Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 5 - Mid Year Review & Youth Intake Preview Predicted to finish last, but we were determined to make sure that did not happen. I bought in a new HOYD as my last two intakes were not my favorite. Hoping that the Fairly Professional personality works out and liked that his 4-3-3 formation is pretty much what we play. We also got an Upgrade to our Youth Facilities, which should also help to continually improve our young players. Jamie Herd (YP01A) - Was on fire during the first half of the season. He has steadily improved in his attributes and his performances on the pitch and is looking like a Key Player for us now. Although his personality did change from Model Citizen to Light-Hearted which is frustrating. Current League Position - 5th - We are at the exact half way point of the season. 23 games played. If we keep this up we could end up in the playoffs in our first year up. We have a large amount of youth players though so I am not sure if we can carry this momentum all the way through, we have had a LOT of close games and definitely some lucky wins along the way. Youth Intake Preview Looks better than last year, however we still are mostly in need of CBs and CMs which we don't seem to be getting much of. Hopefully we will get a full back that can be trained as a CB or a Winger who can be trained as a CM. Edited May 10, 2022 by glennuk

Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2040-2041 Vanarama National League We did so well in our first season in the VN, but a harsh loss against Walsall in the first playoff round keeps us here for another year. 3 promotions in 3 years would've been something, but I'm not sure the squad has the depth to play in L2 just yet. Transfers Loans only Squad Of course Molloy and Mbiyavanga-Domo were instrumental again. Jack Ray had a good debut season. Youth intake With clubs pulling on Martin, this intake with Bassett is very welcome. I managed to sign him for the next 3 seasons so I'll at least have him for 2 years after which he'll obviously be pulled away. McGinty and Diakiese are very useful additions as we lack depth in midfield. Davison is perfect as a natural PF, but I need to get that personality off him. Furthermore, the U18s will now be coached by someone their age. Marongs attributes and personality are actually great for this level and I hope his age will make sure he won't be poached for a non-league manager role anytime soon. I might even try to get him to be our HOYD in due time.
Popular Post Makoto Nakamura
2037/38 End of Season Review A 45 game season and we somehow manage to finish with the exact same amount of goals scored and conceded as last season! In the Champions League we had absolutely no chance of getting past two Mexican sides whilst we were drawn in a group of death in the CFU Club Championship against AS Capoise who've won the competition in 2029 & 2031, finished runners up in 2028 and were 3rd in 2019 & 2032 as well as Waterhouse who've won the competition in 2014, 2021, 2022 & 2033, finished runners up in 2019 & 2023 and finished 3rd in 2030 so with us qualifying for the quarter final we've also managed to take out two serious competitors for the trophy! Popular Post SuperRedditch
The Spartans Season 3 - 2024/25 League One - 6th Place Mid-table mediocrity, always a few points off the play-offs but never able to put together enough form to threaten them - not that we deserved to go up or are good enough anyway. Not much to say really, I moved on a lot of the older "original" squad to make room for the youngsters, which resulted in an awkward start to the season that got better after Christmas. Flip-flopped between a 4-4-2 and a 4-3-3, and still can't decide. I have a tendency to try and revert to things I knew worked in previous saves - but those were managing better teams with better players. Going to take some time to redesign a new tactic for the new season; from the ground up. We made the Semi-Final of the Challenge Cup, but as Championship clubs play in that too, we got destroyed 2-5 by Inverness. The prize money (for all competitions) is a pittance, though. Any repeat of last year's Scottish Cup run, including drawing Rangers away for a nice payday, were cut tragically short as we got knocked out by non-league Clachnacuddin. Embarrassing. The Key Men Kevin Waugh - DC - Assist leader at centre-back! He takes set-pieces. If anyone used to play PES and remembers Jaric, the DC in the Master League Original Squad, this is him. Jamie Viola 02a - ST - Top scorer but primarily from corners. Struggles in open play. James McCutcheon 00a - DC - Wanted to leave at the start of the season and wouldn't discuss a contract, but managed to tie him down in the new year. Captain. Transfers Finances Youth Intake Two full-backs was amazing. I hoped for one on each flank and the FM gods duly delivered. After the preview I was saddened to see an E ranking for CM, but two came through who went into the first team. In fact, from this intake alone FIVE players immediately went into the first XI. Much better personalities thanks to my new Model Citizen HoYD. Zach Szemis 03b - GK - 1* better CA than my current GK, who was okay. Bad Aerial Reach but I can't do a thing about it. Darren Cordery 03a - DL - Look at him! Just a really, really solid DL with no glaring weaknesses. Best Youth Product I've ever had in terms CA star level. Next Season Play football matches. Win some, lose some, draw some. Get knocked out of cups. Lose money. Not turn professional. Tinker with tactic too much. Have all strikers on goal droughts simultaneously. Finish mid-table. Question what I'm doing before starting the following season with renewed optimism anyway.
SkiIIs
Made a very noob error and looking to be adjourned by the powers above... with the Youth intake, i signed the players that i wanted to keep and there about 5 or so players that i decided not to offer a contract. On the day that the scholars were announced and subsequently those players that had their trials end, i stupid offered a contract to one of the released players that had good determination. He then accepted the contract and I approved and as soon as i realised what I was about to do, i cancelled the signing and said player never actually signed for the club as he was scheduled to arrive 1st July. Albeit, he appears on my signings page which the OCD in my is killing me. Said player was Decker below. Let me know if I've broken the rules of the challenge and/or whether i can continue with the save...

Popular Post Daddy
2029/30 Season Review: This is going to be a beefy post! Let's start with all the league updates first Wound up winning the league pretty comfortably. I found it pretty cool that it was the teams 75th year and it gets its first title. Moved to Club icon as well. Since we wrapped up league early I decided to go for it in the State Cup. Nothing much to say here other than it's cool to do the Domestic Double. I made it deep mostly rotating, and then in the finals rotated in league matches to field the strongest team to win this. Getting knocked out by the eventual winners softens the blow a little bit. They got off to a quick 2-0 lead in the first leg and we were always trying to catch up. Only a one goal loss by aggregate, but if it weren't for that initial outburst I wonder how it would have gone. Still it was a great experience, and all three Israeli teams in the competition made it out of the group stage which was a massive boost to the coefficients. Gaining an additional European spot in league, though it's contingent on who wins the State Cup. The big notes are the additional Champions League spot and improved starting spot. Plus a spot in the Euro Cup. An additional stadium expansion and this time large enough to meet the minimum requirements for European matches of 8,000. The last miscellaneous item here is getting a Model Citizen for a HYOD. Probably unfair to my previous one who helped build this team, but a major improvement to the Personality trait. 2030 Youth Intake: Very striker heavy but I have a 17 year old that scored 42 goals in 35 matches in all competitions last year. There's a lot of retraining going on as a result. 2030/31 Season Preview: In league I expect to challenge for league again. No reason not to expect it. State Cup I'll worry about the vision goal and anything else is bonus. It's just a desired goal so it's not the end of the world if I sacrifice it (or get a bad early draw). Champions League a favorable draw was received. A Northern Ireland Club. A win to advance to the next round is required in the vision. As I said at the start, beefy post!

Popular Post WhiteCat33
Toni Store Jugglers FC - St Vincent & The Grenadines Season 11 2032/2033 SVG Club Championship Performance League CHAMPION Cup CHAMPION North American Champions League [Matches] We played amazingly well in the NACL and were inches from advancing against a legitimately stiff group. Descriptions in the Matches link, but really this wasn't a luck performance we really came out to play in the tournament vastly overachieving against much stronger sides. The fact we are getting 12,000 fans to watch us battle Monterrey from a 110,000 country is unbelievable. The capacity of the national stadium is 18,000 - we might actually sell it out in a few years! The prize money + gate receipts are getting reinvested this year. Caribbean Club Championships Group Stage [Teams] [Matches] Here it has to say while we got an awful draw with 2 Jamaican sides, we were gifted with Waterhouse firing their head coach just before the tournament so the team was in absolute shambles. Any other year and I'd never expect to beat them twice 4-0 as they have a good number of Jamaican national team players in their Starting XI. The real surprise was the fact a Bermudan outfit PHC Zebras were challenging all of us. Good on them! Knockouts [Teams] We are cursed in this competition. Club Franciscain is a pretty straightforward team to beat, hence the 7-0 agg victory. But AS Capoise...the FM Gods just don't want us to beat them. First Leg away in their house and though we pepper their goal with shots we only convert 2 of 13 SOT, while they have (what I thought) was an astounding 2 for 4 50% conversion rate. Their late equalizer being an anoying long GK kick that my CBs just botched the header and the striker ran up and scored. We even almost lost but thankfully the linesman actually made the right offside call (remember no VAR here). But I figured, hey it is the away leg to a 12k sold out crowd, stuff like that is bound to happen. We have them at home on the return and with all that shooting maybe we can do better when they make the trip to us? Boy was I wrong. While our offense did their job, I was furious with the defense. 3 shots on target... 3 GOALS!?! With the kicker being the final goal happening in the 119' just before penalties. This makes it two consecutive years that they have knocked us out. Both I and the players just didn't care when we went to Puerto Rico and the FM'ng continued. 1 shot on target, .34 xG and a goal. To be fair our offense didn't show up. Squad Ezra Williams 05a is our first club legend, and he absolutely deserves it. Transfers \ I cleared out the 18-20 year olds who hadn't developed with Hope International taking the vast majority of them. Youth Academy YI Preview Youth Intake - Yeah my HOYDs trial period ended after this intake... Youth Intake Squad If I had to choose one, if this CB trains well he could actually move into the squad, which says more for the lack of quality CBs than his ability. Good speed and height/jump combination though. With our increase in reputation other island coaches are appearing and I'll be switching to this Anguillan HOYD, who still is not great but hopefully will be better. One day a Model Professional will appear... Club Improvements Thank you NACL money, up to Average YF now. St Vincent National Team Well, no surprise but Costa Rica was a bridge too far so no WC NAQ for us this cycle. However, we got a surprise slot in the Gold Cup. Pretty sure this is a first ever for St Vincent!; we played upset getting a surprise 1-0 victory against Honduras keeping them from advancing! And our legend E Williams 05a scored both St Vincent goals, with his one against Canada getting him the 2nd best goal of the tournament Interestingly, after this tournament the real life St Vincent Head Coach finally retired, and they have a trash replacement who is the head coach responsible for running Hope International (tycoon backed) into the ground. So their 139 rank after the Gold Cup might be a peak for a little while. Excel & Thoughts Excel. The CCC is the most frustrating tournament for this team. Maybe its because we play the Finals in the pre-season and they don't have the stamina (and i don't have the rotational depth) to make it to the end but every year we seem to just collapse right on the precipice of greatness. Yet, we have over-performed in the NACL with this year being possibly our strongest yet. Big picture, its better that way as we are building cash way faster than I expected for this save and are drawing actually sizeable crowds to our matches.

Popular Post dkouv
Sant Andreu – Season 15 (2036/37) Europe We got a much trickier group containing Benfica and Juventus, last year's quarter-finalists and runners-up respectively, but managed to just about top the group. The last 16 saw two very frustrating games against Dortmund, who beat us 3-2 with a 96th minute winner in the home leg, and drew 1-1 in the away leg despite us dominating and winning the xG 3-1. So another disappointing showing in the CL this year, I hope our luck turns before too long. La Liga A much smoother journey than last year, we won the title easily and also won the Spanish cup. With all these titles and no CL success we are really becoming the Man City of Spain, just without the oil money. Players: The squad is improving slightly but not much, with quite a lot of depth in defence and midfield. A couple of youngsters really came through this season, with Roger Nieto 12c and Marc Rosanas 09a becoming first-team regulars in centre mid and full back positions. Brian Hidalgo 12i also excelled after being recalled from loan at Zaragoza who didn’t play him - he has a lower star rating than our countless short centre backs but plays much better than all of them. The main issue is that we’re really lacking a good goalie and striker, I’ll try to move Nicolas Paz 09c upfront to see how he does, as our regular striker Ivan Deniz 04b only managed 9 goals in 30+ apps this season. And the less said about our keeper in some of those CL games the better... Youth intake (preview; intake overview): Looks like an amazing intake, 2.5* CA is a decent La Liga player and we got 6 elite talents! Unfortunately most of them play at full back which is already the strongest position in the squad, and there are no striker or keeper prospects in sight. Transfers: Nothing special. Facilities: Still no youth facility upgrade, and training facilities got downgraded. Popular Post aldojags
Season Review 2023/34 League Table | Promotion Group | Fixtures 1 & 2 | Finances | Manager Profile | Transfers Well in my 2nd season in charge it was all about righting the wrongs of last season (was 5 points clear with 5 games to go, lost all 5 and finished 3rd!) and winning promotion. I was fairly confident as I'd kept the team together and hoping a few tactical tweaks would be enough. And for most of the season I was right, we did really well, were 1st-2nd for most of the season. Then March happened, I don't really know where it came from or why it happened, but a horrendous run where we looked devoid of confidence. I can't even blame injuries like I did last year, everyone fit and available and kept losing. Had played a 4231 most of the season, but decided to tighten up and went a bit compact with a 4312, it did the business as I went unbeaten in the promotion group and won the league! Youth Preview | Intake | Squad List View Hard to know what to make of the intakes, some players featured in first team at 15/16 from bench, couple of the more decent ones I've posted below, I think De Paepe although very young will feature for me, I need to start bringing in guys to replace the old guard as I have 4-5 important starters all early 30's now, need to start giving starts to the youngsters, which by and large I've not had to do besides the odd game. But these guys from the bench have been important at times, Ward De Vos (last years intake) scored some hugely important goals, 2 winners in separate games where he was through on his own and rounded the keeper late on, identical goals, which for a youngster I thought was cool to see! De Vos also got capped by Belgium's U-18s, and there was also recognition for one of our intake from this year who almost immediately got capped by Luxembourg U-21s - not a huge deal I know but nice to see things like that. Hired this new HOYD who I am hoping with his great personality and reasonable attributes will dig me up a few gems next few years! Spoiler Next season Belgian 2nd tier is a bit strange, 8 teams play each other 4 times, so only a 28 game regular season. Which on one hand I'm looking forward to as I'll get through the seasons quicker. 8th goes down, 1st goes up, and 2nd top plays 2nd bottom in a promotion place. So my main goal this season is 7th, anything above that is a bonus, and just chip away over next few years, hoping for maybe a maximum of 5 years here before I can get promoted...we'll see! Yeah it's weird, both Real and Barca are taking turns to be off-the-pace with random teams like Alaves, Zaragoza and Betis getting CL qualification and competing for the title. Looks like they really didn't manage to use their financial advantages well, and in Europe it's the English teams + Bayern and PSG dominating.
iamnobody
Enterprise Youths FC Youth Intake 2025 I forgot to screenshot the preview, but the actual intake looks good. I just need to make sure I survive the season. I haven't gotten a new contract yet and it's not looking good.
glennuk
@DaddyCongrats on the league win. The amazing players getting poached for a pittance is a hard part of this challenge for me. I am further ahead in game than updates and I have had a few offers that I have been unable to resist or that the board have accepted on my behalf. It hurts the soul! glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 5 - Best Youth Players so far Progress - May need to zoom to see attribute changes. I wanted to start by looking at how some of my best Youth Intake have progressed and performed so far (I plan to do this every 5 years). This is a random unneeded addition to the post, but I enjoyed looking at the progress so hope you will too. Jamie Herd (YP01A) - Youth Intake - Attributes Now - Career Stats The biggest downside is the change from Model Citizen to Light-Hearted, but apart from that he has grown 2 inches taller, put on 9kg and improved in many key areas, most impressive being the +6 strength. I have tried to train finishing and heading, but it doesn't seem to be doing much unfortunately. His Career stats for one so young are immense. The Last two seasons he has had lots of starts along with some sub appearances and always seems to perform, I mean those average ratings are pretty good and the goal return is good too. He is still young and improving, and I know the turn to Professional Status as a club would be huge for him, but my requests keep getting denied. Tyler Warren (YP01C) - Youth Intake - Attributes Now - Career Stats Again some decent increases all around. Tyler became my captain this year due to his high Leadership and Teamwork. He has improved a decent amount in physicals and I am impressed with the +4 off the ball improvement. The only problem being that we have Gary Brough (YP03A) who is statistically better than him. His Career Stats are also impressive. He is performing decently with the step up, but unfortunately it looks like his max level will be the Vanarama National. He and Jamie Herd are the two I am most attached to (maybe 1st intake, maybe the way they play??). Simon Korhonen (YP02H) - Youth Intake - Attributes Now - Career Stats Perhaps the surprise of the bunch. I rank based on how well I think they will do and with relatively low potential I didn't think Korhonen would make much of an impact in the side. However he has improved a steadily (mostly in Mentals) if not dramatically and has performed very well in A LOT of games, 109 games in 4 years is impressive enough, that 104 of them came in 3 years is even better. He is definitely a case of performs better than he looks. Maybe he will be a late bloomer. The move from Fairly Ambitious to Balanced is a bit of a disappointment too. Gary Brough (YP03A) - Youth Intake - Attributes Now - Career Stats In some ways he is the antithesis of Simon Korhonen (YP02H) in that he doesn't quite perform up to the attributes that he has. He is a good player who is challenging for the starting AMR spot. However his finishing is poor and although he has improved in some areas he really hasn't gotten much better at all (the -1 for crossing is a concern), apart from in the physicals department. I may be being too harsh, but I expected more from him, especially with the Fairly Professional personality. However he is still young and could continue to improve. In terms of Career Stats, they are good but the step up to Vanarama National has not been easy for him. If he wants to supplant Tyler Warren (YP01C) in the starting line up he needs to do more and be more consistent. Glenn Crane - Manager As a bonus here is my manager. Looking to be quite accomplished these days. Edited May 11, 2022 by glennuk
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 5 - Youth Intake - Another Golden Generation! The preview was decent and the Intake was even better. I am VERY excited to have a 4.5* CA player come in. The 2.5* CA is also exciting. A pity the best two players are wingers, who we honestly have enough of already. I have signed all 12 of the Elite Talents! Also nice to have a couple of Europeans (French and Polish) in there too. Top 3 - Youth Intake 5 Richard Owns (YP05A) - The star of the show. He will come in and start in the Inverted Winger AML position that one of my legacy players Jasper Pattenden has held down for so long (Pattenden is 3.5* CA). I like the Fairly Ambitious personality and his stats are good all around. Excited to see how much he progresses and if I can keep him around for long. Loric Shabani (YP05B) - Another very strong winger. He actually compares pretty well to Tyler Warren (YP01C) and Gary Brough (YP03A), most noticeably he needs to improve his strength and some of his mentals, but he could well be my first choice for the AMR position within the next couple of years. The starting pace/acceleration and dribbling attributes could make him a phenomenal player at this level. Hoping we can train the Balanced personality out of him. Maciej Gorak (YP05C) - He narrowly gets the C spot ahead of David Lennon (YP05D) due to the fact I need a new first choice Goalie and he could fill the spot in the next couple of years. Obviously needs to improve across the board, but he is a big kid at 15. Again hoping I can train the Light-Hearted personality out of him, but he is definitely a promising young Goalie and with my current legacy Goalie Harrison Male at only 2* CA, Gorak is not far behind.

I feel your pain with the tons of wingers in your intake, ive been the same with the 2 intakes ive had, both about about 3 otential starting quality wingers where i was already strong and tens to favour a narrow formation! in desperate need of cb’s but none coming through of note. your manager has great attributes too i cannot get board to agree to coaching course as weare over a million in debt!
Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 5 - End of Year Review League - 4th We were unexpectedly good all season long. In our first season in the Vanarama National we exceeded expectations and were comfortably in the playoff spots. I was pretty confident in our first round matchup, but knew it would be hard going up against Tranmere or Bristol Rovers in the Semi Finals. Playoffs Round 1 vs Altrincham We were the better team throughout the game, we had so many good chances that I couldn't believe it when we went to Extra Time. To then go to penalties was a concern. To lose on penalties with the ever reliable Simon Korhonen (YP02H) missing the only penalty was devastating. WE WERE ROBBED! I suppose we just have to gear up for next season and hope we can carry this momentum into the next year. Final Table - Bristol Rovers Promoted The Squad We had some great performances from our usual suspects of Young Players. Jamie Herd (YP01A) was outstanding and is our clear number 1 striker now. Richard Owens (YP05A) came in and played quite a few games for us, becoming our youngest goalscorer in the process. Zvonko Kovacevic (YP04B) also became more of an important player and will probably start at CB next season. Gary Brough (YP03A) won the AMR position from Tyler Warren (YP01C) and performed better in his appearances, although they still rotate due to the hectic 46 game league season. We continue to move out some of the legacy players and have Youth take the spotlight, but this is a slow and careful process. Record Breakers & Accolades I won Manager of the Year two years in a row. Jamie Herd (YP01A) now has the record for best average rating in the Vanarama National League. David Lennon (YP05D) now has the record for youngest ever player in the Vanarama National League. We were also the biggest overachievers in the league and have a new high in average attendance at 2,244. Finances Finances are still pretty good all around. Sponsorship seems to go up every year which helps. Extras I got a new contract and the board agreed to send me for my final Pro Licence. Also our gamble to take 20% of Finn Stevens for 915k paid off, as if we had waited we would have only got 200k. The Future I think it may still take a few years to get out of Vanarama National and it seems as a Part-Time club the attribute upgrades in general are slow progress. It doesn't seem like the board will go Full-Time, but I guess will have to if we get to League Two. The sooner we do that the better.
Libertine13
On 13/12/2021 at 13:05, Libertine13 said: 2037/38 Club Update Since we achieved promotion back into the 2nd Tier I thought I'd post a run down of how the club looks right now, 15 seasons into the challenge. Honestly thought I'd be a little further ahead than this but it is what it is. Firstly here's the first team squad as it stands, we have no players left over from the original squad, I think the last guy left a season ago. There's quite a bit of potential, but outside of the starting XI we have such a lack of current ability. Especially at centre half! The goalkeeper situation is a tough one as well, I know Helmes (35c) needs game time to help realise his potential but he's noticeably poor. Christoph Herm. Club captain, extremely consistent performer. A couple years past his best though but still one of the main men. Reveal hidden contents Vladimir Kostic. Our best youth prospect to have come through, already one of the first names on the team sheet. I'm furious that his agent locked in a minimum fee release clause and I'm not sure we'll be able to keep hold of him. Absolutely gutted. Reveal hidden contents Marlon Mielitz. He was our best performer last season with a 7.58 average rating. Also chipped in with 8 goals and 8 assists in his 28 league games, mainly from the left wing. Reveal hidden contents Finn Wolf. I never thought he'd make it as a first team regular, but with our lack of options in his position he's stepped up and actually become pretty important to the team. Reveal hidden contents Maximilian Wagener. Another one of our better prospects. Broke into the first team this season just gone, whilst not had the best of performances he's really developing well. He's got a £1.9m release clause that I couldn't avoid so I'll be trying to get rid of that this coming season! Reveal hidden contents Seyfettin Aydogdu. This guy is probably the best young prospect we have who hasn't broken into the first team properly yet, this coming season I'll be trying to get him a decent amount of game time. Hide contents Our facilities are looking pretty solid right now as well. We've just been able to upgrade the Youth Facilities, which will be completed in a couple of months as well. There's £20m in the bank but the tight chairman is dragging his feet on upgrading anything else right now. I'm going to need a couple more really good youth intakes to help push for promotion in the next couple of seasons, it's been a bit of a slog recently! It's been a while since I've updated my progress, I haven't been able to jump on as much as I'd like to recently but have still been playing this save despite not posting. So here's a little run down of where I'm at now and a little synopsis of previous seasons since my last post... I'm currently in the 2044/45 season with Cottbus, unfortunately we're in the Bundes .2 league after a brief stint in the top division. The slight set back in terms of progression in this challenge nearly made me quit, but I've invested too much into this save so far. We've got some of the best facilities in the country right now and we've been getting very good youth intakes. Our youth team is littered with 4.5 and 5 star potential players, I'm starting to think I'm not giving them the best opportunity to reach their potentials despite the club having the one of the best set ups to help them do so. Our U19 team has been one of the best performing youth teams in recent years as well, winning their league in 40/41 and finishing 2nd last season (43/44). We've got the best coaching team in the division and I'm pretty sure even last season when we were in the Bundesliga we were right up there with the best. Our first team isn't bad, but like I said, I'm finding it hard to help develop the younger players into good quality first teamers. With how little quality there is in the team I tend to promote youngsters quite early and I'm not sure if that's having a detrimental effect on their progress. This is a fine example of how my save is going regarding player development... We've had this guy since 2042 and as you can see his stats aren't great at all and with his low determination personality I wasn't holding out too much hope. But he was always valued around £7m-£8m, making him the highest valued player at the club for whatever reason and this was well before any interest from other clubs... Spoiler He'd been given a fair amount of first team game time on account of his high potential and our lack of a solid right back but he was useless, which kind of makes sense looking at his attributes. Despite all this, it didn't stop RB Leipzig from making a big offer to sign him. I'm at a loss as what to make of all this, this player is clearly pretty poor right now and hasn't developed at all under my management, so why was he garnering so much interest and why wasn't he developing at all if there's a player in here somewhere? If anyone can give me any tips or pointers as on how to develop the youngsters a little better than I am I'd be very appreciative. I'm determined to complete this challenge!
Popular Post SuperRedditch
The Spartans Season 4 - 2025/26 League One - 1st Place (Champions) Sometimes this game is beautiful. Either last year's intake strengthened the team enough to be able to properly compete, I'm a secret tactical genius, I'm lucky, or a combination of the above. I said I was going to redesign my tactic and so I did. I tried really hard and it just worked. We went on a 5 game winning streak in late Autumn and then a 7 win streak in Feb/March, winning the league with one game to spare. Additionally, we drew Hibernian away in the Scottish cup, obviously getting hammered, but netting us 150k in gate receipts. Combined with 129k for finishing top, we've made a modest profit over the course of the season, which is all you can really hope for. The Tactic Just wanted to showcase the tactic here. Tried to not over-complicate the instructions and specifially tried to create space. We had to play a 4-4-2 (with the personnel I have) but previous attempts had been lacking in passing options; being very flat and one dimensional. People were always dropping and moving in between the lines this season, finding pockets of space and attacking the opposition in unpredictable ways. The Key Men (I'd list more, everyone contributed and played their role; 14 players over 7.00 Av Rat) Jack Strachan 02c - MR - Devastating on the wing. 8 goals/13 assists. Player of the Season. James McCutcheon 00a - DC - Just integral to everything we do defensively. Jamie Viola 02a - ST - Happy with the Target Forward. 13 goals/9 assists. Needs someone better alongside him to take the pressure off. Transfers Finances Youth Intake Pretty disappointing, to be honest, apart from one player. Bad personalities on the higher potential players and lackluster CA in the areas that I would like to strengthen. Grant McLelland 04a - ST - All we've had is Target Forwards come through. I prayed for someone with some pace and we got him. Solid personality and his weaknesses can be mostly dealt with by training Attacking Movement. Put him straight into the first XI and have high hopes for him next season. Next Season Survive! I didn't think we'd be ready for the Championship but maybe we are. I'm curious to see what the finances are like in that division; probably pretty dire. There are some big names in there (Kilmarnock and possibly Motherwell to name two) but I have faith. I get the impression that the step up from L1 to Championship is massive compared to L2 to L1. It's also time to say goodbye to the rest of the hold-outs from the original squad. Blair Henderson and Kevin Waugh, you're both heroes and your service will never be forgotten. Godspeed, gentlemen.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Marbella FC - Season 2025/26 - Primera División RFEF Grupo II Squad | Transfers | Finances With last seasons good effort in mind, we went into the new season with the hope of doing it even better this time around. And we really delivered on that hope! From the outset we seemed to be playing at a higher level than last season, and a few of the youth players have grown more mature, and less prone to personal errors. Probably due to this, we conceded a lot less this season than the last, and in doing so we stayed around the top of the table for the entire season. Of course, I don't think we ever had the actual top spot, because Barcelona B was back here... Still, we continued to play well and in the closing stages we were quite comfortably in the playoff spots. Eventually, we fought Badajoz and Hércules de Alicante for the 2nd spot behind Barcelona B, and we held on and kept the 2nd place on goal difference since our head to head with Badajoz was tied. So into the playoff we went. In the semi final we beat Logroñés quite comfortably, and then we beat Badajoz in the final to clinch a semi surprising promotion into LaLiga 2! I think we are going to struggle next season, but a promotion is always welcome! Copa del Rey: We beat Ceuta and then Leganés from the tier above us before we got a massive opponent. We drew Barcelona at home! Turns out we didn't make much money from it for some reason, but we managed to hold them to 0-2 at least! Standout players: More youth players have become first team regulars this season. In addition to Seyba Kouyaté 23c and Tore André Fjellsbø 24c in the heart of the defense, we also have Samuel López 24b who has deputized in their absence a few times, but also played a lot in the DM role. Pelayo Calderón 23a started as a sub, but eventually made the right wing role his own with some great matches. Others who have had quite a few matches include Benjamín Peluas 24d, Víctor Cuervo 24a, and Kingsley Torres 25b. Youth intake: The previews keep looking promising. And the actual intakes are a bit disappointing. Bruno Abogo 26b has a very nice attribute spread (other than vision) for an inside forward. Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2023 Ungmennafélagið Máni Season Summary It was a very long, hard season, though we avoided the wooden spoon. Season Details League Table - By not finishing bottom, we performed better than I expected. League Fixtures - We had long strentches without a win though we did grind out a few victories here and there. Mjólkurbikar - We managed to win our first round game though were outclassed in the second round, against top flight side Víkingur R. Friendlies - Despite only winning one game, we played well enough in pre season. Squad - I only have three players and they are not very good. Squad Dynamics - Our team cohesion is appalling. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - With no youth academy, there was no intake this year. Finances - We made a small profit this year, though not enough to start an academy. Key Players Arnar Freyr Bjarnason - Our goalkeeper was our best player and it was just as well as he was extremely busy. Þorgeir Guðmundsson - The teenager did his best on the right wing though he was often found wanting. Sveinn Orri Vatnsdal - The veteran had a season to forget. Next Season Avoid finishing bottom. Winski
Garbarnia Kraków Midseason review 2031/2032 We are halfway season 2031/2032 and things are going very well! I created a new 4-3-3 tactic and it's working very well. We are creating lots of chances, and my 3 forwards are also scoring lots of goals. In the Europa Leage we finished 2nd in a group with PSV(Holland), Cherno more Varna(Bulgaria) and Shakhter Soligorsk(Belarus). We only lost against PSV, and with 13 points we qualified for the First Knockout Round. There we will meet AS Monaco. They've got a fantastic squad, and are currently 2nd in France, just behind PSG. So we will probably meet our Waterloo here. In the League we are 1st with 6 points clear. We are doing way better then last season, and if we continue our current form, then we will become champion without a doubt. I had to sell my best player Ireneusz Matras 29c. There were so many clubs interested, I just couldn't hold him longer. He chose for playing in the Premier League with Reading. And with a contract of 113k a month I know why.... Then last but not least: the youth intake preview. It looks like we will get a decent intake again.

If he's 18 and not ready yet and not even backup ready I loan out. Always give a player a specific position to train and an additional focus (I tend to ignore the staff advice with this stuff). If retraining positions make sure they get game time in the new role. While I've never quite mastered it, mentoring to get the personalities you want. Can't tell what the hidden attributes are, but with low determination he may never develop even at that other club.
Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2041-2042 Vanarama National League Another high finish, another disappointment. This time Aldershot, who are fast becoming our rivals as I can't seem to get a win over them, blocked our way up. Transfers Ian Martin left us for a 50% sell-on clause to Hull. More on the financial side, this happened at the end of the season: We received 2 million and a player: He was released straight away. Board tried blocking it but finances will not be an issue in the next few years, because one of our sell-ons has been triggered! 11 million is A LOT for us. Upgrades are finally incoming and we also went professional. Squad Bassett and Gildersleeve played their first season for us and did well. Schultz is pushing for a starting spot and of course Mbiyavanga-Domo was our star player again. I'm amazed that neither he or Molloy never really tried to leave. Youth intake I'm really unimpressed with this lot. No player stands out. Hopefully this changes with the upgrades.
DazRTaylor
My Iceland save is ongoing, though it is tough to maintain motivation when you have no academy and no money. So, back to Scotland, where I will play as well as in Iceland. Club Introduction The Spartans The Manager This is me. We, once again, had a difficult start and couldn't get it going. Our last youth intake was very good so hopefully this will start us going up in the right direction. Popular Post Makoto Nakamura
2038/39 End of Season Review An amazing league season with us having a higher goal difference than points for the first time and us only conceding 14 goals! Annoyingly we're not making it to the Champions League next season after losing out against Harbour View and we're still not making any progress in the Champions League either. Overall Best XI 2038/39 Best XI Audwin Thomas-McCoy (YP12l) Steveroy Byers-Thomas (YP9c) - Lindon Browne (YP14l) - Trevor Williams-Scott (YP16c) - Max Carter (YP13m) Niall Statham (YP14g) - Audwin Thomas-Allen (YP12b) Mick Withe (YP14e) Marcel Benfield (YP13b) Darius Goddard (YP13a) - Zaine Challenger (YP12e)

Squad by appearances I have a youth called Junior Williams too! You have a rough league there. Hang in there, I'm invested in your progress!

I need 8 points from the next 5 in order to survive. My mission may not last as long as the original Star Trek mission.

Good luck - I find the tactics are important, but at that level all players are basically trash. It makes the youth challenge really tough as you don't really have the talent, whilst your competitors hoover up the significantly better released players from the TT Pro league

Thanks. Yep I even debated trying a crazy 3-4-3 style tactic so I could have RM, LM, LW and RW. Then I realised that I only really have 2 or 3 passable CBs. 10 hours ago, Daddy said: The big thing I see is you're not broke. Every England save I ever try I go broke so fast. Keep up the good work! Yep true. Seems like I keep getting good sponsorship money and attendances and merchandise are better than expected.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 6 - Youth Preview & Quick Update We were once again favoured to go down this season. Although this time we were not bottom of the season preview...progress? Our first game of the season proved that we shouldn't even be in the conversation, beating fellow bookies choice to go down in Barrow 6-1. Jamie Herd (YP01A) and I are even now in the Mackerel Mens favoured personnel. Richard Owens (YP05A) our star Youth Intake player from last season is now looking to be a Sky Bet Championship Winger!!! The League so far We have been very good again this season and have been in and around the playoff spots all season. Jame Herd (YP01A) has been outstanding. The Goals to game ratio is almost at 1.0. BUT he wants to leave We have had a few bids upwards of 200k for him so far. Youth Intake Preview Not the best preview, but still a 4.5* estimate. I really do not need the wingers, but a new Striker (to replace Herd if I can't convince him to stay) and a new Goalkeeper would be great. Daddy
Midseason Review - Domestic: Losing our best player has been hard to overcome. His replacement has been solid with 11 goals in 18 matches, but he's replacing a guy scoring over a goal per game. That's just hard to replace. The European fixtures have made things more difficult as our depth has been stretched with injuries. A backup also no longer wants to be a back up and it has caused quite a fuss. It's a bit of everything going wrong at once. With the schedule easing up I think we'll move back up, but I don't think a top two finish will happen now. More upgrades and yet another poaching. Our first international cap. Midseason Review - European: This happened right after Tottenham swept up our league best striker. We just didn't have the firepower. We were able to get to the Euro Cup Group stage. We held our own, and were in position to get the 2nd spot but just couldn't get a goal. This puts us into the Euro Cup II First Knockout round where will will play Zurich in a fairly favorable draw. Youth Intake Preview: Unless he's a world beater off the start I don't really need a keeper, but the Midfielders and Forwards I can use.

Even when I was consistently in the Playoffs in the Vanarama South I was always odds on favourite to go down. On a side note have Two Strikers and being rated A in that category has to give you a good chance of getting a new Striker = more firepower to replace the guy Spurs took.
