Popular Post Gonner
Austria Salzburg, Season 2, 2025/2026 Season Recap : We are well clear of relegation, but our second half of the season was very bad with only 16 points. We ended up in 10th with 38 points, which is a position lower and 3 points less than the previous year. Not a trend we want to keep. Transfers : Révélation Obviously no arrivals, and the departure of our "star player" Aaron Volkert who did not want to renew his contract. Finances : Révélation Well the color says it all... Red everywhere. Not in dramatic fashion, but still. Our reputation has grown a little bit, even if the screenshot does not say so. We finished last season with 2 stars, the growth probably happened in the offseason, but that is good news. Squad : Révélation Keeping my traditional 4-4-2 "Wing Play" and adjusting if I want to play my wingers as midfielders or in a more advanced position. On the left wing, Fötschl is equally adept in both positions, whereas Fonjga is more comfortable further back, in a ML position. On the right, Sorda likes to play as an AMR with an Inside Forward position, his back-up Schwaighofer can play both AMR & MR but as a winger. Sorda had injury issues and was also a pain in the ass during the season, plus we were not seen as favorites for the vast majority of games, so Schwaighofer played a lot more as an MR than Sorda did in AMR, but Sorda frequently came off the bench. Looking at the stats more thoroughly, we still have zero depth in defense. Theiner and Wiedl started all our games (Wiedl still plays out of his preferred position for lack of a better option at Left Back), Hausberger only has a few games less because I wanted to give first team minutes to Bah against the worse teams in the division to speed up his progress. Elsewhere in the team, the good news is that Todorovic is our first regen to make the first team on a regular basis, and Fatih Gül will probably follow quite soon, he is making leaps and bounds while Zottl is clearly regressing. Admin & Facilities : Révélation Did not succeed in getting any better in youth recruitment this year, so junior coaching it is ! Youth Intake : To the good stuff ! I am starting to believe the youth intake preview is not necessarily to be trusted. As a reminder, this was our intake preview : And this is what we got. No striker to be seen. I only took a screenshot of the elite talents because none of the top talents had more than 3 stars of potential. Ivica Kovacic : Mandatory GK of the year. I like his professional personality. Dimitrov (24) is not making any progress, so it will be between Kovacic and Varga for the GK3 spot. Révélation Frank Lieberknecht : His positions are a little bit weird, he is natural in DM, accomplished in AM but not really comfortable playing Central Midfielder, which would be my position of choice for him. With Abesser and Todorovic already locked for future first team spots, we will keep an eye on his progression. Révélation Fadil Aksu : Not thrilled by his 6 in Determination but I believe he could be our starting right back in no time. I like that he has good technical grades, I like my formation to be assymetric and I can imagine him being a WB behind a Inside Forward on the right. Révélation Finn Kiene : Straight to the first-team ! Already my 4th best Central Defender. Hoping that a few years of training will turn him into a regular starter. Révélation Maurice Neumann : I do not have any "attack-oriented" central midfielder, so this is a welcome addition. I will train him to be an advanced playmaker. Révélation Game in a nutshell : Edited November 8, 2023 by Gonner

So, my first order of business was to bring in an assistant manager, and I managed that by bringing Juanma Ortiz to the club. He has some good attributes for the role. Bringing in a new Head of Youth Development was also on my list. While his preferred formation is not what I was looking for, he had better attributes and personality than his predecessor. We brought in a goalkeeping coach who could always be better but is working towards his Continental Pro Licence. We brought in Diego Gutiérrez to improve our fitness coach position after I found out my previous fitness coach had been offered a new contract before I arrived. I brought in Eduardo Laencina to become my leading overall coach at the club. He's got lots of promise, and now that he's studying his Continental C Licence, I believe he'll get better very quickly. I brought in Jorge Corrales to be my new Head Performance Analyst. He's unambitious, but he's suitable for the role in the lower leagues. Juanjo Ramos is my new performance analyst at the club. He's only 23, so he can improve over time. José Alejandro Garcia is probably my most important signing since he is my new Head Physio and is outstanding for our level. Miguel Domingo is my new Head of Sports Science and looks suitable for our level. Lila has joined as our Chief Scout and looks fantastic for our level. Samu also looks great for our level for a scout we just signed. Hugo Issa is our new Director of Football and is a complete upgrade on the man he replaced. We've recently brought in Francisco Dealbert to become our Set Piece Coach. There are some areas that I'm not happy with, but he's useful either way. That's all of the backroom staff members we've brought in over the summer, and now we need to see how we do in the upcoming season. If you want to keep track of the series if I miss a day of posting here, watching videos like the one linked below is the best way to keep track of my attempt at the Youth Academy Challenge in Spain. YAC - Real Jaén - Part 1 Interesting write up about your backroom staff. But why do have two scouts and a Director of Football? It seems overkill with a tight budget and no need for any scouting of transfer targets. I do not think more than one scout to get reports of the opponents is necessary. The Director of Football handles the staff responsibilities, while one scout is scouting the next opponent and the other scout is scouting the league, even if the scouting range is the entirety of Spain. thomas_e
A 3 month injury, an 8 week injury and a 3 week injury in the first week of the season. I get that injuries have been a little bit on the conservative side in previous versions, but this year is brutal!
Anners
I've done a bit of research (I'll say this, rather than trying for a week to get a specific team promoted!) regarding teams getting promoted. I started recording a bit too late, but this is the rough percentage chance of teams to get into the Scottish League 2 Playoff: I've specifically highlighted Broomhill and above, as it seemed fairly "easy" to get those teams. I've taken the reputation from the editor, which roughly matches up with what I experienced. I didn't see anyone below the 2250 "barrier" so to speak I'll be starting a career with Tranent in a little bit, but just wanted to pop this up first. This is probably around 700-800 attempts with holidaying which is why I mentioned a few pages ago and raised the question about it being a bit of a lottery about teams getting promoted.
Potat
So what's the rule regarding using the pre-game editor to increase a team's chances of getting promoted to a playable league? After 50 re-rolls trying to get a specific team, I might have to give a little boost to their reputation to get them promoted.

Won’t be allowed I’d imagine, given you’d have to boost their reputation in order to do so which would be an unfair advantage for managing that particular team from what it was previously. Conversely I don’t think reducing the reputation of other teams would be allowed either given if any of the get promoted at the same time or in a later season they’d be at a disadvantage.

Kudos for the effort put in to find that out. It largely backs up what we assumed was the case. It’s often why I never target a specific team to take over and instead just go with the best on offer rather than reloading 100s of times to get someone specific. Popular Post libbyshuss
Japan - Honda FC/Machida Corriente J1 -2030 (season 7) Objectives: after losing our three best players at the end of last season just staying up would be a result Season Summary Objective met! and quite easily as well. On paper we had a much weaker side but we performed much better. It did dawn on me during pre-season that the side was much more balanced now but even so, it took me by surprise. At one point we were second! In the end we finished a respectable 8th, which will do me Youth I love having double exceptional for youth takes! Seeing an A grade for wingers got me interested. I usually play 4-2-3-1 but have had to switch to a 4-1-2-3 for this save, mainly due to the lack of wingers. So the promise of my own Mitouma got me quite excited. Only... Where is he!!!!!!??? And 2 more strikers!!!! 2 out of those 3 elite talents had poo brain for their personality, which isn't great, but Hachisuka looks like the real deal lovely personality, determination is ok, pace and acceleration very nice. No doubt he'll get some chances next season in the first team Career Next stage is building on the success of this season and seeing if we can break into the continental spots.

Not allowed, as higher reputation will also improve your chances for getting good youth players. In addition to the "no extra files" rules with a small exception for realistic custom databases for lower leagues or countries not in FM vanilla.

Cup Performance: CHAMPION Didn't concede a goal this year in the Cup run North American Champions League: 2047 We left off last year having advanced to the 2nd round to face off against a new Mexican opponent: Toluca. NACL 2nd Round Spoiler Luckily Carrillo recovered early from an injury and was fully fit for the first leg and of course I started him. They put lots of pressure on us early and I dropped us into a less aggressive version of the base tactic pulling down the high-press. We survived the early offensive and then in the 35’ our midfield won the ball at the half line and played the ball over the top to Carrillo who blasted it near post to give us the lead! We hold till the 67’ when it looks like they got a goal, but VAR was our friend and it got called back. At this point I had pulled Carrillo as I don’t want to risk an injury reocurrance and we are dropping into a more defensive posture to try and see out the game. Unfortunately in the 82’ we lost control and things got very fast and though we held them off for multiple attempts their final counter found the equalizer. But then we yet again surprise in Mexico with a kick-off highlight goal! Weeks was brought on as WB-R and found Nurse unmarked in the box and he puts the shot by the keeper. What a Win! Now we play host to our sold out crowd. Same lineup as we kept yellow-free so no suspensions. 25’ we hit them on a quick counter attack after winning it at the top of our own box and what do you know my midfielders find Carrillo making the run over the top and he beats the GK to get his 2nd goal of the tie. Then in the 33’ they pull one back on us, but after that we hold them and things quiet down for the middle third of the match. Then in the 63’ our GK Harris starts with a big boot down the field that their CDs don’t deal with properly and a second ball over from our playmaker finds (you guessed it) Carrillo beating his man and he blasts it in first time earning a brace on the night. 80’ they find another with their striker getting behind my backline and 1v1 beating our GK. Now can we hold them. This is where we were at last year. Up 1 goal, 10 minutes left. We pack it in and weathered the storm to draw 2-2 on the night and advance beyond the second round for the first time! NACL Quarter Final Spoiler We get the first leg in Barbados. We are dominating possession, but a mistake by our WB-L gives them a nasty cross right into a striker to get an early lead. Carrillo is getting chances but fails to convert with their GK getting the stops. Nothing really materializes for us in the game as they just pack in in for the rest of the match and it ends a 0-1 loss. Going to be hard in Mexico for the reverse fixture. First half we are doing well with possession and creating chances, but in the 41’ a defensive lapse sees them get a deflected goal to make the deficit 2. Carrillo is getting the chances he just isn’t finishing tonight and unfortunately, they are as in the 53’ they put another away against us. Then Finally Carrillo scores in response at 54’. Then 63’ they score a corner and that basically ends the game. NACL Semi-Final Spoiler Nope NACL Final Spoiler Nope NACL Knockout Tree: Spoiler And who ended up winning the whole tournament? Atlas of course. Guess we can’t be too upset falling to them in the QF. 2048 Caribbean Zone Group A: Honestly surprised of how much we dominated this year. Only close game was against Humble Lion, but that wasn't a surprise as they've been a top team for years. Caribbean Playoff: We have Cibao from the Dominican Republic. Will update from here on next season. Reserve & U18s: Squad: You'll notice we are developing strikers the best of any position with all 4 of our strikers in the top 10 CA players. Depth is helpful considering they are all injury prone. Spoiler Transfers: I messed up signing a youth intake player too late so he left and returned to the club. He probably will never play for us so I'll just let him go when his contract expires. Spoiler Best XI: FM Screenshots: Excel Tables: Slowly upgrading this. Haven't decided what the 6th stat should be for the season. Spoiler Head Coach: Club Improvements: Continuing the trend of using the large Cup prize money to fund facility upgrades. Also even though yet again the council rejected the stadium expansion the club ended up doing it anyways like 2 years later. Slow and expensive upgrades to the ground, but it is making a difference. Spoiler Team renegotiated the Stadium & Main Shirt Sponsor this Fall and it went up about 50%. While this save has seen increases in prize money due to league reputation increases there hasn't been the miraculous Year 20 Broadcast deal boost. Also, for whatever reason there is no Continental Broadcast money. Spoiler Current Facilities: Spoiler Youth Academy: HOYD: New man is looking solid. Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: Umm, what? Apparently, the best player of this Golden Generation is D rated… This is the most confusing preview. Youth Intake: For those of you in major countries this would be disappointing, but honestly from a CA perspective this isn't bad for Barbados. Tre Stoute is actually in our top 10 list of highest CA intake players at 61. Where this intake is underwhelming is when you look at personalities and determinations, which are significantly below what we were averaging before. Is his first intake though. Top 3 Players: We have another CAM style player for our midfield 3 And another Left Footed minitureCM who has some wicked pace there. I plan to retrain him as a WB-L as I'm very light on attacking depth there and with how tiny he is I don't know if i want to play him centrally. Excel Tables: Slowly reworking my excel system, so the graphs are temporary for now. Barbados National Team: This year the big games are at the end of the year in the preliminary matches for World Cup Qualifying. Barbados got a very easy first draw with Aruba, who they easily dispatched. Next up is the much more difficult Dominican Republic. Hopefully, they can surprise again and make their second WCQ Group Phase! Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Barbados Youth: Notice our CD (listed as a DM) is with Italy not Barbados Barbadian’s Around the World: English Academy Players: MLS Academy Players: Caribbean Academy Players: Other Nations: Summary What a great showing in the NACL and continuing to steadily dominate Barbados. So far we have been able to hold onto all our players and our stars are on 3-5 year contracts, so squad should be steady for the next few seasons. First team is fairly balanced, but I really could use some CD's to come through our intakes to have some youth prospects.
Popular Post heutheo
FC Drava Ptuj - Slovenia Season 3 - 2026/27 History Spoiler Start Season 1 Season 2 League Spoiler Welcome to the season 3 recap. It was a rough season starting with a long winless run and many losses. Good thing is, I've managed to fix our away weakness (top half of the season), bad thing is we won't win at home anymore. I'm now playing in a 4222, my favorite system and it seems to work. Until the winter I've tested many systems but sticking with a good old wingerless always warms my heart. Our big rivals Aluminij managed to gain promotion with a superb run in the last few games. The relegated team from the top flight Bistrica were horrible. But luckily for them to 2 promoted teams were even worse. Krsko have only won one game and as you can imagine, they've done it against us - in our stadium... Hopefully the next season starts better. In our best 11 you can clearly see that this was our worst season and hopefully will stay our worst for quite a while. You can also see that our 19 goals striker isn't even part of it, that's because he got injured early and never really came back to where he was. Best player award then goest to Sinisa Mlakar, an academy player, who also got injured in the end. With Maj Penic really shining in the new system. Let's not talk about these crazy stats. Best LB Slovenia has ever seen. But he performs. They* call him the slovenian Iniesta. *Me Stadium Spoiler A new season ticket holder joined the family - progress. The bad results really hit our attendances, leaving us with an average of 30 less per game. And even Aluminij couldn't sellout the derby. Speaking of it, the 1k mark once again was exceeded, but now Aluminij are gone and with that goes our money I guess. Intake Spoiler The intake preview was kinda meh when already having a promising striker. Lack of wingers isn't that big of a problem for me. Now sawing the intake itself made me wish for that striker, cause now we've got 4 promising left backs in the club and no club is willing to pay transfer fees in 2.SNL. I now have to retrain them, let's look at the top 3: There is Mario Spiegel a half Slovak half Austrian from Bratislava. He has good Mentals and decent pace but lacks height, he will probably stay as a left back, but I have to see where his technicals will develop. Borut won't stay a left back, he will probably slot into defensive midfield as he lacks pace and is a bit taller but nowhere near the first team for now. And then there is mister unambitious with 16 Determination. Mister 2 meters with 3 heading and 5 strength. I think I already love you - mister Zvonko. Summary Thanks for reading!

Full list of results in the spoiler Spoiler Down the middle for season 2 youths Just the one player really stands out from the elite players The full list of Intakes, did bring up a few interesting 2nd Nationalities of Burundi, Lebanese, and Moroccan. With the Burundi player being the 1st youth player not born in Lidingö. Spoiler The 4 month break before the new season also means I'll be able to work on the National B License. Though with a "Full" squad of around 50 players including all the youth prospects, most of this week is probably going to be spent formation planning / training planning. At a quick glance, the team is very midfield heavy, so it may end up with a 3-5-2 or even a 3-6-1.

The_Gato_In_Goal
Are other people playing in England experiencing the same difficulty hiring staff as I am? I've not been able to hire any staff members outside of the HOYD and Assistant Coach (so no Physios and no youth staff at all, meaning I've had to manage the U18s for the entire save). It's been like this for 4-5 seasons: staff are interested, but the max wage I can offer is well below the expectation of even the worst staff. I am not allowed to offer non contracts to staff, so I can't hire anyone. I've asked the board for increasing max wage for first team staff, but it's still below the min expectation for any medical staff even after 4 years of increases. And there's no option to ask the board for youth team staff wage increases and they aren't tied to the first team increases.

Popular Post Anners
Right, away we go with Tranent FC in Scotland! Bit of a challenge ahead - no youth recruitment in place! Although that isn't the only big challenge ahead... Our team for the 24/25 League 2 season: Seems the club have forgotten something... Our 2 central defenders Miller and McInally are 6'1 and 6'5 respectively, with not completely horrible defensive stats so they will have to do for now. They'll learn how to play in the centre of the defence eventually! We're actually extremely strong going forward, with a front 3 moving forward of Lennon Walker (MCL in the picture) on the left, Broque Watson on the right with Kallum Higginbotham leading the line. Popular Post the_hdk
Transfer History 10th season and finally our first Trophy! Last year we lost the Emperors Cup Final. But this year we ware crowned CHAMPIONS of JAPAN!. Our first. Sadly cups we did less good, altough we did get into J. LEague Semi-Finals. In Asian CL we got knocked out in QFs by Incheon...and our old player YAMADA. That was...painfull. We had to sell him to break even....as many players are now earning really alot of money. Sadly our 4th spot last year did not get us into Cups this year...so another try at CL will happen next September. The usual suspects ware the best of the season. IMAZEKI with 27 goals in teh league and TopScorer. After the sale of YAMADA the only new player in first 11 was Kenji KOBAYASHI who was on loan last seaosn in J2 at Albirex where he was crowned TopScorer in J2. This year in his rookie seaosn at Veertien he scored 25 and assisted for 17! What a year! Sadly succes comes with a price. Half of the team is unsetteled and wants to move on to Europe. Popular Post Neo_Geo
WASPS LACK STING BUT SURVIVE Bronshoj Boldklub - Season 1 (24/25) League Spoiler Pleased to have survived the first season as it was a battle as I can't remember ever having to tinker as much with the formation and playing style to pick up points. This was necessary because this squad is not very good: the defence is slow and leaky, midfield virtually non-existent in matches and the strikers seem incapable of hitting the target most of the time. The season actually started fantastically with us being 7 games unbeaten (3 wins and 4 draws) and reached 2nd in the league. Then it was 7 games without a win (4 losses and 3 draws) before turning it round with 3 wins in a row before a heavy 4-1 loss to Young Boys FD right before the mid-season break. In the end we missed out on securing our safety in the preliminary stage by 3 goals and VSK Aarhus were the top form team at that point so they really pushed for safety and deserved it. In the relegation group we had an 11 point buffer at the start and thanks to a 5 game winning streak we managed to secure enough points to stay up although we did finish 2nd in relegation group (8th overall as I am calling it) as Ringkobing IF were too strong for us in the head to head. I can't complain though, it was a really tough but enjoyable season though I have 7 players now the wrong side of 30 (one is 37 and another 36) so I need to hope I have enough quality coming through to maintain our position in the league. Cups Spoiler No cup competition this year, assuming its down to not automatically qualifying for it given we were just promoted. Youth Spoiler Not the greatest looking preview but a top prospect in central midfield sounded good to me given we were very poor in midfield I was quite pleased with the intake, there is a decent enough number who can contribute straight away: In the end it was Bruun YP25-A who stood out scoring a couple of goals in 5 games and averaging at 7.26. Hoffman YP25-A went straight in as he was 16 from the intake, the others had to wait until they were old enough to be eligible. Bruun in particular looks like a really hard worker and potential captain with 17 determination, 17 teamwork and 15 leadership. work rate of 15 and natural fitness of 14. He certainly had a big impact in linking the midfield with attack in the games he played in so I am looking forward to seeing how he will develop. Club Spoiler Nothing really to mention here, no money in the bank so to speak therefore I haven't requested upgrades (improve youth recruitment isn't even visible at this point). I've also been unable to get a coaching license course agreed to as the board are afraid I'll move on and the discussion after only gives me the one option which they then shoot down. It's going to be a tougher save financially than what I had in England but the seasons feel that much shorter that I can take the rough with the smooth. Bingo Spoiler Nothing to daub on the bingo card at the moment.

Popular Post JLAB
Real Jaén - Season 1 - Our Debut Match With all of the teams around us being able to make signings, we immediately knew that we were at a disadvantage from the off. Ideally, we could beat our opening opponent, newly promoted Gerena, and beat them to get the ball rolling. Thankfully, we were able to win our debut game in charge of Real Jaén at home to Gerena. When we scored the opening two goals inside 11 minutes from setpieces, I knew that things were going well. We did have a scare when Julen scored in the 2nd half for Gerena, but we bounced back with Sánchez Robles scoring a superb individual goal on his professional debut for us to bring the scoreline back to 3-1. The fact Martos missed a penalty late on showed that we did have work to do, but the early signs from our debut win were good. I decided to watch the game on extended highlights to see how we looked in person and figure out if we needed to tinker things overall. Though I'm sure I'll find things to do later on, I decided to record the opening encounter, which you can watch using the link to the YouTube video down below. Popular Post KingKCrush
CSC Ghiroda - SuperLiga - Romania - Season 2 Start - 2025 After a successful first season, we are thrown straight into the deep end of the Romanian SuperLiga. With the weakest squad in the league, no new transfers and increasingly ageing regular players, I don't really expect anything other than relegation. That however means the season can't be disappointing at all... right? Spoiler Squad Changes As the last YI was relatively disappointing, there are no really important changes to the team. Nevertheless, I have brought 3 youth players up to the first team: Spoiler The most promising of the trio is probably Valentin Circov. The star from the last YI could very well earn himself a regular place in the first team quite quickly. In the beginning, he will be our backup playmaker but we dont really have that much quality in our central midfield anyway so he really has a chance. Since our old backup right winger is 38 years old now and rapidly declining, I decided to give Martinas a chance to prove himself in the first League. Obviously hes not good enough for that level of football but maybe he can make an impact as a sub. Also, I dont really have a better player . My starting left back is 33 now so I need a backup for him too. But I'm really scared to let this guy play. He's actually far too slow as a full-back and his positioning is terrible but he can tackle well and, and this is probably the most crucial point, I don't have anyone else in that position. Transfers No big transfers here. I just decided to loan out some youngsters since they didnt develop last season. Spoiler Training Since we had a lot of injuries and a really weak player development last season, I decided to take care of the training my self and to put a lot of focus on player development. However I had no idea how that works so, I started researching and I think I found a good schedule. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Head of Youth Development The last YI was a disappointment. But not because of the lack of quality of the new youngsters. That was predictable due to our poor facilities. It was because of the bad personalities. That's why I decided to fire our HOYD and hire a new one. Thanks to the enhanced reputation, we were able to attract significantly better applicants. In the end, I chose Latovlevici. A perfectionist like him will hopefully give his all to guarantee the best possible YI. Spoiler Other We have 3.2k new followers on social media. Yay!

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2029 (Season 6) - Eliteserien Squad | Transfers | Finances We did much better than I had expected up here in the top tier. Sure, we got an occasional spanking, but we also managed to draw many of the better teams at times. The quality of our squad is one of the worst ones, but we are still not being totally outclassed. The first few seasons in the top tier is always about getting a hang of the level, and slowly getting the team in position to slowly work our way up the table. We mostly just stayed around the middle of the table, so guess that's our current level. The best youth players this season were: Kenneth Gjøsund 26c - He is becoming a major factor for us, but he is still on a part time deal as he has so far refused to sign a new contract. I hope he will sign though. Omar Brødholt 24b - Finally has become a first choice in the midfield this season. Does ok, but not amazing. Herman Bratseth 26a - Spearheads our attack, and scores most of our goals. Does struggle at times, but we found it hard to score in general this season. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Måløy, Fredrikstad, and Moss before we lost to Rosenborg in extra time in the 4th round. Europa League: Since we won the cup last season we got into Europe this season. We had a tough draw as we lost to Dutch side AZ in the 1st qualification round. We luckily beat them 1-0 at home, but they were too good in the Netherlands and we lost overall. Europa Conference: After getting knocked out of the Europa League we got dumped down into the Europa Conference League. Here we got an even harder draw and got thumped out by Valencia of Spain in the 3rd qualifying round. Around the world 2nd team: They only played friendlies this season. U19s: They crushed the opponents and won the Oslo Kretsserie G19 this season. In the promotion playoffs they beat Lørenskog before they lost to Kristiansund in the final. NM G19: They lost to HamKam in the 1st round. Popular Post Anners
Previous Post: 4 hours ago, Anners said: Right, away we go with Tranent FC in Scotland! 2024/25 Season Report: Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Well that was completely unexpected! We were helped out massively by the fact Edinburgh City started the season incredibly slow and then finished the season incredibly slow, allowing us to sneak home the title by a solitary point. Nothing of note happened with the Cup Competitions we entered as I was trying my best to concentrate on the League season. We managed a win in the League Cup Group Stage, but nothing more. We got past Highland League side Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup Second Round, before losing in a replay against Championship side Queen's Park. Youth: As mentioned in the introductory post, Tranent didn't have any youth facilities in place at the start of the save. I asked all year, but it was only after winning the title whereby we could try to persuade the board to improve the youth recruitment (which they have, thankfully!) That's all for the first post here - there isn't much to digest without a youth intake so next season will probably feel like the first one for me!
BustaRaymes
This is proving to be a tough season. The only goalkeeper we have is this fine specimen: The man made a few good looking saves but most games I could've tied a single rope between the posts and it would've kept out more than he did.
Popular Post thomas_e
Beating Bayern Munchen for the first time when doing this save in Germany is always a milestone. Popular Post DrJones
Oriental Dragon 2027/28 A really strange first season in the third tier. We were absolutely useless in the beginning and I was worried if we even had the capacity to stay up, then out of nowhere we went mad and won seven games in a row and qualified for the championship group where you battle for promotion to the second tier. Our crazy form continued and we won the three opening games and when I was the most satisfied, we didn´t win one of the eleven remaining games.. I´ve noticed that there is a huge difference between the newly relegated teams from the second tier and the rest of us so this division will get tricky to get out of. Squad Top players (chinese) Our best defender by far, despite his personality he´s been developing a lot. The fan favourite finally made his debut for China! The only one so far in our squad. Popular Post Virtual Male
After thinking that I'd lost the save to it corrupting and having a sad afternoon I remembered why I backup my important saves externally. I lost a month or so but nothing that changes anything worth noting, still the same intake etc. I've no idea what caused the save file to die but after some googling I've seen that there's been people having some issues when adding playable leagues after the start of a save (which is something I'd done) so I assume that's what did it. Season 9 3032/33 Manager Profile - Competitions - Finances - Facilities Competitions Vanarama National League (Past Positions) - Going into the season I thought we might be able to do something but I wasn't expecting to finish the season sat at the top of the table! We moved into 1st early on and never went anywhere else, in the end it looked quite comfortable. The Emirates FA Cup - 1st round exit after an early red against Bromely. The Isuzu FA Trophy - The less said about this one the better, 3rd round exit against Gillingham. Squad - As a whole I'm very happy with the players I have at my disposal. Lots of players with potential, to a point that I'm actually having a bit a headache giving everyone the gametime that they need.... Will need to start making use of the loan market next season I think. Ryan Astley (2025YP9) - More goal contributions than games played for the 3rd consecutive season as an attacking midfielder, I really can't say enough positive things about this guy. I am a little worried he might not be able to make the step up into the Football League but we'll see. Alun Duckett (2030YP9) - By far the teams best player and he's been the main man this year with 33 league goals. Once I got the opportunity I got him tied down to a long-ish contract and massively overpaid with bonuses to get rid of the release clauses he was after. I can't imagine he'll want to renew further than he currently has with him being rated a 'leading' League 1 player currently with room to improve so I've started making plans for when he's off in a year or two already. Youth Intake (Preview) - Another decent intake with two stand out players. Nothing special with personalities. Robert Jones (2033YP1) - Straight in with first team quality, I'll have to move things around a little bit to get him some semi-regular gametime next season but he looks like he could be something special if we can keep other teams away. David Gregory (2033YP2) - Another that'll be in the first team next season, not sure he's the same quality as Jones but with full time training I'm hoping he'll be one of the best at the club by the times he's 18. Transfers & Finances - Nothing notable with transfers, just a couple that were never going to make the grade leaving for frees. The bank balance is looking quite healthy and we made a small profit even after the infrastructure spend was taken into account, the wage bill has ballooned with the club turning professional though so I'm going into the season expecting to be losing money, I'm just not sure how much. Other - As a result of the promotion into the Football League we turn professional and spent the profit made over the season on some stadium work to being the seating capacity up to meet the League rules. We also convinced the board to send us to complete the Continental B Licence despite their protests that it might make us too attractive to other teams. Bingo Card - Managed to get a fair few marked off this season with the back to back promotions, 16/100 I'm not really sure what to expect going into the first season in the Football League, we'll be favourites to come straight back down I'd imagine but it's only the bottom 2 that go down and I'm backing the team to do better than that... Only time will tell.

Popular Post officiallydeej
Dulwich Hamlet - 2024/25 Vanarama National League South - 7th A really impressive outing for our first season, culminating in a 7th placed finish sneaking us into the final playoff spot. We started very well with 10 wins from our first 12, before dropping off the pace when the hard two game a week winter months kicked in. We picked up again at the end of the season beating Bath and Yeovil in our final two league games to pip Dover to 7th. We put in a terrific performance away at Hemel Hempstead in our first playoff game but unfortunately the Wealdstone game came only three days later and was a bridge too far for our fatigued squad. I'd already lost our star striker to a shock retirement (more on that later) and our best player damaged his spine in the final league game so we really were running on empty. Still, a great first outing and plenty of reason to be optimistic going forward. One thing I didn't realise until it came to renewing contracts is that Dulwich Hamlet are already professional. I've never seen this in England at this level before and it's huge for player development in this challenge. Cups A decent run in the FA cup saw us get to the fourth qualifying round where we lost out to Ebbsfleet United on a weekend where we had three players representing Caribbean clubs on international duty. We lost in the FA Trophy without much of a fight against runaway league winners Maidstone. Star Players Experienced striker Danny Mills was the real star of the show, netting 30 goals in 32 starts, including 16 in his first 9. You may notice his screenshot was taken in December, this was because he broke his left and promptly retired! We didn't really have a suitable replacement for him and I was forced to retrain a winger who didn't really cut it. Ade Shokunbi is our best player ability wise and chipped in with 12 goals and 14 assists from midfield, however he unfortunately damaged his spine in the final league game of the season and will be missing for the start of the next campaign. Our defence is held together by big Marvel Ekpiteta, with the Stevenage academy product only missing 4 games all season. Youth Intake Paul Moro 25b is the best player in the intake and already a decent player for this level, at least on paper. He went straight into the team for the last league game and playoffs and didn't disappoint, turning in 3 appearances at an average rating of 7. He has a good personality and I'm optimistic he'll star next season and maybe make us some money further down the line. Rakeem Thomas 25c provides much needed depth up front following the retirement of Mills, immediately becoming our second best striker by rating. Bas Panamarenko 25g is another striker, and although raw I'm always a sucker for a high finishing stat in lower league football. Admin Our finances held up well through the season, we were making money up until the point of me requesting an academy coaching upgrade. This was approved now take our AC rating to Good. No transfers in of course, however we did periodically lose players throughout the season who were out of contract and couldn't be persuaded to renew. Three of the five we lost were strikers which left us very light at the top of the pitch.

The Manager "Ron Longerschlong" Courtesy of AI Ron Longerschlong, the new manager of Delhi Football Club, is a distinctive figure in the world of football. Born in Swindon on November 1, 1988, he often humorously attributes his departure from his hometown to the town's less-than-stellar reputation. Standing at a modest 5 feet 4 inches, Ron is instantly recognizable with his unique appearance. His distinct features include a moustache reminiscent of a 1980s male adult entertainer, making him stand out in the football world. He sports a hairstyle that can only be described as a combination of a bowl cut and mullet, affectionately referred to as the "Bowllet." Some have jokingly likened his appearance to that of a young Sam Allardyce and Pat Sharp as if their features underwent a collision with a substantial and weighty object. Ron is known for his no-nonsense approach to the game. He's a passionate supporter of the 4-4-2 formation and is adamant about developing young talents, refusing to rely on the transfer market. He's the kind of manager who isn't afraid to kick a water bottle in frustration when his players underperform, earning him a reputation as a tough but fair leader. One of Ron's most notable quirks is his struggle with the intense Indian heat. Being overweight, he often finds the conditions challenging, but he never lets it deter him from his commitment to the club and the players' development. Despite his eccentric appearance and unique coaching style, Ron Longerschlong has already left his mark on Delhi Football Club, proving that it's not about the manager's looks but the results on the field that truly matter. The Season So Far The highlighted match was where I stopped playing until the match engine was fixed and the full game was released. As you can see We have been unbeaten in the League since the update. There seems to be no goal-scoring machine in my team, the highest has 7 and this is him Chhangte Fernandes, with his 4 Finishing and 5 composure. I have been using all the good players from the last intake to improve them with the GK and both playmakers getting game time as well as all the strikers. I will hopefully give you an update at the end of the year. Hopefully, I win something we have been knocked out of the Durand Cup so now it is just the league and the Indian Federation Cup , we currently sit 3rd in the League Update* Edited November 8, 2023 by Coxbox
