  1. It should work, I've noticed it when cloning a team of the week/player of the week and only changing the long name. The short name change seems to fix it. As long as short name shows up as an editable field when you mass edit, you should be fine. You could probably do the change back as a mass edit too, if you did all the "team of the week"s together (same short name, which is the source of this issue), "player of the week" etc. The source is duplicating existing awards, you're like "oh I only need to change long name to Southern County Team of the Week because the short name already says Team of the Week." But the duplicated short name will actually show as blank in-game unless it has a change registered
  2. Also check out the 3D match engine in MLS play if you haven't already, @Gum's work with the stadium editor is pretty impressive. Playing in the 2026 World Cup will be a lot more immersive even with international management still being bunk as hell
  3. Could be the "short name" glitch? If you duplicate an award, you have to actually make a change to the "short name" (can just change a letter, tab away, then click back in and change it back, you can see under "changes" that it will now register). A lot of times when duplicating an award, we just leave the "short name" unchanged because it already says "team of the week" or whatever, but that's a visual glitch and you do have to register a change
  4. That was in reference to fmfan's question about the Canadian Megapatch, not Saints' file
  5. Windsor are about as confirmed as Saskatoon ever were (and Kelowna too for that matter). Clanachan has the territory rights but that's about it, I'd be surprised to see them join the league in the next decade much less before 2026. Still a great addition to the mod tbf, they'd instantly be my team if and when they join
  6. Could you do a preliminary round as a separate comp ID but set it as "qualifying"? Not quite as clean but would allow you to keep certain divisions limited to that stage more easily
  7. Added the new in-season cup for USL1 teams which has been announced from 2024 (including the extra semifinal spot for the team with the most Goals For). The USL1 league season shortens for next season accordingly. Also fixed a glitch where Galaxy II were in the wrong MLSNP conference despite getting the correct schedule. If you were subscribing on Steam I'd clear it and re-download the new link from a few days ago. Might eventually add teams from USLC to the League Cup in future years, which seems to be the plan, and even competing leagues like NISA. Chattanooga derby every season FTW...
  8. Someone said my FM23 ones were working on FM24 but I'd take a good look at the rules first, including dates, and run a multi-year test etc. The 7-team versions run 3 out of the 4 years in a cycle, so the 32-team version could be scrapped and one of the 7-team versions duplicated for 2025. The extent of the changes I made for a 32-team version are no longer needed given that they implemented it in the game, but it sounds like the preseason fitness issue is STILL going on? (really, SI??) In which case I might do a more simplified change that just moves it up a couple of weeks and instantly makes it, you know, actually playable
  9. Sorry, typing too quick on the phone keyboard. I meant that you can specify each date in the competition's "fixture dates", and then in the stage itself, under "schedule"/"dates" you can then call upon those fixture dates and use them here. But the break periods should be enough. If you get an error saying there's not enough dates, just open up a few midweeks. To force it to play every weekend you could also go under schedule and set "check for clashes" to "none", and under "fixture rules" there are two settings for playing during international matches that you can adjust if you want them to play through those international breaks.
  10. Even with "renew income" and "fixed value" checked? Or are you counting on the other sponsorships that you can't see in the editor?
  11. You have the CCL starting in 2023? Maybe I'm missing something but a CAC that finishes in December 2023 isn't going to qualify a team for a tournament starting 11 months earlier? Can you do two different CCLs, one in 2023 (just give it "specific team"s to account for the IRL qualifiers) and one starting from 2024 that uses the correct qualifiers?
  12. I have it working in my FM23 file, you could take a look. Alternately from Rusty's post it sounds like it's working? The 2023 CAC sends teams to the 2024 CCL? If not, is the stage containing the semifinal finishing in time? It won't actually process that "fate action" until the stage if finished (not just the round), so if the final stretches into December but the CCL has already set up, it won't know to take those teams yet. You could split the final into its own stage if needed (not ideal but sometimes needed to process stage finished actions from earlier rounds). Have you unchecked "for this year" in the fate action? Is there a similar entry in the "get qualified teams" entry? There could be teams auto-qualifying in the background (or stored from previous years) and taking places that the runners-up should be getting. If all else fails then in "qualified teams" you might have to check "clear qualified teams" and specify them all again in "qualified teams" (save a backup before doing anything like this)
  13. You could set a "break period" for every Tuesday to Thursday period during the season, and/or set all 30+ dates under "fixture dates" and then have corresponding entries in schedule/dates. Bit of an annoying workaround but the default scheduling is a nightmare this year
  14. I've also found you can just uncheck "number of teams" in the stage, and either leave that completely blank or set a min/max. While verifying it will miss a bunch of lower division teams, but they do show up in-game and the cup is filled out
  15. That's great. I guess it still does apply to them IRL, it's just that Réunionais players count as EU? I wonder if you could get at that by either going into France and adding all their territories to "nations treated as EU" or by going into the territories and adding the EU itself to "nations treated as EU"
  16. Check the thread in the main editor's forum, but there's a fix (at least to drop the rule entirely) if you enable France and edit the rule accordingly so it only applies to teams based in France
  17. There is a fix (well done @rusty217). You just need France enabled: https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/580769-fm23-is-there-a-way-to-fix-the-non-eu-glitch-in-the-french-cup/?do=findComment&comment=14258353
  18. Saudi transfer AI is extra-broken this year, I can't do a full release. More likely to remove it completely or take the TMC name off
  19. General quality of life updates based on anything I notice or that people report, nothing gamebreaking Just to revisit this, USL Academy and ECNL ("Boys Academy League") aren't producing newgens, so no point giving them their showcase games, national championships etc like I have for MLS Next. They're fun to scout/attend but not if it's all greyed-out players. If they change that in a patch I'll come back to it.
  20. @xbenjaminx the kits are brilliant, I'm just renaming them now to put the config file. Who are 5630219? Black home kit with "expert" as the sponsor? I'm sure I should recognize the logo, just blanking right now Also 82082540 with the dragon, is that Anglesey? NM, I got it. Link in OP updated with kits! Just going through the DB now to make sure they all have an away kit set up (so it will actually show up)
  21. Yes but don't use my CanChamp with his file, it's not set up to accommodate the expansion teams. His should work fine
  22. Under Rangers is there anything under finances/conditional fees? Wipe it if so
  23. Thanks, will likely go that route. The latest is that youth production is way off this year, newgens are not appearing the way the devs intended (in the traditional academy --> USL2 --> draft pipeline), instead youth intakes are coming through all over the place and creating some issues with high-PA youth players actually getting pro opportunities as intended. Considering dropping NISA to at least take 9 middling youth intakes away every year, and maybe contracting any lower division teams that drop out for 2024 (particularly in the 117-team USL2)
  24. Not to mention the confusing "Long Island (NY)" which I guess is meant to be everything in Nassau and Suffolk counties that's not already contemplated by "Hempstead (NY)"
