Popular Post Potat
Green Green Grass of Honda End of Season 1 An overall good season but a very worrying future. Summary With the board expecting a mid-table finish it wasn't going to be easy, however, with a win against 7th-place Fukushima on the final day, we finished 6th and got a spot in the promotion playoffs. After a strong start of the season winning 4 of the first 5, we were always around the playoff race but after a turn in form saw us drop down to 10th before managing to climb back into the playoffs on the final day after a change in tactics. But it wasn't all that comfortable as we had less of the ball for the majority of games and finishing 18th in the xG Table meant we were never really favourites going into any game and every game being decided by 1-2 goals we never had any big comfortable wins. With a 23-man squad with an average age of 27 this team should be able to put together a few seasons while the academy improves and players start getting promoted up through the ranks. Spoiler With a very solid defense picking up the second-most clean sheets in the league, when we played well we played very well, but when it went bad... well it went horrible with multiple 4/5 goals conceded a game. Facilities and Upgrades This is where the save becomes worrying, my aim was to get the youth setup going to at least get an intake, after many attempts the board finally allowed me to upgrade the Junior Coaching and the save could really kick on, however, that was all they gave me. A single Junior Coaching upgrade and the worst youth setup possible, after 6 requests to improve the Youth Recruitment the board refused to do so despite the overachieving of the team, leaving me with a lot of money and without the option to request for Youth Facility improvements or the ability to request further Junior Coaching upgrades on top of that. Spoiler Youth Intake Unsurprisingly it was horrible, from preview to personalities it was very underwhelming even with the worst possible youth setup. Spoiler Next Season After a good season on the pitch and a bad season off it, the board have relaxed their expectations and now aims to avoid relegation, with no noteworthy players in the academy it will be entirely the same team. This save is now in the hands of the board, whose reluctance to give me any improvements is an issue with them denying multiple coaching courses on top of the other requests. edit: a full season review for anyone who may be interested Spoiler Edited October 22, 2023 by Potat

Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 Macclesfield Season Summary A promotion playoff spot and a good F. A. Cup run equate to a fine season. Season Details League Table - By finishing in the promotion playoff places, we overachieved by some distance. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We went off like a train thouigh our form soon fell off a cliff and we had to scxrap for every point. Promotion Playoffs - Scarborough Athletic once again hammered us, in the first round, despite us leading by two goals at one stage. F. A. Cup - A decent run before York City, from the division above, proved too strong on their own patch in the fist round proper. F. A. Trophy - In what I can only call a disgraceful performance, we went out away to fellow sixth tier side Scarborough Athletic in the second round. We were annihilated. Friendlies - Looking at our results, I think it is safe to say we endured a tough pre season. Squad - Looking at our squad, we definitely overachieved this year. We lack quality throughout the squad. Squad Dynamics - This is quite good though there is significant room for improvement. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Just the one departure as a fringe player departed for pastures new. Youth Candidates - It was an excellent intake with striker Darius Mayne YP25E5 being the pick of the bunch. Finances - Thanks to high attendances, we made a substantial profit and as a result, our bank balance is very healthy. Key Players Alex Curran - A return of 33 goals in 50 appearances represents an excellent campaign from our striker. Kane Drummond - Comfortable on either wing or up front, he had a good season. Brandon Lee - The left back had a fine season. Alex Hirst - Another who can play on either wing, he also enjoyed a terrific campaign. Sam Heathcote - Predominently a central defender, he was good enough though had lapses of concentration at times. Next Season I am not sure we can repeat, so a safe mid table finish will be just fine. Coxbox
Yayasan Pahang Maintenance FC- Malaysia I tried this save in England before and it is far too hard, so I thought where have I never managed Malaysia? After taking a nice holiday in Malaysia I had a choice between the newly promoted UiTM Utd with 0 Centerbacks or Yayasan Pahang Maintenance FC, I obviously went for the team with 5 Strikers. Here is the world's greatest manager no one has heard of Ron Longerschlong, born in the great town of Swindon. After taking a quick tour of the facilities I think they may need some work. However, we do have a decent starting balance so I am sure I can grab myself a coaching badge. Hopefully, this will grow as I sweat in the Malaysian heat to bring success to this club. Club Vision - 5 Year Plan Just don't get relegated. Here is the team, interestingly this club cannot sign any foreign players, making this club perfect for this save. We have enough players to form a team and bench so that's good Ahmad Fauzi Rozlan ST One of our better strikers Krishnan Thanabalan ST This 16-year-old might get some game time, he does need work though. Muhd Syafiq Ismail GK Looks like Big Ismail is going in goal for us this season. HOYD - Govindasamy Surender This is the man who will start finding us some new young talent Season Preview This will be a difficult season just need to finish 12th, wish me luck

Popular Post Virtual Male
Season 2 2025/26 Manager Profile - Competitions - Finances - Facilities Competitions Vanarama National League North - A 5th place finish which is a marked improvement on last year, yet I'm still quite disappointed with it really. I think the pressure got to the players at the business end of the season, we'd been top for the majority of the year and only dropped below 2nd place for the first time in game week 40. A lot of points were dropped from winning positions too so I can't blame anyone but myself for that really, I need to start managing games better and shutting up shop when the team has a solid lead (On more than one occasion we managed to draw games we'd been 3 or 4 goals up in). The Emirates FA Cup - Made it to the FA Cup proper, should have probably done better against Barnet given they've been relegated from the Vanarama National this season but the cup competitions aren't really a focus for me right now. The Isuzu FA Trophy - 4th round exit to Gateshead, I'd like to win this one at some point for the sake of saying I have. Might pay a little more attention to it in the coming years. Squad - Being able to make subs is pretty cools isn't it!! you don't know what you've got until its gone, I suppose . The team is looking much better than last season, mainly because it's a proper size now but most of the performance levels have carried over from last season and the half dozen or so 16 year olds that have got game time this season have given good showings of themselves, overall I'm pretty happy with it. Ryan Astley (2025YP9) - Talking of last years graduates doing themselves proud, Ryan, who I keep thinking is called Rick, was the top performer for the season. He doesn't look like anything super special but I'm not risking him going anywhere so he's been given a proper contract and will hopefully keep on developing. Youth Intake (Preview) - Another 'Excellent' intake and it does look like there's plenty of potential in there, with 2 looking like they could give me some more options for rotation. Again, not great personalities but there's a couple of decent ones in there that could end up doing something. Jamie Jones (2026YP4) - Probably just getting overexcited because the attributes are nothing special really but he's resolute so high professionality so hopefully even with out awful facilities and part time training he'll turn into a half decent footballer. Transfers & Finances - Nothing really going on here, I'm hoping for no outs this season and am in the process of tying up contract renewals currently. No-one is asking for massive wage increases so fingers crossed everyone plays ball, to be honest there's a few of the legacy players that I wouldn't be upset to see go, including last seasons star Oliver Mehew who's been nothing but a pain this year. We've a few quid in the bank now and I've been pushing for any upgrades but the board aren't keen and clearly don't understand this challenge! Other - Did manager to get the board to agree to a Junior Coaching upgrade, so that's up to average and I'll be fully expecting to be making that list of the worlds best academies next season on the back of it. Popular Post benrollo
A pretty similar season to last time out really. Flirted with the playoffs but I don't think we were as good as our position shows - good home form carried us through to be honest. Youth players mostly played out of necessity than them blowing us away with their ability. We were super short at centre back, which is why Koichi Mori 24-6 ended up with most appearances of our graduates. He really is pretty crap, and our defense as a whole were way below J3 league average. Thankfully, offensively we were way above average, and that carried us through. Hiroki Scharod Akai was our best player, with 12 goals and 2 assists on his way to a 7.06 rating. Shinsuke Sato 24-2 was actually our best player average rating wise, but whilst he made 21 appearances, 16 were off the bench. We had multiple upgrades to Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching over the season, along with a training facilities upgrade too. Things might slow down a bit now until I can get those facilities upgraded again, but I'll keep pestering the board! On the 2025 graduates front, there was definitely a step up from 2024. But still nothing particularly mind blowing! Suzuki being marked as 5* potential probably says more about our coaching staff than his ability. But we were so weak at left back that he's already first choice! Quick and a decent finisher. Maybe not much more than that, but there could be something here if Kikuchi develops. A young promising keeper is always a nice sight. Those attributes don't really scream that he'll be ready any time soon though. Our 32 year old number 1 will need to stick around for a few more years I reckon!

Popular Post HanziZoloman
"Professional Football .. we're in. My people are you with me where you at?!" Earl of Grey The year 2051 - Billericay Town will play Sky Bet League Two in 51/52 We did it. Of course that's like a CL victory to us. The Earl is 69 years old and still aging. Spoiler We had a terrible start in the league with 5 losses in 8 games and the Earl was like "omg another 20 years .." But then he made some tactical changes and the Blue Armada took course on League Two only losing once more on 12-11-50 against now 2nd placed Bristol Rovers. "We were unbeatable" but still League Two was at far distance, with Bristol Rovers leading the table 10 points ahead. The Earl hast lost every single Play Off match in his long career which made him feel that only 1st places are promotion places. But against all odds and all critics Ricay came closer and closer and taking 1st place over around February. The Earl was clever he decided to give his players even crazier nicknames with not only marking their year of youth intake but also giving away ! for consistent players or !! for big match players and on the contrary ' for inconsistent and " for dreaded big games. Now it was clear who to play the matches to stay ahead of the Bristol Pirates. It was Millie Potter with three !!! who turned close games into draws and victories and scored a hattrick in the one deciding match against Guisley @Cultured Left Foot which secured the title in VN for our Ricay Sailors. Three !!! means Thrives in Big Matches oh Millie Potter he's not our best but he scores when we need it most. Thank you mate it's your moment. !!! Spoiler @benrollo I like the personalities graph. Nice work in Japan! Edited October 22, 2023 by HanziZoloman

Winski
I wasn't enjoying my save in Hungary, so I decided to also try the challenge in Sweden. In FM23 I tried it a couple of times without succes, so hopefully I'll have more luck this time. So hello IFK Lidingö! It's a club with quite a lot of money for this level. We've got a squad of 20 players, but without a goalkeeper..... so until the next youth intake I'll need to play with a grey player on goal, or maybe a field player. Let's see how it goes! The board was willing to let my study for my first License, so that's a good thing!
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Folkestone Invicta - Season 2024/25 (Season 1) - Vanarama National League South Squad | Transfers | Finances Wow, that some some season for us! Especially considering we only had 10 outfield players until the intake came with one league game left! I really can't belive we managed to actually get promoted first season, and I'm not sure we will be able to stay up next season, but I'll of course firmly take it. The tactic is the old trusty 4-5-1/4-3-3 I've always used, albeit slightly tweaked as usual. Most of the roles and instructions are identical though, so the good old tactic still stands strong! It went well from the get go, really as in the first 15 game we won 11, drew 2, and only lost 2. This meant we were part of the battle at the top of the table from then on, and we were thereabouts for the rest of the season. We did have a bit of a blimp around Christmas as the fatigue really set in during the massive amount of games, and our small squad. But we rallied in January and did well from there on in. Eventually, we finished in a very good 3rd place slightly behind Bath City, and firmly behind the runaway winner Southend. The latter being a professional team at this level, which should be counted as cheating, if you ask me! Then in the playoff we faced a very strong Maidstone United side who beat out Dartford in the first round of the playoffs. We took an early lead and we held on for a while, but we conceded half way into the 2nd half. Then the game went to extra time. We scored at the death of the first half of it, but Maidstone equaled it again with only a few matches left. So on to pens we went, and they missed their first pen, while we slotted all 5 into the net to claim the win. Then in the final we faced Bath City, my personal bogey team in the lower leagues, so I was sure about losing. Things looked really good though as we got an early lead which we doubled after half an hour. In the 2nd half we had a really poor few minutes where we let Bath score two times in 5 minutes to draw the match. That was also the final goal of the normal 90. In extra time we got a good goalk halfway into the first one, and then I went into secure the score mode and locked the game down. From then on there were no highlight, and the game ended without any more events. Thus we had secured an amazing and unlikely promotion! After the promotion was secured, the board had to revamp the stadium a bit, so we get a few more seats to comply with league regulations. FA Cup: We beat Totten, Chippenham Town, and Farnborough before we lost to Exeter City in the 1st round. FA Trophy: We beat Ramsgate, Bath City, and Tonbridge Angels before we lost to Dag & Red in the 5th round. I got some improvements accepted this season. And the best news ever! Around the world U18s: Our youth side finished 8th in the National U18 League South East this season. FA Youth Cup: They beat Hitchin Town, Hereford, and Dorking before they lost to Bromley in the 1st round. Mahzun_Savas
Looking at the finances of the club I am managing, Portugalete, it seems we are going to lose a massive amount of money. According to the projection below it is going to be over 2 million Australian dollars per year. Spoiler What am I supposed to do to deal with these losses?
