Popular Post BigJack
FC United Season 7 - 2029/30 Season Preview Preview Predicted Finish = 24th Competitions Overview VNL - 18th League Table FA Cup - Lost in the first round to Stockport County. FA Trophy - Lost in the fourth round to Stourbridge. We started the season really well and were in the top half up until the turn of the year, and then we just fell off and struggled to pick up consistent results. We drew with bottom team Gosport before spanking 2nd placed York 5-2 as one example. By April we were in the relegation battle without ever really looking like going down and we never sat in the bottom 4 at any point this season. We were better defensively this season so I am hopeful we can kick on next season and try finish higher than 18th, with this being the 3rd year in a row we have finished there. Playing Squad Best 11 Transfers Squad Another season of development with some doing really well. The defence has been a lot better this season as we conceded 31 goals less than last season, another improvement like that and we should start to climb the table. Howarth 28b hasn't developed at all really and I am going to need to find another option at RB where as the rest are all doing ok and looking like they can keep getting better. Gaye 27a Howarth 28b Hendon 28a Turnbull 28c Schorah 27c Jones 28c Scanlon 29c Mcdermott 24c Youth Development Preview Intake Another decent intake and one I think could be our best one yet. A few decent personalities and a couple players who can improve our first team. We have needed a winger or 2 and Brook 30b and Ibrahim 30c have come in and covered us on both sides. Jabra 30a instantly becomes 3rd choice CB with Marsh adding to the middle of the park. Jabra 30a Brook 30b Ibrahim 30c Steele 30d Williams 30e Marsh 30f Symington 30g Finances and Facilities Finances Facilities Another decent year financially turning a £225k profit. We also got the upgrade to our youth level from 4 to 3 that the board promised a year ago. Other Club Records All Time Best 11 We missed out on £1m by selling the 50% clause for Fallon 24a last season. We got £1.4m to sell but he moved to Burnley for £4.8m which is a bit gutting but what can you do. Edited November 13, 2022 by BigJack
Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Review Season 3 We're going up! A pretty dominant season all around. We ran out to a large lead after the preliminary stage, allowing us to coast a bit and give the youth more playing time in the second half. Losing Nicolai Hougaard 00a at the beginning of the season was made worse by the fact that he was released and a free agent by January. Looking forward to next season, we need to try our best to avoid relegation and seeing where our finances end up. This season, we stuggled a bit with the new youth upgrades taking chunk our of our surplus. Turning semi-pro will allow us to lock down our best talents, but will also negatively impact our finances further. A few of our key youth players: Spoiler Ali Arslan 01a looks even better than last, and still has a great personality. He's willing to enter contract talks, so hopefully we can lock him down for a couple years in the offseason. Luca Pedersen 01b has the mass of GKs from the more recent intakes breathing down his neck, but I will continue to give him every chance in the first team. Hard to pass up a young player with a Driven personality. He was solid in goal this year, allowing only 36 in 32 and scoring 8 himself from set pieces. Once he turned 16 in October, I immediately put Jørgen Spork 02a into the starting DC(D) spot. He's tall, not noticeably slow, and can tackle, perfect for what I need out of my defenders. He's got a Fairly Professional personality, but hasn't really improved yet, so I'm hoping he can kick off next year with more playing time and semi pro training. Martin Kofoed 01f continues not be rated by my ass man, but it's hard to argue against his production. 5 goals and 7 assists in 31 matches this year, and he is improving (albeit slowly) with a good Fairly Professional personality. He will be pushed for minutes next year by some of the youth from this most recent intake. A look at our finances and the lack of transfers.

Popular Post WhiteCat33
A.S. Rupensia Lusitanos Fiels Season 5: Luxembourg Division of Honour (Tier 2) Matches | Squad | Transfers |Facilities | Finances | Supporters Competitions: Cup: Man we suck at cups. We lost again in the 2nd round this time going all the way through a penalty shootout Spoiler League I'm very happy where we ended up, right at the points I targeted at the start of the season as no one has ever been relegated with 38 points. The league format has 2/3 of the games in the fall with one game a week even when the cup is happening so we took a morale spiral when things didn't go our way. Thankfully in the new year we have our U21's as a punching bag to get our offense back into form as games are only every other week. Because we still are Obscure with 0.5* Rep I literally can't get anyone domestically to play friendlies against us other than the U21s, which is annoying, but we made do. Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Spoiler Youth Intake Ah the joys of actually having a HOYD! Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler I Like this ‘quick’ ambitious striker and the fact he likes being a PF and P is perfect as that’s the pairing I use A RB which is good though my current one from last year has played and developed well this year Second striker who isn’t bad at all for this low of a league. This Cape Verde dual national is ambitious and if he develops could be useful as a FB Best XI Used mostly the same squad except my original 01 striker who just couldn't cut it at this level so I moved Dione Chixaro 01n, my fast winger, into the PF role, and he did well enough though both Strikers went through scoring droughts. Also changed my CM on defense and RB who both did well enough this year but are easily replaceable with the new talent arriving. Spoiler Youth Products Highlights Spoiler GK Upgraded to Resolute with enough disciplinary actions For an awful personality & media handling this LM has developed and played really well My PK striker still did well enough up a level and is lightly improving. He will have competition next season though with our good striker intake, but really this season's performance is sufficent for me to give him another go. My Big Man CB still doing his thing even though he doesn't have any skill Gave this Ambitious CB a shot even with his pretty poor defensive attributes and he performed very well, though is another easily replaceable player with how short he is (for a CB) Club Infrastructure None, we are -100k in debt now. Coaching Badges No coaching badges, but my chairmen actually found me Fairly Professional U21 Head & Assistant coaches! We are basically full staff now for a non-contract side: Spoiler My coach: Love how his WwY is going up so much, didn't see that happen to my coach in England. Spoiler Thoughts @DazRTaylor Glad to see the database is out and you're onto your next Andorran Adventure! @jepze Welcome to Luxembourg! I've really enjoyed this low-level league, and I hope it's the change of pace you're looking for. I'll be interested to see what nationalities your club generates and how you find the micro-nation experience. If you're like me and didn't load any leagues be ready to take years to get any staff members. In my transfer link at the top you'll see I've already begun the great purge of players now that we have a useful academy. I'll be slimming down the squad significantly in the next few years especially since we are a financial wreck. Those 30 p/w Youth Contracts add up. Objective is probably to remain in this division for 2-3 more years to mature the squad before we challenge for top-flight. Really only a couple of my players are rated at the level of the league below us, so I have a lot of development to do. How's Luxembourg doing? better than us. We aren't gaining any reputation it seems as we are one of only a handful of Obscure clubs left. So 'technically' we are now 95 / 102, guess we need to win some titles. Spoiler And with our shock Portuguese youth internationals we now have an Academy International tracker! Will my Luxembourgish club become the best Portuguese Academy in the world!?! It sure is, but at least the teams around you are all pretty bad and start with similarly thin rosters. What helped me was delegating the staff hiring to the chairman as he actually found most of my staff members. Granted that still took over a year to happen. Not sure if view-only generates staff members (I didn't think it did). Not sure how many Luxembourgish staff members nations like Belgium or France will generate though. Popular Post Braumiller
Notes It won't look it from the above, but this was a lot better than last season. That said, the precipitous drop off at the end of the season happened again. We lost our last 5 this time, 6 of the last 7 to fall out of our mid table safety. Relegation was never on the cards, but these end of year losses of form are worrying and frustrating. We played in a new "withdrawn 442". Most would call it a 460. Basically from a 442, the two MCs dropped to DMC and the two forwards dropped to a pair of shadow strikers. We were a lot more solid (until the end of the season) and competitive for nearly all games. In fact early in the season we had a run of 9 unbeaten. 4 wins, 5 draws, only 4 conceded during that stretch. I began wondering if the formation held us back at the end of the year, but I think I will give it one more year. Plus our stand-out intake kid this year is an AMC who looks like he can make a contribution. Going into year 8 and we are still massive favorites for the drop (200-1 in the league, next longest odds are 3 promoted teams at 33-1, 50-1 & 50-1). I guess I should see this as a solidification period, but it feels a little stagnant. Screenshots

Popular Post Streetpete
So after failing miserably with Holbæk I am back with an attempt in Denmark, this time with Slagelse B&I. We were predicted to finish 8th but I had some hopes for the team since there are some good players, although the defence isnt the best. I signed this guy as HOYD, professional personality and okish in other regards. Season review- Season 1 23/24 It ended up being a great season, we did lose a few players most notably Uffe Bech, but thats to be expected since he is too good for the level B But league table ended like this So promotion is ours, and we are now semi-professional! On top of of that we had a really good youth intake. Lots of players with potential and some of them good enough to already play a role in our team. Some of the best are Mosegaard fits well into the system and is already going to be our starting player on right back, also scored a cracking goal in one of his first matches, so a good start for him. Same case for Allentoft, who has some good pace/acceleration and has had a good start with 3 goals in 4 matches. Larsen is also already pretty good and might play as one of our two strikers next season. Christiansen is also a pretty good player already and with fairly professional personality he is one to watch out for. Kinda same for Jukic, although he doesnt fit too well into my current system. We also got upgrades to youth recruitment and junior coaching, and I got 2 coaching badges during the season. Popular Post MacronQLF
TECOS FC END OF THE SEASON 2023-2024 We won the closing stage which mean we're going up ! Really surprised about this i didn't expect the team to go up the first year and to do this kind of run , the team has been absolutely fantastic as im not a great coach normally, im still a bit anxious because we don't have have a great team for first division and it will be really hard to not go down and even harder to not be sacked The finances of the club are in a mess too, we losed a lot of money so we couldn't improve the facilities which are not bad but not great either and im afraid too that the club will accept any others in the mercato and i won't be able to contest. Sadly Carlos Arreola, one of my best CB will leave the club as he doesn't want to sign a new contract and it will be a major flaw of my team next season as i don't have any good replacement available But we have a lot of quality going on youth team and it's spread around the pitch so we will try next year to incorporate first regens to the team even if none have the level to be starters, Wish us good luck for next season ! Rupensia Lusitanos Fiels Season 6 2028-2029: Luxembourg Promotion d’Honneur (Tier 2) Matches | Squad | Transfers |Facilities | Finances | Supporters Competitions: Cup: We did better this year getting to the 3rd Round! Spoiler League: PROMOTION!! 2nd of 16 I guess I lied when I said we would chill in this division. It's all because of my new intake striker who was basically unstoppable and worked great with my two wingers. We had the same bad run of form in the late fall, but then recovered after new year and really just notched point after point. To be fair, its not like there was a runaway winner of the group considering the champion had 10 losses. With 4 guaranteed promotion spots there is a lot of shuffling happening in Luxembourg and this year we are on the up. Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview: Focusing on the center of the pitch, which is fine by me Spoiler Youth Intake Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler Personalities aren’t great, but I think I got my two new CMs! Both are very big (I think that’s the focus of the HOYD coming into play) with some okay attributes. Will be big upgrades from my very mediocre CMs. Other high current ability prospect is another striker who loots to be a much improved version of my year 2 poacher, who can actually jump and finish! One with low CA stars but absolutely what the doctor ordered is a new CB. His upper mentals are bad but has a few decent traits so we will see how he does. If we didn't just get a great RB last season he would do a job out there even being so slow. Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights Spoiler The star of the show is our new AF Silvio Soares 05b who crushed it scoring 27 goals in 23 Apps (he got injured for a month so missed some games). Great personality and delivers even with these attributes. Hope he can continue next season / not get stolen. Still Artur Telles 02e is one of our best players at LM and he was our assist king serving up our strikers throughout the season. Next is our new RB and Portuguese U19 player Nuelio Canha 05a. My FBs don't get good ratings as they are on defend to keep us safe, but he's trash going forward anyways. Then last but not least is my GK Alexandre Sousa. He didn't improve much this year, but he still played perfectly well for us at the back though he will get competition soon from last year's GK. Club Infrastructure Nope we still broke Coaching Badges Nothing but here's the coach Spoiler Thoughts With another of my youth prospects getting a callup for Portugual's U19 and us getting promoted it is time to switch up the leagues. When I start these lower-league saves I always enable just the league I'm managing but have players added throughout Europe to populate a healthy amount of players (60,000 for this game). Due to how this challenge is shaping up to be a dual Luxembourg & Portugal save, I think it's only right to replace the dropped lower-leagues with the top 2 Portugal divisions this summer. Popular Post The Gold Guard
Year 0 | Homefront III Prelude: Dark times have loomed Serbian football club OFK Beograd for a few years now. It has not been a silent fall. Financial shortcomings, scrapping in the third tier for nearly half a decade and barely surviving thanks to transfer royalties... Something must change. A bold, ambitious project has begun for 'The Romantics' that has seen an unconventional approach. Chairman Dejan Vuksanović stated in the latest press conference since sealing promotion to the second-tier: "We are only surviving because of our past success in developing and selling players, it is now time to put all of our focus on what we are strong at." It seems that OFK Beograd is officially closing up - going purely internal. There are only a few clubs that have transfer policies that restrict them to only certain factors. However, it is extremely rare to see a football club restrict themselves to ONLY what they create. "It is time for us to return the favour to the players - past, present and future. We are here because of them. Their families become fans, and the fans hopefully one day become part of this club in varied roles." Vuksanović further romanticized. The Manager: Despite this, beautiful sentiments do not come without controversy when it comes to Serbian football - and boy, oh boy, have they done that in style yet again. OFK Beograd has announced a partnership with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Football Association (KPRFA) . This deal will provide a platform for North Korean managers to develop their skills and gain experience in a professional environment, potentially on the European stage. An agreement has been made to give North Korean manager Jo Se-uk an opportunity to take the mantle of the club. Director of Football Saša Nastasović states: "This is an amazing opportunity. I am really overjoyed by this partnership with the North Korean Gover- uhh I mean footballing body. We have a very experienced manager in 'Jo' who has accomplished such amazing feats in his home nation. We are extremely looking forward to seeing how he can bring his aura to the club and create a fantastic footballing culture." When asked about if this will be extended if North Korean players may come through the academy, Nastasović declared that "For now, this is purely just for an opportunity to develop the coaching sector, we are proud of our Serbian talents first & foremost, but of course, we shall see what comes with future success" Se-uk stated no further comments and refused to participate in the press conference. With no recognised coaching badges and no information regarding his playing or managerial career, critics are quick to raise questions of this shoddy deal. Maybe his managerial skills shall do the talking? Despite being hard to contact, communication has been rather transparent regarding this new development. It is noted that OFK Beograd will be promoting on the front of their kits the slogan "Visit North Korea". Improvement in the Clausura as in we finished 7th on the table at 29 points. We finally made it past the Preliminary Round and onto the Semi Finals. We drew on the final leg but the higher seed goes through. I just want to angrily yell at Josh Sargent for being a menace against my team. Due to how we finished, we will be participating in Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League and Leagues Cup AGAIN! Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League I'm a goddamn overachiever who can't beat other Liga BBVA MX teams. Seriously, Monterrey! Youth Intake Thanks to @Braumiller@SuperRedditch I'm now using a LNC file. I also messed up on this screenshot and missed a double quote. Bryan is Bryan Morales 26D. Aside from him, these are my automatic promotions to my first team as starters or bench, to be decided depending on how my transfer window this upcoming summer is like. Miscellaneous We finally got the ground for a new stadium. Tampico Madero Stadium is coming 7/6/2028.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary So with a prediction of finishing 20th and a board expectation of us battling bravely against relegation our main aim was clear. Just to survive! and we managed it, mainly due to our good form against the teams around us. Being that the board/players expected us to go down it also meant morale management was much easier than I thought it might be and that definitely helped. Only 3 draws out of 38 as well! So into a second season in Serie B! Players Marco Corrente 24A - our star striker! He absolutely refused to sign a new contract without a release fee in it. At 700k it was a little low but I was hopeful we could renegotiate at the end of the season. He was so good we never made it! 17 goals in 26 games later and it was triggered at the end of the January transfer window by Hellas Verona. So not only did we lose our best player we didn't even get a sell on clause! Guiseppe de Luca - Our star player in Serie C. scored a ludicrous amount of goals in our 3 seasons there. In Serie B he got found out though and, at 35, it was clear his legs had gone. He knew it too and promptly retired at the end of the season (along with 3 other legacy players over 30). We'll be heading into the new season with our most inexperienced side yet! Giovanni Romeo - Was a legacy youth player. Stuck him in out of desperation and he turned into a great player for us. Then, during the last season, he came out as gay. We gave him all the support we could and how did he rpay us? by demanding a transfer and refusing to sign a new contract! so I had no choice but to move him on. 650k and 50% future fee to Torino at the end of the season Antonio Romagnoli 24F - Thrown into the first team really young as there were no keepers above one star CA in the legacy squad. He did good and his CA and PA kept rising year on year. he is now a 4 star keeper with possible 5 star potential (future Serie A talent) after coming through as a 2 star PA 'good talent'. It's always worth hanging on to those 2 star talents, you never know how good they can become! Fairly sure it was that personality that was the key. a 2 star professional personality is worth way more than a 4 star temperamental in my experience. Next season will be interesting. we lost our two best players and 3 with invaluable experience! We're gonna find out just how good our youth set up is... Youth Well, this was weird. The preview was a 5 star golden generation promise, but with only one A grade player! So I wasn't expecting too much. And when the intake came in that 5 star preview had been downgraded to a 4.5 star excellent preview. And yet.... 5 elite talents! Lovely stuff! shame their personalities are all at the James Corden end of the axis rather than the Keanu Reeves end, but what can you do? Mentoring? not any more, my older professionals all retired! Pick of the bunch is this lad:- All Time Youth Intake Records Finances and Upgrades I used the money from the Romeo sale to upgrade the youth facilities at the end of the season. The option popped up after 'develop players through youth system' popped up on our club vision. No telling how long it will be there so I moved quickly! Other than that we're still just about breaking even so another couple of sales may have to happen soon Career

Nottingham Forest
We could be on for our first major transfer. As much as I don't want it to happen, it's going to. The player. Brian Barry YP5a was the superstar from the intake a few seasons ago. Currently has 24 goals and 12 assists in 67 league games. I wanted £2.5m, 50% of next sale and an end of season move. The board won't let me keep him and I offered to resign. I've kept my job. They have agreed to get more so we're upto £1.5m all in. However, there is a plot twist. Sunderland are also keen, they have agreed to my terms which would be massive.
Nottingham Forest
Now I need some help. I’ve requested the Sunderland deal at the end of the season. Which is within the rules. However, they’re now trying to loan him back. Which isn’t. Do I need to take the loan to keep him even though I’ve requested the deal until the end of the season? Nottingham Forest
Gone to Boro :(. The board flinched first when I knew what I was doing. If they’d have let me do what I was doing we’d have got more. Has already played for England 18s and 19s. Valued at £1.5m to £3m already. Hasn’t improved our finances alot either. Popular Post HenTheChicken
Yet another undeserved win, some things never change. League Performance Spoiler 1st Half Leading, not exactly surprising at this point but it was a nice fight. Not exactly as good, too many draws to really feel competitive at the top but we still won enough for a 2nd win on goal difference and 85 points, this time 14 goals though so I can't complain Europe Spoiler HOW DID WE MANAGE TO GET INTO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PLAYOFF KNOCKOUTS THIS WAS INCREDIBLE We had a run and a half, I mean, we beat benfica which I think is quite good, many positives this season 13-2 loss on aggregate to newcastle hurts but we'll come back stronger next year! The Squad Spoiler Same old, same old, just improvements coming slowly. Nolan was our starter from this years intake and hes already made quite an impact Looks quite good in my opinion, love him. Proper champions league knockouts next season I hope.

Most of the time all i do is to just fix the base intensity. And one thing i missed from your post is praising and criticizing players whenever the weekly training report arrives, from my past experience that drives their trainning performance up and helps a lot into their development. Below is a screenshot of the training program that I use for the U19. As you can see it focuses a lot on development and it works for defenders and attackers! I actively praise and critize players for traning performances. Make sure that you go to staff settings and have your U19 and Reserve team coach send you weekly reports on how the players are performing in training. I usually praise players when they perform better than 9,0 and critize them when they perform below 6,0. Just make sure that you dont praise a player more than two weeks in a row. They often tend to get angry if you praise them three weeks in a row, as strange as that sounds. Edited November 13, 2022 by thomas_e

Popular Post Neo_Geo
Season Review Spoiler This season started off with record goalscorer and talisman, Rilind Nivokazi, refusing to sign a new deal with 12 months to run. At this stage his upper market value was £3m so I offered to clubs for £2.5m and subsequently sold him to Serie B side Brianza. This seemed a good deal at the time however it caused issues with my keeper who was concerned about the lack of depth upfront so HE decided no to renew his contract (although he is over 30 and not worth nearly as much as Nivokazi was so I opted to keep him). This however left me with 2 recognised strikers in Manicone and Mandli (Elite2), the latter still only being 15! So I had 2 options at this point: train the most suitable player in midfield to play up top or go to 1 striker formation. I decided to retrain Nuzzi (Elite1) and have him as an Advanced Forward moving into channels and running wider with the ball. Early season this appeared to work and he was scoring (as well as assisting) for Mandli (as Manicone spent much of the season injured). However as the season progressed I wasn't too happy with my options on the left and I could see the potential in Allessandro Beretta (Elite2) in central mid so I changed the formation to a 4-3-3 DM Wide (changing to 4-2-3-1 Wide when I needed to be a bit more attacking). Nuzzi (Elite1) settled back in to the left wing role and continued to assist reasonably well until season end and now Beretta is showing remarkable signs of progress in a fairly short space of time (hoping this is a sign of a high potential). European football in my 3rd season seemed like a pipedream and that theme continued as I managed to make it to the last point before the Europa Conference Group stage. After drawing 1-1 with Sparta Rotterdam away from home I thought we might just sneak it and despite controlling the return leg Mandli hit the post twice and the winning goal was a soft breakaway and I could not get an equaliser. The run still provided funds to be combined with Nivokazi's sale to improve both the training and youth facilities (even though I ended up in the red by season end before the prize money took me back into the black). The league was a weird one, it felt like I was doing worse without Nivokazi however we beat our points record and scraped 2nd place on the last day of the season before the Playoffs, so I got my first taste of how that worked. I had to play Young Boys 3 times (away twice I reckon because they were 1st in the championship group) and I lost 3 times (the first game was 4-3 however going for it at home I lost 2-0 then I blooded some youths and lost 2-0 in the last match). It really is quite a unique league, I'm not sure how in favour I will be of the playoffs since it makes it quite hard to nick the title given you have to come out on top against the best team over 3 additional games. Anyway I'm surprised I made it here in season 3 so I won't get ahead of myself right now. As far as the support profile is concerned it looks like we are actually losing some of the core of the supporters, no idea why this would be. This season saw my first entrants into the NxGn top 50 with Nuzzi (Elite1) coming in 4th and Capone (Elite1) coming in 35th. Nuzzi had a great season and also made the Swiss World Cup Preliminary squad (not the World Cup Squad as one of my infographics states) so I guess it validated what I thought about him and Capone has been solid this year as well: As for the rest of the team that aren't covered above or in the infographics there are a few standouts: Mandli is improving steadily and bagged 20 goals in 33 starts in all competitions this season which given he was 15 for the first half is pretty special. Beretta made his way into the team in the second half of the season following an injury to Buffon and since Buffon returned I reworked the formation to have Beretta, Roos and Buffon in central mid allowing Nuzzi to return to left wing. Baldo has now stepped in as first choice keeper following Mitrovic being unhappy at the lack of depth upfront (I was actually able to appease him and the rest of the squad stating about youth players coming through, thought I'd have a full scale revolt on my hands). He's showing good signs of improvement and averaged over 7 in the league with 9 clean sheets in 25 appearances. Next Season If I could have a shopping list for players next year it would be a new Right Winger (ready for first team football) and possibly an actual DM but thats the great part of this game, its down to chance if the intake gives me anything along these lines or not. I will be hearing the champions league music for the first time in the save entering the 3rd Qualifying Round unfortunately meaning a loss doesn't guarantee Europa League Group stage football. I still can't believe I'm actually taking part in Season 4.....you've got to love the 2 tier leagues for this challenge! The key thing will be trying to keep the players I have happy as I'm sure it won't be long before the bigger club or better squad complaints come through.
Popular Post benrollo
Safe to say it's been a productive weekend! It's also been one hell of a season, as we won the league on the last day. Until the 92nd minute of the season we were finishing second, but Slutsk came up with an injury time equaliser away to Lida that secured them a point, and us the title. Our title push was aided again by a strong attack, with Nikolay Kolyada (7.21 average rating) bagging 18 goals and our best rating. Semen Belyakov (7.15 average) scored 22 goals, but devastatingly I was not able to renew his contract after the board slashed our wage budget to less than our wage bill. By the time we'd secured promotion and a 300% wage budget increase, he had already decided to leave on a bosman. A real stain on our season that. The bigger story was at the other end of the pitch though. We ended up finishing with the best defence in the league - and a lot of that improvement has to be attributed to academy graduate Artem Udodov 23-2 (7.13 average) who had a really good debut season - even bagging himself a place in the First League Team of the Season. The 2024 graduate class again promised a strong bunch of players. However when they came through, I wasn't overly impressed. We had three 2-star CA players which will no doubt come in handy, but I think those assessments are more based on how weak our squad is (get me moaning about the squad after winning the league!) as opposed to how good these graduates are. With Belarus having the worst youth rating, and with our recruitment network being one city, I can't really complain too much. Page 1 -- Page 2 -- Page 3 Pavel Osipov 24-1 Igor Stankevich 24-2 Artem Yurchenko 24-3 What's interesting (to me, as a data analyst at least ) is that the average attribute total for a player in this class is around 12 points higher than last season, although our best player this year is not on the same level as last year (294 total points compared to 312). Good to see the average standard of the class increase at least. Off the field, not much happening. Whilst we had zero luck with any upgrades or affiliate clubs, I have managed to get my National B license and am currently working on the National A. FInancially we are in a bit of a hole, about £75k in debt even after the end of season income. Not sure how much money there is in the Highest League, but hopefully there's millions kicking about. Here's how my overview looks. Next season, we do our best to survive. The squad really isn't much to look at, but I guess my formation combined with some key attributes seem to have done the trick to this point. I doubt we can stay up, but it won't be long before we find out! Edited November 13, 2022 by benrollo
Popular Post thomas_e
Energie Cottbus Season Summary 2025 - 2026 A shocking Bundesliga promotion Our second season in the Bundesliga and I was hoping to replicate our really good 9th place finish from last year. The opening fixtures couldn't have been worse when drew Union Berlin, Ingolstadt and Fortuna Dusseldorf, all away games. I don't know how, but we won all three games and found ourselves top of the table. We kept playing really good football and we were in the top 2 spot for several months. Around mid-february reality hit and we started to struggle quite a bit. A 6 week injury for our starting goalkeeper didn't help. Luckily for us the other top teams also lost games that they should have won and even though we struggled we were always in the top 3. We drew 4th placed Magdeburg 2-2 in the last game which gave us a playoff spot. SpVgg Greuther Furth had finished 16th place in the Bundesliga and we faced them in a two-game playoff. A really strong performance when we played 2-2 away in the first game. For the second leg our starting striker got suspended and our back-up players are so bad I actually played with a midfielder up top. Greuther Furth took the lead in the first half, but an equaliser from a corner kick in the second half gave us the goal we needed. We went through on away goals. You always want to win every game, but I had mixed feelings on this one. The media predicted us to relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga this year, 9 months later we find ourselves promoted to the Bundesliga. Our best player, Tobias Eisenhuth wants to leave on a free transfer and a couple of our star talents have really low release clauses in their contracts. We also have many contracts, staff and players, that have big salary increases after this promotion and the board has basically given me the same wage budget for next season, which is shocking. I will for sure be in the relegation battle next season and we will probably go down. I just hope I dont lose my job on the way there... We had a really good intake whish was nice! If I can make the playoff spot (16th out of 18 teams) I will be extremely happy. The good thing is that Darmstadt and 1860 Munchen got promoted alongside me instead of Schalke and Union Berlin, I think they will struggle as well, so it's basically a battle between us and them. The supporters have moderate say on my position. They are keeping in mind the results from last year and strongly want me to be competitive against Hertha Berlin so those will be big games for us!!
