Virtual Male
Wiener Sports Club Season 1-5 I've gotten a little carried away while working away from home with very little internet access over the past few weeks so there's a lot of catching-up to do, I'll try to keep it concise until I'm up to date. Club Introduction Manager Profile - Club Overview - Finances - Squad - Media Prediction Nothing noteworthy here, nice not to be predicted to be the worst team in the league though. 2023/24 League Table - Never any worries about going down season 1, didn't show any threat of challenging for more either. 10th place. Squad - No changes here because you cant register youth players until the following season. Hannes Kung is both a train wreck and my old CB who doesn't have constant fitness issues, so that's fun. Youth Intake(2nd Page) - 7 5* potential players!! Norbert Lanziner looks to be the best of them but its looking good! Transfers - None Finances - Looking quite good really. Helped by the fact we get gifted 409k every 9 games if we have 12 Austrian players in the match day squad. 2024/25 League Table - 8th place, so progress I suppose, even if it's barely visible. Squad - Forgot to grab a screen shot of it this year but not much has changed. Aaron Bosbach is the only player to make a significant contribution to the first team from last years intake. Hennes Kung has continued with his regular awful outings for us, worryingly he's apparently our best CB now.... Youth Intake (2nd Page) - 9 5* players this time and even a center back!! starting to think that all these high potential ratings is more to do with the squads lack of talent rather than the youth players being good. Transfers - Just a backup striker leaving to play amateur football. Finances - £1.8m in the bank, that free £1.2m a season is doing us wonders Other - I got my first badge after convincing the board it won't make me irresistible to other clubs. Training Facilities got upgraded to "average". Managed to start getting the board onside with this challenge as the agreed to upgrade both the junior coaching and youth recruitment twice so the junior coaching is now "exceptional" and youth recruitment is "Good" 2025/26 League Table - 7th, at this rate we'll be on for promotion any decade now! Squad - 4 regular starters are now through the academy, Bosbach is the best of them but now he wants to get off to a club that aren't named after a body part. Youth Intake (2nd Page) - 9 5* players, a regen from Afghanistan and another from Dominican Republic, the perfect intake?? Transfers - New club record sale of £1,000. Finances - Still in the black but maybe spending about 15x more on my youth setup than I do on player wages isn't ideal. Other - The board have really bought into the challenge with two further upgrades to the youth recruitment meaning that it's now as high as it can be too! The club went professional too, which is a massive step forwards, I'm just not thinking about how much more money we'll hemorrhage. I got my National C Badge too. 2026/27 League Table - Back down to 10th. Going to have to rethink something for next season. Squad - About half of the starting XI are youth now, which is nice. Kung is still a starter though and I hate every minute he gets to play. Youth Intake (2nd Page) - 10 5* players.... Surely we've got the best academy in Austria all ready, in the 2nd division too somehow. Transfers - Had to make some sales this year due to a mixture of just needing the money and players apparently not dreaming of staying the the Austrian 2nd tier for their whole career... Just selfish of them really. All the deals have a 50% of profit clause. Finances - It's started to look a bit not great but I'm fixing that by just not going onto the finance screen. Other - I got some more badges this season, up to a Continental B now. 2027/28 League Table - Champions!! Not sure how this happened at all really, lots of 1-0 wins and a lot of luck, can't complain though. Squad - Lots of youth getting regular minutes now but still haven't been brave enough to play a full XI of youth players. Clearly they are decent though since they've won the league! even Hennes Kung looked competent this year. Youth Intake (2nd Page) - Another 8 5* players this year!! worth noting that the vast majority from previous years are down to the 3 1/2* potential range so still no idea how good any of these actually are. Transfers - A couple of players out again after they kicked up a fuss. Again, 50% profit clauses included. Finances - The money from playing Austrian players has saved us from it looking really really bad this year, might have some more sales on the cards over the summer depending on what the money in the top division looks like Other - Finished off my coaching badges, the board just seem to agree with anything I ask at this point. Even when we're £800k in the red. Really not sure what to even think about going to play the big boys next year, we don't have the money or really the player to compete. To add some context here is the wage spend top spend 50 times more than us on wages, even the team directly above us spends 3x what we do. It's going to be tough. RB Salzberg spent £100m in the transfer market over the summer too!! Edited August 25, 2023 by Virtual Male

You’ve done like 3 seasons in the time I haven’t finished one! Yeah man! This week is an exception with how much Ive played. I don't know about you but 100 degree temperatures outside means I'm indoors in the AC and that means lots of time to use the laptop. Plus I feel less guilty "playing" in excel hence why I've been upgrading spreadsheets. Caribbean saves go fast with holidaying + instant results for games I know I'll smash the opposition. I only manage the matches against the other top teams and all cup gsmes. Barbados season is March- start of June with 22 games. After that I holiday till end of July for the intake, then to August 20th for all the new contracts to activate. Longest part is from then where its a slow watch for 2-3 months to keep teams from poaching my players before I can lock in another future contract. XaW
6 hours ago, Levitatee said: @darren1983 @XaW Looking to do a Japan one starting from the J2 League on a custom database, would that be eligible or not? What tier should the start of the save be in custom databases? DB goes down to 5th tier. If it is created as closely to real life as possible, then that should be fine. However, you need to start as a newly promoted team into the lowest playable league. If there is no relegation from the lowest tier, like tier 5, then holiday for a season and take over the team that finished bottom. The general rule of thumb is that we want real leagues, so no fantasy versions or super leagues, but as close to real life as possible. The reason we don't say identical is because lower leagues in obscure places often have teams created and folding many times per season, and FM don't cater to that. So an approximation is good enough, but in good faith of course. Then we usually demand the team has to be promoted into the lowest playable tier to fit the "previously unplayable" idea. However, for custom leagues with tiers going far down into amateur territory, we've accepted that not all leagues have relegation and promotion at that tier, so just take the worst one, ie the one that finished the holiday season on the bottom. From those ideas, we kind of trust everyone who competes to make their best judgement calls, as we can't download and check everything, neither do we want to police things. So if you think that custom database fits into what I said, then go for it.

Sn00gle
Kotwica Kołobrzeg - 2044/45 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers Just quick update as I played this season very long time. We got decent run in Chapions League where we lost to Manchester City in Quarter Finals. As a mistake I played wrong tactic with Wisła Kraków in Polish Cup where we lost to them 1-2 and we got down in just 2nd round of Cup. To the injuries and some bad luck we lost lead in league at the end of the season and we lost Champions League spot to the winners Legia and we got betten by Lech as well with 1 point. So next season we got in European League, hope we will get to the Semi at last. Hard part of this would be to hold the players in team. At this point I think it's almost impossible to get this challenge in Poland cause of the intake players that are produced. But let's try next season :) Poor intake with only Nowakowski as a potential first team player. However Jahn (idk why this guy is not foreign, not typical Polish name) looks decent, maybe he will be able to turn in something good. N.E.C connections looks good another player from them. Levitatee
MFK Vítkovice Why? Essentially it came down to 3 teams:Viktoria Zizkov, who also play in the Czech 2nd Tier and are based in Prague: I decided not to choose them because I saw 2 different Users already using them so I went against the ideaSC Bischofshofen of Austrias 2nd Tier, which would have been a very interesting safe as it is a Club based in a city of 10000 in the alps which is fully focussed around wintersports so it would be a real challenge, but as it is my first try at this challenge I deemed this too difficult leaving me with MFK Vítkovice, with one of the cutest badges I have seen in the entire game with the goal of becoming the best team in Ostrava and overtaking FC Baník Ostrava as the big youth recruitment hub in the region.Manager / Squad / Facilities / Season Preview / Finances this is my first save of this kind so any feedback is highly appreciated! My next goals should be to stay afloat in the 2nd tier and try to upgrade my youth facilities as often as possible, so I will try my hardest to do that! jstu9
Tecos Fútbol Club After doing a Journeyman save where I started with the lowest badges and ended up winning my very first Premier League and Champions League. My adventures through Indonesia, Colombia, Brasil and finally ending with Arsenal in England (ok there were a few detours here and there including stints with Azerbaijan, Nigeria and France). I figured I might get back to this challenge. I've tried it a couple (few?) times and I've usually done pretty well but ended up getting bored or losing interest so I have never completed it. In truth I don't even see how its possible to do, lol. Still I try. So off I go to Mexico! I had the choice between Tecos and Colima FC. Tecos had the better facilities, they are at Average, Adequate, Average and Average, so I went with them. And I don't forsee improving any of those before I get into Liga MX. We start in the Mexican Expansion League (MEL) which is the 2nd tier of Mexico. There is an opening and closing stage. The top 12 teams (out of 20) compete for the stage title. Then the winners of the opening and the closing stage battle it out at the end of the season in the "EL Champions Trophy" which determines who gets promoted to Liga MX. No Cup at this level. Then relegation (in both Liga MX and the MEL) is based on average points over the past 3 seasons. As you will see poor Colima FC who came up with me got relegated even though they didn't finish last in either stage. But they had the lowest average points over the past 3 seasons (well just 1 for them). I guess it protects a team from having just one horrible season from getting relegated. There are 3 teams that cannot be relegated (Pumas, Raya2 and Tapatio - I think they are B teams but haven't verified that) Opening Stage: We struggled early, we were near the bottom of the table. But we finished strong, going 3-3-0 in our last six taking us to a finish of 13th. Then we pretty much kept winning in the Closing Stage. We were at or near the top of the standings the entire closing stage. We won our first 6 games, so ended up with a 12 game unbeaten run between the stages. How we won, I have no idea. I suspect a combination of luck, trying to keep morale high, tactical familiarity and squad rotation. But I don't think we are that good. But finishing first is pretty cool. In the end, finishing first doesn't really mean much. The top 4 get a bye for the round of 16. I won my QF games against Dorados but fell to Alebrijes in the SF (2-4 A, 2-2 H). Alebrijes won the closing stage and then beat Atlante for promotion. Puebla got relegated from Liga MX. Alebrijes finished 11th and 7th in the 2 stages, so yeah only the playoffs really matter. Here are the superstars. I tried to give some playing time to the youngsters but for the most part went with the veteran crew. The problem is I had plenty of players who had "slight concerns" and "considering my options." So I've already lost a number of players, mainly backups. Then of course the Board in their infinite wisdom accepted a couple of bids on a couple key players. So we got maybe $20k for guys I can't replace. (And I can give a spoiler for Season 2, our top 3 central defenders - Teran, Rodriguez and Basalda - are all gone for the reasons I just stated (we're screwed). We are $$ poor, looking at our finances, we seem to generate about $1M in revenue. Our salaries themselves amount to almost $2M a year. Add another $1M for everything else so yeah, I don't think I'll be updating any facilities anytime soon. We have 2 affiliates. I think I'll be using Tecos III to send players out on loan. I'll try to figure out if this is the best way to do this. I'm not sure if it is best to keep them in my U20's or loan them out. That is something I will try to solve over the next several season. I think I might keep them in house until they are 17 or 18 and then loan them for a season or two but we'll see (they need to be 17 to go to Tecos III). Youth pull was March 15th but I couldn't register any of them so some of them will make their debuts in Season 2. But this group looks pretty good. Hopefully they can develop.
The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Review Season 24 24th season in the books. First time ever we've won back-to-back titles, and we made it to the QF of the Champions League this year after a few R16 exits. Still have yet to bridge that final gap into having the quality to compete for the title. League looks closer than it was since we secured the title with 3 matches to go, then picked up 1 point out of a possible 9. It unfortunately looks like Egeris Paarup 13c is content running down his contract that expires at the end of next season. I'll keep him around since we don't need the money. Thankfully, we are deepest in the midfield spots, so we'll be able to replace him. Always had all the quality in the world, but he was always injury prone and lacking fitness and really needed to be managed, which hurt his performances. Right now, Fisker 19a still has 1.5 years left on his deal, but refuses to budge on a release clause of $110M. It seems like a lot, but I'm confident clubs would trigger it right away. We'll only end up signing that contract if he still won't budge near the end of next season. Would like to finish in that top 8 of the league phase next season, and truly feel like we belong. Losing out on head to head performance hurts. Key players: Spoiler We cut ties with some of our deadweight affiliates, since we now have a high enough repuation to upgrade the quality of our affiliates. For example, a link with Sochaux should pay dividends in the future if we get higher quality French players through our intakes. Nothing in. A few out.

aldojags
Season 3 (25/26) Table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers | Club Vision | Coaching Attributes Comfortable enough season, in that the board asked me to attempt to avoid relegation, and I was never under any threat of it, won enough games regular to always stay a good few points ahead. Never anywhere near the top end of the league however, way too inconsistent and lose too many goals/games. Took a lot of heavy beatings as you'll see with my goal difference, our centre backs are by far the weakest link in the team, thinking of moving to a back 3/5 as it's just hard to watch at times, with how easy we are to score against. Finances a mess, I'm well within my wage budget, but just losing money hand over fist every month. Wage budget has been slashed by 5k per week from 20k to 15k per week, still comfortably under it as a few of our higher earners retired/moved on. Can't get any facilities increased with the money as it is, pretty grim :-( They keep sending me on coaching badges now, I finished continental a license shortly after the above screen shot was taken so I actually have better attributes than this now! Youth Intake Preview | Intake Day 2 3 | Personalities Not saying much but probably the best intake I've had in the 3 years I've been here. Frustratingly, for the 2nd season in a row, my best prospect is a GK, and in my first team my highest rated player is a 32 year old keeper, so there's no immediate need for a GK, but I spose it doesn't hurt to have a good reserve kicking around the place. Like the like of this guy, Maxime Bell, he's going to get minutes right away either off the left, in number 10 role when I use it. I have a tough time getting players with even remotely average physicals and mentals, so once he picks up technically, he'll one of my best players. Remy Boyer Angel Fayet - due to the shortage of serviceable centre backs, he'll get game time. Youth Prospects getting first team action Allan Favreau - 2nd season with us, 2 footed, great personality, yet to show anything decent however, lot of low ratings, doesn't help he's trying to develop in a team that's being pumped every week! Rafik Belaribi - 2nd or 3rd season - highly rated, but again, playing in defence of a poor team, has meant he has not really developed how I want. Gerard Ardouin - defensive midfielder, has looked ok in the match engine. Alain Tournier - probably best youth prospect to come through so far. Got 4 goals and got some decent (for us) ratings. Next Season Media prediction has us bottom. I think we'll have a tough year, but I'm confident we won't go down. Will not trouble the top of the league, not good enough, I don't know what shape & personnel suits us best.

jstu9
I just finished Season 2. I lost my top 3 center backs last season to the Board, wanting other challenges, not wanting to sign etc. I had one youngster that was progressing well though. In this 2nd season he blossomed, one of the best players at the team. Pretty much the player that had *any* value at the club. He was valued at the max range of 700k, which is literally 10 times more than the rest of my team combined probably. I get a lowball offer from someone. Like 48k with clauses that might push it to 300k iirc. He complains, he wants to leave. I agree I'll sell him at $1.1M. I figure no one will go that high but if they do, I have $1.1M. The &%$# Board. One, only $525k???? He's worth double that you morons. Two, not a single % of next sale clause. Grrrrrr. Why this board is this idiotic and trying to actively sabotage this team, I don't know. I protest the sale, of course none of the options are what I want to say. My defense was abysmal last season. I have one other guy who I have hope for and a couple 15yo that are so far away to not even consider at this point. So, I now have no defense (of course I guess the Board doesn't know this is a Youth Academy save...). We get peanuts for the guy and with no clauses that will pay us out in the future. Sorry, had to vent.
jstu9
In regards to the last post, the team that bought Gimenez offered to loan him back. I eagerly and excitedly agreed to getting my best player back. Until the realization hit me. I can't take him back, can I? That's against the rules, right? Or can I use him since he hasn't really left the club, he just basically have a future transfer agreed? I'm confused. Will I have to try to stop the loan back? Or cancel it? Or just throw him in the Reserves? Or can I use him?

Your best bet is to try to cancel the loan back. If it is not possible I think you have to leave him on the reserve team
Johnny Ace
Season 24/25 Port Talbot We did alright and managed to compete, I started out with 11 players and two of which being goalkeepers, so I had a mixture of grey players playing left back for the season and coming in for any injuries The preview was looking good Which was a God send as we needed bodies filling the first and U19 teams Facilities are the pits and no cash to upgrade anything, we're semi-pro so cash is hard to come by, we'll have to keep ploughing on

jstu9
Tecos Fútbol Club (formerly Club de Fútbol Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara) Season 2, 24/25 I was wondering why our abbreviation in the game was UAG instead of maybe TEC. I guess we were called the above before. This was a long dredge of a season. I basically have one "veteran" at each position now, with all youth backups, and unfortunately some of those backups are not exactly the cream of the crop. With the notable exception of center back where everyone is gone. I have a 17yo (ok had if you read above) who played a little bit in the 1st season (and even had a hat trick of goals from corners in one game - in both season 1 and 2) but he improved dramatically in the 2nd season, going from a 2-star backup level player to probably the best player on the team. 4-stars. That would be Martin Gimenez. I started a 16yo youth pull next to him. He looks to have improved but not as by much, that would be Christian Pineda who is 2 stars now. And if you read a few posts above this, I lost Gimenez in the offseason before Season 3, so back to 15-16yo youth pulls in defense. I do have a number of good lucking prospects at almost every position. I'm hoping Gustavo Ramos can take over at right back. I have a couple good young DM's in Erick Espinosa and Juan Gomez. Victor Morales at right wing. Luis Aguiler at AMC. Juan Jose Moreno at striker. And I think there are potentially 2 good strikers on the horizon with Diego Alonso Gurrola and Jose Eugenio Cendejas. Hopefully they all keep developing and getting alot of fiorst team minutes soon. The Board offered me a B team which I accepted. In retrospect I'm not sure I need it. But I think what I will do is keep youngsters in the U20's for their first year or two, give them a game or two when I'm up or down big. Then send them off to Tecos III on loan for a season or two until they are ready for the first team. The players I have sent to Tecos III the past 2 seasons seem to have developed some while the players I sent to the B team didn't do a whole lot. So I think I will send the guys I don't have high hopes for to the B team. You know, the guys with m's and o's at the end of their name (i.e 25o, 24p). We'll see if that works. So yeah a pretty miserable season. 15th and 18th in the two stages. Not really a whole lot to report really. Note the valuation of Gimenez compared to everyone else. lol. I've gotten rid of or the players have left of most of the big contracts that I had. We had multiple guys on contracts around 4k a week. Now, only Lopez is left. I have cut our payroll in by at least half in the 2 seasons. Another solid looking GK, Cendejas I have already mentioned. And a few others that have some potential. Collard, in all of his 1/2 star glory is now a starter. He is 6'4" though with 15 Jumping Reach so I bet he is a corner machine. So that might save me. Training facilities dipped. I really need to get to Liga MX. The only problem with that is the team that promoted in S1, got relegated from Liga MX in S2.
Novafluff
Season Review 2028 Table | Transfers | Finance | Facilities | Youth Intake We continued on last years terrific ending. It took until the 10th gameweek before we lost a game. But there were us and 2 more teams who where a level above the rest so the fight for top two where fierce throughout the season. We had an important game in the second last matchday when we were 2nd and playing 3rd Eskilsminne which where on the same points as us. Right before the game we got our youth intake and we finally got what we wanted! A striker and a central defender. Only the striker Tobias Jonsson had time to sign before the game and he went straight into the starting eleven. The result? A 3-1 win which took us into first, and for Tobias? A hattrick scoring all the goals himself. We den won the last game as well and we are going up! The future with this intake looks bright, but i know that the next tier we will need to fight to survive! Novafluff
Season Review 2029 Table | Transfers | Finance | Facilities | Youth Intake We had an fantastic start winning the first three games big and Tobias Jonsson scored for fun! But we had some bad run of form during the season so we ended up being a stable mid team, which before the season i would take anyday! Tobias Jonsson got injured for two months in the middle so we would most likely have gained a few positions if he kept healthy. An okay youth intake where we get a striker that will take the place next to Jonsson as his partner is retiring. _JHTB_
Ilkeston Town - Season 25 – Premier League–3rd Transfers -- Squad -- League-- Key Player -- Hot Prospect League: We’re not great starters in the league, even more so this season as we were very inconsistent to start the season. 7 losses in our opening 13 games as we found ourselves many points behind. In our poor start we made our first change to our starting goalkeeper in 17 seasons as long standing Darren Kerr 7 started the season poorly. The change in goalkeeper looked to have a very positive effect as we had an incredible rest of season, as after the opening 13 games we conceded a miserly 12 for the remainder of the season and only 1 loss before the end of the season. This improved form did give us an outside shot of the title, but ultimately a little bit poorer end to the season – and the deficit we had to make up, meant that we had to settle for 3rd. Europe: Our first foray into the Champions League saw us perform very well in the group stage, we did lose once although we were the better team in that game, but comfortably qualified in the top 8 and automatic qualification for the round of 16. Of course we were drawn against the team that had beaten us in the group stage, but again we were the better team in both legs though on scoreline we did only scrape through. An all English affair awaited us in the Quarter Final as we faced Manchester City. The first leg was a tie that lacked discipline as it ended 9 for Man City vs 10 for us. Thankfully, we just about took advantage of our man advantage to lead 1-0 in the first leg. The second leg was a lot more entertaining on the goals front as there as the overall lead of the tie changed on a few occasions ultimately after a 114th minute goal for us went to penalties. Unfortunately, we immediately put ourselves on the back foot by missing our first penalty, and though it did eventually go to sudden death we lost and were out. Youth Intake An ok intake, a few players who look like they could be reasonable for us in the future even if they are missing the top, top potential. Harry Wright 25 – He’s naturally a striker, but he be used as more of a playmaker as his attributes are much more suited to that role. His personality is not the most ideal but I’m still hopeful he can be a first team player in the future. Daniel McCarthy 25 – An interesting player, in that I’m not really sure which position he’d be best suited to as he has some ability to play all through the middle or maybe even as wing back. I’ll just let him develop to start with and evaluate I guess based on where he shows improvement most, though I am training him as a central defender in the interim. Rob Farrell 25 – Farrell I’m actually quite happy with, he looks to have some pretty good attributes for left fullback role which is a position we don’t have a huge amount of depth. He also has a good personality which should hopefully help his progression. Overview Yet again, we are unable to request for improved youth facilities which is a disappointment. Our move to our new stadium was also delayed until a few months into the season, but we have already agreed to expand the capacity even more as we are consistently selling out. We also managed to win our first domestic competition this season as we won the League Cup. Next season, the aim is to do better in the Champions League whilst maintaining a good enough position in the league to qualify for it again. I may start to integrate some more younger players into the squad as we are aging a little in some areas on the pitch. Key Players Garry Joyce 10 – Joyce seems to just be getting better with age, 15 goals and 20 assists in all competitions is very good. He’ll likely start to decline in the next few seasons, however, as long as he performs as he does the better it is for us. Lee Redmond 19 – Our new goalkeeper, after our poor start to the season he forced his way as first choice and had a fantastic time of it. 18 clean sheets in the league is very good showing and a key part of our form this season. Tariq Caton 20 – Caton missed the start of the season following his broken leg at the end of last season. He still managed to positively impact our season although he was a little less prolific overall than last time. 36 in all competitions but he did win every award he could.
Johnny Ace
Season 24-25 Port Talbot We did the double! We were pushed to the end for the league, I thought we'd chucked it on the final day but Llantwit Major lost and blew their chances!! We lost our main striker Damien Ketley, I couldn't afford to pay him what he wanted so he went on a free, Josh Abraham managed to take his place and scored 32 in 29 league games. We also lost the only left back we had (the kid from the intake last season) as he was offered a contract by Carmarthen U-19s on deadline day and I couldn't counter offer quick enough. So young left winger Charlie Richards has had to fill in Spoiler Preview was alright Some useful players, Jones can step straight in at AM but the personalities are pretty shoddy. I've looked at changing up the HOY but I can't get any better than him, Attribute or Personality wise Don't think I've posted my profile yet but I managed to get a badge in Spoiler I thought TNS were the Welsh end boss but Cardiff Met Uni who won the Cymru south in 23/24 went on and won the Cymru Premier in their first season
Virtual Male
Weiner Sport-Club 2028/29 League - Media Prediction - The league splits into a champions and relegation stage after 22 games, We started the season exactly how you would expect a team predicted to be run away losers to with only picking up 4 wins before the new year. That left us heading into the relegation half of the split and I wasn't feeling that optimistic if I'm honest. However, just before the split Florian Heimann decided he quite liked scoring goals and bagged 14 in the last 16 league games (including 5 in a 8-0 win against SV Ried). We walked the relegation stage if I'm honest, which was a little surprising, and that left us in a European play-off where we had to play SV Ried before the winner would play FK Austria Vienna. We beat SV Ried but needed extra time to do it, the never really threatened and it never looked like they'd win the game. The final was played over 2 legs, the first leg finished 1-1 meaning we had to win the home game to qualify. Luckily it didn't feel like Austria Vienna turned up to that game and we managed to grab a 2-1 win meaning that we'll be playing in the Europa Conference League qualifiers next season. Squad - Only a few of the original players are still hanging around now and I can see them having all gone in the next season or two unless I decide to keep a couple knocking around so the squad doesn't end up being too young. Key Players - Paul Daun - I wasn't that bothered about this guy when he came trough but he ended up starting the season due to an injury to Haas and never left the team after that. I think it'll be a real struggle to keep hold of this guy but if he goes it'll be for a decent amount at least. Our first player to make the NXGN50 list coming in at number 28. Florian Heinmann - He was always going to get game time this season but wasn't looking to be making the most of it until just before the league split. After that he didn't stop scoring, ending the season as the leagues top scorer. Youth Intake (2nd page) - Another good intake with quite a mix of positions coming through. Dominik Danneberg looks like he could be the pick of the bunch. Transfers - Two big sales this season Tomazic kicked up a fuss when Porto came in for him so I couldn't turn down £2.5m when they came back for him. Schubert told me he would be considering his options when his contract finished at the end of the following season so I had to cash in on him too, off to HSV he went for a deal that could be worth up to £3.4m Finances - Not Great! despite £3.6m in player sales the club was still losing a huge amount every month, interestingly promotion has actually cost the club about £1.4m a season since we now don't get out free money every 9 games. Hopefully some European football can give us a few quid, or if not put a couple of players in the shop window. Other - I completed my last coaching badge and we were comfortably the team with the worst disciple in the leagues history, which I'm quite proud of. The backroom staff have had an overhaul over the summer. Ole came in as my number 2, Michael Carrick, Michael Duff and Alex Bruce joined Martin Skrtel in the coaching team, Aleksander Kolarov came in as my Director of Football and Arda Turan to manage the U18's I'm just looking to survive in the league again next season and if we can even make it past one of the European qualifying rounds I'll be thrilled. Johnny Ace
Season 2025/26 Port Talbot We made the semis of the Welsh cup and ended up having to play Haverfordwest in a EURO qualifier playoff, it may have been because we won the bottom half of the the league, I don't know, we lost anyway TNS managed by the one and only Kevin Phillips reclaimed the title It was a really good season considering we were priced at 2000-1 to win the league, we were by far the favourites for relegation. My HOY is on a rolling contract but here in Wales, I can't seem to find better than Balanced personalities which is a bit of lottery Good Job man! Wish you the best and follow with interest. If you drop some tactical pieces I'm eager to bite on them.

Traldon
Season 6 Review Aachen League Table: We bottled the playoff chance in the last 2 games, but still a positive season, hopefully next year we can push for that playoff spot. In the cup we lost in the Second Round for the fourth time in the row, this time against Bayern. This year we only one new starter compared to last year and I'm fairly happy about my team, apart from right back and keeper: Transfer Screen:
Johnny Ace
This save is going down the pan, getting this every game Every player report is like this: Players can't be bothered to train, they can't be bothered to play, don't know if I can be bothered enough to mange them for much longer, it's miserable
Virtual Male
Wiener Sport-Club 2029/30 Competitions Admiral Bundesliga - Fixtures (2nd screen) - We carried the form from the end of last season into this one winning our first 5 games. We continued to hold our own and were sat 3rd when the league split, meaning it was the Championship split for us this year, The wheels came off after the split and we only picked up 6 points from 30 available. Luckily our good first half of the season managed to keep us clear of dropping out of European places leaving us playing Europa Conference League football again next season, entering in the 3rd Qualifying round (I think) Austrian FA Cup - Fixtures - Second round exit UEFA Europa Conference League - Fixtures - Went about as well as could be expected really, just about scrapped through against Sligo before drawing Roma who didn't need to break a sweat to send us packing. Squad - Everyone was just sort of there this season, nothing exceptional. Only 2 regular players averaged over a 7.0 and even that was only by .02. One thing that I've seen this season which has me worried is that if Heimann doesn't score, we don't score. He ended our top scorer with 21 in all competitions, our next highest scorer had 4..... Key Players Florian Heimann (25 YP4) - Did the heavy lifting with goals this year again, feels like he's either going to score a hattrick or got a 6.0 every time he plays though. Hopefully with the team developing around him he can get a little more help next season. Róbert Svec (27YP10) - Came into the senior team due to an injury and has flourished, the numbers weren't really there for him this year but he's grown an incredible amount as a player over the season and I expect him to carry on. Youth Intake (2nd Screen) - I'm genuinely starting to think I've either broken something. Another intake with a huge number of elite talents! 10 this year, my favourite being Luis Morfoot (30YP3) just because he's English and hopefully I can get a big fee for him if he turns out to be as good as my staff think he could be. Transfers - Paul Daun (27YP2) - Not long after the season started he let me know he was considering his options and his contract only had 18 months left to run so it made sense to cash in. When I offered him out about a dozen teams were interested and after a bit of negotiating Galatasaray had the best bid, signing Duan for a deal worth up to £15m with a sell on clause too. Finances - The money from the Daun deal has done wonders for the bank balance. Looking to reinvest it into the facilities. Other - On the back of getting some money in I managed to get some upgrades to both the Training and Youth facilities. The initial upgrade to the Youth facilities were completed by the end of the season and the board were feeling helpful so they agreed to a second upgrade of the season. I'm hoping for more of the same from the squad next season, I'm targeting a top half finish again and I'll put a real focus on getting rid of the release clauses in a few contracts since they could come back to bite me now.
Virtual Male
@Traldon Looks like all you need is a bit of luck and you'll be making it into the top 3!! Some decent kids coming through too so hopefully that'll be your keeper problems solved. @Johnny Ace I tried a similar challenge in the Welsh leagues a few years ago and it's a real grind getting going. Luckily you only really need 2 or 3 half decent players to be able to give TNS a run for the league and get a little bit of money from the European qualifying rounds.

Sure is a grind but we're looking at relegation rather than Europe

Part time training doesn't offer much in the way of development in my experience too unfortunately.
