Kotwica Kołobrzeg - 2041/42

Squad - League - Finances - Transfers

I changed tactic this season and we won everything in Poland. Total domination. In Champions League we got easy to group stage where we struggle. We tied 2 matches with Club Brugge and Lazio after goals in 92' in both matches. As we played with Liverpool last match I was ready to take my backpack and go home but we manage to bet them on their stadium 1-2 after losing first goal in first 5 minutes. Then we meet another giant from England Newcastle but after 2 hard matches we lost. Perfect season but its time to win some European trophies :D A lot of players are in interest of top clubs from around world so I don't know if will be able to hold key starts. We got money but that might be not all. Let's go to the next season.

Our affiliated clubs changed, deal with Bosnia and Danish team end and I started look for new ones. For 180k we got NEC and from Peru San Martin for littlebit less. We get stratight foreign intake from this countries and another Korean from Busan. Bosvelt might look like partner for Helender in future. Got even some minutes in this season due to injuries. Baranowski is for sure wonderkid.

End of Season Review

Season 2025/26

Sporting Club d'Escaldes

Sporting Club D'Escaldes Logo PNG Vector (CDR) Free Download

Season Summary

An incredible season where we secured promotion via the promotion playoffs after dominating our league season.

Season Details

League Table - By winning our group byfifteen points, it show just how much we dominated.

League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were by far the best side in our group as we churned out the victories.

Promotion Playoffs - We secured a narrow one nil aggregate win over Inter d'Escaldes Reserves to secure promotion to the second tier.

Friendlies - We only won two matches in what was a tough pre season campaign.

Squad - The players have improved slightly though we do still lack quality.

Squad Dynamics - After such a good season, this has improved considerably.

Transfers In - None.

Transfers Out - None.

Youth Candidates - We do not currently have a youth academy, so there was no intake this year.

Finances - We made another small profit though are still a long way off starting a youth academy.

Key Players

Iván Gallardo - What a season from our frontman.  He scored a phenomenal 42 goals in 25 appearances.

Régis Guillet - The central midfielder was once again one of our best players.

André Meireles - Playing on the right wing, he had his best season to date.

Iván García Fernández - One of our central defenders, he was very reliable.

Alexandre Monteiro - The central midfield partner of Régis Guillet, they enjoyed a fruitful partnership.

Next Season

I am not sure what to expect, maybe a mid table finish?

Bóltfelagið Royn

Betri deildin menn - 2036

So we messed up so bad that I messed up as well by not screenshotting the table, and I'm already into the new season. So let's look at our decline:

Graph.JPG.70cbed477f98df95a865f1c61a2d5099.JPG

I hate it. We came in 4th, still Conference League but it's getting troublesome.

As an upside, we beat Vikingur at their ground to record their 4th loss in the last 7 seasons. So there.

Europe

Europe.JPG.9fec0b2c8cd39e6fe12e76eec5b6c702.JPG

We drew well, with trips to Andorra, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Grasshopper was a bit too strong for us, but the home difference wasn't as big as it looks and we actually beat them away!

Proud moment:

Squad

Formation.JPG.dea63f6f66499456af86fa166b53301b.JPG

4th place was in part (or mostly.. yes probably mostly) my fault for trying a 4-2-3-1, reverting to 4-4-2 was the solution.

Squad.thumb.JPG.6c56f5c460e1f23b722e624135cbab09.JPG

Toftum had a good first season in goal, and Olsen turned unhappy after about 6 games so he's leaving.

Andreasen is as good a centre back as he is a midfielder, being our best man at the back.

Mubarak came into the team earlier than expected but excelled a few times and develops really well

Up front, Mikkelsen outshone Wiberg. After retaining his position up front after reverting to 2 strikers, he showed he deserves a place in this team.

Batches are getting smaller but the quality is still there.

Rani Poulsen is a beast already and makes me doubt AGAIN about the 4-4-2. Just leave me alone, HOYD. Too many good midfielders to just use 2 of them.

So ofcourse the HOYD piles on it with another lovely AMC in Djurhuus.

Jakobsen is another left back, but seeing as our current options are unambitious, he has a good chance of getting in the team soon.

Suni Poulsen is another very decent striker and an able backup for our front two.

Another one I didn't screenshot is our goalkeeper Vang: he's mostly great because vang in Dutch means catch.

Associação Ferroviária de Esportes (2026 Season Update)

Leagues and Cups

Brazilian Super Cup

Spoiler

HUq0LHs.png

We got thrashed by Flamego in this one, it didn't help that we were down to 9 men, although we did get hit a milestone in this one, as Sérgio Luiz (22c) scored the first ever Senior Team goal by one of my tagged players (and Marcos Antônio (23b) was my first tagged player to be red carded in this game :( ) Not a super important trophy to lose, but a reminder of Flamengo's quality.

São Paulo State

Spoiler

We heavily rotated the squad for the Regular Season portion of the Sāo Paulo State Championship this year. With the Copa Libertadores Group Stage happening at the same time and also wanting to give some of my better youth prospects more game time, it felt like it was the smartest decision. The way the São Paulo State works is you are in a group of 4 and you play every team except the other 3 teams in your group. The top two teams move on to the playoff portion. With the Group this year being 2 First Division Teams, a 3rd Division Team and a 4th Division Team, and the board only caring if we qualified for the Quarterfinals, we did that quite comfortably. Then we played our first team players in the playoffs and won the whole thing.

Brazilian Cup

Spoiler

A year after winning this entire thing we heavily rotated the squad because fixture congestion is ridiculous in Brazil and we lost in the 3rd round, oh well.

27HC6RD.png

Brazilian First Division

Spoiler

LOvtqwK.png

We fought Flamengo the entire way and nearly came out on top, but Flamengo are really the class of Brazil at the moment. A broken leg for our stalwart Ball Winner Caio Vinicius about halfway through the season didn't help matters either.

orkx3nV.png

pUJcf07.png

Our Vinicius Leonardo came 2nd in Central Defender of the Year, but no one else on the team came close to an award and no one made the team of the year. Also Endrick was the First Division Player of the Year but came 2nd in Striker of the year (also he needs to leave this league, please, please, he scored 63 goals in 66 games this season.)

Copa Libertadores

Spoiler

We ended up with a favorable draw for the group stage, dodging any other Brazilian Teams and won 6 out of the 6 group stage games.

7gz4e3C.png

The knockouts were a different story, we comfortably made it out of the 2nd round against Emelec, but ended up having Penalty shootouts in the Quarterfinal (against Colo Colo again) and Semifinal (against Ceara) round after losing 1st leg advantages. the Shootout in the QF went 14 rounds, but the Semifinal one only went 4 rounds, which was better for my heart. Luckily for us our most feared team, Flamengo, was knocked out in the Quarterfinals by Ceara and we ended up in the finals vs. Palmeiras. We have fared well versus Palmeiras in the past and even with the higher stakes, this match went as well as the past has, with us strolling out 3-0 winners. I felt slightly better at winning this because we did start one of our tagged prospects in the final (Jefferson Luis 23g) and brought another one on as a substitute (Guilherme Machado 23h). That's kind of funny because we really had 3 Tagged players fully bedded into the 1st team squad this year, Valnei 22b, Sergio Luiz 22c, and Marcos Antonio 23b, but none of them played in the final, whether through suspension, injury or need in the game.

GjDRo0Z.png

9OkVPbD.png

u8JEPji.png

QA63lYt.png

mvG4TRc.png

Endrick, please leave!

So that's actually part one of the challenge completed, and to think we came 5 points off completing the entire thing this year (although that would've been a little bit of a shame, I'm enjoying this very much at the moment), Flamengo is a formidable foe in the league and we'll see whether we can capture the 2nd half of the challenge in the upcoming years.

Youth intake

TXWm14Q.png

Oh no, Palmeiras stole our uh, worst academy player. Anyways

ndc3s5s.png

vR7zUE7.png

Another Golden Generation as coined by our HOYD, and it looks very promising, we're absolutely flush with cash and I've been making timely requests to the board so we've absolutely pumped up our facilities at this point, which were frankly good to start with. With us being so rich, I've just signed and tagged everyone my HOYD recommended, even the ones who might not really be up to a standard that I'd like.

26A

FptWP7z.png

Already some great Technicals, and we tend to have our players grow physically, where he seems to have some good room to grow along with some nice raw stats.

26B

dR1EeVB.png

Lots of potential here, a little short for a center back but he has other positions he might be more suited for, possibly Center Mid, if he doesn't gain any height. Good versatility already and lots of room to grow.

26C

S7VRCNp.png

Another one that looks like he could grow into something quite good. Very short, but I'm intrigued by his skillset, love the aggression.

26D

mVuFQZE.png

Left Back is a position that could become a hole position if we have to continue far into the future and there's some nice things in this prospect. Good tackling and other technicals at 16, with room to grow physically in the important areas for a Wing Back in my system.

26E

wZonzGx.png

Nice CB prospect.

26F-26G

Ilz2oKB.png

OtBLMHF.png

Solid Striker Prospects, slightly different profiles, 26G seems more developed physically, while 26F is more developed in the Mental and Technical game starting out.

Tagged Players Update

Spoiler

2022

I thought I'd switch it up slightly for my 2022 tagged player updates and show their attribute Progress pages since they graduated the academy.

22A

BsVwRCo.png

He's just not improved enough over the past 4 years, and he'll most likely end up either sold (if I can find anyone to take him on) or released by the end of the next year when his contract is up. He sometimes makes the bench if there are conflicting games and he's even played a small amount this year, but his race is close to run, disappointing.

Career: 6 Appearances 0 Goals 0 Assists

22B

VewXGc9.png

He's coming along nicely, he still sits as our number 4 Center back, and with certain injuries this year he got good time there, but he's also our 3rd Right Back now, and also covers there some as well, he's still our top tagged player in appearances, although another tagged player has become a regular starter in the team, something 22b is not really close to at the moment, because of the strength in our squad at center back.

Career: 69 Appearances 0 Goals 2 Assists

22C

dhUyLIZ.png

22C has taken the backup striker spot in our squad. He can also cover Right Attacking Midfield, which is a nice bonus, but if our striker is ever missing or goes missing during the game, 22c covers that spot, and he scored 16 goals this year, good for about 150 minutes per goal on the pitch. Definitely the current Striker of the future and could definitely earn the starting striker spot in the very near future.

Career: 58 Appearances 16 Goals 2 Assists

So for 2022, that's two hits and one massive miss, I went back and looked at how everyone of these guys were rated when I started at the club (as they graduated the academy in the clubs 4th division year) and for two of them to be well bedded into the 1st team seems like a pretty good outcome for this intake. Everyone untagged in the 2022 intake has already left the club by this point.

Our First Tagged Player to be a Regular First Team Starter. He really started to show up for the team as we rotated the squad through the state championship and with the decline of Marqunhos, he slotted nicely into the starting lineup alongside Caio Vinicius. There are some worries that I have with him. He tends to get sent off a fair bit, especially when playing Ball winner, as he had to do while Vinicius has been injured. The "Tries to Play Way Out Of Trouble" Trait also can be kind of ugly (or very very pretty if it works) which I don't particularly like on a midfielder sitting just in front of defense as our Ball Winner does, so I'm trying to play him more as our box to box sitting farther forward.

Got a fairly decent amount of first team exposure this year. He's not really a ball winner, so I've been trying to work him into the Box to Box role. He even scored this year and started the Copa Libertadores Final this year. (23b was suspended) Excited for him to keep developing and providing support to the first team, at this point he's basically my 4th Center Mid.

23H

With his versatility across the backline he tends to end up on the bench as a utility who normally does not end up being needed. Due to a left back shortage he did end up in the Copa Libertadores final to close it out.

So if you look at the Season stats you might notice that I started him in the last game of the season. He did end with an absurd 4.33 XG Prevented per 90 on the season because of this one game, so if that's any glimpse of the future, he'll end up being very good. Or it's just one lucky game.

I don't know how much longer this save will go, since we have just the league portion left before it would be finished. There are some cracks in the squad that are starting to form, specifically certain players getting older and not having good replacements below them. And we are very susceptible to injury. A combination of injury and decline can prove to take an important player for the club and drop them to a level where they probably aren't worth playing anymore. On the positive front we are cash rich, the facilities have been majorly improved and we've started a link with a feeder team to possibly send some players on loan in the future.

Season 6 - 2028/29 - Vanarama National League

League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers

fAa4qPn.jpg

NtJHUKq.jpg

W3eZnrF.jpg

League - A tough first season in the National League, but we managed to steer clear from relegation for much of the season, starting off well picking up 19 points from the first 12 games which gave us some much needed breathing room as we hit some turbulent form between October and December. We were pretty patchy from there on until we had a bit of a purple patch in February and March to get us above 50 points which was my survival target at the start of the season. From there on out we were in pretty bad form and I rotated heavily to give some younger players game time so we perhaps finished lower than we could have but I was still happy to have survived quite comfortably in our first season. Our team is now close to 100% youth players with Yeomans being the only non-newgen still getting regular game time, and even he came from the youth academy, and I'll likely phase Hart, Cockerill-Mollett and Jones out over the next season.

Cup - A poor season in the cups this year as the games right in the middle of our poor form. We fell at the first hurdle in the FA Trophy, getting knocked out by VNN Halifax Town in what was a pretty disappointing performance. We did slightly better in the FA Cup, although we required a replay to get past Southport in the qualifying round. Barnsley away awaited in the first round and they were just too good for us, we couldn't get in the game at all and only got a consolation late on.

Youth Intake

Taylor Bonnevie [29A] - Andrew Connolly [29B] - Keith Curran [29C] - Evans Ackah [29D] - Nathan Watson [29E] - John Brooks [29F] - Jarrod Evitts [29G] - Jakob Lawley [29H] - Llion Williams [29I] - Markland Dennis [29J] - Sam Aldridge [29K] - Pat Brady [29L] - Haukur Már Ottesen [29M] - Danildo Nunes [29N]

What an intake! I've invested so much in youth facilities that YR and JC are both now at exceptional, which I believe is the highest they will go, plus the board upgraded our Youth Level to Level 3 over the summer, which has massively paid off with 14(!) 4.5-5 star potential players, although it's giving my finances a bit of a beating now. There's too many to go through, but Bonnevie is the pick of the bunch, and will likely go straight into the first team next season, whilst Connolly, Ackah, Watson, Brooks, Lawley and Ottesen all got some good game time at the end of the season, with Ottesen even becoming our youngest ever goalscorer at 15yrs 296ds, and will likely be squad players going forward. I was also happy to get some decent FBs again in this intake as Baker is still refusing a new contract, so will be free to leave in the summer, hopefully he'll stick around on a non-contract but we'll have to wait and see.

On the whole I'm really excited for this group.

  Mostrar conteúdo oculto

A year after winning this entire thing we heavily rotated the squad because fixture congestion is ridiculous in Brazil and we lost in the 3rd round, oh well.

  Ocultar conteúdo

Oh no, Palmeiras stole our uh, worst academy player. Anyways

ndc3s5s.png

Tagged Players Update

  Mostrar conteúdo oculto

Season 8 - 2029/30 - Vanarama National League

League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers

gdZTcX0.jpg

2JLMKS8.jpg

gpcTEzn.jpg

B1Q2vy0.jpg

League A fantastic season despite the mid table finish that had us in the top half for most of it, picking up 41 points in our first 28 games, only to pick up just 16 in the last 18 matches, but that still provided enough to secure Tamworth's highest ever finish! We changed things up this season, switching to a Narrow 433 to try to accomodate our best players, which saw the likes of Stefanowicz, McDonald and Jones slowly phased out as I began to rely more on players like Ottesen, Bonnevie and Handzic. Watson also progressed nicely this season and displaced Yeomans from the team, although I retrained him as a CB as he's a useful back up for the position, whilst I started to rotate Sang more with Brooks and Yeomans, with Robinson becoming the heart of the defence. We progressed nicely over the season, despite the downturn in form and I'm happy with how we're shaping up. The next goal now is a top half finish and hopefully professionalism so we can start developing our young talent a bit more.

Cup - Another disappointing showing in the FA Trophy, but at least we went out to Tranmere this year who went out in the semi-fianl and got to the playoff final too. In the FA Cup we had another trip to the fourth round, playing non-league teams up to the third round until we had the relegation threatened Hartlepool, who we took to a replay and beat in front of a sell out at the Lamb Ground. Brighton at the Amex was our reward in the fourth round, but like our last trip to the south coast, the attendance was at around 60% which meant the gate receipts were quite as lucrative as I would've liked, but it still bumped the coffers considerably.

Finances - As mentioned, the FA Cup run helped boost our finances, which was sorely needed after last year's half a million pound loss, I think I may have to just try to make the most of my intake for a few years and then consider scaling back the youth facilities. We did get a bump in our fans numbers, but we'll need to grow a bit more quickly to keep up with our facilities. Hopefully we can compete at the right end of the table and have a promotion run soon which can boost that further. However we are starting to be able to loan out players and even got a loan fee for Ben Hart, so we may be able to start profiting off some players soon or at least get some of the wage burden eased whilst also developing the young players.

Youth Intake

Aaron Baptiste [30A] - Aleksejs Morozs [30B] - Kyle Rivers [30C] - Adam Rowe [30D] - Gardner Blaney [30E] - Liam Edwards [30F] - Adriano Muzonho [30G] - Gerard Burke [30H] - Ben Warren [30I] - Nicky Rollo [30J] - Harry Cooling [30K] - Egzon Elezi [30L] - Ben Cervantes [30M]

Another great intake, although not many immediate first team candidates considering we have a fairly settled side now, although Muzonho having a bit of pace might make him useful now I'm playing with three strikers. Baptiste is the stand out and another candidate to be the long term succesor to Hart, and since Hart is starting to be difficult with contract negotiations, it may be time to try to cash in on him soon, so gettting players like Baptiste (and Warren) to go alongside Cook and Curran from previous intakes, I feel well stocked between the sticks so it may not be the worst thing in the world for Hart to move on. Quite  afew decent wingers in this intake which is typical as I've just stopped using them, so it may mean I look at switching back to a formation with wide players in a couple of years. I've tied down most players to contracts with extension clauses in now, but I'm starting to get interest from Championship and even a few Premier League clubs for these players, but no fees offered yet, but this may be the intake that starts to turn a profit for me.

i44jqC6.jpg

And now I'm caught up to the season I'm actually playing :D

Badak Lampung FC - Wikipedia bahasa Indonesia, ensiklopedia ...

Badak Lampung - Season Seven - End of Year Review

League - 3rd

Our best finish so far and we do look like we have taken a massive step up. We were the second best team going forward this season and we looked like we had a chance against any team we came across. We were actually in the title race, but went on a poor run where we only picked up 3 points in 5 games at the end of Feb/start of March. I am pretty confident that we can challenge for the title every season now, unless we have a few bad intakes in a row of course.

image.thumb.png.1cc2753a2504d5f80437eca0e4c81f58.png

image.thumb.png.b6db6bd0c656fc3d275a9ce5de2a6709.png

Indonesian Cup (3rd in a row)

We did it AGAIN!! The 3rd time in a row we get to the final and win it! Winning the first leg 3-2 really set us up for success, as our Home form has always been pretty good. Also Ismael Hardianto (YP04A) with 5 goals in the the two legs is a pretty incredible feat. This also means we will be in Continental competition yet again next season. Speaking of which...

image.thumb.png.66d1cb69aa47e78b5d7d5c0d81ff5ec4.png

image.thumb.png.8a2e99eac1e74cf3d388b4f3ea1cdb16.pngimage.thumb.png.479d05c6aa0f69c8a962781354df3054.png

Asian Confederations Cup - ASEAN Zone Final

This is one step below where we got to last year, where we got to the Interzone final (which is the real final of the competition). We played Johor DT who coincidentally also finished above us in the group stage (we went through as the best 2nd place team). It is a one game match (not two legs) for the ASEAN Zone Final and we played as well as Johor but they got through with a goal in Extra time. We did not really play well in what was a pretty close tense game. This is going to be the real challenge for this save, as this is just the 2nd level of the Asian Continental competition and we are still not as good as a few of the teams that appear at this level.

We did however get 217k for losing in this round, so that is the silver lining, as at this level (in this league) that is a huge amount of money.

image.thumb.png.309ed5db5823e0904bdcb2507a553cfa.png

The Squad

We now have one of the strongest squads in the league. With even some of our rotation/younger promising players going off to other League One sides and playing a lot of games. Only one legacy player (our GK) left and he played 56 games this season. He will be replaced in the coming years, but we have not had many strong GKs in our intakes so far. Ismael Hardianto (YP04A) has been fairly consistent with 37 goals in 46 starts and was top goalscorer in the Indonesian Cup with 10 goals in 10 games!
Bima Yulianto (YP04D) our best defender and first full Indonesian National is refusing to sign a new contract, so that is a big blow as this will be his last season with the club, with his contract expiring in June.

Budi Haryanto (YP06A) is one of our most promising youngsters and had a good season, although had a few injury problems, and being most natural as a Striker with Hardianto scoring for fun is a challenge. He has also been trained to play as a Mezzalla in the CM position, which he does to a relatively good standard.

image.thumb.png.bef0d3f9bea10f9c02ff77d4a6f42c43.png

Finances

We have a pretty healthy balance now that we have been winning the Indonesian Cup and been in continental competition. We are well under our wage budget and of course not using any of our transfer budget. Considering the highest transfers in the league are around 100k, we could theoretically buy 3 of the top players in the league with our balance.

Other News

Most importantly

The Indonesian League got an extra 2 places in the Asian Champions League! This is huge for this save and hopefully the other Indonesian clubs can do better than they have been doing and continue to improve the nations ranking!

I also came 2nd in Manager of the Year and started on a new coaching course.

End of Season Review

Season 2026/27

Sporting Club d'Escaldes

Sporting Club D'Escaldes Logo PNG Vector (CDR) Free Download

Season Summary

It was a solid if unspectacular first season in the second tier.

Season Details

League Table - By finishing secenth, we were comfortably clear of relegation.

League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Our form fell off a cliff after Christmas as we struggled to string some good performances together.

Friendlies - It was a mixed bag of results during pre season.

Squad - We are punching way above our weight.

Squad Dynamics - This could be better, though after such a poor run of form it is to be expected.

Transfers In - None.

Transfers Out - We lost our top scorer as he wanted to leave for a new club.

Youth Candidates - We do not have a youth academy so there was no intake this year.

Finances - Another small profit was made though we need a lot more to start an academy.

Key Players

Régis Guillet - Our best player was exceptional in the first half of the season before his form deserted him.

André Meireles - Whilst not finding the heights of last year, the right winger was good enough.

Alexandre Monteiro - It was another solid season in central midfield for the young Andorran.

Diego Vásquez - The left winger found his form from two years ago and once again became an automatic selection.

Cédric Millet - The centre half was one of our best defenders this year.

Next Season

I just want an improvement in our league position.

Basford survive with 2 games remaining.

Our season was a tough one. winning the least amount of games since i took over. The season was almost completely de-railed as my owners accepted an offer my star player Kenny Setford which dearly depleted us, the club also sold our most encouraging youngster Gabriel Gallet who could have become our best player. had this not been a youth academy challenge i would have resigned at this point. what makes this more frustrating is the owner is looking to step aside despite our success in recent years. The club struggles to stay above water financially. We had a decent intake and signed 15 year old New Zealander Justin Drost. he looks like another top prospect so this time i included a £20million release clause in the hope it would stop him being sold by the board. % of my intake who were out of loan have improved significantly over the season so they will be coming into the first team on return. Zayn Durose and Steve Kavanagh will be released and Farrend Hore will be sold to Stockport. Will be looking to sell 5 or 6 next season as i would like to completely rebuild at this point.

Brønshøj BK - Review Season 21

Disappointing season given what we were expected to achieve. We never were able to find consistent goals and it really sunk us accross all competitions. It's been 2 straight season now in which Johansen 13e has not scored more than 6 or averaged higher than a 6.70. Luckily, Fisker 19a will be able to pick up the slack. He's improved a lot, but just wasn't quite ready this season to make a big impact. He scored 7, averaged a 6.74, and will start next season. On the last day of the season, we beat Brondby to manage to sneak into the Champions League, but we will have to play the qualifying rounds again. I think so much squad rotation last season is what prevented us from finding a rythym on attack, so not looking forward to that. Also managed to lose the cup final for the second year running.

92cpUC.jpgJrjs0R.jpg

Given that we nearly missed the knockout phase alltogether, a run to the round of 16 is not too bad. Especially when you lose to the eventual winners in Man City. We've now been knocked out by them  3 of 4 years, and twice in the R16. Next season we really need to push to perform in the league phase and get those automatic spots into the R16 that avoid rough draws.

Kobenhavn had a great run in the Champions League, also losing in the R16, but finishing in the top 8 in the league phase.

Oghab Tehran Season Review (27/28)

League:

A 2nd season of mid table mediocrity. The positive is that some of our youngsters have overtaken some originals as best players. Despite an up and down season at some point we were just outside of the CL places. It's a league where everyone can beat everyone.

Intake:

A decent intake with lots of high potential players. We'll give them plenty of time to develop.

Finances and upgrades

No upgrades unfortunately. There's no price money, so my finances basically survive due to home games against Persepolis and Esteghial. I wish there was a way to get the attendance grow quicker.

Next season

It's a very competitive league, so we might find ourselves inside the first 4 spots without really trying to. The focus remains on developing our players.

Unfortunately, my laptop decided life was futile and decided to die, so I had to get another one. So I bought one that is too expensive, and way overkill for FM, but here we are. That means that my Luxembourg save is long gone, and I need to start a new one. As I don't really know where to go, I'm going to start a few saves and see if anything sticks before I post much here...

Season 9 - 2030/31 - Vanarama National League

League Table - Fixtures - Squad - Transfers

bT1HgA5.jpg

League - We are Football League! An amazing season, we started off well which gave me hope we could get into the playoffs, but everything just clicked around November as we went on a 21 game unbeaten run to put us right into the title challenge. We played some really good football and the 433 we're currently using is getting the most out of the players, especially upfront with Oliver and Pearce having fantastic seasons, whilst Ottesen became a useful battering ram as part of the front three. We also benefitted from a settled side with our starting XI now firmly entrenched, but also the back up players kicking on this season so that resting players often didn't cause a huge drop off in quality or performance. We're perhaps still a bit undercooked for League Two, but professionalisation will help massively in that regard. Matt Oliver became the first player to over 300 games and 100 goals for the club, and is fast approaching Daniel Creaney's goalscoring record of 115 goals, but still has a way to go to reach Yeomans' 400 appearances for the club, especially since he's still playing for us. We finally managed to tie down Baker to a new contract after having him for two years on a non-contract and seeing teams like Bolton and Swindon sniff around him, so hopefully we may be able to get some money for him if they are still interested over the next few years. This was the club's highest ever position, and first ever promotion to the Football League, which meant I got bumped up to icon status, and hopefully not too far from Legend

Cup - A disappointing season for the cups, although I suppose it allowed me to focus on the league a bit more this season. We did go a round further in the FA Trophy, but were knocked out on pens in the fourth round after a truly awful performance against relegation threatend Bath City, so we couldn't even match our best run in this competition in what is hopefully our last ever entry. In the FA Cup we got through the qualifying and first rounds fairly comfortably, but ended up away to Cambridge who were just too good for us in the second round.

Finances - No money spinning cup runs this season so we had a bit of a hit to our finances, which wasn't great considering that professionalisation will see us lose even more money next season. We are expanding the stadium to meet league requirements for next year, which should hopefully see some improved income, especially as we had a bump to our supporter numbers too and are projected to sell far more season tickets for next season, but the loan will add an extra £10k a month to our expenditure. We may need to seriously start considering either offering players out or scaling back the youth investment.

EDIT - Forgot to mention that I made my first player sale this season, Milosz Stefanowicz returned to Poland for £10k. With the move to a narrow 433 there was little room left for him and he didn't adapt well to CM, and he got upset at his lack of game time so I cashed in as much as I could before his contract ran out. A bit sad to let him go as he'd made 293 appearances for me and contributed 24 goals and 49 assists, only Oliver (110G/32A), Pearce (99G/32A) and Atkinson (41G/64A) have contributed more goals out of all my youth candidates.

Youth Intake

Alex Hailey [31A] - Kenniel Francis-Burrell [31B] - Jan Arne Skjeldestad [31C] - Richard George [31D] - Jordon Dundas [31E] - Brennan Dawkins [31F] - Jarrod Carter-Byrne [31G] - Michael Smith [31H]Sam Geary-Heaton [31I]

A decent intake, one I'd be very happy with if it wasn't for the huge talent pools we had the last couple of years. Hailey looks a decent prospect and adds a bit more pace (relatively) up front for us, and even scored 4 and assisted 1 in the 7 matches he played in this season, so I'm excited to see how he'll do next season. There's some pretty decent personalities across the board with a couple of exceptions, so I'm hopeful this batch can meet their potential. I like the look of Skjeldestad, Dawkins and Carter-Byrne, so we may get some more depth at the back out of this intake too.

My secondary aim for this challenge is to finally get a son on this game after 15+ years of playing, and we had two players called Smith in this year's intake, but neither were my son :( or even related for that matter.

Unfortunately, it seems the goalscoring woes of last season are still an issue. After 5 matches, we sit on 5 points and 9th in the league. We are top of the xG table however and are underpeforming our xG by 7 goals (in 5 games!),

It's frustrating and seemingly unfixable. What can you do when all your players can't finish chances. Defensively, we aren't struggling. We are keeping less of the ball than we used to, but it doesn't explain the complete lack of goals.

ZPVqR7.jpg

Started the season with a solid 0-0 draw away to Kobenhavn. I'll take this any day of the week, and am not too concerned about our lack of chances.

OQSdvG.jpg

Then the alarm bells start ringing at home to AGF when we escape 1-0 victors. This is a 3-0 or 4-0 win in years past and we were dominant with 67% of the ball and holding them to no shots on target.

24RGyI.jpg

Then a 1-0 defeat away to Nordsjaelland. This is a tough game, but we are clearly the better side and can't convert our clear cut chance, and have a goal disallowed. Johansen 13e puts in a 6.1 rating up top.

otGHCB.jpg

Then we sink even further with a 1-0 defeat again at home to Esbjerg. They did create a few chances with their limited amount of shots, so conceding the goal was deserved (although it was a longshot from a corner). But, we couldn't convert our 2 clear cut chances or the 2.63 xG into a single goal. Fisker 19a played this one up top and put in a 6.3.

UKW9dc.jpg

Same story in the next match as we squeeze out a 1-1 draw away to OB. We again put up >2 xG and 6 half chances but can't secure a win.

FM is a fickle beast, so I'm hoping our fortunes change at some point. We've been using this tactic with slight variations for decades and made it to the Champions League semi finals (with a worse strikers corps no less), so I'm sure it'll come around eventually.

League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were very inconsistent once again and found wins hard to come by.

Copa Constitució PROTECTVALL - A decent run as we made it to the quarter final before losing away to Carroi on penalties.

Squad Dynamics - This has improved somewhat.

Transfers In - None.

Transfers Out - None.

Youth Candidates - We do not have a youth academy so there was no intake this year.

Finances - We once again made a small profit though not enough for an academy.

Key Players

Régis Guillet - It was a very disappointing season from our central midfielder.

André Meireles - Playing on the right wing, he was poor and his commitment is somewhat lacking.

Iván García Fernández - The central defender was our best player this year by a country mile.

Iván Castillo - Our goalkeeper was a busy man.

Next Season

Another season free from relegation would be great.

Rather disappointingly, this save is over as I have realised I am not using the real league system.  There is no third tier in Andorra.  So will redo with the real league system which I have found.

BASFORD PROMOTED TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

It took until the final minute of the entire season but we did it. After almost being relegated in the previous season we were able to go on a 11 game unbeaten run to secure the playoffs and beat Swansea 2-1 thanks to Captain Dalton Willimont-Beazeley's 119th minute winner. A new owner came in and appears to be a tycoon although cant be sure but has invested heavly in facilities.  We moved into our new stadium but lost our first game there. Our best player was Mohamed Mohamed (yes thats his name) with a rating of 7.41 and our top scorer was Kaide Toney with 34. We Also won the Papa Johns Trophy.

Ditto on the dead laptop. I was doing great in season 4 too, got a takeover and everything :(

Back on track in the league, finishing second and 12 points clear of third. We drew Vikingur and we actually beat them one game out of a two-legged cup tie, but that's the best we can do.

Europe

A good campaign in which we drew favourably but not easy. Beating Trencin is a step in the right direction and not getting destroyed by Randers is another. Group stage has to be close.

Toftum started developing this season and seems to be a good goalkeeper for the forseeable future

Birni Wiberg was our best defender this season. His bad injury last season stunted his development somewhat but he's still a decent player for us.

Justinussen surprised me a bit as he made strides in his development this season, even earning himself a callup.

Andrias Hansen is such a good player, I'm annoyed that clubs from other leagues aren't coming in for our players. He is absolutely the one that should have a career overseas.

Gutti Wiberg has one more year on his contract and refuses to sign a new deal. I'm not looking forward to his departure.

Sorensen looks like a really good winger, although we weren't really lacking in his position.

Guttesen is someone we will need soon as our centre back options are stretching thin.

Transfers

Real money! Nielsen is a good player but was driven out by all the competition for places in midfield.

Other news:

WibergPOTS.JPG.96aa352afdcc6d779423c4dc87391152.JPG

Although we didn't even make the group stage last season, Gutti Wiberg got all the awards. POTS, YPOTS en Golden Boot. At 18.

A slight annoyance is that other nations don't notice our players at all. Stuff like this should at least attract the attention of some Norwegian or Danish clubs, but nothing happens on that front. I've seen Vikingur having a guy up front that scored 30+ goals for 10 seasons straight, leaving on a free transfer because he wanted to move somewhere bigger but no one came in.

You know that you can see tables from previous seasons? Go to your league --> overview --> stages --> and on the upper right you can switch between seasons :)

Thanks for the tip! I looked around a bit but couldn't find it before!

Aachen - Germany

bundesliga - 2052/53

Season Summary

League - Aachen's 2052/53 Bundesliga season started with promise, as they led the league after eight games. However, a disastrous spell followed, causing them to plummet as low as 8th in the standings. Thankfully, they managed to recover and put together a strong finish. Their unbeaten run in the last six matches secured a fourth-place finish, allowing them to qualify for the prestigious Champions League.

53leaguetable.JPG.fdd3dd0ac903c876c4dac5a9f6f92fb3.JPG

Champions League - Aachen's Champions League campaign in the 2052/53 season fell short of expectations. After a promising semi-final appearance the previous year, hopes were high to go even further. However, they struggled in the league phase and narrowly qualified for the knockout rounds. Their draw against Bayern proved to be challenging, as Bayern comprehensively outplayed Aachen over two legs, ultimately eliminating them from the competition. It was a disappointing outcome for Aachen in their pursuit of European glory.

Players

Pascal Meier 43A - Pascal Meier had an exceptional season, showcasing his superstar status. He secured his sixth consecutive Ballon d'Or, a remarkable achievement. Career

As we look ahead to the next season, we find ourselves at a transitional phase. Our original batch of wonderkids, who brought us so much success, are now entering their 30s. In order to ensure a smooth transition, we are placing a strong emphasis on bringing through our highly promising young talents. This might lead to a period of adjustment and development for the team over the next couple of seasons. However, we are optimistic about the potential of our rising stars and the long-term success they can bring to the club. It's an exciting time as we embark on this new chapter and build for the future.

My first big-ish sale of the save, Nathan Watson left on deadline day for Championship Swansea. £200k guaranteed with the possibility to rise to £425k with very achievable add-ons, plus 40% of his next sale and a friendly next summer which should bring in a further £30k-£40k. A tad disappointing as he developed into a key player for me last season and his ability at RB really helped my narrow formation work and added some needed width, so hopefully Evans Ackah can make the step up even though I just planned to use him as a backup this season.

Unfortunately, it seems the goalscoring woes of last season are still an issue. After 5 matches, we sit on 5 points and 9th in the league. We are top of the xG table however and are underpeforming our xG by 7 goals (in 5 games!),

BzcoaD.jpgNhlbw7.jpg

Things had been going better as of late until we dropped this stinker of a 1-1 draw, conceding to a former player no less.

That is awful.  Almost looks buggy

Maybe so, but on the flip side I don't see them ever being able to sell him for any high amount. He's worth that much but he's 27 now and has never hit double figures in either goals or assists in a season for Villa so can't see anyone wanting to pay so much money anytime soon.

Still would would have been nice to get a decent option for selling the clause

Ilkeston Town - Season 21 – Premier League– 8th

Transfers -- Squad -- League-- Key Player -- Hot Prospect

A big aim for this season was to improve on what was a woeful away record, to do this I decided to start playing a 5-2-1-2 formation away from home rather the 4-2-3-1 we were employing at home. It immediately bore fruit, in fact, our last season we managed 6 points all season away from home and we equalled that in 2 games this season including an impressive victory to the title holders Liverpool.

As well as improved away form we continued to perform well at home with most of the losses we were suffering coming against the teams who would ultimately go on to secure continental qualification. Our overall form was as such that we were flirting with continental qualification places for much of the season but we never quite bridged the gap to that 7th place and back to back losses to end the season made it look further away then perhaps it might have been. After reaching 8th place after game 16, we somehow did not move a single position for the rest of the season.

Youth Intake

image.png.d308eb0de2e9eff59b5a3d84ab77eef6.png

Given we were having a good season and we’d improved our facilities recently I was disappointed with the intake to not get a single elite talent coming through. The main positive was that the players with the highest potential were more defensive players which certainly is an area we welcome prospects most.

Phil Crosbie 21Actually has not terrible attributes for a defender although he is a little shorter than I would like. His personality isn’t the best but I think he can still potentially develop into a solid option for us.

Ashley Burke 21 Other than his much worse tackling, he’s not really too dissimilar to Crosbie, fairly decent attributes for his position that he can hopefully improve.

Overview

We’ve managed to improve our youth facilities alongside securing a decent number of overseas affiliates which will hopefully see our intake quality improve. Our stadium finished it’s final expansion and we’re in the process of looking to buy it, but ideally I think we would want a new, bigger stadium as we sell out every game.

Next season I will settle for survival, I do not think we would be able to replicate this season in terms of final league position but I hope we can at least replicate it via comfortable survival.

{Edit}
A few continues later and I guess based on who won each of the European Competitions, we've actually qualified for the Conference League next season.

image.png.a84cb05f916d55cafd4dcb69059a33fd.png

Key Players

Drew Clarke 14 – Clarke shone this season, easily his best for the club before his season was curtailed due to injury. 9 goals and 8 assists was a solid return for him though.

Patsy Bennett 12   Despite our overall better season, Bennett had a generally worse season 5 goals and 5 assists a little bit down on his last seasons contribution, but he was still one of the top performers in the team. Despite this, I can see him getting somewhat phased out the team in the next few seasons to accommodate high potential players coming through, regardless he will at the very least be a useful squad player.

Gary Joyce 10 Joyce had a pretty terrible start to the season, he didn’t have a goal to his name after 20 games but improved to finish the season with 8 to his name alongside his 5 assists. Hopefully next season he starts scoring earlier on and gets his best return in the Prem (currently 10 goals)

Basford survive but end poorly

Having been a rough season all round we did somehow secure survival with 4 games remaining which is a good thing as we lost all 4 of our last 4 games. Forced to sell Joe Lloyd as we put a £10m release clause thinking noone would match it, but after all month rejecting offers Norwich finally hit the mark and we couldnt stop him leaving. Instantly went and put bigger release clauses in our more promising players.

Dayle Taylor and Jerome Wright will be released this season. We are looking good for surivial next season despite a very poor Intake this season.
