sgevolker
A lot of fun, ....... not Well it escalate quickly and I got sacked after 10 Games in Season 2. It stated good with a 5:0 win over Osnabrück but then a really bad streak with a lot of injuries and losses hit us. Honestly I had no chance to avoid this, it feels bad not to get any chance from the board. Well, I don't know if I try this again Respect for everyone here who get such great results. Popular Post darren1983
Season 2023/24 Vanarama National League North League - Going into the season I knew we had a strong squad, one of the main advantages of being South Shields is they are full time from the off and have a good sized squad. Target was playoffs for me but we pretty quickly found ourselves in title battle with Altrincham, while we were top for the entire battle they were always within a few points of us meaning we could never settle. The season came down to the final 2 months, going into it Altrincham had only lost 3 times all season (twice against us) while we had lost 5 but drawn less, it was in this period we put on the afterburners and won 9 of our final 12 games (drawing the other 3) while Altrincham (who had to play 2 games more than us) only won 6 and lost 5 to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race leaving us to cruise to the title with a new league record 108 points FA Cup - a decent run where we made the first round proper but lost to League 2 Rochdale. 3-0 was harsh as their 2nd and 3rd goals came in the final 2 minutes as we pushed for a goal FA Trophy - another good run here as we made the quarter finals before not turning up on the day against Halifax Transfers - none in and just the one out Squad - It's a big squad for this level but does give me decent cover pretty much every where Finances - they're not great but that's not a shock Youth Intake - well the preview looked promising and it turned out OK. I try not to get too excited about these players so early on as I'm still in the process of building the youth side of the club but I still tagged 6 players Callam Barras YP01A - his finishing is poor but could be a decent pressing forward or even DLF for us in timeQuinn Heardman YP01B - wing back (which I don't play and neither does my HoYD so no idea how he came through) but he's already trained in the RB position so can add some depth thereJohnni Jorgensen YP01C - A promising CBAdam Joyce YP01D - we need depth at CM and he provides itAboubacar Diallo YP01E - Same as above really. If one, or both ideally, progress then should be squad options for usDion Thomas YP01F - another wing back, and on the same bloody side, but looking now I think he could be the better player in the end if he can overcome his less than ideal personality Career Overview Season League Position Note’s & Achievements 2023/24 NLN 1st Promotion as champions, first coaching badge
Daddy
2029/30 Midseason Review: Going as I had hoped. The young players are getting more experience. Not scoring as much as I'd like though so still some concern. Intake Preview: Disappointing looking. Always can use good fullback so no complaint there, but we're ok on keepers so I don't need another. I want a goal scorer.
Popular Post Redknapp_13
Hapoel Ra'anana Season Review Season 29/30 Table - Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers - Finances Great Season. For the first time we got into the championship group. We had no chance playing for the title but a excellent 4th place finish secured us a spot in the qualification rounds for the Conference League. It was pretty close to get in, but then we secured some nice wins to get 4th. Liel Barrett 25A played a great last season for us, he will be heading to Salernitana at the end of his contract after 143 appereances for Hapoel Ra'anana. Klemi Ben-Melech 27B is becoming our best player but I dont think we will be able to hold him for much longer, as he has a release clause and alot of clubs want him. Same for Koral BAr-On 27A. We finally have a new left back with Avihai Gabay 28F, who progressed nicely and became our first team choice. In the center of the defense, it was Moshe Goren 26C, who progressed even more and Lidan Sa'ar 26A in defensive midfield. With more matches next season, i will have to rotate more players in. In central midifield it is Liran Dayan from last years intake who is already on the level of our two top midfielders Intake 30 Alot of As and with the depart of Barrett and the potential depart of Ben-Melech I was hoping for a nice winger Well it was not the winger, instead it is looking like a great Defensive midfielder and a great GK. But also Brami and Maric are not looking too bad. All in all, very happy with the intake Love to see that fairly professional personality with Cohen I am hoping he is developing well, as GK is the only position we dont have a intake player in the starting 11 yet Just sucks, that I am not able to upgrade the youth facilities and they stay on an average Edited November 30, 2022 by Redknapp_13
Brentmeister
I was trying to start a save in Colombia last night, as it was one of the uncompleted countries, but after 2 seasons of simming, no new teams were promoted into div 2. Not sure if you need to sim further like The Netherlands or if it's just unavailable to this challenge, thought i'd mention it.

What are the requirements for them to get an invite? Besides the youth level, club reputation and perhaps even facilities levels, what else is taken into account? Is there anything I can do to help us get an invite? FWIW, youth level is at 3, junior and youth recruitment are maxed out, training and youth facilities are average and reputation is at (2 star) regional. Also, how long did it take you guys to get your U23 squad invited to a league? I want to get an idea of how long we'll have to wait. The youth leagues are based on a youth level, but also a "first come, first serve". So what you can do is get the youth level up to 1, and then just wait. You have to wait until another team either withdraws their youth team (as you can do when you are asked if you want to join the league every season), or have their youth level reduced. Then you will be asked to join if you are the best candidate. In FM20, I think my team joined after 4 or 5 seasons at youth level 1, but this is from the top of my head, so don't quote me on it. Still, those are the requirements, max youth level, then chance. Edit: Also, in FM23 this should be easier, based on this: Quote A feature that many have been calling for on our forums, all user-controlled Under-18 and Under-23 teams can now receive invites to active youth leagues, even if those teams have been created after your save game began. Popular Post XaW
Currently selling my 4th choice centre back to West Ham for (relatively) loads of cash! russ the womble
Attempt number.... god knows.. going back to the first attempt.. Realised I've made a few mistakes in past games, not really paying close attention to the HOYD preferences and getting tactics completely wrong - I always had counter turned on because I thought it had little downside and then watching games seeing my defence continually hit the balls up the pitch and losing possession. I probably should have thought that through a bit more! Seems a rookie mistake. Edited November 30, 2022 by russ the womble

Popular Post Bartrcm
Cottbus - Bundesliga 2 - Season 2025-2026 Predicted: 17th Final position: 11th We had a good first season in the second division. We were never in any relegation battle, and were the complete season just below mid-table. Finishing in 11th place is very good. Next season I think we will have a much harder season, as a lot of our older players refuse to sign a new contract, so we will have to put in a lot youngster, and I'm not sure they all be ready for second division football. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: we had a very good cup run with eliminating a first division team Hannover 96 before being kicked-out by Stuttgart in the 1/8 final. Stuttgart made it to the final were they lost against Bayern. Transfers: None Youth intake: We had a good preview and also a good intake, but no player was standing out. We gave 8 youngsters a contract. Jerome Grupp (YP3a): ST Ali Brunneman (YP3b): ST Maximilan Sturm (YP3c): ML Christof Geisler (YP3d): GK Again our best prospects are attacking players, so I'm thinking of changing my HOYD. Finances: We finally made some money, and also our new stadium is ready. We could upgrade our youth facilities, but the board keeps refusing upgrading our youth recruitement. They want me to use the transfer market instead of developing our own youth.

You have a lower-monetized domestic league for a nation that produces top-tier players so that a larger percentage of income comes from selling developing talent. I get the feeling SI tweaked the finances this year to get more of that experience and just went a little overboard / didn't properly adjust the AI decision-making to compensate. Because we limit our acquisition of young talent we break the balance they were probably shooting for where if you play in these countries you need to really utilized their re-vamped scouting to constantly be bringing in new young high potential players to flip them for profit. Popular Post grff
Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2029/30 Season Review Best league finish yet as we finished in the European group but missed out on the top qualifying spot. A tycoon board takeover never materialised so we still are struggling to stay in the black with our finances come the end of each season. Stats wise, we had an increase in green ratings and had a season where the top scorer got into double figures! Youth intake was pretty standard. Still no striker coming through which we desperately need. Transfers out. We are in a position where a couple of senior players are leaving on a bosman come the end of next season as they aren't happy that I've not strengthened the squad. I have no clue why we are as prolific as we currently are! And this is also the fastest I've ever climbed upwards in the English league system. I am very happy we are in the Championship next season as we only have one more promotion to go before we finally can get in money again! This season also included a couple of big sales to garner the income to get our first ever youth facility upgrade. I also hope this means we get an improved youth level next season, fingers crossed. Quite the eventful season where the only drawback was a quite poor youth intake. I guess it was due after I had gotten quite a few good ones on the trot, though. Looking forward to seeing how the improved youth facilities will impact the next intake next season, hopefully we get a good return on our investments. We've also started the presumably long process of building a new stadium. Popular Post BigJack
FC United 2032/33 - Season 10 Season Preview Season Preview Predicted Finish: 16th Competitions Overview VNL - League Table (1st) FA Cup - Our best run yet as we got to the 3rd round and a very profitable tie away at Liverpool. We did ourselves proud as the game ended 4-2. FA Trophy - We lost in the QF to Solihull Moors. It has taken 10 seasons but we are finally a Football League club. We started the season really well and just kept on picking up the points. We had a bit of a blip post Christmas but led the league for the majority of the season without ever really running away with it as Barrow stayed in the hunt all season. We sealed the title on the Last day and can look forward to a first season in professional football next year. Playing Squad Squad Transfers Best 11 The team is really starting to play some fantastic football and we blew away some teams this year. Going professional next year means renewing everybody's contracts over the coming summer and this is going to be fun as most are wanted by bigger clubs so will want decent pay rises. We do have a really decent squad now with back up in most areas. As its the 10th season I thought id do a break down of the squad as we head into our first season as a professional club. GK - Gaye 27a - 244 games for the club so far for our first choice keeper and he gets better with every passing season. Is also Kenya's first choice keeper becoming the clubs first player to play at a Major International tournamemt at the 2033 AFCON. RB - Hendon 28a - 188 games for the club. Is more suited to a CB role but our lack of RBs means he has filled in and done very well there for 3 seasons. Has been hinting at moving on to a bigger club but I am hoping a good start in League 2 can convince him otherwise. LB - Crayston 31a - One of our absolute stars and already teams like Watford, Bournemouth and Fulham are circling. 86 games already at just 17 shows how high I rate him. He has been capped by Eng u18s also. CB - Jabra 30a - Plays mainly CB but also fills in at CM if needed and does a job in either role. Has played 113 times for us scoring 10 goals so can be a threat at the other end also. Capped by Scotland u20s and is off to the u20 World Cup this summer. CB - Turnbull 28d - A real solid CB at this level. Has featured 196 times for us and hopefully theres many more to come. Won a few caps for Scotland u19s. CM - Donaldson 29k - He wasnt rated much on intake day but has come on leaps and bounds since then. 123 games for us and he wont be leaving anytime soon. Capped at u20 level for Ireland. CM/AMC - Mcdermott 24c - The sole survivor of our first intake and hes been a stalwart for the club. 313 appearences for the club so far. AML - Scanlon 29c - He does his job without being spectacular. 136 games but only 16 goals is not a great return from a winger but he just seems to pop up when needed most. AMR - Brook 30b - The star of the team without a doubt. The RW has 29 goals in his 98 games so far and set up 21 goals this season alone. Has won 3 senior caps for New Zealand and looks like he could be a really good player. ST/CM - Jones 28c - filters between CM and ST depending on what formation I play. 182 games for the club but may have played his last as he is refusing to sign a new deal atm. ST - Onyeka - He will maybe be found out at League 2 level but he has been nothing short of sensational for us. 34 goals in 39 starts this season takes his tally to 332 goals in 442 games in total. A true FC United Legend. Back ups/Squad Players Walsh 29l - a solid choic at CB and with 151 games to his name already, i cant call him a back up player really. Chaplow 31c - Has started to break into the first team and contributed well this season with 8 goals and 3 assists in 21 starts. He fills in at RW when needed but is mainly a ST. Symington 30g - The CB is developing really well and improving all the time. Made 11 starts this season and has 65 games to his name so far. Schorah 27b - Was my starting LB for a couple of seasons but has been pushed out the side by Crayston and is not best pleased about it. Could be moving on this summer. Tarpey 31d - Doesnt get loads of game time as we used the 424 more than the 4231 this season but 5 goals in 11 starts is a great return. Has only 20 games to his name but will be in and around the squad again next season. Smith 32b - His first full season and it was a very promising one. 6 goals in 14 starts from the RW and when we eventually have to move Brook on he can do a job to lessen that blow. Jarman 32a - I was hopeful he could develop into our first choice RB but he failed to push Hendon out. Its only his first full season so I wont be too harsh and still hope he can become a good option at RB in the future. Made 19 starts and will get more next season. Youth Development Preview Intake Petrie 33a Savage 33b Liddle 33c Jewell 33d The preview promised 3 decent strikers and it didn't disappoint. Petrie and Jewell have both made an impact with 3 goals each and Liddle got 2 assists on his debut so the future looks bright. There are a couple other players who look like they could play a part squad wise but first 11? I doubt it. Finances and Facilities Finances Facilities Another solid season on this front with the money from the FA Cup run pushing us up to £2.8m in the bank. I instantly asked to go pro after the Liverpool tie and the board accepted, this meant little as winning the league meant we have to go pro anyway. I am going to hold back and see how much our youth set up is going to cost us monthly before spending anymore money as I am sure it will rise with the switch from part to full time. The board are also exploring a stadium expansion so that could also wipe our funds out soon. Other Overall Best 11 Club Records Our 2nd promotion has seen me given the status of Club Icon and I also reached 500 Games in charge of the club. Popular Post Daddy
2029/30 Season Review: We kinda snuck through there, but a win is a win and we're going back up. Some tactics adjustments from the previous season and one or two more adjustments wound up sticking. We weren't defensively stout as last time in the Challenge League, but our defense core has kinda been decimated the last two seasons. The big thing was a striker from the class of 27 stepped in and knocked in 27 goals in 25 appearances. Knowing my luck with this save I won't keep him much longer. The release clauses are killing me. Especially when their value instantly doubles or more and then they never play for the team they went to. I lost three starters last season and a top prospect. I can't get the contracts without these super low release clauses. If I was able to keep these players I think we'd be a stacked team. Youth Intake: Not much was predicted and not much was received. A & C are positions we're thin at so I'm certainly not complaining they're our two best players. However all the players worth signing were unambitious or temperamental. I fired the HYOD. With our return to the Super League I decided to get a new sponsor. I entertained myself with an "I Think You Should Leave" reference, but decided I wanted to find something local to Rapperswil-Jona. I tried to see if there were any businesses or something that stood out from there. While I didn't see anything local to the city I did see the Swisstainable logo on their tourism site (the city looks gorgeous by the way - if I ever make it to Europe I absolutely want to visit this town). I'm always a fain of trying to make things more sustainable for the planet and looking into this I felt it was a cool logo to use and I suppose give free promotion to lol (https://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/planning/about-switzerland/sustainability/). Overall this is now the tightest the roster has been. 39 overall players and only 3 legacy players left (starting and emergency keeper and a Winger that's barely holding on to a starting spot). I went through a lot of cutting players with lower potential and also keep losing some good players due to release clauses. I don't think we're as good as the team that got relegated two seasons ago. The only difference, and what might help us, is the offense is better. Our defense is significantly worse though. We lost Centerbacks, Wingbacks, and midfielders. The offensive players took steps forward beating up on the 2nd league, but the defensive players did not develop much and the ones that did were taken. I worry this could get ugly fast, but I'm just aiming for 10th place. 10th place is $2.36M. 11th & 12th is $0.
Neo_Geo
3 minutes ago, Daddy said: 2029/30 Season Review: We kinda snuck through there, but a win is a win and we're going back up. Nice one with the promotion and loving the 3rd kit (reminds me of the rangers 96/97 (one of my all-time favourites as it’s synonymous with Laudrup, Gascoigne and Jorg Albertz) I think when you start to have fewer of the legacy players it definitely improves your squad cohesion, I remember my decision to let my record appearance striker `9who was scoring well) go leave the club because I had a 16 year old who was banging in the goals for fun, never looked back.

It's always cool to see where they got some of these designs from. It's clearly an homage to that kit. Popular Post WhiteCat33
A.S. Luxembourgo Porto Season 12 2034-35 BGL Ligue (Tier 1) Intro & Club | Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 |Season 7 |Season 8 | Season 9 | Season 10 | Season 11 | Matches | Squad | Transfers |Facilities | Finances | Supporters Competitions: Conference League We got Irish side St. Pats Athletic, which I consider an unfortunate draw. We were awful away, and not good enough at home but at least they paid us Spoiler Cup We were unlucky to get Dudelange in the 3rd Round and we had a wild match where we lost on penalties after drawing level with 10 men. Spoiler League Our offense is one of the best in the country and they caried us to another Top-4 finish to secure a return to the conference league. If we can become a regular at this position I'll be thrilled. Until we can get good defensive players I doubt we will challenge for the title, but who knows these strikers are really something for Luxembourg. Spoiler Youth Academy: Youth Intake Preview Promises another Golden Generation Spoiler Youth Intake I'd say this was the weakest we've had in a while in that there are no players who I consider a star, but we did get a couple useful prospects Spoiler Best Prospects Spoiler Instead of starting at the top, I’m going to start with the GK because that is the position where we are in dire need of replacement. We hit Personality jackpot here of Fairly Professional + Reserved + Consistency! Perk is he’s a Cape Verde player as well. Is he good, well no but he might actually improve who knows. That 4 Aerial reach and JR is painful though. This is how bad we need GKs: Only other player who I consider ‘good’ is this tall winger with good physicals. And we got a CAM from another city in Luxembourg. Kind of funny we’ve had 88 different Portugal locations and this is only our second in Luxembourg. Best XI Spoiler Youth Products Highlights We actually have enough stars in the squad now I feel its worth highlighting them. Considering we still have Poor Youth & Training facilities its a minor miracle that my HOYD has found and developed these guys. As you'll notice all of them are in the offensive half of the field, because sadly he can't seem to find a defender. Strikers: João Pedro 10c - I mentioned him last season and he's just gotten better in his second season. 40 league goals in 28 games with an 8.11 rating. He's a protype advanced forward, more on the dribble/first touch than shooting. With his Resolute personality he's getting by far the best development on the team. Jorge Henriques 06c - He was the 2nd striker for the majority of the season. As a Pressing Forward he's fine, but is already overshadowed by the young-guns we've gotten recently. 84 goals in 149 appearances across 6 seasons isn't a bad return. Fábio Algarvio 11a - As we didn't have any injuries this year and both the above strikers performed amazingly I actually developed Fabio 'properly' in the U21 squad for this year giving him a few games during the season. He's a Deep Lying Forward, which will change my offense slightly when he steps up next year into the frontline. Midfielders: Emídio D'Avila 10b - Speed and Flair on the right flank makes him a great winger. 12 assists and 3 goals this season shows his return, and he's just getting better. Abílio Monteiro 10a - Vice Captain this year and will be Captain next year. Very happy with this holding center mid. Nuno Miguel 09a - Our Advanced Playmaker and dead-ball "specialist" earned himself an expensive contract at the end of the year as he's played really well as our playmaker. Physicals will become an issue soon, but hopefully by then he can function in a rotation roll. Rúben Caeiro 05a - Like Jorge, he's one of the few "old men" left in the squad and is a pretty good left winger to round out our Midfield 4. 12 assists and 5 goals with a 7.23 rating is solid and hes taken his career assists to 70. Like Jorge he started with us all the way back in the 3rd tier and has made the step up. Club Infrastructure Until I clear out the stadium debt the board won't agree to anything, but we are actually able to be positive with the European prizemoney. Just need to keep in the top 4 for another 5-7 years to clear the balance sheet. Coaching Badges None Thoughts A successful season as we show some serious attacking power with our rising strikers. They are on 4-5 year contracts, but we will see if it becomes hard to hold onto them. This is why I've kept Belgium loaded as they will be the first to take a chance on the young stars before any of the big leagues. I'll be taking a chance on the new GK next year and will be hoping for more defensive players in the coming years as this is the Assistants Best XI: notice all the notable weaknesses are all defensive attributes... Cultured Left Foot
Hello all, I know the rules stat no transfers or loans in, but I have a question (sort of preempting the danger of a change of board/owner).. If they bring a culture to "to buy young players for profit or first team" or even "buy first team players". Are you allowed to buy players, never play them and then sell them on a year later? Just wondering, as I'm worried that if a new board/owner comes in and make this a fundamental objective for you to achieve it could result in a premature ending if you don't do it.... Interested to know the thoughts of everyone! My instinct is that its against the rules. As the rules state, no transfers at all - but wanted to check! Popular Post Cultured Left Foot
If you'd like to keep up with the save in more detail, its available as a YouTube series on my channel here END OF SEASON 3 UPDATE We survived comfortably as we continued to make progress on and off the pitch. We have integrated more youth than ever and Season three was a real changing of the guard which saw previous top scorer Jake Cassidy dropped from the starting 11. The season was a bit of a rollercoaster, having peaks and troughs all over the place. At one point, it looked like we may sneak into the playoffs, but our end of season form made sure that pipe dream was long gone as we won 1 game in our last 8. However, it was a good season as we recorded our lowest number of defeats in a league season - just need to change those draws into wins! It does mean we've made year on year improvements in the early points of the save. Our board had some good news for the team as well, as they agreed to improve Academy Coaching and our Youth Recruitment. But then the chairman dropped the bomb that after the investment in the youth teams and recruitment, he was looking to relinquish control of the club - which was a huge shock as the club had only recently become fan owned. Of course, we had our youth intake, and the preview was positive - all positions gaining players having "A" ratings. The top players that actually came through were: Warhurst, O'Shea and McFadyen. The future is looking good for Guiseley and we are becoming more of a global club having players from across the UK, some others from Europe and even players from Australia, Guyana and Taipei! We head into Season 4 with a complete changing of the guard with 5 of our elder statesmen all being released after not earning new contracts. Overall, a good solid year showing more improvements and losing less games. Looking forward to see what our next batch of youngsters bring and where we can end the season - is the playoffs too much of a push?! Wish us luck for Season 4! Yeah, it's against the rules to actually buy players, so yes, it's against the rules. If the board has that culture, just ignore it and hope it goes away. The only exception to the "no transfers or loans for any reasons" are if you have a takeover and the new owner buy players without your involvement. If that happens, take screenshots to prove it, then dump the players to the reserves and never play them while trying to sell or release them asap. Also they can never be part of any mentoring groups, they are to be treated as though they don't exists.

Popular Post Redknapp_13
Hapoel Ra'anana Season Review Season 30/31 (Isreal Champions) Table - Conference League - Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers - Finances Absolutely fantastic season ending with the first league title in Isreal. Since I started 71 point would have never won the title, but we take it anyway. And I thought it would be a difficult season, as we had to sell Koral Bar-On 27A at the start of the season. Olympique Marseille triggered his release clause and there was nothing we could do. But it was once again Lior Gennish 25B who stepped up as a striker, scoring a fantastic 35 goals this season. And through the first half of the season, it was St. Gallen triggering the release clause for our second best player Klemi Ben-Melech 27B. But we have alot of youngsters by now, who could fill the voyd. Liran Dayan 29A became a first team regular. From last years intake it was Oren Cohen 30A played a role in his first season as well as Itzhak 30B, who will become our first choice keeper next season. Avihai Gabay 28F, Lidan Sa'ar 26A and Moshe Goren 26C have been the other Key Players. Our first international adventure endet in the Quarter-Finals against Strasbourg. We had no chance and lost 3-7 on aggregate. Dayan29A also made it on the NxtGn List Our first international was Ben-Melech shortly because he left And this successfull season led to the board deciding on a new stadium Intake 31 Yeah not the best preview but at least good positions Better intake than the preview suggested. The two centre-backs look really good Asi Boiter 31A Sinay Banay 31B Next year Champions League for the first time. Would be nice to make the group stage
Popular Post russ the womble
Season 1 - 2023 League Position After a brief stint at the top after a 12 game unbeaten run, we then struggled and eventually finished 9th, avoiding relegation by 3 points. Our season took a downturn after selling winger Mogamadov for £12k, however he has a 50% sell on and currently worth £250-800k, so maybe it will come back as a solid deal in a season or two. We had a couple of players come through in the first season from the youth - mainly played out of necessity as squad was threadbare otherwise. Of most note: Fredrik Duesund Ibsen Plenty of promise at 16 with a good personality to boot.
