Popular Post libbyshuss
Season Summary - Division 2 After narrowly beating the drop last season I decided I needed to micro-manage morale like i've never done before! i was praising left right and centre for all sorts of nonsense, and in the main it worked. We were mid-table for most of the season right up until the final third, where a run of 2 wins and a draw pulled us ever closer to the drop. In the end we finished clear in 11th but with a lower points total than last year! Turns out I need a little bit more than micro-managing morale! Players One problem this year is the number of older, established players deciding they want to explore their options at the end of their contract. We lost our best midfielder last season and are about to lose our first choice striker this season. It means I'm throwing those young players in way quicker than I otherwise would Gabriel da Silva Lima was our hero this year. He was out on loan last year to get himself a work permit but was easily our best player this. It's no coincidence our poor form at the end of the season came while he was out with an injury. Youth Another nice looking preview. I need these! Even better, the actual intake looked like a slight improvement! 4 elites is alright and their personalities are generally ok. But nobody really stands out as a future star, sadly Finances and Upgrades Still not great, still losing money, and still not being given any upgrades. To add insult to injury my training facilities got downgraded too! It's gonna be a slog for a few season yet in Austria Career Can I stay up? I've been favourite to go down both seasons so far and signs point to no!

schnauzer
Can anyone offer some good advice for optimising training to develop young players please? I have "average" rated training facilities, which is pretty good for the level I'm at, and 5 first team coaches and an assistant manager all with good key traits ('working with youngsters', 'determination', 'level of discipline', 'motivating') and yet I'm not seeing much improvement at all in my players - if anything, players are getting worse. I also manage their gametime so that they don't get too tired or burnt out but I'm wondering if this even matters? Is it just a case of players not improving much until the club turns professional? Or are average facilities not high enough to see results? Thanks for any help! Edited October 31, 2022 by schnauzer

I don't criticize or praise them when they are playing well in my team. I think it affects them. However, it's a different story if it's training. - Anything above 7.1, I will praise my young player. - Anything below 6.5, I will criticize my young player. I also don't make their training instructions complicated. I train them in the position I play them. This is Jordi Rocha 23C, he is a regen that was generated during the holiday season before I took over Tampico Madero. The only thing I set for this player was that they train as a Regista. 1 minute ago, Daddy said: are they getting good rating when they play? That's one of the biggest factors from what I read. Popular Post OlivierL
Intro I am going back to what I originally intended, starting in my own country, very close to home. Belgium ! Why Koninklijk Berchem Sport for the third time? They play in my hometown Antwerp and I live very close to Berchem (+- 5 miles). They are the second closest team i could pick in Belgium. A Youth only with players from Antwerp is what I've wanted to do for a long time. I also know some players and staff personally of Berchem. I have never finished more than one season, time to change this. Starting in the third tier in Belgium seems to be the right choice for me. Not a small country, not a big country either. Starting in a third division is not too high or too low and Berchem has quite good youth facilities and reputation. I am also big fan of the many nationalities you get in belgian intakes. I know @XaW @VinnyChilds and @Bartrcm reported that Belgium if financially bugged and i noticed that too. We start as a pro team, that is not helping. But I want to try it anyway . I don't expect an update on this bug in the full release and look at this as an extra challenge. Berchem Sport - Belgium - Intro - 3th tier - Eerste Nationale Database | Manager | Wikipedia| Club vision | Supporter Profile | Finances | Facilities Berchem is the friendly rival of my club (Royal Antwerp Football Club) and is nicknamed 'the nicest team in town' or 'The lions of the city'. Berchem has also received the 'Royal' title in their name, which is something special in Belgium. Berchem played in the first division for 41 years. The last year was in 86 / 87 and they became 3 times vice-champion but never champion. They have been in third division since 1990, only to be relegated to fourth tier in 1997. Well-known former players: Dick Advocaat(82-83) - Ludo Coeck( Youth product 65-72 and legend), Mousa Dembélé ( Youth product 93-99 - Tottenham legend) Stadium In Antwerp we have three 'big' teams . Royal Antwerp F.C. (Bosuilstadion), Beerschot(Olympisch Stadion) and Berchem Sport. Ludo Coeck stadium - build in 1929 What is left of the Ludo Coeck Stadium since 2020 . 2991 Capacity with only 600 seats. They build a temporary stand in front of their old main staind. They are waiting in real life to start building a new small stand. Squad Andy Van Hoof, Chems Eddine Hamouch, Fabio Pinto and Jeroen Van Den Driessche played for Antwerp youth when i was a youth coach / scout at Antwerp ,years ago. And i tried to 'poach' Rik De Kuyffer to Antwerp but he went to Club Brugge before returning to Berchem. Some players are out of contract and were negotiating a new one, they all want to sign as an important player and are asking a lot of money. i'm going to cancel a few because i can replace them in the near future with a youngster. Going professional will make a massive difference, but you can still get good (for lower level) dev for good personality youngsters. Assume poor personalities won't develop at all. I'll echo the others getting at least a 7.0 rating helps development significantly. As a tip if you're bringing them on as a sub make sure they get on the field before the 75' as unless they contribute to a goal you need 15 min to get a rating. Then the praising and criticizing, though tedious, will make a huge difference. I don't fiddle much with the training regimes, but once you go professional you can get a major benefit by micromanaging. Lots of guides online if you want to go that route. Also remember your coaches are still pretty bad at judging potential so there isn't always PA to be reached.

Popular Post Nottingham Forest
Season 2 2024-25 Season Vanarama National League North Season Summary A very mixed back of a season that saw us fail to meet the top half expectations. Although a strong finish has managed to enable me to secure a new two year deal on slightly reduced terms. In the FA Trophy we didn't do much but the FA Cup we managed to get to the third round beating some decent clubs. Overall we made about £300k-£400k from the run. Youth Intake Whilst it doesn't mean alot. A group of all 'A's' is a good sign for us. The intake didn't disappoint as there were 8 elite talents who could all make the grade and I do believe some of the lesser talents could be retrained or have a chance. The best four for me right now are below but I do feel that if we can get them to improve then we're onto a winner. Personalities are bit hit and miss based on my limited knowledge but it's a work in progress. Other Bits JJ Hooper decided that he was going to leave on a free at the start of the season and we've not been able to persuade him to stay. Although he was 31 and not as prolific this season he'll be a big loss. Gary Liddle also left the club as he retired along with the released Blair Adams. That's cleared £3,300 from the wage bill. Rest of transfers below. Despite the FA Cup run that did net us some decent funds we're still operating at a heavy loss and the owner has put in £625k to take us out of the red. He took over from the previous owner at the start of the season. We've also had our training facilities downgraded and gone part-time. Professional Perfectionist Model Professional Model Citizen Resolute Spirited Fairly Professional Then I look for Working With Youngsters, Judging CA, and Judging PA. It has to be minimum 5. The higher the better in regards to attributes. Followed, by Discipline, Determination, and Motivation because aside from being your HOYD they are a still a coach. So look for coaching stats that are decent. Previously, I looked at Media Handling but I don't know if it's still a big factor for your youth intake. When looking for a HOYD, don't shy away from finding a former player that retired. A last resort is getting a regen staff as your HOYD. I couldn't get a former player as my HOYD for my Tampico Madero save, I'm running it with a regen. Also, be patient with your HOYD because it takes several intakes before their influence is properly maximized.

Media Handling just gives more specifics on the hidden attributes, so it is equally important to personality (just sometimes doesn't tell you much). @v1n1akabozo i posted earlier in this thread of how to interpret these two in concert and links to pages to help give you the attribute ranges. Another important thing is the "Tactical Style" you want to avoid Catenaccio & Park the Bus (imo) as these generate low skill defensive players. Any of the others have worked for me. My current HOYD changes between Vert Tiki-Taka / Tiki-Taka & Fluid Counter-Attack. No idea why.

Popular Post benrollo
FK Zemun - 2026/27 Season Review League Position - 12th (4th in Group B Final Phase) -- RELEGATION AVOIDED Manager Overview Survival! It tastes so sweet. We were pretty much carried single-handed by The Bozzman, but I'm not going to complain! In the end, there were a few teams who were just worse than us, and with another strong end to the season in the final phase (3 wins and 2 draws in our 7 games), we squeaked ourselves one place above the relegation playoff by 1 point. A big sign that the times are changing at the club came in the form of our top 3 performers all being youth academy graduates for the first time. Bozic (7.35 Avg Rating) led the way of course, followed by Nikola Cakic 26-1 (6.87) and Nikola Pejovic 25-1 (6.78). Not great ratings overall, but the sign of a season of struggle I suppose. We did manage to set a Super League record this season though! When the youth candidates preview came through, there was a bit of a contradiction. An apparent 5-star class, but only 3 A-rated positions. I was intrigued to see what that meant when the class graduated. What it meant was a pretty decent looking class, with 6 elite talents. Our headliner managed 10 senior games after signing his contract - let's take a look. Igor Pavlovic 27-1 Jovica Mihajlovic 27-2 Ivan Vlajic 27-3 Bringing up the...er...elite rear were Matija Tripkovic 27-4, Dragan Milunovic 27-5 and Srdan Mihajlovic 27-6. Not as much to report off the field this season. The board were too scared to lose me to let me go on a coaching course, and again our finances mean improving our facilities are a long way off. We did however manage a double upgrade to our recruitment, meaning it is now at an exceptional level! Could next season be our first with a prospect from more than about 3 miles away? Financially we are doing OK. I'm hoping we can stick around in the division as our youngsters continue to develop, but as with the last two seasons a lot of that rides on keeping hold of Bozic!

Mind linking the thread? You would hope/think that they would just delay it for the next few years. It is not like they are going to postpone it forever... hubwub
CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2024/2025 Youth Academy Assessment There are now 22 Youth Products in the club. Where are they from? I learned new things about Tampico. It's by the Gulf of Mexico. The current iteration of the club is a phoenix club of sorts and the old one is now Club Atlético La Paz. Miscellaneous More money. Maybe, I can get upgrades for the club now?!

BrightLad5
Enjoying reading the posts already from this seasons YACs! I'm going to be starting my own version of this. It is unofficial as I am going to be using the pre-game editor to complete the playing squad and add in the 10 or so missing players from my chosen team so that the club feels more complete. I do have a questions though if anyone can advise me? Do you offer part time contracts to all your players to ensure that you keep hold of them or do you leave the majority as non-contract and hope for the best? I know the wage total ramps up quickly if you offer lots of part time wage contracts so wondered what most people do?
Nottingham Forest
I do try to offer as many contracts early doors. However, it can hamper you like it did with me if older players quality drop below what you’d expect. I had Gary Liddle on £1500 and Lewis Alessandra on £1200. Plus a few others. That meant I’ve lost Boney & Hooper at the end of each season. It’s getting the right balance so you’re not lumbered with players who fall away but also so you don’t lose quality.
