BustaRaymes
5 hours ago, XaW said: I would only think that level of regression would be possible with a major injury, like a broken spine or something... I know that major injuries in very rare occasions can actually lower PA, and if his CA was at PA then the CA would have to be lowered to match the new PA. But as I said, that's for the very rare occasions and afaik only is linked to injuries. In a completely unrelated question, has anyone else managed in South Africa lately? I finally hired a HoYD, but I still don't get youth previews, so I'm wondering if it's not something that happens there for any reason? I still don't have an assistant or anything, so still have to manage the youth team too, albeit I tab out and do other things while the game plays! Injury would explain it a bit better yeah, as I can understand this as a way of making sure players don't reach their level anymore after a serious injury. But he has only been out for a few weeks and that was months before this drop. I don't mind it happening and I wouldn't mind if this was a bug. Maybe just a bit unlucky that it happened to our most talented player :') But I'd just like to know what it could be.

North American Champions League: Caribbean Zone: Worst showing for us in a long time as we didn't make it out of the group stage. Things were already dicy after a disapointing 1-1 draw at home to Pantoja and then it really ended when we couldn't defeat the Jamaican side Mount Pleasant. NACL Tournament Tree: North America got a new first time champion in Tijuana. They really haven't been strong at all this save and somehow pulled off a great run for their first NACL title. Spoiler Squad: CA Player List: We've got the next generation in the top 5 with two 27/28-year-olds, two 23-year-olds and a 20 year-0ld fully eclipsing our senior three players who have lost all their speed. Should have a good 5 years with these players maintaining/improving. Spoiler Excel Graphs: We are at the end of a generation and waiting for the next generation to develop so are lacking depth in the squad. In particular, we still haven't recovered our strikeforce to makeup for the retiring Nurse. For Personalitiy we see the drop of high professional players continuing (both with & without determination) and the Spoiler While our top 2 players are stable (WBL& GK), you can see the dropping off of our 4&5 players as the previous players were older players and the young players replacing them are of a lower CA. Important to me is the trend up in the Midfielders & Defender players in the 1500 Min chart while you see the drop off in the Attackers. However, on a whole the squad is trending up which is fantastic news! We just need to develop our attack again and we will have a record strong squad. Player Highlights: I'll just show the top 5 CA players currently in the squad as I'll save the youth discussion for the end of the post. What is notable here is that all 5 of these players are Defensive. #1) WBL #2) GK #3) WBR/DM #4) WBR #5) CD. Transfers: Only one big sale of my Vice Captain D Lloyd who was 33 and starting to slow down significantly. Without games in the NACL I didn't see the need to hold onto him longer so almost 500k from Saudi with just 1 month left in the season was worth it. Instead of selling off my squad players I loaned them again this year. Spoiler Best XI: FM Screenshots: Excel Tables: In career stats, Emanuele Mastrantoni is so close to 500 appearances for us and he's 34 and still one of our best DMs. If I can keep him from retiring for 2 more years he might break that threshold. Nurse sadly won't break the 500 for goals as he is retiring at the end of the season. Spoiler Head Coach: Spoiler Club Improvements: Still building our Stadium & no other upgrades / affiliates. Youth Academy: HOYD: Very happy with C Mighty. Something I haven't mentioned (and I feel is relevant) is I've finally been able to hold onto my U18 Manager for a long period of time and he's pretty good. What I've found out is that by choosing a Coach who is only partially good at Head Coaching there hasn't been the poaching I experienced with every other U18 Manager, which has helped E Nunez gain a ton of reputation (by wining U18 league every year) and become a very good Head Coach. Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: For Once I had to do 2 screenshots to cover all the "C" Grade players in the intake. But more importantly C Mighty Promises 2 A Rated Players!! Youth Intake: Boy did he not disappoint as this was an unbelievably good intake! We struggle at this point to have even 1 Elite Talent a year, and this time we had 4 with some good Top Talents. Shame the personalities are so trash, but that's why there's mentoring. Top Players: Spoiler Two Star Current Ability: Two have high potential and are awesome base set ups for Offensive players! Jackson might be our next generation of star striker to follow in Nurse and Carrillo’s footsteps. Stoute should be good as an the AML-IW or even switch it up and play him as a wide playmaker. Two have medium potential but easily will slot right in to our defense & DM spots. Hareword is perfectly timed to take over for our 35-year-old DM and Grant already is good enough to be a rotation CD. One and a Half Star Current Ability. High potential unfortunately Howell has an awful personality, and then Bancroft actually could be decent if he develops. Excel Tables: Spoiler Still showing that Professionalism is below Ambition for the 15 or Greater part as well as the combination of 10 Amb+Det continues to be the dominant combination. Look at that jump up in the top 5 CA! Not only in the first chart, but in the stacked bars for the CA Ranges you can see it's not just the top, but there is a quality of depth in this intake that we've NEVER seen before in this save! The downside is awful determination this year, but I'll take it. We have 2 new entrants into the Top 10 intake players this year with Rondelle Grant DC (78) & Renaldo Harewood DM (71)! Still a mess and hard to tell from this static piechart how its changing. From looking at the data we are seeing a growth in some of the lesser medium level personalities especially the Ambitious-leaning ones (Mercenary, Fickle, Fairly Determined). Barbados National Team: I'll add in Edit as we have Gold Cup this summer & World Cup Qualies! Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Spoiler Barbados Youth: Spoiler Caribbean International Performance: Same will add in edit Summary An awful performance in continental play is erased by a generational intake. What is most amazing is not only did I get the current ability & potential necessary, but they are in the positions we need the most help in! Last year we got a ST & DM-SV. This year we got a second Striker (who can play AMR), AML, 2 DMs & 2 CDs. What we didn't get (WB & GK) are 3 of our top 5 current players. Thus, *IF* I can develop this generation properly I have the possibility of a full Starting XI of players pushing the top-end of our CA. Powering through these couple rebuilding years has been rewarded!

Popular Post Brentmeister
Season 8 Summary We're going on a European adventure! An excellent season saw us in and around the Championship group for large parts of the season, only for us to fall into the Second Phase towards the end. It didn't matter though as we dominated the Second Phase and secured our European playoff with 3 games to spare. We faced 5th-placed Westerlo who edged out Genk (they would've been much tougher to play) at their ground in a 1-match shoot-out for a place in The Conference League. We were rarely troubled and ran out comfortable winners to secure our first taste of European football. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Youth 4 elite talents led by GK Jan Dekkers With excellent handling, reflexes, and agility, he could be pushing for the number 1 shirt in a few seasons. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Finances We had to say goodbye to another star player this season. Our best player had his paltry 2.5m release clause activated by AS Saint-Étienne, which means no sell-on fee either He promptly became a wonderkid (we still haven't had one!) with a valuation of between 39 and 62m. Because of the new stadium loan and continued losses, we still haven't been able to persuade the board for any upgrades or coaching courses. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Other Stuff ~ We passed 300 games in management ~ We got our first job offer of the save from rivals AA Gent Our league history since we took over. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Edited December 8, 2023 by Brentmeister
Popular Post Anners
I'm not a huge fan of doing updates during the season, but the first 2 months of the season have had a lot of... developments. First off, Callum Templeman gets a £10m sale (he already said he wouldn't sign a new contract, so figured to cash in now). West Ham are the current Conference League holders. Followed up by something I might consider a mistake, but the transfer window was closing. Thomas Scott gets sold to Blackburn for £1m. Stupidly low price, but they were the only team willing to negotiate at that level to enable me to put a 50% next sale fee in. They are a Premier League Club and is already worth in excess of £60m, so I'm hoping a bigger team comes in with a big fee to get us a decent fee in the future. I've also taken the opportunity to sell the 50% fee clause for Conner Sneddon. This has brought us in another £13m into the club. So, I'm somewhat expecting to be in a proper fight against relegation this year as our back 4 are currently two 18 year olds and two 16 year olds. But in something out of a comic book, Captain Frimpong has had other ideas in the first 3 games of the season: Yes, Hibs also got a -15 point deduction for going into administration in mid-July. This is already feeling like a bit of an... interesting season. Edited December 8, 2023 by Anners

Popular Post Ron_Swanson
[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 16 - 2038 Very nice that we got some depth in defence. Mikael Ahl is versatile all-around defender so plenty of playing time for him. Jonas Gustafsson also should be very handy Yes, yes, yes, finally, a promotion!! It was almost a lost case as we were down by 5 points after 28 games and we needed a miracle of Umea FC getting just one point max in those last two games and it happened. What a fantastic season. Just look at that scoring spree Eddie Nelen had, leagues top scorer with 38 goals (only in sepetmber 4 games - 13 goals). Hugo Holmgren quickly became a solid DR fixing a hole after David left. We were also great with finances, cups group stage (away game vs AIK) earned us enough to get training facilities upgrade and later we got IFK Goteborg in second round. We lost of course but ended up with almost 400k in bank account. I asked for another upgrade but trainign facilities were denied due to financial situation and youth facilites were not available "Are you winning son?" He wanted to play in better club than Reymersholms but there was not a lot interest and he chose Torns IF - a typical mid-table team from southern Division 1. He played a decent season, they finished 10th and I think he might regret his decision a little

Popular Post Daddy
2028/29 Season Review - Belgian Third Tier - Season 5 For the first time, I think, ever for me, in any FM game, my problem was not defense but offense. Dead last in goals for as a team. I tried a few more wide-open tactics and just ended up giving up more goals while not scoring enough. Finished in Relegation playoffs, but survived. Not much business this past season. Overall a pretty good intake with a player who looks like a legit talent. My first thought was that in a season or two I'm going to get a real good clause on his transfer. I got 4 games out of him lol. 12K is a rip-off, but he wanted a promise to sell at 16K. With those margins, the biggest factor was getting that 50% profit. His value is now 500K-9.8M. This is my biggest lottery ticket, but I have quite a few other 40-50% clauses on players that could net millions for the club. 2029/30 Season Preview The left was how it looked before I sold a bunch of players with a year left that wouldn't resign. The after on the right doesn't paint a rosy picture. I legitimately don't know how it will go.

Matsusipida
IFK Lidingö season 7 / 2030 Well, what can I say, kinda mixed feelings about the season. We didn't play as well as last season and we only got 49 points compared to last seasons 57 points. Somehow we still found ourselves fighting for promotion and finished the season on 3rd place. Teams were extreme close to each other with only 10 points between 3rd and 14th place. In Swedish Cup we lost on first round. Spoiler Squad Frej Ahlin 27D came back from loan spells and was just brilliant on LD position with 8 assists. Calle Sjöberg was our top goalscorer with 8 goals and 9 assists. Brenner Toris who scored 20 goals two years ago lost his streak totally. He scored 3 goals early in the season and then only one penalty goal in the last 23 league games. Omerhan Kücük 28C was retrained as striker to fill in out of form Brenner Toris and Pourshahidi who had a long term injury. I'm finally considering droping Eliah Kronholm to a backup GK. He just concedes too many easy goals. We have two promising GKs Landström 28B and Simon Didrik 30C. Spoiler Spoiler Youth intake was pretty nice. Jonatan Sletsjøe 30A and Marcus Wikman 30B allready took their places in rotation. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler transfers Spoiler Finances are pretty similar to last year and no progres in facilities either. PandaQC
Minebea Mitsumi FC (Japan) - Season 3 - 2026 Painful season. From start to finish. Got saved by a late goal in the promotion/relegation game ! One of my best player, midfielder Nagayoshi, was injured most of the season. We lost a lot of keys games during the season. Our players can barley cope with J1 League talent for now. Two major players are leaving the team at the end of this season. My goalkeeper (retiring) and my central defender (he doesn't want to renew his contract). Therefore this is with an inexperienced defense that I will start next season. This is frightening ! J1 League results Spoiler Youth intake Happy with this year's intake. Got two young players with good potential and very good personalities. A left fullback, and a central midfieleder. They are both "Light Hearthed" and "Unflappable". Both are locals, born in Miyazaki. I will immediatley integrate them in first team rotation. Spoiler Spoiler Finances and facilities This is a nightmare. Board has put us deep in debt to buy this brand new 10 000-seat stadium... and we don't even play in it anymore because J1 League requirement is 15 000 seats ! We are playing in another stadium with 20 000 seats, that we are renting. And there is no plan to increase the number of seats in the 10 000-seat stadium. We have bought a stadium that is not used... Because our financials are bad, directors are rejecting most of my requests to improve facilities. Youth recruitement is still at 1. Awful. I guess I will have to wait 1 or 2 additional seasons to have the debt under control thanks to J1 League money. And then go from there. Squad Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Next year preview Avoiding relegation will be hard. We will try to survive and integrate young players in the rotation. Also by repaying debt, we will hopefully get in a better financial situation that will allow us to improve Youth Recruitment. We are in a bad situation for now. Popular Post dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 6 (2029/30) Championship Unexpectedly, we stayed up! We started off in relegation form, but then had a good run of form towards Christmas and never looked back, finishing a solid 6th. Players The reason we stayed up is without doubt our star striker Tony Jukes 05a (ST), who is by far our best player and scored roughly a goal every 2 games. He is wanted by a ton of Premiership teams and wants to leave, so I doubt he’ll be with us for long, but I’ll try to hang on to him for as long as possible. Youth intake (preview) Amazing, really, and it better be given how much we’re spending on our youth setup. The attackers Connor Malpas 06a (ST) and David Lynas 06b (AMR/ST) go straight into the first team to become our 2nd and 3rd best players overall, while the rest is a mix of good talent and decent personalities, thanks to our new model citizen HOYD. I would like to get some defenders at some point though… Facilities/Finances After promotion we suddenly started spending £160k/month on our youth set-up, so I’m actually trying to downgrade coaching and recruitment for once, as once the finances get to insecure the board tends to sell the best players for peanuts, and I’d very much like to hang on to a few of them and develop them. No transfers but plenty of loans out. glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 3 - Japan J3 League - Youth Intake So after an okay preview (but my best yet) would we finally get a few players who would jump into the first team? Would we get an Elite player for the first time? Yes we do! Our first Elite talent! Top 3 - Youth Intake 3 Masayoshi Murakoshi (YP03A) - Well he is my first elite talent, so I have to be impressed. However his physicals are clearly the standout and his technicals need some work. He will go into the first team as my sub right winger and hopefully he will show some steady improvement. The Strength and Crossing are a bit of a worry, but hopefully we can put him on some individual training to rectify that Koya Sumiya (YP03B) - Another winger, but this time with a good personality and some decent starting technicals. Not sure if he will ever make the grade, but I have some hope for the youngster. Kenji Kuroki (YP03C) - This intake is all about the wingers. Hoping one of them hits. The personality took him down to my C (3rd best fo the intake) player. If we can train that out, he has a good mix of being quick and having some decent technicals. His mentals however are WEAK! So 3 wingers, let's hope at least one of them breaks into the first team by the end of next season.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Japan - Honda FC/Haneda Division J1 - 2041 (season 18 i think) Objective: win the champions league! Season Summary So, the really frustrating thing with Japan is our season always starts with the knockout rounds of the Champions League, which also happen to be inside our transfer window. I get so many offers for my players, which I turn down, that inevitably morale suffers as a result. So many players unhappy with the way I manage things because I won't sell Maicon 34A for £1.5m to Eintracht Frankfurt (when he'll be worth £60m+ in Germany!). It means we start pretty much every season badly. And this season was no exception Champions League 1: knockout rounds! 2nd round saw us play Incheon United of South Korea, not an easy game. We played well in the first leg to get a draw and then got lucky in the home leg when they had a man sent off in the 22nd minute. So into the quarter finals we marched! Quarter finals we got fellow Japanese side Vissel Kobe, who we had been dominating against for the last few seasons. It should have been fairly routine win but our morale was low, injuries and fatigue played their part and we limped out. League: The poor morale from refusing to sell all my player on the cheap impacted our league start as well. Only 2 wins from the first 7! but once the transfer window shut and the players packed their toys neatly away back in their toy box our season came alive. we went on big winning runs and were miles ahead by the final stages. we lost 2 of the last 3 so it looks closer at the end than it really was Oh, and lol at Hiroshima getting relegated! they still beat us, mind.... Champions League 2: The group stages of the next Cl always coincide with the title run-in, when we tend to be high in morale and form, so they're always a breeze. this one was slightly more tricky than usual but we still qualified easily But who do we have in the next round? Only Suwon Bluewings again, who we couldn't beat in the group stages! Aaargh! Youth I can't tell how good these intakes are anymore! Our best players are so good that it skews all the predicted ratings. But the personalities are good for the best prospects so I'm quietly hopeful Career Onwards and upwards! only without two of my most experienced players who both had enough of my refusal to sell them and left on a free. Katsumi Wada 31D announced his intention to leave with 2 years still on his contract! His leaving might force me back to a 4-2-3-1 formation for next season
glennuk
I am really behind on the updates. But man I am feeling the HUGE SWINGS of morale every season. Apart from the praise good training ratings, team meetings, team bonding training sessions etc. Any other tips? Let's just say I have been close to quitting this save when I go on these inevitable bad streaks after winning 5, 8. 10 games in a row.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Ubuntu Cape Town FC - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - DSTV Premiership Squad | Transfers | Finances Our first attempt in the top tier of South Africa went far better than anyone could expect. The start was a bit rough, but we soon became the masters of draws. Almost half of the matches all season ended in a draw, but it's better than losing at least. Most of the players seems to have taken the step up to the higher level. After the youth intake it's becoming clear we have way too many central midfielders, so when I got an offer for one of the lesser talents from Mamelodi Sundowns I chose to sell. Also, this season is the first one since 2018 where they didn't win the league! Now, we just have to stabilize at this level, and slowly push for the top after. My top 3 pick of players this season are: 1. Cole Van Coller - We got him to stay, and he had a great season with a lot of goals. 2. Siphamandla Pillay 25e - A very strong season in midfield, bossing it at times. 3. Teboho Dlamini 25b - He had an amazing development this season, and is now a key part of the team. Nedbank Cup: We beat Baroka before we lost to SuperSport United in the 2nd round. Telkom Knockout - We beat Richards Bay before we lost to SuperSport United in the quarter final. I finally got some improvements accepted this season. Around the world U21s: They finished 14th in the Diski Challenge this season. U19s: They finished 4th in the South African Under 19s Group 2. Popular Post fries
Sky Bet Championship 2031/32 (season 8) Season Summary A great season that somehow left me disappointed in the end. First season in the Championship. We played very well and ended 4th in the league. And thus qualified for the play offs. In the play-off semi-final we were up against Leeds. They are probably the best team in the league, but they are also a UEFA Conference League finalist, so they had a very tight schedule throughout the season. But unfortunately not around the play offs. First leg, they smashed us 4-1. I couldn't see us getting back in the second leg. And I was right, we lost home 2-3. Frederick had a wonderful season with 41 goals. He is the primary reason why we played at the top of the league. In general the squad depth is not great. I have 9 players which I think are good enough for the level with 3 or more stars. Plus 4 with 2.5 stars. In every game I play at least one player with only 2 stars. Frederick is, by far, my best player. Unfortunately, his contract only runs for one more season and he is not willing to enter negotiations. I might have to sell him this summer to secure the club financially. I hoped a promotion would mean I could keep him. The youth intake preview was fine. 5 stars and a few Bs. The actual intake was okay. Where Mustafi is by far the most talented player with a good personality. I think I will play Mustafi as a central defender in the future. I had no transfers of significance this season. I had a few loan-outs. Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade the youth facilities and the board promised to increase the youth level after this season. But financially we are not well with a negative balance at over 2 mill £. Next season Next season, I don't know what to expect. It depends on whether or not we can keep Frederick.
Popular Post BustaRaymes
Smethwick Rangers 2030/31 Northern Premier League Division One Midlands We're in trouble. Budget is getting tighter and tighter, youth players are not ready and we are losing our better players because we just can't pay them. Maybe we would've been better off going down as we have a really tough season ahead of us. Squad Our experienced GK and star player Coughlin decided it would be best if he left the last 4 games up to his 16-year old backup, and left. Parton is the pick of the players at the back. Even with his attributes completely collapsing last year, he's done well. In midfield, Rowland surprisingly rejected any incoming offers. Still, I can't imagine him rejecting the Vanarama National clubs that are eyeing him now. Feeney was our top scorer again, but I'm starting to like Rose. He was never expected to amount to anything but here we are. His sober style makes him an ideal player to link up midfield and attack. Transfers As mentioned, Coughlin left Youth intake Another full squad of 5* PA, but it's hard to see who's going to do a job and who isn't. Hammarstedt will probably feature a lot next season. The first player I'm actually a bit excited about since Parton. Kmetykó has some decent starting attributes. We now have 4 equally talented GKs to take Coughlins place. Abdullahi has some mentals to develop, but his technicals are really decent for our level. Could be one to watch. Wright is the kind of centre back I like. Tall and slow as truck. I should probably give up on this save but I'm invested in Smethwick and a few of the players have cult status potential. I'm going to wait and see how long I can keep this job and if we can get lucky with a takeover or anything like that. Daddy
2029/30 Midseason Review - Belgian Third Tier - Season 6 This is pretty much what I anticipated after a fire sale of my good players. Very inconsistent team but one I think will survive another season. Happy to have strong forwards, but wish I had a good keeper preview too.
Popular Post tobiahabramson
Macclesfield Town FC Vanarama National League North Season 8 2031-32 Results League: 11th Place FA Cup Second Qualifying Round: Win 3 -1 v. Worcester (Hellenic Premier) Third Qualifying Round: Win 2-0 v. Marine (Northern Premier League) Fourth Qualifying Round: Loss 2-3 v. Buston (National League North) FA Trophy Second Round: Win 3-2 v. Blyth (National League North) Third Round: Win 1-0 v. Hartlepool (National League) Fourth Round: Win 1-0 v. Maidenhead (National League) Fifth Round: Win 1-0 v. Fylde (National League North) Quarter Finals: Loss 1-3 v. Cheltenham (National League) Season Overview Another year of playing, another year of wild inconsistency and a midtable finish. Maybe I'm just bad at the game :). We had again a streaky, up and down year that saw us finish solidly in mid-table, though we underperformed our xG, which had us around 7th. We tried not to mess around with tactics too much, but injuries and central defender lack of depth saw us move out of a 3 at the back system to a more traditional 4-4-2 (which I almost never play). We did have our first real cup run of the save, which saw us getting to the Quarter Finals of the FA Trophy, sneaking a few wins against national league sides. We fought hard against transfer requests for our star striker, who was getting offers left and right from Championship teams. He is under contract for another 2 seasons and I'll be damned if I give him up beforehand. At the beginning of the season, we did sell a key defender to Luton Town - who offered us $600k cash and a 40% sell on clause that I just couldn't resist. He's now worth $8-10 million but only appeared twice off the bench for Luton this season. Our defensive core is slightly improving, but it is still what is letting us down time and time again - with opposing attackers seemingly just walking around them and finding easy shots on goal. I'm really not sure how aggressive to go on attack to try and outscore opponents but I feel my backline which is already weak would just get so overwhelmed. In off the field news our Board did agree to another upgrade to our youth facilities at a cost of $2,000,000, which completed right at the end of the season. One great thing about Macclesfield is it's got a rather large stadium and average attendance for this level, so money has really not been a major obstacle for us. Tactic: Squad View: Youth Intake Our intake this year was rather average, and I don't have much to say about it. I am hopeful about our c player Rob Dunn, who can hopefully help fill a chronic gap we've had at right-back. CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 4 - 2027/28 Schedule / Squad / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season Summary: the leap in quality from League 2 to the Super League is significant. Initially projected to finish last with odds of 700 to 1, we were by far the weakest side in the Greek Super League. However, the season started well with three wins in our first five games, suggesting a comfortable season far from relegation. After that, we went through a series of 19 games without a win, only to finish the regular part of the season 1 point away from the relegation spots. Fortunately, we managed to finish the year 3 points ahead of the last two spots, securing first-division football for another year. It will take us years to even be able to compete for European qualification in Greece. The disparity between the top 4 (Olympiacos, AEK, Panathinaikos, and PAOK) and the rest is significant. For example, the league generates 78 million euros in sponsorship, averaging 5.5 million for each team. Our revenue is 375k€, while Olympiacos is at 25 million! (Stoiximan Super League Regular Phase / Relagation Group) At the end of last season, two of our first-team players, Altintzis and Georgiadis, did not renew their contracts and ended up leaving for Kalamata in the second division. For the new season, our first keeper Lefteris Astras will also not renew his contract and will leave for free, probably to a lower division team, but since we have a low reputation, it'll be hard do keep those kind of players... Like previous years, Kosmas Gekas was our top goalscorer, but this season he scored only 8 goals. The striker, who has scored 75 goals wearing Kavala's shirt, was indeed a reflection of our poor quality in front of the goal. We scored only 24 in 33 league games... Plamen Pavlov was the most regular player this season. Youth intake: another amazing intake, reflecting our investment in the youth system. This year the board invested 400k€ upgrading the youth facilities. Vasilis Papadopoulos 28a, Leonidas Pantidis 28b, Tasos Laspatzisb28c, Marios Barbagiannis 28d, Grigoris Karvounis 28e, Dimitris Pindonis 28f and Thanasis Lyratzis 28g are our most promising players coming from the academy this year. By the way, we had elections and a new president was elected. The board now has a plan to build a new stadium; however, I believe the money would be better invested in training facilities. It makes sense, though, as we were the 6th best in attendance with an average of 10,260 spectators (97% of our capacity) and had 6 sellouts this season. Popular Post Riebow
Olot UE Season Review (24/25) We took over Olot at the beginning of the 25/25 season. 15 fit players reported for duty. It's clear our strength is in defense. Goalkeepers, centre halfs and wing backs are all good to very good players for the level we're at. We lack depth at midfield and offense, but the team acquired some talented youngsters the season before, which developed nicely during the season and became huge contributors. The board expected a top half finish, the fans even play-offs. Let's see how we did League: We needed some time finding our groove. We don't possess the best talent on the wing; so I tried to make the Christmas tree work (tis the season after all). After we struggled to create chances, nevermind scoring goals, I reverted to a more traditional 433. This seemed to do the trick. We were hovering around the play-off spaces the entire season until we went on a rampage at the end, winning our last 6. We finished 4th and an unexpected chance for promotion. Spoiler Play-offs: Would our form jump over to the play-offs? Short answer: yes. We easily displatched Navalcarnero for a place in the finals, where we would take on Europa for a spot in the Federacion 1. Spoiler We won the first game at home 2-0. With this advantage in our bags we traveled to Europa. There were some nerves, for sure, but in the end we never got in trouble. After a sleep inducing affair and a 0-0 tie, we could lift our hands in joy. We're going up in our first season! Spoiler Cup We were drawn with Athetico Madrid in the first round of the Coppa d'Espana. It went as expected: a clear 0-3 victory for the team out of Madrid and a nice gate receipt for us. Youth Intake The preview was a bit underwhelming, so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. About 7 elite talents and and lots of players with high potential. Notting gamebreaking in terms of CA, but some of them will definitely get their chance in the first team. Spoiler Spoiler Best of the intake; Alfred Olles (DLR/WBL; Fickle) Not a huge fan of this personality, but he looks decent enough. We didn't have any backups for the wing back position so he's definitely welcome. Spoiler Jokin Gorostidi (MC; Easily Discouraged) Is this a new personality? I've never had an 'Easiliy Discouraged', doesn't promise much. A shame, because I liked to look of him. Spoiler Best XI I have to thanks whoever was in charge of recruitment last season. Three youngsters (Bouza, Terma and Janneh) all finished with a average rating above 7. Especially Momodou Janneh is a gem! Spoiler Momodou Janneh Speed, size, good finishing and Fairly Professional. What more could you wish for? It looked like I might have lost him. Only a couple of months in the save, he suddenly declared he was going to consider his options at the end of the season. Luckily, with the form we were in and one game from promotion he was finally willing to negotiate a new contract. We locked him up for another two seasons. Spoiler Transfers Nothing in, nothing out Spoiler Upgrades Nada. Our finances aren't in the state that our board is willing to accept anything despite the unexpected promotion. Next Season: Survival? Probably hoping for anything more would be wishful thinking Edited December 10, 2023 by Riebow

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 3 - Japan J3 League - End of Season Review - The season of regression League It has been a bit of a slog. Losing our most creative midfielder (4* CA) and replacing him with a much worse, less creative player (1.5*CA) was always going to be tough. We are still one of the higher scoring teams in the league, but we just can't keep clean sheets. The amount of games I have been in where the opposition have a goal to draw the game, or win the game in the 85+ minute is crazy. I have tried all kinds of tactics to prevent this, but I think ultimately it comes down to having poor defenders. We were never in real trouble of being relegated and for a few short weeks thought I may sneak into the playoffs, at one point only being 5 points away from 6th, but an end of season run of no wins in 6 games put end to that hope. The Squad We don't really have many changes in the squad due to our poor squad depth and poor intakes so far. We could really do with a youth intake that provides first team ready players straight away. Our Strikers are still our strength although Ryu Joseph Hashimura spent a good potion of the season injured or out of form. As you can see I am trying to integrate some of my youth, but most are 0.5* CA or 1*CA, which I know is not everything, but in general they are much weaker than my legacy players. Finances We are doing okay on this front at the moment (especially as my board keep refusing upgrades!!). However our total sponsorship has gone down from 1.3 million per year to 950k, so that may be a bad sign for the years to come. Other News Hiroshima in J1 league want me as their manager. Flattering yes, even though of course I said no!

Anners
Congrats @libbyshuss - fantastic! Looks like that save might be quite fun to take on if he's pumped in that amount of money - bloody hell! @dkouv The youth set-up costs is exactly what happened to me, so I've been eagerly waiting for you to get promoted to the Championship! There's clearly something between the Championship and League 1 that isn't registered somewhere but I genuinely couldn't find it. I didn't exactly intentionally go back down to League 1, but I didn't complain as it saved me a bunch of money and let my prospects get a bit better.

We have the worst defence in the league but the 2nd best attack. If we could actually defend, we'd probably be challenge for a European spot considering 4th and 5th ended up with only 53 and 52 points. Thankfully we regained form towards the end of the season, but we only won out first match 12 games in. If we're back to the old "we can't put a full season together" then... ugh. Youth Intake: I'll take a couple of good defenders here thank you very much! Not quite straight in the starting 11, but close enough! We STILL haven't managed to get a goalkeeper and i'm incredibly desperate at this point. In terms of the squad, we're very top heavy (as shown in the youth intakes in previous years with the amount of midfielders/strikers) and if you actually looked at our squad from the midfield up, we'd probably be a top 4 team. I'll do a bigger round up at the end of next season as it's been a few years, but if we can get these defenders trained up as quickly as possible we can definitely start to make a charge towards at least finishing in the top 6. Frimpong finally didn't top score, as Thomas Scott is really starting to kick on. Frimpong did get the most assists and Highest Rating so he's still the main man! Full History: Reveal hidden contents Last 5 Years: Previous Post: 2047/48 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Premiership League: (Hibs deducted 15 points for going into Administration) The season kind of fizzled out after the first couple months where it was rather exciting! It was actually a very average season - helped by the fact Motherwell and St Mirren were absolutely horrible this year. The gamble to sell Templeman and Scott at the start of the year has paid off okay so far. We've got training and youth facilities upgrades coming, as well as the stadium expanding: We do have to ground share - although I was kind of hoping to share with Hibs in their nice 46,902 capacity stadium! Would've been very empty but I'm sure they need the rent money...! A quick passing remark about the cups (as we don't do very well apart from that 1 Semi Final run) - out to Rangers in the 4th round. We've been getting some horrible draws in the past few years though (Hibs & Hearts for example) so surely the FM gods will be kind to us soon. Youth Intake: Speaking of the FM Gods... We prayed to the FM Gods for a goalkeeper and it finally happened - and a Model Citizen personality! Bit late with this screenshot as it's after he's already played the last 8 league games for us! It really says a lot about our options when Pick goes straight into the number 1 spot. I'm hoping I'm going to be able to keep him for a while - I could do with some consistentcy at the goalkeeper position as we keep having to sell. Facilities: Obviously with the influx of money owing to the Sneddon/Templeman/Scott sale, we've been able to get upgrades rolling once the previous ones are finished. Both are due in August and October, so we should move from Good Training/Adequate Youth up a level. Major Round Up: Like I said in the previous post, time to do a bit of a major round up as it's been a few years and there's some new faces, some old faces and some faces not at the club anymore which I'll include! Kieran Pick is now our number 1 - as you can see above I've already touched upon him. More on his predecessor later... The back 4 from right to left are George Green, Laurie Brian, Calvin Gilchrist and Rosen Proychev. Green is the most experienced at 24, but he's basically at his potential here but will do for now. Brian and Gilchrist could be a decent pairing in a year or 2 if Brian gets his technical attributes improved. Proychev is an intriguing case as I'm gambling on him being the better prospect than our others available. The midfield 3 of Jamie Gormal, Michael Robertson and Liall Cairns have been fairly reliable all season. Gormal is our longest serving active player (ignoring some of the bench players who are getting a bit old), although Frimpong is only 60 appearances behind. Robertson has been attracting interest from Porto and Benfica (No idea why Portuguese teams!) and is a pretty solid midfielder who is improving rather well. Cairns was trying to leave, but seems to have settled down now so we should be able to keep him. Does the job very nicely - he's seen as an average Premiership player so would love to keep him around. Douglas Fordyce on the right wing is a bit of a different player to Willis Easton on the left. Fordyce is currently trying to leave, but has a contract for 3 more years so hopefully can keep him around as he's an extremely good player to have on the right. Easton meanwhile spent a couple of years on loan in League 1 and probably isn't the best option we've got on the left, but with the Thomas Scott sale he was somewhat forced there. That leaves the man, the myth, the legend - Solomon Frimpong. Took being shifted onto the left extremely personally with his hot start to the season - bagged 24 in 31 league games this year. He missed 7 games through African Nations duty with Ghana, which coincided with our very poor December. Seen as a team leader, he holds the captaincy and now I'd actually be incredibly surprised if we don't keep hold of him throughout his career. Will very likely be our top appearance maker and goal scorer for a long time. Now, to the 2 other "categories" we've got. Bailey McKay is retiring at the end of this season, having made 767 appearances in total across a 21 season career with us. Stopped appearing for the team in the 46/47 mostly, but before he played at least 32 games in every season apart from 3 (where it was 25, 30 and 31!). First player I've had retiring that I've got a bit of an attachment to! 2nd category is former players - although a very specific example which is rather annoying to me but also very proudful. Scotland's first 11 for the opening game of the 2048 World Cup included 3 ex-Tranent players: I think if I had those 3 in my team we'd be a bit better than 8th position and would be challenging for Europe! Gundo
2024 Season Review (Season One) Season one was tough! That being said, we did have some nice spells of form before the winless final eight games. A 2-0 win over Grorud sticks out as our most notable victory of the year. In order for us to survive in the second division going into the last game of the season, we played Mjørdalen at home; Ørn Horten were up against bottom club Staal Jørpeland (who had beat us 2-1 in the penultimate match of the campaign). Thankfully, Staal won 2-0, and we came back from 2-0 down to level our game 2-2. We had the worst home form of the season – failing to pick up a single win. No player managed an average rating in the sevens. Players whined and became unhappy about the smallest of things. It was, all in all, a pretty dismal season! One bright note was the signing of Brian McBride as our assistant manager. I'm dreading season two.

karax268
Çankaya FK 2027/2028 Season review On the field Fixtures prt 1 | Fixtures prt 2 Well,, We survived. We didn't win until november and were in the relegation zone for 32 matchdays. Luckily there were 4 other bad teams around us. The win against Hatayspor on the penultimate matchday saw us leave the relegation zone for the first time. With an away match against Beşiktaş we knew that our fate was not in our own hands. Luckily results went in our favor and we stay in the top flight for atleast another season. Cup No cup magic this year either. Squad Best player of the season: Emirhan Korkmaz. for the second year in a row he won it. A bit less quality if I'm honest, but he remains the backbone of our midfield. Topscorer: Oğuzhan Erdoğan the other half of our midfield. The fact that he scored 6 of his 10 goals in the last 8 matches, together with the fact that the topscorer of last year only managed 1 goal all season tells our seasons story quite well. Youth player of the season: Bartu Büyükgök 26b Once again it is Bartu Büyükgök 26b. He scored 10 goals this year, sharing the topscorer title with Oğuzhan Erdoğan. He started the year as our 3th striker and will go into next season as our number 1 Youth intake Some great potential combined with some good personalities. This intake has a chance to lift us to a new level once they've matured a bit. Board Transfers | Finances the finances are in a fine spot. we are not making a lot of profit but that will come once we start winning more matches in the league. No significant transfers yet that can fund some facilities. And I'm afraid it is going to take a sale before the board will approve some improvements in either training or youth facilities. We did get more funding for our Junior coaching again. As well as another coaching Badge for me. Next year The way this season went makes me worried for next year, we were not good and while the future looks good I don't expect my youth players to carry my team just yet. We just need to survive a few seasons.
dkouv
11 hours ago, Anners said: Congrats @libbyshuss - fantastic! Good to know, I've downgraded the coaching & recruitment but costs are still £100k a month, think I'll just stick with it and see what happens, relegation is a real possibility but it looks like I'll just about survive this season. bpecanha
I'll start again. Had problems with my computer and lost a lot of progress with Villa Española. Don't know where I'm going to manage, I tried Slovenia but rules there are awful. Maybe Ireland, Turkey or something more random like Albania or Kosovo. Edit: I just realized that there's no relegation in Ireland... Edited December 12, 2023 by bpecanha
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 4 - Japan J3 League - Mid Year Review & Youth Intake League We have struggled in the league again and been around Mid Table. I was zooming through this season so much that I forgot to take my Mid-Year league table screenshot, but I at the midpoint mark (19 games played) we were 14th out of 20 Youth Preview We really need a good intake to ensure that this save was still manageable and luckily we finally got one! After 3 years of terrible intakes, I get one like this!! 4 As 1 B 3 Cs Considering my best previously has been a solitary C grade, I am more than excited about this intake. Upgrades Just after our Youth Intake Preview, we got another Junior Coaching upgrade. Youth Intake Moving on to the intake, would it be as good as the preview suggested? Yes...yes it would be!!! FINALLY!!!!! After having just 1 elite talent over the last 3 intakes, I have 7 in one year!!! Top 3 - Youth Intake 4 Mitsuki Kohima (YP04A) - Will most likely go straight into the starting 11, but I may give him a few bench starts to begin his time at the club. He is pretty much good all around, with a great personality and huge potential. The 20 teamwork is fantastic to see. I believe he could be a starter for my whole time in the J3 league and hopefully even make the step up to J2 level...if I can hold onto him. Tatsuya Tanaka (YP04B) - He may also be one who moves straight into the starting 11, but at least into the senior team. I will be training him as a Deep Laying Playmaker, he has a great personality, great passing (for this level), technique and first touch as well as vision. Yes he is small and weak, but hoping he will bulk up a bit as he gets older. Daiki Sugai (YP04C) - One who will take longer to get to first team level, as GK is one of our stronger positions. However with his personality and decent starting attributes, my hope is he will be able to make it the first team in 3-5 years. Obviously with this being my first good intake, there are quite a few I am excited about. So hopefully it will not just be the above 3 that we will see in the first team sometime soon. DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2024/25 Saffron Dynamo The preview was good enough. To be honest, I just need players. All sixteen players will be offered contracts as they are all more than capable!
Popular Post XaW
Just sold my best player to Europe. They offered half a million and 50% of next sale, and I can't really reject that. And the money will be well spent.
