Indonesia reset date is around the 1st June this year (That is not exact). I was holidaying and it was sometime between 26 May and 2nd June

So we are out of BETA.  I was wanting to start a new game in Poland with Polonia but im having alot of fun in Turkiye...so I'm going to continue for a while

K.S.C. Lokeren-Temse

A club formed following the bankruptcy of two-times cup winner Sporting Lokeren through a merger with amateur side KSV Temse.

Can we make a comeback? Or will it end in another financial disaster? (I am aware of the problems in Belgium)

We start with the oldest squad in the league and without promising youngsters from the intake in the first season - and of course with no experience and knowledge (sorry for the german screenshot, didn't think to switch before taking it)

 

And one question at the start: Where can I change the responsibility for the youth intake to another member of my staff if I don't have a Head of Youth Development? Can't find it after so many years, I didn't need it. Thanks

Good luck in Belgium. If you don't have a HOYD than I would suggest that you take a staff member with the best personality for youth intakes.

You will be our trigger if they have solved the financial issues in Belgium. If so I will restart in Belgium.

Ettan Fotboll Division 1 Norra (2nd / Promotion!!!)

 

My god, what a season this was! We finished 2nd on the final day of the season. We won our own game against Nyköpings BIS, while Sandvikens IF lost their game against Karslunds IF. So we whipped over them, finish 2nd and qualified for promotion playoffs.

Here we faced GIF Sundsvall. We won our home match with 2-1.

But then the away game. They were clearly the better team, we were lucky that it was only 2-1. It was only a matter of time until they scored their 3rd goal. But then, in extra time, our youngster Brasse Löfberg 25d (who just came through the youth ranks this season!) scored the equaliser: 2-2! We did it!!! WE ARE GOING UP! Superettan, here we come!

The best news item we could get is this one:

So because of our promotion, the club is turning fully professional!!!
That is very, very, very welcome.
 

Best youth academy layers
The best youth players this season were striker Erik Eriksson 24h, winger Milton Briland 24b and midfielder Milton Mellanmyr 23c. Eriksson 24h became our topscorer with 17 goals in total.

Youth intake

The preview was again very promising. The intake itself was great!! Lots of Elite talents. I'm very happy with this intake, some of them already got some playtime this season.

In the staff tab, you should have an option that says: "Player Reports". Then, one should be "Provides Youth Development information". 

Im not IG, but i think that is the way.

Then you can check in the Youth Candidates, in the under 19 squad, if the person that you choose is in fact the one responsible.

An Andorran file is out already and it is three tiers.  I have tested it for seven seasons by holidaying and it appears to be all ok.  It is by Timo and his files are normally quite good.

Well done. But I think you have to "document" your achievements with season updates in the thread.

Season 29/30 (7th) - Süper Lig

Transfers / Players

The best season so far. And I'm getting to enjoy teh save more and more. 2nd place. We did not fight for the championshop and ware 3rd-4th spot most of the year. Antalyaspor just gave it away at the end. Fener with 24th championship and Real just extends its CL amount. Also curious to see both MBAPPE and HALLAND not in top 3.

Halfway the season I made a hard decision to replace our captain ACAR in teh goal with BALCI who seems to have surpassed him. But otherwise no changes in the first team so maybe that helped with getting into teh winning mood. We had this seaosn the most won games...but we just lost too many. We also score the most goals...but also gave away too many as our diff is only 15. 2-3 seasons to go and we can properly fight for the championship. One things that does worry me is that we lost 4,5mln this season. Our youth is just too expensive. We need the european cups money! We got into the qualies for CL so lets see.

Always nice to be wanted. And national teams are always nice...so it was hard to say no to that salary.

Another AMAZING intake. I just love turkiye for that.

And the best of teh bunch is another goaly. BAS is perfectionist...already 2,5 star ability (just below our main goaly it seems) and  full potential. Will this be our first player to make the national team? Look at the Handling btw....already 17!. Amazing newgen.

Season 9 - 2031/32

National League - 1st - Champions

 

 

Superb season. I used a system I'd played in FM22 at Mamelodi Sundowns to amazing effect, a 4-2-4 with high tempo passes into space. We blew the league away with 123 goals. Don't get me wrong, we have a very good team for this level so the 2nd promotion in 3 years came as no surprise. League Two will be a much greater challenge as some of our players are starting to hit their peak.

I was gutted to get knocked out of the FA Trophy in the Quarter Final. A 2-3 loss in extra time against Oldham Athletic.

Off the pitch, the move to Professional status cost us. We're losing ~£200k a month, due to wages and Youth Setup. the latter of which shot up despite having had no further investment. Of the MacFarlane money, £2.7m is left which will basically be gone next season unless we can increase our income (somehow).

 

Star Players

Bekir Twigg 28i - ST - 45 goals in 42 games. Developed into a player that's way too good for this level, and his high loyalty means I reckon we can keep hold of him.
Stanley Majafi 30i - AMR - 17 assists. I've still yet to figure out how to get my wingers to contribute actual goals, but he was a creative force.
Alieu Jawara 28d - DC - Was the last to sign a pro contract. Crucial in preventing me from conceding more.

Next Season

I'd like to think we can finish around mid-table and grow from there. Might look to sell a player if finances continue to deteriorate. We're currently renting Solihull Moors' stadium, but that won't be enough for League Two. I'm curious to see what happens on that front, can see us building a low capacity stadium in the near-future, which will basically just delete all my money.

Motor Lublin - Season 1 - Introducing Ourselves

So now that the main game has finally come out, I have decided to finally start up my first attempt of the Youth Academy Challenge save in Football Manager 2023. We're managing in Poland because I have not managed in Poland before and nobody else was managing there at the time I decided to take over Motor Lublin in Poland.

Why is my manager's name Piotr Sławiński? Well, he was a newgen that appeared in my beta save while I was managing in Colombia and he generated in Germany and also had that nationality.

The reason why I took over Motor Lublin is pretty simple, they have one of the best facilities out of the clubs that I could have taken over in the division.

The board are expecting us to avoid relegation this season, which could be rather challenging to say the least.

The supporters want us to remain in the I Liga, which is ominous to me since they have moderate influence on the board and if they turn, I will not be enjoying myself.

The club is expected to finish in 15th place on the 28th June 2023, which could change when the players who are currently on loan to the club leave us. So when we do see all of the loans leave the teams in the league, it'll be interesting to see where we'll be on the 1st July.

We have the 11th highest sponsorship income, which probably isn't really enough to cover the financial outgoings, so hopefully this is something we can improve upon sooner rather than later.

As for stadiums, we have the 3rd biggest stadium in the league, which is also one of the reasons why I wanted to take over this side.

Nice  I saw the yt, you get the money at the end of the season for playing young players. Its quite nice money and easy to get in this challenge and when you get it you can go for facilities upgreat.

I would like to join the challenge, already 20th June 2023 now, but I'm not sure which team to choose... I would prefer Eskisehirspor, but I want to make sure it's possible and not against the rules or something

My other (a bigger challenge for sure...) option could be Nigde FK

 

As you can see, both teams are promoted, so they should be possible for the challenge, but it's weird that Eskisehir made a lot of transfers, while Nigde transfered no one.

2039/40 Youth Candidates

Finally some decent personalities, and we get a new DL & MR!

Now that the full game is out I've downloaded Tenshi's Luxembourg D3 database and have started a small country YAC with Wincrange in the North of Luxembourg.

For my manager I took my English captain at Guiseley: Luke Farrell.

Started with a decent sized squad, but they are all on amateur/non-contract.

We lost a few stars at the start of the season and were set up to play a full 11 + 4 subs including a GK. Then my starting striker broke his leg  in basically the first match of the season and will miss the whole campaign...

With who is left 6 are CBs so I'm playing a 5 at the back system. The only position we don't have a natural player is LWB, but I have a utility winger I can put there as well as a fast CB.

Supporters are just a handful, which is to be expected

I'll be switching between this and England as its so fast to play Luxembourg with just 30 game seasons and 1 cup competition.

Brønshøj BK - Review Season 1

Our final position looked closer than it really was. We were in the promotion group places for the entirety of the first half of the season until the last match before the split, when we drop into the relegation group. As you can see, second place to ninth place just above the relegation zone was separated by 5 points. Then I cared less about the results and more about giving the youth playing time, so we never eally got going after the mid season break.

Next year I'll try to play more friendlies during the (two month) midseason break, just look at our form before and after.

Finances are looking ok, we actually got a small amount of prize money. Our facilities are still poor and we are still an amateur side. Looking for more progression from the younger players in the squad next season and another intake for depth. Depth is especially important becausse of a league rule that requires 3 U21 players on the bench. That becomes annoying because I want to start my youth players, and regardless of how many I start, there still need to be three on the bench.

If I get sacked in the Tier 3 Database at any point it must mean I need to start further down the pyramid!

Interesting note of difference between the two is that the D3 has U18 leagues for teams in the top 2 divisions while the D5 has U21 leagues for teams across all leagues that doesn't have age restrictions on player eligibility. If for whatever reason my U18 fails to get added to a league I'll restart down in the D5 as I'd rather have U18 league and then loan vs an open reserve league.

The last matchday is June 16th and our first cup match was August 6th, so not much of an offseason. But how about this performance from the young keeper. A hattrick of one penalty and two free kicks to lead us to victory.

I released our original GK over the offseason since league rules require 3 U21 players and 1 GK on the bench. I'll start Pedersen and have another youth player kill two birds with one stone on the bench,

I have to say these disciplinary rules are making life very difficult when you only have 13 field players and they get suspended every yellowcard after 1.

You can just change the language every time you take a screenshot. It works well for me.

I'm testing it right now ! if it is solved, i'll consider to restart.. if not i will continue with my current Belgium / Berchem save, i'm in the middle of season 2.

You can't sign U18 staff , can't delegate it to your DoF or something.

You can't ask your assistant or Hoyd about training updates (u18) or let them arrange friendlies . And you can't move players from A team to U18 team , once a player is in your senior team , he can't be moved.
