Daddy
2034/35 Season Review: Four times in six years is pretty impressive. Tried to blow it near the end of the season though, lucked out final day as the second place team lost. Trimmed up a little bit to keep the roster from getting too unwieldy. To keep the posts from getting too large I'll avoid repeat awards, excluding wonderkid list. I don't recall him winning it before, and even if so it gives me a chance to talk about him again. MLS teams and a few French and Italian teams made offers that he wasn't interested in. Happy to not have to fight to keep him, yet. A new addition to the wonderkid list. I'm trying to mentor that personality away. Really harsh drop in the coefficients. Youth Intake: No immediate first team players, but again the conveyor belt of talent coming in. 2035/36 Season Preview: In league I go for three in a row. As for the Champions League, this is a favorable draw. I'm not predicting much but Milan and Sociedad were not league champions, and the Ukrainian team should be about equal or lesser competition. I'll be bold and say I have shot at 3rd and at least moving to Europa Edited May 24, 2022 by Daddy forgot youth intake pics

At least we are nowhere near the relegation zone, but I had hoped for a slightly increased success compared to last season, but we continue. KNVB Beker: We beat Excelsior M before we lost to Vitesse (again!) in the 2nd round. Youth intake: Interestingly, we got 17(!) players in this season, as opposed to the normal 16. So I looked around, and it seems we have poached a player! We suddenly own them 5% of a future fee. So I had a dig around, and it seems we DON'T get an inbox item for when it happens, but we instead get in an extra player in the first possible intake. Not ideal, and I hope SI will fix it, but at least it's possible to see after the player appears. Perhaps worthy of a small note in the OP @darren1983? Anyway, the poached player are quite poor... This kid however is anything but poor. A supertalent! Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 10 - End of Year Review League - 3rd We finished the league in 3rd, following our bad year, good year trend. We were up in the playoff spots all season, so it was the least we deserved. Going professional certainly helped. We got a bye for round 1 of the playoffs. Playoff - Semi-Final We played Yeovil in the Semis and it was as comfortable as the stats suggest. Everyone played well and we should have had more goals. Playoff - Final The final was a pretty tense affair, neither team really got a grip on the game and there was no special performances to shout about. We definitely had our chances, but the early goal seemed to knock the wind out of our sails. No matter what I did I couldn't get the young players up for it. So it is yet another year in the Vanarama National. I Hate this league! The Squad In my frustration I didn't take a picture of the whole squad view. But here is how we lined up. An entirely Youth Player team and one that did pretty well overall. Lea Sills (YP08D) was playing well until January when he got multiple bids of around 500k and got unhappy, which impacted his performances for the second half of the season unfortunately. Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) continues his utterly impressive form and is rated as a Sky Bet Championship Striker. He will still not sign a new contract, but hopeful if we get promoted next year that I can get him on a full-time deal for a few more years. Finances & Upgrades Despite turning professional we still have kept pretty good finances overall, which is in part to ever increasing sponsorship and merchandise sales. We had over 2 million in the balance so a new contract and Youth Facilities upgrade were in order. The Accolades Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) again won top goalscorer and player of the year. Two More Sales Loic Shabani (YP05B) & Alex Harrison (YP07A) had big bids put in for them. Shabani has been wanting to move for a while now and although he was huge for us we also have Tyler Warren (YP01C) and Gary Brough (YP03A) who are very strong in the AMR position. Alex Harrison was always out on loan or on the fringe of the first team. I was surprised by the offer and he was sold without hesitation. Shabani hurts, Harrison is a relief. The Future With improved facilities, turning professional and the constant 'Golden Generations', I am confident that we can be a bit more consistent with challenging for promotion. I NEED to end this good year, bad year cycle. With the above sales we are back above 2 million in the balance.

Made some initial progress tonight with staff and managed to get this HoYD in the door! Opting for a 4-3-3 DM wing play with a target forward, not the stereotypical Dutch approach but looking at Hans Botermans definitely suggests its a way to get goals from crosses and set pieces I just hope I can get the results to stay in charge long enough for at least the first intake as it looks like a really tough challenge but enjoyable if you can get it going long enough. I have tried and failed this challenge like 3-4 times in various countries in FM22 so far...Kartwijk were my dutch failure! But yes Botermans was about the only bright spot playing through the middle.
toshimitzou1
Sensational start to the playthrough. In Iceland they play a domestic cup round-robin followed by knockout stage before league commencement and we crushed it- going out AET to last years Premier Division's 3rd place finishers Briedablik! We were actually 1-0 up until the 94th min! My team is cack, Part-time without any real quality. The only thing we have in our favour is a decent RB and LM and good aggression through the team. As such, I've informed my front four to tackle hard and the whole team to press hard the minute they reach my low block. With a high defensive line, if they don't find a way through fast we swarm them! 80 percent of goals are constructed on the Right Wing with the CM-Attack proving a useful foil, giving the LW space to to score with plenty of time at the far post. Poacher there for leftovers. Desperately need a half decent youth intake as we have a squad of 16 players with 0 reserves or 0 youth players.

Makoto Nakamura
Please note, I am using FMT21! Decided to try this in a country more likely to succeed in, and with insanely quick loading times I aim to make my way through as many nations as I can! Gimnástica Segoviana Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team based in Segovia, the capital of the namesake province, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Founded in 1928 as Sociedad Deportiva Gimnástica Segoviana, it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 1, holding home games at Estadio La Albuera, which has a capacity of 6,000 spectators (5,326 in terrace areas and 674 in the tribunes). On June 28, 1928 the club named S.D. Gimnástica Segoviana was officially created with Francisco del Barrio being elected as its first president. After playing since its foundation between Tercera División and the Regional leagues, Gimnástica Segoviana promoted to Segunda División B for the first time in 1999, but the club could not remain in the league and was immediately relegated after its first season in the third tier. In 2011, Gimnástica segoviana repeated success, this time after beating Arroyo CP, SD Noja and SD Logroñés in the promotion play-offs, but again was relegated in the next season. Five years later, the club would come back to the third tier after beating Atlético Malagueño by a huge 4–1 overall in the promotion play-offs.

Makoto Nakamura
2021/22 End of Season Review Smack bang where we were predicted with a nice gap between ourselves and Lealtad in 11th with us also only being five points off of Coruxo in 5th. Unfortunately Ivan Sales won't be renewing his contract as he is currently on £1,400 p/w and won't go less than £2,400 p/w so we'll struggle without his assists next season. No best eleven this season since we used grey players.

Makoto Nakamura
2022/23 End of Season Review Our small, old squad couldn't keep up with the pace. 13 points from a possible 45 saw us fall down to 9th, which, despite being five points worse off than last season is still a place higher. Yes I remembered to add a facepack! Still no best xi since we didn't have a full squad.

I had thought of doing a Belgium save (much along the same lines as Holland with 2 tiers and good nation level), maybe the trick is just going for nations that are awful, easier to climb up domestically but will be a nightmare in continental competition. Popular Post WhiteCat33
Toni Store Jugglers FC – St Vincent & The Grenadines Season 16 2037/2038 SVG Championship Performance League Champion Cup Champion North American Champions League Easy group, but no surprise win over the MLS side this year. Caribbean Club Championships Group Stage Another Jamaican team this year, but we handled them 3-1 both legs. There's a big difference in quality between Waterhouse (best Jamaican team) and the others. Knockouts For the first two matches it was a blow out first leg and then complacent second leg, but we advanced by 6 goals each time. Then the final we get AS Capoise and for the third time we have to play them away to their capacity crowd in Haiti. It was a crazy first half bringing us to 2-2 at break, but focusing the boys at halftime saw them put 2 unanswered goals away to break the Haiti curse to win our 4th CCC in 5 years! Squad 2037-38 Best XI Young Talents I wanted to take a moment to highlight the 5 U-21 players in my Starting XI, who are the future of the club. Full Back (both) - Morelli Trimmingham 15c: A more attacking FB than my other two dedicated Right and Left Backs, which is tactically great for me. Between the 3 of them I am set for these positions. Center Back - Malcom Green 15a: We've been hurting for CBs this save, so when this guy showed up last season he was immediately a starter. He's developing slowly, but at least he is actually getting slightly better. Center Mid (Mezzala) - Wesley Davis 14c: This player was a surprise. He started with basically all 9-10 values across the board but once he got a professional contract he has used his 18 Natural Fitness to improve enough to that he is a decent rounded Mezzala including being able to do set pieces. With the injuries my 29 year old has gotten (and his age) he as moved into the starting XI as my first choice. Attacking Mid (Left) - Theon Jeffers 12a: I'm still amazed I got him to sign such a long contract. With the extension I have him for 3 more seasons. MLS teams are constantly trying to buy him and he gets slightly unsettled but my Captains can usually make him see reason. He is still rated our best player at the club and is getting slight improvements, but seems to have stopped developing. Striker - Nical McLean 14b: This guy had an unbelievable second season. He is the only non-Tigres player to make the NACL Best XI & Top Scorer. He didn't just score a ton, but absolutely smashed his xG with 52 goals in 29 appearances. And yes, I know our league is a joke, but just look at his stats in the regional and continental comps: Transfers More clearing out of players who are basically worthless Youth Academy YI Preview Youth Intake Youth Intake Squad Interesting that only now am I starting to see more than just 1 or 2 players from towns other than Arnos Vale. I didn’t realize scouting range made that big of a deal for domestic birth cities? This is a solid winger. Right now my #2 for AMR is also my #2 Striker, so this gives me a true rotation wide player. Shame he’s so slow. Could be a useful CAM. The rest have bad personalities or aren’t very good. I took 6 though as I need to start filling out the teams again as I cut most of my older players. Club Improvements So this save also hasn't had the option to upgrade youth facilities for a few years now. It may be just because our reputation is only 1.5*, so the board consider having 2.5* YF as the max they're willing to go. Or I guess its that same damn bug. Either way we don't have the finances for it because our Youth Academy is costing over 900k a year to operate, which is insane for the level of this team. Hope the quality keeps going up to justify that hefty price tag. Excel Season 1-15 ; Season 16

rdevlin98
End of Season 1 Went into S1 (Tier 11) not expecting much. Predicted to finish 7th (mid table) which I thought was reasonable. Struggled the first 10 games with plenty of draws but we were outplaying opponents, just struggling to score. Also struggled to keep hold of players due to our amatuer status. As soon as one player started to play well, they were snatched by a higher rep club. But we managed to secure a settled squad and the season went as below. Competition Overview https://gyazo.com/bee7e500a7b3098eb7cdf21caa060418 Promotion via winning the league and a cup win? I’ll definetely take that. Top scorer https://gyazo.com/e96b8319388d1824f6f82e2d738b0cf8 I’m not sure how but a prolific season from my striker with 4 finishing. I guess he’s so bad that he’s actually good. Youth Candidates https://gyazo.com/3b2fca904d39c1dfab4623cd057f7c6b I didn’t pay much attention to the candidates as the standard was always going to be high when comparing against our rep and current squad. Youth Intake https://gyazo.com/b01d01834bbef8b57b3a1971bd4cbfe4 Again, like above I wasn't expecting much but it was good to have a handful of players come through who can instantly make our Starting XI & Subs and to also add players to the u18s for a more comprehensive feel. Best Player https://gyazo.com/ed41af11a549c0ca9c2b79e52ae03a67 A fairly all round player who is good for our level. Concerned about the determination and personality but hopefully some mentoring will help in the long run. Semi Professional https://gyazo.com/5e72c9b54bfe0b9d1cf0b09cf1102362 One of my concerns (mainly due to losing players so easily during the season) was keeping a hold of any good players. Thankfully, after trying to initiate the process myself, the board came to me and suggested semi professional. Can finally tie down players to contracts. Summary Very good first season. Good base of players and good intake. Plenty to build on next year in Tier 10.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 11 - Breaking the trend and Youth Intake Preview For those who don't know the Worthing trend has been a good year, then a bad, then a good and then a bad and so on. Last year was good (3rd), this year has also started very good. Can we break the trend? Youth Intake Preview Another excellent group of players coming through apparently, although I really need good CMs, which this intake seems to have although not rated A (unless the Attacking Midfielders can easily jump into CM). In other news Timmy Oseni (YP09A) wanted a new contract and insisted on a minimum fee clause. I had to accept or risk losing him on a free, but less than 4 months after signing the contract he was gone. Still a little bit mad about this, as we are fighting at the top end of the playoff spots and he was starting in CM and could also place AMC or AMR if needed, plus no sell on clause Edited May 26, 2022 by glennuk
Daddy
Midseason Review: Real sluggish start, a few injuries, and a Champions League Group I felt I could compete in meant we'd run a little behind in league. A winnable game or two were sacrificed, but we're not too far off and unless Haifa really take off in the second half and the split, I think we can catch them. Milan were definitely a better squad, but scores were a little misleading. While it's disappointing we didn't score in either game it was 1-0 fairly late in both before they closed out the matches. The first match against Sociedad is in line with the two Milan games they just didn't score at the end to boost their GD. The second match was absolutely bonkers. Traded leads a couple of times, but they got a penalty and corner goal late to steal all the points. Zoria was one of those weird teams where our Aggregate XG was 5 - 1, but we were lucky to get our first ever Champions League Group Stage win and a draw. Overall I'm very pleased with how that went. We're still not good enough to compete with the teams from the top leagues, but unlike years prior we didn't get blown away. Also, finishing third means we go to Europa knockouts. This I'm excited for. Two seasons prior we faced off in the League Path Playoff for the Champions League. We won 3-0 first leg and then got demolished 6-1 in the second. I love a chance for revenge. Nothing specific really needed, so always looking for more talent to force their way in.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 11 - Youth Intake - 11 in a row for the Golden Generation Crew Worthing and Golden Generations just go together! More excited about this one than some of the previous Golden Generations. A couple of players in here with mixed nationalities, for example Paupol Tshibamba (YP11A) is a DR Congo national too, which makes him our third after Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) and Loric Shabani (YP05B). But odd that we are getting less and less talent from abroad. Top 3 - Youth Intake 11 Paupol Tshibamba (YP11A) - As mentioned above he is dual English and DR Congo and he looks to join in the first team straight away. He will be my second best Striker immediately and will probably be on the bench for the rest of the season. I rejected a 1.7mil plus 50% bid for Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) but if I can't keep him past this year Paupol looks to be an adequate replacement. Strong physicals, good traits, and 13 finishing off the bat. Impressive for a 15 year old, I just wish his personality was better. Jay Mitchell (YP11B) - We needed a CM and we got one. While he still has a way to go to get into first team contention, he really is decent everywhere. He will probably end up as my box to box mid if his perfectionist personality can help him develop a lot over the next couple of years. At 15 he certainly has time to develop and I have faith that he will become at least a solid rotation piece off the bench, although the hope is he can be my starting BBM. Zak Bradbrook-Edwards (YP11C) - It was close as to whether Zak would get the C spot or not. He seems to have the stats where it matters most and will play RB for me (although this is a position I am pretty happy with). If I can develop his left foot he could potentially go LB, but I don't like the looks of the Right Only preferred foot. I love that his tackling is at 15 already, his physicals are not strong, but at least they are not starting too low. The Balanced personality is another area I am not too thrilled with, but I have had a few balanced individuals who have done okay progression wise. Max Budd (YP11D) - Sounds like an American advertising campaign, or the alternative to Bud Light. However he could be a very good CB, especially with the driven personality. The Marking, Anticipation and Decisions are a concern for me and I feel these improve a little slower than physicals which is why he was my D player, not my C player. Hoping with quick enough development he could become my first CB off the bench or even start in the next year or so. First International Of course it had to be, the irrepressible Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A). Getting his first cap for the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have tried it as well on the FMT20 and I didn't even manage to reach the top league in Germany. Although I think that this was due to small size of the database on my save. I think that if you choose the large database you get more players from the youth intake. What database size did you pick at the start of the save? Usually, once I win a league that's it, I'll dominate and get bored after a few more years. But, since we won the title 2 seasons ago, Celtic have been utterly relentless. The dynamic between us in this league is really interesting. Very amusingly, Celtic actually drew their final game - and we were 1-0 up against Rangers in ours to win the title. Rangers equalised in the 88th minute, in what was a total dead rubber for them, to ensure their arch-rivals won the league. Congratulations, you played yourself. So yeah, 118 goals scored, 22 conceded (best attack & defence) and no league title. I'm not angry this year though, Celtic deserved it. At this stage, only the top 4 cause us problems, the rest is just fodder. We did win some silverware, though. Celtic, having already won the League Cup and League, and on course for a domestic treble, were our opponents in the Scottish Cup Final. A very close game ended 0-0 and went to penalties. Despite going second and the penalties being at the Celtic fan's end we held our nerve. 5-4 we won, and celebrated our first ever Scottish Cup victory. The Champion's League was another source of success this year. We got handed a really good group. Sporting CP, Roma and Luzern. Then, we drew the 'easiest' team to face in the First KO Stage, Ajax. 5-0 to us on aggregate saw us through at a canter. We got knocked out to these nobodies with a bunch of random players nobody's ever heard of, like - Mbappe, Alexander-Arnold, Adeyemi, Rice, Moriba. Nah, just getting here was a wild journey. The Squad Ali Underhill 07c - DC - Wanted by EVERYONE. Won't sign a new contract but have 3 years left. Bryan Parker 06a - MC - Managed to finally tie him down this season. Pretty sure he's peaked but is very good for this league. Callum Smith 08b - AML/ST - The new guy that the big clubs are after. Plays as an IF(A), has minimum fee release that I can't get rid of. Transfers Finances - We're totally set up now because of the Champion's League. Youth Intake It promised much and delivered two absolute beauties. Disappointed the DC isn't better though. Steven Riordan 12a - Looking for some genuine advice here. Where do I play this guy? I play an AF up front. I was thinking maybe as a CM(A) because he can actually tackle and pass and might be lethal running into the box. He's a great DLF but I don't play one. He looks so talented, I don't want to waste that. Should I just go all in as an AF and train quickness? Paul Thompson 12b - Best personality. Needs a lot of work but the potential is there. Next Season Win the damn league!
aldojags
@SuperRedditchwhat a save so far my friend i’d struggle to do in 20 seasons with being allowed to sign players what you’ve done in 12! riordan! Ooft! My first obvious thought is he looks an incredible DLF but you’ve already said you don’t play this, what do you play? He’s 6’3, strong with good jumping reach- target forward? Neo_Geo
Season 1 - Mid-Season Update Competitions At the mid-season break I am still employed and in actual fact things are going far better than I could have imagined at the start of the challenge. Knocked out of the Dutch Cup away to Eredivise side Cambuur in the second round however in the league Katwijk are sitting a more than respectable 5th!!!! Having never played a save in the Dutch second tier I was bemused when it was announced that NEC had won a play-off place but have since seen the rules associated with this league. Youth Intake Preview I don't currently play an AMC since I prefer to have a more defensively solid offering in the middle allow the wings to attack and get crosses in for Botermans, however I'm eager to see the centre backs as my defence isn't that great. I thought I'd try to board again with the youth recruitment given I had recently signed a new contract and with a little persuasion they saw things my way Players I've let a few of the players on amateur deals leave and offered full time contracts to those that I felt might have attracted interest and the squad is looking not too bad just now. The standouts are without a doubt Botermans (SC - 3 goals in 18 starts) and Haddouti (AML - 8 assists in 18 starts) as well as Fikkert (GK - Average of 7.05) Summary Delighted with the progress so far, hopefully can keep Botermans and Haddouti free from major injuries until season end and see where that leaves us. XaW
XaW - Amsterdamsche FC- Season 2028/29 - Keuken Kampioen Divisie Squad | Transfers | Finances After the great improvement last season, we continued the good trend this season. We hang around the top 5 spots for the whole season, and even had a short stint at the top. We qualified for the playoffs after we won the 3rd period, even if we would have eventually qualified for the playoffs from the league position after the final day. So onto the playoffs. First we beat Roda after going behind in the away leg, then we comfortably beat Telstar in the 2nd round. Finally we beat NAC, who finished 3rd last in the Eredivisie after drawing the away leg 3-3 before winning 3-1 at home. This means we are going up into the top tier next season! KNVB Beker: We beat Sparta Nijerk before we lost to Vitesse (AGAIN!) in the 2nd round. Youth intake: Trophy cabinet N/A

I haven't seen any statement other than Kyle Brown saying that they're aware of the issue but don't yet have a 'workaround'. I also don't believe there have been any minor patches recently that would have altered anything. Given that were nearly in June, I'm treating this more as a feature than a bug now

I have tried it as well on the FMT20 and I didn't even manage to reach the top league in Germany. Although I think that this was due to small size of the database on my save. I think that if you choose the large database you get more players from the youth intake. What database size did you pick at the start of the save? Damn, seeing you posting and trying on the FMT makes me want to come back and try once again as well... 😄 I remember managing Leiston on FMT20 and spending 40 seasons in the Vanarama North/South! I picked the smallest database, well, to be exact I didn't pick a database at all, I just pressed to pick a team later. Try it, come back!

Makoto Nakamura
2024/25 End of Season Review The second worst defence in the league, there is no way that we would have survived without Adrian Navarro's goals. Overall Best XI 2024/25 Best XI Pablo Carmona Alberto (YP2d) - Rafa - Jorge (YP3a) - Dave Humphries Alejandro Nogueira - Alfredo (YP1a) Javier Gonzalo Saiz Dani Arribas - Adrian Navarro (YP2a)

I'm with you in wanting faster AFs than him for clubs pushing for Champions League. I know my Slovenia team is a step down from you, but if I got him I'd play him as a SS, as that's where my team is weakest in a 4-2-3-1 but that offensive of a CM would be interesting

The only 'fix' that worked for me was using FMSE and editing the Chairman's Working with Youngsters to 20. If you do that then you'll get the option back at the next continue. Worked for my Slovenia team.
