For this level they have nice facilities, can you produce the next wonderkid ? Futebol Clube Barreirense - It was a big fall for this club. Long time ago Berreirense was a good club, playing in the 1st tier, reaching Taça de Portugal late rounds and even playing the old Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. But those times are gone, can you bring them up ? Moura / Mineiro Aljustrelense - This two clubs are more for the reagion they belong to. Since 2000/2001 season the top flight doesnt have an Alentejo club. Can you end this run ? Interesting challenges: Lusitânia dos Açores (Azores) / Caniçal (Madeira) - If you fancy to try Youth Challenge in an island, you can try to produce the next Pedro Pauleta in Azores or the next Cristino Ronaldo in Madeira. Portugal was a lot of good clubs for this challenge but this ones look very interesting to me. Hope you enjoy I would add Louletano, and Oriental to the list.

Popular Post 15charactersmax
Hanvikens SK First season A really comfortable first season in charge at Hanvikens SK. Never looked like going down and never looked like going up. Some really nice form towards the end of the season saw us finish a very creditable 5th place and we actually ended up as top scorers in the division. Despite that our weakness is in the defense and we leaked goals especially late on in matches when in a good position which is frustrating. Having a already exceptionally young squad means they can hopefully grow together, albeit our semi-pro status means that player growth will suffer as a result of not enough time on the training pitch. We lost money but never ended up in the red and our biggest outlay financially is actually on our staff who earn way more than any of the player do which is bizarre. It's strange getting used to time of year the league is played in and actually means the youth intake happens at the end of the season, which meant I almost forgot about it! Alkatah was my main man up top, his finishing and composure really stands out at this level and he was efficient in one on one scenarios. We actually have a few good options at striker but I prefer a system with one striker team so he never gave me reason to drop him. I'll expect more of the same next season, maybe even breaking in to the twenties. Sanyang was my AMC playing behind Alkatah and was superb chipping in with both goals as assists. He was the player that always seemed to make the difference in tight games and could be relied upon from the spot. At 28 he's my oldest player and has hopefully many years ahead of him in this team. I must admit I was slightly underwhelmed by the quality of the intake, despite the abundance of 5 star potential none of them really look ready to challenge the first team, even in the areas that we're most weak. The star rating of most of them actually dropped significantly after signing which suggests my HoYD's ability to judge them isn't up to snuff. I realise I'm probably asking too much but we'll see if we can develop some of them with our sub par facilities.NEXT SEASON Hoping for more of the same! I don't think we're ready to go up yet, not in terms of our squad depth. The financial rewards for playing in the higher division aren't great and most teams are still semi-pro anyway. Looking forward to seeing if our younger squad can kick on and grow together. I'll look to integrate some of the academy prospects as much as possible which might impact on results in the short term. Financially we look set to enter the red at some point, but we're not haemorrhaging money due to our small costs so I'm hoping its not as much as an issue as it has been for some of you!

Popular Post benrollo
FK Zemun - 2025/26 Season Review League Position - 8th (5th in Group A Final Phase) -- PROMOTED VIA PLAYOFF! Away Leg - Home Leg Manager Overview Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Zemun are heading to the Super League after a bonkers 10-5 aggregate win over Radnicki - but that's only half the story! The regular season was pretty uneventful in all honesty. We played well and I think an 8th place finish was the least we deserved - as you can see from the league table above, we were one win away from potentially finishing 3rd. That seemed to give the lads confidence heading into the final phase, as we went unbeaten in our final 6 games to sneak 5th place. I don't know why Graficar were not able to be promoted, but we gladly took the last playoff spot at their expense! In the playoff, we started well with a 2-1 win away to Radnicki, but nothing could prepare us for what was to come in the second leg. Radnicki peppered our goal with shots, but we showed them how to do it at the other end with one of the most ruthless attacking displays I've seen. 14 shots, 12 on target, 8 goals. Do we have a hope of staying up? I'm not sure. We've kept our squad mostly intact, so we'll give it a good go! Our best performers this season were Kenan 'The Bozzman' Bozic 24-1 (7.35 in 41 games), Ivan Tejic (7.05 in 39 games) and Lazar Ristovski (7.03 in 39 games). Bozic has been a superb player for us, and is developing at an alarming rate. The board almost sold him for peanuts after accepting a too good to refuse bid, but I thankfully managed to talk them down. Not sure how much longer we can keep hold though - he's attracted one or two bids. The youth preview again promised...promising things, although the lack of central midfielders was a concern. That was followed up with eight elite talents graduating from the academy, and for the first time I had a player who looked like he could step in and contribute immediately. That player led the top prospects: Nikola Cakic Pavle Vasic Lazar Govedarica Additionally in the elite category we had Stefan Dimitrov, Miljan Stajic, Branimir Dervisevic, Vukasin Duric and Miroslav Kocic. Cakic came straight in to the starting lineup (signing a contract before the youth graduates match even took place!) and put in a 6.98 average rating in 14 games. A promising start! Off the pitch we had a pretty eventful season too. I now hold a Continental C license, and we've seen upgrades to both our recruitment and junior coaching. In the case of our junior coaching, we had a double upgrade - thanks to some...interesting board room discussions: Our form seemed to turn around in the 5 minutes it took me to walk down to the board room. On to 2026/27 - I'm pretty pessimistic about our chances in the division, but let's see what the young lads can do!

Popular Post WhiteCat33
Guiseley AFC Season 4 2026-2027 : VNNMatches| Squad | Transfers | Finances | Supporters | Facilities League: 8th Place Finish This was an incredibly frustrating end of the season. If you look at our League Position you can see we had an amazing mid-season being 1st in the league from Matchday 14-29, then fell off hard in the winter slump but held in the playoffs until the final day of the season (AGAIN) where we fell just outside of playoffs. This time though it wasn't just that we were in bad form. But somehow my same tactic and same players that conceded 5 penalties in the first 43 games of the season conceded 6 in just 2 games at the end of the season. I even play with 'stay of feet' and no one has hard tackling selected, just a couple press positions. This took us down to 20th for penalties conceded In the 3rd to last game of the season my GK saved 1 of the 3 penalties so we lost 2-1 In the 2nd to last game of the season my Gk saved 0 of the 3 penalties (two of which in the first 10 mintues of the match) so we lost 3-1 And then it came to the final game of the season (like last year) where we had a very winable game against 13th place Tamworth while we sat in 6th of the table. And even though this time it was us who got a penalty our CBs made some awful errors that didn't give penalties just go-ahead goals for unmarked forwards and even with a mad press in the final minutes we lost 3-2. Cups: FA Cup - 4th Qualifying round. Yeah we bowed out real early here, so not much to say. FA Trophy - Semi Final! We played great in this competition, but this was to the detriment of our end of league form for sure as we had to face Southand United in the semi-final who are 1st in the Vanarama National League finally making their first recovery from their double demotion in 2020 & 2021. They smashed us 7-3 on Aggregate as they have a very fast quality striker who my CBs just couldn't deal with no matter what I tried as he got 5 of the 7 goals. But to get to the Semis we had to beat two Vanarama National league sides Gillingham (4th) & Chester (12th), so was an almost too good performance. Finances: Just wanted to mention that we are having no problem financially in this save. Probably its because we've had at least a moderate cup run each season but we have made between 100-300k per season and sit with a very comfortable 672k balance this summer. This has made it possible to ask and recieve another JR Coaching upgrade up to "Good", but no facility upgrade as of yet or professional status. Squad: Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview: Lots of potential players apparently Spoiler Youth Intake: Intake moved up 2 weeks from mid-april to March 30th so thats a good sign! And I'd say my HOYD delivered pretty well this year. Spoiler Start with the stand out CA player from Ireland Derek Loughrey: Professional, good mentals and some okay physicals. I’m losing my starting CM this summer so he will go in directly. The other big player we’re losing is our Vice captain CB, so Gary Ingham is perfectly timed and will start in our backline even though he’s not the greatest, we have no CBs so he will do. And we finally got a striker! Slow, but I have speed and height in my PF, here we actually get some finishing as his 11 is greater than the sum of my 3 other youth strikers who are all under 5. We got another CM with Iain Hughes who has great mentals, but absolutely no physical ability. He will be a playmaker and is our only FK taker. Thoughts: After that season I'll be tossing all remaining legacy players and will be just looking to build and go professional now as this team needs to age and improve it seems before we can manage the full depth of an English season.

Popular Post Daddy
2023/24 Season Review: Made the Promotion Group, which was expected at the break, but we did so one some mediocre form and that form continued after the break. We were never really outmatched, mostly losing one goal games if we lost. I wasn't expecting promotion but it didn't feel completely unattainable here. Was able to get a couple upgrades and a coach class, both good things. I forgot to capture the starting finances which looks to have been about 130K. The season ended just into the red and then sponsors kicked us to the 52K spot. This has me a bit concerned as there's no money in this league and there's not a ton of value in the players. This has me a bit concerned about getting many more upgrades. I'm asking away while we're in the black. Youth Intake: Overall pretty deep. There were no glaring holes, just a backup goalkeeper and Centerback and this accomplished that and overall strengthen the bench. 2024/25 Season Preview: I hate that sponsor and despite it being the team's real sponsor I'll be switching soon to something that flows better. Now it's about finding out what the club really is. Talent wise I do think we're better than the team that struggled. The goal is to stay up, but I want to see a push to go up.

Division Squad | Transfers | Finances Well now, Denmark again, hopefully for a more enjoyable stint than in FM22. The team I took over wasn't all that bad, unfortunately, everyone is still amateur and I can't offer anything else than amateur contracts, so we lost a few of the best players during the season and before the youth intake came along it was rare I had more than one outfield player on the bench for a match. Still, we had a good season, even if we conceded a whole bunch of goals as we trotted along trying to pick up points. Most of the player that got poached away was defenders, so when you have silver star defenders as your only options, you know you will concede quite a few! After the intake it became much better, however, I was unable to use most of the best ones due to the age limit that most of them hadn't reached yet. Next season most should be old enough, though I have to wait until almost Christmas for a few of them to be available still. Even with those issues, we managed to sneak into the promotion stage and thus were safe from relegation at least. We did well in the final stage, but we were never close to fighting for a promotion this year. Hopefully we can solidify the defense a bit next season, and with a bit of luck anything is possible. Popular Post schnauzer
Dorchester Town FC - Season 2 (2023 / 2024) Review - Vanarama National League South League Performance Wow, I did not see that coming - we are promoted as champions! With 3 of my key players in Thiago Cazé (34), Jennison Myrie-Williams (36) and Tom Soares (38) all getting well beyond their prime I had expected a drop-off in league performance and was hoping to finish in the top half. Instead, they all managed to raise their games despite their physical attributes completely dropping off. Sadly this is the last we will see of Soares and Myrie-Williams, and I will particularly miss the latter as he has been so good, even making it to the favoured personnel section of the club info! We started unspectacularly, only entering the playoffs by game 13. But then we went on a crazy run and from game 27 onwards we remained top of the table and barring a late drop of form we could have hit 100 points. However! Our youngsters coming through simply aren't close to required standard of the National League. I tried playing an XI of nearly all players from my previous 2 youth intakes in one of my final games of the season at Braintee, and we got completely outplayed and beaten 3-0. I think Soares can be replaced by our new youngster Noel Kessié (Y2) or Ethan Duffus (Y1), but Myrie-Williams' attacking output going to be so hard to replace. Either Faton Hysa (Y1) steps up or I will be forced to change formation from what has been an incredibly good style for us. Fortunately, the board only expects us to fight bravely against relegation next year, so hopefully I should be allowed to continue if / when we come back down! FA Cup - Made the 1st round by beating Maldon & Tiptree, Corinthian Casuals, and Eastleigh. But then got a rubbish draw away to Ebbsfleet and we lost 3-2. FA Trophy - Easy draw to Wantage Town followed by a very hard to Southend (3rd round) who beat us 3-1 at home. Squad - Here you can see why I am worried to lose the old guard, as only Roy Welsh (Y1) and Shayne Haines (Y0) have proven yet that they can perform to the same consistent standard. Bertrand continued his progress and is becoming more important, whilst Harley Wilkinson deserves a mention for keeping a league highest 22 clean sheets. MJ Kedman is now looking more dangerous in front of goal too. Players of the Season 1. Alfie Stanley - Scored 19 goals and got 9 assists (his exact same record as last year) but has really improved his hold up play and is our most important player now. 2. Jennison Myrie-Williams - We will really miss Jennison! He easily could have given us 1 more year but he ends his career on a high. 3. Callum Buckley - Gives us an attacking threat down the left-hand side. Rookie of the Season Roy Welsh - A solid season where he mostly played at right-back even though I had planned for him to be a centre-back. He will probably stay as a right-back now as we have Scott Ford coming through who looks good also. Youth Intake - A really nice intake with better personalities, and a handful of players that could become first-teamers! Qudus Gilmore looks like he could reach the highest level with his professional personality and looks perfect for my tactical system with 2 IWBs. Scott Ford could be a centre back or a BWM, but maybe lacks the work rate to be a BWM. And then we have finally another striker to compete with Alfie Stanley - the brilliantly named Jesmond Micallef, who looks quite good. Transfers - Nothing to show. Finances - Steadily improving all the time but still not enough for the board to improve our basic youth facilities! Other Updates - I got my National B coaching license, and currently doing the A license. Starting to get interview offers from League Two clubs! Junior coaching and youth recruitment both upgraded but the improvement isn't visible yet for junior coaching for some reason. Our board now allows us to have 5 first team coaches, which is great! Popular Post Winski
U.S. Pistoiese 1921 I'll put my Swedish save on hold, because I really want to try a save in Italy. I'll probably continue my save in Sweden on a later point. I chose Pistoiese mainly because it's a club from Tuscany, a region of Italy where I lived for a while. And the club colours are orange and blue, which is a reference to The Netherlands, according to Wikipedia: Quote with the jersey inspired by that of Holland, which, like the city of Pistoia, boasts a strong floriculture. So yeah, that's a nice thing as well: managing an Italian club with club colours of my own country. They spent only one year in Serie A, in 1980/1981 with the famous Marcello Lippi as one of their star players. In more recent history they played mostly in Serie D or Serie C. I made these kits, because I really can't play without any decent kits.

Makoto Nakamura
2028/29 Youth Preview We have a new HoYD now, he's Welsh and slightly worse than our previous one but he does have a professional personality so hopefully things will get slightly better in the next couple of years.
Popular Post SuperRedditch
Season 4 - 2026/27 National League North - 15th More of the same, really; runs of good and bad results but ultimately overachieving for our squad with a very comfortable mid-table finish. It might only be one place higher than last year, but we were never threatened with relegation. The most interesting part of the season was the FA Cup run. Which saw us grace the giddy heights of the 3rd round proper: A very fortuitous set of draws, although National League side Bath City in the 2nd Round was quite the scalp to take. We even got the luck of an away draw against a much larger side, Bournemouth - netting us a solid £70k in gate receipts. The prize money from this run, gave us the £160k needed to upgrade the training facilities from Poor -> Basic. A huge step. Further upgrades were made to Junior Coaching/Youth Recruitment and it's paying dividends with better intakes. Our key players are still legacy players, and they're all getting older. Youth Intake This is more like it! A 2 star player basically gets into my first-team at the moment. Lamar Mackey 27a - Best player to come through so far, I think. That aggression though... Leighton Allard 27b - Definitely a DM or CM rather than a winger. Also has crazy high aggression and already sent off for us with a 2-footed tackle. Next Season I'm in a similar position to FM22 where I'm not getting great wide-players come through. So going to look at swapping to a narrow tactic and try and see some development in these young players.

Reiver
FC Barreirense Changes and First Impressions 2 December 2023, Campeonato de Portugal Série D First things first. I was able to sort out the contract issue I was having, I simply offered all players what they wanted, then changed their actual playing time commitment after they signed the deal. Only a couple of layers moaned about it and in those cases we were able to get through the moaning after talking to them, so that was a big relief. That left me with this squad: I believe the whole contract thing comes from the same place as our odds of 4000-1 of winning the league, with only two teams in our Series with worse odds. The issue is our reputation being quite low, because this is a team that can very easily achieve midtable and with some luck, a good moment of form and good momentum actually fight to qualify to the Promotion Stage. Our biggest con is one that can easily be seen: we only have one right back. So until we have our first youth intake, I actually have a couple of players (one of the DLs and one of the AMRs) training as a right back just in case. The biggest pro in the squad is our starman, João Bandeira, which we are using as our creative outlet from the midfield. We are currently playing in a 4-3-3 formation, looking for the right moment to use our creativity and speed to be deadly on the counter attack. So far, it's been (mostly) very effective: We started very well - a very positive pre-season against teams roughly at our level, including a 6-2 bulldozing of a third tier Spanish team (we are currently a fourth tier Portuguese team). We had a draw on our first game in the league, and then our worst game of the season result wise - the Portuguese cup gave us a non-league team in the second round (after we got a bye in the first round). They scored from a 0.01 xG free kick in the first chance they had, and they finished with 0.04 xG, but if you can't score you won't win... Then everything came into place and we just kept winning, with our striker Bruninho being our talisman. The only loss (against hilariously named Rabo de Peixe [Fish's Butt] was the only game where we weren't clearly the best team on the field. This leaves the league like this: We are surprisingly up there in the spots that take us to the promotion stage, and we already played against two of the top teams. Now, while there were no changes in the squad, for obvious reasons, I have kind of overhauled the training squad. First of all, a new assistant manager. At this level, there is the need to have an assistant manager that is actually good at training and a bit of a jack of all trades, and I found that in Tiago Barreiros. I also goa some better physios and a decent scout set to give me reports on the next opponent. Most importantly though, I have hired a brand new HoYD in Juvenal Brandão. With 16 Working with Youngsters, having 4-3-3 DM Wide as his preferred formation and being Professional, he's all I can ask for and more at this level. Let's see what the rest of the season gives us! JLAB
Yep, Holland isn't getting any relegations for the 2nd tier after 5 years of simulations. That's scratched off my list for now unless that gets sorted.
