XaW
XaW - FC Tricolore Gasperich - Season 2027/28 (Season 5) - Promotion d'Honneur Squad | Transfers | Finances A very good season for us, as we managed to stay up in our maiden season at this level. It was a close call though, as a lot of teams were pretty even for the longest time. Now we just have to push on and become more accustomed to this tier. The intake this season was once again quite underwhelming. Coupe de Luxembourg: We beat Marisca Mersch, Union Mertet, Remich, and Mamer before we lost to Koeppchen in the semi final. Season Details League Table - By finishing second, I feel we overachieved somewhat. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A four match losing run ultimately cost us a chance of winning our group and qualifying for the prortion playoffs. Friendlies - Oh dear. It didn't bode well for the season ahead. Squad - We lack a lot of quality. Squad Dynamics - This is ok though could be better. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - We do not currently have a youth academy, so there was no intake this year. Finances - We did make a tiny profit this year though you may as well call it breaking even. Key Players Iván Gallardo - Our main striker was sensational, scoring 28 goals in 22 appearances. Diego Vásquez - The left winger achieved double digits in assists this year. Cédric Millet - He was our best defender by some distance. Régis Guillet - Comfortable up front or in midfield, he was good enough. André Meireles - Usually deployed on the right wing, he was not as consistent as Diego Vásquez, who played on the left. Next Season We need to get promoted to increase our income. Riebow
Oghab Tehran Season Review (25/26) League: A surprisingly good first season in the highest tier, still with mostly my original players! We competed for the Champions League spots (spots 1 - 3 qualify for the Asian CL, plus the winner of the FA cup), for most of the seasons, eventually finishing 4th. Because Persepolis also won the cup, the next CL spot went to us! Spoiler Cup: We made it to the 4th round again, but lost narrowly against one of the better teams in the nation in Aluminium Arak. Intake: Another mediocre intake due to our poor facilities Spoiler Mehdi Zare: He seems like the best of the bunch. A quick striker with a good personality. Hossein Dashti: Our central midfielders are getting there in age, so we need some fresh blood. Finances: We started the season with more than a 1M in debt, but luckily for us we possess a 30K capacity stadium. 2 home games against local rivals Persepolis and Esteghial resulted in two sold out stadiums and suddenly we're back in the black! With the finances repaired we even got some improvements approved! A rising attendance should allow us to improve our training and youth facilities over time as well. Next season: My first time in the Asian Champions League, so I'm not sure what to expect... I'm hoping for some extra cash influxes, so that I can get some facilities approved. I also need to get some youngsters in the first team so that we can become an established top division team.
Dr Pepper Man
Best season in the Vanarama National, finished 10th despite a poor start. Several injuries to key players meant my start was a very poor start, 2nd bottom after 8 games. thankfully players returned and my for picked up. Made a very late push for the playoffs but fell just short so hears hoping next season we can maybe make the playoffs. Tom Dickens, Kristian Fjodorovs and Rob Williams are all to be released at the end of the season. Best Player was central defender Lewis Goodall with a rating of 7.11. Top scorer was Ryan Robinson with 21 despite 3 injuries throughout the season. Edit. Star defender Jordan Gillingwater sold by the club despite my attempts to protest this 2nd Edit. Excited to see how this youth player comes along, looks like a future star Edited June 19, 2023 by Dr Pepper Man
VillaSmith
Massively enjoyed my attempt with South Shields a couple years ago, so I'm taking another stab this year. This time a bit closer to home as I remembered to load the Southern Premier Central and have gone with my family's local team - Tamworth FC The Lamb Ground Starting Manager Attributes Pre-Start Youth Intake Phil Ogden [23A] - Luke Statham [23B] - Seamus O'Brien [23C] Tamworth have started with three decent prospects form their 2023 intake - Ogden has the most potential with an okay personality, he could be the successor to Cockerill-Mollett the current LB and one of the clubs best players, although with his poor marking and decent attacking stats I think moving him further up the pitch may suit him better. Luke Statham has good potential too with a good personality, but isn't quite first team standard yet, particularly with Tamworth's strongest players being across the back four. O'Brien has okay potential and a rubbish personality, but he could be a decent BWM option at least for the short term. Season 1 - 2023/24 - Vanarama National League North League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers League - A good first year to the save spent at the right end of the table, competing in the playoff race for much of the season. In fact we went in to the final game in 7th with a home match against relegation bound Merthyr (who I'd considered being but they had barely any players left), easy! Well of course Merthyr won 2-0 and stayed up whilst we slipped to 8th. We performed poorly in the run in as the season began to take it's toll, losing starting midfield pair Jordan Clement and Alex Bradley to injury, plus starting CB Alex Collard to a straight red to miss the last 3 matches. Suprisingly even though my best players are probably in my defence, we could score this season but couldn't defend. In terms of youth development there wasn't much of note, only Seamus O'Brien got significant minutes as I struggled to find the third in my midfield three to accompany Bradley and Clement, and O'Brien found himself sharing minuted with Milnes and Mussa. He's developing into a decent DM for this level, but doubt he can be an important player long term. Cup - Lost on Pens against Boston in the FA Trophy, and only got past Marine in the FA Qualifying rounds before losing to non-playable, fierce rivals Stafford Rangers, so let's move on quickly from that shall we? Youth Intake Tyler Houston [24A] - Milosz Stefanowicz [24B] - Matt Oliver [24C] - Raul Da Piedade [24D] - John Morris [24E] - Victor Joseph [25F] - Chris Barlone [25H] Hard to tell if this is a good intake or our team is just so bad/small that any player is going to have 5 star potential. I'm hopeful for this crop though, with Oliver and Stefanowicz looking like they could at least be rotational players for the first team. Thankfully I got a keeper in this intake as Jasbir Singh retired this season leaving me limited with options in goal, so Da Piedade may need to be thrown in to the deep end. I'm hoping Morris and Houston can be useful next season too as my midfield options aren't great, but they may need some time to develop. Also a first season takeover! Although a suppoerter's trust may make this save a bit more challenging financially. it at least adds to the RP element of the save, a fan-owned, all-academy, non-League team climbing to Champions League glory Edited June 20, 2023 by VillaSmith
leyrtj
Sacked. Again. Have tried this 3 times in England now, and failed each time. A frustrating season allround. Conceded lots of late goals. Then would get a good result and the morale would go high, then I'd face 1st away or something. Scored 45 points in a 46 game season, which feels a bit harsh as well. Frustraing also as I'd survived 3 seasons and got the facilities upgraded. I'd just had a good youth intake and some of the youngsters were breaking into the first team. Not sure whether to try again in England or go elsewhere. Edited June 19, 2023 by leyrtj

For me with Northern Ireland it’s nice to see the national team improve with a few of my current players and a couple of sold players making a difference.
Traldon
Season 1 Review Alemania Aachen Youth Intake: 4 players who can become decent including a keeper which is great because my 2 keepers are quite bad League table: 4th place did allow us to go to playoffs because Borussia Dortmund 2 can't, but we lost it 4:3 on aggregate vs Eintracht Braunschweig, which hurts twice because i support their fierce rival Hannover96 We had a big help in 2 Youth players from the previous year, especially this guy, who scored 15 in 19 games: I'll be honest, no idea how to do these fancy tables, so I'll just leave it at that

VillaSmith
Season 2 - 2024/25 - Vanarama National League North League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers League - We had a fantastic start to the season and were firmly in a title race with Boston right up until January and playing some really good football, and what was most encouraging was that I'd begun to blood some of the youngsters with Oliver, Da Piedade and O'Brien becoming first team regulars, and Statham and Stefanowicz saw significant minutes too. But unfortunately we began to stumble from February onwards, allowing Boston to run away with the title, and then we ended up getting hit with a ton of bad luck, namely big injuries to three key players in Creaney, Clement and Jones, with Clement and Jones getting injured in the same game, leaving them all out for the rest of the season. Despite the disappointment of not being able to keep up my title challenge, I was still very happy with 2nd and a playoff berth, but injuries had taken their toll and our inexperience showed as we went out in the semi final to Gloucester City, whilst we had the better of the possession and chances, we just couldn't find the composure to get into the game. It was a good season and I feel it sets me up for a good tilt at promotion next year now some of the youth players have a bit more experience and we have a new crop coming through, plus we finished above Nuneaton and they also failed to go up via the playoffs which is a big bonus! Cup - A much better season in the cups this year making it to the 5th round of the FA Trophy, which came around just as I was hitting my downturn in form and I ended getting knocked out by Eastbourne Borough, but we had some good performances to get there so I'm happy with the progress. I also progressed in the FA Cup, making it just one game away from the Cup Proper but faced National League Chesterfield who were just too good for me. Youth Intake Matty Atkinson [25A] - Jason Hart [25B] - Jordan McDonald [25C] - Zibusiso Sang [25D] - George Osborne [25E] - Lewis Pearce [25F] - Kevin Harris [25G] - Rhys Clewlow [25I] - Tom Morgans [25J] - Francis Griffin [25K] Another good crop of youngsters with quite a few first team candidates already I feel. Matty Atkinson is the stand out and I think he could be an important player right away although he has a disappointing personality, but he definitely should be challenging for either Jones' or Clement's spot in the team whilst they recover from injury. McDonald and Pearce have similar opportunities whilst Clement and Creaney recover. McDonald I feel can provide some needed depth in midfield at least and all Pearce is missing is a bit of pace to be a great striker at this level, hopefully I can create chances for him in the box as he seems a great natural finisher. I'm glad to get another goalie in Hart, just to provide Da Piedade with some competition and I'm hopeful for Osborne too, but with a few decent RBs already at the club I can take a bit more time blooding him in.
Popular Post Dr Pepper Man
BASFORD UNITED ARE A FOOTBALL LEAGUE CLUB. After an ok start we really motored on in the final half of the season and under normal circumstances would have won automatic promotion, but Bromleys huge lead couldnt be overturned. We had to settle for the Playoffs where we beat York (who we beat on the final day of the regular season to secure 3rd place) and then a comfortable 2-0 win against Barnet in the final. Only Bismark Terry Akiaminko will leave at the end of this season but several key players want to leave and some only have 1 more year left. may have to cash in on them if i cant convince them to stay. Ryan Robinson was immense as he bagged 44 league goals. Poor Youth Intak means ill be requesting upgraded youth facilities in preparation for next season.
VillaSmith
Season 3 - 2025/26 - Vanarama National League North League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers League - A disappointing season after last years flirt with a title challenge as we couldn't kick on like I'd hoped, although that is in part due to the stronger teams at the top of the table as whilst 84 points was enough for 2nd last year, it only got me 5th this year. Chester, South Shields and Fylde were just a cut above the league so there's no real shame in not keeping up with them. We struggled for goals this year as whilst Creaney seemed to get back in to form quite quickly, clearly his injury had hampered him as he dropped off towards the end of the season at couldn't reach the totals he got the last two seasons. Clement also struggled post injury return which meant I struggled with chance creation from midfield at times, although Atkinson and Stefanowicz stepped up from the wings as we moved to a 442 this year. I ended up relying quite heavily on youth players this year with McDonald, Atkinson, Oliver, Stefanowicz, Sang and O'Brien all becoming first team regulars and Ogden, Statham, Joseph and Pearce getting some good minutes too. Da Piedade started out well as my first choice keeper this year, however by March I was frustrated with him making big mistakes and I dropped him for Jason Hart, who has begun to develop nicely, although the shirt will be up for grabs again next season. Cup - Our FA Trophy campaign was frustrating as we eased past Coggeshall only to lose to Halifax on penalties despite their poor form in the National League, it was the type of fixture I would hope to get something from but we were unable to take advantage. The FA Cup was a whole different story, making it to the Cup Proper this season! Not only that, but we managed a couple of upsets knocking out League Two Harrogate Town who were struggling for form (they actually got relegated in 24th this season) and then had a real ding-dong of a match at home to Tranmere which saw 4 goals in the final 7 minutes of the match to put me in the 3rd Round! I hit the jackpot with a visit to Stamford Bridge which filled the coffers nicely and we even managed to put in a decent performance and get a goal. This cup run allowed me to invest in my Youth Facilities, Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching, so despite the end of season finances being in the red, hopefully we can start to see some improved intakes. Youth Intake Shamoy Jones [26A] - Gavin Williams [26B] - Jamey Turley [26C] - Conor Griffiths [26D] - Aron Holleran [26F] - Neil Pitchers [26H] (Forgot to take a screenie of the intake, so enjoy the preview) An okay intake, Shamoy Jones being the stand out with good technical attributes, but his physicals and personality let him down. Williams could be a useful option if I go back to using AMs but might not fit in to may tactics for a while. Turley and Pitcher could be useful with their passing ability but I'm happy with my CMs so can leave them to develop for a bit, and I may look at retraining Holleran to play up front with his finishing and composure as he could add some much needed pace upfront even if he's not particularly quick. I'm actually a few seasons in, but I'll try not to spam too many updates in herewhilst I catch up.
leyrtj
South Shields - England - Season 1 Season 1 - 2020/21 - South Shields - Vanarama National League North - England A good solid start. A start to the season with lots of draws, saw us then move up the table as draws became wins. Then we yoy-yoed around, eventually finishing 7th, before losing in the first round of the playoffs. Already I feel this is a better squad than Salisbury FC. Also the facilities started better at Average/Average - I can see why they are popular in this challenge. We had one upgrade to each approved. The Youth Intake was pretty decent. A 16 year old GK, Dan Brunt, comes straight into the team and could be our GK for the next 10 seasons. Also a right winger on the bench. There are another couple who might see the first team one day. Good start, hopefully we can avoud the sack this time. Popular Post libbyshuss
Aachen FC - Germany 2050/51 - Bundesliga Season Summary League - Aachen FC's 2050/51 Bundesliga season was an exhilarating rollercoaster ride. Engaged in a fierce five-way battle for the title, the team showcased remarkable resilience and determination. A phenomenal run around Easter propelled Aachen FC to a six-point lead over Bayern Munich with just three games remaining. However, a stumble with a loss and a draw tightened the race, leaving Aachen FC with a slender one-point advantage going into the final game. The team summoned their best performance and secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Mainz away from home, clinching their first-ever Bundesliga title. It was a season filled with nail-biting moments and ultimate triumph for Aachen FC. Champions League - Aachen FC's Champions League campaign in the 2050/51 season was a mixed bag of thrilling victories and disappointing setbacks. The team achieved notable successes, including a memorable triumph against Barcelona. However, inconsistent performances resulted in a challenging qualification through the group stage. In the knockout rounds, Aachen FC faced tough competition from Spurs, suffering defeats in both legs. While the journey had its highs and lows, Aachen FC's presence in the Champions League showcased their potential and provided valuable experience for future campaigns. Players Pascal Meier, Aachen FC's superstar striker, delivered a season of pure brilliance in the 2050/51 campaign. Back to his imperious best, Meier showcased his goal-scoring prowess with a remarkable tally of 50 goals in 42 starts. Popular Post _JHTB_
Ilkeston Town - Season 20 – Premier League– 14th Transfers -- Squad -- League -- Key Player -- Hot Prospect Whilst we did have a little bit of interest in a few of our players it was just one outgoing as Dean Huxley 15 without ever coming close to the first team was sold on for £8m. Despite playing not terribly to start the season, it wasn’t a fruitful one in points return failing to win until our 7th game. For the most part we were seeming a lot more competitive that last time in the division though the big teams were still handing out heavy defeats. Ultimately, whilst we were good value to stay up, that was largely contingent on our home form as away we were not good, 1 win 3 draws all season. Youth Intake A slightly better intake with finally a defender who has some potential though a bit far off on his current ability. Tariq Caton 20 – Another decent attacking prospect through our intake, seems to be the area we get our best prospects through. I think he will end up a squad player already next season for us whilst I send players out on loan for gametime. Jay Brice 20 – Our long awaited prospect central defender. He does have a fair bit of improvement required especially in his mental attributes but I feel he can develop to be a decent prospect for us in the future. Overview We spent most of the season in a 40k seater stadium, but have moved back to our modest 14k, following expansion. I have agreed for another expansion to take place this time to it’s ultimate capacity of 19k which based on the number of fans we attracted this season probably still isn’t big enough. We’ve managed to get a couple of overseas affiliates this season which will hopefully help to improve our intakes in the future and the board are slowly increasing our youth level as we are lagging behind on our youth facilities. I imagine we’re in for another tough season next time out, I want to integrate new players into the starting XI but it’s a balancing act of trying to maximise our chances of survival with maximising chances of better players for us in the future by giving game time at the highest level. Key Players Patsy Bennett 12 – Bennett as ever was a strong performer for us this season 5 goals and 9 assists in the league is a great return and even without scoring/assisting he always seems to put in strong performances. Benjamin Abdul 14 – Abdul started every game he was available to for us in the league, missing 2 through suspension and overall performing well. It’s actually one of his most consistent seasons in terms of game time and performances and still has room to improve. Darren Kerr 7 – Whilst Kerr has had better seasons, he was again ever present for the side and has this season become the highest league appearance record holder for the club (530 apps) and overall all time appearance maker (600 apps). With our lack of upcoming goalkeeper, he is going to continue growing his appearances even further.

Popular Post Brentmeister
Season 2 We began the season as media favourites for relegation but again started amazingly as we mounted an unexpected title challenge. We lead the league from the start until a month from the end when we disappointingly threw it away. We lost automatic promotion by goal difference on the last weekend and then lost the relegation/promotion play-off to Gent after leading 2-0. A heartbreaking final few games. 65 points and no promotion is extremely harsh. That 0-4 defeat to Zulte was the beginning of the end of our promotion hopes. A penalty and a red card in the first 5 minutes allowed Zulte to leapfrog us into the 2nd automatic promotion place. Cup Much the same as last year. 3 straightforward wins against lower league opposition and then a narrow defeat to a Jupiler Pro team, this time it was Charleroi. _____________________________________________________________________________ Key players Striker Gil van Moerzeke scored 19 league goals to help us to 3rd Spoiler ___________________________________________________________ Youth Intake and hoyd Our hoyd was poached by the aforementioned Zulte, (who are fast becoming my mortal enemies) for £150k, as we were so broke, I didn't put up any fight to keep him and replaced him with someone just as good...or so I thought. Ly started life as a fluid counter attacking hoyd, but as soon as I signed him he changed to a park the bus tactical style which is very annoying. I don't have the funds to replace him either so we're stuck for 3 intakes, hopefully, it doesn't affect us too much. The Intake was promised to be excellent and with 5 elite talents coming through, it looks promising. Forward Oscar Abate was deemed to be best in class. Spoiler ________________________________________________________________________ Finances, transfers and misc Our perilous financial position eased somewhat this season as we're making more money than we did in division 3. We still made a huge loss though, despite the chairman investing 1.2m. Any potential upgrades will be a few seasons away, unfortunately, so we can't get too comfortable in div 2. No transfers in and a promising youngster left for not much money. Spoiler I did manage to sweet-talk my way into a coaching course! I also won my 2nd consecutive Manager of the year award and was offered the head job at giants Standard, so personally things are going great. _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ Edited June 21, 2023 by Brentmeister
VillaSmith
Season 4 - 2026/27 - Vanarama National League North League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers League - It was an odd start to the season where we only lost one game but seemed completely unable to hold onto a lead and looked destined for mid-table after only get 14 points in the first 11 games, then we went on a long run of good form that put is right into the promotion picture by the middle of the season. We ended up just missing out on promotion, both me and Boston missing out to Altrincham on GD on a tense final day. I'm starting to get sick of playoffs, knocked out for the third year in a row, we just don't seem to have the composure to see out the biggest matches, although we did show some character to get past Spennymoor in the semi-final, Oliver (wearing the armband after becoming VC this season) equalised with the final kick of the 90, and then Sang popping up from a corner to win it in extra time, we did brilliantly to stay in the game and it was encouraging that we started to be able to turn games like that around. The final however we were seemed to never get on the front foot. We were 2-0 down after 17 minutes, but managed to equalise in the 20th, despite the quick turnaround we couldn't use that momentum and Boston ended up getting 4-2 ahead before a late consolation from Atkinson. Again though it was a good season in which we progressed and the young players are starting to shape the spine of this team. Da Piedade started at the beginning of the season in goal, but was awful, which meant Hart ended up my starting GK which seemed a lot more solid. Sang forced his way into the CB position more permanently whilst Atkinson, McDonald and Stefanowicz became important parts of my midfield four, and Oliver became VC, but with captain Creaney really declining this year, he basically had the armband all season and took a leading role up front with Pearce getting some good minutes too. Cup - Another frustrating FA Trophy campaign, once again falling in the 3rd round, this time to VNS Oxford City. We went behind early on and just couldn't get much of a foothold back in the game after we were 2-0 down. It didn't help that it came in the middle of a packed December when I had to rotate players and I started giving player time off from training just to have them fit for the next match. Hopefully once the youth players start developing a bit more we can have a deeper squad that I'm comfortable to rotate a bit more. Once again though the FA Cup was a brilliant other story, I'm having some absurd luck with it on this save! When we faced off against League sides it was against two sides struggling for form and against relegation which gave us opportunities to cause upsets, although I was convinced I would go out to Hartlepool in the 3rd Round, but having most of our cup matches at home seemed to be a massive advantage. Then in the 4th round we got the absolute dream draw, away to Man Utd which netted us over £1m! Most of which immediately went into facility upgrades, although some was kept in the bank so I have a bit of a buffer financially as I can't rely on games like this every season. Youth Intake Billy Baker [27A] - Neil Bates [27B] - Emmanuel Okafor [27C] - Sam Darkin [27D] - Lewis Watson [27E] - Lewys Williams [27F] - Dalmar Creighton [27G] - Ryan Williams [27H] - Trevor Dixon [27I] - Eddie Lynch [27K] A good intake this year with a couple first team candidates in Baker, Okafor and Creighton, although I'm happy enough with my squad right now that I don't think I need to use them as anything more than back ups for now.

leyrtj
South Shields - England - Season 2 Season 2 - 2021/22 - South Shields - Vanarama National League - North - England - 4th (lost in playoffs) Another good, solid season. We started the season really well and were in the battle for 1st place for the first half. Then, we had a cup run and form declined as we rotated and had fixture congestion. Still, we finished 4th, but got knocked out in the first round of the play offs again. The cup run was fantastic financially. I'd never given much importance to the FA Cup, but the run to the third round must have netted us around 500k, with 240k alone coming from TV money and prize money. The youth intake was good again. We've upgraded facilities again to Good/Excellent, and we should start seeing some really nce talents coming through. Three have broken through into the first team and a few are starting to become bench warmers. Two talents came through with 2 star CA. No stand out talents in the youth intake but good quality and personalities throughout.

Dr Pepper Man
Survival for Basford. A tough end to the season after a great start. Started with 3 wins in the first 3 games and then started to level out. after midway point we were just outside playoffs. we were ripped apart when our best 3 players demanded to leave and unfortunately i had to sell them, we were able to bring in just over £2million for the 3 players and will look to reinvest this into our youth facilities. Josh Langley, Jack Edwards, Lee Preece and William Wamba all released despite them playing a big role in our survival. I was waiting to apply to build a stadium until i became a legend and get it named after me but the club decided to try build one anyway. Amazing season. next season going to be really tough but im fully prepared for the long slog.
Popular Post Cultured Left Foot
If you'd like to follow along in more detail, this is a playthrough series on my YouTube channel : http://www.YouTube.com/c/CulturedLeftFoot SEASON 26 REVIEW.. OUT FIRST SEASON IN THE EPL ! First off, it was a great day to confirm we got to the EPL with the release of the fixtures.... A tough start against moneybags Newcastle, Premier League holders West Ham and then Classic giants Man Utd. But the fans were keen to flock to see their team perform in the big league! And of course, we are delighted to accept the TV money for playing in the "Best League in the World".. The board were more than happy to reinvest this money back into the club throughout the season... And they also used the cash to clear the clubs debts! Now, onto the season! It was very successful, as we claimed our safety and another season of pure cash! A good run at the end of the season saw form increase and results improve... it was needed, because all season I thought we were doomed. We did pick up one Manager of The Month award too... But some big discrepancies in our club vs the rest in terms of income, wages and profit... Even though we're now big time and in the Premier League, our youngster keep getting poached by the bigger fish ! All in all a cracking season and looking forward to having another crack at the Premier League next time.... And our next batch of youngsters coming through doesn't look to bad either.... And, usurpingly, we've produced a lot of players that are in the EPL... given that we are completely Home-Grown! So onto Season 27 we go, can we survive again ? WISH US LUCK ! Riebow
Oghab Tehran Season Review (26/27) League: As we were possibly overachieving last season by finishing 4th, we came down to earth and finished mid table. Our team still mostly exists out of original players, with some youngsters gradually getting some more playing time. Our best central midfielders are on the wrong side of 30 and their performance fell off a cliff. As a result we were pretty mediocre the entire season, but never really in danger of relegation. I expect a couple of seasons of consolidation, while we try to develop our players and facilities. Spoiler Cup: A very painful defeat, considering we were up 0-1 and the opposition was a man down. They scored 2 ridiculous goals and we were eliminated again in the 4th round. Europe! Asia! Our first experience with the Asian Champions League lasted 2 games. We defeated Nejmeh out of Lebanon in the first preliminary round, but Al-Wahda out of UAE were too strong. Intake: A much better intake than before with tons of potential ability. I also can't complain about the personalities coming through. Spoiler The Talent: Javad Rahimi is the best of the bunch: 2,5 star CA. In my opinion better suited as an inverted winger than a regular winger. I worry because he has a Balanced personality and he's constantly nagging about training, which never bodes well. Ebrahim Ghavidel is a pure winger in my opinion, a lot of speed , but not much else. Behrouz Babaei is a technically gifted central midfielder. He could become our future play maker. Ashkan Seifi: a very needed right FB. I was rotating between an ageing original player and a youngster from the previous intake. This guy seems like the real deal Naser Esfandiari: Another technically gifted midfielder, with great passing and first touch. We really need to revamp our midfield, so really happy with the talent coming in. Mostafa Alizadeh: Another GK, 5 star potential. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Upgrades 2 more home games against Esteghial and Persepolis paid for an upgrade of our training facilities Also upgraded our junior coaching: Next season: I'm hoping for another season of consolidation and building the team. By the end of next season I would like to have a core of young players ready to replace the old guard. Edited June 22, 2023 by Riebow
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 Sporting Club d'Escaldes Season Summary A season of stagnation as we finished third in our group and didn't really have a cup run of note. Season Details League Table - We were never challenging for the top spot and had to settle for third. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We just lost too many games to be in with a shout of the promotion playoffs. Copa Constitució PROTECTVALL - A very poor performance away to top flight Massana saw the club crash out at the second round stage. Friendlies - We won five of our eleven pre season games as we improved significantly over last season. Squad - We are still playing above our level. Squad Dynamics - We are getting there though we can still improve. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Just the one departure as one of our centre backs declined a new contract and left doe pastures new. Youth Candidates - We do not currently have a youth academy, so there was no intake this year. Finances - Another small profit was made this year. Key Players Iván Gallardo - Our main striker was still a regular goalscorer, though he was not as prolific as last year. Diego Vásquez - Playing on the left wing, he once again attained double digits for assists. Régis Guillet - Our best player this year, the central midfielder had an excellent season. André Meireles - The right winger was much better this season. Iván García Fernández - Our best defender, the centre back was decent enough. Next Season If we can become more consistent, I would like to challenge for a promotion playoff spot. Winski
I put my BFC Dynamo save on hold, although we were progressing nicely. The first half of the season went well, with a 9th place. But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted something else. I prefer a save in a smaller country. So I decided to try Hungary again. I chose Debreceni EAC, or just DEAC. A club from Debrecen, Hungary's second largest city after Budapest. I made some kits, just based on the in-game club colours. Let's see how far I can take them!
BustaRaymes
Bóltfelagið Royn Betri deildin menn - 2034 We were decent all season and seem to be entering the limbo between Vikingur and the rest of the table. The constant stream of Europa League money is worth so much, as we're healthy as can be now. Upgrades are no problem moneywise, it's just the board that gives me a hard time now. We won our first real prize by winning the Super Cup at the start of the season. It was a deserved win against Vikingur, which sadly did not continue into the season. Europe Tough draws gave us no chance of reaching the group stage. The 1-1 against Sociedad is a highlight though, and it wasn't even stolen when looking at the chances created. Squad Our formation worked a treat this season. I would like to have the fullbacks to play a bigger role going forward, but I've noticed that wasn't really working well defensively. David Debes is growing into a really good defender, he's being followed by the national team coach already. Our first full international and arguably best player, Lindenskov, wants to leave for a bigger club and has sadly signed with KI. I would understand Vikingur, but KI? Man. Teit Andreasen is developing well and his versatiliy gives us a lot of options formation-wise. He's our best option at all positions he can play at. Jacobsen absolutely exploded with 34 goals in 30 games this season. Youth intake Looks like our next striker duo is here! Gutti Wiberg is already a great player at 16 and Mikkelsen is better than our current crop as well. Egilsson arrived just in time and is our direct replacement for Lindenskov. Roi Mortensen is a great addition to our back line. Transfers Edited June 22, 2023 by BustaRaymes
