Riebow
Arras FA Season Review (33/34): Les Boyaux Rouges League: A decade in management and we've reached the promised land! We will be plying our trade in the League 1 next season, taking on the likes of PSG, Marseille, Monaco, Lillie, etc... We were dominant this season, winning the title with four games to spare. Do I feel confident competing on the highest level? Not at the slightest. I feel FM overrates morale and tactical familiarity, because on quality we should be one of the poorer teams of League 2. Instead we're going up another level, and try not to relegate immediately. Cup: We've only made it to the 8th round, losing against Stade Lavallois on penalties. Intake: We're still rebuilding our youth facilities after dissolving our affiliation with Lens, so the last couple of intakes have been less than ideal. We have a decent first team squad, but not much in the pipeline. Our youth facilities will be upgraded in the summer and we have upgraded our Youth Recruitment to Exceptional. Now that we're in the highest tier, I'm hoping on getting some wonderkids coming in, Yoan Camps: Terrible personality, so don't have high hope for this one. Spoiler Alberto Crescenciano: Best talent of the intake and on a position I need some more talent. I have high hopes for this one. Spoiler Kamal Kebbal: Our mandatory 5-star potential GK. I have 4 5-star PA GK's at the club at the moment. Spoiler Next Season: When I started this save, I was hoping that Mpabbé would have been retired by the time I made it to the League 1. He's 35 and still going strong, although he does seem to have slowed down a bit. No idea if we can compete on this level. If we go down, I hope at least to have made some nice money. Spoiler A blast to the past Let's have a look at the past winners: As expected the League 1 has been dominated by PSG, but Monaco did manage to sneak in 2 titles Spoiler Champions League: PSG managed to win the CL three straight years between 25 and 27. The last couple of years have been dominated by Man City. Spoiler

dkouv
Operário dos Açores – Season 6 (2028/29) Campeonato de Portugal Group D Oh man, so close… We missed out on the playoffs by virtue of results between teams, after getting more points than in the year where we actually won the playoffs and got promoted. Lots of close results too, we were miles inside the playoffs but I took my eye off the ball a bit, and suddenly we were out on this “goal difference" thing. Surely next year is the year! Players: Juvenal Catojo 03a is still the best, but the reason we did so well is that we finally have a good goalie in Rui Mota 04g. So much of this challenge is about getting a good goalie and striker, then keeping them at all costs. Unfortunately Rui Mota won’t sign a new contract, but we’ll have him for a couple more years at least (he has an extension option). Youth intake: No depth, but we need centre backs and Yuri Puga 06a looks like a decent prospect. Facilities/finances: Continuously insecure, with occasional cash injections from the board keeping things on the edges of respectability. Transfers Kept hold of all my good players, not sure how much longer I’ll manage to keep them going forward. Popular Post libbyshuss
Sweden - 2027 (season 5) Division 1 North (tier 3) Season Summary A nice, dull season with us spending pretty much the entire season in mid-table. It was a nice way to introduce a few of the youth players anyway. We're not far off a promotion push i don't think, we just struggled for consistency really. Partly due to all those little youth lads i was playing i guess. 16 year old keepers ftw! Youth I forgot to take a screenshot of the intake but it was the same as the last 4 seasons - at least 10 elite prospects, but none good enough to go straight in the first XI. The future is looking good! I already have a U21 international as well. Samie Fetahagic 26A was part of last seasons intake and I played him the last two matches. He was rubbish on his debut and scored a hat trick in his second game. He followed that pattern in his second season too! We missed him for a month as he disappeared with the Bosnian U21 side. Career Hopefully we can make a promotion push this season, but it'll depend on me picking the right youth prospects, which with the number I have isn't gonna be that easy! The lack of money in the bank account isn't a great sign for the future though

karax268
Louletano Desportos Clube - End of season review 2029/30 Fixtures | Fans | Finances | Transfers The League We improved significantly compared to last year. We were unbeaten for a good time before losing several in a row. We recovered and finished the year strong. 4th is a good improvement on last years 6th position. Especially if you keep in mind that we had more points than last years second place. We were just unfortunate that the three teams above us all had amazing seasons. The cup What a run! We reached the sixth round (QF) for the first time, playing some amazing football. We entered in the second round where we won narrowly from same division opposition. In round three we countered our way to an upset against Liga 2 site Chaves. We absolutely demolished them. I thought that was the end of the run as we were matched with a team from Liga Nos. But no, not only did we win against appropriately named SAD but also against Arouca, though we needed penalties against SAD. Sporting CP waited for us in the QF. In the first half they showed us how an actual football team could play. They scored twice in the first ten minutes and had several opportunities for more. We were fortunate to go into the break with only two goals against. They came out very complacent in the second half and we nearly capitalized. One goal early in the half was all we could manage. There were several good chances for an equalizer but it was not to be. A great run with a nice little payday at the end. Youth Intake Its been a few seasons since I did a full intake report so here it goes. Tiago Herculano 3001 | Diogo Cardoso 3002 | Rodrigo Faria 3003 | Antonio Capanda 3004 | José Marcelo 3005 | Luís Lopes 3006 | Julien Contrino 3007 | Duarte Reis 3008 | Leonardo Clemente 3009 | André Seca 3010 | Miguel Silva 3011 | Luciano Camará 3012 | Telmo Gomes 3013 | Paulo Nova 3014 | Liedson 3015 | Pedro Escaleira 3016 Tiago Herculano 3001 seems to have a lot of potential So I gave him the last three games of the season. and though we faced two of the top three, he played well. I inted to give him the opportunity next season to fight for the spot next to Espandinha next year. The overall quality of this intake is better than in the two years previous, Although attribute wise the best player of this year is the worst I’ve had so far. (not that pure attribute numbers necessarily translate to a quality player) Squad top performer and top goalsscorer: Pedro Serras 2404 led the team with15 goals in 27 games, while also assisting 7. This was his breakout year where he found consistency in his performance. He was instrumental for us this season. Notable performers: Wilson Evora 2401. As with Serras, this season was a breakout year for him as we relied on him too. He was especially good in the cup where he scored 5 goals in 5 matches Both players are the first in this save to have more than 10 goals in a season Nuno Espadinha 2613 was great in defense this year and claimed the first choice CB role in the team. He's still lacking in some areas but there is still room to grow. Gelson Neves 2808: He started as a bench piece that would get his experience late on games and ended up as my first choice AML.His progression graph is beautiful. He’s become quite the player. If only his physicals could improve a bit more. Off the field Each year the same story. Finances bad, no facility upgrade. You know the drill. I did however worked my way up to a Continental B license. Our Junior coaching is back to adequate. Not sure what is going on there. We also had an election. The new chairperson did not come with a bag of money unfortunately. He did however terminate the link with Porto, my senior affiliate. So that’s a yearly 110K we miss now. Good move, Sir. Good move. Next Season I hope we can build on this season and get back to liga 3. Or at least reach the playoffs. I will introduce more youngsters into the squad. Hopefully that won’t affect my teams consistency to much.

Safety & Building on Life in the Championship The season marked some serious changes at Guiseley. A number of transfer outs (For the first time ever!) meant some extra funds came into the club. But, other news around the club - Long time club captain (who gave up the captaincy for a better candidate) has said he will only ever play for Guiseley. He is a true one club man! And we hit a big milestone too. 1000 games in charge! The season as a whole was reasonable. We cemented our place as a Championship team again. And our 18s also had a good season (winning the U18s Cup again!) We bought back long term right back Harry Jordan to the club as a coach. And had some wonderful potential talents come through the Youth Team! But its another season for us in the Championship were we are really struggling to break into that top half. I think it just needs some tactical tweaks - but the spending power of the other clubs is a really problem! ONTO SEASON 20 WE GO !
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2029/30 Macclesfield Season Summary It was another mid table season, though we enjoyed an exceptional cup run in the F.A. Trophy. Season Details League Table - We were in the promotion playoffs until February, when our form fell off a cliff. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Our form from February onwards was amongst the worst I have ever experienced. Simply dreadful. F. A. Cup - It was another elimination at the fourth qqualifying round stage as Chester, who are proving to be my bogey side, beat us at home once again. F. A. Trophy - We enjoyed our best cup run to date as we made it all the way through to the quarter final before a narrow loss at home to Maidstone United from the division above. Friendlies - Despite lowering the difficulty of our opponents this year, we once again had a mixed bag of results. Squad - We have some players too good for this league though there is a drop off to their understudies. Squad Dynamics - This is rather good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - A lot of youngsters departed on loan for some first team football and we recieved our first ever transfer fee, albeing a nominal one, for a player. Youth Candidates - Right winger Lucas Anderson YP30B67 is considered the best prospect out of a strong intake. Finances - We made a small profit this year and thus we maintain a decent bank balance. Key Players Zion Dixon - It was another goal rich season from our frontman. Alfie Reid YP28A34 - The Welsh Under 19 international left winger really stepped up this year. Stuart Bell YP28F39 - Our best player, I have managed to tie the right back down to a three year contract. Damien McFadden YP28E38 - Another Under 19 international, the Irish central midfielder came on in leaps and bounds this year. Mark Rice YP27P32 - Yet another Under 19 international, this time for Northern Ireland, the right winger enjoyed a reasonably good campaign. Next Season I finally want to enjoy a prokmotion push, most likely through the playoffs. Popular Post SuperRedditch
Alright, Indonesia is still broken (contract dates and registry of players). So I'm off to a club I've had on a list of those to try. It's FK Viktoria Žižkov in the Czech Republic. I know a couple of others have given this team a go too. They're a decent size and have a load of history being one of the oldest clubs in the country. I've actually already almost finished the first season, as I wanted to make sure the save was gonna stick before posting.Profile (taken on first day at club) Edited March 21, 2023 by SuperRedditch
Popular Post Libertine13
2033/34 (Season 11) The season kicked off with our first ever venture into European football with the European Conference League, League Path Qualifying Round. First Round; Spoiler For our first ever European tie we didn't even have to board a plane. A two hour coach ride South of the boarder to face Dublin's St Patrick's Athletic, however, we had to welcome them to Grove Park Stadium for the first leg first. Our First European Line Up; We got off to a good start, dominating possession and went ahead after 27 minutes. Our lead didn't last long however as St Pats came back into the game. We fell behind shortly after and went into the break 2-1 down. We were struggling to make chances against a solid defensive line, despite controlling the game. We threw caution to the wind late on and were rewarded when talisman Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A not only got an equaliser, he completed his hat trick to give us a 3-2 lead going into the second leg! Second Leg The second leg was a cagey affair, the all important first goal was crucial and neither team really wanted to concede it. As the game went on and St Pat's sent more men forward in search of the equaliser we hit them on the counter with 5 minutes to go, and that man again, Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A, put the tie to bed! Onto the second round! Second Round (if applicable); Spoiler The second round saw us pitted against Bosnian side Borac Banja Luka. We literally knew nothing about this lot so we had zero clue how the games would pan out. We were extremely fortunate to get out of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a credible result. We conceded a penalty after 20 minutes, which Johnathan Johnston 31A managed to push wide, but 8 minutes later conceded another that they managed to put away. Somehow despite being under the cosh for the most part we hit them with two deadly counters to lead the game at half time. They came back in the second half and turn it round and earned themselves a deserved 3-2 lead. Is there such a thing as a snatch and grab loss?! We went into the second leg wary that we could be in for another game where we come out second best. However it didn't pan out that way at all, I'm not sure if we were just superb this time around or the opponents didn't turn up but we dominated throughout, an early goal from Johnathan Mitchell 31B set us on our way. Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A continued his hot streak in front of goal and doubled our lead before the break. He completed another hat trick in Europe giving us a 6-3 win in aggregate! Third Round (if applicable); Spoiler We were rewarded with a massive game against Aston Villa in the third round! We definitely didn't have any expectations to get through this tie. The first leg, away from home, we weren't ever in the game. We had such little of the ball and only the one shot for our troubles. But Johnathan Johnston 31A put in a heroic performance between the sticks, we had no right to still be in this tie. So we welcomed Aston Villa back to our place and somehow we still had a slight chance of progressing. Maybe the performance from our keeper last time out inspired us, I'm not sure, but we found ourselves in dreamland within 8 minutes. Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A, putting us ahead on the night! It looked like we might hold out until half time but a minute before we conceded as Villa piled on the pressure. We fought bravely in the second half, despite clearly being out of our depth. With 14 minutes to go we thought we were back in the game only for Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A, to be ruled offside! Our heads dropped and only two minutes later we conceded and then gave away a silly penalty with a few minutes to go. A spirited performance but ultimately, beaten by the better team. Fourth Round (if applicable); Spoiler N/A European Conference League (if applicable); Spoiler N/A Our league form was fantastic, winning every game bar the matches against the fully professional sides up until November, where we picked up a couple of unlucky draws. With Cliftonville and Linfield competing in Europe we were actually sat top for a good while as they had games in hand. We even picked up a couple of positive results against the big boys to give us some hope of finishing inside the top 3, including a first ever league win vs Cliftonville. However we just fell short, 4 points off Larne in third place. I'm desperate for our club to turn professional as I know we struggle with fitness around Christmas. We managed to get to two semi finals this season as well, losing in the NIFL Cup to Larne and in the Irish Cup beaten by Linfield. We have a couple of big issues within the squad. Our right back Brendan Moore 32A and centre half Daryl Polden 32D are refusing to sign contracts as they want to see the squad improved first. I have no way of discussing this with them and they're not even unhappy or come to me about this issue. They're both still on youth contracts despite turning 17 but the former has one year left on his. Both would be easily poachable if anyone was interested in signing them. We'll be significantly weaker without them. Youth Intake; Spoiler The Youth Preview was pretty poor, we're fairly well stocked in the midfield department and I doubt we'd be wanting to usurp Robbie-Lee Clingan 29A as our main man up top. Well this was better than expected. Maybe I've got some healthy competition for our star man up top, or the possibility of changing back to a two striker formation. The best surprise was a tidy looking left back though, we've just lost Albert George 27A as he wasn't interested in signing a new contract and this new lad is better. Adam Gorman 34A Tiarnan Dykes 34B Jack Johnston 34C Finances/Facilities; With the prize money from our European matches we saw our balance hit over £1m for the first time and the board duly and finally agreed to update the training facilities which we completed in February at a cost of £760k. They refused my pleas to turn professional though, citing that the club hasn't ever been at this level of football before and want to become established here first. So another slog of a season with little improvements and no chance of catching the Professional Clubs.
streety
Season 23/24 Well overall it was a season of disappointment. I was hoping for a good season but it was evident things were going to be tough. Overall i was invested in the save but no matter what i did..tell a lie we had a mini revoloution in results to try and get out of the relegation playoff zone but players form and morale was just rock bottom and going into the Relegation playoff i was trying to hype myself up in dodging the trapdoor but watching the match it was clear it was a combination of everything that ended up in Relegation. Only my 3rd relegation in FM - Season over - RELEGATION . Season over - Sacked Final League Table Contact Terminated SACKED! Popular Post SuperRedditch
Season 1 - 2023/24Fortuna národní liga - 6th Bit of a mad season. There's a 3 month winter break, and going into it I was almost 1 game away from the sack. Afterwards though, we won 9 out of 15 games, to slingshot into the top half and ease the pressure on me. This was almost entirely down to one player - Václav Kadlec, the one-time FM wonderkid. He's 32 now, and a little bit temperamental, but hit 22 goals to ensure our position. The legacy players are all pretty old, the best 5 are 31/32 and my first choice GK is retiring at 37. It means fast-tracking the youth through. The Intake We've got decent facilities, but this looked awful. It turned out okay. I don't understand the intake preview system at all. Not fit for purpose, imo. These are the two stand outs. Zednicek has already scored 5 goals in 5 games since he joined, which is very promising.Next Season Tread water, develop youth, get more coaching badges + recruitment upgrades and build, build, build.
syemo
Well my first attempt in a while in sweden lasted 15 games. I went with Hogaborgs BK, squad of 16. First 20 mins of pre season we lost one of our CM to a broken Leg out for 10 months. We has 2 other longer term injuries throughout pre season or the first 15 games. After 7 games the supporters had a poll and more was in favour of me getting sacked. After 11 games the board asked us into the room and wanted an improvement. The 4 games we had going into this month was against 5th,1st,2nd and 12th we beat and drew against the top 2 but lost the others. With a new election also happened this month i thought that might give more time but sadly not and this came after the loss with VMA

syemo
@streety i will be probably giving it another go i just want to get one that will stick. I struggle to get past the first season tbh so hoping one will. I felt good about this one and probably the only one i have done. Popular Post darren1983
So after having some thoughts I felt like coming back to this and, well, there really is only one place for me isn't there? Season 1 2023/24 Vanarama National league North Wanted to play through first season before I uploaded anything but here is my starting profile League - An excellent season from us as we stormed to the title setting records in total goals and total points, even when we had a slight wobble at the turn of the year (only 1 win in 6 in Jan) the closest anyone got to us was 5 points. We played my usual 433 but a broken leg to CM Will McGowan (a youth product so even more annoying) meant we didn't have enough quality to carry on the 433 so a change in formation kick started our form in the 2nd half of the season. I like that I know have 2 or 3 formations I can go to as being flexible in these years is helpful. We won the title with 5 or 6 games to go which gave me a nice run in to use fringe players in to see who might be worth keeping around next season. FA Cup - pretty awful from us here, could have done with a decent cup run but we just had one of those games where we don't really turn up and were knocked out by a team in our league FA Trophy - much better here as we beat 2 National league sides on route to the final where we beat another (and the winners last year) to win this for what I think might be the first time I ever have done Transfers - obviously none in but a couple out, one even for money Squad - The AI went crazy in the holiday season with the strikers they signed so we still have way too many, this also means we're lacking elsewhere but we do have decent depth in numbers if not in quality Finances - only in profit thanks to £400k put in by the chairman at the end of the season. No idea how or why're we're losing so much but expanding the stadium by 500 seats probably won't help. Youth Intake - A little disappointing for a first intake. Usually, due to the low level of the squad, you get a few 5* guys but we got none. As a result I only tagged 2 players but did sign everyone as at this stage I like having a full U18 squad and you never know who might kick on (my policy of signing everyone may also play a part in the finances but most are only on £5 a week so it's not too bad) John Westwood YP01A - classy looking playmaker. Our change in formation does mean I now have one where a player like him can be usedRyan Bradley YP01B - always nice to get a keeper in early doors Career Overview Season League Position Notes 2022/23 NLN 1st Champions, won FA Trophy, Manager of the year So I guess what I mean is

Popular Post Neo_Geo
FINAL DAY HEARTBREAK FOR SALZBURGER AK 1914 More Youth DetailsYouth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review The headline of the season was missing out on promotion on goal difference after losing to the team that leapfrogged me on the final day 1-0 at home. It was tough to take but in saying that we were 200-1 to win the league (which Red Bull Salzburg's underlings FC Liefering won pretty comfortably) so we would most likely have come straight back down. We didn't score that heavily but defender pretty well with the 4-1-2-2-1 DM Asymmetric AML (thats a mouthful) which I opted for given there was very poor choices on the right (something the intake has rectified so I'll see about possibly switching it up depending on our opponents tactics). In the cup we got to the third round and were humbled 3-1 by FK Austria Vienna so no complaints there and whilst there weren't many finances involved with this I earned £1.2m over the season with 3 payouts related to having a minimum of 12 Austrian players in the match day squad for 9 matches in a row so that was a welcome boost to the finances as they were in a general decline throughout the year. The intake was ok and has given us what appears to be a solid centre back to develop next season in the First Division which is great as I had to resort to players out of position this season when injuries and suspensions kicked in. The left back and central midfielder will also prove useful but the majority I reckon will just sit in the B team this season. Unfortunately the registration rules are such that you can only register players during a window so whilst I can register up to 99 players I couldn't add any of the new youth players for the last half a dozen games. The board have been great with my coaching badges with 2 attained and a further one in progress as well as agreeing at the second time of asking about Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment upgrades that now sit at 3.5 stars and 3 stars respectively which I think is a great position to build upon after 1 season. They have also just increased the number of allowed coaches to 4 and I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of coaches interested in joining the club. Attendance wise we are filling over 50% of our stadium so we have room for growth so things are looking good. I love the format of the First Division with a straight up 30 games with one team going up and whilst FC Liefering will be favourites once again finishing second seems achievable if we can hold onto this squad and develop a few of the youngsters. There's also a hefty winter break which can speed up the season as well.
Popular Post Winski
1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig Well, here I am: back in Germany. I recently started some different saves, in Hungary(with DEAC) and two in Germany(this one, and one save with BFC Dynamo). But as I really want to complete the challenge with a former DDR-team, I chose Lok Leipzig. Mainly because Leipzig deserves to have a real football team in the Bundesliga to compete with plastic club RB Leipzig. But also I really like the history of this club. They won the Bundesliga 3 times long, long ago(1903, 1906 and 1913), won the Cup once in 1936 and also had some European success. In 1987 they lost the Final of the Cup Winners Cup against Ajax(1-0). In 1966 Lok Leipzig won the Intertoto Cup(4-1 against Norrköping), and in 1974 they were Semi-Finalist of the UEFA Cup. So a lot of history at this club. I want to bring this club glory again. This is my manager profile. I made these kits, based on some historical kits. I put the skyline of Leipzig on the away kit. The start of the season is very promising! I know the club and the players quite good, as it is not my first attempt with this club. I'm now 12 matches underway and still haven't lost.

Popular Post russ the womble
The Table Spoiler After a disastrous start (no win in first six games), managed to climb back up the table to 5th and then ended up 3rd after the play offs. Almost snatched 2nd. The Team Spoiler Our team decided not to score goals this season The Talent Spoiler Top current players: Sven Wagner is rated as the 'next Toni Polster' - bold claims I may also persevere with the following next season as they have shown nice potential and impacted game The Intake Spoiler The Stats Spoiler Bad forwards! Hoping Wagner and others can step up and improve things. We were fortunate this season that the defence only conceded twice in 14 games because the strikers were useless The Bank Spoiler Lack of European football was costly.. The Fans Spoiler I don't understand why our strikers decided to have the season off. They weren't particularly upset about anything. Our attacking players are now the worst part of the team though (currently 2 stars or less!) so need to improve there.

Popular Post SuperRedditch
Season 2 - 2024/25 Fortuna národní liga - 6th 6th for the second year running. This time, however, we dropped out of the play-offs over the last 5 games with a disastrous run of form. It's alright. We are nowhere good enough for the top division, more time to develop youngsters is required. Especially in defence, oh boy are we bad in defence. Star player Václav Kadlec is leaving on a free this summer and I don't really have anyone to fill the AMC position he vacates, which is a shame because I'm enjoying playing 4-2-3-1 for the first time in years on FM. Top Newgens Jan Zedníček 24b - 26 goals in 30 appearances. He's already wanted by top Czech teams. Milan Novák 24d - Started developing very very well. He's wanted by Slavia Prague and I've had to promise to let him go if I get a £1.2m offer. He's fickle, so won't stay, but will be the first player I sell for a bit of money. Unfortunately, I received this awful news item in the close season. Really hate this, I get why it's in the game but it's just terrible. Youth Intake 5 of these have gone into the first team mix. Probably the reason for the poor form at the end of the season, but a long-term view is essential. Next Season Might just go full youth - have a bit of a transition season.
Popular Post _JHTB_
Ilkeston Town - Season 3 – 2nd – Lost playoff Final Transfers -- Squad -- League Last season Remaye Campbell started the season horrendously, this season he started a man possessed, 13 goals in the opening 8 games saw us off to a fantastic start. The team as a whole were good again this season and on the whole we’re improving season on season with this season us arguably getting enough points that might have otherwise won the league, but Darlington had other ideas walking away with it so it was a 3rd consecutive playoff campaign for us to navigate. This time we were into the semi-finals straight away due to our final league position and we made the home advantage count as we secured a narrow 1 goal win to send us to within 1 game of promotion. Unfortunately, we started poorly and found ourselves 1-0 down in the first half with us creating nothing. After some tactical tweaks we were much better in the second half but we only managed to draw the game level, not find a winner and ultimately the game went to extra time and then penalties. We missed 2 penalties in a row in the middle of the shootout and Banbury scored all of theirs so we found ourselves 0 for 3 in playoffs so far. Youth Intake Again we improved our youth recruitment and junior coaching but the intake was a little disappointing in terms of the starting quality of the players. Charlie Beardmore 3 – Beardmore is the pick of the bunch in terms of players who are closest to being in the first team reckoning. Like most of our youth players so far, he is lacking a lot physically but next season, especially with us failing to get promoted, I may be tempted to just play him in midfield in place of one of our aging centre mids. James Doyle-Hayes 3 – He will ultimately end up being trained as a centre back for us as does have ok attributes for there heading aside. He does have some work to do but thankfully defense is currently one of our strongest areas. Overview To be honest, I think we’ve got to aim to win the league next season, we’ve improved season on season and all of our first team players are contracted to another season at least which means with developing youngsters we had aught to be a stronger team still next season. Key Players Timmy Browne 1 – Browne is developing well and both this and last season he has been first choice centre back. He’s developed quite a lot though still is weak on his heading though he still managed 7 goals over the season. Charlie Wakefield – Wakefield has been very solid for us in the middle of the park. 15 assists in the league is a great return. He was ever present for us this season. Remaye Campbell – Campbell was the same player that he has been in every season, he either is good for a goal or two or will play pure awfully. Thankfully this season was more of the former than the latter as he fired in 49 goals over the season, but unfortunately, the playoff final was one of the latter.

Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2030/31 Macclesfield Season Summary A heartbreaking season where we made it all the way to the promotion playoff final before a narrow defeat saw the club remaining in the sixth tier for at least another season. No cup runs only added to the disappointment. Season Details League Table - By finishing second, we achieved our highest ever league finish. The fact we accumulated so many points yet didn't win the league shows just how strong FC United were. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We won our first seven league games and were battling for promotion all season long. Promotion Playoffs - Devastating. Chorley defeated un on our own patch by one goal to nil in the final. F. A. Cup - A shock defeat in the second qualifying round away to seventh tier outfit Nantwich Town saw the club crash out at the first hurdle. F. A. Trophy - There was to be no repeat of last season's heroics as South Shields dumped the club out at the third round stage after a penalty shootout defeat after the clubs shared four goals. Friendlies - It was our best pre season campaign to date as we only lost two of our ten games as we prepared for the new season in the best possible way. Squad - The players are developing nicely so the squad is getting stronger. Squad Dynamics - This is just lovely isn't it? Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - I allowed some fringe players to leave on free transfers and some youngsters departed on loan for some experience. Not as many as last season which was disappointing as the interest was just not there. Youth Candidates - It was another good intake, with goalkeeper Dion Leese YP31A82 being the best of the bunch. Finances - We made a small loss this year, primarily due to no cup runs of note. We still have a healthy bank balance, however. Key Players Zion Dixon - He has been displaced as our main striker but has found a new home on the right wing. He is in decline though is still a vital part of our squad. Damien McFadden YP28E38 - The Irishman can be so dominent in central midfield. Mark Rice YP27P32 - The Northern Irishman was a goal and assist machine. Alistair Wolfenden YP28D37 - Now firmly cemented as our first choice striker, he repaid my faith by scoring 35 goals in 48 appearances. Josh Maras YP29L61 - An Australian Under 20 international, the central defender had an excellent season, his first in the first team. Next Season It has to finally be promotion, surely? Popular Post Weed07
Crewe United - Season Eight 30/31 Danske Bank Premiership Season Summary Unlike last season there were no big sales of players so we went into the season with the squad that ended last season and after our 3rd place finish and winning the European playoffs we were back in Europe having missed out the previous year. We kicked off the season with our European games and were drawn against Finnish Side IFK Mariehamn who looking at them seemed like a team we could beat but we lost 3-1 away in an even game that didn't deserve a defeat and then at home we conceded an early goal and were losing 1-0 at half time. In the second half I went progressively more attacking and we scored in the 47th, 68th and then 89th to take the tie into extra time, unfortunately we conceded again in the 100th minute and couldn't get another goal we needed so although we won the home game 3-2 we lost the tie 5-4 on aggregate and our return to Europe was short lived. Ahead of the league I checked the preview and we were predicted to finish 6th with odds of 100/1 which were better than last seasons but I expected us to do better than that. We started off the league season with a poor 1-1 draw against the worst team in the league in one of those FM games where we dominated and they had 1 shot which was a direct freekick that they scored from so I wasn't too worried about the poor result as we were the much better side and our quality showed in the games to follow winning our next 7 games in the league and cups and for the rest of the calendar year we only dropped points in 3 league games with a draw and 3 defeats winning the rest and also winning all our cup games. Despite our excellent form we were only 2nd in the league going into the New Year as Larne were dominant and had beat us twice the games we played against each other with Glentoran beating us in the other defeat but only 6 points separated us which we could claw back in the second half of the season. Unfortunately while we could claw back the points we didn't manage to do it, we went unbeaten throughout January but lost again to Larne at the start of Feb and then lost back to back games for the first time all season as Cliftonville beat us, we then regained our form only losing 1 other league game, however that was our 4th league loss of the season to Larne. In the end we finished in 2nd which is our highest placed finish and our best league season but losing 4 times to Larne from 4 games against them resulted in us finishing 13 points behind them. Our 82 points would have been enough to win the league in 5 of the previous 9 seasons and Larnes points total of 95 is the most of any winners on the save so far so I'm not disappointed in only finishing 2nd. In the cups we won the Mid Ulster cup for the 3rd time in the last 4 years, looking at this cup we should really be winning it most seasons as the other teams involved aren't professional and we are the best team in it as it looks to be a regional cup so the other big NI teams aren't involved. In the cups where all the big teams are involved we lost in the Semi Final of the Bet Mclean cup to Coleraine and lost in the Quarter Finals of the Northern Irish cup to Larne who are becoming my most hated team in NI. Overall a good season, a cup win and league runners up and being a professional side now we didn't have a second half dip in form that we saw in previous years and we had a few players developing really well now they are training full time so we can only get better so long as we can keep the best players at the club. The league table: Spoiler Our youth preview didn't look great with the ratings but it was still showing as an an excellent intake expected Spoiler The actual intake was better than I though it was going to be with 2 players good enough for the first team squad, a back up striker and an attacking midfielder better than our current ones so can go straight into the best 11, we also had a keeper that looks promising: Spoiler With the money we got selling our two best players last season we continued spending it on facilities and upgraded both the training and youth facilities a couple of times and we now have the best in Northern Ireland: Spoiler Supporters Profile: Spoiler Competitions: Spoiler My Manager: Spoiler Transfers - None in but we did sell a few to other NI clubs for small fees, the first time really selling players domestically for money. Hopefully we can start filtering those not good enough for us into other NI teams to improve them and make the league stronger, ideally long term if we produce good players that aren't good for us they can help rival clubs do well in Europe and help increase the leagues reputation which will benefit us too so seeing other clubs now wanting our cast offs is a good start. Spoiler End of year awards saw my striker and centre back get into the team of the year and a midfielder that surprised me with his development and broke into the first 11 mid season came 3rd in the young player of the year. It was the first time however in 4 seasons than none of my players won either of the young player awards which was disappointing. Spoiler One of my new youth intake players became the youngest ever player in the league and another became the youngest goal scorer: Spoiler Some spreadsheet data: Spoiler Club info: Season stats: Manager stats: Next season I would like to get closer to 1st in the league and maybe even win it, I'm hoping Larne had a fluke season and aren't that much better than us next season. I would also like another domestic cup other than the Mid Ulster, maybe win the NI cup for the second time or our first Bet Mclean cup. In Europe I would like to progress further than the first round but I'm not sure we are good enough yet to get near the group stages but some of the later qualifying rounds would be nice if we get lucky draws.
Popular Post Koetzer
FK Viktoria Žižkov – season 2034/35 Losing a player who scored 50 last season couldn’t happen unnoticed, we weren’t so clinical in front of goal but instead became much better defensively and managed to return into European competitions! Sparta had some insane amount of points, no idea when we would be strong enough to challenge them. Cup A decent run which ended when we needed some rotation against Jablonec and couldn’t even get a shot on target. Squad stats B.Varga *26i – our defensive form was crucial for these results, and Varga eventually became the team’s MVP. J.Šmíd *28a – couldn’t score for three months at start of the season, but improved later and became a leading scorer for us (though these numbers are closer to what we got while being relegation candidates). A.Uhlíř *31a – had a hard task to replace legendary Muxel, at least wasn’t hopeless in trying to do this and won the talent of the season award. D.Klinka *26d – was our best assistant before Jambor’s record season, remains one after his departure. R.Karafiát *31h – a versatile defender who had a breakthrough season on loan and returned as a starting right-back. P.Kodr *26c – our goalkeeper had the best season in his career with 16 clean sheets. S.Trifunović *34g – my personal MVP of the final stage, I promoted him after several first team midfielders were injured and he really impressed. To be honest, we didn’t have such a well-balanced central midfielder for a long time! Transfers – apart from these, we also had several pre-arranged sales which happened before the season update. Youth intake (preview) Málek *35a | Jakobovský *35b | Rosický *35c | Bartoš *35d | Thinh *35e | Kubišta *35f | Wiesner *35g | Kaufman *35h | Tavío *35i Surely the most diverse intake so far in terms of nationalities, but all the best talents are local guys. Malek is going to be an excellent playmaker in future! Finally we had a board takeover, and the new chairman is certainly more ambitious to approve the youth facilities upgrade!
Popular Post Riebow
Arras FA Season Review (34/35): Les Boyaux Rouges League: The bookies had us dead last with odds of 1000-1, so how did we do in the end? Did we go straight down or did we manage to stay up? Our first couple of games didn't go too well and that's an understatement. It took us until the 5th game before we could finally score a goal! Game day 6 brought with it our very first win. Victims were FC Metz. Ngom and Vinet gave us the much needed points. Things started to catch on a bit after that. We stole a win in Strasbourg and beat fellow bottom dwellers Brest with 1-0 scores. After logical losses to Toulouse and PSG we beat relegation rivals Grenoble 2-1. We followed that with losses to Rennes and Lille and finished the year with a win against Troyes. At this point we were sitting nicely on a 14th place. In the new year we lost a heart breaker in the cup agains Metz. We were up 3-0 at half time, only to go and lose on penalties. The loss really hit on our morale and our form plummeted. We achieved an unlikely tie at Lyon, but other than that it was just dreadful. Worst was 3-4 loss at Montpellier, where we were up 3-1 at halftime, lose a man with a red card and completely crumble. I had to put the laptop away for a while after that game. Our only win in that period came against Brest who were bottom of the league. With 5 games left to play the battle for relegation was still very much going on. Brest and Grenoble were far behind at that point and would relegate. The only question remaining was who would finish 16th and have to play relegation/promotion playoffs. We started the series with a disappointing tie against Grenoble at home. We then lost against Rennes, who were competing for the title. We finally managed a win at home against Lille, who where having a shocking season. Last two games would see us take on direct rivals Troyes and Sochaux. We lost agains Troyes and they climbed ahead of us to the 15th place, which meant we were now in the relegation playoff spot. One game to go. Sochaux was only 1 point ahead of us, so a win would secure our stay in the League 1. And we did! Milorad Petkovic gave us a very deserved 1-0 victory and another season in League 1. Spoiler The league table at the end: PSG won the title after close battle with Rennes. At the bottom Brest, Grenoble and Sochaux relegated to the 2nd division. We finished 14th! Spoiler Cup: As mentioned above we lost a heart breaker in the 9th round after squandering a 3-0 lead. Intake: Finally a decent intake with some wonderful talents. We really need a new batch of players to build around. Spoiler Paupol Malango: Best of the bunch. Fast and good at the ball, with great finishing. Finally some much needed help for the final third. Spoiler Stanley Anatol: Another player for the final third. Spoiler Dominique Aubert: This one has 'ball winning midfielder' written all over him. Spoiler Diego Minvielle: It wouldn't be an intake without a 5-star PA GK Spoiler Alex Gaudry: Good defensive midfielder with a great personality. Spoiler Jessy Charbonnel: and yes another high potential GK... Spoiler Next Season Ok, this is simply ridiculous! When we were promoted to the 3rd tier we needed to move to a new stadium, so our board moved us more than 700km away to play in 380-capacity stadium. We now have a new stadium and it's already at full capacity so our board wants to expand it, which is all fine. So what do they do? They rent our original stadium which was supposed to be insufficient to play in the National, but apparently good enough to play in League 1???!!! This is another season we will massively miss out on gate receipts. This is really a stupid bug. Edited March 23, 2023 by Riebow
JaytheGreat
AS Beauvais Oise Year 1 Youth Intake Yeah seeing this didn't really fill me with much hope but who knows. Yeah not exactly a helpful first youth intake, top prospect Emmanuel has surprisingly really good speed and seems like he good be an interesting off the bench option on a team with no real depth. Other then that there isn't much hope or promise from our 1st academy class. Top Prospect Emmanuel Diarra Spoiler
Popular Post BustaRaymes
SKF Sered Slovak First Division After a few months of playing different regular saves in FM23, it's time for me to hop back into youth only. My FM20 Littlehampton save is still alive (the year is 2084 and we're a bottom half PL team) but I really wanted to give it a go in FM23. Through the years I've been all over the place but I don't think I ever played a serious save in Slovakia. That being said: The squad looks.. troublesome. The one quality goalkeeper is leaving, we have one great centre-back and a good leftback. Midfielders are.. quick? Wingers are non-existant There's one big forward and 2 fast ones. I love it. Time to grind.

Popular Post Winski
1. FC Lokomotive LeipzigSeason review Season 1| 2023-2024 League table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers |Youth intake| Tactic | Affiliated Clubs| Club overview | Manager Profile Well, that was a great season!! We finished 2nd, and that's a direct promotion spot! So next season, we'll play in the 2. Bundesliga! I'm very happy that we managed to get promoted this soon. We don't have any money to upgrade our facilities. The board won't even let me start learning for a coaching badge... But in the 2. Bundesliga you'll receive a lot of money after the season. So I'll have to wait for one more year, but then we can finally start upgrading. Our board decided to upgrade our stadium with 550 seats. Our best players this season were striker and topscorer Djamal Ziane (he scored 23 goals and became topscorer of the 3. Liga), defenders Luca Sirch & Leon Heynke, midfielder Farid Abderrahmane, wingers Osman Atilgan & Bogdan Rangelov and goalkeeper İsa Doğan. Best youngster this season was 18-year old Oliver Bryks. Youth intake Spoiler The preview was not promising, and the same can be said about the actual intake. Just one Elite talent, but with the state of our current facilities it's logical.

Popular Post Neo_Geo
NORMAL SERVICE RESUMES FOR SAK 1914 More Youth Details Youth Intake PreviewYouth Intake Top 5 Season Review This season was more like what I think we should have had last year, we finished 5th and whilst we were keeping fairly close with the leading pack we faded away in the last third of the season. It was to be expected as I favoured 4 of my Elite1 group to start playing regularly and there have been some minor improvements in their ability but nothing stellar. We struggled defensively this term conceding over 10 goals more than last year but we scored 5 more goals. In the cup we made it to the third round once more so again nothing to really discuss. I feel very relieved we didn't fluke the promotion last season as I think we'd have been savaged in the league and come straight back down which I may have kept my job I may not have, safer this way as I can steadily build the youth into a position where we can challenge the teams in the league above in a few years. The board have been pretty solid so far with them agreeing to further Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment upgrades as well as backing 3 coaching badges for me this season (2 attained and Continental A just started at the tail end of the season). The technological advances feature hit this year meaning we are back to 2.5 stars (average) training facilities and I put in a request (tried previously and it was shot down) and the board accepted it this time at a cost of £950k, which puts our finances down considerably from the end of last season. The intake this year was really good with a standout in central defence, a couple of good strikers and in general a very good set of personalities. I'm looking forward to next season to integrate these guys with the team and then look to use my larger squad depth to get some of the fringe youth players out to USVC Plainfeld for some much needed match experience (albeit in non playable leagues) since the B team are not playing often at all. No sign of interest from other teams in my players at this stage but I think Boeckl (Elite2) might just be the first to garner some interest as without playing a first team game he is in the Austria U19s so I have high hopes for him. I'm thinking with the lack of decent wide players (only really Holzl is any good and he can play centrally anyway) I am thinking of a narrower formation for next season with a diamond formation or 4-3-1-2 AM or 4-1-3-2 DM or 4-3-2-1 as I believe the striker I have from the intake could make a good partnership and to be honest we really lack goalscorers in the team.
Popular Post SuperRedditch
Season 3 - 2025/26Fortuna národní liga - 2nd (Lost Play-off Final) You know that feeling in this game, where you fail at the final hurdle but you don't mind because you kind of aren't good enough and are just proud you did your best? That's this season. I can't fault the lads, especially as I phased out as many legacy players as I could. Ultimately though, we just fell short in the two-legged play-off against top flight Sigma Olomouc. After drawing 1-1 in the home tie, we lost 1-2 in the return leg after extra-time. Even our MOL Cup Quarter Final defeat to the Czech giant Viktoria Plzeň was a close run 1-2. We're competing in every match and we're getting better. I also managed to get almost everyone tied down on 4 year contracts (2+2 in my favour), in some cases 6 year (2 + 2 in my favour + 2 after promotion) - with no release clauses. Elsewhere, I negotiated a training facilities improvement to bump is back to the level it was before it dropped. Top Newgens Milan Novák 24d - He's the one guy I can't get to renegotiate a contract. At least until I'm promoted, I think. Only player to average above a 7 this season. Tomáš Hochmeister 25e - Just a super solid full back who's developed very nicely due to that Resolute personality. Youth Intake The two AMCs are a great pick up, but this is the intake. This intake potenially plugs a bunch of holes and I can develop into a promotion clinching team. Solid personalities, good spread of positions and, for the first time ever in this challenge, I actually have a pretty balanced squad after just a few seasons. A quality DC would be perfect though. Next Season Maybe promotion? We came close, let's go further. Loving the save though, this is where things start to get really good, imo.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2031/32 Macclesfield Season Summary Despite two good cup runs, this does not take away from the heartbreak of losing the promotion playoff inal once more. Season Details League Table - We once again had to settle for second place and the promotion playoffs. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Too many dropped points meant we were never in contention for automatic promotion. Promotion Playoffs - A nervy extra time win over Spennymoor Town in the semi final set up a final at home against Solihull Moors. We conceded an injury time equaliser and went on to lose after extra time for another devastating end to the season. F. A. Cup - We matched our best performance by reaching the first round again, before losing at home to League One outfit Charlton Athletic, despite leading at half time. F. A. Trophy - Just like the F. A. Cup, we matched our best performance by going all the way to the quarter final before AFC Telford United, who play in the league above, turned us over on our own patch, despite again, leading at half time. Friendlies - With only two losses, we enjoyed another fruitful pre seaosn campaign. Squad - We continue to improve and our first team should be winning this division. Squad Dynamics - As nice as you would expect. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - We sold one of our best players for a huge fee to Norwich City. It took a lot of bids and negotiations, but we eventuially secured a cool £1m for him. Youth Candidates - Greek striker Kostas Papathanasiou YP32A98 is regarded as the best prospect out of a good group of players. Finances - A small profit was made this year as the majority of the transfer monies have been spent on upgrading the training facilities, which are ongoing. Key Players Damien McFadden YP28E38 - The Irish central midfielder has become one of our best players. Alistair Wolfenden YP28D37 - He has become a goal machine playing as our main striker. He broke the forty goal barrier this season and was just two away from the magical fifty. Josh Maras YP29L61 - The Australian centre half was our best defender this year. Lucas Anderson YP30B67 - The right winger enjoyed a phenomenal season, his first as an automatic selection. Dion Lesse YP31A82 - The youngster has displaced long time number one Ian Wagstaff YP27D20 as our new first choice goalkeeper and he enjoyed a solid first campaign. Next Season We need to get out of this league so promotion is the only option. DazRTaylor
I am genuinely down about that season. They equalised in the 94th minute to deny us promotion. Time to go again in the new season.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
Some good news though. Well, two pieces of good news. Firstly, I cashed in the transfer clause for the player I sold during the season: Secondly, the board have turned the club professional: Edited March 24, 2023 by DazRTaylor

Or notice anything at all 'get better' that would trigger opening up the option for an upgrade?
JAwtunes
Praise the FM gods! Nothing of note has changed - same Chairman for the last 14 seasons. The youth requirement thing doesn't seem to have much/any effect, well based on what I have observed in a little test (see below). I assume the reputation of the club has cleared the threshold for my situation to allow the option to reappear. TBH I have been patiently holding on to the hope that a rep increase will help... as i cant to anything about my Chairman! This is what I found when I last did a test with Villa in the EPL. Might be of interest Spoiler Settings
