Popular Post _JHTB_
Ilkeston Town - Season 24 – Premier League–1st Champions! Europa League Winners Transfers -- Squad -- League-- Key Player -- Hot Prospect League: Again in terms of results our start of season was less than ideal, losing two of the opening 3 games, but even in those defeats I was happy with how we were playing. Thankfully, we turned the performances into results losing just 1 of our next 13 games winning the majority as we pushed our way up to the very least, top 4 contention. I wasn’t really anticipating us managing to win the league at that stage but was confident we could secure Champions League qualification but we then played two of our title rivals back to back winning 6-2 and 3-0 against Everton and Arsenal respectively which put us right in the hunt soon after topping the table for the first time. Such was the closeness of the title fight at that stage however, we entered one weekend top and ended it 3rd after only drawing our game. Ultimately, we had a favourable run in, and found ourselves only needing a point from our last two games to secure the title (although goal difference meant it was probably sewn up). We did eventually end up picking just the one point from the last two games as we played pretty unconvincingly in both, but it didn’t matter as we secured an unlikely title. Incidentally, our winning points tally of 79 is the 3rd lowest winning total since the start of the save. Europe: Our group stage fixtures looked to be a step up in general to last season, but we managed to do one better than last season and win all 8, albeit with a much lower goal total. In the knockouts we had similarly straight forward progression with comfortable victories over Granada and Porto. The semi-final was a little less fluid from us, but we managed an arguably undeserved 2-1 victory away against FC Koln but we have been much better at home so wasn’t too concerned on the second leg. I perhaps should be as it was a good match between the two sides with the game finishing in a 2-2 draw just sending us through on aggregate. The final was against a team that we had beaten in the group stages – Villarreal. It was a very much cagey start with us barely creating anything before Gary Joyce 10 fired us into the lead just before half time. After the interval we quickly managed to double our lead before Joyce got him self sent off needlessly. However, whilst we did invite more pressure following the dismissal, we held on to make it a league and Europa League double. Youth Intake A better intake this season, a few players who look at a reasonable level to develop into good players for the club. Ethan Kavanagh 24 – Kavanagh looks really well rounded to start out to be a strong defender for us in the future, the obvious downfall his height, so may end up as a defensive midfielder but he doesn’t have terrible jumping reach at least. Sean Seery 24 – Another defensive prosect in this intake. Again not the tallest, but has some decent attributes and already ability to perform at some level in both fullback positions which will add versatility. Ricky Watts-Vincent 24 – His potential has been downgraded since the intake, however, I think he does have a decent set of attributes, but not really any suited to his positions. As an attacking midfielder I think he can develop into a useful option. Overview We managed to improve our training facilities back to state of the art, however, we have not been able to request an improvement of our youth facilities which is a real shame. This was our last season before our new stadium which is a positive moving forward. Next season we will be mostly focusing on giving ourselves a good shot in the Champions League now we have won the league. In the league however, we have got to aim to get at least another top 4 finish. Key Players Tariq Caton 20 – A huge factor in our massively successful season was Caton. He retained the NxGn award to make it 3 in total and just scored goals. 34 goals in the league in 29 games and 15 in 11 in the Europa League. Unfortunately, he picked up a long term injury in the Quarter finals of the Europa League otherwise he could have scored even more in both. Gary Joyce 10 – Joyce had his best ever season for us this time out though he did play more infrequently than perhaps he would have liked as he is in a position where we have strong competition. 12 goals and 17 assists in all competitions is a strong showing nonetheless. Ahmed El-Ackchaoui 17 – We managed to tie down El-Ackchaoui to a long term deal on significantly more money than everyone else in the team, but he repayed it with another great season. He was more selfless this season as he managed 10 league assists which is double his previous best.

Streetpete
Holbæk B&I- Youth intake season 2 The intake was very good this time around, only missing someone who can play a significant part at the moment but we lots of players with possibly high potential and luckily some of them also with good personalities. Two of the best are: I have big hopes for Winther to play a part in our team in the future (unless he gets poached of course). Thats not to say he doesnt have his shortcomings but what else to expect at this point. Morsing has perfectionist personality so that should be good and he looks alright too, although we use defensive wingers so he is not ideal for my current system. Holbæk B&I- Review season 2 The season was kind of opposite of the last one, because this time we were quite abysmal towards the middle of the season but then ended up doing quite well, and if Brabrand hadnt scored in the 87 minute against Young Boys we would have went up instead, but I have hopes that next season will be the season we can clinch promotion.

Ron_Swanson
[FM22] SK Zestaponi - season 5 - 2026 That was a great season, we won the title thanks to unbeaten streak from september to november (league games only, except cup loss). Conference League qualifications went well, in first and second round we got teams from Estonia and Armenia that were weaker than us so we easily made it through. 3rd round draw came with Hearts and I though "that's it, we won't go any further" but somehow we won both games. Last qualifying round and Servette showed us where we belong. The best thing is that we got over a million in profit and it went to training and youth faciliteis upgrades right away. DrJones
Tours FC 2025/26 What a crazy season this was! It looked like for a long time that we would just finish safely in the middle of the table but in the last couple of games we started a great winning streak and all the teams above us lost their form. We had actually a great chance to get automatic promotion in the end but lost to Dunkerque who finished second in the penultimate round. In the playoff against VAFC I thought we had no chance when looking at their team beforehand but in the first leg at home we were the better team and we should have gotten a much better result than a 1-1 draw. In the second leg they were better but we managed to score our chances. This means that we will play in the second tier next season wich I expect to be really tough but the players should improve a lot by competing on a higher level. Squad Top players (Regens) Probably the best player already, I would be surprised if he stays longer than the next season... 25 goals in 32 games is madness, i didnt expect that at all even though he has been improving a lot. One of the keys this season, a great defender in the making. Youth Intake History
aldojags
I've started a save with Toulon in France, and given my many failed attempts at the challenge, I've decided not to post an update until I'm a season or 2 in! I'm halfway way through season 1 and doing ok, comfortably mid table with a good cup run and tie against Monaco to look forward to. However, I've just been given my youth intake preview, and it makes me want to chuck it just now. I get not every year gna be a golden generation, but this, in year 1....? My team is fully comprised of 29-34 year olds, like i need new players coming through and fast, but this crap being served up as a first intake...why bother!? THis is comfortably the worst preview i think ive ever had! ANy chance it could be a mistake!?

Popular Post libbyshuss
Aachen FC - Germany 2057/58 - Bundelsiga Season Summary League - started amazingly well, easily beating Bayern and Dortmund in the first month and went 6 points clear at one stage. But couldn't maintain it..... Champions League - I thought this might be our year! we were so good in the league stage, apart from a little blip against Leeds, easily qualifying for the knockout stage. We played brilliantly to get past Liverpool and got Athletico Madrid in the quarter-final. It seemed a nice draw, and a 2-2 draw in Madrid suggested so too. We were good in the hone leg but somehow managed to lose 2-0. Really frustrating! Players/Youth We got a new wonderkid! This fella, who i tend to play left back:- I have a feeling I might have a future wonderkid here too. Made his Croatia debut at 16 while still in my U19 team! Pascal Meier is now 30 but still as good as ever. One of the reasons I'm still going is I want to see him hit 1000 club goals. Up to 792 now! He is good. look at all his balon d'ors! So I'll keep going a couple seasons more, although i don't think I'm likely to head into Padders territory

Traldon
Season 5 Review Alemannia Aachen: League Table: The second season in a row where we finished 11th, although this time we are closer to promotion than relegation. Really hoping for that top half next season, or at least a less streaky run, beacuse we keep on winning like 3 in a row and then not winning in 5. In the cup we got knocked out in the secon round for the third time in a row, this time by Hannover Newly starting Youth players (We had to replace our keeper and our best centre back, because their release clauses got activated): Sadly this guy is the best keeper i have... I only just started playing Marlon Dörfer 3a. He has now replaced Saban Yavuz 2a, because he has not developed well. Transfer Screen:

Riebow
Lewes FC Season Review (23/24) League: Quite a surprising first season, where we sometimes seemed to score at will, but concede just as easily. We massively overachieved and against all odds we were competing for the title in our maiden season. We started the save with 17 players and lost 2 before the actual season began, which gave us 15 fit bodies to take on the Vanarama National League South. We finished 3rd behind Havant & Waterlooville and Barnet. In the Play-offs semi finals we etched out a win against Dover, before falling to Barnet in the Playoffs final. To be honest, we have no business going up. We need a couple of seasons of growth in the vanarama south for our youngsters to find their legs. Spoiler FA Cup: No big away day for us this season as we were knocked out by Torquay in the 4rd preliminary round. FA Trophy Some minor success in the FA Trophy, where we beat Vanarama National team Dag & Red, before falling to Solhull Moors on penalties. Meet my HOYD Meet Bobby Mimms, 19 WwY, 15 YPA and 15 PP and, oh yeah, Model Citizen personality... In the Vanarama National League South... And he's on a non-contract earning... 0 Spoiler Intake: Not the intake I was hoping for. A good defender prospect in Charlie Beadle, but not that much to talk about. We'll give them playing minutes, because we have to. It's remarkable how in the English 6th tier with Limited Youth Recruitment I get players from Holland and Norway, while in my Iran save I could barely get players from around the block with Exceptional Youth Recruitment. YR makes no sense at all. Spoiler Charlie Beadle: I'll be playing him as a Ball Playing Defender and he's probably already my best centre back. Spoiler Finances and upgrades We get some nice home attendance, resulting in some positive net income each month. We currently have about 344.085 euro in the bank. A good season also means that our board was more willing to upgrade our facilities. We ended up improving our Youth Recruitment to Fairly Basic from Limited and our Academy Coaching to Good from Fairly Basic. Spoiler Transfers Nothing in, nothing out Next Season Next season we start from scratch. Despite our good season, some players seem to have lost 2 attribute points across the board, despite being in their mid twenties. We will have to play our youngsters, of which a 2,5 silver stars goalkeeper. Luckily our board doesn't have big ambitions and we only need to stay up.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 SC Preußen Münster Season Summary What a season. We stormed to the league title to secure promotion to the second tier. Season Details League Table - As always, consistency is the key and once we hit the top two, we never looked back. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - After struggling in the opening few games, we soon settled down and started to churn out the wins. Friendlies - I thought we were going to go unbeaten until the last three pre season matches where we lost twice. Squad - We are nowhere near good enough for the second tier so I justr hope I do not get sacked. Squad Dynamics - Despite such a good season, there is still room for improvement. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - A lot of second team players departed on free transfers as well as our best player for a transfer fee of £250,000, plus a sell on clause. Youth Candidates - Striker Radomir Höck YP24A1 is the best prospect out of a fairly good intake. Finances - We lost a lot of money this year though the prize money in the second tier means we will make a considerable amount next season. Key Players Gerrit Wegkamp - The striker is the main reason we went up this year. A return of 22 goals in 34 appearances showed just how good he was this year. Darius Ghindovean - A former Under 21 international for Romania, the central midfield was a sensation this season. Thorben Deters - Midfield partner of Darius Ghindovean, the experienced midfielder had his best season in years. Simon Scherder - The veteran central defender was our best defender. Alexander Hahn - Another veteran defender, he partnered Simon Scherder with aplomb this year. Next Season Survival. Anything else is a huge bonus. Wow! Their are really some players who know how to play the game. Would you give some tactical insights please! TL;DR: pick a formation that works for your best players and you'll be fine eventually. I mostly start from a Balanced mentality, Positive if I'm the favorite. In this case I just worked from the team's strengths, which were its wingers and attackers. So I played a 4-2-4 with 2 DMs (Anchor and Segundo Volante). 2 pressing forwards as well. Put your best players on attack (In my case, a left wingback, right inside forward, my segundo volante and one of the pressing forwards). I used a mid block with much more pressing and a lower defensive line, because my defenders are slow as snails. It worked well in the beginning of the first season, but the players really declined towards the end. In my 2nd season I'm really fighting against relegation as well and I reverted back to a 4-4-2 for more stability :-). I might spend a couple of seasons as well in the vanarama south, it all depends on what you get through your intake in the end :-) Good luck!
DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2024/25 SC Preußen Münster The preview was tremendous: The intake itself was equally good I think with quite a few players with first team potential.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 SC Preußen Münster Season Summary A season of overachievement as we retained our place in the second tier. We nearly beat Borussia Dortmund in the cup too. Season Details League Table - We picked up points regularly enough to survive quite comfortably. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We started so well, going unbeaten in the first seven games. Reality then settled in and we struggled for a while though we finished the campaign on fire. DFB-Pokal - We made it through to the second round before losing narrowly at home to giants Borussia Dortmund, despite leading two nil at half time. Friendlies - It was a very mixed bag of results during pre season. We also struggled during the winter break where I arranged three fixtures in an attempt to raise morale. Squad - How we compete in this division is beyond me. On paper we are nowhere near good enough for this level. Squad Dynamics - This is getting even better. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - There was no permanent departures, though three youngsters left on loan for some much needed football. Youth Candidates - It was a good intake with attacking midfielder Serge Loretz YP25D20 looking like the brightest prospect. Finances - Thanks to the league prize money, we made a very healthy profit this season. Key Players Gerrit Wegkamp - The striker was once again our best player. Darius Ghindovean - The Romanian central midfielder has become one of our most important players. Thorben Deters - Our biggest earner on £10,000 per week, he has more than repaid my faith by having a great campaign. Alexander Hahn - The veteran central defender was still as reliable as ever. Tom Müller - Our goalkeeper was a very busy man this season and he was more than up for the task. Next Season A repeat would be lovely. Riebow
Lewes FC Season Review (24/25) League: A challenging start predicted a season fighting against relegation. However, suddenly we started to win games and before we knew it we were in the play offs spots. I was almost getting worried we were going to get haphazardly promoted, until we started on a terrible run of form to close out the season. In the end we finished safely mid table in 12th position. Bang average, just as we like it. @HanziZoloman don't look, but Billericay got promoted in my universe ;-) Spoiler FA Cup A nice cup run would be nice, but we were knocked out in the last qualifying round by Chippenham Spoiler FA Trophy Knocked out in the 3rd round by Weymouth Spoiler Intake: I forgot to take a screenshot of my intake :-(, but here's some Excel magic. A lot of high potential players and 2 players ready for the first team. Spoiler Milton: You must be good if you don't need a surname. He's the Vanarama Christiano Ronaldo, whether it's in attitude or performance is yet to be seen! Spoiler Paul Duff: some needed reinforcements in central midfield, as 39 year old Bradley Pritchard is calling it a day. Spoiler Finances and upgrades Finances are still sitting healthy at around 350K, but the board doesn't want to improve facility upgrades just yet. We upgraded our Youth Recruitment to Average and our Academy Coaching to Good (even though our Club info already had it as Good, I'm a bit confused) Transfers: Nothing in, nothing out Best XI We're getting younger and a tiny bit better, so that's progress. Our GK went from a 2,5 silver star CA to 1 full gold star, but he's getting competition from the new kid on the block. In defense Charlie Beadle is our best defender as expected. The situation in midfield is dire, so I'm hoping one of Joe Duff, Craig Cairs or David Davidson can step up. In offense Deon Moore is still the go to guy, but Norwegian Rolf Christian Onarheim has shown promise. Also curious what Milton can do in his first season with the big boys. Spoiler Next Season: I predict a similar kind of season. With some more squad depth our performances might not fall of a cliff by the end of the season and we might compete for play off places again. I don't mind much staying at the current level though, as long as we can start replacing some of the originals with newgens.
Streetpete
So I ended up dropping my save with Holbæk, since I wasnt quite feeling it both due to losing some of my key players, struggling with finding the right tactic for the team and just not feeling the club/players. But I did some tactical experimentation and am up for the challenge again. So here we go again this time with Kjellerup IF, who are a smaller local club with just a 2000 capacity stadium and pretty poor setup, but they did have some good players with decent ages too so I had my hopes. We are an amateur club though so there was always the fear of these good players disappearing but I gave it a shot anyways. This is the setup we had at the start of the game, definetly room for improvement! And improvement we did get during the season with double upgrade to youth recruitment and junior coaching! We hired this guy as HOYD, not great but we take what we can get at this point. This is how the squad looked at the start, horrible depth but some quality amongst and we were lucky enough to "only" lose Patryk Pietras and Oliver Henriksen of our good players and we had them for a chunk of the season too. Some of the best players can be seen here: Kjellerup Idrætsforening Youth intake season 1 The intake was alright, although the guys with best personalities didnt have greatest CA, but definetly could have been much worse and hopefully we can make few of these play a role in our team, depth wasnt the best anyway so they dont need to be very good to play a role in pretty much positions except strikers. Very bad acceleration and strength, but lets hope he can improve, definetly a brave man. Looks alright, but not loving stamina/natural fitness, as it is something we require in our system Our only professional, again not loving the strength but otherwise looks somewhat well rounded. Kjellerup Idrætsforening Season review season 1 We won the league! so we are off to a good start. Edited July 27, 2023 by Streetpete

Streetpete
Kjellerup Idrætsforening Youth intake season 2K Im a bit conflicted about this intake, on one hand its the best I have ever had in regards to current ability but on the other hand all the players have neutral or poor personalities so it might be hard to actually realize their potential. At least some of them are already skilled enough to improve the team directly when they become 16. Jönsson looks decent but not really fitting too well into our system, but hopefully he has some potential. Nielsen looks nice and will be an improvement in our central defence, unambitious not the best though. Kjellerup Idrætsforening Season 2 review We were looking really good, sitting in second after like 20 games but then this happened... So we ended up as number 6 which is not bad, but our play had me hoping for potentially more. As can be seen we arent doing amazing financially so we cant afford upgrades of any kind. We are not doing so bad that we should be in trouble either though, but it would be nice to get to the 1. division to earn some more money. HanziZoloman
"I'd like to hang with people who actually want to be here." Earl of Grey Season 8 - 30/31 Vanarama South Spoiler We started the season with mixed results and switched formation into a 433 which clicked in October and gave us many points until February. We were always knocking on promotion doors but finally hit a bad run of form which lasts through February and March dropping us to a 12th place finish. We had our first cup run in the FA Trophy which lead us into the semifinal. Here we met Mansfield from the league above: In the 50' we went in front with a fantastic strike from legend Louis Baker. The match was even until a double strike in 78' and 79' put us behind. We even hit woodwork in the final minutes but could not turn things around. It was a rare highlight because in the league we ware falling into pieces. Our best player this year was Rhys Platt YA24 who bagged 28 goals and is now with 141 goals in 254 games for Ricay Sailors. He is a true legend. 20 years old Kent Ryder YA26 finally had his breakthrough season with 9 goals and 12 assists as an IF(s). In defense 19 yo Jon Adams (resolute personality) is stepping up and challenging for captaincy in near future. When it was clear that our best players Kavanagh Williams-Bowers Y25, Mike Eboh Y24 and Louis Baker won't sign any new contracts and will leave the club in the end, the Earl decided to play youngsters instead. Our Under 18s won the league three consecutive years and four titles in five consecutive years, clearly there must be hope for the future. Kavanagh Williams-Bowers has been our best player since Neil Cox left last year, Mike Eboh scored 17 goals and Baker gave 13 assists. Captain Mundle-Smith will be the last legendary player for Billericay, he was the only one who agreed a new contract. The Earl said goodbye to all our respected heros and academy legends but he won't look back. Instead he will look at the bright prospects coming in like the Tunesian playmaker Achref Gouma: Spoiler We also had another turnover and I lost count of it, it's like the fourth or fifth in all the years. We are still top relegation candidates punching above our wights every year. Our most priority is still to build a winning eleven which can fight for promotion. Due to financial difficulties we can only offer short contracts (one year plus the occasional extension) but we are not in the reds anymore, slightly plus. The Earl did his studies well and will shortly become continental pro. "You gotta learn Bruv, next year we'll punch back. We lost so many good players but there are many coming back through the academy and they need room to grow as well." Sad but true: Our Best Keeper who left us last season, Kem Bullman, has retired from Football with 22 years old just a year after he left. Note: Legend Simeon Maye returned to Ricay as a coach (!) Note 2: The Earl was voted on 3rd place manager of the year (2nd time). "Personal awards are always a nice recognition but hey look over there a three headed monkey!" Bad first round, 16th with 14 points, only 2 wins but with 8 draws. Strikers are bad, poor form or injured. Stats shows us as a middle table team, but we can't covert shots into goals. With 4th crossing also 0 goals from set pieces. Second round did some tactics tweaks and it went bit better with 18 points, but it wasn't enough and we finished 16th in play-offs. Play-off against MSV Duisburg went great, we won 5-1 away and drew 0-0 at home and stayed in Bundesliga 2. Still big problem on striker position. Our main goalscorer Franz Helmer had lot of injuries. Streetpete
Kjellerup Idrætsforening Youth intake season 3 Well I am playing at a high speed so here we go with season 3. Well I said last intake had bad personalities but this was worse, so many players with casual and unambitious personalities. So this ended up being the last year for my YOHD since we was responsible for two terrible intakes, and I also hired staff to u19 valuing their personalites over their abilities. New HOYD development will be this guy: Lets hope it will lead to some improved personalities in next intake, because we could really use some good youth players with potential. Our best prospect for the year is this guy, who I do quite like the look of with a driven personality I expect him to become decent at least. Kjellerup Idrætsforening season review 3 We were slightly better than last year but kind of the same with performing well for a while and then collapsing a bit. This time we didnt shine as brilliantly at any point but on the other hand we didnt collapse as spectacularly either, so were more consistent which I like to see. Maybe next year we can make a promotion push?

Best players:MC-Niko NeißAML-Ricardo Garridointakeintake-all Predicted 18th, finished 6th. table First round decent 21 points and 12th place. Second round much better with 34 pts. Strikers form was bit better but still not good enough especially in 1st round. In the first round main striker Franz Helmer had XG 5.99 and 2 goals only. Good that Taha Aksu (AMR/FC) played better with XG 3.63 and 4 goals. We started to master the corners - 5 goals. After 1st round we were 2nd place for most crosses, and 3th with crosses quality. In january our best winger and most assist player so far (and 1st season) Benjika Caciel got injured again (like in previous season), unavalaible for 5-7 months. His replacement Domenico Alberico (ITA) managed to be unexpected and great replacement. Managed to score 8 goals and did 5 assists whole season. With Domenico playing bit more in middle than wide, our striker Franz managed to find his goalscoring form. Strikers finished with these stats: Taha Aksu 9 goals from 10,19 XG Franz Helmer 9 goals from 12,03 XG AS a team 2nd place in the league for expectedXG. Our fixed corner routines gave us 11 goals during whole season. XaW
So I've restarted....again.... and I'm heading off to a country I've played before, but I don't think the team has been played before, at least not recently, as I think I'd recognize the badge. I'm heading to the flat land of Denmark, where I'm the tallest mountain just standing up! And I'm heading over to the island of Sjælland, also called Zealand in English. Not to be confused with either an American streamer, the islands south east of Australia, nor the Dutch region of Zeeland. Zealand in this context is the REAL Zealand, the Danish one! The biggest city is of course København, oh English crowd, so "Copenhagen"... Man, English does not like the Danish names. However, the City I'm heading to is Slagelse. With my club of choice being FC Vestsjælland, I'm sure even English speakers can guess where on the island this is located. Vest means West surprisingly, so yes, on the west side of the island. The municipality has just shy of 80k inhabitants and about 35k of them live in the urban centre. Now, why am I posting so much about the city rather than the club itself? Well, the club web site, according to Wikipedia, links to decorating blog for "Nordic styles", so not sure about that link, Wikipedia! That said, I can't find one on Google either, so I guess the club is too small for one currently. Let's do something about it! So I took over the club, and we are still Amateur, so getting rid of dead weights should at least be easy. The problem will be the good old poaching.... The club, in FM, has a decent setup with very reasonable facilities, and not horrible youth recruitment, at least for this level. The badge though, how just a viking helmet (with horns!) can make something boring into something nice. I also liked their colours and created some decent kits to fit. Now, let's see how this "fjeldabe" can do, and if the old saying of "Det er dejlig å være norsk i Danmark" ring true for me as well... Also, go home "league history", you're drunk!

They had a few seasons in the Danish Superliga and even reached the cup final, but then they went bancrupt in 2015, and split into Slagelse B&I who you may have seen people play with in here. They had a few seasons in the Danish Superliga and even reached the cup final, but then they went bancrupt in 2015, and split into Slagelse B&I who you may have seen people play with in here. I cant find them in my game though so not sure why that difference is there. I have a name update, so could be that the club I'm managing is actually Slagelse B&I, and the file is just wrong... I don't worry though, as I enjoy the save and can imagine I'm the spiritual phoenix club!

aldojags
I finished a first season in this challenge! Can I get a completion for this? Not kidding, I've started probably a dozen versions of this challenge this year, and this is the first time I've managed end of the first season! Took over as SC Toulon manager, my profile at start of season, Had an unexpected flirt with promotion, poor start to the season, but a strong recovery and regular wins had us slowly climb the table, and for 1 week, we occupied 2nd place with about 6 games to go or so. But as you can see, a dreadful finish to the season meant we fell away. Would have been WAY too early, we are NOT ready for Ligue 2, so I'm not too distraught, just gna sit in chill in 3rd tier for a few years i reckon! Got a couple of coaching courses, end of season attributes. Next seasons board vision - glad they're not expecting much, this is an old and declining squad, with nothing special coming through the ranks, so I think I'm gna be stuck here for a few seasons until some players emerge. Youth preview was terrible, the end result was slightly better than forecast, however even the 2 "elite" talents are not that special, Belaribi and Nicod. All time slowest intake ever too, look at the pace stats on this mob! Got recruitment upgraded. So next season I just want to survive, as I don't think we'll repeat last year, and I think we've squeezed all we can out of some of the older players, boring mid table season would be lovely and I need to settle on a tactic, Supporter profile. Facilities. Transfers. Finished 2nd in Manager of the year.
