Popular Post br00kster
AEPS Aiolikos Mytilinis aka “Wind” Season Five (2026/27) Review - Greek Super League 1 Having survived our first season in the top flight, I was keen to make our stay here long term as well as improve on our measly 34 goals scored in the previous year. The season started off on an emotional note, with long serving Kritikos receiving his testimonial. A true Wind servant and a timely occurrence given his pending retirement at the end of the season. Greek Super League 1 A previous 8th place finish was improved on, along with our points total, goals scored and goal difference, finishing 7th and frustratingly missing out on the Promotion Group on goal difference only. Again, relegation was never really a threat, but a solid performance in the Relegation Group (despite a last game loss to 2nd), meant we topped the group. A much better return on goals saw our top scorer (Kotsaris) finish on 16 in his debut season, double that of the previous year's top scorer. In addition, our central midfielders provided a number of assists in the form of our (extremely) young captain Koutrobilas and another debutant, Salapatas. It is still somewhat concerning that our Goalkeeper continues to be our Highest Average Rated player throughout the season, but I am proud to report he improved on his 3rd last year to win Goalkeeper of the Year this season. One player we seem to be really struggling with is Markakis, who despite his early promise has not performed anywhere near his ability. We've tried him in a number of roles (Inside Foward, Winger, Inverted Winger), but he seems to consistently under perform and with him sulking and wanting a move to a bigger club, the £750k release clause in his contract may be activated sooner, rather than later. Apparently he's more suited to be a Whinger than a Winger, perhaps. Our 7th place finish saw us win Manager of the Year. Greek Cup Another swift exit from the Greek Cup saw us lose in our first game in the Fourth Round. Youth Intake Our 'Exceptional' Youth Recruitment status continues to provide results, with a decent looking preview. Once again there was no real stand out player, but a number of reinforcements will be in and around the first team squad next season. Given the retirement of my RB after his Testimonial, Kakaras (despite being a CB really) will provide much needed cover, along with Tsanis at CB. Top rated product Papasterianos (aka 'Daddy'), doesn't particularly 'wow' me, especially as I don't play an AMC. Finances & Improvements Where to start with our finances, we're truly struggling. Given that there is NO PRIZE MONEY for both the Greek Cup and Greek Super League 1, we continue to hemorrhage money at an alarming rate, despite an increase from £170k to £311k in TV revenue. No cash injection or takeover to speak of means we need to continue to push on and hope for European football (or another miracle), but I still feel we are too weak to compete with the larger teams in the division. No further news on our new Stadium and no improvements to facilities. Summary UP THE WIND! Edited August 29, 2022 by br00kster
Popular Post fries
Vanarama National League 2027/28 (season 6) Season Summary Great season. Second season in the National League. The goal of the season was to get to the playoffs. And so we did. We managed to get the 3rd place and thus play at home in the playoff semi-final. In the semi-finals, we were up against Woking. The first half was close. But in the second half, Woking was tired from their quarter-final and we managed to take advantage of that and score 3 goals. 3-0 and on the final. In the final, we were up against Doncaster. They scored a quick goal but we managed to answer just a few minutes after. However, they scored shortly after once again. In the second half, we played better. My goalkeeper managed to score the last regular goal of the game on a penalty. 2-2. No more goals were scored and we were on the penalty shoot-out. We started. A miss. They scored. 0-1. Another miss from us. Now from my goalkeeper Walsh who has been my safe penalty choice throughout the season with 14 goals from penalties, and 2 already in the playoffs. I thought we had lost. But in the next four penalties, Doncaster managed to score only 1 and we scored 3 goals in a row. The promotion was home!!!!!!! The best player of the season was Warwick with 22 goals. I always thought he had topscorer potential but he started the season out very badly with way more offside goals than actual goals. However, around midway through the season he learned how to score and was a great part of why we succeeded to gain promotion. Rogers, Bone-Calver, Snodin, and Siemieniec have continued their development this season. However, Snodin did not play well in the first half of the season too, with an average rating of around 6.5. A big problem is that neither of the four players are interested in signing a new contract. I hope the promotion and the forthcoming professional status can help with that. Grubb is now too old to be a starter. And he has been my only non-regen player this season. Another important player is my goalkeeper, Walsh. He is doing well, with 21 clean sheets and 14 goals from penalties. However, his abilities should are not good enough at this level. I am considering if I should replace him with a younger guy with more potential. But I am not sure yet. My preview was great with 5 stars. Lots of fine prospects. But I am not impressed with the CA. Outerbridge got 9 games at the end of the season. A player like Warwick will maybe get more game time in the next season. I lost a good prospect this season in Fotheringham, as he had only signed a youth contract. Finances and Upgrades We manage to upgrade the junior coaching budget this season and after the promotion, it was announced that Weston-Super-Mare is a professional team next season. EDIT: Shortly after this post, it was announced that we will upgrade our stadium and the youth level Edited August 29, 2022 by fries
Popular Post libbyshuss
Croatia Premier League 2042/43 League Summary Our best season yet! we were involved in a title race! League - we were involved in a title race for the first time! we were always outsiders and chasing but it was fun to be in with a shout in the final few games But in the end it was too much of a gap for us to make up Still, second means qualifying for the champions league! Europe - Conference league! but we finished 5th so we needed to go through the qualifying stages to make the group stage. And we were great all the way but somehow ended up losing in the final qualifier. I still have no idea how.... So it was quite a short European adventure this season. Players Most pleasing thing about this season was that after losing two key players in the winter transfer window we still managed to maintain our form. there's a lot of young players just waiting to step up! This season we lost our striker and talisman Mario Sertic 38B - he spent two years whining and refusing to sign a new contract when Cosenza of Italy triggered his release fee. Meant I didn't get a sell on either, but what can you do? And then Manchester United triggered the release fee of our newly capped international keeper Jure Kolaric 38A. 4.9m and now look.... again no sell on either! But it meant that Stefan Saric 41A got his chance and he really responded! he was brilliant! We also got 3 player establish them in the Croatia national team as well. Hrvoje jurkvic 36A, now our most important player, Dario Krajina 34A and Matej Krstanovic 40B, who was again number one wonderkid in the world. We're finally building a really strong, experienced side! weakness is clear though..... Youth Another nice preview with pssible our 20th promise of a golden generation in a row! Intake looked pretty good but really you can only tell when you see the personalities and determination. Fair to say a mixed bag! I do like spirited and resolute players and professional is as close to a guarantee you can get that they'll make it Finances and Upgrades All those player sales and European games add up and we're really comfortable now. The board are happy to upgrade our training facilities but the option to upgrade the youth facilities just isn't there. Nice to see the 'feature' appearing in Croatia - hopefully a takeover and new chairman is arund the corner. WhiteCat33
Mellieha Sports Club Season 17 2038 – 39 Malta Premier LeagueCompetitions | Squad | Transfers | Finances | Club Info Continental Qualification: We had a pretty easy qualifying run this year. Spoiler Champions League Group Stage: Sometimes the FM Gods just laugh in your face when they drew us AGAIN against Barcelona and Juventus. The only change was we got a harder French team with Lyon over Marseille and this year Barcelona were favorites to win. Great... We at least got 1 point in a big home draw against Juventus, but otherwise this was a campaign to forget. Spoiler Club Infrastructure We finished both our Youth Facilities upgrade as well as our Stadium Expansion over the summer, and enjoyed them for the campaign. However, the big news was the board finally decided we could get Scouting Affiliates! I went out and got us 3 Foreign Links that will all be sending us youngsters to hopefully help us improve our intakes. KF Vilaznia (Albania): Here is a 'Big Fish-Small Pond' club that is either 1st or 2nd every year in their domestic league. Basically 2* across the board, they are the smallest of our 3 clubs but highest ranked in their nation. Derry City (Northern Ireland): They had a good run in the early part of the save, but have fallen down to a mid-bottom Irish Premier league side. Club has lower reputation but higher facilities as well as draws Northern Irish players so will be interested to see what comes of it NK Domzale (Slovenia): I have a soft spot for Slovenia after my run this year as well as they have Excellent Youth Recruitment so I hope to reap the rewards for it. The Slovenian 1st league is 27th while Malta is down at 41 (with Ireland at 40) and the club has 3* training facilities, so this is the ideal place to send players out on loan. (As well as its an all grey squad so playing time is basically guaranteed). Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview Spoiler Youth Intake - Worst intake of the save hands down. 3.5* and no Top or Elite Talents. Spoiler New HOYD This intake marked 10 for my HOYD, and with our increase in reputation I finally had options on actually better candidates to take over for him. The one I chose is Leandro Rinaudo, who is the real world HOYD at Palermo, his boyhood club, before he left to have a well traveled career around Italy. He's old at 55, so I hope he lasts into his 60's as I still have a ways to go on this challenge. Spoiler Young Talents Even with this year being a total dud, we have some high potential young talent that's making progress. Nicholas Buagiar 14a: This guy has developed amazingly well and is a legitimately good FB wanted heavily by Porto & Juventus. Sucks for him I have him on a 4 year contract w/o release clause so I can reject their 3M bids. Edward Graham 13c: Our Starting Left Mezzala even with his Fickle personality he's remained happy and loyal to the club. Aymen Mifsud 16a: Just began playing him at the end of the season, and he's already doing well with his pace. He had some early injuries so has dropped potential from 5*, but hopefully that will come back in the fall as he takes over as a starting striker. Francesco Gatt 15a: He's been a weird one. Broke his leg, but upgraded himself to Ambitious and then the U20 & U19 managers played him as a RB so much hes become natural in 3 positions. Figured I'd train him there as thats where he plays but not so sure how he'll turn out. Thoughts I'm very glad to get affiliates, and will look forward to hopefully a better youth academy with my Italian man at the wheel.
Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 27 - English Premier League - Youth Intake Been super busy so its been a good 3 weeks since I have played FM. We are still trying to break into the top 4 in the EPL but have had lots of up and down seasons. However this Youth Intake could be one for the future. A great mix of nationalities and some pretty good personalities in there too (signed all tagged) Top 3 - Youth Intake 27 Ismael Alonso (YP27A) - This kid could be a star. He is actually touted as the next Luis Calvo (screenshot below). Ismael comes in with some good physical stats (although not great) and decent technicals as well. He definitely has to improve his mentals and continue to work on his personality/professionalism, but overall I have hopes that he could become an important player in the next few years. Lazar Dimitrov (YP27B) - Another decent youth player with a great personality. We actually do need to start refreshing our midfield so Lazar has come in at a pretty good time. I am going to train him as my Advanced Playmaker on attack, in order to make use of his passing ability. We are starting to work on his Vision on day 1 though as if that does not improve he won't be a starter ever. Jack Harrison (YP27C) - A relatively short defender, but one who comes in with great tackling. I am worried about his heading ability, but that can be trained. Hopeful that he could be a decent option off the bench in the future, but struggle to see him becoming a first teamer. Other News Dylan Ward (YP25A) is up to 28th in the Wonderkid list. Hoping that he can continue to improve and become a true world class player. Edited August 30, 2022 by glennuk
glennuk
I also just caught up on the 5 pages of updates I have missed (I like to read or at least skim every one). @skills - sorry to see the South Shields board be absolute nobs and sack you after you have literally made them a household name. If I ever get sacked at Worthing I would be devestated. @Neo_Geo - Congratulations on a superb achievement. Especially with the difficulty in keeping quality players. Watson156
Having read through the last 21 - 30 pages, I've now got the itch to start this challenge again. I had an attempt with Chertanovo in Russia at the start of the game, but I've decided that I want a fresh start so I've decided I am going back to Brazil where I've had previous attempts in FM21. After setting the game up and reloading about 50 times to get an idea of the available teams, I've decided to go with Boavista (RJ). Theres a couple of main reasons. Firstly they have never been in Serie C let alone Serie A (according to the ingame) so I've got a chance to create real history and build this club up. Secondly and most importantly their state league is Carioca Serie A. The State League is made up of 12 teams. The top 4 go onto the Championship Semi Final and Final. The bottom team is relegated. In the league are 4 big Serie A teams Vasco da Game, Botafogo, Fluminense & Flamengo. The majority of the time they will always be the top 4 in this league. After that the next best team will hopefully be us. The reason this State League is important (I think!) is because if you manage to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the Semi Final you are guaranteed £69k. If you make it to the Final you will get an additional £69k for losing or £207k for winning. This might not seem like a lot of money, but during the intial 5-7 years while we are trying to make our way up to Serie A this money could be massively important. It might be the difference between upgrading the Junior Coaching or not, or even stopping a player from being sold. To put it another way, there are other State Leagues that dont pay any prize money. Now for the long grind towards success or total failure!! iamnobody
Season 3 - 2023 - Ecuadorian LigaPro Serie B League - Survival This was another tough year where the experts expected me to drop. I beat expectations and came in 8th, not 9th place. I only finished 2 points better than last year and had a slightly worse GD so things haven't changed a lot yet. I feel like the top of this league is still miles above us Cup - Met expectations Played tough against a team in the league above us, but still lost early. Squad by appearances Finances This might up being the death of me if I can't get this under control. I'm way under my wage budget though. Hopefully I can make a cup run and get some money. Daddy
2022 Season Review: Just ran out of gas at the end of the season. With all the league and cup matches it was two matches a week for too much of the season. The season runs from mid June to mid October, so it's a fair amount of matches in a short time. If we had finished 4th in our group we would have reached the "Second Phase" which would have been a four team group, and more importantly for us another $120K+. Regardless it was a successful first season. Finances will probably be the most difficult part of this save. Youth Intake: Overall a pretty good intake, with some players coming in capable of getting first team minutes right away. 2023 Season Preview: We only lost one player from last season, he wouldn't renew, and while he was a good player I think we're in position to replace him and carry on from last season. Hopefully we can qualify for the second phase. I don't think a promotion is in reach yet, but you never know. JAwtunes
Cardiff Corinthians - Season 5 (2026/27) Review Competitions I was expecting to see an improvement on last years form and league finish but that didn't happen. We did manage to finish 5th, as we did last season, but unlike last season we were appalling in the European playoff and lost in the semi-final to Haverfordwest. Our cup runs were ok but we fielded weakened teams and I'm not too concerned about out performances in the cups. However, I may try to push a little harder in the main FA cup as there is a European qualification spot available to the winner. We were knocked out in the first qualifying round in the Europa Conference League by KI of the Faroe Islands who were just far too strong for us. Spoiler League League Records Cups Players This is how we lined up this season - five of the players were from our latest 2026 intake. Spoiler First Team The Fans Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year went to our star graduate from the 2026 intake, Niall Young 26A. Young was called up to the Wales u18 team this season was excellent for us all season. Youth Intake We were told to expect an excellent intake (4.5 star), which is the lowest rated preview to date - no doubt influenced by Young 26A coming through last season and raising the bar at the club. The actual intake was by far the best we have had and will (hopefully) move the team forward next season... though I said the same last season and that didn't materialise! Spoiler Intake Preview Intake Facilities and Youth Spend We ended last season strong with qualification for the Europa Conference League, so I took the opportunity to force through another junior coaching upgrade. Our appearance in Europe this season brought in more money than we have ever had before and I was fortunately able to convince the board that we should invest about 60% of it in improving our youth facilities. I am sure both of these helped in producing this years great intake. Popular Post thomas_e
I usually get really annoyed when the board accepts an offer over my head and I always protest it. I understand its part of the game, but sometimes I think they accept stupidly low offers. I would say they go back on their decision maybe half the time and they did this time. But not really sure if I wanted them to change their mind or not!! William Dekker is a world class midfielder, but he only has 18 months left on his contract and refuses to renew. We have £12 million in the bank at the moment, £111 million from this transfer would have meant financial security basically for ever! We are top of the league in January, hopefully Dekker will bring us a title! Crazy stats! He just started playing for Holland this season. 4 caps and 4 goals... He is on 180 pounds per week..... Popular Post Watson156
Season 1: End of Season Review Boavista (RJ) | Brazil Serie C | 2022 Club Staff | Transfer History | Finances Campeonato Carioca Serie A (State League) League Table | Results As this is my pre-season and was the first look at my new team, I think I can be pretty happy with how it went. We obviously got beaten by the 4 big teams, although we were better than the score looks against Vasco & Fluminense. The early draw against Bangu was a sign of things to come throughout the season. Created chances but couldn't score. The loss to Angra Audax at the end of the tournament was also a really big let down, one of my initial aims for this team was to always finish in the top 5, but when by this time in the season we had a couple of big injuries and were already starting to look forward towards the Brasil Cup and the League campaign. Copa do Brasil 1st Round Tree | Results We got a horrible draw against a Serie A team. Going forward we really need to get some easier draws because we need the money! We battled hard in this game, but honestly we Operario deserved the win. It's such a shame that the stupid Higer Seed rule exists, as we might have had a chance in extra time. It's a big problem in Brazil and its a big reason why the Serie A teams stay richer than everyone else. Brasileiro Serie C League Table | Results Well we survived! This was a horrible league season and one where I was pretty adamant that we were going to get relegated or sacked. Off the pitch the players started to turn against me, and then moaned about everything and anything. On the pitch we couldn't buy a win, couldn't score & even if we finally managed to beat the goalkeeper we would hit the woodwork. Looking at the results its very easy to see that this season was completly about the first 2 months vs the last 2 1/2 months. We lost some terrible games including to the worst 2 teams Parana & Floresta. The two defeats to the Botafogo's were also bad especially the second one. We missed a 4th minute penalty, created lots of chances, missed sitters, hit the post and then conceded in the 95th minute (despite there only meant to be 3 extra minutes). After the disgusting loss to Floresta I decided that I would go a lot more hands off. My assistant manager would take control of training & all press conferences. I mainly wanted to see if he could manage to stop the players moaning about training and also raise their training performances. Something seemed to click as we won 3 straight and managed to move ourselves clear of the relegation places. A further 3 wins from the last 6 meant that we comfortably finished 14th and could start to think about next season. The pleasing thing despite all the negativity is that we managed to beat some good teams. America (RN) & Londrina are the two wins that stand out. Now this coming season if we can become a more reliable and start to beat the poor teams around us then hopefully we can finish towards the top half, maybe sneak into the playoff places. * * * Squad 1st Team | Under 20's Eron | Kadu Fernandes | Wellington Silva | Renan Donizete | Stefano Yuri Overal the squad did about as expected with some exceptional performances. It's quite an elderly squad which includes our two full backs Eron (30) & Wellington Silva (34) but despite their age they showed their quality time and time again. Silva is staying for another season and despite his age still has some fantastic attributes, although his physicals are starting to fall away. Should be good enough for another league campaign. Eron is a different matter. He is club captain and has done nothing but moan and be uncooperative. He is currently considering his options and will probably be leaving on a free transfer. In a couple of years I would welcome his departure but at the minute we cant afford to lose a decent player. The two 27 year olds Kadu Fernandes & Renan Donizete played really well especially during our league campaign. Fernandes will move into a leadership role this coming season and has certainly cemented his place as our starting CB. If he can continue to improve then theres no reason to believe that he couldn't still be our starting CB in 4/5 years time. Donizete initially stood out as an CAM but throughout the season mainly played as a CM. He started to show glimpses that he could become a dominant and clinical passer in this league including his 4 assists game against Brusque. I was also massivly thankful for his versatility as throughout our many injury crisises he was able to slot in on the wings and didn't look out of place. Depending on future intakes I could see that becoming his full time position. Up front it was all about Yuri. Without him I don't think we would have survived. He was resonably reliable and now that we have survived we will look to improve him by teaching him some traits that will hopefully increase his goal tally next season. We had to extend his contract and offer him an extra thousand per week, but he just proved to be indispensable to us. No doubt when we need to extend his contract again this coming season his demands will go up again but so far he is worth it. A quick note on the Under 20's. For the majority of the season it was fine simulator! I was pretty dissapointing that the fines didn't result in a big jump in attributes but every little helps! There is some potentially decent players that will have roles for us. One of the two CB's will be called up this season, and if Mateus Lustosa recovers well from his bad injury (damaged spine) then he will get a shot. Ideally it would have been during the state league but that is probably coming a bit too soon for him. Nilton will be released. All he does is moan. He had some terrible match ratings including a 5.8. Obviously he was fined 1 weeks wages and complained that it was unfair. This went on and on all season so Ive had enough! * * * Youth Intake Preview | Talents | Intake Dorismar Felipe | Almeida | Paulo Rogerio | Lucas Silva Overall not too unhappy with this intake. Obviously there are a lot of personalities that aren't good enough but thankfully the best potential players seem to have missed them. The spread of positions is probably the best thing looking back at this intake. While I am going to need a Goalkeeper very soon, we have filled the needs at RB & LB, RM & LM. Looking towards next season I am hopeful that we will get some better personalities and as previously stated a Goalkeeper. The reported star candidate is Dorismar Felipe. If we can obviously improve his physicals and mentals then I agree that he will become a fantastic addidtion to this team. Looking at his attributes the pleasing thing is that the majority are already resonably high. By the time he is 18 I expect that he's in the first team and looking like a good Serie C player. Defensive Midfielder Almeida looks to have massive potential. I like his personality, media handling & determination. There are however a few glaring weaknesses that will need to be addressed. His tackling, positioning, off the ball, decisions, composure and stamina all mean that unless they improve a lot, he will be moved up to play either CM or CAM. He's not long turned 16 so he has plenty of time to improve and become a star midfielder for us. Midfielder Paulo Rogerio is another fantastic prospect. Some of his current attributes are already good enough for Serie C. 1st Touch, Passing, Vision & Flair all seem to suggest that he will become our main assister. Just like Almeida his physicalls are awful and that along with his media handling are the main things that I can see holding him down. Lucas Silva im not sure will make it as a ST. He seems to be better suited to play on the wings or even as another CAM. He has better physicals than many of the top prospects but they're still not great. If his tackling was better then I would maybe consider moving him to play CM but I don't think thats possible. We will just have to wait and see how he develops * * * Edited August 30, 2022 by Watson156

Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2027/28 - Super League 1 A slight digression in terms of on the field performances and I directly put that against transitioning out some of the legacy starters particular in the centre of midfield. However it's probably the year off the field that we needed which I'll touch on in a sec. We finished 10th in the first stage of the league which included a run of 11 games without a win! We just couldnt score at all, after the first 14 games we only had 5 goals. Luckily, 4 of those goals were in x2 wins. So over the short Xmas break, i decided to arrange a friendly with a non-league team to get the goals in and confidence up and we managed to just get over the line with a 3 - 2 win. This seemed to do the trick as we then went on 6 game unbeaten run with 3 of those as wins including a 4 - 1 drubbing against Panachaiki. We ended the season in decent form and rose a couple spots as some of the new youngsters really flourished towards the end. Off the field: We were taken over by a consortium who wiped our 3m debt and some change to give us a bank balance of 800k positive. Of course i knew this wasnt going to last so made up for it as much as i could with now the ability to study some badges and renew staff contracts who were asking for more than what we could to offer previously. And also these two little nuggets (although the youth recruitment improvement came when we were in the negative by 700k or so): Finances are still the issue and are now even more precarious with these improvements costing us more. Bit of a horse before the cart scenario but im all chips in to get that European coin! Youth intake was positive as always although was hoping for a decent talent up front: Not sure how this happened but boy have my prayers been answered!! Dont think i ever got a player like this at 15yo in over 20 seasons at South Shields! Not too fussed about the personality as he doesnt need to develop at all, will be my best player by a mile! Cheeky bugger has already asked for a min rel clause in his first professional contract, might be losing him quick id say... The Greek league coefficients have improved over the years significantly and are now 8th in Europe, which has meant our team ranking have climbed up a lot which is great! The only negative for this year was our downgrade to youth training facilities which we wont have any ability to improve for a long while.
glennuk
@skills that is the first time I have seen a demanded min fee in a youth players first contract. I am SURE you are going to lose him for 650k, but hopefully you can offer him a new contract in 6 months without the clause. He would come in and play for me in the Premier League!
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 27 - English Premier League - End of Year Review League - 10th - We didn't have a good second half of the season, the position graph tells the story well I think. I think part of that is that I am trying to integrate some of the younger players and rotate some of the older (29-31yr old) players out slowly. We are still one of the best defensive teams, but struggled even more with goals. A change in the front three is incoming I feel (AML, AMR, ST). Euro Cup - We dominated our group, destroyed Roma in both games and then didn't show up when it mattered the most and crashed out in the Second Knockout Round. Oh and of course Roma won it all. The Squad Well we are still looking for our future star striker. Jamie H (YP18D) has shown some promise, but is not consistent (22 goals last year, 12 this year), spurs too many chances and has become injury prone. Both of my Wingers are struggling too. I do have some youngsters with high potential who I am planning to bring into the starting line up, including Dylan Ward (YP25A) and Tom Rowe (YP24A) both can play AML or ST. My defenders are just immense and all are the only players on the team averaging above a 7.0. Finances We now have around 400 million in the bank. The good news is that I rarely even consider transfer offers. More good news is even after our relatively disappointing season our shirt sales are up 75,000 this year. Other News My training facilities were downgraded....then immediately we decided to re-upgrade them. We also finally saw a decent chunk of money from a 50% clause. When we don't need the money My current affiliates are well spread out, but I think I am at the max capacity. My request for affiliates and a new stadium are denied every time. The Future Not being in Europe for the first time in a long while may actually help us. We can focus solely on the league and try to break into the top 4. I will be bedding in some of my younger players with high potential and hoping that we see a leap up the table.

Streetpete
Chemnitz FC - Season 2. 2. Liga Preview looked like this, signaling the classic golden generation Youth intake was pretty good 4*5 stars according to my HOYD, with Maximillian Stirz having professional personality, while others were less good, but lets hope we can get something out of them anyways. Stirz was the best though, looking like this, he is gonna play inverted wing back on the left, since that is what I play with. Season went pretty good considering we were promoted and the quality of our squad. It was very up and down with good and bad streaks, but we looked better towards the end of the season. My board is very nice, upgrading most of what I want, which is a experience I have rarely had in FM before, especially after so short time, so we are making great progress with facilities and such, also because there is a lot of money in the second German division, which I didnt remember either, so thats a very fortunate surprise.
Popular Post iamnobody
Season 4 - 2024 - Ecuadorian LigaPro Serie B League - Thriving We were predicted to be dead last with 150-1 shot to win the division. We didn't win, but we ended up in our highest position ever in 5th place. We only spend one day in the regelation zone and finished with our highest point total ever as well. I'm hoping we can keep pushing, but it will be difficult. Cup - meh Squad by appearances Most of my players over 30 have their contracts ending this year. I'm planning on getting rid of them so next year will be a real youth movement. My other biggest problem is trying to sign my GK to a new contract. He wants me to sign new players and as of now he won't sign a new contract unless that is a promise. Finances - meh Youth Intake Preview - a full 1.5*'s better than last year. Actual Intake Not a bad intake at all. I'm only signing a few since I have over 60 players at the club right now.
Popular Post br00kster
AEPS Aiolikos Mytilinis aka “Wind” Season Five (2027/28) Review Pre-Season Heading into our third season in the top flight, we're almost to the point where all of our original players are not in our first eleven plans, with only Patas remaining at CB. In addition, a boost in Greece's coefficient meant an additional Champions Cup place would be available in the following season (2028/29). Greek Super League 1 This season just really seemed to click, new players were coming in and performing, existing players were maturing and I felt we weren't just making up the numbers. Sure, some of our games we rode our luck, but we're establishing ourselves as a team who can really dominate a game against the lesser sides and put up more of a battle against the bigger boys, finishing the regular season on a positive goal difference. A 5th place finish saw us appear in the Championship Group for the first time. Frustratingly, the 39 points we accrued last season would have seen us finish 5th instead of 7th, but we play the cards we're given. Greek Super League 1 (Championship Group) Things didn't particularly go to plan here and the gulf between the top four and the rest of the league is apparent for all to see. We picked up a measly 4 points in 10 games and a -11 goal difference, really struggling along with OFI, however still finishing 5th, meaning we will enter the EURO Cup II in the Third Qualifying Round next season! Kotsaris continued to cement his place as our number one forward picking up 14 goals (16 last season), our captain Kourtobilas continued to top the assists chart with an improved 7 (6 last season) and a special mention should go to Tsanis who topped the Highest Average Rating in his debut season. Coming through the intake as a 2 star current ability, he certainly found his feet and is without a doubt our most improved player this season. Although we've renewed his contract, we'll need to keep an eye on the £1.8m release clause. Greek Cup We finally won a game, but then lost our second - Fifth Round exit. Youth Intake Certainly a mixed bag when it came to the preview. # Once again, no stand out stars with us only having 2 star abilities, but the potential is there. The three stand outs are Xydis (X gonna give it to yaaaa), who will likely be a longer term replacement for Markakis who still will not renew his contract, despite nobody sniffing around his 750k release clause. Markakis is going into his final year of his contract, so we will have to make a decision there and potentially cash in this Summer. Bousekas looks to be a potential replacement for now 31 year old Patas, our only remaining inherited player and another CM in the form of Kasianos gives us a potential replacement should our Captain's (Kourtobilas) release clause be met. Finances & Development Our finances still continue to be a problem, despite a £650k cash injection from the board we still ended the season in a worse position than last. We took advantage after this injection to request improvements and were able to see one to our Junior Coaching. We finally saw an update on our new Stadium, which is much needed given we once again sold out our limited number of season tickets and averaging 98% of our capacity. Sadly, £6.75m for only 6,641 capacity is somewhat underwhelming, especially given the two year construction time. Our finances are going to continue taking a battering in the short term. The move from 'Municipal Stadium of Mytilini' to 'Aiolikos Stadium' in itself is a downgrade on name. Summary UP THE WIND! Blowing into Europe.
Popular Post thomas_e
VV Katwijk Season Summary 2033 - 2034 Champions of Holland! We managed to secure our first Eredivisie title in a season that saw Ajax and PSV Eindhoven start the season in miserable fashion. After 10 games they were both closer to the relegation zone than the title race. This gave us a great start as we came out of the starting blocks like a rocket! In the second half of the season we were far less impressive which was strange, considering that we didn't have any CL games after the Christmas break, having been knocked out in the group stage. We struggled with injuries at times, not necessarily to our best players, but we simply dont have good enough players on the bench! Two-three players out with injury means a whole different team on the pitch quality wise. We had a really tough CL group, facing Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munchen and Lazio. We finished with only two points, drawing twice against Lazio and finishing bottom of the group. I have played this challenge a lot, so for me to say that William Dekker is the best player I've had on this challenge might be a bold call, but I am still saying it. Just wow!!! He is absolutely incredible. The only major downside is that he has one year left on his contract.... I hoped he would renew after the league title, but so far he isn't interested. I might actually considering selling him this summer. We have money, but we dont have Premier League/La Liga money. We will not win the CL next season, far from it, so we still have a long way to go! Luckily we have a couple of good attacking midfielders in the U18 team, but Dekker will prove irreplacable! Martjin Klooster is the other big star in the team. He had a crazy good season and is the kind of striker that can win games even when the team isn't playing that well. 29 goals in the league says it all. Absolute class! In Holland there is only one spot in the CL group stage, with the runner-up having to go through qualification. I hope Ajax makes it through as we need to get more points for Holland on the board in Europe! Season Summary Key Players Youth Intake

Daddy
The team started on a terrible run with major injuries and underperforming xG by a wide margin. I never really liked the players, they whined a lot and the "leaders" always refused to help. In my head I had a funny thought of this random American coach in Indonesia basically having a mental breakdown. Since I didn't care to try to win I decided to see if I could get fired before being relegated. This meant I threw a water bottle no matter the scenario. I stormed out of every press conference. I opened every match immediately berating the team. In fact every chance to shout, no matter the score, I berated the team. When the team wanted a meeting about their treatment I kicked chairs and yelled at them. Hilariously they all backed down. Every time someone complained I picked the most aggressive options and they all backed down. The owner wants a meeting to "discuss results" I tell them they couldn't possibly do better and they agreed! Suddenly, results started getting better, the players even responded positively to me storming out of a press conference. We wound up a few points shy of safety and I wonder if I had started this earlier if things would have turned around. Players were even reacting well to the water bottle throwing and berating. I picked this as a change of pace not expecting a deep run. It came to pass. I just wanted a quick break from Europe before going back to one of the two countries I wanted another try in. Austria.
Neo_Geo
@thomas_e congrats on the first Eredivisie win. I had a similar scenario when I had a star midfielder, Christiaan Burger (nowhere near as good as Dekker though), and he was the same didn't want to extend, wanted to move to a bigger club, I promised he could leave if his minimum fee was matched (like I had a choice ). I decided to keep him that final season and see if I could get him to talk during the first half of the season. He dropped his unhappiness but he still didn't want to talk so in December I started to offer him around and was lucky at the deal Burnley gave me just 2 weeks before they could talk to sign him for nothing. You've got the first title, I think you should sell him, based on his stats he has to be a 170+ PA player who's probably not that distant from it, he's not going to want to stay at Katwijk much longer if other teams have been tracking him for a while and if you can get a really solid offer then doing it now seems the best time for it. @Daddywhat an interesting change of pace with the whole insanity RP

Neo_Geo
Santa Venera Lightnings FC Season 4 (2025/26) Review Competitions Spoiler This season saw the first European appearance by the club and just as quickly as it came about, it ended as we drew Qairat Almaty who were just simply too strong for us at this stage of the challenge and we went out 5-1 on aggregate. Brief as it was it still did a lot of good with us receiving £213,000 meaning I could ask the board to make some improvements, I opted for training facilities as I was seeing very little improvement in the players over the previous 3 seasons (granted at this level the CA and PA are probably very close so the improvements aren't likely to be that great anyway). So we now have 1 star training facilities. So with Europe done and dusted in July the focus was the league and our good run from last year continued into this year, by matchday 9 we were top of the league and we stayed there until 4 games to go. At this stage I hadn't lost a league game (drawing 1-1 at home with both Hibernians and Floriana and a 0-0 draw away to Valletta being the only blemishes). With 4 games to go I had Floriana at home in the FA Trophy in the 2nd round and I really wanted a chance at winning the cup this season, so I fielded a full strength side even though I had HIbernians away at the weekend. We were 5 points clear of Hibernians at this stage but with far weaker goal difference meaning I could only really allow for 1 slip up. We beat Floriana (for the first time in the save) 1-0 but then had tired players and as a result we lost 2-0 to Hibernians and the lead was cut down to 2 points with 3 to go and I had a derby with Pieta Hotspurs (H), Birkirkara (A) and Floriana (A) on the last day of the season. We beat Pieta 2-1 to remain 2 clear We beat Birkirkara 2-0 but Hibernians remained 2 behind Last game against Floriana which we kicked off at 12 with Hibernians playing at home to Balzan (midtable team) at 3pm, anything less than a win would mean Hibernians just need a win and they'd retain the title outright or on goal difference We bottled it and played really badly in what was our biggest match of the season, second place is still really good and an improvement from last year but it was soooo close I then hit continue and my next news item came through...... Turns out Hibernians bottled it even more than we did and lost 2-1 at home to Balzan after being 1-0 for most of the game Malik Trustfall scored a second half double to sink the reigning champions and hand The Lightnings their first league title!` So no trophy presentation or lap of honour but who cares, a title is a title! As far as the cup is concerned...... We won on penalties despite being horrific in front of goal during the game, one of the two shots on target was this from Attard (25E) for his first goal for the club https://imgur.com/gallery/betEMBx Youth Spoiler Youth intake was decent this year with 3 walking straight into the first team Not thrilled with the personalities of the last 2 but right now I'll take improvements in the current ability of the squad. Players Spoiler Nothing really to report on for the players, no one really stood out this year although my keeper was definitely the reason behind our success with 13 clean sheets in the league and we only conceded 12 goals in total in the 26 games, definitely the foundation of the league win. With Albert Borg (26C) becoming my key player overnight just simply by arriving at the club I think my defence will have a big part to play in our attempts to regain the title next year. Club Spoiler As mentioned earlier the main change was the training facilities upgrade taking us up to 1 star: Manager Spoiler Nothing to report here either, I won the coach of the year and my attributes continue to improve thanks to the coaching badges (now studying for Continental A license) Stats Spoiler Edited September 1, 2022 by Neo_Geo

XaW
Fun fact (or rather not so fun) is that in the top flight in Uruguay, you can't play on a youth contract, the issue is you can't get a senior contract before being age 17, so I have to wait a bit for my youngsters to become available. I should have looked at that before I let so many players leave.... Empty bench ahoi!
Watson156
Season 2: Mid Season Review Boavista (RJ) | Brazil Serie C | 2023 Carioca Serie A (State League) League Table | Results A pretty dissapointing performance from us. To only win 3 games is nowhere near good enough. The losses to Resende & Madureira were terrible and ones that we cant afford. The draw to Portuguesa was another bad result, and we really cant afford to be drawing at home to fellow Serie C team Volta Redonda if we want to break into the top 4. Like I said it was a dissapointing performance but at least there are some signs of potential. A good 3-3 draw away to Serie A Fluminense showing that on our day were not too far away from at least pushing for promotion. While we lost to the other big 3, this year the results were a lot closer. Copa do Brasil Result Another Serie A team in the first round, and another loss because they are the higher seed. This was a big chance for us to progress. While Ponte Preta are a Serie A team they have just been promoted after finishing 3rd last season. We went 2-0 up and managed to hang on to the lead until the 72nd minute. Unfortunately we just couldn't create another good chance in the last 20 minutes, so we went out. The £150k appearance fee was a welcome addition but with us now effectivly £1m in debt, it didn't make a difference. We really need the board to put some money into the club or we need another board. Im pretty sure however in Brazil that presidents are appointed through elections, so Im hoping that there is one very soon, and not every 4 years. Watson156
Good news, the president has injected some money to help the club. Bad news, were now only £400k in debt! Edited September 1, 2022 by Watson156
Popular Post Daddy
Giving Austria a second try. I had a short stint a few months back and got a quick axe. Hopefully this run goes better. Austria Salzburg was created after Red Bull took over the old club known as Austria Salzburg, so it'll be neat to have this natural rival as the goal to topple. 2022-23 Season Preview: The four second teams that cannot be promoted are not ranked, so it shows 12th, but it really means predicted to be 16th. I just need 13th to be safe. Only one team gets promoted so it'll be tough to move up. That's not really the goal this year though.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Croatia Premier Division 2043/44 (season 22, i think) Season Summary An equally frustrating and exilerating season! League - We started superbly - 6 wins and a draw from the first 7 - to sit top of the table and have me dreaming of a potential title push. But then we went on a run of only one win in 12 to push those dreams firmly out of mind. But then went on an unbeaten run of 12 to make me think maybe next season we could do it! In the end a good 4th finish and European qualification, albeit not the Champions League Champions League - so we had to go into the qualification rounds to get into the group stage. First round was against Sporting Lisbon! A real test! Which we passed with flying colours. Sadly, Antwerp proved a bridge too far in the next round. Europa League - So straight into the group stage where we got Sporting Lisbon (again), Hearts (who went through against us a couple of seasons back) and Olympiakos. So, a chance for Sporting to get revenge on us and a chance for us to get revenge on Hearts! We were brilliant all through the Europa League, got through the group and then beat Leverkeusen and Milan to get through to the Semi-Final! A really good draw at Elland Road put us in a great position for the second leg but unfortunately Leeds beat us 3-1 in a really close game. But still, Semi-Final was a great achievement for us! Players So On December 31st we got this messages about our right winger/striker Stefan Saric 41A:- and we also got a raft of offers for him, including two that triggered his release fee of 9.5m (which I thought made him safe for a few seasons!). I also accepted an offer of 8.5m with a sell on frpm Cosenza, just because it had a sell on. So, a year to the day that Saric replaced Mario Sertic 38B, who was bought by Cosenza after they triggered his release fee.. but never mind! because I had Patrick Radosevic 42A waiting to step up, and he has a 26m release fee! he looks goooooood!!!! finished with 12=1 goals from 23 games! Youth Another golden generation! and what looks like our worst intake yet, only i don't think it is, I think it's just our first team squad is the strongest it has ever been, which is reflected in the stars. Hopefully. Weirdly, I signed most of the good talents! Because when I checked their determination/personality they were nearly all +10 and fairly proffessional! I'll sign anyone over 10 and with a good personality because you never know what can happen, and i've managed to get some really good players out of intakes like that So I'll be really interested to see what happens with 44G-44L - I reckn at least one of them will end up a 4 star potential by the time they are 20! Wonderkids Our first official wonderkid that's still at the club! (Bajaric 35B was labelled a wonderkid once he was at Man City) Our next job is to try and keep hold of him for as long as we can. At the moment he won't sign a new ne and has a 19.75m release fee clause of Champions League teams, but it also has 4 years left to run. I'll be amazed if we can keep him that long to be honest! Finances and Upgrades So a 50% sell on clause finally paid off! I sold Mijo Bajaric 35B to Manchester City a few seasons ago for £1.5m +50% and they finally sold him, after seasons of sending him out on loan, to Roma £29m is not a bad windfall! and added to the European money we had more than enough to go beg the board for upgrades. So we now have a maxed out training ground and another level of youth facilities! and a ridiculous amount of money in the bank! yay!!!! Career We're finally getting somewhere now! and those young starlets are increasingly more and mre happy to stay with us as we get into Europe. A proper title challenge has to come next! The story definitely intrigued me as well. That and along with the purple kits pushed me to pick this club over the other options I saw over a few runs at seeing what was out there. I should have looked at that before I let so many players leave.... Empty bench ahoi! similar thing with the Greek leagues but fortunately they sign professional contracts when they're 16
Popular Post SkiIIs
Season 2028/29 - Super League 1 Was secretly hoping for a better season and to challenge for the promotion group meaning top 6. However it was much of the same where we would have mixed results around the teams around us and then get beaten by the top teams. We did improve by 5 points and 2 spots so there is some progress. The relegation group was a chance to try new things and retrain positions. My only position of concern right now is CB, need one through this years intake as ive got nothing coming through. Finances reached an all time low at over 3.5m in the red. We did get a nice uplift in sponsorship money which helped us a little but we are in dire straights! We also reached the semi final but lost to Olympiakos 7 - 0 on aggregate, this gave us 212k but barely touches the sides! Despite all this, we were still able to improve our youth recruitment to Excellent so this is a clear case of going for broke! We're at a point where i cant renew our coaches contracts right now, so might lose a few of them next year but hopefully they stay on rolling month on month. Just as I type, A. Madrid have offered a contract to my GK coach... Youth preview was all that i could ask for, with 2 CB listed as A: Youth intake was a bit of a reality check after getting a 4.5 star CA player last season. Seems like a forgot to take a pic Here's the best two prospects. The CB's are a bit meh that came through. Surprising to me is that 2 of my players made the NxGn list: Fragis had a brilliant first season scoring 16 goals all up: Basinas was the best prospect in the intake the year before and is a solid BBM now: I seriously believe we have the talent to challenge the Top 6, hoping next year is the year!
