Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary What a season! Champions!!!! I guess the signs were there from the very beginning - our first match was home against pre-season favourites Spezia, and we won 4-0! But it wasn't until Dec-Feb that we really stamped our authority on the league and pulled away. Even a mini injury crisis in the last couple of months didn't stop us. Serie A here we come! Players We got a nicely balanced squad now. first choice striker Ejupi 26H was suspended for the first game and his replacement Capiluppi 29D scored a hat trick. After Ejupi scored o goals in 4 games with a 6.30 rating following, Capiluppi became first choice striker. Ejupi got his chance at redemption in March when Capiluppi knackered himself for the remainder of the season. But I got a new first choice striker now! Youth It wasn't a perfect season. An awful preview followed by an awful intake. 2 stars! no elite talents! I still signed about 7 though, they had amazing personalities. 5 professional, a resilient and another one i forget that didn't suck. Finances and Upgrades We got a takeover! they cleared the debt, didn't provide any money for investment and then changed the club vision to sign players U23 for the first team. Dammit. Career Can we stay up in Serie A next season? Unlikely, to be fair. The real question is will I get sacked after our inevitable relegation?

Popular Post russ the womble
Elverum Season 2 (2024) Some steady improvement in the league with a 5th placed finish A couple of youth starting to do fairly well: Fredrik Ibsen He's improved a little this season, and has interest from quite a few top division clubs. I'm not 100% sure on the best strategy - I don't have a 2/3 star to replace him so he'd be missed from the first team and could probably only get about £16k + sell on. I assume not worth selling just yet at least until I have someone else coming through? Edit - taken out of my hands! Kristian Aadland I had to promote to give myself a few options and has done okay, will try and get him onto a long term contract. Not going to post loads as I have a habit of getting sacked Magnus Solum is 31 years old so won't be top scorer for too many seasons. Need to get Aadland to step up a level. OlivierL
Just tested the 23.2 database in Belgium. Nothing changed, most of the team deep in red after a few months/season(s). Most of the players from youth intakes ask full time (high) contracts etc, high setup costs , high staff wages, high ground maintenance

Popular Post Barnsley
FC United - Season 12 - (Still blasting away in Conference North) Well this was gutting, we were superb all season, level with top with 2 games to go, we ended up losing them both of which if we had won them both we would have finally been crowned champions on goal difference. It wasn't too be, and we ended up facing York in the playoffs who destroyed us 4-2. Gutted is not the word, 3rd time in 4 seasons we have been beaten in the playoffs. So unlucky now - just can't get out of this league. Our best player from the youth intake, and probably my best one to date. Think we will struggle to keep this lad for any kind of period. Popular Post russ the womble
Elverum Season 3 (2025) Similar performance to last season with a solid 6th place. I was in a shout with promotion until a bas run in the last 3/4 games. Quite happy with the season as I lost my best young player and had a bad start. A bit more promise on the youth front: Kristian Aadland Spoiler Decent number of goals and assists in his first season, plus good average rating. Has taken up the mantle of exciting young prospect in attack. Erling Rangoy Holte Spoiler Put him on the left on occasion due to injuries etc and has been fairly decent, only 3 goals but progresses well Nino Korsnes Spoiler Not particularly brilliant but my main GK is only 2.5 stars so will give him an opportunity next season and see if a bit of exposure sees him progress Formation I tend to use a 4-2-3-1, although also use a 4-1-2-2-1 CA and a 4-2-2-2 Gegenpress, depending on what's needed and the opposition. The 4-2-2-2 has had mixed results so may change it. I have decent chemistry down the right, which is useful, and between the SS and the forward. CM sucks a little (2 + 3 star rated). Annoyingly, Kolsvik wants to run his contract down and is a star player, so that could be a big blow for next season. Ibsen (sold to Rosenborg) currently offers me £120k buyout for his sell on clause. However I am £300k in debt so seems a bit of a waste!

Popular Post Winski
Jyväskylän Jalkapalloklubi (JJK)Season 2 | 2024 Veikkausliiga | 5th Well, that was a great season for us! Our first season on the highest level in Finland, and it was a succesful one. We finished 5th, and qualified for the Champions Group. The league split after 22 games. The first six will play in the Champions Group, while the other six play in the Relegation Group. We did well! Won surprisingly against champion HJK and against TPS. We lost our last game against our rivals KuPS, and I thought that our season was over at that point. Finished 5th, great for a first season, time for holiday. But I then got the message that we qualified for the European Places Playoff Qtr Final! I didn't know about that. We won against FC Lahti, in the Semi Final we won against TPS. So we had to play the Final against our rivals KuPS. We first won our home match with 1-0. In the away match we were under al ot of pressure, but it stayed 0-0. So that means that we qualified for Europe!!! We are going into the Europa Conference League!!! I'm very happy about that. In the Cup we won our Group, but in the Second Round we lost against SJK. I integreted a lot of youngsters from 2023 intake in our team. Some of them developed really, really well. Five of them are first team players already. The player who really stand-out is Kalle Haglund 23a. Let's take a look at his development. He is developing nicely, and is already our best player. Internazionale is interested in signing him, but I hope that I can keep him around at the club. Spoiler Also three other players are developing really well: Spoiler Because of this good season, our board was willing to upgrade our Junior Coaching Budget and Youth Recruitment again. They are now maxed out! Youth intake The preview was, again, unbelievable: The intake itself was, also again, a great one! Some really nice players. Some of them will get a chance in the first team next season. Spoiler Our finances are terrible at the moment. Hopefully our European campaign next season will bring us some money.

Another incredible invincible season. That's 2 in a row now! The biggest achievement was managing to get out of our CL group this season. We were a bit shaky in CL qualification but managed to get to the group stage, and after losing our first couple of group games it seemed like more of the same (we failed to score a single point in the last 2 seasons). However, this season we managed to pick up not one, but three victories and finished second in our group. We drew Bayern in the first knockout round and lost 10-3 on aggregate. Popular Post Sn00gle
Kotwica Kołobrzeg - 2027/28 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers From start that was clear that this season will be hard. A lot of old player's leaved this season and my backups were straight from u19 which means my young guns will face straing top players from ekstraklasa. So I was prepared for strugling however we manager to get 10th place and get to 1/8 of Polish Cup where we lost to Pogoń Szczecin. My finances in this season are pretty low because of new stadium bulding and we managed to get improvment in training fields. Both were our key archviments so wont regret them. We also get another fedeer club Odra Wodzisław. Nothing special for next season I would like to get new players into the team and hold the key one's. I've managed to offer new contract to Żubrowski as he is going to be Polish star. I know its just 1.3ml but better then 600k before. Decent intake with some potential Rudol is best player and at the end of season got some time in league as we will need him straight into first team as next of my old players will leave the club. Niciński is decent as well. I have to start looking for better personality staff members but there is no much to choose from as they are otherwise bad in stats. russ the womble
Season 4 (2026) Finished 8th, which is a couple of places below last year. But fairly pleased - introduced 3 15/16 year olds into the team, including the GK, and was expecting to struggle. Kolsvik also signed a new contract which probably gave a biog boost and he ended up top joint scorer and joint top on assists. Youth Graduates: Preben Mahamed Spoiler 15 year old GK was promoted to first choice, improved a little, but really hoping for a 2/3 season development time until he is closer to first team quality Samuel Luhovy Spoiler 15 year old CB, introduced for some games and made some progress on stats. Trym Rosendal Nyhagen Spoiler 16 year old CM, had several starts and gradual improvement, probably one of the most promising. Erling Rangoy Holte Spoiler Joint top for assists and developed well in first season. Kristian Aadland Spoiler Already an important player at 18, need him to kick on his development to really do well at this level though, only 2 goals in 20 odd games Top Scorer Magnus Solum is now 34 so will likely be 2nd choice next season. andydick
Not done a youth challenge before so here goes .... I can't imagine I'll be manager for too long given the initial squad of 15 was soon whittled down to 12 after 3 players departed. A quick peek into my U21 squad reveals just the one player, a somewhat poor quality 16 year old. Nothing in my U18s. So I'll be running this with 12 adults, 1 youngling and the rest of my bench made up of greys.
Daddy
2030/31 Midseason Review: We're not getting crushed, but we're not doing very well. If we can't finish at 10th (11 & 12 do not receive prize money - I can't deal with another no prize money + relegation season lol) when the split comes after 22 matches then I'm pausing this for something else. Blew a 2-0 lead over the last place team the final match before the winter break so I'm not super confident of getting there even though there's not a lot of points to make up. Intake Preview: Stronger looking than the last one. For a team not good enough to win there's not a huge depth hole, so really I just want one of the A rated players to come in as a superstar. Something to push the team forward now.

Neo_Geo
Ok that's it confirmed. If you want to keep your best players in European leagues DON'T add the top league from the big 5, I've pretty much destroyed my save in one transfer windows as I've lost 4 first team players (3 for minimum fees and one who was leaving in 2 years anyway so he wasn't happy). I now have £114m in the bank but my first team is decimated.
Deicide
FWIW, I just went through all the u21 squads that are in the U23 PDL and there are a couple of clubs that have been in L1 & in the U23 league for a while and have a youth level of 2. That gives me hope that we might get lucky in the next couple of seasons and get invited as well. On 30/11/2022 at 02:08, XaW said: The youth leagues are based on a youth level, but also a "first come, first serve". So what you can do is get the youth level up to 1, and then just wait. You have to wait until another team either withdraws their youth team (as you can do when you are asked if you want to join the league every season), or have their youth level reduced. Then you will be asked to join if you are the best candidate. In FM20, I think my team joined after 4 or 5 seasons at youth level 1, but this is from the top of my head, so don't quote me on it. Still, those are the requirements, max youth level, then chance. Edit: Also, in FM23 this should be easier, based on this: Source: https://fmfc.footballmanager.com/blog/more-new-features-elevate-your-fm23-experience On 30/11/2022 at 03:42, fries said: Yes I agree. It was just to tell @Deicide and others that they could risk to wait many years before joining a league. I expect it to be easier in FM23 too. Popular Post michiganhugefan
Associação Ferroviária de Esportes (2023 Season Update) Brazilian 3rd Division Final Table Brazilian 3rd Division Group Stage Brazilian Division 3 Final São Paulo State Table São Paulo Group Stage São Paulo Knockouts Transfers Squad Main Tactic So, uh went up as 3rd Division champions and it wasn't particularly close? I know I said my team was somewhat stacked in my intro post, but I wasn't expecting Champions of the 3rd Division stacked. Now promotion wasn't really ever in doubt, but after going down in the First Leg of the Final, the team fought back away from home and secured the title in the second leg. We also performed very well in the SP State season, although the odd structure of the State championship meant we nearly missed the knockout stage despite being 5th in the overall league table. Nervous for a season in the 2nd Division as I'm not sure how well my team will stack up given the increased fixture list, especially given that I only regularly used 16 players this year really, and the fact that the place in my squad with the least depth is defense, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Our Standout performers on the year were: Hygor Our top goalscorer this season, he played at the top of our 4-2-3-1 Vertical Tiki Taka. Was absolutely smashing in the goals before injuries forced him to move to Right Attacking Mid at the end of the season. He won the 3rd Division Top Goalscorer and 3rd Division Player of the year awards, as well as making the 3rd Division Team of the Year. One of our players currently considered Division 2 standard, hopefully he can contribute as much in our second season. Thiago Reis Another one of our players who made the Team of the Year, although I was slightly surprised by his inclusion. He seemed solid but unspectacular this season, but maybe I underrated his performance because he was not exactly lighting up the goal sheet. Júlio Vítor Our top Assister on the season, Julio played mostly on the Left Attacking side but also sometimes filled in the Central and Right Attacking spaces. Good at cutting in and overloading the defense as one of our younger first team players at 22, hopefully has lots of room to grow and be an important part of the team moving into the future. Rafael Costa Our best performing Central Midfielder on the season, suffered Damaged Cruciate Ligaments in the 3rd Division Final and is out for about 10 months, at age 32 it's possible he doesn't ever feature in the team again unfortunately, although he is here another two years. Luckily for us Central Midfield is one place on the team where there is some quality depth so he can be replaced more easily than if someone in another position had gone down. Jeferson Our best defender, was struggling to start the season because I had to play him a Left Back and he wasn't comfortable with the role, but he was able to work his way into it and play much better once the third division season started and he became better on that side. Our third inclusion on the team of the year and possibly the best and most important player on the team. Caio Vinícius Our more defensive central midfielder, spotlighting him because he is the youngest player on the team who gets regular playing time, and with Costa's injury will be more of a regular starter, since I was working with Costa starting most games and Caio rotating with another midfielder, although Caio was starting more games by the end of the season as they were the better player and solidified their role in the team by then. Caio And finally our goalkeeper Caio, probably wouldn't have even put him in here, but he did end up making the 3rd Division Team of the Year as our 4th member (and I suspect we could have had more but the TOTY didn't have any wide midfielders on it. Solid goalkeeping for the year, not much else to say about him. Youth Intake I think the youth intake went fairly well, we signed ten of them and I decided to just tag all of the ones that we signed, along with finally making a decision to tag 3 players from the intake that happened the season before I joined the club. 2022 Tagged Players Genário (22a) Valnei (22b) Sérgio Luiz (22c) 2023 Tagged Players Marcus Vínicius (23a) Marcos Antōnio (23b) Eduardo Henrique (23c) Adeilson (23d) Carlos Henrique (23e) Douglas (23f) Jefferson Luís (23g) Guilherme Machado (23h) Marcus Vínicius (23i) Lucas (23j) Because I have a full squad I don't have expectations on any of these players to see the field in the 2024 season, other than Valnei (22b), I think he'll be part of the Center Back rotation, we have two set in stone center backs and Valnei definitely could challenge to be the 3rd or 4th choice center back, especially with our current 3rd and 4th choice center backs being on the decline at older ages.

However, even with an extra player we couldn't hold their offense with our mediocre defense or break through them and fell to a 3-1 defeat by conceding two late goals. Spoiler League A third season in a row where our offense has delivered enough to compensate for our very poor defense. With 98 goals, we had the most GF by 2 but the champions Swift had an impressive 17 goals conceded only losing 1 game at the very end of the season. I expect them to get even better next year as they have been snapping up lots of talented young foreign players this year who will be replacing many aging domestic players they've caried on the roster. Luxembourg has pretty simple registration rules of 9 Foreign players excluding France and Portugal, and with both of those leagues loaded they can bring in lots of players. Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Spoiler Youth Intake We are seeing much more 'normal' intakes now that we have a handful of star players at league level quality. We are almost to 100 Portuguese locations! Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler We got our first new nationality, Ukranian! And he’s actually a decent Pressing Forward even if he’s short. The next best talent I’d say is this either footed high flair playmaker/DLF who I wish had something in the midfield, but this is the downside of having a 4-2-3-1 HOYD and playing a 4-4-2. Again he’s small, and sadly slow so we will see. And how’s this year’s GK? Either footed high reflexes and punching. He doesn't have enough imo to get the start over my current young GK. The holdup for me is he’s inconsistent, and the other has both consistency & professionalism so is developing at least somewhat while putting in acceptable performances. We really need an A-C ranked GK intake. Its been 13 seasons and I’ve yet to develop a GK over 2* CA compared to the rest of the squad at the time. Brutal. Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights Spoiler I think it's worth showing how strong my strike partnership is. The two teams above us have single goalscoring threats, but then we have both of ours that are very close. And they are fueling each other as they are in a tie for 4th best assists in the league Club Infrastructure The board is crazy about clearing the debt right now. We have 900k in the bank account and they still say we 'failed' to fix the financial situation because we are carrying about 1.1M in debt even with a +662k profit this year. Bug perhaps? Anyways, because of this they have rejected almost every attempt at any upgrade but somehow they approve one youth facility upgrade. Hopefully another 1-2 years of European play will get us over the debt hurdle and I can begin improving the still terrible infrastructre. Spoiler Coaching Badges None Thoughts I signed my golden generation offense onto new contracts that are 3 + 3 year deals, so now the goal is to continue these 3rd & 4th place finishes to farm up money to slowly build up the clubs infrastructure. And hopefully my HOYD can find me a defensive golden generation, especially a GK. Edited December 2, 2022 by WhiteCat33
Popular Post fries
Championship 2031/32 (season 9) Season Summary We did it! We are in the Premier League! We played okay in the first half of the season. But after New Year we only lost two games, the 1st of January and a stupid 5-0 defeat against West Brom. A young striker stepped up and scored 19 goals in 13 games in January, February, and Marts. We also had two good Cup runs. In the Carabao Cup we lost to Stoke in the Quarter Final. In the FA Cup we won against Spurs, but lost to Chelsea in the next match. My players have continued to develop very well and we have never had so much depth as now. We have good players in most positions except at the fullbacks. My best players: Patrick Walters (the two Walters players are unfortunately not related) is my best player and performed well with 16 goals and 14 assists. He has been with me since Vanarama North Glover is another important player on the DM position: Zerrouki has developed into a very great goalkeeper. I think he is ready for the Premier League! N'Guessan is my best defender. I play him as a DC. I had 2 players on the NXGN list. Smith is a star player and number 6 on the NXGN list. He is currently wanted by 17 (!) Premier League Clubs and he currently have a release clause for higher divisions. I really hope I can keep him untill we officially are regarded a Premier League club. Toby Walters stepped up as a striker in 2032. He scored 19 goals in the 13 matches in the first 3 months of the year. Well done for a striker with relatively low finishing and composure. Before the season Toby Walters was number 2 in the Golden Boot award at the Euro U21. The youth intake preview looked very disappointing. Only 3 stars. But a top prospect in the CM. The intake was as expected. A great player for the CM. But I really hope mu top talents will step up this year. The transfer of significance this season was the sale of McDermott. McDermott was my young backup keeper. I did not think he was talented enough to break into the first team so I accepted a bid for him. Finances and Upgrades Before the season the board announced that they will increase the youth level. I hope it will be done after this season. We will also soon move into our new almost 15.000 seater stadium. Just in time for Premier League football! Next season Next season, I hope to keep my best players. And hopefully, it will be enough to avoid relegation.

Popular Post grff
Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2030/31 Season Review A promising season as we posted our best finish yet as we managed 6th position and a place in the Championship group We didn't enjoy that group one bit! Some encouraging numbers coming through in the season stats. Some players had their stats ruined by the losing streak at the back end of the campaign. Youth intake included a striker! He might be of use depending on his development. In other news, I've had a player come out and have a stadium move incoming. Popular Post thomas_e
FC Energie Cottbus Season Summary 2030 - 2031 A consecutive top 4 finish and a fantastic CL debut Our first season in the Champions League, meaning that it was the first season when my squad depth was truly put to the test! It was also yet another season that we integrated a couple more youngsters into the first team. Our youngsters keep on improving after being promoted from the U19's and it makes me quite optimistic about the future! I am a little bit worried about a lack of quality at centre back and we dont have anyone in the U19 that will become Bundesliga quality at the moment, so fingers crossed for the next youth intake! We played really good this year, but I had to make quite a few tweaks after the update. The match engine has drastically changed after the update, and even though it's not great at all, it's at least a bit more unpredictable. No more long balls from the GK over a confused defense. The season didn't really include a lot of ups and downs in the league, we played pretty well overall, but the general theme is that we are really good against the weaker teams, but struggle against the top sides. Nothing dramatic about this obviously, but we need to step up our game against the big guns if we want to fight for the Bundesliga title! In the Champions League we performed way better than my expectations. We beat Juventus, Sporting, Lyon, Apoel, Club Brugge and Chelsea, played 0-0 against Villareal and lost to Liverpool in the league phase. This put us in the top 8 and directly qualified to the last 16. Amazing! We met Barcelona in the first round and as expected that was the end of our journey. We lost 5-2 on aggregate, which was fine. We were never going to win and this was a great experience for our young team! I didn't expect us to finish top 4 this season considering that we were playing in the CL for the first time. A really great season overall and hopefully we can improve even more next year! The youth intake was pretty good. We got a good GK which can prove very important. Our star GK, Dittloff, has three years left on his contract and he ain't renewing it! Season Summary Key Players Youth Intake

russ the womble
Season 5 (2027) A slight improvement on last season with a 7th placed finish. Another bad/slow start left me lagging behind, hoping next season I can keep hold of my better players and push upwards. Had to turn down bids and extend contracts to keep my main players. Kristian Aadland Spoiler Scoring is slightly deceptive as he scored 4 in the first game of the season. Currently worth up to £60k and can probably go beyond that, so if I can get near to £100k and a sell on clause then may have to shift him on. Trym Rosendal Nyhagen Spoiler Had to turn down offers again. Probably a year or two before he dominates. Need to try and retain these players before the board sell them against my wishes. Sami-Daniel Overhaug Spoiler Didn't have a good first season with a 3 month injury lay off and onbly scored a couple Samuel Luhovy Spoiler English CB, pretty dominant in the air, gradually improving. The finances are a big issue as I can't improve training facilities until something miraculous happens! Lots of cash injections! Pretty steady mid-table progress lol

Popular Post janvanbulck
Season round up : lost the promotion final, in extra time , meaning next season we'll still be in the "Southern League Premier South". I'm proud of our season as it was predicted we would go down. The aim for next season is to build on this and push ... with hopefully the right outcome at the end of the season. These young guns might be involved in a game or two.
Daddy
Over two FM versions this is my third run in Switzerland and I just can't advance past a yoyo team. Finishing 11th there means $0 prize money. 10th would have been $2.36. We're in the red without that, which means as we're likely to go back down no more upgrades and will struggle to keep any players that could develop into players good enough to break through. I'm not killing the save, but I need a break from it. I will look for a country I've never played in and go there.

Popular Post Redknapp_13
Hapoel Ra'anana Season Review Season 31/32 (Back to back Champions) Table - Champions League -Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers - Finances Champions for the second time in a row, this time with even fewer point than last season and I think we are becoming the best team in Israel even tho that strongly depens on the next transfer window, as nearly all my starting eleven is wanted and nearly all of them have a release clause. So it is possible that it goes sideways very quickly. We lost Lidan Sa'ar but had his backup already at the club with Oren Cohen 30A. The two standouts from the 30 intake are gone this offseason, as they have release clauses not that high. Unfortunately all the players want them, so there is no chance. Oren Cohen 30A and Itzhak30B are these two players Besides them it was Nir Ayash 20D, who progressed himself into the starting lineup this season. And also Sa'ar Lugasi29B becoming our first team striker after he progressed slowly in the first two years. Nehoray Shukrani 29C will be the next man up in case Cohen leaves. And also Dayan 29A is looking good, but unfortunately I think someone will trigger the release clause Dayan and Cohen also made it on the NxtGn List at 5 and 24 Champions League Qualification was already a success. We qualified after two victories on penalties. In the League Phase we had no Chance only winning one against LASK. Intake 32 We can use everything as we keep loosing players Three Elite Talents which is good and despite the preview, the best of them seems to be central defender Salami-Vaddai, who will start playing games in the first team pretty soon. Unfortunately not a good personality. Lomovski with Driven seems the second best of the bunch Still no youth facility upgrades possible, which honestly sucks. We have so much money in the bank but cannot spend it.
thomas_e
2 hours ago, dylan.gangat said: Hey man I'm curious do you load any other leagues for your saves or just the nation you playing in? When I start I usually only load the nation that I'm playing in since it's so easy to load new leagues as you go along. When I get to the point that I can compete in the CL I usually load a few more leagues. Say if I'm playing in Germany I would load up Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga. This season I have done it a bit different and focused a bit more on the nations that I have affiliate clubs in. I'm not good enough to win the CL yet, far from it, and FM23 is so bad when it comes to loans I had to focus my league selection around that. Getting affiliate clubs have been a lot of work, with many re-negotiations of the deals so I can use the clubs for for loaning out players and getting youngsters through to our academy. I believe that loaning out players to visible/playable leagues is a lot more efficient and provides better player development. These are my affiliate clubs as of 2031. All the leagues are playable except for the Australian A-league and I have added the leagues as soon as I've gotten the agreement with the club. Unfortunately Heidenheim got relegated last year so I no longer have a 2nd Bundesliga affiliate club. When this happened I terminated an agreement with a very bad Polish club, hoping that the board will allow me to add another affiliate club as soon as possible. With all these clubs I have either gotten the cooperation based on a loan-agreement or an academy recruitment deal. I then re-negotiate the deal after a few months, adding a loan agreement or an academy agreement to our existing deal. These agreements have obvious advantages, especially as it helps with the core of this challenge, better players through the academy, but it also helps a great deal with loan deals, a part of the game that I honestly feel is broken. You can sometimes have a fantastic 19 year old in your team, he wants a loan deal and no club at all wants to loan him. This helps with that and in my save I am now on July 8th and I have all my loan deals settled. A couple of players went to random 2nd Bundesliga clubs, some went to 3.liga and my best 19 year olds went to OH Leuven in the top Belgium division. When choosing affiliate clubs it's important to look at training facilities as well as youth recruitment and junior coaches! Popular Post CardiffDragon
HO HO HOwever you look at this season it was a very mixed bag, we were in Europe for the first time but had lost some of our older better players so it would be an interesting ride. The media still didnt rate our chances though even thought we had qualified for europe. We got off to a good start, finally getting out of the group stages of the cup. We tinkered with the tactics a little, some of the best players coming through were attacking inside forwards so i dropped the lone striker back slightly from an advanced forward role to a deep forard with an attacking role to hopefully create more space for the other forard coming in. This seeed to work as although our top scorer for the last three years did not do as well ( he was out injured for a couple of months as well) the goals were spread around a lot more. Unlike last year when we got off to a flying start, without a couple of our more established players we struggled in the league and seemed rooted in 10th positionjust clear of the relegation playoff. Then europe came into the mix..... The european adventure Spoiler I had no idea where i would be compared to the other leagues at this stage so went into the first round, ho ho hoping rather than believing Spoiler i was not expecting that at all, so maybe we are better than i thought onards to round two... Spoiler Are you kidding me!!! we played a Turkish side off the park in out home game (ok not so much away) maybe this is the year we walk to winning the cup! Spoiler Ok this was a nail biter but still we are moving forward and still unbeaten in europe at home, only one round to go until the group stages!! Spoiler Hmmmph! we at least we are still unbeaten at home, though the score flatters us, they dominated totally, now back to the league OK now europe was over and done with we had a big problem in the league, ie. because we had been concentrating on europe we had basically been sending our B team out to play the league matches and it showed we did not win a game while playing in europe and were now going to be stuck in the bottom half of the league when they split. But now we had our tactical knowledge up and running, wow did we move forward, until on the last day we were in eighth with equal points but with a far worse goal difference....and we drew.... but they lost and we were in the playoffs.... Spoiler Am i glad we practiced penalties but best game of the year by a long way...we walked the semi- final and then in the final... Spoiler so we made it into europe again, by the skin of our teeth and the long way round. The prize money from europe helped us improve junior coaching and youth recruitment so that is a plus Youth Intake We had a new HOYD last year but it was only this year that his perfectionist personality seems to be making a huge difference, only a few unambitious personalities rather than the 90% we have had previously and i think this was our best intake ever..... yes there is even one three star but remember our star range has changed since we lost a couple of our top players Now i am very excited about this one, have needed a second forward desperately this year and he fitted straight into the side, even scoring in the playoffs. We are losing our previous best academy player at the end of the season becasue he wants to move to a bigger club ( even though none want him) so he will be fitting right in And a new goalie for us much needed as our reserve goalie is shocking And finally....... i thought our fans were brave (stupid) before, but to watch a friendly in those temperatures....... what really want to know is how do they kept the pitch from freezing ( i checked it is grass with no underfloor heating!!) Spoiler Another good run in europe and HO HO HOpefully we can start to get affilates and facilities further improved

Brentmeister
Quick question I hope someone can help me with: My team doesn't have a controllable u18 squad that I can staff, and train only a B team, but it has players in a u18 squad that I can promote to the senior team? What's going on!? So this guy is in my u18's, I can promote him, offer him a new contract, but I can't access the u18 squad and appoint staff? If you look on the squad filter on the right, only senior and B teams are available?
