede the 2 goals. Going into the 2nd leg without much hope we were far more competitive, if a little fortunate to have got the tie to 2-2 after the 180 minutes! Though all that hard work was for nothing as 2 minutes into extra time we conceded and had no answer for Hibs, so we disappointingly crashed out of the Europa League at the first hurdle! All wasn't lost though as we had a chance of making it to the Europa Conference league where we had a fantastic run last season... that was until we were drawn with Southampton and dispatched without fuss over the 2 legs. 6-2 on aggregate. The worst thing about our early exit from continental football was the lack of any prize money! We got an actual pittance from the Europa League game and nothing from the Conference one! Domestically we were very good, only losing to Linfield and Larne before Christmas. We'd filled the void left by Polden 32D as Brennan 34K and O'Connor 35B stepped up to the challenge. The two Irishmen rotating to line up alongside Conor Gracey 33A at the back. However it was our frontmen that had given us such a good first part to the season. Adam Gorman 34A had put behind him his below average season and had hit the ground running, he was unstoppable up top, with Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A having his best season from the right. All this good form brought with it major interest from a good handful of top clubs... Adam Gorman 34A interest; Spoiler Come the January transfer window our star boy had garnered so much interest and had clearly had his head turned. I was able to hold the suiters at bay for a while but the board stepped in to accept a bid from Arsenal. I was holding out for much more cash than this, considering the lad had 4 years left on his contract and there were so many interested parties! So I offered him out for more cash and obviously the 50% sell on clause and obviously there were many takers. Luckily he had rejected the Arsenal offer to move to Newcastle. I did put in the deal that it would be completed at the end of the season, which looks like the buying club just offers him back on loan, annoying. The best thing about him choosing Newcastle over the Arsenal deal specifically was that I was then able to cancel the deal as the board hadn't accepted that one! I was determined to keep him for the remainder of the season at least! Sneaky. Adam Gorman 34A attributes; Without the distraction of European football and the added bonus of our first full season as a professional club it looked like our previous issues with player fatigue and having to rotate heavily every so often were a thing of the past. We never let up, in fact we went on an unbeaten run all the way to the league split where we found ourselves in one hell of a position, not even a broken leg for Gracey 33A and damaged cruciate ligaments for last seasons breakout youngster Grant Dorman 35G knocked us off our stride... Title push; Spoiler We done it! 7 points clear with 5 games to go, not even Arsenal could bottle this league title. We usually tail off after the split, but not this season, with the main prize up for grabs and one hand on the trophy we finished with style. Beating the points total record on our way! Youth Intake; Spoiler I've never seen such a bad preview, especially with our level of academy coaching and recruitment. The HoYD was immediately sacked after this! No real stand outs from the intake and barely any decent personalities. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2025 (Season 3) - OBOS-ligaen Squad | Transfers | Finances This season was pretty similar to last season, and that's a good thing. We are still acclimating to the level, and while we do have a major drawback in still being semi-pro while others are fully professional, we at least are showing we can handle most of the opponents well. Occasionally we get thumped, but it's very rarely now. Even though we finished just outside the playoff spots again, we are still a long way away from realistically gaining promotion, I think. The top teams in this division are clearly at a higher level than us, so we do need more talented youngsters as well as having them develop and improve before we can think about the top tier. For now, we just have to plow along and keep developing and get a better feeling about our level compared to the teams around us. The intake this season was quite nice and some nice personalities to match. I also got a lot of improvements accepted this season, and that should hopefully provide for even better players down the line. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Fram Larvik and Vindbjart before we lost to Kristiansund in the 3rd round. Around the world 2nd team They only played friendlies this season. U19s They retained the Norwegian U19 Oslo 1 this season and again qualified for the promotion playoff. Neo_Geo
EUROPE BECKONS FOR LIMAVADY UNITED More Youth DetailsYouth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review A really pleasing season overall given how it all started so lets talk about the negatives. Our gloriously shortsighted chairperson decided to let THREE of my best players leave the club this year without the ability to protest either: Guba (Elite1) (SC) was the major talking point who left for MFK Tatran Liptovsky Mikulas in a deal worth £55k with 16k after 20 league games, 16k after 10 international appearances, 16k after 20 league goals and 40% of the profit of his next sale. I wanted to keep him for at least another season then look to sell him at the end of 27/28 a year and a half before his contract expired if he wasn't going to sign a new deal. He's showing signs of improving and has played for Slovakia 5 times now so I hope its only a matter of time before he gets a move and hopefully not in Slovakia but to a bigger European league. McVicker (Elite3) (DC) was sold in January window after I had rejected a number of offers Linfield came in with £76k and the chairperson accepted and he was gone on deadline day for our record sale Robinson (Elite4) (AMC/SC) had only played a handful of games and hadn't been playing particularly well, he didn't train well but at the end of last season Glentoran and Linfield wanted him so there must be something about him, so I was working on retraining as a striker when Linfield came in with £50k, 20k after 20 league appearances and 40% of the profit of the next sale which again the chairperson decided was too good to turn down. This was in the January window but not on deadline day. So Guba had gone and I had to figure out whether I needed a formation change or find a new striker partnership and it turned out that Gareth Fishwick (Elite4) with Tony McManus (Elite3) was the pairing I needed with them scoring a combined 38 goals (which when you consider that Guba scored 35 goals in his debut season in the top flight shows just how much his goals have been missed). I also decided to pull the wingers back to MR and ML positions to try and stem the number of goals we were conceding (reduced from 54 to 50 so it worked to an extent I believe). We had actually been stuck in the relegation group positions until match day 12 when we got up to 6th and stayed there until match day 34 when we rose to 5th and then 4th on match day 35. In the last game of the league we were away to 3rd place Glentoran who were a point above us and we managed to get 2-1 in front only to concede 10 minutes from time meaning Glentoran took 3rd place and the European place. From that disappointment we had the final of the North West Cup which we won comfortably 3-1 against Ballinamallard Utd for the first cup win of the save and then with a tired team we played Larne and outplayed for a large part of the Northern Irish Cup final only to give away a penalty in the 86th minute that Mitchell (Elite4) saved to then concede a headed goal in the 93rd minute and missing out on a European place in the process. So it came down to the European places play-off for the 3rd season running and this time we had Dungannon Swifts who we scraped by 1-0 AET before playing Cliftonville (who beat us in the two previous seasons) and managing to win where Wilkinson (Elite4) scored a ridiculous free kick from about 35 yards out. The draw has already been made for the Conference Qualifiers and I have FC Vaduz followed by FF Jaro or KF Vllaznia. The board wouldn't sanction any improvements this year so we remain the same on all fronts. The intake was decent this year with 2 players already in the first team in the shape of the greatly named Francois Geneste (Elite5) and Fiacre Judge (Elite5). We are starting to see some good personalities come through as well as other nationalities which always makes the intakes that bit more exciting. Next Season Aims I'd love a repeat of this season to be honest as European football will hopefully finance the improvements that need to be made to facilities. We are still too far away from Linfield in terms of quality and the points we do get off the teams in the top 6 are a real battle so its going to be a case of grinding through the seasons and hoping for good intakes as I've done as much as I can to this point. Maybe Guba will get a big move and help finance some improvements but so far no teams look interested in him. Having won a cup it's no longer as pressing in my list of things to accomplish (I know there are another 2 cups to win) I just want to focus on finishing as high as possible in the league, developing our talent and trying to make enough money to improve the facilities. Previous Season Summaries For those who are interested I'm going to post the previous season summaries at the end of each one so that it's easier for anyone that sees my save later on and wants to catch up on it (probably not the most interesting save on the go but it's there should anyone want to view them) Appointment Season 1 - Lough41 Championship 8th Season 2 - Lough41 Championship Winners Season 3 - Danske Bank Premiership 6th Season 4 - Danske Bank Premiership 5th

If that is the case, and someone has made it, then that would be fine to use. If not, well, then Guadeloupe is not eligible for this challenge, I'm afraid. @DazRTaylor did create a thread for nations who are not eligible for this challenge though, so if Guadeloupe does not fit the criteria her, it might fit there I might go with the Faroe Islands instead, because for whatever reason they have like 4 divisions, although the 4th one has mainly B/C/D teams in it. I think Guadeloupe did have 3 divisions last time I checked, although they might've only had two, I forgot honestly.

glennuk
Badak Lampung - Season Six - Indonesian League One - Mini Update - Asian Champions League So due to unexpectedly winning the Indonesian Cup as a League Two side, we got put into the Asian Champions League Playoff. A one leg playoff game, away, against Australian, Central Coast Mariners. They were clearly a class above us. We have quite a way to go. Jason Cummings is just one of those players that even though I can't see all his attributes, he is just a class above. Asian Confederation Cup - ASEAN Zone So after losing the playoff we got put into the Asian Confederation Cup - ASEAN Zone. In a group of 4, against a Singaporean, Cambodian and Myanmar team. Other News Another upgrade! Hoping this will help continue to produce the best youth in the country. Junior Coaching - Excellent to Exceptional! First Indonesian Cap Bima Yulianto (YP04D) got his first cap (he had been called up a few times but not played) and becomes my first International Player!

DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2027/28 The Spartans Again, it wasn't a great preview: The intake was ok I guess though it could of been better.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2027/28 The Spartans Season Summary We finally secured promotion though we did it the hard way via the promotion playoffs. We were rubbish in the cups, however. Season Details League Table - We were challenging for the title until the final two months though it is pleasing to once again qualify for the promotion playoffs. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We lost our consistency post Christmas and endured our now regular slump in form. Promotion Playoffs - Having lost the first leg of the final at home by three goals, I had no hope going into the second leg. A masterful comeback though and we overturned the deficit by winning by four goals to three on aggregate and sealing promotion. Scottish Cup - A home defeat by Hamilton Academical of the Championship saw the club crash out at the second round stage. Premier Sports Cup - We once again finished third in our group and were thus eliminated at the first hurdle. SPFL Trust Trophy - We were very poor in losing away to Livingston Reserves in the second round. Friendlies - It was another mixed bag of results. Squad - We continue to improve. Squad Dynamics - This is as good as it gets. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - There were no player sales this year though a few did depart on free transfers as well as the normal plethora of youngsters going out on loan for some much needed football. Youth Candidates - Striker Kenzi Reynolds YP28E69 is the best prospect out of a reasonable intake. Finances - We lost money this year and some player sales may be required to balance the books. Key Players Ryan Watterson YP24F6 - The Irish central defender was our best player once again. Brendan Winton YP24J10 - It was another good goalscoring season from our striker. Scott Wilson YP24G7 - The left back, in his first season as an automatic selection, had a good season. Willie Robertson YP24B2 - Playing in central midfield, he continues to enjoy life at the club. Sofiane Rahmani YP25A17 - The Algerian Under 20 international goalkeeper enjoyed a fine first season as first choice. Next Season Just survive. Anything else would be a bonus. Popular Post Riebow
Arras FA Season Review (41/42): Les Boyaux Rouges League: This was the season we competed with the big boys. With 4 games to go, we were tied at the top with PSG with them having the better goal difference. Monaco followed on only 3 points and also Nimes had an outside chance to the title. The whole of France is cheering for the plucky underdogs against the oil money from Qatar, but can they produce the unimaginable? Spoiler 2 games to go, both me and PSG win our games (them with a last minute 1-0 victory over Lens), while Monaco is losing points. It looks like a 2 horse race for the title. Unfortunately the goal difference is still very much in their favour. Spoiler Both schedules are pretty favourable. We play Metz at home (16th) and Nantes away (8th). They play Troyes away (9th) and Chatouroux at home (11th). We manage to squeak a 1-0 victory over Metz while PSG scores 2 late goals to come away with a victory over Troyes. It's all coming down to the wire! Spoiler 33 games and the only thing separating us and the Evil Empire are a measly 5 goals. Will we achieve the impossible? Will be knock off Mordor and become champions of France? We start our game poorly as surely jitters have an effect on our star defender Sorel Kerim who knocks the ball past our own goalkeeper to give Nantes an early lead after 14 minutes. This is the time to show what we're made of, to display our resiliency and our grit. Sure enough, just before half time Paupol Malango (monsieur 19 determination himself) escapes from the right flank, cuts inside and hits the equalizer. It's 1-1 at half time. Not daring to watch the score of the PSG game, we go into the 2nd half with a new sense of purpose. In the 2nd half we take the game to Nantes, but without much success initially. Until minute 71! Paupol Malango, again, drives into the box, only to be stopped illegally by a Nantes defender. Penalty says the ref and who am I to argue? Basile The fox De Vos is our normal penalty taker, but he was just taken off. The back up penalty taker is... our goalkeeper Kemal Kebbal. They said I was crazy, a madman, for letting our goalkeeper take penalties. The Ass Man pleaded with me, telling me that he was terrible at taking penalties. I said: look, he has 10 for penalties, look around our squad, outside De Vos we have nobody above an 8! He's taking them and that's it! Did he miss a last minute penalty at Saint-Etienne, that might end up being the reason we're not crowned champions tonight? Sure, but let bygones be bygones. I have faith! So with the hopes and dreams of the city of Arras, nay the North, nay the entire country, on his shoulders he kicks the ball in the top right corner. It's 2-1!! Still, 2-1 is still to close to my liking, a bigger lead would give us some more breathing room. Who is there to take away any doubt? It's Sorel Kerim himself who heads a corner in the far corner in the 86th minute. Game, set and match. We're winning the match, but are we also winning the title? ... No, not even close. PSG easily beats Chatouroux and the title goes to Paris yet again. Still, fun season all around. Spoiler Cup: One day we'll make it to the final. One day! It wasn't this year though, as we were beaten by PSG in the semi's Europe (Champions League edition): Our first time with the big boys and... it didn't go well. We started on fire, thrashing Cluj 7-0. After that, we only managed one more point: a 3-3 draw home against Arsenal. Yes, that's a 1-0 defeat at Admira f*cking Wacker, yikes. Spoiler Intake: Yeah, not good...With the quality of my squad, I guess at this point it makes sense to have not too many 5 stars PA anymore as this would mean leading Ligue 1 players. Still, the last 3 intakes have been very average to say the least and not many youth players have progressed to the point of competing for senior squad positions. Transfers: Record sale before the start of the season. Axel Gaudry (intake of 35) was sold for 30M and a percentage of next sale to Newcastle. Bon Courage, Axel! Next Season: When you finish the season on equal points with PSG, there's only one way you can do better. After 19 seasons it's time to pronounce the C-word: Champions. That must be our ambition, and if that fails a Cup win would be nice as well.
glennuk
Badak Lampung - Season Six - Indonesian League One - Mid Season Update League - 7th We are doing much better this campaign than the last in League One, with 26 points already (we only got 33 in the whole season during our debut campaign in League One). We are definitely better equipped now and we can actually compete against any team (as can be seen below). Indonesian Cup After winning last year and realizing it may be the best path to the champions league (for now), we decided to focus on the cup again. We are already into the Semi Final, after a 6-2 on aggregate demolition of Persija (think the Man Utd of Indonesia). The second leg a very impressive 4-1 victory away from home. Can we make it two in a row? Our semi final is against fellow mid table side Persipura. Europe Asian Confederations Cup (2nd tier of continental competition) We absolutely dominated our group, which was a bit of a surprise. There are ALOT of phases in this competition. So next is the ASEAN zone semi final against Selangor, we would then play the ASEAN zone final, the Interzone Semi Final, the Interzone Final and then the Confederations Cup Final. Other News Shortly after this update I got a new contract and another Youth Upgrade. This time it was our Youth Recruitment Youth Recruitment: Excellent to Exceptional So now both Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment is Exceptional
HanziZoloman
"When the sea hits heavy on the eastern shorline. Sail as one." Earl of Grey 1st Season 2023/24 I don't know how long I'll do this but this year was a long one. I didn't savescum first time in my career in FM and was happy to keep the ship out of relegation fight despite being predicted to finish last in the league (300-1). Nontheless, team and chairman where furious with our performance. Me was just happy. Of course I didn't receive any plaudits after all not to mention upgrades or coaching badges. We had a 13 match winless run and our central defenders played every match, they were so tired that it was recommended to rest them for weeks but still they had to play. Our intake was great because every position was filled and next year we have subs. One or two of them may be ready for first team. Expectation for the next year are very high, mid table finish. I don't know how I can manage that. Thanks to some masters of the game like @Johnny Ace with the 433 thread which helped a lot. I also want to name Fmtahiti from twitter and his dirty tricks on the pitch (how to bring in a reducer) and many others who patiently answered my questions. Spoiler Key to our "success" was the attacking triangle with Hussein, Osideko and Ekongo plus our best player Baker dictating the game behind them. Also our BPD McKenzie and the 38 year old J. English added some assists. At times we where reaching for the play off spots but having almost no subs (despite the grey players) kicked us in times when schedule was thick. Our adequate training facilities helped us in developing some of the players. Spoiler Our most promising prospect is 16 years old Eboh who I will play as an IFs and he showed some talent in the last matches adding 2 assists to his name. Spoiler @all: How do you guys work your images that they are all nicely and hidden? Thanks much the Earl of Grey thank you @Libertine13 Edited May 18, 2023 by HanziZoloman

Popular Post libbyshuss
Aachen - Germany 2038/39 - Bundesliga Season Summary A really nice season. looks like we're properly established in the top flight now. After a 6 game winning run before christmas we even got as high as fourth, but slowly dropped until we missed out on European football altogether. Never mind, gives us something to aim for next season! Players Still rocking the 4-6-0 that was so effective in keeping us up all those year ago. The star of the side is undoubtedly Patrick Forster 34A - our first proper wonderkid and Goldenboy! I was very excited for the NxGN list too. Forster was too old but I had some cracking prospects who were bound to be in it, like these two:- but no! not one player made the top 50! I couldn't believe it! Youth Another very nice preview and intake! lots of elites although nobody stands out as a potential future golden boy Finances and Upgrades Finally, i got the option to request it! and they gave it me too!!! Woohoo! Career Can we push on and make Europe next season? It's a young side but now a year older and more experienced so there's no reason why not. I'm getting excited!
JAwtunes
Has anyone used chatAI to generate season reviews yet? I had been planning for a while but never got around to it. I've wasted most of the evening trying to automate (for the large part, anyway) input text using data I already have in the spreadsheet, and the text I am getting out of the software is not too bad. I think I will create a summary at the end of my current season, but imagine it will soon start to look very repetitive so might not stick with it.

Neo_Geo
ROESIDERS PUSH GLENTORAN ALL THE WAY More Youth DetailsYouth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review I was excited for our first foray into Europe but it was very shortlived as a tough draw against FC Vaduz (for those that don't know they are the Lichenstein side that compete in Switzerland and qualify for Europe by winning the Lichenstein FA Cup) which we lost 3-1 on aggregate. The money that came in took me up to around £880k and I was knocking on the chairman's door for upgrades but he declined both Junior Coaching and Training Facilities. The good news was that there were less fixtures to worry about and after seeing Linfield struggle this year due to the sheer volume of matches I think it was for the best. In the league we went into the Championship Group split with the league looking like this: Just before playing Glentoran I was 1 point behind them but we lost the match and Glentoran pulled away. On the last day of the season Larne lost to Glentoran whilst we drew (disappointingly) at home to Coleraine which brought us level on points but better goal difference than Larne to steal second place! In the cups we defended the North West Senior Cup with a near carbon copy of last years final except we won 4-1 against Ballinamallard Utd rather than 3-1. I would like to win the Northern Irish Cup at some stage however the priority remains qualifying for Europe and then trying to do as much as we can in Europe to maximise the funds coming in as I've done the easier of the upgrades. I was able to get one upgrade to the training facilities after club legend Pavol Guba (Elite1) sealed a move to Atletico Madrid!!!! It was nowhere near the sell on I wanted as far as the transfer fee was concerned but it looks like Guba is a top notch player and I got him in year 1! If only he had come along around this point in the save he might have stuck around longer. The chairman was at it again this time letting Denver Wilkinson (Elite1) leave which meant I had to use a left sided central midfielder on the left wing for most of the season until the intake provided another option. The good news however is I might be shot of him soon as there are takeover rumours and rather than the usual denial from the chairman it's saying he's open to it. If it happens I'm not expecting any investment as it rarely happens. I've just been renewing my current staff's contracts as I'm neither in the financial nor reputational position to get any better ones in. The number of staff hasn't changed in 6 seasons and we are still semi -pro but until we start making real headway into Europe it will remain that way. As far as the intake was concerned this year it looks like I have a real talent in my squad in the shape of Callum Martin (Elite6), he's already played 6 games in the league and averaged a respectable 6.80 but I only expect this to improve as he has all the makings of a really solid deep lying playmaker. Nathan Bell (Elite6) has also played first team football after injury left Fishwick (Elite4) out of the first team and Bell has scored 4 goals in 6 league games averaging 7.08 and I believe it will be him pairing Geneste (Elite5) next season. I did get a Brazilian youth intake but he was 2.5/3 potential and I let him go because I just didn't see anything coming from him, it was a nice surprise to have that and hopefully not the last but I would hope for a better quality Brazilian next time! Next Season Aims As I outlined above the priority is European qualification and progress which means cups will suffer if they need to. I have Aguilar (Elite4) and Reynierse (Elite4) both complaining now about playing with better players. I had this with Kerr (Elite3) last year but he backed down and then wanted a new contract so I'm hoping for the same. I've said I will not look to actively sell but will consider offers that come in, thats when I'll do the let them leave for reasonable fee chat (that's of course if the chairman isn't here and doesn't decide to just accept anyway) Previous Season Summaries Appointment Season 1 - Lough41 Championship 8th Season 2 - Lough41 Championship Winners Season 3 - Danske Bank Premiership 6th Season 4 - Danske Bank Premiership 5th Season 5 - Danske Bank Premiership 4th Edited May 19, 2023 by Neo_Geo
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2026 (Season 4) - OBOS-ligaen Squad | Transfers | Finances Another season that's more of the same, but I'm still happy. For the 3rd season in a row, we are the spot below the playoffs, so we just missed out on a chance to go up. This season was a bit strange though, as we had an excellent start and end, but the middle was rather horrible. We had a run where we only won 1 of 10 matches. So if we managed to avoid that horrible dip in form, we might have a shot at reaching the playoff next season. This season I had a big rage about my tactics, but after a long venting session with @Johnny Ace and a few others, I found out that making my DCs into BPDs suddenly makes them better at passing for whatever reason. So some slight changes to my tactic this season, but I finally found something that works as I want to. I'm also phasing out the original squad in favour of our youngster currently, but I think most of them have done an decent job. This process will most likely continue into the coming seasons, especially if we continue to produce good players. Speaking of; the intake this season was really good with quite a few quality players that helped out the first team. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Stjørdals-Blink and Lørenskog before we lost to Vålerenga in the 3rd round. Around the world 2nd team They only played friendlies this season. U19s They retained the Norwegian U19 Oslo 1 this season and again qualified for the promotion playoff. The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Youth Intake Season 18 A bit underwhelming this year, gotta give the new HOYD time to settle in I think. Hopefully his potential opinions are wrong and some of these guys have room to improve. That being said, having 3.5-4 stars PA is fine for this team and will build depth, the issue is that we still need 1-2 of those world class talents to win a Champions League. Orting 18d is the only player really worth highlighting right now. Has good starting attributes and his passing ability makes me want to play him as an AM(A) as opposed to a PF(A).
glennuk
Badak Lampung - Season Six - Indonesian League One - End of Year Review League - 10th Our best ever finish in the league. Comfortably mid table and could have been better. Our end of season form was relatively poor.....BUT for a very good tactical reason. Indonesian Cup - WINNER (2nd time in a row) In a re-run of last years cup final we played Persikabo again. Last time was a 4-3 aggregate victory, this time a 3-2 aggregate victory. This means we again qualify for the Asian Champions League Playoffs (if we win that we get in the group stage). ' Asian Confederations Cup - Interzone Final (I forgot the screenshots) After winning our group, we won the Asean Zone semis in extra time and comfortably won the final. We then won the Interzone Semis with a huge 7-3 aggregate win against Indian side Kerala FC and got into the Interzone Final. Unfortunately in the Interzone Final we got a good result away with a 2-2 draw, but struggle at home and lost on aggregate 7-5. The crazy amount of fixtures also shows why our league form suffered at the end, as I knew the Indonesian Cup and Confederation Cup were more valuable to the club right now. (we got over 500k combined for the cup and continental competition). The Squad We had such a good season, especially considering we just got promoted. Ismail Hardianto (YP04A) continued on from last seasons 30 goals in 32 games, to get 40 goals in 43 (10) starts. Budi Haryanto (YP06A) our new youth player that we got at the start of the season, had a great debut campaign, with 24 goals in 17 starts with 25 appearances off the bench. The Finances The finances are pretty good overall especially with the performances in the cup and Asian competition. We got a massive 854k in prize money this season! So I took the time to make a request or two. Other News We are improving our youth facilities. That does mean the above screenshot is now obsolete, but I am trying to ensure every year that we improve we ensure that the success is mirrored in our facilities. I also got another coaching course. Indonesian League One also went up in the competition rankings! This is something that will become more important as we go on. JAwtunes
@libbyshussyes mate. I had all the data in Excel anyway so thought I'd give it a go and I really like it. I just used concatenate to create a text string and let the AI do its stuff. I used it as a draft and basically removed bits I didn't like and added a few extra bits as I read through adding pics.
