Popular Post Cultured Left Foot
My Youth Academy Save is also a YouTube series on my channel here -> Cultured Left Foot (YouTube). The videos are more in depth and give details that aren't in my posts. As to be expected with a YouTube series, my challenge will have more updates than most on these forums. Its the End of Season One! And we have survived... Just! After a wonderful start to the season and looking nailed on for safety at the mid-point of the season, the form towards the end of the season was absolutely dreadful. The final league table saw us finish in 18th, 4 points above the relegation zone. More surprisingly, FC United had back to back promotions and went to the National League through the playoffs. As we got to the final parts of the season, we had some interesting news from our chairman that he was looking to step aside: But the news was good as it was the fans that were successful in taking back ownership of the club! Of course, we had our youth intake and it looked to be pretty decent for our first one, with a number of "elite" talents: We also had a number of "top" talent too. Needless to say, all youth players earnt contracts from the academy. The best looking players included Guyanese Jobe McKenzie, Hungarian goalkeeper Viktor Hevesi, as well as Englishmen Luke Rowe, Nat Ampadu and Paul Byrne and Irishmen Shame Tarmey. Our safety in the first season was achieved thanks to the 3 formations: With safety assured in the league, we chucked Jobe McKenzie and Net Ampadu into the first team to see what they could do.... Jobe didn't disappoint as he scored an absolute banger to put his name in the record books as the youngster goal scorer in Guiseley's history (and the League too!)! So... on to Season Two we go! And we have to deal with losing our best centre back and our best right back - who were far and away the best players at the club. Luckily we keep hold of Adam Haw and Jake Cassidy up front! Wish us luck! Cheers and thanks for the support. CLF/Dave Edited November 23, 2022 by Cultured Left Foot Formatting and Spelling
Popular Post BigJack
FC United - 2031/32 Season Preview Preview Predicted Finish = 23rd. Competitions Overview VNL - League Table (10th) FA Cup - Knocked out in the first round by Dulwich Hamlet. FA Trophy - Knocked out in the fourth round by Chester. So another solid season and one which proves my thoughts of last year, we are no longer one of the worst sides in the league. We made a decent start, and kept around the play offs/top half of the table all season before finishing in 10th. It may be 3 places lower than last season but we have definitely made progress this season. We just need to learn to see games out better and we could easily have grabbed a play off spot. Playing Squad Squad Transfers Seasons Best 11 Another season deep and the development is going nicely. We still have just the one legacy player in Onyeka and he is just too good to let go at the moment, another great season from him as he bagged 44 goals in 41 starts in all competitions. Hendon 28a again played as a RB due to the lack of options but with the emergence of Jarman 32a in this seasons intake, I may move him back to his natural CB position as I do think this will make us stronger in that department. Brook 30b had another solid season as did Crayston 31a in what was his breakout season. First 11 Gaye 27a Hendon 28a Turnbull 28d Walsh 29l Crayston 31a Donaldson 29k Jones 28c Brook 30b Mcdermott 24c Scanlon 29c Onyeka Others Schorah 27b Chaplow 31c Jabra 30a Youth Development Preview Intake Our first "normal" preview was a change from the usual all A's and it hasn't ended up the worst intake we have had. A mixed bunch of Personalities but we have at least 2 players who can play a role for us. Jarman 32a has finally given us a RB who looks like he can play a part and Smith 32b also looks like he can. Jarman 32a Smith 32b Philp 32c Mckenzie 32d Vince 32e Walters 32f We had our best run in the FA Youth Cup which include a brilliant 4-0 win over Burnley. Finances and Facilities Finances Facilities Another good season and I did decide to cash in on the Sell On Clauses for Hollis 24d and Al-Taib 24b. I waited until after the summer window closed and we got £1.1m instead of £1.5m. This pushed us to £2.2m in the bank but the board still refused to go pro. I have looked at other peoples saves and I think our next training facilities upgrade is going to cost between £1.2m and £1.8m so I am holding off to try and push us pro once the season ticket money comes in this summer. Other All Time Best 11 Club Records We are starting to get a lot of Youth Call Ups throughout the season, I like this though as it shows we are progressing at all levels. Brook 30b made his New Zealand Debut and has picked up 2 caps to date.
Fikru
So fun to read about everyones Journey. Doing a journy from the 4th tier in sweden with my hometown team. Very new to fm so its super fun, but sadla havent documentet they journey so I could share. But a short in text i could do, in my 5 season and finally got promotion arter knocking on the door for 4 seasons. Problem so that I have no youth thats better then the players i started with. So this will be a grind, but hoping i can stay in the 3 tier and progress. But my next save i will document and share, keep upp the reports everyone. Super fun!

HenTheChicken
Don't ask me to pronounce anything I encounter in this league. Welcome to denmark, I'm looking forward to getting some random Danish/Welsh youths. We're expected to "attempt to avoid relegation", so I'm going to be playing defensively and waiting for some superstars to come through. This is going to be fun.

Popular Post HenTheChicken
New team, same me. Not exactly the greatest season but we just managed to survive in the relegation group. Under 16s can't play so 12 of our youth players have to wait until next season for their first deam debuts, I've elected to play a 4-3-3 after trying some formations with 5 at the back, we're playing quite well but definitely a long way until we can even challenge for promotion. Not much to say right now, just need to keep playing. League Performance Spoiler This is the preliminary phase, looking at the table we definitely got lucky in the relegation scrap part. This was when I was trying to manage 5 at the back, spoiler, it wasn't going too well. We kept it respectably close though so I knew a comeback was possible. Thank god. Our form returned as we got the 4-3-3 going, so we managed to stay up by 7 points in the end. Not exactly the first season I had imagined or hoped for but it's a strong building block. European Performance Spoiler not exactly sure our squad knows about the european competitions nevermind is playing in them (they're quite bad) Cup Performance Spoiler Second round, we got knocked out 2-0 by a 3F Superliga club, pretty happy with it to be honest. Youth Intake Spoiler Pretty fine, obvious highlight is my man Jacob Rasmussen, who can play everywhere and more. Quite funny, this guy is similar to a lot of my mumbles intakes and its season one, looking forward to seeing this continue! The Squad Spoiler Quite an aggressive strategy with everything in mind. We've got some talents and I hope we'll keep some of them for the upcoming seasons. Not much else to say. Popular Post Neo_Geo
Season Review Spoiler So this was a season of transition after losing 3 first team players in the last 2 windows. Replacements came from Season 4's intake and one from Season 2 who was only touted as a top prospect. It's fair to say that I couldn't really have asked for a better season losing only 1 game leading up to the split then another 3 losses in the 10 games post split. The best eleven in the infographic paints a picture of the season with 9 out of the 11 averaging over the 7.00 mark, it was a truly spectacular effort by the squad. Finishing second and qualifying for the Champions Play Off seemed like a great end to the season and I wasn't expecting much from the 3 games against Basel however we won the first match 4-1 away from home that set things up nicely for the home leg given Basel had just played Young Boys in the Swiss Cup Final going to extra time in the process and then losing. We then lost Baldo just before the game with a broken lower leg ruling him out for around 5 months, so up stepped Carobbio (Elite5) to keep a clean sheet and allow us to sneak a 1-0 win in the last 10 mins and seal the title for the first time! The dilemma is Boris Mandli (Elite2) as he has now won the European Golden Shoe two years running (this year beating Real Madrid's Vlahovic - same points but less game time). He is now currently playing at the Euro's with Switzerland (4 goals in 5 caps) and he is entering his final year of his contract. Currently he won't speak to me due to him focusing on the Euros however when that is over I can't see him talking to me so I have to decide on whether to offer him out with an emphasis on future sale and miss out on his goals or let the contract run out and lose him for nothing. To put it into perspective we scored 66 goals in the league and he scored 40 of them so he is a HUGE part of this squad and the way we play. Here are the two understudies that I rate the highest: I like the look of Cantarella (Elite5) and with the Determined personality he probably has the better chance of growth (however if either are first choice they are bound to improve). The facilities are not yet fully upgraded, we don't pay out particularly large wages for players or staff and our stadium is still only 5k capacity so there is still a need for money (however champions league money will be on the way next year). It's going to be a tough call to make. In NxGn 2028 it was a first appearance for Mandli and Duda with Pereira climbing from 12th to 5th Supporter profile has not changed but nearly at 400k social media followers. The average attendance is now over 4k so its coming along nicely. Next season is all about Mandli and whether I keep him and pray he talks (he won't) or sell and develop an understudy and undoubtedly take a hit in the results due to the absence of his goals. In the champions league we go straight into the groups so we get the money (great) and we are in with the big boys so it will be a case of trying to hold our own and not get embarrassed (though this years results saw us beat Betis, AEK and Standard and draws against Everton and Marseille but the step up is incredible). Really enjoying the save right now so holding off on starting a secondary save for the time being
Popular Post JLAB
Motor Lublin - Season 4 - Season Preview Heading into the next season, we're predicted to finish in 17th place, which really shows just how much of an overachievement finishing in 3rd place last season was. We've been given a relatively kind draw for the Europa Conference League 2nd qualifying round, so hopefully we'll be able to do well and get some more kind draws. If we are to do well this season, we'll need our 3 best players to do well, and our best player in the squad is Marcel Złomańczuk, a left-back who has been in the squad since we took over the team, he's one of two incredible talents in the full-back positions. The other best player in the full-back position is on the other side. Michał Król is not only our best right-back, but he is also our captain too. Given he's got a resolute personality, he's also a prime candidate to mentor some of the youngsters with poor personalities. Damian Sędzikowiski is our best CM who I am hoping will make us really good. He's been our best midfielder who has been producing some of the goals that has won us important matches. He'a another talent who I have been able to develop since I took over the club. Hopefully, between our two exciting full-backs and Sędzikowiski, we can once again shock the Ekstraklasa this season. Popular Post HenTheChicken
"Definitely a long way until we can even challenge for promotion" - me, a bit ago. Well, I guess I was right. I didn't challenge for promotion. I grabbed it and never looked back., we've changed to a 4-2-4 after getting a great striker in our youth intake, think I'll go to the 4-4-2 I used in mumbles though, its producing some decent results in some other saves so I think I'll put it in here too. Lets see how we do in the league above, bit scary as we clearly aren't good enough. League Performance Spoiler Cup Performance Spoiler Third round, that is undeniable progress! Youth Intake Spoiler No major highlights, just solid players who'll fill up the first team and will develop well (hopefully) The Squad Spoiler Very aggressive, didn't work as well as I hoped it would. Popular Post HenTheChicken
Right, I've got good news and bad news. Good news is we stayed up by quite a bit, never really in danger of relegation but never really able to push into the promotion group, so we came 2nd in the relegation group which felt quite good. Bad news is we're in crippling debt because I went a little bit overboard on the junior coaching and youth recruitment, happens to the best of us I swear! Next season I'm going for promotion group because we desperately need money, so I'll be pushing the squad farther than they can probably take us. I got some good prospects, my personal favourite is my new temperamental faroese midfielder. Love that guy already. He's also the Faroe Islands under 18s Vice-captain, which I think is quite cool. League Performance Spoiler Good end to the league season, the new youth prospects buffed up my team a bit and this form shows that we might be able to compete in the promotion group (fingers crossed!) Cup Performance Spoiler Second round again, we really need a cup run to get some finances back. Youth Intake Spoiler Good talent here, hope they develop or its a bit of a waste. Here's rogvi, our faroe islands midfielder, ignore that he's not making progress for a second I'm just loving him, he's playing quite well. The Squad Spoiler They're nearly used to the 4-4-2 now so I feel a good season incoming

We just got 13 points out of the second half of the season, our aging star and main man Gushterov had a massive goal drought and didn't score a single goal in the last 10 matches. Without having any alternatives, this meant to be the end. At MD 34, Litex grabbed the points to catch us, so we got relegated. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Marine A.F.C. - Season 2024/25 (Season 2) - Vanarama National League North Squad | Transfers | Finances A very good season for us! I've been trying to give the youngsters more chances this season, and most of them has taken the opportunity well. Maine Croasdale 23f has become a key figure in the DM-role and his development has been off the charts! Additionally Eden Mboyo 23g is also developing really good. On the pitch we had a good start, and we soon found ourselves in a battle for a playoff spot. A bit up and down throughout the season, but a very strong end to the season secured the spot for us as we finished 4th. In the First round we had a tough match against Chester that didn't get resolved until extra time when we finally got the winning goal. In the Semi final, we got Spennymoor, a team we for some reason always play well against. And we did by beating them comfortably. In the final we got Boston United, and in a very hard battle that was 3-3 at full time, also went to extra time where we found two late goals to clinch the promotion! Up we go! Also, I REALLY love this board, they accept things! Also, we are expanding the stadium to fit the requirements. FA Cup: We beat Bamber Bridge and Leamington before losing to Halifax Town in the 4th qualifying round.FA Trophy: We beat Darlington, Buxton, and Blyth Spartans before losing to Boston United in the 5th round. U21 Team: They only played friendlies. U18 Team: They finished 5th in the National U18 League South West this season. Popular Post fries
Championship 2029/30 (season 7) Season Summary After 3 promotions in row I thought we should fight to avoid relegation. But we started out very well. We competed for a playoff spot, but bad form in December meant that we did not achieve it. However, it was close in the end. Byran was the topscorer of the league again for the fourth season and league in row. But his partner in front, Walters, was my greatest player once again. The rest of the team developed very well and also performed good. My best players: N'Guessan was again on the NXGN list. Douglas: Mäkinen: The youth intake preview looked great. Lots of A's and but for the first time not 5 stars. The intake was really great with Smith as the best player I have ever gotten from a youth intake Championship quality from the beginning. No significant transfers this season. Finances and Upgrades No upgrades this season. And we are started to have financial problems. There are rumors about a new takeover and I hope that will clear the dept. Or that we can promote before I have to sell a star player.Next season Next season, I hope to keep developing my players. I hope to keep my best players, Walters, Smith, and N'Guassan. If the players can continue to develop I hope we can get a playoff spot and thus maybe get a chance to promote.

Luxembourgo Porto Season 8 2030-31: BGL Ligue (Tier 1) Intro & Club | Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 |Season 7 | Squad | Transfers |Facilities | Finances | Supporters Competitions: Cup Back to our old ways bowing out right away in the 2nd round Spoiler League Back again to BGL taking one more year to reach than my last failed attempt with ASSL Fels hoping for a better outcome. Even before the season started the board pulled one over on me changing from first 'attempt to avoid relegation', to then forcing me to choose 'relegation playoff' to then judging me on 'avoid relegation'. Great, 700 - 1 odds again and if I don't keep the team up I'll most likely be fired. Spoiler (Lost the first screenshot) Then before the season even starts, the AI comes in for all my GKs. First they came for my backup Rafael Benchimol 02i who left for Yellow Boys in T2. Then they came for my starter Celso Gois 04o, who was upset because of that **** Training Facility Promise so on a non-contract. Then this emotional roller-coaster happens: Spoiler NO WAY HE REJECTED THE CONTRACTS! AND NOW HE'S HAPPPY. And we sign him onto a p/w contract so no one can steal him! This here literally could be the reason we stay up. With that stroke of amazing luck I was able to hold onto the entire squad that got us promoted giving us the best possible chance at survival. Historically 35 points in 30 games guaranteed survival. At the end of November, I was pretty happy with our progress with a balanced: 5-3-5 record, 18 Points in 9th place. Spoiler Then the slump came. In December & January we went 2-0-6 and I started getting worried as we were falling behind the pace required to hit 35. Our only saving grace is the bottom of the table did just as miserably as we did and we held onto 10th place this entire time with our 2 wins being important against other relegation candidates. Also in our favor was the fact we were doing well when January 1st hit so the board let me negotiate-down the vision back to 'relegation playoffs'. Better than nothing right? Spoiler After January the league slows down with only 2-3 games a month so I can beat up on lower-league teams to build up morale and my starters can get much needed rest. It helped kind of? We basically split each month till we got the dreaded "Relegation Scrap" Inbox message: Spoiler The issue is we do not have a kind end of the season and with only +5 above the relegation playoffs and +8 from true relegation, I was not liking what we had before us for the final 5 matches (inbox message only shows 4) Spoiler We play extremely poorly with only our home win against Differdange keeping us alive. Once we lost the dreadful match against Rosport where we just couldn't hit the target we set ourselves just a single point above Titus Petange in the relegation playoff position. Thankfully, the bottom teams didn't do quite well enough to threaten us with a direct relegation. But that doesn't mean the board wouldn't fire us anyways... Spoiler This sets us up for our final match. And who is against, oh only the only Professional club in Luxembourg (right now) Una Strassen. Our only saving grace is the fact they have had a really off season resulting in their head coach getting fired in March and their new head coach only being in the job since 3/16, so still working out his system. This is also a grudge match against Una Strassen who beat us last season in the Cup Final: Spoiler What a bounce back after such an early goal. Don't even mind the late second by them as we had shifted more defensive at that point to see off the game. Even though its no trophy celebration these beating-the-odds survival runs are equally thrilling! Final Table: Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Spoiler Youth Intake Came during my fight for survival, but of course due to the rules in Luxembourg none can be used till the next registration window. Our HOYD is starting to find good talent, but the dreadful personalities of the squad are showing up in these players Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler Just Awful personalities ruining some quality players. Salvador Rangel provides me a second option for my CM(A) player, which is welcome but I might just move him to RM as that is a position we are particularly weak in. Francisco Pacheco is unfortunately casual so what could have been a big man CM will probably amount to nothing The first good personality is Joao Alves who will be our #2 LM even though he’s slow We get another FB so now I’ll have two sets actually which is good to rotate them more. Last is a slow either-footed true big man striker. If I want to try a 2 man system at any point he would be a perfect TM/PF Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights We have our first youth internationals this year! Because I loaded Portugal from he start these are much more realistic Luxembourg callups. Both started as U19 in the Fall, but by Spring Aiton Junior 05j got the nod for the U21 squad! Spoiler Club Infrastructure The board is currently planning our new stadium. At the start of the season the Planned Capacity shown in the Facility view was just ~1.2k, which is tiny. Thankfully by the end of the season they upgraded to a much more useful 5,750 full seater! Coaching Badges None Thoughts WE SURVIVED! It was so close to a repeat failure I was truly worried. Our intake reinforcements should make next season a little less nervy, but it will still be a challenge. We really need our GK to improve (he didn't gain ability due to his low ratings this year). I did change up coaches once the season ended as we are able to actually attract not god-awful talent to get us at least decent coaching in our still Level 1 facilities. Are whole team is still U21 so they have a lot of maturing to do, and hopefully they can do enough to keep us up in the BGL while they do. Popular Post the_hdk
Kaf Sin Kaf Season 38/39 (Final) - Süper Lig Transfers / Players Well this is it. The Final season. 16 seasons it took me...and we finish in style with a quadruple!. We finish with 8 championships, 2 cups, 6 super cups and one champions league. Kaan Dobra has finished his goal! More about the CL finale at the end. I see I forgot to update the Ballon d'Or on teh pcture and im too lazy to go back but it was won by SEGURA spanish player playing for Chelsea. With 93 points we really dominated this season. We also finish with 466 mln EUR in the bank. Sadly still no affiliates and no improvement of youth facilities. Epic finish. Youth Last year intake was amazing. Three elite players who can make the first team. Especially TASKAN with resolute persoality is high potential. For the last update and overview of all intake players per region. Aegean with 207 is the big winner. Altough last few years we ware getting more and more players from all over Turkiye. Key Players And the three key players of this save BAS (vice captain) was a brilliant goaly. In the CL final he saved two huge opportunities and we could not have done it without him. YALCIN the Captain. The leader. The rock. Already 58 caps at age of 26, he will probably end up with around 100. The first Wonderkid we had and i'm more than happy that he stayed till the end with us. Giving him the armband was vital in that. GULERYUZ the star striker...already 20 goals for Turkiye...his pace is amazing and he was the MoM of the final. His goal was crucial (altough he had 4 1 on 1 chances). Champions League Final The teams: 1-0 from GULERYUZ. Easy tuck in 5th minutae. It was our 3rd chance of the game already. Blitzball baby. 1-1 from Barcelona in 84th min from Romanian SALI. It gave hope to the Catalonians. 2-1 in 91st min! the winning goal after a great run by VURAL. The celebrations...continued for 4 days in Turkiye (and continued long after the cup final). And so we win...and I finish the challange. I loved it. First time I managed to finish it in three years. Sadly Turkiye didn't have alot of foreign intake but I loved playing there. Alot of interesting clubs with rich history. Amazing intakes...much better than I remember in Poland or Netherlands.

Sorry @HenTheChicken!!! good luck!!!! hehe thanks. I personally thought I would need 2-3 more seasons...but something clicked this year and we ware playing amazing. It probably helped that I changed one defender. Also we had luck in our game against Man City in QF. We won in extra time. Luck is everything
